(Super Brush)
(Not made with brass anymore!)
(Excellent Weber quality!)
(T-brush is the best) Weber grills recommend brass bristles for cleaning the grates. This brush is supposed to have brass bristles (see picture), but ALL my brushes came with stainless bristles. BIG hassle! Very frustrated that I had to send ALL this stuff back. It bothers me when something is advertised one way and they send you something different. This brush is great. I was so tired of buying junk. This thing works and is a quality product. Go Weber!!! Didn't actually use the brush as when it arrived it had steel bristles and not brass (which is what I was looking for). Contacted Weber and they confirmed they switched over from brass to steel on this item so if you are looking specifically for a brass bristles brush, beware. Use this brush for both my kettle and gas grill. Cleans top, bottom, sides of grates with little effort. Nice long reach as well. Gunk doesn't accumulate on bristles either. Okay. I know it is just a brush but this thing works exceptionally well. Like most things from Weber it is better than one would expect. Easily cleans hard to reach spots between the cooking grate rods and in tight spaces at the edges of the cooking grate. Stainless Steel bristles are long-wearing and will not scratch porcelain enamel. Rerations < Weber 6424 21-Inch T-Brush >

Maverick Industries, Inc(2006-04-14)
Usually ships in 24 hours customer 's review (gosh mine works just fine)
(Could be better, okay for the price)
(somewhat disapointed)
(very unprecise and the range is a joke)
(Remote thermometer) maybe these products get modified for the better over time. mine works just fine. both probes work, my smoker and my grill are close so i put one in the grill and another in the smoker. they pair up easily before i ever insert the probe in the meat.
admission: i dont know how far the reciever works because i place it close to the transmitter.
i have another brand from williams sanoma and the reciever went bad right away. i still use it i just read the transmitter for the temp.
another point if using one probe dont get confused which probe you are reading the temp. from, if you do you will get the results i have read about on here. The temperature probes are accurate. I double checked by placing them in boiling water, then later in a glass with water and ice cubes. And accurate temperatures, are of course the most important thing. It has preset meat doneness alarms, which you can manually edit.
On the down side, the rage of the wireless feature isn't very good. My living room is right next to the area outside where I cook, and it works okay there, only an occasional loss of signal. But just about anywhere else in the house it's too undependable to trust. The unit has a very cheap feel to it, and the belt clip doesn't stay on. But then, it doesn't cost much either.
I use this on my smoker to monitor the meat I'm cooking, and also measure the temperature at the grate. It works fine for this, but be aware that you can only set a "high" temperature on this model. If you need a smoker thermometer that will alert you if your smoker temperature has fallen, you need a different unit. Maverick makes one called an ET-73. Received product right away. Directions not very good, does not explain to much on unit. Temperature does not work on base unit most of the time and range is not good at all. the product is a wonderful idea and has great potential, sadly it's range is so low that I basically have to sit next to the smoker.
The second issue is that it's extremely un precise by about 10-12 degrees, which makes it an adventure to cook food in a save way. As an avid outdoor chef, I find the Maverick remote thermometer to be a great tool for determining when to declare my meat done. The only minus that I have with the thermometer is the very limited range for the remote receiver. I find it has unreliable connection at distances an little as ten feet from the remote transmitter. The RediChek remote features a transmitter that reads the internal food termperature with a digital electronic food probe, then sends that information wirelessly up to 100 feet away, freeing you from standing next to the oven or grill during the cooking period. When the desired temperature is reached an alarm goes off! The taste or doneness of meats can be determined to be rare, medium, medium well, or well done based on the type of food and the internal temperature reached during cooking. Cooking a dinner-party roast, holiday turkey, or backyard-barbecue pork loin to precisely the proper temperature without fuss is a snap with this thermometer. You can even monitor two foods (beef and lamb, for instance) simultaneously, since two stainless-steel probes are included, each 6 inches long and each connected to a 39-inch stainless-steel wire. Here's how it works: program the tool (two AA batteries included) by selecting either "beef," "veal," "lamb," "pork," "chicken," or "turkey." Then program to rare, medium-rare, medium, or well-done. The monitor displays the proper temperature--which can be altered by pressing a button. Place the probe into, say, a turkey. Run the wire from the oven and close the door. (Door should remain closed until turkey is done so oven temperature doesn't vary.) Plug the wire into the monitor, and open the monitor's built-in stand. Set the clock to the current time. (Remember, two probes can be used simultaneously for different foods, with the monitor programmed separately for each.) The monitor constantly displays the turkey's internal temperature and elapsed cooking time. (The timer can be used independently of thermometer.) When the turkey reaches the selected temperature, an alarm sounds. Meanwhile, hook the pager (two AA batteries included) to your belt or drop it into your pocket. The pager beeps when the monitor's alarm sounds and works up to 75 feet away, liberating the cook from the kitchen. The probes can also be plugged into the pager, which displays a food's temperature on its LCD screen. So barbecuing brisket outside, roasting chicken in the oven, and keeping track of both is possible.--Fred Brack Rerations < Maverick Remote-Check Wireless Thermometer With 2 Probes >

(The BEST coffee!)
