(Tomato/Bagel Knife)

(Victorinox Knife 4-1/2 inch)

(free!)

(Great for tomatoes)

(ANOTHER EXCELLENT AMAZON PURCHASE.)
FABULOUS!!! i have bought six of these knives since buying the first. it is SHARP -- i urge extreme caution in handling it -- but it does all the work for you with virtually no effort on your part. an EXCELLENT knife. throw all the others out and keep just a few of these!
Awesome knife. Cuts thru anything, even fingernails. Thin slices so easily! Highly recommended.
What's not to like about this knife? It's a great size for large paring jobs, slicing small breads like a roll, bagel, or baguette, hard cheeses, fruits and veggies, even meats and fish, great steak knife if you need an extra, cutting a sandwich in half, pretty much anything. Best of all, it was free because I bought over $50 worth of other Victorinox knives! I purchased 8 other Victorinox knives at the same time, and I'd say that, ironically, this free one is the one I use most often so far.
This knife can cut tomatoes into very thin slices. No more mushy tomatoes for sandwiches. It also cuts bagel very well. I find myself picking this knife for a lot of my slicing needs.
I love good quality knives, but had never found one that satisfied me for slicing tomatoes. This is the answer. The special cutting blade cuts through tomatoes like butter only better. I do not have a problem with the lessor expensive handle. I am certain it will last indefinitely. Only time will tell how long the blade will keep it's wonderful edge. I think a very long, long time based on what I have perceived so far about it's quality. I highly recommend this little jewel. If you cut tomatoes, you will love this.
For 125-Year Victorinox cutlery has been an expression of the Victorinox philosophy: flawless quality combined with great reliability. A gift to you, this limited edition 4.5-inch Tomato/Bagel knife is produced in celebration of their 125th Anniversary with the blade etched with the words: 125-Years your companion for life and "Thank You" in eight languages. The Victorinox 4.5-inch Tomato/Bagel knife features high carbon, stainless steel blade, hand finished at Victorinox in Switzerland by skilled craftsmen. A special tempering process is used to produce an edge that can be resharpened over and over again, so the knife can keep its original sharpness throughout the entire life of the blade. Victorinox handles are ergonomically designed to minimize wrist tension. They provide a natural fit. A good heft and comfortable, positive grip are indications of a well-made knife. A sure-grip handle with a finger guard is valuable feature since the handle inevitably gets greasy, wet, or both. Although cutlery steel is naturally sanitary, materials and construction details of the handle minimize crevices what would offer hospitality to bacteria.

(best bunn)

(ever thing I expected , and delivery was outstanding)

(Used to be a good product)

(good coffee)

(Best Coffee Pot EVER)
This unit replaced an older model bunn with many years of reliable service and by far it exceeds my expectations. I especially like the fact that you don't need a separate measuring container.
Coffe Pot is everything that I heard about Bunn Products , the service and delivery was outstanding.
Have used a Bunn machine for the last 20 years, but quality has really gone downhill.

This is our 3rd machine. The skunky, plastic odor has been overwhelming (and I have a large open kitchen!). We thought it would subside with time, but after a month, it's still pretty bad.

We're using a Capresso burr grinder to grind our own beans, and no matter what grind, we can't seem to get a decent cup of coffee with this Bunn model. Don't know if it's heating the water hot enough, or too hot.

If we try to make a strong pot of coffee, the basket overflows. We are using the taller Bunn filters too.

The machine is mostly plastic, and doesn't seem to be put together very well...kinda crooked, cheap.

Previous machines have been better quality, and made great coffee. Don't know what's wrong with this one, but we're not happy with it.

