BlongoBall
Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Fun game!) 『This game has gained popularity with the tailgate crowd, but it's also so fun in the backyard or at the beach! It's a total crowd pleaser. You will not be disappointed!』
(A great family game) 『BlongoBall is a very entertaining outdoor game for family members from about six years and up. It is well made and very easy to assemble. The basics of the game are simple to learn, although becoming skilled at playing can take a little while. For those with physical challenges, there's no reason why shortening the throwing distance can't be done. (My wife's 95-year-old wheelchair-bound aunt made that observation immediately after having the game described to her, noting that it would be a great game for the folks in her nursing home.)』
(Great product) 『My husband and I bought this ladderball set after reading the positive reviews online, and we were not disappointed. It is easy to assemble and sturdy. We had a lot of fun playing it this summer in both the yard and on the beach. I would recommend buying the Blongo bag (which comes separately) because it is not easy to repack the box once you have taken it out and the cardboard box will definitely fall apart over time.』
(Happy days) 『My family loves to play together and in searching for something new i found BlongoBall. What a treat. On each holiday we all gather (13-20 of us) at my house and after a bountiful dinner we search for family recreation. For years its been Bad Minton, horseshoe, croquet and in bad weather its various board games. We set BlongoBall up on Labor Day weekend and everyone had a bang up time playing. What a find. I highly recommend it.』
(Great Quality BlongoBall Set!) 『 I am very pleased with the quality if this set. Very Sturdy and well made. I purchased a different set from Big 5 and it was a JUNK! I would recommend this set without question.....』 『Physical education and classroom teachers can use this game to teach math, literature and hand-eye coordination to kids of all ages and abilities. Players take turns tossing the BlongBalls at the opposite goal trying to wrap them on one of the three bars. Each bar scores different points while points are subtracted when a players balls are knocked off by their opponent. Set includes 2 goals (3'H x 2'W), 2 sets of 3 outdoor balls and instructions.』 『Liven up your camping trips and family reunions with this full BlongoBall set. Appropriate for use both outdoors and indoors, BlongoBall combines elements from bocce, horseshoes, croquet, and other lawn sports, but adds a unique twist: rather than throwing a ball or a shoe, you throw a BlongoBall, which is technically two small spheres connected by a thin stretch of rope. The goal is to wrap your BlongoBall around one of the horizontal bars of the BlonGoal, which stands 25 feet away (or less if kids are playing). Players score one, two, or three points with a successful throw, depending on which bar the BlongoBall grabs. And the game ends when one person or team reaches 21 points exactly. You can even add a bit of defensive strategy to the game by trying to knock your opponent's BlongoBalls off the bars.
BlongoBall is fun for kids and families, but it's also great for physical education classes, teambuilding games, or even as a rehab tool in a therapy setting. The BlongoBall set comes with two BlonGoals and two sets of BlongoBalls. Players can also purchase such accessories as extra BlongoBalls, a carrying bag, and a portable score tower.
About BlongoBall Mike Long and his wife, Roberta, were early retirees who spent much of their time fishing, hunting, rafting, boating, and RVing. When Mike was introduced to the rudimentary concept of BlongoBall, he decided that the game merited serious development and investigation. Mike built the prototype game and used all of his friends as test subjects. BlongoBall was tested on the beaches of Lake Powell, on raft trips on the Salmon River, on the beaches of San Diego, and in parks and campgrounds form the southwest to the northwest. In every location, passersby would stop and interrupt the games to find out where they could buy BlongoBall. The enthusiastic response encouraged Mike to continue to refine the rules and goal configurations.
After months of design, research and testing, Mike applied for and received a patent for BlongoBall, which has been enthusiastically received by kids and adults of all ages since its release. Founded in 2004, BlongoBall is located in Spokane, Washington.

Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Protecting ears) 『These are great earmuffs. I am the typical old guy with trashed hearing. The protection shooting handguns is great. In addition, when I wear these earmuffs I can actually hear better; i.e., they are like a hearing aide. I also love how they fold up as shown in the photo. You could pay more, but I don't think you find a better product.』
(Best Hearing Protection Muff on the Market) 『As a hunter, I want to protect my valuable hearing from the muzzle blast noise. I have tried several brands of hearing protectors, and have found these to be the best in terms of overall quality, comfort, effectiveness, and cost.
