MADE IN CHINA.
The plastic had an unpleasant odor, so I returned all four that I ordered. I balk at drinking out of products that are made in the most polluted nation on the planet... Not to mention their bad reputation for constructing items containing lead, poison, and other dangerous chemicals.
I bought this thermos because I wanted a large container to hold more than a cup of coffee. I bought the Nissan travel mug in the 16 oz size over 10 years ago and still love it. This thermos is no exception. It holds a good amount of coffee and, the most important thing - it stays hot for hours! In fact, I poured coffee into it one morning and poured a mug from it that evening and actually burned my mouth because it was still so HOT! I love it and highly recommend it!
The smaller version keeps the coffee hotter throughout the day, but you get less coffee. Make sure you fill the big one (this one) all the way full. Also, I found it would work even better if I boiled water and put it in 10 minutes or more before making and adding the coffee.
This thermos keeps my coffee hot longer than the coffee will hold it's flavor. Even with the thermos half empty it keeps my coffee hot. I took away one star because I get only 31 ounces of liquid in the thermos - the screw on lid is very deep and therefore the thermos can only be filled to a ring deep inside. This unit also pours very well with a twist open to a marked pouring position. Overall a great thermos!
I drink hot tea, and so far it's stayed hot for 8 hours in this Thermos. It would probably last longer, but by that time I'm out of tea! The only thing I would have liked to have seen out of this is a push button dispenser like I've seen on a few others. This has the standard, "turn counter clockwise and pour." Still though, for the price I can highly recommend it.

I have the original set - sans lids - What a complete improvement!!! I can stir up some concoction, then slap a lid on and it heads to the frig. Warming it up is a cinch, too...Love it!
I love these bowls. I had similar sizes in the plastic set I bought elsewhere and I'll never go back to the plastic ones since I have these glass ones. Makes me nervous because their glass but I'm just more cautious w/ these than i was w/ the plastic ones. I loves the sizes and all the colorful lids. The lids fit great even after washing them. I was afraid the lids would shrink up like other plastic lids but these haven't so far. If u buy this set at bed bath&beyond at the same price u only get 3 bowls and this set comes w/ four so your saving $ right there! Very pleased w/ this purchase. U must buy.

I got this as a present (after requesting it) and I'm very happy with it. The bowls are of thick glass, the lids seal well, and in all it's quite good quality for the price. I've used them a lot already.
I bought these bowls as a gift but I also own them. I love the fact that they have lids. I have used them to bring dishes to parties and to work. The large bowl is a great size for a large salad or a big batch of cookies. I use the small one for melting chocolate or for leftovers. Great buy!

We have two Zyliss garlic presses, and have no complaints about them, but when I saw this beauty on special in the Gold Box I had to have it. The larger capacity allows me to press two cloves of garlic at once, and works just as well on a 1" chunk of ginger. A real time-saver, and exceptionally easy to clean, since the components swing away from the handle for easy access. No digging out with tip of a knife. The handful of reviewers who had a bad experience are clearly the exception here - they should have returned their units for replacement.
This garlic press has a lot going for it. It's strong and easy-to-clean. But the design is flawed in that one arm overlaps the other. When you're squeezing hard to close it, if your hand is cradled too closely around the arms, your skin will get caught when the top arm closes over the lower arm, resulting in a serious pinch.
I evaluated this Press and the K.R. Easy-Squeeze before making my purchase. Although I ended up choosing the Easy Squeeze (a little short on cash that week), it wasn't an 'easy' decision because I really liked the Epicurean.

The Epicurean is absolutely beautiful in person- much better than it looks online. I admired that (I'm in the design industry) as well as the 'heft' of the product (feels like when you hold a very well balanced Chef's knife in your hands).

I am very happy with the Easy Squeeze, but if/when anything happens to it, the Epicurean is my replacement.

Also, I believe that the Epicurean would make a great gift for those who are serious cooks or those that appreciate great industrial design (or design in general). And if a person likes both cooling and design, it's a sure hit!

PS - the mechanism to press the garlic appears to be the same one used in the K.R. Easy Squeeze Press, and so I can say (after using it several times a week for the last 2 months) that it is very easy to clean and TOTALLY presses out a huge amount of garlic (where does it all come from?!)