(Super coffee every time)
(A long term user)
(This makes great coffee) I bought this for my husband who has fallen in love with it. It makes an excellent cup of coffee. Now he can easily make himself a cup of coffee instead of dropping $4 on one at a coffee shop. This $25 contraption has saved us hundreds on a espresso machine and $4 a time each time he makes his own. We really are glad we bought it! I bought this because I wanted to have individual sized coffee, without the drip coffee taste (not very strong) and to avoid the cleanup hassle of a lot of other coffee making devices. I've got (had) a french press, I have a Bialetti stovetop espresso maker, and a small cheap espresso maker. They're all inexpensive (since I really don't feel like spending thousands on a specialized coffee maker). But they're all a hassle to clean up. This AeroPress makes cleanup a cinch and it makes excellent coffee! With the right bean grinder, you can make excellent pseudo-espresso! I still have not been able to make a lot of crema like some others who use this, but it's probably due to either the beans I'm using or something else.
I've been using the "cutter" bean grinders with it, and it makes good coffee, but if you want dark espresso flavor, you need a good burr grinder that can actually do espresso grinds. I just bought the Kyocera ceramic burr grinder and it is the best manual burr grinder I've tried, and it pairs with the AeroPress perfectly! Not only that, they're both portable! So I have my great cup of coffee every morning at work (even just using the beans the company buys!) while everyone else drinks the cheap drip stuff. I even get a little workout grinding the beans. All my coworkers who've tried the result from the press say it's the best flavorful espresso/coffee they've had with real caffeine kick!
I have had a decent quality (~$400) espresso machine, and a French press. The AeroPress is the one I go to. Great coffee with no sediment and less fuss than the espresso machine. AND you can't beat the price! I came across my Aerobe Press at a Goodwill in Columbus GA for 2 bucks. Being a gadget freak and enjoy STRONG coffee I have gone through just about every gadget that makes coffee. All have gone back to Goodwill or the Salvation Army for someone else to try. I have bought 4 of these to give as gifts. One I gave to a blue blood Coon A$$ from SW Louisiana who make potd of Community Dark in a Mr Coffee that can be used as stainless steel cleaner or paint remover in a pinch. I made him a cup of brew using 4 scoops of drip grind Community Dark and just off boiling water. Stirred it for a minute then did a slow press. He now carries his press everywhere. Me I like a little bitter bite with my coffee. I can control the taste and strength. While I may not be coffee connoisseur I know what I like. My ideal cup is strong and dark with a little bitter bite. Maybe not everybody ideal brew, but with the Aerobe Press I can make exactly what I want. It did take a lot of experimenting to know how much coffee, how hot the water, how long to stir and sit and length of press. It is simple to use and maintain. I have gotten over 50 presses on a single filter. In three yeare I have used less than 100 filters. Great product, well made and a dadgum good cup of coffee I needed a personal coffee maker for my office, which makes a cup at a time, and found the Aeropress. The surprising bonus is what great coffee it makes. The espresso shots it creates are smoother and richer than my espresso machine at home. Then I add some hot water to make an Americano that is superior to the brew from the French Press I had been using at the office.
