customer 's review
(Aero-Latte superb)

(Love it! Opens up a whole new world of coffee drinks at home)

(What a great little tool!)

(Works well if you prep correctly)

(Wheeeee)
This little gizmo is fantastic. My wife is addicted to Chai Tea Latte and it has saved our marriage as I am the one who "brews up" in the mornings.
My Mother-in-law and I share a love of coffee and love making our own concoctions at home. We recently had the following conversations.
Me: Do you or Father-in-law like frothy coffee drinks?
MIL: No.
Me: Ok, I just got a fabulous new toy and thought about getting you one too, but if you don't like frothy drinks, then you won't like it.
>MIL comes for visit and sees my cool looking Aerolatte in its stand sitting next to my beloved Keurig.<
MIL: Your drink looks and smells great. What is that?
Me: That's my new Aerolatte. I'm making a latte with warm milk and sugar maple coffee. Yum. I don't know how I ever lived without this amazing frother.
MIL: Hmmm...
>On the phone with MIL two days after she flew home from her visit with me.<
MIL: I'm on the search for the best mocha latte recipe.
Me [in a slightly accusatory tone with humor]: Why?? Oh-oh...You bought an Aerolatte, didn't you??!
MIL: Yes! I've already been to several stores and scoured the internet for the best deals and the best version and yours seems like the best out there so I bought one.

So, that's how I lost out on getting my MIL a killer gift and how the Aerolatte can make people realize they always wanted one without knowing it.

The facts: I've had it for about 3 weeks. Love how sturdy it feels in my hand. It gets multiple uses every day and I haven't changed the batteries in it yet. It froths up milk and half-n-half amazingly well. I can't tell I didn't get my drink from a fancy coffee shop. It's so simple and fast to use. Clean up is so easy, it's almost not worth mentioning. I love how frothed milk can make even bad coffee taste good (we have one at work and I use it all the time to mask the bad coffee). I'm really glad I got one with the stand. Otherwise, where would I put it? It would undoubtedly get mangled if stored in a drawer. Plus it's always ready to use and looks great in my "coffee nook." The only downside? My coffee intake has doubled since my Aerolatte arrived. It makes coffee a real treat.

I love my little frother! I really don't use it much for frothing milk for latte - I love soy lattes, but in my coffee at home I prefer Coffeemate liquid (sorry to all you purists but it just tastes good!) It, however, is great for mixing my protein powder drink/instant breakfast in the morning and for other things that don't combine easily just stirring with a spoon. And it doesn't take up much room on the counter.
This will provide you with thick firm milk foam or less firm with more liquid if you prefer. Make sure to heat the milk/cream (I use a combo of the two) for at least 20-30 sec. in microwave for quick heating. Keep milk vessel tipped at about 30 degree angle and place tip of frother in the deep corner where milk gathers after tipping. Keep batteries with good charge in them.
For ten years I have used a LaPavoni to froth the milk for my latte, but this is better and easier than the 'raditional' method. And, reasonably priced. I would recommend this to any latte lover who 'rolls their own'.
The original steam free milk frother from Aerolatte is now available in an attractive and durable stainless steel casing. The Aerolatte comes complete with a stainless steel stand to display next to your home coffee maker. Working directly in the mug or glass, the stylish Aerolatte milk frother takes just 20 seconds to turn a small amount of hot or cold milk into the perfect froth for cappuccinos, caffe lattes, mochas and specialty coffees as well as hot chocolates, malts and milk shakes. Two AA batteries are included. Experience Aerolatte!
Whip up an easy after-dinner cappuccino for guests with this steam-free frother with stand from Aerolatte. The frother foams skim, whole, and soy milk alike for fluffy hot café lattes or cold chocolate malts in seconds. (Frothing water-based powdered milk is not recommended.)

The frother features a sleek chrome body with a slender 18/8 stainless-steel whisk, designed for optimum foaming efficiency, and is compact for easy travel. Two installed AA batteries power the whisk as it froths milk up to 60 degrees C. For best results, turn on the frother with whisk placed near the base of the mug and slowly raise and lower the unit as foam develops. Foam forms in only 15 to 20 seconds. To avoid splatters, turn the frother off before removing from the beverage. The included chrome stand holds the frother secure while protecting the whisk wand with a sturdy, circular base and two sets of arms that fit snug around the frother body.

To clean the frother, run the whisk in hot soapy water and rinse. Wipe the body with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the frother in water or place in the dishwasher. Aerolatte offers a five-year guarantee against defective parts or craftsmanship for this product. The frother measures 8-3/4 inches long, and weighs 1 pound upon shipping.--Jessica Reuling

(Mary L)

(Exceeded my expectations!)

