(Product is Great...Amazon Shipping and Customer Service Disappointing) 『I ordered these bowls to match with some items I already own. They are just what I expected...love them.
My issue is with Amazon. I wished I had read more reviews before I ordered. Other people have had problems with breakage during shipping. I ended up with a chip in a bowl. That means I can't use one of my 4-cup bowls in this set. When I wrote to Amazon explaining the situation, they referred to my un-usable bowl as "slight damage" and offered $3. The Amazon price to replace this bowl would be $7.99. Hardly seems fair. I tried to explain this in yet another e-mail, and the response I got from Amazon was to thank me and issue me the $3 to my account. My request was completely ignored. That is AWFUL customer service. I've been a great customer of Amazon...but with that kind of customer service, I will think twice about placing any future orders. I certainly will purchase my Pyrex items directly from Pyrex from now on.』
(fresh keepers--sturdy) 『I love pyrex bowls, have used them for years, they keep food fresh and are uniform, and classy』
(Great product, Great value, Great to use!) 『We love those bowls. They are easy to wash, easy to open and close, the lids fit snugly and securely (can hold liquid w/o leaks), the bowls are robust (pyrex) and the lids are also robust (i.e. won't crack in a year of usage).
Original reason for buying: eliminate plastic chemical leeching into our food. Unless you store your bowls upside down with food in it, the food does not touch any plastic.
I'm just ordering my second batch of 18 pieces to fully replace our zip-lock plastic food storage containers. I'll use them to store screws and nails instead :-) 』
(Clean and easy) 『I was looking for plastic storage containers when I found these and got them instead. The glass seems so much cleaner and I never worry about taking them out of the fridge and putting them directly into the microwave. Plus, unlike plastic ones, they look nice enough to put right on the table for serving. These are great!』 『Pyrex 18 piece storage set includes three 2 cup round storage containers with lids, two 7 cup round storage containers with lids, two 4 cup round storage containers with lids and two 1 cup round storage containers and lids』

Presto
Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Very Satisfied Customer) 『The Presto Pressure cooker was everything as advertised. This was my first time canning anything. The directions were clear and simple. I was impressed with the safety features. My only complaint is with myself. The pressure cooker is much larger than I need. If you are new to canning like I am, I would suggest you carefully evaluate how much canning you will do. Take into account storage both of the items that you can and also the pressure cooker itself. The price I paid was very fair and the pressure cooker works great so there are no complaints from me regarding this item.』
(easy to use) 『this is a very easy to use pressure canner, and was very good value for money at $85.
If you want to "put up" low acid foods, this is the canner for you!』
(Presto 23-Quart Aluminum Pressure Cooker/Canner) 『Excellent product, at a great price. Used to can lots of food for the winter.』
(Perfect canner) 『After 30 years my old Sears canner from my Mom had given up the ghost (or at least the seals). I wish I'd replaced it with one of these years ago. Tall enough to stack pint jars 2 high it's cut my processing time in half. Super easy clean up when using for cooking. If you need a new canner this is the one you should definitely get.』
(Great canner for the price) 『I got this specifically for canning, and have used it now to make pickles, apples, applesauce, applebutter, roasted peppers and am going to be doing squash next. It has worked great, it seems of good quality, but this is ENORMOUS! I don't think I really realized how big it would be. Due to it's size you have the advantage of being able to get the water deep enough to hold 2 tiers of pint cans for a boiling water bath (though getting an extra rack would make that easier), and it holds 7 quart jars as well. Thing is though that the 16 quart says it can hold 7 quart jars as well, and while probably it couldn't do 2 rows of pints as a boiling water bath, I bet it gets up to temperature alot faster and doesn't take up so much space. Those are really my only complaints with this, it takes quite a while to build up pressure and it is just so big I have no choice but to stick it in the room I keep my canned products, no room in my kitchen.
That said, before I bought this I had no idea you can use a pressure canner to cook. I tried using this to make a beef roast, and it was UNBELIEVABLE! In like 40 minutes I had beef that fell apart like I had roasted it all day, only it was juicier and the flavor was MUCH BETTER penetrated through, amazing! Of course the problem was clean up... it's just so big that it barely fits in my sink. I ended up finding an 8qt pressure cooker that I've been using since to do my day to day cooking with (and you can save money buying cheaper meats that will taste like you cooked them all day!) and I pull out this for the canning... though I am seriously considering doing my Thanksgiving turkey in this!! (I bet it will be good too).
