Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Bulletproof Hand Mixer) 『I decided to wait a year to write this review, just to see how this product would hold up. After a year of frequent use, I could not be happier with this mixer. I have used it to make mixtures that were quite thick - most notably homeade Marshmallow Fluff - and I found that I could not break this mixer no matter how thick the mixture. Egg whites, dough, mashed potatoes become cinch. I could not acheive the same results with a handheld whisk no matter how hard I beat - this is truly a time- and energy-saving appliance. I cannot say this about many small kitchen appliances, but I have good reason to believe this hand mixer will last 20 years or more - very consistent with the quality one would expect from Cuisinart. Despite the fact that the power rating on the Cuisinart is about a third that of a comparable Kitchen Aid hand mixer, it is seemingly bulletproof. Just so no one gets any suprises, the lowest speed on this mixer is surprisingly high - if you hold it straight and use a large mixing bowl, you will have no problems. After some practice, you can hold it straight enough to use in a medium-sized mixing bowl with minimal splatter. The recipes included in the manual are a nice bonus feature. It will probably be a long time before I need to buy another hand mixer.』
(Perfect!) 『I almost didn't buy this mixer because the other reviews mentioned it being so powerful it was mostly impractical. I beg to differ. I used it today for the first time and think the other reviewers who were having problems with too much power probably didn't notice that they turned the mixer on past the first power level. The tab for changing the speed of the mixer does move easily so I'm guessing these people hadn't noticed they turned it on past the first level. So don't let them scare you off. This mixer is great at all speeds!』
(Cuisinart HM-50 Power Mixer) 『I love this mixer! Great power! Great speed settings! I replaced a 3 speed Cuisinart so the additional 2 speeds gives me even better control. The mixer has the power to mix cookie dough and to add the extra ingredients, like chocolate chips and nuts. No need to stir them in by hand .Cuisinart makes an excellent product!』
(Not what I had expected) 『I had a Cuisinart hand mixer for 10 years and loved it. I thought this new one would be just like my old one. It's only problem, which is big, is that it has no low speed. Speed 1 beats so fast that everything flys out of the bowl.』
(Not like they used to be!) 『Though the mixer seems to do the job that it was purchased for(routine batter mixes for cakes&cookies), it had been quite some time since I needed to purchase a new hand mixer. I was surprised at the quality of materials used, all plastic body and the mixer blades themselves are thinner&much lighter weight than the ones I had been used to. I guess one shouldn't be complaining though, until I doscover a problem with it....just be aware that it may not last as long as an older mixer.』 『The Cuisinart Power Advantage 5 Speed Hand Mixer, flawlessly and easily mixes even the heaviest ingredients. From dense cookie dough to whipped cream, the powerful motor with automatic feedback can perform any mixing task. And the slide control easily shifts speeds with just one touch!』

This brought it to a boil in about 20 minutes, when my stovetop (if it could even have done it at all) would take hours. This would've gotten five stars except for two things: the pot itself is a bit flimsy (though I don't much care if it has some small dents, as long as it holds water) and the paint on the burner burns off the first time you use it - it smells terrible, but doesn't really affect anything else. I've used it again since the first time, and there was no more terrible smell, so it's just a one-time thing. Seems silly to paint it if it's just going to burn off, though.
If I decide to fry a turkey, I'll come back and update this review. 'Til then, it's definitely a cheap way to bring a whole bunch of liquid to a boil.』
(Dangerous) 『No one who has children, pets, or family/friends who has ever had an awkward moment should use any turkey fryer [...]
Here's what the Underwriter's Laboratory has to say about turkey fryers: ""The numbers (for turkey-fryer fires) are not going down but going up," said Barbara Guthrie, the director of consumer affairs at Underwriters. "At present, we do not believe that there are any sufficient standards that address the safety concerns."
Guthrie said those concerns begin with 5 gallons of scalding 700-degree grease precariously perched over an open flame. And many fryers are unstable -- especially the tripod models -- which leads to a high incidence of tipping.
When the oil meets the fire, Guthrie said, the fryers instantly become a "vertical flame thrower."
The Underwriters Web site features a video of a turkey fryer filled with hot oil that overflows. When the grease hits the flame, the fryer turns into a volcano of smoke and fire in just seconds.
"We don't believe the taste is worth risking your home, your life or the life of your children," said Guthrie."