This is a great garlic press, but given its cost I'd have expected it to have been manufactured in a country with fair labor and human rights practices.

It may be by a Swiss company, but don't be fooled, it is MADE IN CHINA!

This is an amazing garlic press. It held up quite well while I was beating my wife with it for buying a $38 garlic press. I anticipate many years of use from this amazing press.
This handsome, all-stainless steel garlic press is simple the best. It's so efficient that it can press unpeeled cloves and even presses ginger. Designed to fit comfortable into the palm of the hand, it has been engineered to require far less effort to use than other presses. The sieve hinges out to flush clean under water.

Was awesome for the first 5 hours then it croaked. Brisket normally cooks 6-7 hours (in Texas). Will be sending unit back to see if it's the sensor or the transmitter.
Can't say anything bad about it all that says it is it is! It dose cost a lot but it is wroth it. My oven was 40degrees to high by using this I can tell a big difference in baking.
This is a great idea for people like me who leave stuff on the grill too long, but when you close the grill cover, it can cause the wire to burn/ melt... Not a great idea for a product meant for high temperatures! but the talking feature worked great, and I found the meat to be at perfect doneness.
We used to eiter under cook or over cook everything in our oven. This thermometer takes all the guess work out of trying to figure out whether dinner is ready or not. The interface could be a little better and intuitive, but a quick glance of the manual it came with clears it all up. A great addition to our kitchen utensils.
I could watch TV while I was cooking a chicken.

This percolator works fine -- BUT there are no inside measurement markings as stated in product handbook and/or as one would expect. I can live with this but it falls below what I would expect from Farberware and quite frankly cannot understand why this would happen. Also, I would rather pay $2 more for a glass percolator top than have to order separately from another seller.
This is a no problem coffee maker, and it makes Great coffee.
Percolators give the whole house that coffee aroma, which is absent in dripers.

First of all I will say that this is a quality product. It is not advertised correctly. The clear top is made of plastic when the advertisement states that it is glass. I did not want a plastic one because I have this thing about not drinking from or storing in plastic containers. The plastic top was cross threaded and when I removed it, with some force, in order to thread it correctly, the black plastic trim/gasket broke. None of this is a problem since I was planning to replace the plastic top with a glass one, which I found at a local hardware store for $3 and some change. When ordering this percolator, the website says that people also ordered a glass top, which I would recommend. Be advised - I found 2 different diameters of replacement tops and the smaller of the two, with a stainless steel backing nut, fit the percolator. The larger one would not and what I am driving at is you may want to be sure that the glass top advertised will fit. The glass top I purchased listed all the brands that would fit and Farberware was listed.

The percolator is very sturdy and shiny and makes a good coffee, my only complaint is about the plastic top that was poor quality and advertised as being made out of glass, and for that reason I am only rating with 4 stars instead of 5.
Got this baby to replace my 3 month old Paula Dean Percolator - thank goodness for Faberware. Now my coffee brews is 7 minutes, doesn't boil over and the handle stays cool.

My Grandma is 101 years old&still does her own cleaning&cooking. She's also, as one would expect, a little old-fashioned. She won't try anything new. So, when she finally needed to replace her coffee pot, she asked me to take her to the store to get one. But you can't find these coffee pots anywhere! I explained to her about the drip coffee-makers we all use "now-a-days". But she refused to try one&wouldn't even consider an electric percolater. Said she had received one as a gift, but it's still in a box in the basement. So I went to amazon, where I find just about everything I can't find anywhere else,&got her this coffeepot. My Grandma'a pretty fussy so I wasn't sure this coffeepot would pass the test....but she loves it! So this product has my Grandma's stamp of approval on it! That's really saying something!

Every time we tried to make popcorn with it the popcorn always came out stale and was not crispy. We tried different ways of popping with and without the lid, with and without butter but the popcorn was always stale and chewy. If you like stale and chewy popcorn this is for you.
The product arrived with a broken piece of plastic, but you can still pop the corn. The product is ok. Too many pieces to clean and wash when done. Corn pops quickly, that's good.
This little popper is the most efficient, easy to use, easy to clean, kernel popper I've ever encountered. It pops every kernel -- something I've never seen before. I don't know if it means anything, but I use olive oil to pop my corn. Anyway, I would recommend this unit to anyone.
I've owned multiple Stir Crazy popers over the years, when they work, they make the best theater popcorn in the world, especially if you use one of the coconut oil prepacks.