Gift for my husband who gets up early and loves the coffee from this new Bunn pot....worth the money!
I bought my first Bunn 10 years ago. It just got replaced with this new one. I love a Bunn because it makes coffee (or water for hot tea) so quickly. The flavor is even better with this new one, and it uses less coffee than the old one did. I also love that you are able to use tap water, even if it has that "chlorine taste" that nobody likes. A Bunn keeps a pot of hot water in reserve (that is why it is so fast!) and as it keeps the water warm I guess the chlorine evaporates, or perhaps it just magically disappears, but however it works, it works. So thanks Bunn for your assistance in me being able to brew the best cup of coffee in the world!
Nothing brews like a Bunn! Using coffee brewing technology perfected in over 40 years of service to the restaurant industry, Bunn has built the perfect home brewing system. Bunn's unique reservoir-style unit brews up to 10 cups (50-oz) of coffee in just 3 minutes --- and keeps hot water available for tea or other uses, as you need it. This Canada.-assembled unit features the Contemporary Bunn home brewer design, is constructed of commercially-rated materials with stainless steel accents and comes complete with an internal stainless steel water tank and a durable glass decanter. The built-in warming plate helps keep brewed coffee at the optimal serving temperature for hours. A 3-year limited warranty helps ensure satisfaction.

(Save your money)

(Quick Breakfast)

(Great egg&muffin toaster!)

(This thing gave me wood!)

(Our newest family friend!!)
We purchased this item in March 2009. This is now July and the toaster has been replaced. We only paid $28.00 for it and that was too much.
The toaster worked wonderful for about a month. One day I went to toast some English muffins and make 2 eggs. I heard the toast pop up, the eggs were uncooked. The blue light was flashing for the egg feature. I went back to using the microwave for the eggs. This is when I noticed the toast would come out dark. More on this later.
A few days later I tried the toast/egg feature again. It worked for maybe a week, then went back to toast with no eggs. Apparently one has to make the correct sacrifices to the various deities for this thing to work. Eggs would be a hit and miss every day.
The toaster. If the egg feature works then you will have toast. Not well toasted but you do get toast. If however the egg feature decides not to work or you do not want eggs then you will have burnt offerings. Even at the lowest setting the toast would be well done. What I think is happening is poor design on the power controller. With eggs selected most of the power is diverted from the toaster section to the egg area (water boils almost instantly), but when the egg section fails or is not selected then 100% of the power is now available to the toaster area. Short answer, burned toast.
Being that I only paid $28.00 for the unit it was not worth my time and effort to send it back for repair. I had also thought of doing a failure analysis on it but I was not really that interested in spending that much time on a toaster. In the end I purchased a $35.00 toaster that does a wonderful job of making toast, the eggs are done in the microwave. Save your money and purchase a toaster for just toast.

js

Excellent toaster. Makes quick breakfasts. I love broiling eggs and having them on toast. Also a quick and easy way to hard boil eggs. Have not had any problems.
I had never heard of this before I started shopping for a toaster after my last one died recently. I have been fixing poached eggs for myself for a while, since they're such a good source of protein, but it was such a messy cleanup job. I'm thrilled with this new toaster! Even my daughter likes having boiled and poached eggs made in this toaster. I make poached egg sandwiches almost every day with this and it makes them uniformly every time! I just wish that you could toast something separately while the eggs were cooking, but what I've experienced is if you put something in to be toasted while the eggs and muffins are cooking, then it seems to delay the finish time for everything until the last thing put in the toaster is done. That makes the english muffins that were put in first a little over done. But all in all, I love this toaster. I wish it was less expensive. I've only had it about two weeks, but so far it works as good as new!
I was more excited to try this thing out than the first time I saw a naked woman! I had never heard about it anywhere else but Amazon, but when I saw it I couldn't get my credit card out fast enough. I leave this on my desk at work and every morning I'm the breakfast king! Everyone at work is jealous of me.

I have had this for one month now. With regular use it consistently makes me egg muffins exactly the way I like them, and exactly the same every time. I have also reheated Ham and sausage patties on the steamer tray.

I have no negative comments to make at all! The price was fair for something that is sooo sweet!