Can you, your child or pet survive a close encounter with several gallons of 700* oil? Ask a local fireman or EMT for their recommendation--』
(Get what you pay for) 『As another poster mentioned, the paint doesn't last past the first use of this product. What he didn't go into, however, is that this paint is apparently flammable. On my second use of the burner I had the gas flowing at about 90%, left to go inside to grab something to drink, came back outside and the entire unit was in flames. If you are going to buy this burner, make sure you keep a very very VERY close eye on it until the paint burns (not melts, burns) off. I'd even advise trying to scrape the paint off as a precautionary measure.
Other than that, the pot and accessories served their purposes well. Just wish that if the paint was going to burn off from the get-go that they'd just sent one without any paint on it at all.』
(TURKEY FRYER FOR HOME BREWING NEEDS, GREAT BUY) 『I purchased this turkey fryer kit with home brewing on the mind. I am a novice home brewer and this kit allowed for me and the fellow members of the Rat Bastard Brew Club to venture outdoors to brew beer, instead of in the cramped kitchen. This product allowed us to do a full five gallon boil, which provides you with a better product than a 3 gallon partial boil on the stove. I am pleased with this product and the quality of the kit in general, I would recommend this to anyone who has home brewing on the mind.』
(You get what you pay for.) 『The paint burnt off of the burner frame at first use but does not affect performance. The set did not include a wrench necessary for assembly which was inconvenient. The pot was dented but again performance is not affected. The instructions were accurate and clear. The bird cooked as described and was excellent. The set is versatile but uses A LOT of oil. Straining the oil after use for storage is a nuisance. It would help if the pot had a pour spout and came with a wide-mouthed funnel. Having read prior reviews, I wasn't surprised by the product upon receipt. If quality is a must, then shop for another brand.』 『The Bayou Classic Outdoor Cooking System is the essential item needed when entertaining outdoors! The 30-Quart Stockpot was specifically designed for frying whole turkeys. The tall, narrow patented design requires less cooking oil than a standard stockpot. The perforated raised poultry rack allows the cooking oil to circulate evenly when frying, preventing the bottom from scorching. The grab hook provides a way to safely insert and remove poultry from hot cooking oil. The 12" Stainless Steel Deep Fry Thermometer is perfect for maintaining a constant temperature of cooking oil when frying.』 『Specifically designed for frying whole turkeys, this 30-quart outdoor stockpot circulates oil for even cooking temperatures and tender, juicy meats. Not only does this rack make more sense, it also is so easy to assemble and put away after use. It is also very stable in my opinion (more than my old method) and there is quite a lot of room to put your pasta sheets or fettucine ribbons etc. to rest and dry.
Love it!』
(Buy more than one if you make a lot of pasta - I love this simple draying rack.) 『I absolutely love this thing and as a matter of fact have three of them. Even a complete klutz like myself can assemble one of these in a snap. No more drying your wonderful pasta on the counter or (and I blush when I say this) using a cloths drying rack...this is much more classy. No more yucky clean up and no more flour on my dark unmentionables. Clean up is an absolute breeze...completely no problem. Quite often simplicity is the best and that old saying certainly hold true with this product. Like another reviewer here, I must tell you that the wood these are made from is not the strongest so don't let your sister's insufferable brats play with it too much as it will not stand the handling of three Neanderthal larva for very long. All in all, I could not be happier with a product. 』
(Great rack) 『i really like this rack. it collapses and easily stores under counter (requires rubber band to keep dowels neatly bound to center spindle). it is light, cheap and does exactly what it is intended to do.』
(So easy a 3 year old can do it!) 『After reading the reviews, I was a bit hesitant to buy this rack. However, after receiving it, we were delighted! It is so easy to use, we allow our 3 year old to assemble, disassemble and clean the rack every time we make pasta. I read that storage was an issue, but we put ours back in the box and stack it in the cupboard with the cutting boards and cookie sheets. I would recommend if you are looking for an economical drying rack. This is one purchase we feel was worth every penny!』