Cleanup is easier than the French press, because I can easily pop the grounds out into the trash, rather than dumping the grounds from my french press down the drain of the break room sink.
I'm considering buying a second Aeropress to replace my home espresso machine. The AeroPress is an entirely new way to make coffee, American style or Espresso style for use in lattes, cappucinos and other espresso based drinks. AeroPress brews simply delicious coffee, 1-4 cups per pressing. Ideal water temperature and faster brewing yields rich flavor with lower acidity and without bitterness. Other brewing processes use near boiling water and long exposure to coffee grounds. Quickly brew a variety of coffee drinks including an Americano or an espresso-style shot for use in lattes or cappuccinos. Its total-immersion system permits extraction at a moderate temperature and a short brew time. Water and grounds are mixed together for 10 seconds, then gentle air pressure pushes the mix through a micro-filter in just 20 seconds, which avoids the bitterness of long processes such as drip brewing. The air pressure also gently squeezes the last goodness from the grounds, further enriching the flavor. The total brewing time of only 30 seconds results in an exceptionally smooth brew. (Great product)
(Awesome)
(FACS teacher) When I received this product I didn't know what to think. The texture of the baking mat was sticky and despite the positive reviews on amazon I was skeptical. After using the baking mat for different tasks from broiling a roast to making caramelized pecans/almonds (for salad), I hooked on this thing! I definitely plan to purchase this item as a stocking stuffer this Christmas (4 for 3 offer, oh yea!!) and spread the word that the Silpat baking mat should be a staple in all kitchens!!
The only downside I have found is that the mat has slowly lost its original color due to stains from the food placed on the mat. My Mom first turned me on to Silpats, and they are one product I think it a necessity for every kitchen. No more burnt edges on cookies, and baking in general is a much more forgiving craft with these. I use them with commercial cooking sheets, and they work great. Nothing sticks to them, and they clean up easily with warm water. They are very durable--my Mom's had hers for well over ten years. You won't regret these additions to your kitchen, and they are worth every penny of the price! Just love this. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because you can see the image of the products you baked after you wash it. Got a SilPat for myself, and then one for my sister-in-law. They are awesome. Always had problems with cookies sticking to the pan until I got the SilPat. They NEVER stick to it. Everybody should have at least one of these in their kitchen!!! Excellent for rolling cookie dough very thin. Bread dough doesn't stick to sliplat. So versatile, you can put sliplat on your pan and bake on it. It is easy to clean and store. My only disappointment was I didn't get a bigger size for rolling dough, however this fits a jelly roll pan perfect, so baking is easy. Baking has never been so easy. This baking mat works wonderfully as baking pan liner or as a working surface because of its silicon and fiberglass nonstick surface which makes it very easy to clean. It is completely safe in freezers or microwaves. Up to 3,000 uses or more per mat. Rerations < Silpat 11-5/8-by-16-1/2-Inch Nonstick Silicone Baking Mat >

(LOVE THIS OVEN!)
(hot dogs and pizza)
(Very good except for alarms)
(Love my oven) I was reluctant to buy this item, or any toaster oven -- they have changed so much since my last one was purchased. But this has proved to be an excellent machine - very versatile and adjustable and very consistent.