It hardly requires any cleaning at all. It makes no mess and I usually just rinse off the egg pans after use and thoroughly clean them once a week.

With the family running in different directions, this has been a breakfast (and dinner) lifesaver. It's a part of our morning ritual. It has been wonderful heading out the door with a "hot" breakfast. I'm disappointed that they are discontinuing the 4 slice/2 egg toaster!
The Back to Basics 4-slot Egg and Muffin Toaster toasts bread, English muffins, bagels or croissants at the same time it steam-poaches the egg and warms the pre-cooked meat. In about four minutes, this multi-function toaster makes a delicious egg and muffin sandwich at home. Also hard- or soft- boils up to 8 eggs at a time.

customer 's review
(Totally changed my method of BBQ'ing chicken)

(Great little cooker)

(Great tool in outdoor or indoor kitchen)

(Well made, easy to clean)

(Oh Yeah)
Once you cook beer-can style chicken, you will never go back to your old ways of cooking chicken. This has to be the most MAINTENANCE-FREE method of cooking chicken - ever.

As you may already be aware, cooking chicken on a BBQ grill is a task in that you constantly have to monitor the chicken to make sure it is not flaming up. You also have to consistently flip the chicken so it will cook evenly on each side.

With this beer-can method, you just place the chicken on the can and let the BBQ grill do the rest.

Best results for me are as follows:
1. Season chicken with Lawry's or other favorite seasoning (I also throw some thyme in the inside of the chicken)
2. Let sit for an hour
3. Set up beer-can unit inside grill; fill can to 1/2-way mark w/your favorite beer
3. Place whole chicken inside and fire up the grill to 450F for about 10 minutes. (This is to sear the skin to keep the moisture inside.)
4. Drop grill temperature to about 350F for 1hr and 20 minutes.
5. When finished (1.5hr cooktime total) you will have the most juicy chicken you have ever tasted.

On a side note, this device will easily pay for itself in both time and money. You save precious time that you can now spend w/family and friends (still monitor the chicken but not as much in frequency). You save money because now I will buy a whole chicken which costs $0.88/lb rather than individual portions, breast or other that is in excess of $1.5/lb.

If you don't have one, buy one. They also make a great gift as well.

This was given to me as a gift and at first, I thought, what will I do with this? Well, it turns out that the beer can chicken cooker cooks a perfect, golden chicken every time. The bird is seasoned, moist and evenly cooked. The drip tray prevents grease spills. THe only negative comment that I have is that the can lid can be difficult to remove once heated. I don't use the lid anymore.
This is a wonderful tool for in the kitchen or on the grill. Easy to use. Doesn't wobble like a chicken on a can of beer. I could put the chicken on myself and move to oven without help. Center holds beer, spices, or herbs. Very easy to clean. Glad I bought them. Will use it a lot. Very happy.

I'm not disappointed. It's pretty much as it is described. I like that it is stainless-steel. It's well made. It's easy to clean. The rack that holds the can and sits in the tray is very sturdy and stable (won't tip over during cooking). And it disassembles and stores back into the small box that it came in.

The only negative thing I can say is that it IS so small. I would have preferred a larger/deeper tray for the chicken to sit on. A few more inches in either direction and at least 2 inches in height for the base tray. If you think that little tray will hold all of the juices that come off of the chicken, you are in for a sad little mess at the bottom of your oven. To be fair, I probably used a large (4 pound) chicken - BUT, I could COOK a 4 pound chicken. I was smart enough to put the whole assembly into a larger casserole dish. Next time, I will omit the bottom tray all together and just use the can, the rack and a casserole dish or roasting pan. That way, I can have enough room to put potatoes and vegetables around the base while it is cooking (like another poster suggested). Plus, I'll know that it will contain all of those wonderful juices that come off of the bird.

Would I buy it again? Yes.