(Pasta Drying Rack that stored easily) 『This rack is easy to store as it breaks down into a number of pieces that are very easy to put back together. It works great for drying pasta.』 『* Four 18-inch wood dowels provide eight arms for drying fresh pasta * Drying rack stands 16-1/2 inches high * Heavy, 7/8-inch-thick base for stability * Disassembles easily for storage * Traditional unfinished wood; wipe clean with dry or damp cloth』 『Even the longest fresh fettuccine or linguine won't touch the counter when draped on the arms of this sturdy pasta drying rack. The rack stands 16-1/2 inches high, including a heavy, stable, 7/8-inch-thick base. Assembly (and disassembly for storage) is simple. The 3/4-inch center post screws into the base. Four 18-inch dowels then slide through holes in the post, providing eight arms--cunningly angled so they don't interfere with one another--on which to hang fresh pasta to dry before going into the pot, refrigerator, or freezer. As is traditional, the rack is made of unfinished wood so pasta strands don't slide off.--Fred Brack』

(Loved It!!!) 『I have been wanting pie shields for quite some time. I wasn so happy the day I got them in the mail that I had to make pies right away. Loved Them!!! no burnt crusts!!!! Yea!!!! I have glass pie pans with handles on them so the shield didnt fit completely down on top of the crust but I put it on anyway and it helped shield the crust so it didnt get burnt. I would happily recommend shields to anyone.』
(Great Pie Crusts) 『I love it. Glad to be done with wrapping foil around the edges. Works well since it is flexible and easily fits over edges - regardless of the shape and lack of uniformity.』
(Pie crust shield needs a little tweaking) 『Except for the fact that this product is really great, for my ability not to crush the crust, it is necessary to slit 2 holes for the pie plates 'ears' - other than that I am glad I found it.』
(Not As Advertised) 『I love how this product works. Much better than the aluminum shields. The only thing I was very disappointed in, and as it was the main reason I bought it, was it did not fit a 10" pie plate as advertised. It fits a 9" pan perfectly, but not a 10" pie plate. If you are looking to use this using a 10" pie plate, this is not the pie shield for you. Otherwise, this is a great produc.』 『Place on top of pie crust before baking, leaving on pie throughout cooking time. Allow pie to rise in middle to prevent spillage. Ideal for pies up to 10 inches. Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (They got it right!) 『We have been on a mission to find the perfect coffeemaker for us and we finally found it-so far anyway :) We've had "Brewstations" which we originally loved because no carafe to break and 12 cup capacity but eventually the quality of the coffee went south....Mr Coffee that we bought at Costco died on us within 7 months. Although the company that handles warranty issues was fabulous to deal with and they sent out a replacement (not exact - we had glass carafe with 2 hour auto shutoff they sent thermal carafe immediate shutoff) we were UNHAPPY. We will NEVER recommend a thermal carafe to anyone. NOW back to the Cuisinart - LOVE LOVE LOVE....14 cup capacity means I get coffee even after my hubby has had his share before I get up and it is HOT still because of the selectable 1-4 auto shutoff and it still tastes great. The carafe design almost always allows you to pour water into the reservoir without spillage unless you get klutzy like we do sometimes but that is NOT the carafe's fault. Spacewise it has a nice footprint - just be aware that if you put it under a cabinet or any other sort of cover you will have to move it away in order to pour the water. We love the permanent filter that is included. You can choose regular or bold flavor. The price can't be beat. As I said we had shopped and researched and for the price you get more with this Cuisinart than you get with some inferior models that cost more!』
(Great Coffee Maker) 『 Lets get the negative stuff out first. The clock is not back lighted but, I didn't buy a coffee maker to tell the time so, big deal. I have only had the machine for a week so I can't say how it will hold up in the long run. That aside this is the best coffee machine I've ever used. The controls are right out front and easy to use. Running it and programing it is simple and straight forward. Cleaning it is a snap. It looks good on the kitchen counter and it has all the features you could want and they all work as outlined in the directions. If you follow the sugested directions for making coffee it makes great coffee every time. However, don't use cold water. If you do I think the machine dosen't gets it hot enough. There is a 14 cup capacity which is great if you and your wife both take a themos to work. We used to have to make two pots in the morning. I always read reviews about products but, I've never taken the time to write one. This coffee machine deserves my time.』
(A good brew) 『This coffee maker really makes hot coffee and the 14 cups is just what is needed in a place where a lot of coffee is consumed. So far it has proven to be very very good. I would recommend it. Peace to all』