(Please Read This Before Purchasing This Item)

(Amazingly Works, but slow)

(excellent -- with one caveat)
The shaved ice is extremely fluffy and fine just as advertised...but positioning the top so the pressure switch is engaged is a challenge. Also, I have to press hard on the top to completely shave the ice disc. Makes a great snow cone if you do not mind a little work.
Tho, this item has a lotta great reviews, I was still somewhat skeptical about how well it would work. The results went beyond what I was hoping for! It's quick and effiecient ice shaving, just over sixty seconds is what it took for me to put together a nice refreshing treat. And the sound was no louder than that of a blender or cake mixer. I don't use it as often, nor do I expect it to last me forever, but at the price I got it for, I think it's a fair exchange.
Please consider other brands of ice shavers rather than this particular item. I have another brand at home and love it. I was purchasing one for the workplace for our staff. Instead of purchasing the type I had at home, I purchased this one since it was about seven dollars cheaper. BIG MISTAKE! First, look at the picture of the item. The two legs suspending the motor allow for only a very small bowel to collect the ice. (The one I have at home is suspended on one arm and allows for any size bowl.) Second, if you fill the receptacle with regular ice cubes, the motor does not have a way to sit squarely on top of the ice. It will only sit flat if you have used the tiny round cups provided to freeze two small circles of ice - not nearly enough ice for most purposes. Using regular cubes will require you to stand holding the motor/shaver in place as it shaves the ice, and it moves around in your hands! You do not need this hassle. Spend a few more dollars and get an ice shaver that does the work - not one that makes YOU work.
It is hard to get a snow maker that is shaved thinly like snow. This does it. But don't expect to make 20 or 30 of these for a large group. But if you plan on making just 1 or 2 it is fine.

Don't put too much ice in as it won't start (took me a bit trying to figure that out as I went to 4 plugs).

So for the price, it works.

Also make sure your cones aren't too tall as the clearance underneath is limited. You might even need to bend your cup a little at the bottom tip to fit it underneath.

Yumm!! This inexpensive, compact ice shaver works a treat and effortlessly offers up delicious fluffy shaved ice in a matter of seconds! You can either use the two included forms and fill them with whatever liquid you prefer, or you can just put ice cubes in the hopper (though ice shavings from the round forms are more fluffy). You can freeze liquids such as orange juice, root beer or kool-aid, or you can shave plain ice and add syrups later. This is a fine product and works like a dream.

The only problem is that the sharp blade inside the hopper is exposed and you need to be VERY careful when cleaning.

Make frozen treats for adults or kids with an ice shaver that uses ice cubes or special molds
On hot summer days nothing beats a scoop of snow--to eat! This delightful Snowman churns out bowlfuls of shaved ice in just seconds. Kids can slurp flavored sno-cones for a birthday party and adults can sip frozen daiquiris for evenings on the deck. Two 4-inch round plastic molds with lids are included for freezing water, syrup-flavored water, or fruit juices. Simply place the frozen round (regular ice cubes will work, too, but not as well) in the blade unit, cover with the motorized top, and press down on the palm-size operating button. A bowl placed underneath (not included) catches the instant snow. For safety the sharp blade is completely internal and not accessible to fingers when the Snowman is operating. The machine measures 13 inches high when assembled, with an 8-inch-square base. A one-year warranty covers the Snowman against defects.--Ann Bieri

(3 Strikes and Your Out!)

(Great coffee, excellent price)

(worst machine and worst customer service)

(Cuisinart Grind&Brew Coffeemaker)