This thing works great. Well made, easy to use and clean up (I sprayed the drip pan with Pam for grilling). It is small so leaves plenty of grill space but holds the chicken very stable. Handles make it easy to remove the chicken from the grill. No aluminum or paint vapor or who knows what else. The chicken was moist with crispy skin and cooked perfectly throughout. Can't go wrong with this. (see pictures)
Steven Raichlen wrote the book on beer can chicken - literally. This ingenious device makes the process easier and virtually fail proof. Square construction gives you greater stability. The bird won't tip and beer won't spill. All stainless steel, so it will not react with food. Metal holder adapts to both beer cans and the included unique stainless steel canister, which you can fill with wine, fruit juice, or other flavorful liquid. Metal drip pan collects meat juices for sauces and prevents dripping fat from erupting into flare-ups.

(Big Mouth Pro Juicer)

(Great juicer for the price!)

(Good for 3 weeks, but then it broke:()

(so-so)
For the price range it is a 5/5. it simply juices like its supposed to. Its easy to clean, and has a large open 'mouth' for people like me who do not want to cut their fruits and vegetables before juicing.

Basically it works great, and wont cost you a fortune or a long time to clean.

This juicer is easy to clean, space saver on my counter, no chopping, works great and juice taste good! And the price is 1/3 the cost of a previous juicer I returned to the store difficult to use, clean and too large. Happy juicing!
Hamilton Beach 67650H Big Mouth Pro Juice Extractor

I bought this juicer as a gift for my husband who had been wanting one for months. It has a large opening that allows you to just place whole fruits in and it is very easy to clean. The only down side I have noticed is that it doesn't handle pineapple very well. It will break it down but you definitely hear the machine working harder.
I bought this product because of all the great reviews I read. I initially loved it, but after tree weeks, it just didn't work. I was so sad because I really liked it.
Hard to review a product that I had never used in the past. Although one thing I know is that it is not supposed to arrive DOA! Took it out of the box got the fruit cut put it in the hopper and nothing! Followed all of the directions called customer service they told me to ship it back and they would replace it with another one. I did and they did. I held my breath but shazaam it worked! You can't beat the value and works ok, there seems to be a lot of pulp though. I put in a five pound bag of apples and came out with an 8oz cup of applejuice, I did not thing that was a fair tradeoff?:)

(Love it!)

(delivers as promised)

(Good and easy to clean)

(You Get What You Pay For)

(Will it Blend? You bet!)
I've had mine for about a month now and have gone through over 150 cycles (yes, it keeps track of how many times it has been used). Not a particularly useful feature, but interesting. This machine is helping me transition from SAD eating to a more whole foods diet. Mostly I've used it for smoothies and it can rip through whole vegetables and frozen fruit with ease. Sometimes I have to give it a few extra pulses on top of the smoothie setting, but that's no problem. I've learned to know when it needs a little more time. The whole juice setting is great. Noise -- yes, it is noisy but it seems no more noisy than my old Cuisinart blender that this replaced. And because it is so powerful, I don't need to run it as long as I ran the Cuisinart. Oh, did I mention salad dressing? It emulsifies oil and vinegar so well you barely need to ever shake it to blend again, even after sitting in the fridge for many days. Try blending a shallot in with oil, vinegar and lemon -- makes a great, refreshing dressing. If you are looking for a machine that will be an everyday workhorse, this is it. It also fits nicely under the upper cabinets and clean-up is a breeze. Love it!
although pricey it seems to be well made and the programmed functions work extremely well, we ordered 2 $50-60 oster and west bend blenders and sent both back as poorly constructed and flimsy.
I love this machine! Powerful and versatile. And the best of all is how easy it is to clean it--just rinse it under the faucet. Since I use it daily I don't think I need to use soap. The big question now is how long can this wonderful thing last. I hope the metal parts are durable.
In the world of blenders, you get what you pay for. Power is everything and as that increases, so does the price. Blendtec is near the top in both power and price, but for good reason. If you're someone who uses a blender a lot or plans to, the Blendtec is a worthy investment. As someone who decided to start eating healthier, being able to make a fruit smoothie every morning with ease is well worth the price tag to hopefully live a little longer.