(Very good buy.) 『I bought this to replace a Krupps Pro Aroma which was the best coffeemaker I ever owned. My husband is picky about his coffee. We only use Dunkin Donuts regular blend. With the Cuisinart coffeemaker, the cups are bigger, so I had to add more coffee or use less water. I love the 14-cups for when our kids our home. When I tried to check the water temp. with a meat thermometer, it was about 185º. I bought this off Amazon due to the good reviews. I agonizied over which coffeemaker I should buy since my husband wanted one as good as the Pro Aroma. The Cuisinart does pop, but I hope that gets better with age. I don't set it ahead, we just start it in the morning. I love the gold screen, and I can use the Krupps screen in the new coffeemaker. I never use a paper filter. We make coffee everyday, and I wash the screen out shortly after the coffee is done. The pot pours out perfectly, a feature that was awful on the Krupps. I never cleaned the Krupps, so I'm happy that the Cuisinart model will tell me when I need to clean it. I'm not really impressed with the looks of the coffeemaker, but my adult daughters think it looks so cool!』
(Great Coffee Maker) 『My wife and I have been serious coffee drinkers for the past 10 years. After our Braun thermal (which we loved) died on us, we had a difficult decision to make. I studied many different makes and models and finally decided on the Cuisinart 2600. We've had it for 2 weeks now and love it! We can't find one flaw. One reviewer mentioned the coffee wasn't hot enough. Their unit must be faulty because ours brews hot and maintains very hot coffee with a medium heat setting. The water filter holder even has a long handle so you can easily place it a slot in the bottom of the water reservoir. The designers afforded a lot of time and attention to the details. A must buy for serious coffee drinkers.』 『Brew Central Coffeemaker provides Coffee lovers will all their favorite features in this extra-large capacity coffeemaker. Flavor is a matter of taste, so Cuisinart now offers both regular strength and bold settings. And since temperature is important, too, we've included an adjustable heater plate that keeps coffee at the temperature selected. With a built-in 60-second memory in case the power goes out, and full programmability, this is a coffeemaker that's easy to love.』

(KitchenAid is a great company) 『I purchased this set of kitchenware and love it. My last set was a very good set but so heavy I hated to use it. The only thing you need to do is use the right utensils with it and not any metal.』
(Hasn't held up well...) 『I purchased this set at a department store almost 2 years ago, and have not been impressed with its durability. The nonstick coating on the larger frying pan has peeled off in the middle, and I'm afraid to use that piece, for fear that the nonstick material will come off into my food. The large skillet became warped very quickly, so it no longer sits flat on my glass-top stove, and it's almost impossible to heat food evenly. And the "rivets" that hold the handles onto the pots/pans are exposed on the inside of each piece, and are a pain to clean. I bought this set to replace an even cheaper t-fal set, but I think I'm going to have to invest in some quality cookware, rather than waste money on more cheaply-made sets like this. (Note: I'm not much of a cook. These don't get heavy use, but still haven't held up.)』
(Perfect for foodies) 『I have used at least one pot/pan each day since I opened the box. I have not had any issues with food sticking and the inside and out clean up very easily. They are so good that my sons actually make their own omelets most days because the eggs don't stick.』
(so far so good!) 『I have been cooking using these for a while now. I can tell, for sure, they are amazing. This is my best set so far, well, not considering LeCreuset's cast iron items that I have. The only problem it gives me is that I can not put them in the dishwasher. It is recommended to wash them by hands. I stick to it. The sizes are right (I have a family of 3, even though I wish they had a little bigger pan for frying. So, make sure to check the sizes of all items. They come with nice see-through lids, which on top have some rubber and are cool to touch. I also started using less oil when I fry, so my cookking became a little healthier. As to the word "HARD-ANODIZED" some people say it is not as good, as stainless steel. Come on, I hate stainless steel frying pans. They just burn the food. And I am not that bad of a cook and I cook every day. Well, I have done my research, and I still choose Hard-Anodized. It's definitely better and MUCH MUCH MUCH MORE HEALTHIER that Teflon coating and all those non-stick coatings that you find on aluminum pans that sell for 20 - 30 bucks or less. So, good luck! Oh, almost forgot, I bough this set at a slightly higher price, so for you it'll be a great deal! Do not even bother to check other stores - Amazon has the best price, and I absolutely love Super Saver Shipping option :))』 『This cookware set is an exceptional value, including all of the pans needed to equip your kitchen with the most used cooking-Pieces. Durable, handsomely finished in matte charcoal gray, and known for its exceptional heat distribution and retention properties, hard-anodized cookware is a very popular choice for the home chef. KitchenAid embellishes these pots with stainless-steel handles, riveted for strength and wrapped with cushy, stay-cool silicone grips. The lids, made of break-resistant glass for optimum viewing, also feature silicone-wrapped handles, highly arched to enable easy grasping with a potholder or oven mitt. Both the pans and lids are oven-safe up to 400 degrees F.