Pros:
1. The set is lighweight and they are comfortable to wear all day long without making one's ears sore. 2. The sound suppression is reliable and efficient. The blast of a rifle or shotgun is muffled to the extent that it is barely audible. 3. The volume can be turned up to actually hear better than "normal" hearing. The sounds amplified are those typically made by animals rustling in the leaves, grass, or the crackling of sticks and brush. 4. They run on two 3A batteries included with the set. The batteries will easily last 2 or more days even with continuous use. 5. The muffs have a plug-in for exterior radio, MP3 players, etc. 6. The muffs fold up into a compact size that can fit into a large coat pocket if necessary. 7. Compared to other much more expensive "name" brands, these muffs cost much less, are more reliable, and produce quality hearing and loud noise reduction. 8. Best of all, one can actually tell where a sound is coming from when wearing these muffs! Other brands claim this feature, but this brand actually makes it a reality.
Cons:
There really are no cons to this muff set. The only disadvantage (and this is common to all muffs), is that one will bump "clunk" into the stock of a firearm when shouldering aiming. If you know beforehand it is coming, the "clunk" can be minimized.
I would not hunt or shoot without these muffs. I have tried much more expensive brands (Walkers), and some "in the ear" models, but these are the best I have experienced. I consider these muffs the best on the market.

(Great bargain) 『I bought the earmuff for shooting handguns and feel that the product does what it claims to do. I like the compact and slim line look. The comfort is good too. The volume control takes a little getting used. By turning up the volume too much, you start getting what they call "white noise." Overall, when you compare this product to other comparible electronic earmuffs, it really is a good deal. Other similar products will easily cost you $80-100.』
(I can't believe my ears!) 『After reading the reviews I bought two sets of these for my wife and I to use during deer hunts. They amplify sounds great, didn't have any distortion in high winds and cut out instantly while we were at the range today. We own Midland gmrs radios so the jack in the Leights was a major factor in trying these out. I had to modify the Midland headset/mics since they have a combined two prong plug. One thing about the Leight's and radio transmitors, the radios need to be well away from the headsets or they pick up radio interferance. The supplied cord combined with the modified Midland cord is long enough to position the radio on the hip and the headset does not get the radio interference at that distance. If your interested in the Midland modification, you'll need to get the headset that has the microphone seperated from the earpiece, cut off the earpiece, cut plug off the cord Leight provides and splice them together.
They are also very comfortable to wear even when wearing eyeglasses. They didn't pinch in yet still managed to get enough of a seal to protect our hearing. I'll post another review after deer season if anything would change my rating for these. We'll see how the batteries hold up during cold North Dakota hunts. Definitly well worth the money spent here on Amazon, under $100 for two sets with free shipping. Even if these dont work out for hunting, they can't be beat for a day at the range.
Update; Found a minor issue with them. They will buzz when you are walking near overhead power lines. Not too bad but you definitly don't want to stand or walk under power lines for too long or it can get annoying. It's amazing how well they pick up sound, I heard deer moving in heavy cover.』
(For the price, excellent; average overall.) 『I bought these for my wife. I was originally going to get her a pair of Peltor Tactical 6s electronic earmuffs because I had ALWAYS heard high praise for them--and I use a pair of Tac 7s myself, which I'll never give up--but then I read some of the negative reviews on the Amazon product page (I wonder how many are schills?). So based on the negative Amazon reviews and the meager NRR 19, I opted to pass on the 6s. I'm not sure how I stumbled onto these Howard Leight earmuffs, but they looked good on paper and the reviews were mostly positive, and I'm very familiar with, and confident in, the Howard Leight name, so I figured why not?
