『OK - here was some helpful info I wish I had. Don't worry about baking one side, then the other. Who has the time to do that?? Make sure you saturate the pan (top, too) with cooking spray. (This is vital - I tried crisco on the sides and it failed) Simply fill the "top" side of the pan, leaving 1/4" of headspace. Then fill the "bottom" of the cupcake, leaving 1 1/4" of headspace. I baked for 50 minutes (oven temps vary) and then let it cool *completely*. (3+ hours) Because cake batter will spill over while baking, take a knife and gently tease the top part of the cake up. I also trimmed the top and bottom BEFORE turning it out of the pan! As long as you have sprayed the pan enough, it should slide right out!』

『I bought this cake for my dying sister's 58th birthday. Unfortunately, she is currently in the hospital. She is the family cake baker. I decided to use her gift to bake her cake..... and what a bummer this experience turned out to be. One cake mix was obviously not enough, so I whipped up the 2nd mix and added. It took FOREVER to bake. And even though I spent extra, extra time greasing the pan, it did not release cleanly, and there is nothing that can be done to fix the bottom, fluted part. The top came apart also, but can probably be fixed with frosting. It didn't occur to me to check the hints on-line before backing; Wilton is a well known name and should have supplied accurate instructions if there were issues. Now I am torn between chucking the cake and making cookies, or going back to the store late at night and getting up super early to try again. Don't have any idea if I should even give her this as a gift.』

(A bit too soft)
『I got these spatulas because I needed to add a few more dollars for an order to qualify for free shipping. I had seen them at HomeGoods a couple of months ago and thought they were a bit on the soft side (they were selling them for $5 each so the Amazon deal for a set of three seemed attractive).

In any case, I don't find them particularly useful when it comes to scraping - if you are working with dough, they are useless.

Their handles are smooth and feel alright in my hands but they could be a tad longer.

Their heads do come off. A few people have commented here that they liked the fact that the heads didn't come off. Well, the set I got has removable heads. In fact, in my experience, the head of the smallest spatula can be removed a bit too easily.

If you are looking for a flexible yet firm silicone spatula, this set will disappoint you.』

『Inheriting the "Corelle lasts forever" mentality from my parents, I purchased two sets of these when I moved out on my own. Two years later, no a single complaint. I never used the tumblers that came with the set b/c I love the feel and quality of Libby glassware. These are definitely dishwasher safe and even if you leave food stuck on them for days, you can still chip it off with a butter knife and not harm the dish.

All I can say that Corelle really does last forever!』

(Practical every day dishes, poor packing)
『Corelle as usual is a perfect every day dish choice, especially for klutzy families like mine. They don't overheat and burn your fingers in the microwave, and take up little space in the cupboard or dishwasher. The dishes are terrific, but...

This is surprising, since in my experience Amazon has a tendency to err on the side of caution when it comes to packing, but this time the inner Corelle box was wide open and the contents fallen out into the big Amazon box. Corelle being the durable dish that it is, there was no damage there, but one of the glasses was broken. Since they are pretty flimsy to start with and aren't likely to last long in my house anyway, I don't suppose it matters, but it's still rather irritating that I can't just get Amazon to send a replacement glass instead of having to pack it all back up and cart it off to the post office for a return. Naturally it's not worth the trouble for one glass and I'm not going to bother. You have to wonder why they don't just limit the set to the Corelle portion and stop throwing in useless cups or glasses that most of us didn't want in the first place.

The other bummer is that the set I paid $38.65 for last week is now $29.99, but I guess that's just a normal shopping hazard.』

『We have had this toaster oven for almost a year now. Seems to be built very well. We previously purchased another brand, but quickly returned it due to minimal temp settings, and loudness. This is not the case with the Quisinart toaster oven. This was one of the more expensive units we looked at, but we have NO regrets. Well worth the extra few bucks. I don't write reviews often, but felt like I had to spread the word about this product.』

(Loving it!)
『After reviewing all the available oven toasters, I decided to go for this one. And I'm so glad I did! Since I bought it 10 days ago, I've been using it almost everyday, and it's been working fabulously. Mostly, I'm using convectional oven. it heats up quickly, and it beeps when the temperature is ready, and it beeps when the timer is up. Loud enough, but not annoying. I kind of like it that it doesn't shut off the oven automatically, because sometimes the food may need some more baking after the time is up. (some potatoes are bigger than the others, etc. you know. You don't know exactly how long it takes to bake certain things) All you got to do is come to the oven, check your food, and shut it off yourself, or continue baking.

My husband was skeptical about toasting, but it toasts just fine and he likes it. I use it to reheat my food, instead of using the microwave, for health reason. I just put the plate of food in the oven and set it at 300F or so. After 10 minutes or so, the food is warm, and the plate is safe. During that 10 minutes, I prepare my medications, feed the dog, etc. Before I know it, it's ready.