An excellent value, this 12-piece set consists of the most frequently used kitchen pots and pans and makes a great gift set. The two skillets, measuring 8 and 10 inches in diameter, handle everyday frying and sautéing needs, from eggs-over-easy to grilled cheese sandwiches to fish filets, then crepes for dessert. Three saucepans holding 1, 2, and 3 quarts let you boil a single egg, heat soup, and slow-cook a creamy risotto with wild mushrooms. It is a stiff, sturdy brush that gets the job done. It's the right length, has the perfect angle for applying pressure while scrubbing. I use vinegar and baking soda when the pan is particularly oily. Besides I've never been comfortable with washing my Lodge pan with just hot water after I've cooked meat or eggs on it. The brush does discolor with scrubbing and I toss it in the dishwasher when running a wash. I used Scotch Brite pads before purchasing this brush and those were not easy to clean after a scrubbing. Tall enough to stack pint jars 2 high it's cut my processing time in half. Super easy clean up when using for cooking. If you need a new canner this is the one you should definitely get.』
(Great canner for the price) 『I got this specifically for canning, and have used it now to make pickles, apples, applesauce, applebutter, roasted peppers and am going to be doing squash next. It has worked great, it seems of good quality, but this is ENORMOUS! I don't think I really realized how big it would be. Due to it's size you have the advantage of being able to get the water deep enough to hold 2 tiers of pint cans for a boiling water bath (though getting an extra rack would make that easier), and it holds 7 quart jars as well. Thing is though that the 16 quart says it can hold 7 quart jars as well, and while probably it couldn't do 2 rows of pints as a boiling water bath, I bet it gets up to temperature alot faster and doesn't take up so much space. Those are really my only complaints with this, it takes quite a while to build up pressure and it is just so big I have no choice but to stick it in the room I keep my canned products, no room in my kitchen.
That said, before I bought this I had no idea you can use a pressure canner to cook. I tried using this to make a beef roast, and it was UNBELIEVABLE! In like 40 minutes I had beef that fell apart like I had roasted it all day, only it was juicier and the flavor was MUCH BETTER penetrated through, amazing! Of course the problem was clean up... it's just so big that it barely fits in my sink. I ended up finding an 8qt pressure cooker that I've been using since to do my day to day cooking with (and you can save money buying cheaper meats that will taste like you cooked them all day!) and I pull out this for the canning... though I am seriously considering doing my Thanksgiving turkey in this!! (I bet it will be good too).
This is I am finding out what is known as "first generation" for a pressure cooker, and it makes quite a bit of noise, but that doesn't bother me so much, those others are alot more $$ of of my pocket... I can handle a little noise, thank you. If what you want is a really big quality pressure canner that looks like it will probably last the rest of your life (with maybe a replacement gauge or seal or something along the way), this is a great choice for the money.』 『Holds 7 quarts, 20 pints or 24 1/2 pint jars. Features readable steam gauge for easy and accurate pressure control. Extra strong, warp-resistant aluminum construction provides fast, even heating. Doubles as a large capacity pressure cooker. Gleaming, polished finish for lasting beauty. Cooking/canning rack and complete instruction/recipe booklet. 23 Qt. capacity.』 『The USDA recommends pressure canning as the only safe method for low-acid foods such as vegetables, meats, and poultry. The Presto 23-quart pressure canner is more than adequate for any home canning needs. It's a professional-quality tool, made of heavy-duty aluminum, with stay-cool handles and a strong-lock steel lid. An accompanying rack fits down into the pot to keep jars up off the bottom, so that liquid can circulate underneath. And it can do double duty as a large pressure cooker. It's easy to cook healthfully with pressure cookers, since the food retains so much more of its nutrients and flavor.
The sturdy lid locks down during canning or cooking; an inner sealing ring keeps the steam in. In addition to a pop-up pressure indicator and a simple steam release mechanism, there is an overpressure plug that will let off steam if it builds up excessively. The pressure dial gauge gives an accurate reading so that pressure can be kept constant during canning. This pressure canner is also a cooker that's useful for weeknight dinners or for any meal that needs to come together quickly. An accompanying booklet contains more than 50 recipes, ranging from basic soup stocks to stews and pot roasts--even sweets like English Plum Pudding or Brown Bread! Tenderize lean cuts of beef or pork, or cook chicken, fish, or vegetables faster than you can in a microwave, and without losing moisture.
Nonabrasive cleansers are best for cleaning this aluminum pressure cooker, though occasional use of a fine metal polish will help the exterior keep its shine. The lid of the Presto 23-quart pressure canner is not immersible. In addition, the sealing ring should be removed after each use to allow cleaning of the inside rim of the lid. The dial gauge is delicate; detailed care instructions are found in the accompanying booklet. The vent pipe is simple to keep clean with a small brush or pipe cleaner, and both the air vent/cover lock and the overpressure plug are removable. The pressure cooker measures 14 inches in diameter (17 inches including handles) and 15-1/2 inches tall (including lid). Presto guarantees this pressure cooker with an extended 12-year warranty. A detailed instruction and recipe booklet is included; special safety issues that pertain to pressure cookers are clearly explained.--Garland Withers』