As others have mentioned, the blender is powerful. It will destroy just about anything you put in it. Most blenders have issues with ice while the Blendtec turns it into snow (great if you like making snow cones). The jar is made of a thick plastic and withstands both hard and soft items well. While some have complained about the sound, I wouldn't put it much more than standing next to a vacuum cleaner.

One of the most underated aspects of this blender is how easy it is to clean. After you're finished, simply rinse out the blender, fill it with some warm water and a drop of detergent, blend for a few seconds, and rinse it out. The blender comes out looking like new in under a minute. There are no extra parts or items you need to scrub.

Now there are a couple minor things that bother me. The first being that it's not as easy as they make it look. Most of the demos show them throwing whatever ingredients they want into the blender and hitting the preset button and standing back. Wa-La! They have a perfect smoothie. Fact is that sometimes the blender doesn't blend everything right. Using too much frozen fruit or not enough liquid can cause issues. It takes a little time to figure out how to get it to work the way you want. I know that some would say that no blender is perfect, but I think it's a reasonable complaint when they advertise the machine as something that seems to blend everything flawlessly.

Which brings me to the other minor issue, the presets. There are buttons for smoothies, milkshakes, etc. The concept is that you just hit the button and it'll make it how you want. Fact is that the presets don't provide the best results. I found myself just using the speed up and speed down buttons along with the pulse for making what I needed. After a few rounds of it, I knew what speed was best. The presets on the other hand would give mixed results. Sometimes I'd have to hit it twice, sometimes I'd have to pulse before and after.

All in all it's a great blender at a fair price. If you are someone who blends quite regularly, it's a great investment to your kitchen.

I got my Blendtec about two months ago, and I wanted to wait until it got through one hundred cycles before I posted my review, just to make sure the 'honeymoon' stage was over. For those that are not familiar with the blender, the LCD screen on the base keeps track of how many cycles it has been through. A cycle is basically pushing any button on the blender except pulse.

Initial Impressions:
I quickly figured out that the blades on the Blendtec work slightly different than the blenders I was accustomed with. The blade doesn't really have an 'upward' angle to it, so if what you're blending will not fall to the bottom of the jar, it will not be blended. The best example I can think of is an orange: previous blender's blades would pull it down into the blades and then keep chipping away at it, but on the Blendtec it would just balance between the center bolt on the blade and the jar wall. But boy, when that fruit was sliced and did get into the blade, there was little left of it. Previous blenders had left me accustomed to fine chunks of whatever I was blending, but the Blendtec could turn a whole unpeeled orange into what looked like orange syrup.

I have seen several reviews cite the Blendtec as being excessively loud, but I did not really think that. It IS loud compared to a $12 Durabrand 200 watt blender, but it is not much louder than a higher end (~$60) consumer blender. And the preprogrammed cycles mean you can just start a cycle (around 40 seconds) and walk away.

While Racking Up the Cycles:
I have primarily used the blender about once a day in an effort to help me work some fruits and veggies in my diet. I have also used it a few times for things like pancake batter and iced drinks. I'm still amazed at how this machine can liquefy a leaf of lettuce or kale. I had tried a few times with other blenders to blend up greens but was usually turned off at how chunky the end result was.

One thing I really grew to like was the preprogrammed buttons on the base. After pushing a button, the LCD will start a countdown timer and you can hear the blender running at different speeds to make sure everything in the jar is getting into the blades. This works pretty good 95%+ of the time, but when it doesn't the one piece lid does not allow you to prod the offending piece of matter into the blades. Sometimes I wonder if Blendtec should have integrated a tamper like Vitamix, but for few times it would be needed it would probably just be more of a hassle than a help. If larger things like apples, oranges, and lettuce leafs are diced or chopped before blending it is much less of a problem.

