I'm in love with this mixer/chopper! Everyone should have one of these! With the exception of a crazy amount of splatter if you aren't careful and happen to be using a very wide bowl, this thing is awesome! I've used it to make guacamole, smoothies, refried beans, salsa, pancakes, and the list goes on.... I've found endless uses for this when I'm in the kitchen and the easy clean-up means that you'll be reaching for this before any other appliance.
We recently replaced our Cuisinart hand blender that lasted a year and half with the KitchenAid. I researched online for the one with the best ratings.

We use ours daily to make smoothies for breakfast, so it is put through its paces. I do like the fact that it has 9 speed settings, which allow you to slightly mash up to whip items. It has a more powerful motor than the Cuisinart and the mixing cup is 3 cups vs 2 cups with the Cuisinart.

This model also comes with a chopper and a whisk. We decided these were great additions to have as well and have come in handy with less cleanup than using a standard blender.

Unfortunately, this model has the same weak point as the Cuisinart. In the main body where the stick attaches, the piece that holds the stick and controls it is only made of a hard plastic. This is what broke on the Cuisinart, but we are hoping that it does not happen with the this one and that it last longer than a year and a half.
I have used this machine several times for tasks that I would have skipped with my big glass blender. The KitchenAid Immersion Blender hardly requires anything more than a quick rinse under the faucet and its ready to use for something else. My only wish is that it could be run at about half speed of the lowest setting for "muddling" and chopping soup ingredients without pureeing them.
I purchased the KitchenAid hand blender as a gift for my sister-in-law and used it for a week while visiting her. I have a Braun that I love and wanted to give her the same but they weren't available anywhere so I took a risk and bought her the KitchenAid hoping that it would be close. Well, I was very pleasantly surprised and impressed. The KitchenAid was actually a bit better. It has several speeds so I could easily grind up frozen parmesan and the containers were larger and nicer than my Braun stuff. I have to say I was initially very disappointed not to be able to find the Braun on the market but if I had to replace my own blender I would buy this exact KitchenAid product. It's excellent for blending soups, whipping cream, chopping veggies, etc. etc. It really makes so many cooking tasks easier.
I've had several hand blenders, and I really like using them. None of them, however, compare to the KitchenAid hand blender. It's solid, and it really has a lot of power. I love the adjustable speed setting--which the others I've used don't have--and I like the detachable pieces. The mixing beaker is much larger than the Braun's, and the nut chopping attachment is really large and solid; it's a mini food processor.

I've been making smoothies for myself almost every day, and it saves dragging the blender out and washing the blender jar, etc. I make food for my animals (cats and dog), and the hand blender helps chop up the meat and vegetables quickly and easily. All in all, this is a great appliance.

I have purchased many toaster oven/countertop ovens over the years. This is the best I have ever had. You will like it from the beginning. Quality, operation, cooking. It's worth every penny. Enjoy!
We have found the Cuisinart toaster-oven to be the best performing toaster oven we have ever owned, and we have had experience with a number of them from various manufacturers. In fact, I disposed of several that I had saved in a storage area after I purchased and had used the Cuisinart TOB-155 Toaster Oven. The Stainless and Black finish goes well with the other Black Appliances in our all white cabinet kitchen.
We all love this toaster oven esp. great for fish. Also since the hot weather is coming, for not heating up the kitchen when you need the oven.
A great buy. My older toaster oven did not toast to my liking so I took a chance on this one. This toaster oven has a setting for bagels which toasts a little longer. My older oven did not toast to the browness I liked unless I toasted twice. The oven is easy to use and it is large enough for small baking needs. It's a nice looking appliance especially since it sits on the counter top.
I researched toaster ovens several places - America's Test Kitchen, Consumer Reports, and Amazon reviews. We will be empty-nesters soon and I wanted an toaster oven big enough to use everyday instead of using my wall ovens for just the two of us. I'm very happy I decided on this oven. (I chose the black housing instead of stainless steel because I think it will be easier to keep clean.)