This is I am finding out what is known as "first generation" for a pressure cooker, and it makes quite a bit of noise, but that doesn't bother me so much, those others are alot more $$ of of my pocket... I can handle a little noise, thank you. If what you want is a really big quality pressure canner that looks like it will probably last the rest of your life (with maybe a replacement gauge or seal or something along the way), this is a great choice for the money.』 『Holds 7 quarts, 20 pints or 24 1/2 pint jars. Features readable steam gauge for easy and accurate pressure control. Extra strong, warp-resistant aluminum construction provides fast, even heating. Doubles as a large capacity pressure cooker. Gleaming, polished finish for lasting beauty. Cooking/canning rack and complete instruction/recipe booklet. 23 Qt. capacity.』 『The USDA recommends pressure canning as the only safe method for low-acid foods such as vegetables, meats, and poultry. The Presto 23-quart pressure canner is more than adequate for any home canning needs. It's a professional-quality tool, made of heavy-duty aluminum, with stay-cool handles and a strong-lock steel lid. An accompanying rack fits down into the pot to keep jars up off the bottom, so that liquid can circulate underneath. And it can do double duty as a large pressure cooker. It's easy to cook healthfully with pressure cookers, since the food retains so much more of its nutrients and flavor.
The sturdy lid locks down during canning or cooking; an inner sealing ring keeps the steam in. In addition to a pop-up pressure indicator and a simple steam release mechanism, there is an overpressure plug that will let off steam if it builds up excessively. The pressure dial gauge gives an accurate reading so that pressure can be kept constant during canning. This pressure canner is also a cooker that's useful for weeknight dinners or for any meal that needs to come together quickly. An accompanying booklet contains more than 50 recipes, ranging from basic soup stocks to stews and pot roasts--even sweets like English Plum Pudding or Brown Bread! Tenderize lean cuts of beef or pork, or cook chicken, fish, or vegetables faster than you can in a microwave, and without losing moisture.
Nonabrasive cleansers are best for cleaning this aluminum pressure cooker, though occasional use of a fine metal polish will help the exterior keep its shine. The lid of the Presto 23-quart pressure canner is not immersible. In addition, the sealing ring should be removed after each use to allow cleaning of the inside rim of the lid. The dial gauge is delicate; detailed care instructions are found in the accompanying booklet. The vent pipe is simple to keep clean with a small brush or pipe cleaner, and both the air vent/cover lock and the overpressure plug are removable. The pressure cooker measures 14 inches in diameter (17 inches including handles) and 15-1/2 inches tall (including lid). Presto guarantees this pressure cooker with an extended 12-year warranty. A detailed instruction and recipe booklet is included; special safety issues that pertain to pressure cookers are clearly explained.--Garland Withers』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (CLEANING TIP) 『We love cooking with this. The plates are safe in the dishwasher and it grills meat perfectly. I clean it like this: While it is still to hot to handle plates, put one or two wet paper towels on the cooking surface and close it till it cools. Everything will just wipe off. I use a plastic scrub brush and usually put the plates in the dishwasher just to steralize.』
(Hot spots left me cold.) 『I bought this as an upgrade to a cheapo Foreman Grill. Looks nice but it's been a huge disappointment.
Essentially, the simple rectangular heating element combined with the very low mass (lightweight) plates create rather unfortunate hot spots along the perimeter. This takes all the convenience out of the design as you have to open it up and shuffle things around lest they be half cooked (or at least half browned.)
The Foreman grill, while certainly not perfect, at least had heavy enough grates to distribute the heat evenly and make acceptable looking food.
Boo.
』
(Griddle Function Does Not Work) 『I first bought a Griddler about 6 months ago from a discount warehouse store. Unfortunately, the unit would turn itself off when I used the griddle function. Although I'm not 100% positive, but I think the Griddler seemed to be overheating when it reached a certain temperature and would subsequently turn itself off. The grill function always worked perfectly. I explained what was happening to representatives from Cuisinart and I was told that the machine was defective. I returned the item to the store and was given a replacement. However, I have the same griddle problem with the new machine. While I love the grill function, the fact that the griddle does not work is a huge disappointment. I'm going to see if I can return the second Griddler, but at this point, I'm willing to cut my losses and buy a reversible griddle/grill pan. While Cuisinart had a wonderful concept for this device, I believe Cuisinart failed in execution.』
(Great Griddler/Grill) 『Easy to use and switch plates for grill or griddle; cleans up beautifully. Unit does not occupy much counter space. Like ability to control temp. I would recommend this product, especially if cooking for 2-4 people. Works even better than I had hoped.』
(Outstanding grill with understandable limitations) 『I am impressed with this grill and find it far superior to my old Foreman grill. The plates detach for cleaning and the top plate can press down at variable heights/angles to adjust to the height of whatever you have on the grill.