(Disappointed)
My Cuisnart Grind and Brew imploded this morning! This is the tenth time it has happened with this machine and this is my third machine I've tried. There is a problem with the grind mechanism of this machine. This morning the grinder started to grind, but the basket popped out of the machine and proceed to spill a water/coffee mix all over my counter. Coffee grounds were every where. I have had this same problem with this same model two times before. I sent it back to Cuisnart, who promptly, replaced the machine both times. However, today I'm done. There is nothing worse than having to clean up a coffee mess before fighting rush hour traffic. I'm done with this model and I'm done with Cuisnart.
This is the second Cuisinart Grind and Brew I have owned, the first lasted over seven years. I like the auto program feature best, as the freshly ground coffee is ready when I get up each morning. The coffee is hotter in this model rather than the thermal pot. I would highly recommend this product to anyone in the market for a grind and brew machine.
this is by far the worst coffee maker!!! the grinder collects a lot of moisture while the water is heated up, so it's a complete mess to clean(you are expected to clean it after every use). then to top it all off, there was something malfunctioning with the one i got-all the hot water collected in the coffee bag and it leaked around the coffee maker and not in the mug provided. when i tried to open it, the hot water spilled all over my hand. when i called customer service, they kept saying i didn't follow the instructions and that's a complete lie- i followed it all the way. the company was ACE PHOTO- NEVER, EVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!
This is an excellent coffeemaker - very easy to use and to clean, and it makes delicious coffee.
I was given this coffee maker as a gift, but I have returned it. (Thank goodness for gift receipts.) I'll probably buy a Zojirushi instead. The Cuisinart made good coffee but was too difficult to use.

Problem #1: It was difficult to put the right amount of water into it. The coffee maker has no water level indicator on the outside so I had to stand on my toes to peer down into the dark water reservoir and squint at the water level markers down inside. This was not a problem with my previous coffee maker because it had a glass carafe with graduated marks on the side but that obviously isn't possible with the steel carafe that comes with this Cuisinart.

Problem #2: It was extremely noisy. When the grinder goes on it sounds so loud its literally scary. I thought the thing was going to shake itself to pieces.

Problem #3: It is hellishly difficult to keep it clean. Every time we brewed coffee the grinder would fill with condensation. If we brewed another pot the grounds would stick to the condensation and make a gooey mess. The Cuisinart has a large number of pieces, all of which have lots of little hard to reach areas that filled with coffee dust. The only way to get the dust out was to roll a paper towel into a point and jab it down into the crevices. I brewed two pots of coffee, cleaned the machine twice and that was enough. I returned it the next day.

The Grind&Brew Coffeemaker from Cuisinart automatically grinds the beans right before brewing to produce a fresh and flavorful pot of coffee. Fully programmable with a stainless finish, this deluxe 12 cup coffeemaker will be right at home in any modern kitchen!

(Butter Keeper)

(Butter keeper)

(What a concept, spreadable butter!)

(Nice way to keep butter soft and tasty!)

(Here's a tip)
This butter keeper works fine. I noticed a crack in the glaze when I washed it before using it and it's very hard to see unless the crock is wet. The other one I purchased at a kitchen store seems to be more heavy duty but both keep butter soft like it is intended to do. For the price it works just fine!
This is fabulous! We love always having soft butter. It stays fresh longer than it takes for us to eat it up and holds 1/4 pound at a time.
This little butter keeper does exactly what it is supposed to - keep butter at room temperature, without air spoiling the butter. We've used ours for about a month and I continue to be pleased with it.

Just let your butter get soft enough to mold it, then pack it into the bell-shaped holder - I use the rounded bowl of a spoon to smoosh the butter down. Put about 1/4 inch of water into the bottom, insert the bell, put it on the counter, and you're set. Today, we are going to see 90+ degrees, so our butter is going into the fridge.

Try it - You'll like it!

I got this little do-hicky on a whim, but I am so glad I did! No more rancid butter while trying to keep it soft! I lined the inside with plastic wrap and filled it with fresh, soft butter. Then I wrapped the butter in the plastic wrap and have 5 more like it waiting in the fridge all ready to pop right into the crock when needed. It holds 1 stick of butter. VERY NEATO-BEATO
This works great if you follow the directions for changing the water every 3 days. I keep a bottle of cold water in the fridge just for this purpose. Also, at the beginning you have to soften the butter to get it in the keeper, then put it back in the fridge to harden back up. I didn't do this and I had the same problem as a previous reviewer where the butter ended up in the water. Once I hardened it up in the fridge and used cold water in the bottom I haven't had that problem.
Nor Pro Butter Keeper. 4"x3.5" Butter stays fresh for up to 30 days without refrigeration! Water seals out air keeping butter soft, sweet and spreadable.
Butter stored in the fridge tastes like leftovers and tears up your toast, while butter stored on the counter spreads easily but goes rancid in days. What to do? Norpro has the answer. Simply pack the Norpro Butter Keeper’s inverted lid with softened butter, put an inch or so of cool water in the base, and invert the lid on top. Water makes an airtight seal between lid and base, keeping butter soft, sweet, and spreadable for up to 30 days without refrigeration. (You’ll need to replace the water every few days.)Looking equally at home on the counter or at the table, this ceramic crock features delicate blue bands and a handle on top. It measures four inches in diameter by 3-1/2 inches tall, and is completely dishwasher-safe.--Mary Park

(Long and tapered rolling pin)

(Rolling Pin)

(Does the job!)

