(My everyday pan now) 『I got this pan here on sale about 6 months ago and use it almost every day. I absolutely love it. It's not nonstick but if you use it right and know how to cook, it works great without sticking. Nonstick pans are coated with toxins that give off gases when you heat them too high and you have to worry if you heat them higher than medium heat (read the warnings in the instructions). This pan can go as hot as you can handle and you can really sear dishes and make fabulous stir fries, sauteed mushrooms and other foods that need some quick, high heat. You can also do great potstickers and other foods that get that delicious crunchy bottom from the high heat sticking factor, then add a bit of liquid and it comes right off. You can make the best shrimp in the universe this way, with perfect browned bottoms. The pan is heavy and you can use any utensil without scraping or harming it (metal? no problem). No creepy coating is ever going to come off in the food. I love, love, love it.』

(One of my go-to cooking tools) 『I love, love, love this pan. Seriously, if you don't have one, you should get one. I've had mine for years, and it is my most used pan. It's a very versatile size, virtually non-stick, and VERY durable. I have made countless pasta sauces in it, and I often mix a pound of penne or other pasta right into the pan with the sauce, so that should give you a good clue as to its size.
Another bonus is that you can do a quick sear on your meat (chicken thighs, steak, pork chops), then pop the pan right into the oven to finish cooking.
I just wish I could afford the whole line of Calphalon because I know it would be worth every penny -- just as this pan was/is.

This product does what it is supposed to- It looks good, price is reasonable, nice and compact, worked very well- BUT - not for very long. The non-stick on the plates lasted 2 months - and replacement plates cost just as much as the machine itself. I think it has alot to do with the sandwich pattern that it tried to press the bread into. It has lots of places where it can stick - Pam doesn't help and it makes the bread taste funny. Never mind the oozing mess that comes out of the whole machine as the stuff in the sandwich starts to melt. All in all .. good while it lasted. But not recommended. I bought the West Bend Panini press to replace this one. Its been 4 months - it's not attractive - but it does the job really well and it $50. I looked at the bigger machines - but the problem is - they are all BIG. And they have "crinkle cut" grills which are just as difficult to clean. 』

So, when they arrived, I grabbed a bottle of red and a bottle of white wine and did some taste comparisons with the wife. We tasted a wine before and after aerating. I have to say, if nothing else, these things are very entertaining. When you pour wine into the top and it comes out the bottom into your wine glass, the wine bubbles loudly and it makes you laugh - very entertaining for a party. The difference is very noticeable. Wine run through the aerator is smoother and has more flavor. Nobody has ever guessed wrong about whether a wine was aerated or not. The quality of wine affects how the aerator works. A really bad wine may become drinkable, but don't expect it to become even good. On the other hand, a mediocre wine can become quite drinkable. So, your mileage will vary, but you should taste the difference clearly. I liked them so much, I bought another package and sent it to my duaghter who is also a wine lover. We evaluated 3 other immersion blenders before we finally found one that we felt was comparable, and it was this one. Very good quality, durability and is ergonomic.』
(One of my favorite kitchen gadgets ever) 『I use this every day to make smoothies and energy drinks with, to make waffle mixes, puree soups with, etc. Very handy little gadget! I do not really ever use the chopper part, but I love the hand mixer itself.』
(Great For a Main Purpose) 『This particular immersion blender is a fairly good choice. The fact that the blade is detachable makes cleanup quite simple, however the plastic food processor is a made of a cheap plastic that will barely survive five gentle hand washings.
Standard Use - 4/5 - The blade attachment snaps easily every time, and after two years of use, this is still the case. When looking at the material, it is a heavy gauge plastic that is designed to take a bit of kitchen abuse. The cord is long enough to allow for a decent distance leading into the pot.
Advertised Features - 1/5 - If you think you're saving money with the food processor attachment, look elsewhere. The plastic is incredibly thin and will not survive any modest temperature adjustment (don't add a hot or cold item to this). Cracks will ensue after a few washings if this attachment survives some basic use.
All in all, the price is incredible for a nicely powered immersion blender. The fact that it detaches is a great option for cleanup, but the attachments are not even worth giving a second though.』
(Cuisinart CSB-77 Hand Blender in 2004...works like new until now!) 『I bought our Cuisinart CSB-77 Hand Blender in 2004. My wife and I has been using this particular model to this date and have never encountered any problem at all. So portable and convenient, and really an excellent tool in the kitchen to move around with...and very easy to clean after use!』
(Chopper is not dishwasher-safe) 『This Cuisinart CSB-77 is my fourth immersion blender in 15 years. It is a terrible example of the type. I love immersion (stick) blenders and use one several times daily. I have one here in the US and one in my kitchen abroad; they replace two predecessors which have worn out over the years. I had always owned the ones made by Braun, which I've had in two different versions, with tons of attachments and several chopper bowl sizes. The Brauns also were more powerful (400 watts). But sadly the Braun model is discontinued, and I bought this one because of the chopper bowl and the Cuisinart reputation. It is awful. I wish I hadn't bought it. Why? 1. The metal tips of the blender end are very sharp and scratch the insides of my pots. 2. The unit seems underpowered and slow compared to the Braun. 3. It has only one speed, not the variable settings of the Braun. 4. It has very few attachments--and only one chopper bowl size. 5. And worst of all, the black, domed lid of the chopper is not dishwasher safe or immersible in water. The underside gets dirty from chopping and is very hard to clean--disgusting.

My pizzelle maker arrived today and I was so excited tht I immediately started to use it. Like what previous reviewers said, this product is really fantastic. I sprayed the 1st 2 times cos I was afraid the pizzelles would stick. I didnt spray for the remaining pizzelles but they didnt stick!! The pizzelles were evenly cook, crispy and beautiful!! Love this product to bits! Unfortunately, this wonderful product came at a whopping price for me.I had to pay US$155 for shipping from USA to Australia. As Amazon can ship this item only within USA, I decided to use an International shipping company, based in USA. Amazon ships the item to the International shipping company in USA, then the International shipping company ships it to Australia. The Pizzelle BOX itself measures just 10.5inch x 10.5inch x 5.5in. But Amazon packaged it into a way TOO BIG PACKAGING box measuring 26in x 20in x 8.5in!! This is 2x the pizzelle box!!( Btw,there was no padding/ bubble wrap inside the packaging box to reduce any impact. This increases my bewilderment as to why it was packaged in such a humongous box) Becos the packaging box was so HUGE - the International shipping co, which bases its shipping charges based on VOLUME charged me a whopping USD$155 just to ship this item to Australia!! This is more than DOUBLE the shipping costs I expected to pay!! If the pizzelle box was packaged in a correct sized packaging box, my shipping charges from USA to Australia would have at the very least be halved!!
