It's the right choice for your Capresso coffee-maker. Ours is not an espresso machine. This is the right fit and it was so easy to find on Amazon.com!
This is my 3rd Capresso 454 Coffee maker. I love them! Great coffee, all the time.
The filters that are used (1 comes with it) are about $5 each...3 for $15. What a giant ripoff!!
First, I think charcoal filters are a good idea....but Jeez, $5 per filter?!! These things should sell for $.50 each! A total ripoff!
My suggestion (after buying a 3 pack) is to use filtered water...or tap water. I don't think you will see a difference.
This filter is specially shaped to go into the little basket, so other filters won't work. What a great idea...One could spend a fortune on filters alone!
Use plain cold water....tastes the same!
I have bought these filters for years and was glad to see them carried on Amazon.

I noticed that a couple of reviewers who rated this item one or two stars based on the Capresso filter being the wrong size for coffee makers made by Hamilton Beach. Apparently, these persons are capable of ordering an item from Amazon, but are incapable of understanding that these filters are made to fit Capresso coffee machines. They gave the filters low ratings, not due to the performance of the filter, but due to their own ignorance in reading comprehension. It is ashamed that they will never see or read my review but, then again, I harbor no expectation that these words would be understood. Hopefully, these people do not order shoes online.
When I ordered the Capresso Grind&Brew Coffee maker, these filters were listed as complimentary items. However, they are not designed for the coffee maker I ordered, so I had to return them.
The Capresso coffee duo is the best I've ever used, however I've had it repaired twice in the past two years. Regardless, their customer service is excellent and I would buy it again in a heartbeat. I've been using these filters which work as described; you place one in the little basket, push the external button, then see a green light glow until it starts blinking about two months later and you need to replace the filter, when the cycle is repeated. I will no longer buy the filters, however, because the prices have escalated and I filter my water for consumption. I have one remaining filter and will use it, but I do believe that if you have another water filtration system, this is overkill. If you do use this filter, be sure to remove it when you clean your system with vinegar and water monthly, which I strongly recommend.

I like the Senseo decaf coffee. It is not too strong or too weak. It is just hard to find.
Again, the Senseo decaf pods are a lifesaver at work, where modular food and drinkstuffs are a must.

I just love the Senseo coffee maker and pods. You practically don't have to be awake to brew a perfect cup of java every morning! I can make the fully leaded for myself and the decaf for my husband without dirtying pots, finding filters, and using anything but our coffee cups! And it's perfect every time. I love it. Easy to use and clean. Just hot soapy water and done. It is a little heavy but good exercise for the arms.
This is my first review on amazon so people may not find it reliable, but let me just say that the only reason I never reviewed anything before is cuz I never found something this great!

I am a home chef and I spent months, literally MONTHS, deciding on an indoor grill. I was really hesitant to get cast iron because so many were complaining about food sticking, burning, etc. but I had heard wayyy too much negativity about electric/non-stick grills and griddles. So after reading almost all 200-something of the reviews for this product, I decided to give it a shot.

Based on all the reviews, I knew I should probably season this thing before the first use, but I was too excited to try it out right away. I went with some "experimental" pancakes (just mixed water into flour and baking powder) so that if they were ruined, it wouldn't be too much of a loss. I took the advice of all the others and was careful about pre-heating, timing, temperature control, etc. This was my first time cooking with cast iron so I was really positive that my first try wouldn't be successful -- but lo and behold, PERFECT PANCAKES! They were all the exact same, solid, golden brown color and perfectly cooked through. They didn't stick at all even though I hadn't seasoned the griddle (just brushed lightly with oil before pouring on the batter), and I think the reason people are having problems with sticking is because they try to turn the food over too soon. You have to wait for the first side to be COMPLETELY done, and you'll know it's completely done when one slight push will release it from the surface. I don't think there's really anything that would get stuck so badly that high heat wouldn't release it, so even if you have some particles of food stuck, just crank up the heat until they loosen up.