The temperature adjuster is a great feature to have and the grill heats up within 5 minutes to its maximum. I've been using it mainly for paninis and grilling.
On nonstick finishes: I have read some complaints about the nonstick finish and suspect some users are not quite aware of the limitations and proper care of nonstick cookware. In general, nonstick finishes are not so much "poorly designed" (as one reviewer puts it), they just have real life limitations no matter what brand you use. Even cast iron, fairly durable, has its own limitations. Be suspicious of complaint reviews that don't suggest a better alternative.
Nonstick surfaces show best longevity if oiled just before food is placed on them. Furthermore, temperatures above 500 degrees (around the max setting here) cause them to break down a bit. So don't grill something messy on these at max temperature if you want them to last. The nonstick finish on this is a little less potent than on some cookware I've used, but I suspect this is because of the higher grill temperature they are expected to endure (so users won't get flecks of Teflon on their food). I shouldn't have to say this but I will: You can't expect to use metal on nonstick surfaces (knives, scouring pads) and expect it to last. I've had this about 6 months and use it 2-3 times a week and the plates are still in great shape. Bread and sandwiches clean up easily. If I am going to cook something messy and don't want the hassle of cleanup, then sometimes I use aluminum foil. You still get a nice set of char marks. 』 『The Cuisinart Griddler makes "multifunctional" an understatement! Make perfect panini... plus! With four separate cooking options, it can handle everything from pancakes to sausages to grilled cheese to steaks, hamburgers and panini. It helps you prepare more servings of more kinds of food in less time, so you can cook for a crowd -- no one has to wait! Simply change the cooking plates and adjust the floating hinge to use the Griddler as a Contact Grill, a Panini Press, or your choice of an extra-large double Open Grill or Griddle.』 『A floating hinge and two sets of cooking plates turn this multifunctional unit into a contact grill, panini press, large open grill, or griddle. Made of brushed stainless steel, this four-in-one, space-saving appliance offers cooking options that range from pancakes, sausages, and grilled cheese to fish, hamburgers, and panini. Its floating hinge adjusts to the thickness of food, while adjustable temperature controls ensure food is cooked properly. The unit features a sturdy panini-style handle and convenient indicator lights, as well as nonstick grill and griddle plates that are removable, dishwasher-safe, and designed to drain grease away from food for healthier cooking. Two dishwasher-safe drip cups to collect grease are included, plus a dishwasher-safe scraping tool for easy cleanup. The unit measures 13 by 11-1/4 by 6-1/2 inches and carries a limited three-year warranty.--Catie Unger』

Came out of pocket when I was putting it on and slammed into concrete with considerable force. All it got was a little dent on bottom. Still works wonderfully! Ice cubes did not melt for 8 hours or more in almost 90 degrees. Would make a great gift for anyone who hikes, bicycles, or works outside in hot or cold temperatures.』
(The best ignored bottle on the market!) 『When you look for reviews of SS water bottles on Google, this one does not show up (much). Lemme tell you.......this one WORKS! Water kept cold without sweat. Very nice design, NO complaints and a great deal with the buy 3 get one free deal!』
(Worth the money and then some !!! Shall get PERFECT Bottle Award!!!) 『Kudos to Thermos for making such a wonderful product. I am writing this review after using two of these bottles for over one year! These bottles are to stay! The build is far far superior than any other hydration bottle in market (except other Thermos bottles which are equally good!). These DO NOT sweat no matter how cold liquid you pour in. Easy to clean with long bottle brush. The size is not meant for an easy carry on a quick jog, however it is more than perfect for long car rides or keeping handy in office next to you (avoid the water coolers. They are full of nasty stuff according to the Food Network Food Detectives!)