Unfortunately, the current design that West Bend is shipping is substantially below the quality of earlier models.

The combination of an undersized motor and bent wire like stir means that kernels frequently get stuck under the wire. This causes the motor to go into a strange auto reverse dance that fails to stir all the kernels. If you aren't there shaking the pan like a manual popper, you end up with burnt kernels instead of popped corn.

The non-stick finish quickly wears off in a couple of places. First along a molded ridge in the pan, and then where ever the kernels get trapped by the wire stir.

Another recent problem is the motor failing to start leading to a hot pan and no stirring.

It also used to be available with a larger 8qt bowl which works much better with 6 oz prepacked corn.

This used to be a quality product, but no longer.
I used to live nearby a movie theater in NY, where I would walk to whenever I wanted to fill my popcorn craving; but I recently moved to Florida where my short little craving walks are no longer a possibility since the theaters are much further away. I was sad and deeply missing my popcorn treats, so I went on a search for a home popcorn maker and I came across this one to my wonderful luck! - After reading all the reviews, I knew that it was the one to try, and I am very glad that I did!
It's easy to use, easy to clean, and it makes a ton of fluffy popcorn!!!
I like to use the butter melter on top for added flavor, the trick is to add the butter once the corn is popping, so the butter will melt on top of it, and not before.
The cover turning into a bowl is amazingly convenient!

Just purchased my second set of this cookware last month, because I LOVED the first set so much. The first set still looks great after lots of use, so I wanted the same set to display in our new pot rack, and boy does it look great. I even got a rebate for a matching mixing bowls set (complete with lids). Great bonus.

My daughter in law also has a set of these and loves them as well.

You cannot go wrong with this product for the money. Highly recommended.
I got this set for Mother's Day, along with the 5.5 qt saute pan, and have been using it exclusively since. I love, love, love these pots and pans! They heat up evenly and quickly - sometimes too quickly, so be sure to monitor the heat setting you use. I've found that using a medium-low setting cooks just about everything beautifully. I've had no problems at all with sticking, just be sure to use some oil or butter. I wanted to get a set that is dishwasher safe, and these are, but they clean so easily that I've handwashed them every time. Hot, soapy water in the pan while we're eating is all I've ever done and they wash like a dream. Occasional heat marks, but a touch of Bon Ami or Barkeeper's Friend and they're gone. I plan on buying a few other pieces from this collection to completely meet my needs, and I'm buying the 17 pc set for my daughter.
Got these pots and pans on sale. Nothing like stainless steel coupled with aluminum, they work great. They're efficient at transferring heat. The number of each and sizing was just what I needed.

Very lovely set, washes up beautifully. Minimal discoloring in the bottom of one of the pans after a several uses but not too bad. Because of a previous review that I read, I won't be putting these in the dishwasher but with the wash up being so easy, I don't see any need to do that anyway. I've not had a problem with anything sticking with the use of a little olive oil. I am very pleased with this set.
I wish I had read more about these pots before I got them. They burn everything and the skillets have been stained black since the first time I used them. They are impossible to clean even with Barkeeper's Friend. Also, if you try to add anything to boiling water, the pot bubbles up and overflows immediately. I am throwing the entire 10-piece set in the garbage!

(A few things you need to know about this waffle iron)

PROS:

Cooks very fast!

Sturdy and heavy construction (especially when compared to the brands available at Target and Walmart).

Beeps when the waffle is done.

Nonstick finish actually works and seems very durable.

Small footprint and convenient cord wrap

Makes perfectly cooked waffles.