Cleaning the Blendtec is by far the easiest blender I have ever cleaned. Because the blades are integrated into the jar, it only has two pieces (jar and lid) compared to traditional blenders that have around six. For the most part after using the blender I just put water and a small amount of soap into the jar and pulse it a few times, rinse it out, and then set it out to dry. The base is also easy to clean since the buttons are not raised, just a quick swipe with a rag.

-Conclusions-
I give the Blendtec 4 stars because there are a few things that keep it from being perfect. While some of the "don't likes" were not mentioned in the main review, I still feel they are important enough to keep from mentioning.

What I liked:
-Preprogrammed cycles allowed me to just push and walk away (but still stay close, see below)
-The blender's ability to pulverize anything placed into it
-Super easy to clean
-Very few parts
-It is aesthetically pleasing enough that it doesn't seem out of place on a counter if it is left out

What I didn't like:
-Occasionally all items in the blender would fail to enter the blades, chopping with a knife ahead of time could usually prevent this... But part of me hates dicing food before putting it into a blender.
-After about 50 cycles when the blades were spinning down after a cycle it would squeak like an old car's engine. This would only last about a second or two, and I'm not sure if it is even a problem, the blender performance has been unaffected. I just hope it isn't a symptom of a bigger problem.
-Of the 100 cycles, once during a cycle the blender starting vibrating violently, causing the blender assembly to rotate on the counter. It then blew the lid off and propelled green liquid on to my upper cupboards and counter top. I am still unsure what caused this, as I was using the same ingredients and cycle I had in the past. I have since kept an extra eye on the blender and refrained from leaving the kitchen completely.

What I'm Indifferent About:
-Price: If you are reading this review, you already know how expensive the Blendtec is compared to other blenders. While I would not classify this product as a 'must have' kitchen appliance, I still think its performance is far superior to the traditional blender. I realize that this would not come without a price premium. This blender is not a deal, but I also do not feel like I was ripped off either.

When the blending button is pushed on the Smart-Touch tec-nology digital touchpad, a preprogrammed cycle automatically speeds up and slows down to draw ingredients into the 29,000 rpm blade and thoroughly blend all the ingredients. It shuts off when the cycle is complete, so recipes will turn out perfect every time. The blending jar is our famous patented square jar design, just like our professional models used in U.S. coffee, juice, and restaurant chains, with a 32-ounce capacity and a one-year warranty. The patented two-prong stainless-steel blade carries a lifetime warranty. The blender has a powerful commercial-quality, 1,500 watt 3 HP direct-drive motor and comes with an ice-crushing guarantee and a three-year warranty on the motor and base. The Total Blender replaces these other kitchen appliances: Grain mill, juicer, bread machine, ice-cream maker, smoothie maker, blender, milkshake maker, coffee grinder, ice crusher. And it does the job better than the individual products, for a fraction of the cost. Material used : BPA free Copolyester.

(Piece of junk - does not last)

(Set it and leave it)

(Nordic Ware Microwave Micro-Go-Round)

(Nordic turntable)