The feature I LOVE is the bottle cap. Hats off to the designer who thought of it. He/she deserves an accolade for that. The screw on/off lid is attached with a sturdy rubber strap to the neck. The cap screws on/off with an engineered 'play' so that the strap doesn't get twisted as you screw or unscrew the cap. The plastic neck and cap are very sturdy and have stood up to extensive use through more than a year. Another ingenious thing I must mention is the cap 'weight' and gentle 'locking' hinge mechanism - When you unscrew the top to sip the water the botle cap pushes the strap away and is gently locked at the hinge so that the cap doesn't fall and hit your nose. Smart!
』
(Sports Thermos thats simply the BEST) 『This is the very best sports bottle ever, we've purchased a number of different models, including past Thermos Brand, but nothing comes close to this one, keeps my ice tea as cold as my heart....brrrrrrr
the packing that Amazon sent these in is a whole different story the worst, zero protection in just over paper thin box, not good Amazon, shame』
(Well designed, keeps it cold!) 『Construction - The bottle is well constructed and does a good job of keeping liquid cold. Since it's stainless steel I even freeze the liquid overnight in the bottle so it melts throughout the day. Only do this on hot days though as sometimes it doesn't melt fast enough! I did this with an aluminum Sigg type bottle and the ice expanded and broke the bottle, so the steel construction is a big plus for me.
Design - very comfortable to handle, drink from and refill with liquid and ice cubes. The bottle is long though, I would have preferred to have a shorter fatter bottle so I could fit it into a small cooler, but the long slender design works well in a shoulder bag or knapsack.
Capacity - At 28 oz's it holds a good amount, but not enough for all day (less than a quart or a liter). You'll need to refill this or have an extra if you're out all day.』 『Thermos large, 26-ounce stainless steel hydration bottle is made with thermax double wall vacuum insulation for maximum temperature retention and is bpa free. Designed to keep drinks refreshingly cold for up to 18-hours. Made with unbreakable stainless steel interior and exterior, with a 'sweat-proof' design: it won't leave water rings. Twist off lid protects spouts from dirt and germs. 26-ounce capacity is ideal for water, iced tea, juices or sports drinks.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Terry's Tamper) 『Couldn't find one anywhere locally so I went to AMAZON.com and there it was. Good price and in two days I had it in my hands. Good job AMAZON.com.』
(Not 2".) 『The tamper was not 2" as stated, it is 5cm, which makes it a little bit smaller than what I need,
This of course means that I am not able to tamp down the edges without removing the tamper, and repositioning it towards the edge(s). Doing that often causes that which I have already pressed down to lossen up a little, so I must remove the tamper to reposition it very gingerly,
Seller should state that it is 5cm, and not 2"!
Now I have to look for another tamper.
Other than that somewhat annoying issue, I would be happy with this tamper.』
(Great kitchen tool.) 『I have a Mr. Coffee espresso maker (not sure about the model, but it's a pretty basic machine.) I measured the inside of the filter before buying this and it was about 53 mm - the small end of this tamper fits perfectly. I lost the plastic scoop that came with the machine and was using a spoon before purchasing this... never fully understood the importance of even tamping until I tried the difference. I have no experience with more expensive tampers, but what more could ask for? This is flat and smooth and sturdy... unless you're looking for a small work of art instead of a kitchen tool, this will suit just fine.』
(Good for the money) 『I think this is a good product for the money. I used for my Breville 800ESXL, and it fit just fine.』
(Not a tamper for you if you want the best tasting espresso.) 『Yes, 1 star! I would go less if I could. While yes, this could be a step up from the cheapo plastic tamps that arrive with your machine, it is a very small step, and in some cases a step backwards. I invite you to consider saving up a little longer and getting a better tamper. The "Rosewood" brand tampers are a knockoff of the industry standard Reg Barber, and are just over $20 here on Amazon. They are proof that you don't need to spend $70 if you are a home user that is not pulling hundreds of shots a day.
You really do need a tamper that is sized to properly fit your porta-filter, or your pulls WILL suffer. Measure the inside of the filter and buy accordingly. The pressurized water will go the path of least resistance, and if you tamper is too small, you will over extract the outside edge and under extract the middle. The result is a shot with little to no body and bitter. Did I mention bitter? A good tamper makes a HUGE difference.
Being flat on both ends makes this tamper very hard to use correctly. Getting a level tamp is very difficult.
