The only bummer is that our whole wheat tortillas seem to be lacking that blistered effect,and they are a little more "spongy"... almost like the press needs to get hotter! We will keep it and use it often, but I am sure we will resort to our cast iron cooking technique when we want a more authentic effect. I had seen all reviews for this product before purchase, some people felt this wasn't good some people said this excellent. But what i found was this is excellent product but you need to learn to use it before getting results. To get best results you need to make dough very soft if you are using a dough maker you need to do nothing more. If dough is not soft the tortillos or what ever you are making will break and will not grow in size as you keep pressing.When pressing to make tortillo bigger do not press more if you hear loud hissing sound that means tortillo is breaking, stop for couple of second and press again. I made atleast 5 to 6 unsucessful attempts before i learned to use it. All the best if choose to buy the product it was worth the money for me I enquired few of my friends who bought this item from amazon. all of them using this as a roti presser. For pressing roti's this is best option. If you want to make rotis also with this then it is not a good item to have. I press rotis and move it to the pan and heat it. If you use this machine to heat the rotis, it will be tough to eat them , them become dry. Still this is reducing the pressing job. Also you get big rotis 10'. The dough should be very soft when pressing, otherwise becomes hard. Shipment prompt from amazon. I hesitated to write a review as reading the other reviews pretty much sums it up. The unit is well made and reasonably priced. I have yet to make a bad tortilla. You simply need to follow the instructions. I am very happy with this purchase and continue to believe that Amazon is the best place to buy. I've been using these for 25 years, and they work well. Ignore the directions and experiment til you get the right masa/lime juice/water mixture; it only takes a few tries. I'm buying my third one because the handle broke on some too-thick wet masa. However, recently most of the number keys on the touchpad quit working when punched. Now we have to input a time using the few keys that still operate, use some math to figure out what the display will read when it has heated up long enough, and then watch it like a hawk while it cooks. There seem to be a lot of good reviews on this oven, and I guess we just got a dud, because a microwave wave should last a lot longer than this. But we're going to have to replace ours when we can, and next time it's not going to be a Sharp. I'd like to point out that this review is by a mere man. And when it comes to things of the kitchen my opinion doesn't count for much. I thought this microwave oven was just fine. I threw away the packaging in a fit of tidiness and confidence. I tried it out. It worked. What could possibly be wrong? We have had it now for three weeks and my wife has not stopped complaining. I didn't know that one could get so worked up about a microwave oven. True, without my glasses I can't see which button to press. Yes, it does take longer to cook anything than our last microwave oven. And when I stumble, bleary eyed, into the kitchen in the middle of the night I have no idea what time it is because the clock doesn't light up. Surely, patience is a virtue. Do we need to be in so much of a rush? Does one minute here, or two minutes there really make much difference? I can live with it. My wife can't. I don't think I can send it back without packaging if you want to know the truth. We are now into week three of being owners of this appliance, and my wife has not exhausted her ire against it. I was impressed with the product for the money. It is easy to wash and the cover makes it dust free. I use it frequently and am very happy with it. If you don't have a cutting board like I didn't it is best to use one with this tool. The Deni MT48 48 Blade Meat Tenderizer is the best item I have ordered thus far. It will tenderize the toughest of meat. My only regret is I did not find this sooner. BUY IT! Price varies, $19.00 is a good entry point. Used it on a Sirloin bottom Ball cut, normally TOUGH. Pricked liberally, both sides, a 'lil Adolph tenderizer, 3 min. in a G.Foreman grill. Literally fell apart, tender, tasty. I like cubed steaks, but the Butcher version is always full of hidden tough gristle that clogs my teeth. With this wonderful tool, I can prepare a Kill-fur steak meal from a cut that I can trim and inspect. Not messy, AND you don't need a flashlight to see if your cup is getting close to full like the Cusinart that we replaced. My husband and I LOVE this machine!!! We would recommend it to anyone who likes an excellent cup of coffee, a 24 hr timer, 1-4 hr choice of keeping it hot without scorching the coffee...and on and on! i have had this for about a year and the leak is so bad i can't use it anymore. the coffee reseroir leaks between the sides and bottom at the seam. i get coffee leaking all over the counter top. it made great coffee but seemed to need more frequent cleaning than other coffeemakers i have used. We love this coffee maker as all we have to do is place our cups under the spout and push. This is the best. I received this item on September 12, 2008. It was great until October 21, 2008 when the valve that keeps the brewed coffee inside the maker, which is released so coffee will be dispensed when you press your cup against the lever, gave way and hot coffee poured out everywhere. There is no way humanly possible to get the rubber gasket reseated. I worked relentlessly at it for an nearly an hour (I am not a quitter), but finally had to give it up. It will be too costly and troublesome to send back to manufacturer, so I will just get back out my old tried and true Braun. This is a handsome machine with a great idea, especially convenient dispensing, but some engineer needs to go back to the drawing board on this one. I've had the brew station for 2 years. I use it daily. Recently I was having problems with it not turning on. I had to keep