(Favorite Style)

(A wonderful deal!)
This is a good quality rolling pin for smaller tasks, such as making dumplings, tortillas, etc.
I love this rolling pin, I use it for so many things; rolling out pastry, pizza dough, smashing almonds, walnuts. The possibilities are endless.
This rolling pin is much better than the traditional large cylinder type. It is lighter and allows for more even rolling of the dough due to the shape. With the middle being thicker, it helps to push the dough out toward the edges and the tapered ends even out the thickness.
The Vic Firth French Rolling Pin quickly became my favorite tool for rolling out doughs, especially pie crusts.
For more than 40 years, I used a standard style pin with ball bearings and hand-holds on each end. The Vic Firth rolling pin is lighter and easier to handle; making it faster to turn out the exact thickness of dough needed. Why did I not purchase one sooner??????????

This rolling pin is very well-made and feels great to use. Vic Firth wood working is top of the line, and this is another example. This rolling pin works well for making pizza crusts, french bread, almost anything. Highly recommended!
Vic Firth's Bakery pin is crafted in solid rock maple for beauty and substance and is designed for those who prefer that one-piece construction
Rolling out proper pie crusts that are both tender and flaky is a snap with this pin. Tapered from the middle to both ends, it rolls out dough thinly by pushing it from the middle. And it rotates easily around the dough for making perfect circles--a virtue for pizzas, also. It's unfinished so that, over time, flour penetrates the wood's pores--making the pin less sticky than finished pins.--Fred Brack

(Best cookie/biscuit cutter I have ever had)

(Quality multi-use item.)

(Great product, does exactly what it says.)

(Absolutely ideal)

(Fun and lots of selection!)
I make a lot of cookies, biscuits and scones and this is perfect I'm probably going to buy the other versions of this set since it worked out so good. It stores in a really small place and is built to last.
Quality product.

sturdy construction that does not buckle like ordinary cooking cutters you would find in the baking section. Really convenient that it comes in a nice round tin that holds them all. I don't really use them for baking, I use them for plating designs etc. but they do work very well for what they were intended. Also works well for making round raviolis or cutting circles out of any type of dough. Can't be happier.

Nice case, stainless steel cutters, plenty of sizes. What more can you want for the price? It's cheaper than plastic at the chain stores.
I bake a lot of cookies. My mother baked a lot of cookies as did both of my grandmothers. I have every cutter these three women ever owned and an additional collection that seems to breed and grow in my kitchen drawers...each time I open them, there seems to be more. I purchased these graduated cutters sometime ago and I must say they get quite a work out. They are absolutely ideal for my needs. I bake a lot for friends, groups and clubs and have constant orders for various sizes. These work perfectly. They have a very nice keen edge to them and store well. As has been pointed out, they do rust so I always make sure they are well washed and well dried. A very, very thin coat of olive oil helps which is washed off each time I use them helps a lot. The price on this set is great. I paid almost three times the amount offered here for my set. I am delighted with mine.
I saw that Alton Brown from the Food Network used these on one of his shows when he made doughnuts one time. After that I had to have them! I have used them several times already and can be used with anything pastry. Lots of size options, great storage and just fun to use! Buy it, I know you'll love it!

(Great Performance, Great Price)

(Glad to finally have a great cookware set!)

(Stainless Steel = Rust?)

(cuisinart cookware)

(Happy with purchase)
I've had this set for about a year. My set was made in China. Used daily, and frequently entertain parties of 20+. I've used All Clad, etc. Cuisinart Multiclad is an EXCELLENT product. Performance is nothing short of terrific. I've had ZERO problems and highly recommend this set. For those new to stainless pans, follow the easy care instructions. There are good tips in other reviewers posts here (barkeepers friend, moderate/low heat, acidic foods should not set in the pans, etc.) Enjoy!
I have purchased several different brands and styles of tephlon cookware over the past few years. I am so excited about this new set of Stainless Steel cookware! I have had them about a month now and I really enjoy cooking with them! I am still trying to get used to using Stainless Steel fry pans, but I'm getting the hang of it.

I highly recommend these pans. I am looking forward to owning these for many, many years! They have a nice feel, clean up quickly and easily, and are quite hefty pans.