As for the "hot" and "dangerous" part, I don't find it that way. It's hot, of course, but it's not any hotter than the previous Black and Decker toaster oven that we had, which caught on a fire 2 weeks ago. My husband's toast was on flame inside the toaster, and he couldn't even open the door. He had to throw it away outside and use the fire extinguisher to take care of it. Thank God that it didn't burn our house!!
Compared to that toaster, this thing is not even hot. The handle is cool, so it's perfectly safe to open it. There is no light inside, but you can still see what's happening inside. It all depends on where you place it. If you place it where light from your window or room light can come in, you'll be fine.

As for the noise, I don't even notice it. It's not any louder than your fridge for sure. It's pretty quiet actually. It doesn't bother anyone in our household. If anything, our dog's snoring can overpower it.

The panel is so easy to use. I'm mechanically illiterate; I don't know how to use microwaves unless it's very basic, like dials-only kind, and I can't even change the light bulbs, but this oven is so easy to use. I didn't even have to read the instructions.

The rack slides out very easily, so there's no problem in taking out the food. The only thing that I don't know yet is how durable this thing is. I'm hoping that it will last forever. According to my friend who owns TOB175, it will last a very long time. She's loving her TOB175.

『While I agree with most of the reviews, I do find it lacking in certain areas:

1. There is no inside light. This makes seeing how things are cooking very difficult.

2. The timer does not turn off the oven when time has completed.

3. Control buttons are very difficult to read because they are the same stainless as the panel.

4. Some functions require a sequence of buttons to push and requires the manual to do a simple task.

5. The convection fan makes a loud humming sound.

(We love our Z machine! Easy and versatile.)
『We've had our Z machine for just over a week. Prior to our Z, we had never owned a bread machine, nor were we bread bakers. Now, we're making a loaf a day! We love it! We've made several types using the recipes provided and also found a couple on the internet that were fast favorites. We read hundreds of reviews from various sites before deciding on the Zojiruishi. It was a little more expensive, but worth every penny. By reading the various reviews we also learned valuable "breadmaking" tips. Add vital wheat gluten to get a higher loaf. Adjusting the amount of yeast and water temperature will also give great results. We use the lighter crust setting for a softer, lighter loaf no matter what type we are making. We have not had a bad loaf yet. The blades are easy to remove once the bread has baked and clean-up is a breeze. This has turned into a family event! Lots of fun deciding which to try next and the kids love measuring and adding the extra's. We were also pleased with the versatility in not only making great loaves of bread and doughs, but also jams, cakes and even a meatloaf! (I will update once we've tried the jam recipes.) The timer setting is wonderful - waking up to the aroma of fresh baked bread is sure to put a smile on your face and start your day off right!

『This little machine is quite the performer and Zojirushi does a great job of explaining how to use it.

It's quiet and efficient. It's loaded with features that make it so much nicer than my old Breadman.

For example, it preheats the ingredients to ensure proper rising of the bread. It also keeps the bread on warm after baking to prevent sogginess. Also the paddles are designed in such a way as to reduce the probability of becoming embedded in the bread.

『I went from not knowing if I even needed a Bread machine to not wanting to live without it! This is a very easy to use, robust machine that pops out great bread after bread. It is not small, so think about counter and cabinet space, but because the loaf is horizontal, it is not as tall as some of the others. The bread is kneaded with 2 pedals, so the loafs are nice and evenly shaped, especially when you are making sourdough loafs involving a sponge. There is the availability of 3 custom cycles to totally customize based on your own recipes, but the pre-programmed cycles cover a large variety of applications. The machine is very easy to clean and handle. I recently read that the King Arthur Flour folks use this machine exclusively in their test kitchen. I can certainly understand why.』

『We have an older type bread maker that is about 20 years old. Makes a better boat anchor that it does a bread maker. We saw this and decided to buy it even though it was very pricey. We are not sorry for spending what we did because this is an incredible machine. We bake an average of three loaves a week and other than not being real happy about the crust selection on the whole wheat setting this machine is better than 5 stars. The dual paddles and the rectangular loaf is a dream come true. This is as close to perfect as you can get in a bread machine. The meat loaf, jam and cake settings blow me away too. Clean up is a breeze. This is not our first Zojirushi product and anything they make that I have purchased has been excellent in manufacture and use. You can not go wrong with this machine.』

『We have been using our Zojirushi bread maker for several years. Currently we make about a loaf a day. We have not purchased commercial bread in months.
Sometimes the loafs are not perfect. Who cares the bread is great and as we grind our own wheat it is very nutritious.
You get used to the holes on the bottom and they are a non-issue. We give loaves to our friends and neighbors and they love it.
If things do not work as expected there are suggestions in the manual to resolve possible problems.
Our experience is that as long as there is water, flour, and yeast the bread will turn out. It may be misshapen or not taste quite right (this happens when you forget the salt) but it is always good.』