Do yourself and your espresso a big favor and just walk away from this item. Search online for videos on how to properly tamp, and you will quickly see why this tamper is not a good choice, and learning all you can about the process will only improve your shots.』 『Designed by a professional barista, this tamper is made of heavy cast metal and compresses espresso like nobody's business.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (BUYER BEWARE - Worked for 11 months then quit) 『I bought this microwave in Jan 2009. It worked fine for 11 months then quit. It gave no notice of any issues, just suddenly developed a sharp buzzing rattle in the engine and stopped heating the food. From the other reviews, this is an issue with this model, so I would not suggest buying it.』
(Perfect for the office!) 『I recently moved into an office and needed a small microwave to reheat my meals and cook popcorn. Needless to say this product suits my needs completely!
Besides doing the standard reheating of my lunch that I bring, it cooks popcorn perfectly with the short cut button (one of BIGGEST pet peeves is the burned popcorn due to inaccurate popcorn settings!)
Conclusion: If you are looking for a great microwave for your dorm room or office, this is a great product, but if you want it for more heavy duty cooking for your home, then I'd probably look for something that's a little bigger and powerful』
(Stopped working after one year) 『I bought this microwave exactly one year ago. Two days ago it started making this horrible loud sound and does not cook food anymore. I have always taken good care of it, so I can't see any reason for this problem. It was not the most expensive microwave, but it wasn't cheap either! I would expect it last longer than one year!』
(flimsy door, sensitive latch) 『I originally looked at the white version of this model, and quite a few of the reviews said that their microwave arrived and would not function. I decided to take my chances and get a black one. When it arrived I was afraid I had gambled and lost, because it would accept a cooking time but we could never get it to start. Today I discovered that if you make sure the top and bottom latches are locked, and then press down on the door so that it is lined up with the body exactly, it will start.
I'm sure that the shielding is sufficient so that when the door is fully latched, the radiation is kept to a minimum, even if the plastic components allow for a little bit of give in the up and down direction. The motor of ours doesn't seem especially noisy, and for us it is the perfect balance of a small exterior and a sufficiently large interior. Once I get used to the ritual necessary for starting it, I believe I'll be quite happy with it.』
(Pretty good but not recommended if you have>2 people in your household) 『It doesn't light up when you pop the door open. That's my only complain. Overall, recommended.』 『The Carousel Sharp Microwave features Auto-Touch controls that are precise and easy to use. Short Cuts are a feature that make melting, softening and warming quick and simple! Taylor Thermometers
Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Great Features, but Short Life for Probe) 『I love this thermometer for the ease of programing and the rich features. I have bought several. I use them for baking bread and especially making sure that my turkey has not overcooked. However, the probe has a short life. A replacement unit states in the manual that it has a temperature limit of 395°F which explains why they have been failing. I will try keeping the oven temperature down and won't use the grill, maybe it will last longer.
I have found that wrapping the wire with a couple of layers of foil makes them last longer. Also, replacement probes are available from Taylor for a reasonable $5 each. Contact customer service through [...] for details.
Note that my Weber Grill probe did not last as long as these Taylor probes in the grill.』
(Better in a way.) 『I bought this thermometer to cook my thanksgiving diner. I have not done that yet. But, I'm sure it will work just fine. Considering when I turned it on it read 72 degrees in seconds (which is what I keep my home thermostat on)So, I don't think it will have any problems reading the temperature correctly. But,What I was disappointed about was my old thermometer had a place to wrap the cord around. Though the old on did not have a timer. I suppose I could have shopped around more. But, It will probably stay in drawer until next thanksgiving anyway. It does look nice and I love how it the display tilts.』
(Workhorse) 『I haven't used the probe enough to notice any failures with that---probably only ten uses, so far--but I love, love, love this timer, in general! I've had the same one for many years (could it be ten???) and it never fails us. The beep is loud and insistent (you can't miss it...in fact, your family members may take to yelling "BEEPER!" at each other, in an urgent effort at quelling the sound. Whoever is closest runs to the kitchen) and I rarely have to replace the battery.
It's a deal for what it does, too. I've never burned anything due to forgetfulness and inattention, since buying this timer.』
(Works well... until it breaks) 『Had this for 4 months before it stopped working. Changed the batteries, changed the probe - still doesn't work. I agree with other reviewers: it's too expensive for a disposable thermometer. Great idea, but poor execution.』
(Great Until It Stops working) 『I picked one of these up last Thanksgiving for the turkey and it worked wonderfully. It responded so fast that it I was able to use it almost like I would an instant read. And, unlike the Polder probe thermometers, there is an on-off switch you can use on this unit.