Obviously, it wasn't as slick and smooth as non-stick, but I'm positive that with a few more seasonings, it would be pretty darn close and will give you better tasting, better quality food. I also don't understand why people are making such an issue out of having to season it and calling it "hard work." All you're doing is brushing it with oil and sticking it in the oven, probably once a month depending on how much you use it. What's so hard about that?

I haven't tried the grill side yet so maybe I won't have as much luck with meat on the first try, but the plate definitely does heat up and cook EVENLY and quickly, so I'm not as skeptical as I was before. I think it's just a matter of patience and practice, trial and error. If you're into different cooking techniques, particularly grilling, this is definitely worth getting. But if you're buying this without having any real grilling or cast iron experience and think it would be as simple as throwing some ingredients on and watching them transform into a delicious meal without any effort, you are likely to be disappointed. You really have to learn how to use it properly to get good results. Using this grill requires patience, time, knowledge, and effort, but it's well worth it in the end!!

Oh and by the way, it's really not THAT heavy. If I can move it around without too much strain, anyone can (I'm about 5 ft tall and 90 lbs)
We use this griddle everyday for breakfast and for some meats and shrimp. It heats up fast and is very well made. However we never use the grill side so I cannot comment on that. As for the griddle side, it is large enough to cook 6 strips of bacon and 2 or 3 eggs at the same time. The grease catcher is very useful and perfectly built.
Bought this for the grill pan, but have found the griddle is much better than the light one I had. Both sides are great to cook on and get better with use as they become more seasoned. The heat is distributed well. I clean as directed, but have also used table salt to scrub the grill for burnt on marinade.

It is heavy and pouring off bacon grease after cooking IS exercise, but worth it.

Love this scale. The pull-out display is very convenient and I have found it to be very accurate.
I love that this scale takes up hardly any space, however just read that it shouldn't be stored on its side, so that's a drawback. Also, it doesn't always turn on right away; for some reason, we have to push the lb/kg button, then the power button. Otherwise, I love it. No more guessing on what constitutes half a package of pasta! I'm looking forward to using European recipes, too, which measure by weight and not volume.
The scale works great. Easy to clean, easy to use. Very intuitive. I couldn't be happier with it.
Excellent Kitchen Food Scale, great size that doesn't take up much counter space, fits in with the decor, and so easy to clean. My husband liked the fact that you can put a bowl on the scale before turning it on and it comes up 0 when turned on, you then add your food to the bowl or plate. We buy Boars Black Forest ham from the deli for lunch meat so guessing how many oz's=slices or an oz of cheese was always a hit and miss. Being able to detach the reading mechanism is helpful too, but we hardly ever detach it as it's set in a well lit place that's easy to read.
Disregard the 1 star review!!! This is an excellent food scale, providing consistent results time after time. The pull out feature is actually helpful when weighing ingriedents in a larger bowl. Something I never considered before. The zero function is quite helpful also. It is compact, so it's easy to store and use. I used to have a Cusinart scale which was larger and in 2 parts and this is so convenient and easy. I appreciate people who take the time to write a review and usually the reviews are fairly evenly weighted, so I was surprised to see one 1 star review stating that the scale gives erratic results. So I weighed and weighed ( 20+ times in a row) a can of food and each time the weight was the same, even when placing the can on different parts of the scale - center, to the sides. I weighed a letter ( 3/8 oz) about 20 times and each time - 3/8 oz! Perhaps this person got a defective scale or it got damaged in shipping somehow. This is one great scale!!

Gas and electricity has gone up so much lately. Pressure cookers can help you save by making cooking a lot much faster. It comes with a compact user guide and a small cookbook.

Pressure cookers can be dangerous, so make sure to read the safety precautions. Never fill it more than 2/3 of its capacity. You cannot open the lid while it is still pressurized with the built-in precautionary lock, but the rocker valve can easily get toppled and extremely hot steam can escape through it.