I purchased this product based on the positive reviews I found on Amazon and elsewhere. My previous set of cookware was Anolon non-stick. It lasted about 6 years and I was generally pretty happy with it but I decided I wanted stainless. I originally purchased a set of All-Clad but returned it after I discovered Cuisinart Multiclad Pro at 1/3 the price. However, now that these pots are rusting I am second guessing my decision.

When the set first arrived the cookware seemed somewhat lighter than All-Clad but otherwise looked great. The first time I tried to boil water I noticed it took much longer, and I had to use a higher heat, than with my Anolon. I was a bit perplexed by this since everything in the Cuisinart instructions says to use a lower heat since it conducts so well. Apparently high heat will stain/discolor any stainless steel. But if the water won't boil the only thing to do is crank up the heat.

Other than the heating problem I have had some issues with sticking. I am sure some of this has to do that I am a novice when it comes to cooking with stainless. I am pre-heating the pan so that is not the problem. I am also experiencing a white, chalky residue in the bottom/sides of these pans. I am not sure if this has to do with the hard water in my area, the types of foods I am cooking (starchy pastas, potatoes, etc) or what. But I find myself having to frequently bust out the BKF (Bar Keepers Friend) to keep them looking clean. I guess the reality is that stainless is never going to be as easy to clean as non-stick.

However, the biggest problem I am having with this cookware is that the lids have started rusting. Most of the rust is contained to the lid handle and the area where the handle is riveted to the lid. The only logical explanation for this is that the lid is not 100% 18/10 stainless steel. I have found at least one other online reviewer who described this exact same problem. Apparently these pots used to be made in Korea but my set was made in China. I can only assume that the quality has gone down considerably in recent years vs. when the bulk of the positive reviews were written.

There is a lifetime warranty on the set so I am going to contact Cuisinart this week to see what they will do for me. If you are in the market for high-quality, lower cost stainless steel cookware you might want to try an alternative like Tramontina.

I liked the cookware set. It cooks meat well. Scrambled eggs tend to stick if you do not use enough oil in the pan. All in all I would recomend it to my friends. I think the price is real good for the quality of the product.
After reading the concerns with nonstick (I guess I'm a little behind on news!), I decided to switch to SS. So far, I've been very happy with my decision, and extremely happy with the quality of the product. It does take a little getting used to. I found that it does make a big difference immediately after cooking, to remove the food and rinse the pan or soak if needed. I have a gas burner and must keep on medium low or low. The handles do tend to get hot if I'm cooking for a long time, but have now ordered a 5.5 quart to add to my collection! I would definitely recommend this set.
For the Consumer who wants premium quality and performance at a fraction of the cost of competitive cookware! 18/10 Stainless Steel Exterior professional brushed finish, easy maintenance and clean-up.
Elegant and contemporary, the Multiclad Pro line from Cuisinart consists of deluxe cookware for the professional home chef. The exteriors of the 18/10 stainless steel pots and pans feature a handsome brushed finish, while the interiors are mirror-polished for non-reactive, quick release of foods. The tri-ply Heat Surround technology sandwiches an aluminum core in the base and side walls for superior, even heating. You'll also find solid cast stainless-steel handles that stay cool on the stovetop, tight-fitting stainless-steel lids, and drip-free pouring rims. Each piece is oven-safe to 500 degrees F, and the pans are safe for broiler-use, too.

This fabulous set consists of basics and more. The 1-1/2- and 3-quart saucepans with lids take care of everything from oatmeal to béchamel sauce, and the veggie steamer insert with its own lid fits the larger saucepan. Also included are 8- and 10-inch open skillets that turn out perfect grilled cheese, hamburgers, and crepes; 3-1/2-quart covered sauté pan with a helper handle, great for braising meats and cooking fish fillets; and an 8-quart covered stockpot for stews and soups. Dishwasher-safe, this set has no coatings to flake off or plastic to melt, and will surely be passed down to the next generation. Cuisinart covers the Multiclad Pro set with a lifetime limited warranty against defects.--Ann Bieri

(Cuts through seeds like they were nothing)

(Excellent)

(Great Gift)

(Victorinox 10-1/4 inch Bread knife)