I set out to roast potatoes in my cast iron skillet (which fits in the Cuisinart toaster oven), so I set the oven to 375 degrees and started chopping shallots and garlic. The oven was hot before I could peel the first shallot. In my wall oven, preheating would have taken 20 minutes and the potatoes would take 45 minutes to bake. The potatoes took 20 minutes in this oven. Then I baked fish and it was done in a few minutes, too. Everything was browned and baked evenly.

I toasted a test slice of bread - prefect.

I had been leaning toward a Krups, but so glad I didn't. There was no prep before using like I read about with the Krups. Much less expensive and not nearly as many problems as Krups owners listed, either.

The only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is what so many reviewers said. The metal trim around the door gets HOT enough to burn. I'm keeping an oven mitt and tongs next to the oven.

I recently ordered the Haier toaster and expected it to be brand new. However, when it arrived there was definite evidence to the contrary, including the packaging was re-taped already on both ends, the cord to the toaster was unraveled, the box was beaten up and the plastic cover looked and smelled all but new. I contacted them via amazon and received a quick reply telling me that they were sorry and that I could send the toaster back and receive a full refund including shipping costs. I did as instructed but did not receive a refund for the costs it took to ship the toaster back to them. I was very much looking forward to this purchase and was very disappointed at the results. I have purchased new kitchen/electronic items online before, and new means new. It means I am the first person to open it, otherwise it's not new.

This toaster looks simple and is simple. I like that. It works just fine. It's not small, but not huge either. Medium-big in size. I'm glad I bought it.
I have a weakness for kitchen appliances, and had to try this toaster when I saw it. Of course, the demise of my old toaster is what got me started on the path to my new stainless steel Haier toaster. I love it! I love the way it looks and the way it performs.

If you are hesitant about buying from a third party on Amazon, do not worry. The seller gets this toaster to you so fast it will make your head spin!

By the way, though it is stainless steel, it does not weigh much at all. I am very pleased with my purchase.
I have had this toaster for less than a month. Already, the toaster handle will not stay latched down. Given another reviewer's experience with Haier's prohibitively-high shipping fees to invoke the warranty, this purchase appears to be a total loss.

While it was working, it did fine, although the slots are a bit short for longer bread slices.
I bought this toaster based on the positive reviews I read at the amazon.com site. I wanted something to replace my old toaster-oven, which browns unevenly. Unfortunately this toaster didn't solve the problem. With one slice of toast, the outer side of the toast was too pale if the inner side was browned correctly; if the outer side was toasted correctly, the inner side was almost burned. After a week of fiddling with the settings, I returned the toaster and will look for another brand. Maybe I just got a "bad appple" but I am not inclined to buy another Haier....

This grinder is loud, but that's my only complaint. For the money it delivers a great grind and has helped deliver coffee every morning since we got it! Dial in the grind you want and forget it and get a consistent cup every day. We previously had a Krups burr grinder that cost twice as much and died after 6 months.
This served us for a few months, but then the motor burned out. Even before the motor burned out, this grinder would give us a small electric shock whenever we used it. It's disappointing because I'm usually happy with Cuisinart products. Oh well.
The first one of these Cuisinart mills that I purchased quit working after just a few weeks. I wrote the company and they sent me a new one, after I sent the broken one back. I've had this replacement for about 10 months and now it has quit as well. The mill works great when it is working but for me it didn't last very long before it broke. I have written again to Cuisinart and it has been over a week and I have not gotten a response. I can only assume they are abandoning me with this burr mill that no longer works.
ODB had it right, because fresh out of the box this would not grind fine enough for espresso. But I went into the purchase knowing this downside, and a couple of paper shims later, I was able to accomplish a Turkish grind! Backed it off and now get consistent espresso sized grinds that far surpass any whirly blade grinder I have ever used. I have read the complaints about coffee dust, static due to the plastic receptacles, a pain to dump beans so you can switch flavors, yada yada. If you take this for what it is, a nice looking $50 burr grinder for those of us that can't or don't want to spend $200+, but still want better grinds than a blade type can offer, this is an awesome buy.
I ordered this grinder, and was very pleased with it for almost 1 year. Just before the warranty was up, it died. I called Cuisenart and they replaced it without a problem, (though I had to wait a very long time for the replacement). The replacement has now died as well, and I'm past the warranty, and out of luck. I'm sorry I threw out my old reliable grinder of 20 years. Don't bother with this grinder.