(Microwave go-round)
We have an older microwave without a built-in turntable, so this is about the only option we have to get that function. We have owned 3-4 of these, and they simply break after a while. The mechanism is cheap plastic, and no matter how careful you are when you wind it the plastic breaks after a while and you have to replace the whole turntable.
I love this product because you never have to worry about turning food around in the microwave again. Just put the plate on top and walk away until the bells dings stating the food is finished cooking.
This is the third Micro-Go-Round I have purchased over 30 or so years. I have an old microwave that does not include the turntable and this product does the trick very nicely. I looked all over town for a new one without success. As usual, when I checked online, Amazon.com was the first and cheapest place I could purchase it from.
Easy to use . just wind up and weight of item placed on turntable will get it to start. Automatic shutoff when item is removed from turntable.
This product makes microwaving so much easier. I don't have to keep opening the door to turn whatever I am heating so it takes less time to get the job done. Plus it wipes up easily if something spills over.
Heavy duty, top of the line Micro-Go-Round is for mid and full size ovens. Automatic start/stop wieght activated switch automatically starts unit when food is placed on it. Runs 30 minutes without rewinding. Proudly made in the USA by Nordic Ware.
NordicWare's handy Microware TM series for the microwave gives home chefs the tools they need for clean, lean, and fast cooking. This 10-inch Micro-Go-Round turntable eliminates the infamously uneven heating that can turn soup into a risky escapade (will the next sip be scorching or cold?) or transform a frozen dinner into, well, something still half frozen. Weight-activated to begin rotating, the roomy round tool has a steady spring-powered movement that capitalizes on the active microwaves to cook all parts of food equally. An internal reflecting disc also helps by directing heat up into the underside of food. Suitable for midsized and large microwave ovens, the Micro-Go-Round is a smart, space-efficient solution-perhaps sometimes it is a good idea to recreate the wheel.--Kara Karll

(Absolutely the Best!)

(Great idea, needs refining)

(5 Pans In ONE!!!)
This sectional cake pan was amazing to use. No fuss, no mess and slices ready to serve. I'll never use a regular cake pan again. I absolutely love how well my cakes come out and you don't have to worry about slicing pieces to serve. It's the greatest.
This cake pan is sturdy, the divider well thought out and the cooling rack a really handy item. The only problem I have is that even my thickest batters (pound cake) run through the two piece pan and onto the oven bottom to burn.
For the price, the rack and slicer are worth it, but I can't find out how to bake in the two piece pan without having it run through.

Slice Solutions offers a nice package: You get a non-stick baking pan, new smooth, durable finish, with a professional-style removable bottom like a springform; a cake divider that functions both as a sectional baker and slicer, great for diets or catering; plus an ultra cooling rack, about 3-inches high--how often have we wished for rapid cooling???--that could easily double as an informal serving stand--each attractive and at a reasonable price. The divider, a sturdy, well-constructed, rather artistic piece without the usual razor-sharp, hazardous blades but a convenient handle, can easily serve as a scone baker, which works even better without the pan, producing authentic-looking rounded edges, just like hearth-baked. The ads don't do the set justice!! We haven't seen any EXTRA cake pans that match the set, but we're still looking.
If you love baking then you know of the many problems that tend to occur during the process. Slice Solutions has created a sectioner 9" Round Cake Pan that is sized perfectly for the pan that you place into the pan before cooking. One cooked and cooled the sectioner is removed and you have 8 presliced, perfectly sized, cake slices! Problem 2: Removing the cake slices from the pan is not easy, even with a small turner you tend to crush at least the first one or two cake slices just to get into the pan. Slice Solutions has developed a pan with a removable bottom that eliminates this issue. After removing the sectioner you place the entire pan, centered, on the included wire lifting rack. In doing so, the removable bottom stays on this rack and the outer pan drops underneath allowing for you to easily use a small turner to remove the cake slice. You can also use sectioner as a cutter after baking is completed if desired.

(Small But Mighty)

(Horrible!)

(DOA!)

(Blends lke a charm)

(Awesome Tiny Blender for my Tiny Apartment)

Love this thing! I ordered this because I was a little tired of dragging out the humongous stainless steel Osterizer (must I always buy the biggest and best?) just for smoothies(always dieting). This is lightweight, streamlined (soon I will be too) and grinds ice like nobody's business! And for 19.99 ? Get out!!

Thought this would be good for making my protein shakes. However, I soon found out that this thing cant even blend ice. You get what you pay for. I'm not sure what the other reviewers are talking about -- this thing is a piece of garbage.
After reading the overwhelmingly positive reviews, I thought that this would be a wonderful device for my wife's breakfast smoothies. Perhaps it is.

But the unit arrived DOA!