(Love It)
I know this is a bread knife, but I use it on fruit more than anything else. Simply drag it slowly across the fruit or vegetable (which is a tomato anyway?) and very little effort is required. You may be surprised to discover that you sliced cleanly through several apple seeds without even noticing! Just be careful to keep your finger out of its path, because you probably wouldn't feel a thing.
This is a great knife! I use it for a lot more than just cutting bread, which it does exceptionally well. It slices without crushing the loaves, especially crusty French and Italian style breads. I highly recommend this knife. I expect to buy more knives made by Victorinox now that I know how well this one works.
I purchased this knife for my brother as a birthday gift and he loved it. The length and weight of the knife are good. He is usually one who loves expensive knives but he couldn't tell that this knife was probably the least expensive knife in his drawer.
Absolutely think this is the best knife, always had a problem with the bottom crust and this slices right through it.
I'm a very casual cook, and I absolutely love the Victorinox Break Knife. It works fabulously on baguettes, bagels, rolls, anything requiring a serrated blade. I'm especially pleased with the quality given the relatively inexpensive price. I would recommend to anyone who appreciates effortlessly slicing bagels in half.
The R H Forschner by Victorinox Curved Blade Bread Knife features an 10.25-inch wavy-edge blade that is 1.25-inches wide at the handle. High carbon, stainless steel blade is hand finished at Victorinox in Switzerland by skilled craftsmen. A special tempering process is used to produce an edge that can be resharpened over and over again, so the knife can keep its original sharpness throughout the entire life of the blade.

(Not so good for us)

(Cusinart's soft serve ice cream maker)

(love Cuisinart but not this model)

(Works Like a Charm!)

(Was weary from some of the reviews but glad I gave it a chance!)
We had a hard time getting good solid(Not Runny) Ice Cream. We tried several times and finally ended up returning the item for a refund. Thank goodness we bought this through Amazon, so we had no issues getting our refund.
This is the best soft serve ice cream maker ever! It worked great the first time and I am excited to try it again. The ice cream tastes much better when it was just dispensed, not after scooping it out and saving it for the next day. (about 12 hours of being in the freezer and not in the machine after use it turns in to regular hard ice cream.) The Cuisinart Ice-45 Mix-It-In Soft-Serve 1-1/2-Quart Ice-Cream Maker is the best machine ever!
It makes good ice cream but won't dispense unless the ice cream is just the right consistency. Too thick and you have to scoop. We never could get the sprinkles dispenser to work. After making 3 batches of ice cream we only got about 3 or 4 cones and had to scoop the rest. I took it back and got the 2 qt Cuisinart from Sams for $59. My daughter bought the 1 1/2 qt ICE-20 model for $49 and loves it. They all make great ice cream but why pay more for bells and whistles that don't work very well.
Our family absolutely loves this machine!

The pros are the easy set-up, simple recipe book and the clean-up. The cons are the bulk of the unit and the size of the mixing bowl. There's definitely enough for say, a family of five to get more than enough ice cream, but if you're wanting to use it for a party you'll definitely need more than one bowl.

As others have mentioned, the key to getting this to work is ensuring the mixing bowl is frozen solid and that the liquid ingredients for your ice cream mix are as cold as you can get them short of freezing. I have to say that no matter what I've tried, I can't get ice cream ready to serve in 20 minutes.

If I may, I'd like to make a suggestion that has worked very well for me. When I'm making ice cream, I pour half of the liquid ingredients into the mixing bowl. I put the other half in the freezer.

When the mix in the machine reaches the consistency of cake batter (usually in about ten minutes), I add the second half of the liquid. I let it run for another 20 minutes and voila! For the family members who like their ice cream a little firmer, 10 more minutes usually does the job. I don't know if this will work for you, but give it a shot.

I hope this review helped and that you have as much fun with this machine as our family has! It was definitely a worthwhile purchase.

I almost didn't buy this because of some the reviews but I'm so glad I didn't listen to them and bought it anyways. I've been using it regularly to make carb-a-whey (a diet low carb mix) ice cream and it works great every time. I've managed to get two batches with just one freezing of the bowl by mixing my ingredients before hand and putting them in the fridge overnight too. Double the ice cream fun :) Takes about 15 minutes if ingredients are cold, but as long as 40 minutes if they are warm and there's a lot of them.

I've also made frozen yogurt 3-4 times and it's worked great for me every time! The recipe was good to and I even modified it a bit and it still worked. Give this machine a chance. Let the bowl freeze overnight, and if you want even better results, keep your ingredients cool!

Professional-quality soft serve ice cream, yogurt, sorbet and sherbet is now available right at home, with the Cuisinart Mix It in Soft Serve Ice Cream Maker. Not only does it make everyone's favorites, but with three built-in condiment dispensers, it makes them extra delicious! Just a pull of a tab send sprinkles, chips and other mix-ins down the chute to mix right into frozen desserts as cones or bowls are filled. Operation is fully automatic; simply pour in the ingredients and turn the dial!