Pros:
- Stainless steel. You do not want aluminum for health reasons.
- We have been using this for more than 5 years. We just have to replace the rubber gasket around the lid.
- Although not as cheap as we like it to be, if you compare it to other manufacturers, you still save some money.

Cons:
- The pressure valve rocker. Other pressure cookers (but more expensive) has a non-removable pressure valve. It is often get misplaced.
- The rocker makes quite a bit noise.
I bought this to quickly make stocks, and cook soups and vegetables. It really does work, and makes yum-yum foods quickly, when one doesn't have the time to spend 3 hours making foods. I'm impressed by the quality of the stainless steel, particularly the bottom, which is pretty thick. I don't see any downsides to owning one.
Well made. Performs as advertised. Good thermal properties. I replaced our old AL pressure cooker with this SS model and it is far superior.
I was a little hesitant to buy this product due the reputation of the old fashioned exploding pressure cooker, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's very simple to use and performs as advertised. I've been very busy making all kinds of tasty soups in record time. I would definitely recommend this product. The only warning I would give is to be careful when washing the cooker as it has very sharp cutouts around the top. All in all, a great product.

I bought the Citrusmate specifically to juice enough lemons and limes for margaritas--margaritas for 40! It handled the different sized fruits well and fast. The only thing that took some time getting used to was knowing how much pressure to exert with the fruit on the spinning reamer; but I would guess most people would figure it out within minutes. The adjustment to allow more or less pulp is a plus. It's also very simple to set up and clean. Highly recommended.
I bought this juicer to replace one that I had. It really works great. It also has 2 different juicer heads to use, one for oranges etc and a smaller one for lemons, limes etc.

It also has a control where you can adjust the amount of pulp that goes into the container. I highly recommend this juicer.
This is my second juicer from B&D. Both stopped working for the same reasons and within a short time. I think when you juice a large quantity of fruit, it just gives out. I think the positive ratings are coming from people who JUST received their juicer. They don't know that it will stop working in a few days or weeks yet. Please don't buy this product.

All in all, this juicer did not perform the tasks I needed it to perform.

To avoid bias, here are criteria I've based my decision on.

Cons:

1. The juice spout leaked.
2. The base of the motor did not stay still on the counter, resulting in juice spilling on such counter on a regular basis.
3. The measuring containers to catch the juice do not effectively fit against the juicer, exacerbating the whole "leaking due to instability."
4. The pulp catcher clogs, and should be emptied every 3-4 fruits.
5. The plastic lid used to push down the fruit is of poor design.
*Pushing and holding the actual citrus by hand saves time and yields more juice.*

Basically this juicer does the job but there's hardly any power behind it and a lot of times if you press too hard the motor will stop for a second. It's alright...bought it for my parents but not going to buy one for myself

A baking stone is essential for the kitchen. It keeps the cavity at an even temp even if you are opening and closing the door. I preheat the oven for at least twenty minutes to ensure that the stone comes up to temperature. I put mine usually on the very bottom of the oven directly over the heat source. I find that pies and pastries come out with a much crisper bottom because of this. It is very useful for making all kinds of bread and rolls. This is a good size for my oven. It is a lifetime investment.
Wow - not sure what to think. I washed with clean water before first use as recommended by the user's guide. Placed into a cold oven and heated to 450 degrees. Baked bread OK but bottom was a little damp, not crisp. Probably need to heat longer? Afterwards, when the stone had cooled I took it out of the oven to wipe off crumbs and noticed a six inch hairline crack from the edge to the center. Not sure if this was shipping damage I didn't notice (many folks complain about receiving broken stones due to inadequate packaging) or the stone cracked from heating? Time will tell if the problem become worse....
This stone is a wonderful method of baking bread! I'm totally enthralled with this five minute bread baking technique. The book was easy to understand and the method using this baking stone is amazing.