Before buying these, my wife had been previously using the Howard Leight Leightning-31 earmuffs (non-electronic, NRR 31), so I was _really_ worried about the drop in NRR with her. We went to an indoor range yesterday and shot a .40SW pistol (the .40SW has a sharp pressure spike, and hence percussion wave, and being indoors amplifies things, so this was a really good test of the earmuff's effectiveness). After we were done she said that she "likes" these muffs, and "has no problem" with them. They're a keeper! She did have one complaint. She says that they squeeze her head too tightly (not uncomfortably, just a tighter, snugger fit than she's used to) and interfere with her eye protection. We both understand that the tight fit is necessary to seal the ear, so that's not a problem in our minds, but she says she "needs to figure something out" w.r.t. the shooting glasses because that bugs her.
Of course, I tried these muffs out also. I gotta admit, for the price they are pretty darn good. The amplification is above average and you can hear normal conversation easily. They cut out when they should, but the recovery time after a shot is slow (that bothers other people a lot more than it does me). Come to think of it, the power-on time is pretty darn slow, too. Regardless, these muffs are another winner in the Howard Leight product line as far as I'm concerned.
However, whenever a review includes the phrase "for the price", that should raise a flag (IMO); i.e. you gotta look at the big picture as well as the niche. Yes, these are excellent hearing protectors for the price, but overall they're not all that great in comparison to other models on the market. They do their job, though.
Since these are not marketed as "tactical" earmuffs, an LED power indicator would have been nice. My wife will eventually get used to having to turn off her hearing protection, but a power indicator as a reminder wouldn't hurt. On the plus side, these muffs have an automatic shut-off feature to compensate for forgetfulness.
The included instructions are minimal and poorly written. Case in point, they tell you to insert the batteries into the battery compartment, but don't tell you how to open the battery compartment! [Slide the lid vertically toward the headband.] A little common sense goes a long way here.
Bottom line: All babble aside, I'd recommend these earmuffs. Based on my wife's input and my short exposure to them, I think they do an adequate job; and yes, the cost-effective pricing is hard to ignore.』 『Howard Leight Electronic Sport Earmuffs w/Black&Green Finish Md: R01526, The Impact series enhances user awareness of their environment through advanced sound amplification technology. Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Great Product) 『Easy to read, but no back light. I use helmet mounted Planet Bike Spok lights pointed down to see the Cateye at night. Works great. Easy to scroll through the different displays by pressing on the whole unit. The whole unit moves, clicking a hidden button under the unit. The Cateye is very small and it's easy to see the MPH and you can see the data under the MPH fairly easy, but it takes some getting used to. I wish they made the MPH slightly smaller and made the data underneath a bit larger. As the product picture above shows... you can easily see "Tm" which means Time. That picture is greatly blown up and you (I) can not read that or any other label while out riding. I guess this is a minor thing though as you really don't need to read the "Tm" to realize your looking at the time. But, on others like, Distance 1 and Distance 2 it can be hard to tell the difference. I have memorized the different screens and their order, so it's all good now.
This is the first computer I've owned and was a little worried about going wireless as I've heard they are unstable. I have had no problems so far.
All in all, its a great little computer. Very nice looking and compact.
』
(Happy casual cyclist) 『I am a weekend recreational cyclist with aspirations for a bit more training in the future. The Cateye Strada has just enough features for my level of recreation: odometer, two trip meters, speedometer and even max speed and average speed for a given ride. I have just one bike, a mountain bike. But would like to get a road bike sometime as well. The Strada can keep data on two bikes so that is nice.
I REALLY like not having any wires between the computer and the sensor. I was surprised and delighted I could get a wireless unit for the price offered.
If you are a casual cyclist who wants some basic features plus a little more, this is a good product choice.』
(Cateye CC-RD300W strada wireless) 『I have this computer for almost a month. It been on 4 rides. It fits perfectly on my Thomson stem. This computer has the basic functions. The measurement is correct compare to map. If you don't need anything fancy, this computer is for you.』
(Not for recumbents !) 『The package doesn't mention the requirement to have the back of the computer face the sensor within a certain distance. This is a real problem for a recumbent with underseat steering. I have not been able to solve this yet so I have not been able to use it.』
(Bought as a gift) 『I bought this as a gift for a new, very enthusiastic bike rider, now doing marathons. She LOVED it! For ease of use even on rough terrain, simply pressing the bottom of the screen toggles through the computer's modes. The selected mode displays at the bottom of the screen, while current speed appears at the top in large, easy-to-read numerals. An up/down arrow compares current speed to average speed.