Asking Amazon for a replacement. If the next unit has the same problem, it will be time for a nasty phone call to Hamilton Beach!

This little blender is super powerful!! It works great!! In fact, I actually love it so much I just bought another one. It is great for making smoothies and blended drinks and I even processed black beans for burgers the other night. Plus it is small and thus does not take up much room. Perfect for dorm rooms/small kitchens. Best deal for the price I think!! It is also super easy to clean. Always an added bonus!
This blender is awesome! It's so little and perfect for my tiny NYC studio apartment. My entire counter is 3 inches on one side of the sink and 2 on the other side. My blender fits right in there. Makes really great smoothies and can crush frozen fruit and ice. The plastic is a little thin so I wouldn't use it as a travel cup. I use this blender all the time and have had it for about 4 months. LOVE.

Take your drink to go-use the travel lid to drink from the jar. Convenient single-serving size. Great for fruit smoothies, icy drinks, shakes and more. Stainless steel blades. One-touch blending. Easy storage. Less cleaning.

(Perfect Replacement Part)

(Excellent replacement bowl)

(Two are much better than one)

(You'll be thankful you have this extra freezer bowl!)

(This works as a replacement canister for the GE Ice Cream Maker!)
We dropped and damaged the freezer bowl that came with our Cuisinart ice cream maker. I bought the replacement from Amazon - it works perfectly. Now enjoying homemade ice cream again.
There isn't much to say about this. It's just as good as the original. The only downside is the price. I wish it was about $10 cheaper.
I always keep a freezer bowl in my freezer because I use it for much more than simply making ice cream and if I had a larger freezer, I'd keep it stocked with two. First of all, I have found that keeping it upside down enables the internal solution to chill faster and more uniformly, and I usually put it on top of other frozen items like a bag or two of peas. Secondly, I use it when I need to chill something quickly, then replace it once the chilling is done. I've even used this as an impromptu ice bucket to quickly chill a bottle of wine, and I simply covered the exterior with a nice piece of fabric to conceal its true identity. Once again, back into the freezer until it was next needed for ice cream or another quick solution to a chilling problem. My only complaint with this is that it is so darn expensive when you consider the cost of the entire ice cream maker is not much more money. In my experience, I have found that when some consumers tire of the ice cream making novelty, they often donate theirs to a second hand store or sell them at a yard sale. I've been fortunate enough to have found a second machine as well as the backup bowl and have been thrilled that they are still in great condition after several years and many gallons of ice cream. On the other hand, just like the yogurt maker I bought as a backup when Amazon had it on sale, I'll probably buy another bowl for the second ice cream maker and give them both to a friend. I love Cuisinart electronics and enjoy extending their lives.
This extra bowl is exactly like the one that comes with the Cuisinart ICE-20 Automatic 1-1/2-Quart Ice-Cream Maker, White, a double-wall canister that contains freezing liquid, so you can replace a damaged bowl or simply order to have an extra one. If you plan to use your ice cream maker a lot, you'll want to order this, especially because the bowl must be frozen for at least 15 hours prior to freezing, making it impossible to make two ice cream recipes back-to-back. With two bowls, you can freeze up one batch right after the other instead of waiting for another day to make the next flavor. Of course, that means that you must have the freezer space for both.

Recommended for people with the freezer space and for those who frequently use their ice cream makers.

-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

If your 1.5 Quart GE Gel Canister 106765 has died, this canister will work with your GE Ice Cream maker.
Includes Cuisinart ICE-RFB.
When the whole neighborhood brings the kids to your house, this extra freezer bowl provides needed flexibility by letting you make an additional batch of your favorite ice cream, frozen yogurt, or sorbet. Little assembly is required to use this extra bowl, as it's made to fit on the Cuisinart ice-cream maker. The bowl does not come with a lid for storage of your sweet creations, and so should be kept away from any heat source, and it's not dishwasher-safe.--Teresa Simanton