The first Old Stone Oven Baking Stone that I ordered through Cook's Direct via Amazon.com arrived broken. It had been shipped in the original box the stone comes in which is not sufficient for UPS type shipment. However, my money was refunded without problems. Instead I then purchased the same item directly from Amazon which packed the original box into another box with plenty of peanuts. It arrived in fine condition.

As for the Stone itself it truely is a great cooking utensile and makes a not crispy crust pizza. I highely recommend using it.

The FryDaddy has been a staple in my family since I was little. My only caution: frequent users might want a separate fryer for meats than for other items. Once you've fried meat in there, everything is going to taste like it until you dump the oil and start fresh. So, if you're making chicken fingers and fries, this means you need to change the oil in between. (You could do the fries first, but they'll get limp and soggy while you wait for the chicken. They're best straight from the fryer.)
This was a little hard to find on-line but it is exactly what we wanted.

I think that the Keurig is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, iced tea, at the touch of your fingers and so quickly that many guests can have their favorite drink with no fuss and always fresh and piping hot. I have given one to each of my daughters and will consider it as a christmas gift this year. Any coffee drinker who loves good fresh hot coffee will love this machine. Kudoos to the inventers. Guskey
I did a lot of research and was actually reluctant about: 1) buying a single serve coffee maker (because I drink a lot of coffee) and 2) the price.
I have had the B70 for about 2 months and I absolutely love it. It's easy to setup and use, makes great coffee and looks pretty cool too.
I do tend to drink less coffee than I did but thats a good thing.
There are plenty of k-cup varieties and I also bought the reusable coffee filter. that works well but being able to just throw out the used k-cup has made me a bit lazy even when it comes to rinsing out the coffee filter.

Well after wasting coffee and constantly cleaning the pot and using filter, I went ahead and got this for myself. Wow! I dont miss my old pot at all (although I gotta admit, I wish they have Dunkin Donuts k-cups, then Ill be very happy). Its fast, easy, and slick looking! But thats the aesthetic part. The best part is how this machine is pretty quiet compared to my friend's B60 (she suggested this brand to me and was initially impressed with her machine). It has a bigger water reservoir and extra features such as ice tea maker! I use it mainly for coffee too - the various quantity of coffee, cocoa, and tea brand is a nice touch. More choices means better for us. Theres only a few parts you really gotta clean. Make sure you use filtered or bottled water because water is what gives it a better taste. I would like to add a feature where the machine powers down automatically when not in used instead of reaching in the back to switch it off. Love this thing.

We just got our machine and love every bit of it. The coffee is not "cafe standard strong" coffee by any means - but hopefully there is a reason you don't mind handing over a few bucks for high quality joe to those that make it best. Its a convenient and great machine for home/office use. I didn't find it incredibly weak or watered down if you use the right settings, but did find it better than my 10 cup coffee maker. I do like the coffee and variety compared to a Flavia machine as well. I like the fact that different brands market K-Cups (especially Diedrich's) and you can use what ever coffee you like in the MyCup filters to save you money. You can get great coffee on the smallest setting if you do lean to the strong/darker side like I do. As most coffee is set to brew for a 6oz cup - not larger amounts. My Husband loves the coffee and is not able to tell the water down effect. The Iced beverage setting is wonderful as well.

When we used our last cleaning tablet for our Jura Capresso maker, we logged onto Amazon to find more tablets. We ordered it on May 12th; the order shipped on the 13th and we received it on the 15th of May. We couldn't have asked for anything better as far as timing on the order. We are now stocked with cleaning tablets that work perfectly with our perfect capresso maker!!
Does what it is designed to do. I need one about every month or so (we drink a LOT of coffee). Painless.
As usual, Amazon had the best price and fantastic delivery. I just love ordering anything from Amazon!
These do a great job cleaning my F9. They even dissolve a good portion of the coffee sludge that sticks to the drip pan. Make sure you use these in your J.C. superautomatic!