CON:

The printed "doneness" settings wear off very easily when wiping off the waffle maker.

just used this iron for the first time today...i used Bisquick and added vanilla and cinnamon..waffles turned out much better than expected!! no mess and PERFECLY DONE.. the iron is very sturdy and cooked the waffles evenly and crisp on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside...i couldnt imagine a better waffler...ill update after i cook couple hundred of theses tasty devils !!!
It cleans beautifully. But I tried the advertised settings of between 3 and 4 and it did not seem to be hot enough. I moved it up to 5 and that yielded better results. But still, I was able to make the waffle crispy only one side-- the bottom. The top remains soft and whitish. Still, everyone enjoyed the waffles. I hope somoeone can explain how they worked around this issue.

Alton Brown was right. This waffle maker makes great waffles! Light years better than those square waffle makers.
This is a super waffle iron, makes a beautiful Belgian waffle, and is stylish and easy to clean. That's what I was looking for. There are a few things you need to know about it though:

1. The instructions say you only need to coat or spray it once at the beginning of a batch of waffles. You actually need to spray it between each waffle or they will stick.

2. The instructions say to fill the bottom half of the iron with batter until all the peaks are covered. You do need to do this in order not to have holes in your waffle, but be careful not to put any more than just barely covering the peaks, or the batter will spill over a minute or two after you close it, as the waffle puffs up.

3. The printed lettering on the control panel started coming off the first time I used it. I think it may have been from the cooking spray, but then I wiped it with a wet paper towel, and the rest of it came off as easy as nail polish comes off. Granted, once you know how to use it, you don't really need the words "Waffle Tone," "Power," and "Ready" to tell you what the red and green lights mean, but that's really cheap printing. Plus some of the numbers on the darkness dial started to come off on that first use too, and will last maybe a few uses if I'm careful not to wipe them down.

the handles are perfect...your child will definately learn to hold on and eat, but the spoon itself...crappy! The food wont stay because is flat and depedning what your child is trying to eat, it will go through the wholes...I got another similar spoon but its actually a spoon and a fork with the same handle. My son loved it and learned to eat from it well!
i bought it for my 18 months old son ... he was learningself feeding but the prob with all the other toddler spoons was the straight handle . toddlers do not have enough wrist movement control and hence it is difficult for them to twist their wrist and feed themselves . this product is great, because it has a slightly angled handle my son could feed himself without spilling and with out getting frustrated .
i highly recommend this product for all the toddlers ....its a must buy
These spoons fit well in my grandson's hand. If they could just help him keep it right side up until he gets it in his mouth, we'd be in good shape. He can scoop up the food just fine with them.
These spoons are built tough and will probably take a good amount of use. The curve of the handle makes it easier for little ones to feed themselves. The bottoms of the spoons have little holes in them so not good for applesauce or other soft foods.
These are the best spoons I have tried thus far and I have tried them all. My son (18 mos) can feed himself much easier than with the others. The food stays on the spoon all the way to his mouth thanks to the little holes. I am very satisfied with this product.

So I bought this for one reason....make my wine taste better right after cracking open a bottle. Does it work?

Well I conducted a blind taste test with my friends. I poured one glass using the aerator and another without. One by one asked my friends which they preferred without them knowing which glass I provided them. They all quickly preferred the one without the use of the aerator. I've done this with other friends and different types of wine, and the consensus is better without.

This was shocking to me, but I also similarly agreed. I wouldn't consider myself the ultimate wine connoisseur, but there's a distinct enough difference in taste that has led everyone to prefer without the aerator.

When I do let the wine breathe for an hour before drinking, I do prefer it more then when it's consumed right after opening the bottle.

Maybe I have to let the wine breathe after using the aerator for 5 minutes before consuming. Well more testing is needed.

If I find a friend that does prefer it in the taste test.....Christmas might be coming a little sooner than he expected :)

I give it 1 star for now, but still going to test further. If I find some ultimate combination of using the aerator and letting it breathe for 10 minutes, I'll let you know and increase my star rating.

This was a gift for my mom and her husband and they absolutely love it! The crack hopefully won't turn into a problem later on.
Bought this for the wife as a birthday present. She didn't need it, but I can handle her better after she's had a few nips. I really don't enjoy wine, but this thing is exquisite looking. Would look very nice in anyone's bar. Comes with a little pouch to put in, or a base to hold it up for all to enjoy.
My Wife and I have been drinking red wine now for about 10mos. My wife has not become a wine snobe she's picky now.