used as wedding gift because of the best deal as a set rather than purchased separately. The bride was inpressed with it. she had only asked for one of the pans.
When I received the pans, I couldn't believe what a fantastic value.
I do a lot of baking and have never had such great baking pans. I would highly recommend these pans even if you are just an occasional baker, they will make your baking experience a pleasurable one!
This set has been a stable part of my cooking experiences and will remain so for a long time. Some other brands are pretty doggone good but this set is just a step above and oh how clean they become with little elbow grease. Very little. I cooked up a whole mess of viddles and when it was time to clean the pans it was so easy. Moreover and probably the best: the goodies were absolutely great. My cooking skills had little to do with it. The pans made me look good. One small caveat, however. Should you use these make sure you adjust your cooking temperature down about 25 degrees because I have found that the dark color of the material will not reflect as well as a light colored metal. That way you will save a few pennies over the life of the set and help you pay for it. Right, as if you will ever know how much etc.

As soon as I finish this, it off to the Cart for payment for a new set that my sister will receive soon. I guess if it is good enough for my sis it is the best.
I bought these cause they were dishwasher safe, I figured if they were dishwasher safe they wouldnt rust, I have used only a couple of the pans and so far, NO rust. I'd recommend these pans to anyone who needs a GOOD starter set. I made a wise decision on this set!

I had one of these before and used it so much that it finally broke. This was exactly like the old one....it has great workmanship and holds up for years...plus makes great low fat popcorn.
I love this popcorn popper!! It was exactly what I was looking for. It does get pretty hot on the bottom so just be careful when you take it out. You might need to wait a couple minutes before setting it on your lap. :) It is great to make popcorn that is healthy and ready for seasoning, rather then microwave bagged popcorn!! I highly recommend it.
Works like a charm! I bought two...one for the office and one for home. I make air popped, pop corn in a flash with no oil...the Nordic Ware is durable and lightweight.
After using both the Presto popper and hot air poppers, this is the best. The kernels come out rich in flaver, unlike the hot air popper, and there are no extra items to buy, unlike the Presto popper.

Just pour some popcorn in, add a little oil (if you want) and microwave for four or so minutes. The results are terrific, and so is this product.

Watch out, though -- the Nordic Ware get really hot in the oven. Use potholders!
This popcorn popper is great! I had one like it 15 years ago, but lost it in a move and so bought this one. It's just as good, it is. The popcorn pops up fluffy and not dry. For diet popcorn I spray some PAM and sprinkle a little salt and it's like NO calories hardly! Once, I put too many popcorn kernels in it and it just kept popping, with the top raising up and holding the popcorn in--not spilling it in the microwave. I love it.

Took a couple tries to produce nice molds (get them bubbles out before freezing!), but well worth the effort. Makes for a memorable BBQ when you show up with a bottle of Jager and a dozen ice glasses!

Pros:
-Works great as a shot glass and you can make many of them for a more entertaining evening.
-Plenty of room between the bottom of the ice glass and the bottom of the inside liquid to prevent leakage.

Cons:
-Good only for a couple of shots
-Can't really set them down anywhere because they'll get the surfaces wet. Careful where you guests leave em.
-When opening the box initially, this thing STUNK with chemicals. Even after rinsing several times, smell didn't go away. I suggest making the shot glasses and popping them out after no more than 24 hours in the freezer. Just pop em out and flip em upside down in the freezer so no dust get's in.