Other features include dual tire size, programmable odometer, pace arrow, automatic start/stop, and automatic power-saving mode. The computer runs on two CR2032 batteries (included), one for the head unit and the other for the sensor. Maximum wireless transmission distance is 27 inches. The twin size (THIS BED) sets up quickly and FIRM! Whereas the queen size bed id more burdensome in size and labor. I recommend this twin size bed by Intex model.』
(More comfortable than a sofa) 『I have used this airbed for 5 months, and it is rather comfortable. I keep it inflated for months, and use it as a permanent bed. I have observed no severe leakage. Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (WAY better than my old bulb 3 D Cell Maglite) 『I've had 3-D Cell Maglites for years. 2 of them (because they last forever). I stopped using them in favor of the little AAA powered 9 LED cheap handhelds for day to day flashlite needs. I recently decided to get a 3 D cell LED Maglite to take the dog out at night in the winter months. I wanted AAA brightness and longevity with better lite throwing / focus power / with something that has some heft to it.
I am EXTREMELY pleased with my purchase of the LED version of the Maglite. If you liked your old Maglite, and were concerned about the LED version measuring up. You will be very happy.
』
(Great Product, especially for the price) 『I bought this product to use at my work and its just great. Very durable and bright. I own other MagLites with the tradition kypton bulbs (Which work decent for general purposes)but this LED one takes the gold. Good on battery life and doesnt dim much when batteries are low. Overall I love this product and the price of $25 is a steal. I recommend this flashlight to anyone.』
(Classic Qlassic Quality of MAGLITE) 『This new LED flashlight by MAGLITE is the best thing. I bought one for my Wife at Christmas and she enjoyed using if for our farm that I ordered a second.
』
(Really happy with this purchase) 『We just got it today, but can tell already it is what we need. We have a triple city lot and we have a dog that goes crazy when she sees things in the open lot area of our property. We leave her out at night and like to make sure she does "her business" before we call her back in. So, even though we just got it today we already know it is going to do the job for us. Angel spotted a rabbit tonight at dusk and got fixated on it. We wanted to take her out around 8:30 and had to be sure the rabbit did not make it into the yard where the house is. The flashlight shone a nice bright light that picked up the rabbits eyes in the far corner of the lot. We have been using a Makita flashlight I got my husband more than 20 years ago, that flashlight lost the extra battery by no longer being able to hold a charge so I looked online and found this one. We compared the Maglite to the Makita and this new one is a much stronger and brighter beam than the Makita. It has more of a white light than a yellow one of the Makita』
(impressed) 『everything you would expect from a maglight only BRIGHTER than you can imagine! Great product and great price.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Good for Night Running) 『I am happy with this headlight works well for night running. I often run on sidewalks next to a poorly-lit road, so proper lighting is important for me. The adjustable brightness and position are easy to configure while in stride, and the flashing light setting adds offers additional safety. I also have a Black Diamond Ion, but this headlamp is much more useful versatile.
Cons: 1) No rear flashing safety light 2) Band is too thick 3) Lamp should have a lower profile--looks a little goofy
』
(great night light, but not optimum for every runner) 『I purchased this Petzl light on the basis of price and the generally high reviews. I'm a runner, and I purchased it for that specific purpose: night runs. More specifically still, I wanted a light that would help me run not so much on roads and darkened park paths as on one particular gravel path that heads directly into the forest here in Oxford, Mississippi (the so-called Whirlpool woods, with a trailhead directly adjacent to a Whirlpool manufacturing plant).