What makes it work for me is that I bought, along with it, a Nonstick Toaster Oven Liner. Spills and crumbs catch on it, I slip it out the front (no need to deal with the design flaw of the machine--i.e. the crumb tray comes out the back), and is clean with a shake or wipe. My husband and I did exhaustive research prior to purchasing this oven. I read all of the reviews for this as well as all other makes/models we were considering and this seemed to have the fewest number of "major" drawbacks. So far, we LOVE it. It works great, the instructions are simple and the controls are relatively intuitive (you really need to read the instructions, which takes about 10 seconds for any particular item). Some reviewers said the oven is large - it cooks a pizza, so I am not sure what was expected as far as size. Others complained about the door hitting their hand when the oven was opened - we haven't had that problem. Others complained about the crumb tray sliding out from the back - perhaps a minor inconvenience but really not a big deal. Finally, there were complaints about the tray not sliding out automatically when the door is opened - I am actually glad it doesn't. I have used ovens in the past that have that feature, which doesn't allow you to pull the tray out as far as you would like. I highly recommend this product! This toaster oven is great. I got it for my birthday so I can reheat pizza and cook hot dogs but it does so much more. Last night I bake four chicken breasts in it and it worked perfectly. I have eve toasted some bread and that worked awesomely. I toasted some thick crusty Italian bread once and loved how it turned out. Very good toaster oven, especially the convection oven feature. Exceptions noted below. Pros: convection oven cooks foods evenly and quickly, numerous cooking options - bake/toast/broil, relatively easy to follow push buttons (once the manual is read), easy to clean, contains cooking odors pretty well, nice large size (easily toasts 6 slices of bread), sturdy construction (so far) Cons: Alarms are very loud; not silence-able or adjustable and unnecessary in some cases (i.e. when convection temp is reached); hefty price tag, tray doesn't slide out when door is opened, top of oven gets quite hot If you have the $$$ to spend on a higher-end, large countertop oven, this one is it. I looked for over a year for a toaster oven that was safe, easy to clean and whose temps did not vary widely. Bought a few - returned a few. This one heats quickly, clean up is a breeze, bakes true to setting (still watch it so I don't burn anything) and ease of operation. The only minuses are the crumb tray in back and it does get hot on the outside. Nothing is perfect though. Also love the look in my kitchen and it is sturdy but not too heavy. I always unplug after use just in case. Today's busy lifestyle have made the multifunctional countertop oven more popular than ever. This Cuisinart Toast Oven Broiler features state-of-the-art electronic touchpad controls and a stainless steel bar handle and side grips to give it a popular commercial look. Four versatile cooking options and an extra-large capacity are great for everyday cooking, and make it a convenient second oven for side dishes and desserts. (amazing juicer)
(Professional grade, easy to clean)
(Overall, this is the best juicer on the market. Far better than the Omega 8005.)
(Fantastic juicer! I'd buy it again.) Great Juicer, however the instructions had mentioned dishwasher safe and not all the pieces are safe to put in the dishwasher. The plastic piece to push down the fruit expanded in the dishwasher and no longer fits properly. This happened only after a few uses. I tried calling but it is impossible to get through to a live agent. They do give you an option to leave your phone number and they do get back to you. But if you are not around when they return your call, you have to go through the same thing all over again.
It has been some years since I had used a juicer and since I turned fifty I decided to be more mindful of my health. I also have the opportunity to spend more time with my dad who is in his eighties, since his wife recently passed away.
I purchased the Breville 800EXL after much research and am I glad I did. It is great looking, all stainless steel, nice and sturdy and boy is it powerful. I get so much juice out of my vegetables compared to what I used to have to use to get the same amount from my previous juicers.
Lastly, it is easy to clean. If you are serious about juicing, this is a great appliance!!! After obsessively researching my options, I decided to pay a few extra dollars for the Juice Fountain elite. My mom has a Breville product that serves her well, and the easy clean up promised in the description calmed my fears of leaning over the sink for fifteen minutes after every juicing session. I couldn't be happier with my decision. The unit is surprisingly powerful, and it comes apart and cleans easily with the included brush. The stainless and thick plastic design provides an impression of solidity and quality and adds to the kitchen's decor. Time will tell if the juicer is as durable as it looks, but it has delivered so far. Highly recommended. Originally I had the Breville Juicer and was happy with it's speed, ease of use and quickness to clean. However, I did notice that the pulp on soft fruits was not the driest. I sold the Breville on Amazon and bought the Omega and after 3 three uses, I am going back to the Breville. Although the pulp of the Omega was very dry, more so that the Breville, the time it takes to prepare the veggies/fruits and labor of pushing them through the smaller chute sucks the marrow out of juicing. Likewise, I wasn't a fan of the plastic auger, especially compared to the stainless steel centrifuge on the Breville. Not to mention the difference in amount of juice from carrots and celery that each machine produced is negligible. Even with the leafy veggies the difference didn't seem to be too much. I guess I'm an "experienced juicer" - I owned a Juiceman II a few years ago, used it to make all kinds of juice. It was a decent little unit.