Other items:
-They are kinda hard to pop out each one out but that's not really something big enough to be a con unless your making 100's of these.
I ordered this item last Friday and got it today, I like the fast shipment and delivery, but when I opened the packaging I found my mold to be slightly damaged, kind of like when you pinch rubber and it ends up ripping at the bend line, that is what I have on my item, I'm not happy with the damage, would have sent it back if I didn't have to pay for shipping. But all in all, it works really well, the molds spread out the temp. so it freezes at an equal pace and it was about frozen after 1 hour so, the concept makes sense.
These make a great addition to parties and celebrations. Very fun to show off and guests think they're very neat. Product quality was excellent.
What's cooler than a shot glass made of ice? Fill COOL SHOOTERS with water or your favorite juice, freeze, and then pop out four fully-formed frozen shot glasses. A great way to add a little nip to your favorite sip!

It is such a excellent product for the little price to pay. It's worth every penny of it. Quiet and does the job needed to get done! No complain for the product.
Had a Krups grinder for years until it broke. Tried a Burr grinder for awhile until I was tired of the mess it made during grinding. So I went back to what I knew worked best for me - the Krups grinder!
I bought the Krups GX4100 for grinding garam masala, an Indian spice mixture [...]. The spice is best prepared freshly, so buy it in whole form. The Krups GX4100 does an excellent job of reducing the various ingredients, which include chunks of cinnamon bark, bay leaves, peppercorns and seeds, to a coarse powder that can be directly added to food while it is cooking.
I bought this item to grind flax seeds and spices. It works great for that. I like the stainless steel construction. And, after a couple of weeks' use, it seems like it'll be pretty sturdy. One thing I don't like about it is the way the lid locks on. You have to put it on so that it's not quite lined up to lock down then twist it down into place. It took several minutes of finagling (technical word) to get the technique down because if you don't line it up just right it won't go on at all. Then, once you have it on, you make a slight twist to lock it into place.

Ironically, I had been thinking about getting a grinder like this for months, finally got around to it, then a couple of weeks later saw the Magic Bullet at our local warehouse club. I bought the Magic Bullet for around $50 and it does so much more than this grinder does. Had I had the Magic Bullet first, I would not have bought this. Not only does the Magic Bullet do a lot more tasks (acting as a blender as well as a grinder). But, it comes with multiple containers to grind in. And, the major advantage is that when you're grinding things like coffee, spices, flax seeds in this grinder when you dump them out, some inevitably get stuck under the blades. You can shake that out. But, with the Magic Bullet you actually screw the blades to the container. So, when you detach that from the motor, you remove the blades and pour straight from the container.
Wanted to occasionally grind my own beans and experience a freshness you can't get in packaged goods. My old grinder was worn out so I bought this one. Wow! Easy to use and does a great job grinding the beans. Fast too!

It makes lousy coffee. Plain and simple. After weeks of tweaking the number of scoops of coffee, switching from pre-ground to freshly ground beans,and upgrading to gourmet beans in a futile attempt to produce a good brew, my husband suggested we give up and go back to our old coffeemaker. Voila--we have terrific coffee again from a decrepit 15-year-old Mr. Coffee that cost less than half what I paid for this Cuisinart. In fairness, the Cuisinart is very nice looking. I also love the programmability and the thermal carafe. These are the features that attracted me to it. I just assumed that a non-cheap machine from a reputable brand would perform its basic intended function as well as having nice extras. Not so.
I am very particular about just about anything. But especially Coffee. I drink 4 - 6 / 12 - 16 oz's a day. I read almost every positive and negative review about this product. This coffee maker lives up to the positives. First, It looks great.

The only problem I had was figuring out how to set the clock. (you have to hold down the clock button until it blinks). Second, I did run water alone through it like the directions suggested to make sure it was clean and free of dust. There was no plastic smell at all.