Although the unit works beautifully, as advertised, it just doesn't have quite enough light to make THAT sort of night running comfortable. It worked great in a somewhat more open setting, Lake Patsy Park, where there was a bit of ambient light here and there from streetlights, park lights, etc. It works really well on darkened (but not pitch-black) country roads. But when you're heading directly into a forest where deer are often found, and where there have been confirmed reports of coyotes and the occasional bobcat--well, I did that last night, and only made it one mile in before turning around and heading back. It's a fine little light, but some trail-running applications, I think, demand something more. The $40 I spent were NOT wasted; I'll use this baby for many less-demanding night-running applications. But I've decided to spring $100 for the Petzl RYO.』
(Worth the money) 『The Petzl E49P is lightweight and bright enough for close-in tasks. What I like about this is the fact that it uses only 3 AAA batteries, LED's and battery life. Like I mentioned before it's lightweight, and it does not cause any forehead discomfort for long extended use. I am very satisfied with this product. Just keep in mind that this lamp is good for "arms length" illumination. It can guide you through a dark forest, but don't expect it to perform like a SureFire and light up the whole hillside.』
(Headlamp comments) 『The light is easy to use and lights up a wide area on the medium setting. My husband and I walk together before it's light in the morning and our streets have no street lights. We are able to walk side by side and only need the one light.』
(Fantastic Trail Light) 『I am impressed! This is just a fantastic light for trail running. It's hard to think about those runs in the wood at night with a flash light. From the first time I used it is was a WOW. It provides ample light to run on the single track trails at night with multiple settings. It is comfortable on the head and easy to adjust or turn on and off. It's opened up a hole new world. PS: My daughter thought is was so cool to go running in the woods at night. It must be good!』 『A version of the Tikka Plus...this ultra-lightweight 4-LED headlamp features a red filter for discrete light and night vision preservation, 3 brightness settings (maximum, optimum, economic) and a blinking mode. It sports battery life of up to to 150 hours on regular settings (up to 400 hours on blinking mode). It's water resistant and comfortable to wear. Red filter for discrete light and preservation of user's night vision. 3 lighting levels (maximum, optimum, economic) and strobe mode, to adapt the light to the activity and at and light duration needs. Adjustable elastic headband for comfort and to secure it in place. Light beam can be easily aimed where desired. Water resistant for all-weather use. Batteries included (3AAA).』

It was the end of the day and it was getting dark out!!! This POS!!! gps had us going in the wrong direction!!! My adult son was arguing with me insisting the gps was correct, it was NOT!!! Like I said Thank "God" I'm an old-timer with a good backwoods sense of direction and got us both out of a potentially dangerous situation!!! DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT IT WILL GET YOU LOST!!! 』
(Great!) 『I use this GPS for hunting... I expected something to guide me on the woods and mark spots and this little cheap GPS works incredible well for what I needed. However, it is true that patient will you need when working with it. Very confusing sometimes navegating through the menus. Other than that... great It really does its work. Happy with it.』
(Good GPS) 『This GPS is cheap a decent. very accurate. HOWEVER is doesn't come with links cable, that another $25.00 and god forbid you have a new computer without 9 pin serial port watch out the USB converter costs 55.00, so might as well buy upgraded version.』
(Perfect for price! Mac users will also be happy!) 『I had spent weeks researching what type of GPS I was going to get. I was new to Geocaching but wanted something that would help teach me the simplicities and ease me into it. I have been pleasantly surprised! I had read so many reviews on this GPS that I pretty much new the little tricks since the manual is totally worthless. There is a multitude of info on the web since this Garmin has been around for so long. Here are some helpful items (free or cheap) to help any Mac users out there...
-Purchase USB&PC data Cable for Garmin Etrex H GPS from KAWA on ebay. It was $[...] for shipping. Had it here in a flash and have been really happy with it. So if anyone tells you that you can't use a USB, they're full of it.... - Next go to [...] and download their manager. Neat little application.
The only thing to note is that you will need to download this: [...] driver in order for it to work with MacCaching as they provided a different driver that didn't work. The one on apple's website does work though.