But I was ready to move up. Having been around the juice carousel once, I knew what I wanted. Here are the things that the Breville Juice Fountain does like no other:
1) It's easy to clean. If you don't think this matters, you've never used a juicer. Every part can go in the dishwasher. Parts that get heavy exposure to juice are brushed steel, so they don't stain. Every part can go in the dishwasher. The plastic parts are clear so you can see where the bits of pulp are hiding. The pulp can is specially shaped and sized to hold the bag that you used to hold your fruits and vegetables at the grocery store. And did I mention: every part can go in the dishwasher? That's huge.
2) It doesn't drip, splatter, or spray. In other words, it's designed right. After a huge juicing session, your countertop will be clean beneath the machine.
3) It's loaded with POWER. Sure, it has a huge 3" juicing feed tube - big enough to accept a whole medium sized apple - and that's neat. But if the disk at the bottom is going to slow down and bog when you press a whole apple on it, what good is that? None, because you'll end up having to take the machine apart, fishing a half-juiced stuck chunk out of the stuck disk, if there isn't enough power. The Breville's 1000 watt motor macerates an entire apple in less than half a second without even appreciably slowing down. And it could care less about seeds or stems, although you don't want to put too much wood down the feedpipe because you will drink bitter wood juice if you do.
4) It's quiet. This is a side effect of the POWER, I think. Since the motor doesn't bog, it does its business efficiently without a lot of waste energy being dissipated as noise. It's not whisper quiet, but you could probably use it in the kitchen without waking up hubby in the bedroom. If your cat is sleeping in the kitchen, though, she'll wake up.
5) It's got a really fine screen. Much finer than the one on the Juiceman. This means that there's no pulp in your beautifully colored, clear juices. It also means that the pulp is not quite as dry, and that you might have to work a little bit with the included stiff bristle brush to clean it to keep it operating efficiently. That's fine.
6) It has two speeds - fast for hard fruits and veggies like carrots, ginger, and apples; slow for soft ones like grapes, berries, peaches, tomatoes, and peeled citrus. No compromise.
Basically this is just a well-designed unit. Even the power plug has a hole in it so you can pull it out easily with 1 finger. There are no annoying nooks and crevices where unreachable pulp can hide. The included juice pitcher has a separate fill port that fits the spout perfectly, and a pour spout that has a special anti-foam ledge. And it's clear, with graduations every 2 ounces so you know just how much juice you've made. It feels like this is the juicer you'd design if you'd been thinking about juicers for many years.
And you can get it shipped right to your door! The health benefits of fresh, unoxidized juice are incomparable. The labor savings are incredible - have you considered soup stock? Celery, onions, tomatoes, peppers? Healthy and delicious! And I'm looking forward to putting the Breville's output to work in my Cuisinart ice cream maker!
The only caution I'd give is that if you drink 30 carrots the first day you get the machine, you might find yourself to be in violation of your states' "emissions laws" - if you know what I mean, and I think you do!
So, what are you waiting for? The Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite with 1000 watts is super efficient. This model has an Italian made electronic motor that increases power under yield to maintain filter revolutions. It has two speeds for soft and hard fruits and a three inch feed tube which minimizes preparation and feeding time. Beautifully designed stainless die cast steel housing and motor body makes it a work of art on the countertop. Rerations < Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite 1000-Watt Juice Extractor >

(Terrible Taylor Thermometer)
(It just works...) I rely on this thermometer for all of my cooking needs. It's used weekly for baking artisan breads, as well as testing meats.
Recently, I was teaching my nieces to bake artisan bread, and discovered that my sister had three non-functional thermometers (tested in boiling water, they read 145, 162, and 180). I ordered her this same thermometer (love Amazon Prime), telling her how pleased I've been with it. She can throw out the single-purpose thermometers, and enjoy a single one that really works!