The bad news is that while it still works wonderfully as a probe thermometer, it is useless as a timer because it no longer can make any sounds. I use it solely as a back-up to my new Polder at this point, using it when I'm making two roasts at once or need to monitor two temperatures separately (such as white and dark meat of fowl).
If you don't plan to use it too often or only need it for the big holiday meals, it's worth saving a few bucks and choosing the Taylor. However, if you have need of a high-quality probe thermometer for long-term use, go with a different brand.』 『Professional combination thermometer with timer. 『Opening the oven to check on a food's temperature means wasting the cook's time and losing oven temperature and moisture--not to mention a face full of steam. This thermometer prevents those problems. Insert the instrument's 6-inch stainless-steel probe into a roast beef or turkey and monitor the time and temperature (from 32 to 392 degrees F) on the thermometer's large digital display, which connects to the probe with a 4-foot cord. Old Stone Oven
Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Arrived well packed and in one piece!) 『No problem with the stone arriving in one piece. The original packing from Old Stone Oven (made in USA) was a well fitted box inside another box filled with packing popcorn. This packing was tight and secure. This set of boxes was then placed inside a HUGE box by Amazon and filled with brown paper. The outer Amazon box was sealed with only one strip of clear tape down the middle seam and this was busted open due to the weight of the box. Amazon should have secured this outer box with more than one strip of tape. Also, the outer box likely didn't need to be so large and a more appropriate sized box would have made the shipment even more secure. The important point of shipping came from the manufacturer rather than Amazon. Amazon's added packaging simply ensured one more layer of protection which would have been better with more tape.
This stone is heavy! Nicely manufactured. No cracks, breaks, chips, or scratches to be found.』
(arrived broken) 『good looking stone, but arrived in two pieces. I hope I can get the one piece edition.』
(Solid performer for over 10 years!) 『I have had this stone for a long time. It went through a period of time with very little use, because I did not know how to use a pizza stone. PREHEAT, PREHEAT, PREHEAT! All pizza stones should be well preheated before use. I mean 20-30 minutes once the oven is hot. I use and IR thermometer to tell when mine is hot and I regularly get this stone to over 500 F. I make all my pizza dough from scratch and I never, ever use corn meal under my pizza and the pizza never sticks. If you can slide your pizza off a peel (or cardboard), then it should not stick to a properly heated stone. If you dough rips and hot cheese melts onto the stone, yes, that will stick.
This stone accumulates stains, but so what. I use a bench scraper to remove burnt on cheese and sauce. Mine is almost black, but it performs as well as it has for years. I have probably owned 3 other pizza stones before this one and most of those easily broke. I also own a different brand stone that fits on my Big Green Egg grill and can handle being placed over an open fire. I probably would not try that with this brand of stone, unless the manufacture states that as a use.
It seems to me from reading reviews here that the negative reviews are about Amazon shipping this thing like a book, and not like a piece of pottery.』
(a transformation) 『I have been making bread for several years but could never get a really great crispy, crunchy crust until now. This baking stone will transform your bread or pizza into an amazing crowd pleaser.I keep it in the center of the oven and place a shallow pan of water on the bottom shelf. The pan of water provides steam and the stone provide the brick oven style of baking without the expense.』
(love this stone.) 『This is a great stone, arrived perfectly in one piece, this same stone is rated number #1 by Cooks illustrated Test kitchen. It's a great price, and well worth the money. If you want to make some great Pizza, pair this with the Superpeel, a night and day difference between using a pan and stone. I get the oven hot, 500 degrees, no cracking problems. I preheat the oven to 500 for almost an hour to get the stone nice and hot, pizza cooks in about six minutes, finish it off under the brolier for a nice brown crust and perfectly melted cheese. yum.』 『A baking stone for home oven use reminiscent of the stone baking ovens of earlier times. Over 30 years ago the Old Stone Oven Company first introduced the baking store for home use and it is still the best. Thicker than other stones available, it has a porosity and heat retention that is perfect for a good crust. The Old Stone Oven Pizza Stone duplicates crispy pizzeria quality pizza - crust and all- in a standard kitchen oven. The Stone can also be used to bake bread, rolls and biscuits giving them a very special texture and quality or as a warming tray to keep waffles, pancakes, fried chicken, etc warm until ready to serve.』 『Professional pizza and traditional European bread ovens are often lined with stone or brick. This is so heat is stored up and redistributed evenly. The resulting blast of heat from the Old Stone Oven rectangular pizza stone gives bread and pizza a nice chewy crust. The rustic French tarts called galettes are also well suited to a baking stone. To use the stone, place it in a cold oven and preheat to 500 degrees for pizza, or according to the recipe for bread or galettes. The stone is made of the same material that lines blast furnaces and kilns, so it can handle ultra-high temperatures.