Third, I decided to try the permanent filter even though I had a fear it would leave grounds. It does not leave any grounds in the coffee!. The only disadvantage is cleaning the filter. When you dump it in the trash only about half the grounds come out and you have to rinse the rest of them out in the sink. Not a deal breaker just an FYI.

Fourth, I put cream in my coffee. UPS delivered my coffee pot around 11 AM and my 11:30 I was having my first cup which was plenty hot. I made a full pot without using the 1-4 cup button. We then went out for the day and at 6:35 PM I decided to have a cup. Now I was assuming I would have to nuke it by then and was just curious how warm it would be. Now I can not stand luke warm or cold coffee, to me it is disgusting! at 6:35 with cream the coffee was still hot.

Now I know I just got it today but seriously for the money I do not think you can find a better coffee maker. Oh as far as the beeps. They ARE NOT crazy loud. Whoever said that is crazy. Also as far as the small marker on the side of the pot to tell the water intake and the small opening to pour water. Ok yes it is a little small. But I have always used a plastic pitcher that I bought at a store for [...] bucks and I have no problems pouring it in. as far as the marker goes, I actually look at it from the inside as I pour and I have not had any problems.

Lastly what I do love about it is that is does not leak at all when pouring. My old one leaked because I was trying to pour too fast. I do rinse the top of it to make sure the ball does not stick. Anyway so far so good. I would definitely recommend this product.
This machine works very well and makes very good coffee. We like the shape of the thermal carafe, but the lid comes off with some difficulty for old fingers. We don't think the water filter is necessary, but that's because we live in a town with wonderful water coming out of the tap. Of course, you don't have to use the water filter if you don't want to. Replacement charcoal filters are expensive. Very good machine.
I think this coffee maker is well made. The colors go with everything in my kitchen. It brews the coffee fast and very hot. The only things I dislike, is the five beeps when it is done brewing, I don't need an alert to tell me my coffee is done, and the beep seems to always wake my son. But I can live with that. I love it other wise, I would recommend this to everyone I know. Also, the coffee stays hot longer than four hours. Which is a plus but not really important.
Carafe resting plate and plate underneath unit are already grossly corroded and rusted in just six months.
Clean light will not go off even after multiple decalcification cleanings. I have to unplug the unit and let the stored memory die before it will go to normal.
water reservoir is awkward to fill, especally near full capacity.
Coffee is OK, nothing special.

I love my Ultraship! It's easy to use, has a tare feature, uses four different units to measure with and is very accurate. I had to buy the power cord seperately but that was no problem at all.
this scale works very well for many uses, i use mostly for the kitchen, appears to be very accurate and you can't beat the price.
Don't buy the adaptor, this comes with the adaptor. Someone had said you need it in the comments, but that's not true. Wasted money buying another adaptor only to have to return it.
The scale worked fine for a couple months, but then it inexplicably locked up and was unusable. The company refuses to answer its phone, and when I did finally get a hold of them via email, they wanted me to then pay to have it shipped, which would've cost me near 50% of the scale. I suggest buying a scale from a company with reputable customer service.
I purchased this scale new and got it in the mail yesterday. Opened the box and installed the scale per the instructions and even let the machine warm up before using it. Then I proceeded to weigh things. I must have gotten a dud, because it is inaccurate. I was grabbing things from the kitchen and even put some 5,10,20 lb dumb bells on it. All weights were wrong. I even tried the tare thing where it subtracts the weight of the container and just measures the liquid. Wrong again. Then I proceeded to zero the thing out with a 5 kg weight used to test accuracy of scales for businesses and the post office. So, I grabbed some more stuff that I knew the exact weight of and the scale disappointed me again.

This piece of crap is going back in the box for a refund. Luckily, Amazon is great about paying for return shipping if you have a defective item. I'm going to try my luck with a Digiweigh scale because they have good reviews and they include the AC adapter and batteries with their product.