You can choose F or C, and the thermometer can be calibrated (I've never needed to). For the price, I don't think you can beat this thermometer. The only way you could improve it would be to update the homely gold plastic. I am very happy with this thermometer. I did take someones advice about dipping it into the liquid before turning it on. Doing it that way makes the reading come up almost immediately. It is extremely accurate and easy to use. This little thermometer has made my cheese making so much easier. This is the best food thermometer that I have come across. Its a bit expensive but I feel that it is worth it for the high quality. For nearly 30 years, I've used Taylor and other brand thermometers for checking the temperature of baby bird food, which must not be too hot or it will burn their delicate crop tissue - and not too cool to where they won't eat enough. I've only had this waterproof thermometer for about a month and it is already not "dead", but constantly "live" and won't shut off. It's going back on the slow boat to China. It might still be ON if the battery holds out.
As others have noted, it is slow compared to other products and other Taylor digital thermometers.
The on button was always hard to depress. The readout was ok...no better than any other. I liked the length of it since it fit good inside a mug that is half full. I pray that we can get back to good quality controlled USA made products. I'm so tired of out-of-country JUNK. I try very hard not to buy Chinese or Mexican products, but it's almost unavoidable. If I can do without them, I do. I thought Taylor was US made. Not so! I bought this thermometer to replace an aging analog variant. Right out of the packaging it read 212 degrees F in a pot of boiling water. I've used it successfully on a variety of meats (beef, poultry&pork) and each one has come out exactly as I wanted. The antibacterial shield provides an extra layer of comfort. I have not had any of the moisture problems other reviewers have mentioned. (A list of better pod choices)
(Senseo Coffee Pods)
(Much better than the Dark or Medium Roast.) Smells great! Now i just have to get the Juan Valdez coffee maker t work.. if not, I'm getting a senseo! You get 4 bags of delicious coffee to use in your Senseo Machine! This coffee ensamble has four delicious coffees at a price that just can't be beat. I love the Senseo coffe maker since it makes the morning coffee routein so easy especially when brewing for one! Highly recommended! Everyone I know that uses a pod brewer at home or work loves it. Fresh coffee made to order, endless variety, no waste, etc. It is a shame that so many settle for the coffee pods made by big commerical roasters like Melitta and Douwe Egberts. The blends used by these big companies are bland and boring compared to all the great coffees offered by smaller roasters. Having had the opportunity to taste a variety of pods, I hope the list below of my favorites is helpful. Many of these are also much better coffee at a lower price! Many of the pods listed below are around 30¢ per pod, while the Senseo pods are over 31¢. All the specialty coffee pods below are also individually wrapped for freshness too.

I hope the list above is helpful in getting the most from your Senseo! These Senseo coffe pods are delicious! I am a coffee lover and have tried many brands, but the Senseo is far the best! The frothy coffee is very satisfying! Highly recommend this coffee! I love the Senseo and it was great being able to get more variety of pods in addition to the dark or medium roast that my local grocery store sells. The Vienna Hazelnut pods provide with a great tasting coffee; the flavor is not too strong, it is just perfect. For the Coffee adventurer that loves to explore the Sensational world of Coffee. (Love it!)
(Great buy!)
(A little Powerhouse D!!)