hitting the button or unplug it then replug and turn on. That was a pain because it was originally plugged in behind the fridge! After several weeks of electrical problems I then developed leaking problems! Finally gave up on the coffee maker. Then.... I was visiting my sister-in-law and she made us a pot of coffee. I went to get a cup and noticed she had a new coffee pot. I asked what happened to her old one (same as mine - Hamilton Beach Brew Station Deluxe). She said it "went up". I told her mine did too. She then told me that Michele's (other sis in law) went up too! We all bought the coffee makers within 3 months of each other and they all went up within 3 months of each other. In summary.... I loved the coffee maker but the life of the system seems to be short. All three of us drink coffee on a daily basis so I can't say for sure wheather you get a "number of brews" before problems or if it is "time issue"! I recently got a B30 Mini Brewer and it is my first Keurig brewer. I am in love with this machine! I read the reviews of the Pod Holster and thought I'd get one in the event that I was ever short on the k-cups and needed to make a quick run for the grocery store. I got my holster yesterday and gave it a try with a pod of Senseo French Vanilla. I followed the instructions provided in the (very helpful) video posted as a review here on Amazon. It worked like a charm! I did not experience any of the splashing or spatters that a few experienced, and everything worked for me just like in the video. The pods are a bit cheaper than the k-cups, and it's just a convenient accessory to keep with your brewer. I definitely recommend this one. To take a contrary opinion on this product, I didn't get the same results. The reason I'm seeing is the very, very wide opening and my narrow coffee cups means that 5-10% of the volume of the coffee from each cup ends up on the front walls of the Keurig B70, the drip tray, and the counter. It seems like the water is coming through with such force that it can't help but to spew -- it's purely out of the bottom, not the top of the device. I tried a different wide mouth coffee cup and elevated it so the lip is right under the opening, I got better results, but I shouldn't have to go to extremes. So far, the other product where you put the loose grounds into a basket seems to give me much better results, even if it is a pain to use, change, and clean. Well, this does the job for using up the old coffee pods we have after getting our new Keurig Coffee Maker. Wow, what a machine! They work just fine with coffee or tea pods. Great idea! This is priced a little too high for what it does and probably cost them $3 to make in China. It would probably sell better at $9.95 than $12.95 that I paid but no used models were available, so, others must be happy with theirs, too. I just received the perfect pod holster and gave it a try straight away. Thanks to the video review on Amazon's website, I knew what technique to apply when inserting the coffee pod. There is also an article and pictures outlining out to use the holster at singleservercoffee's website. For my test I used a pod from the Senseo Vienna Hazelnut Waltz Coffee Pods, 16-Count Packages (Pack of 4) on a Keurig B60 Special Edition Gourmet Single-Cup Home-Brewing System. The extraction was excellent and there were no grounds as occasionally noted by some reviewers. I can see how, without proper technique, that grounds could end up in the cup. The reason for the 4 stars - need better instructions so that users are ensured of a good experience. I don't know about its longevity though and that would be my larger concern at this point in time. I just don't know how many uses I should expect and I can see how the spring could turn into a failure point. Regarding seller As Seen On TV, the product arrived on time and with a packing slip. Not all of these sellers on Amazon provide packing slips which makes returning more challenging. Now to try the new Godiva Chocolate Crème Coffee Single Serve, Coffee Pods, 16 Count, 3.66 Ounce Bags (Pack of 3)! I ordered this producs 2 weeks ago. Well we had shipping issues and I never received it. Costumer care they were quick to help me and resend it. I must say very good costumer service i was satisfied. (As Seen on TV). I received my product yesterday. I couldnt wait to test it. I used a Senseo pad and it fit perfect in the holster and the holster fit perfect my Keurig. After the water was heated I pressed the blue button and the coffe came out clear (no grounds of coffe or nothing) i was thrilled and excited. I used the Senseo Columbia coffee as a test pad and I must say I like it better than the k-cups i have tried so far. It made me stronger coffe with a smoth taste.Loving it. I recommend this product for those reasons: 1.you can save yourself lots of money by using coffee pads 2.you have even more variety of coffe. 3.It is enviroment friendly and you dont have plenty of K cups filling up your trash can. 4. WHen you run out of K cups you wont have to search to find new K cups. (went to Target and i couldnt find K cups, if you find them you wont find a variety so you do have to order at some point and spend at least 17 Dollars at once) 5.This product opens your doors so you can simply buy coffee pads everywhere (Walmart,Kmart etc.) and dont need to spend 10 Dollars (18 pads) at once, if you find K cups at all. The Senseo pads cost me 3,60$(16 pads),as mentioned coffee is even stronger than k cups. 6.If you like the coffe of certain ventors (from K cups), go to coffe for less and order the same coffe you would order as K cup in pad form and you will see that the same coffe costs half as much. So its a win win situation. Great Product! UPDATE: I was just reading the reviews and wanted to clarify do own the Keurig B40 Model. I also found out the other day that i can even brew regular Teabags with this holster. :o) The Perfect Pod Holster allows you to use virtually any pod 55mm and greater in your Keurig coffee Machine. I just heat the grill up (a Weber of course)fill the Grill Daddy with water - turn the water knob to on and scrub like you would with any other grill brush.