Wait until the baking stone is entirely cooled before attempting to clean it. Let it dry completely before using again. Some discoloration will occur over time; this is natural and will not affect baking. Using baking parchment may help delay that discoloration. Do not bake cookies, turnovers or other high-fat items on the stone; the stone would absorb the fat and proceed to produce smoke and bad odors. This little "gadget" works for ME...can I give it MORE then 5 stars?! Let's be real...this makes HOT CHOCOLATE! It's not a "multi-tasker"...it does ONE THING ONLY...but IF you LUV that one thing and drink it on a regular basis this is THE little "gadget" to have. Did I say it makes only one thing? Shame on me! Latte's anyone? Mexican coffee? ANY hot "whippy" beverage can be made using this machine. Clean up was not dreamy by any means but NOT HARD either. Hand wash and rinse....love the review where it says to turn on the Cocomotion to clean it....DUH? Why didn't I think of that? So...for my hubby and myself this is a keeper....we LOVE the drinking chocolate and I make my own but making hot chocolate is a no brainer anyway. By the way this DOES make it just the RIGHT temperature (IMHO) and makes ample froth. A nice mug and some whipped cream and ya got yourself a treat. ENJOY!』
(5 years and still kickin!) 『I've know had my coco-motion for either 4 or 5 years. (I can't recall definitively, but it's been a minimum of 4). I'm a bit of a hot cocoa fiend, so I drink it all the time once the weather starts to cool. I love that it mixes it and heats it at the same time. It heats it slightly hotter than I can drink, if I pour it immediately after it's done mixing, but that's really only a minor nitpick for me, as I usually make it as I'm getting ready for bed, and it cools for a few minutes anyway.
When I first got it, I was a little frustrated with the fact that you can't submerge it in water in order to clean it, however, I quickly figured out an easier way to clean it. Simply pour some water and a few drops of dish soap, and turn it on. Next, pour the water out in the sink, remove the spinner blade, and it easily wipes clean with a sponge. Rinse, and it's clean.
I wouldn't (and haven't) hesitate to recommend this product!』
(Great little machine for a great price) 『I totally enjoy my Cocomotion Hot Chocolate maker. It makes a quick and delicious mug (or two) in very little time at the perfect temp. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it is a little hard to clean since it is all one attached unit, aside from that I love it.』
(Love this so much, I bought a second!) 『This is by far the best idea I've ever found for whipping up hot cocoa in a jiffy. It comes out perfectly hot and blended. Never any lumps at all. And it takes literally no time. I've experimented with cappuccino mixes and even apple cider! This little machine is perfect for cold winter days in Michigan. It's great! I highly recommend it!』
(cocolicious) 『This machine works really nice! If there is a downfall it's the clean up, because the pitcher part cannot be removed, so you have to be more cautious when cleaning. But other than that it is very quiet and quick.』 『This is sooo easy! All you do is pour milk or water into the carafe, add chocolate powder or syrup, secure the lid, and push the "on" button. Cocomotion shuts off automatically when the cocoa is ready. And this is steamy, frothy rich cocoa too. Recipes for delicious treats like Hazelnut Cocoa and French Chocolate are included.』

(They work) 『The covers shown in the picture are not the ones I received. However they do fit my cleaner and they work well. They are thinner then the original mop covers I have but they still work fine. I use my steam mop 2 or 3 times per week and love it. These mop covers so far are doing the job and they have held up and come clean nicely.』
(Replacement pad) 『 Bought these when I bought my steam mop, just wanted to make sure I had extras, as I have large rooms and use all four when mopping.』
(good product) 『good product..they work well but as they age you will start to see streaks on the floor..』