(Love my little one-cup coffee maker) This little coffee maker is a great little appliance for any single or mug a day coffee drinker. It's a miser, only two tablespoons of ground coffee gives you a great, moderately strong large mug of coffee. Only five minutes from start to finish, it shuts itself off and has an easy to clean permanent filter too. I take it with me when I go camping, it's small and there's no glass pot to break. This is one of my favorite appliance purchases.Black&Decker DCM18S Brew 'n Go Personal Coffeemaker with Travel Mug I've only had this product for a short while, but so far I'm in love. I couldn't find a personal coffeemaker anywhere in my local area. So, this was a great deal and it works wonderfully. I don't drink coffee, so maybe this isn't this most recommended review, but my hot tea is fabulous. The maker handles standard sized coffee mugs, none of the tall ones, but I'm sure everyone has mugs (besides the one it comes with) that will be accomodated by this maker. I especially appreciate the auto shut-off feature. I would definitely recommend this product to those that need a hot drink fix for one (I keep mine on my desk at work). Great buy! It doesn't need a paper filter and it's ideal to drink it at home or on the go. A lady had given me my first Brew 'n go Coffeemaker with Travel Mug. That was approximately 2 or more years ago. I ordered me another one about a month ago because I was scared mine might go out and I wouldn't have another, so I absolute had to have another one!! My sister came to visit and loved it's performance so much that she ordered herself one online. It is without a doubt the best Coffeemaker I've ever owned and I'm 65 years old. I will without a doubt make sure I always have one in possession. I must admit tho' that I use #2 coffee filters in my Coffeemaker. They are readily available and they work better than the filter that comes with it. IT'S THE VERY GREATEST PEOPLE !!!!!!! I've used several of these different kinds of one-cup coffee makers over the years, and so far the Black&Decker Brew 'n Go Personal Coffee Maker is one of the best I've encountered. It makes a consistent cup of coffee day in and day out, is easy to clean, and comes with its own little handy travel mug. I have no complaints. I would recommend this for anyone who has a cup-a-day habit, or like me, has one cup on the way to work, and then drinks one cup of the nasty free stuff once my first cup is gone. This coffee maker is an excellent value; you will love it. Wouldn't this make a great gift for a student, or a commuter? The machine brews right into the thermal travel mug and then shuts itself off, so your favorite coffee lover can simply grab and go! Great for commuters, office professionals, and one-coffee-drinker households, this personal coffeemaker brews 15 ounces of coffee directly into a stainless-steel travel mug. The mug has a rubber handle for a safe grip and a lid to keep coffee hot. It's tapered to a 2-1/2-inch-diameter bottom, so it fits most vehicle cup holders. The coffeemaker itself is designed for an on-the-go coffee drinker. It has a permanent filter--no messy disposable paper filters required--and shuts off automatically after brewing. The mug, filter, filter basket, and mug lid are dishwasher-safe, and the coffeemaker can also be used to heat water for tea, hot chocolate, and instant foods like oatmeal and soup. Made of gleaming black plastic, it measures 9-3/4 inches high, 7 inches wide, and 6 inches deep, and carries a one-year warranty against defects.--Fred Brack Rerations < Black&Decker DCM18S Brew 'n Go Personal Coffeemaker with Travel Mug >

(awesome)
(Tea maker... oh how I love you)
(Zarafina Tea Maker)
(Perfect tea every time!) I give this product 4 stars, I enjoy it so much, I can experiment with different teas making up my own special tea. If I know the tea is strong, I can adjust it to mild brewing, if it is a weak light tea, I adjust to strong brewing. The process is enjoyable and entertaining.
Not all teas are of the same quality, if you are picky learn about all the different type of tea and experiment. Greene teas are the hardest to choose from due to the many varities, so do some research and have fun learning about teas.
Another benefit is that one tea bag placed on moderate or strong saves money in that it makes two good cups of tea instead of just one cup.
My only qualm is that I wish it could dispense one cup at a time and leave the second cup to stay warm for the next cup, but I still give it a 5 star rating!
I love it and when this one breaks, I will replace it with a new one!
Enjoy, Ponchan
i never had hot tea taste so good. I just thought I liked it before, now I love it Oh tea maker, you are so wonderful. How did I ever live without you?
It's love I tell you, pure love. I love my Zarafina tea maker. It makes the perfect cup of tea after a long and stressful day. It is great if you love tea from loose tea leaves. I had no idea the green tea I was making was so bad until I purchased the Zarafina tea maker. Excellent cup of tea! I now own 2 units, one for work and one for home. I haven't experienced any negatives so far! The Zarafina tea maker suite unlocks the art of tea making for a new generation. The 16-ounce-capacity tea maker comes in dark shale with stainless-steel accents--the finishing touches that embody fine design. Two ceramic tea cups, a tea pot, and a serving tray are included; 1-year limited warranty. Rerations < Zarafina Tea Maker Suite with Ceramic Tea Pots, Cups, and Serving Tray >