Again, I have been really happy with this little device. I like that it doesn't show you all the maps because then it makes it that much more fun and teaches you the fundamentals of navigation!』
(Simple...but, that's the point.) 『Context:
This is my first GPS. I am no luddite, I have built my own PC more than once, and am generally excited by technology -- when it works (don't get me started on the awful disappointment that is every mobile phone and mobile phone network on the planet). I am an avid mostly car camper/day hiker, though I have aspirations of weekend-long hikes (crowds do tend to chafe). In the Marine Corps, I was trained to actually use a map and compass (as in, "find the tree with an orange spot on it in the dense forests of North Carolina"). Though I'm a little rusty, I do exercise that skill once in a while, and philosophically, I prefer it. I'm a bargain-hunter. I hope to use this on hiking trails or in wilderness as a tool to keep me from becoming hopelessly lost, and I don't geocache.
The Pros:
1) Ease of Use. I've never had a GPS before, but it only took the short walk from the parking lot at Disneyland to the front gate to figure out how to mark waypoints, use GOTO and Trackback without the benefit of the manual or any quickstart guide. Button purpose was easy to intuit. Poking around randomly is an effective learning tool (the same can't be said for my mobile phone).
2) Accuracy. On said initial use, the device told me that I had returned to the front gate of Disneyland (waypoint #2), and when I had returned to my car (waypoint #1). In "Normal" mode, the "Skyview" screen normally displays an accuracy of between 14' - 20' indoors or in a car. I have yet to try to hide myself from the Sattelites in dense jungle (maybe a later review).
3) Ease of Use. Worth saying twice.
4) Durability. It appears that it will take a short drop or two, though I prefer not to test this personally, and there's no official statement of it's comparison to known standards (i.e., IEC 2060529). Garmin's website does state that the eTrex H is waterproof to IPX7 (within the aforementioned IEC 2060529), which means it is protected against temporary immersion in up to 1 meter of water.
The Cons:
1) There are no maps, though this could be said to be a "pro". I anticipate having a physical (most likely paper) map (as I usually do for use with a compass), so this isn't a big deal to me. If you expect a map you would be in for an awful surprise. Having no maps, however, isn't a torturous idea; you can successfully use waypoints, routes, and trackbacks to prevent you from getting lost, and your indicated lat/long (or grid coord.s) to let someone else know where you were if you needed to.
2) The screen is a little difficult to read without the backlight indoors or under cloudy conditions. There is a contrast adjustment, but there is apparently no adjustment for brightness. The resolution is fine (text and numbers are clear enough), but could be better given the small screen (some lines are too pixelated to be clear).
Overall, I'm very happy with it and I look forward to trying to get lost. I, unlike some others who've reviewed here, did not see the hours-long delay in acquiring an initial sattelite array; I was up and running in about ten minutes. I will not be transferring data to or from my PC, nor will I be geocaching, so the lack of a data cable or maps is in no way disappointing. I need it to work simply (which it does) and accurately (which it also does) in potentially adverse conditions (which I believe it will do).』 『Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts on a budget, the Garmin eTrex H GPS navigator helps you navigate your way through the toughest terrain. The unit is equipped with a high-sensitivity, WAAS-enabled GPS receiver, which locates your position quickly and precisely and maintains its GPS location even in heavy cover and deep canyons. The advantage is clear: whether you're traipsing through thick woods or strolling near tall buildings and trees, you can count on the eTrex H to help you find your way when you need it the most. And just like the original eTrex, this little yellow wonder is intuitive and rugged, with a lightweight housing that fits comfortably in the palm of your hand.
The eTrex H is a breeze to use, with five buttons on either side of the navigator facilitating one-handed operation. The four-level gray LCD display, meanwhile, is easy to read in a shade or daylight. And you needn't fret should the weather turn, as the eTrex H is IPX7 waterproof, so it can withstand an accidental splash or dunk in the water and still continue to perform.
Functionally, the navigator stores up to 500 waypoints in its memory for easy retrieval, with names and graphic symbols to highlight the selections. Users will also appreciate Garmin's exclusive TrackBack feature, which lets you reverse your track (up to 20 reversible routes) and navigate back to your starting point. And the automatic track log offers 10 saved tracks (with 10,000 points), along with the ability to retrace your path in both directions. Other details include a hunting and fishing calculator, sun and moon information, and a serial PC interface.
The eTrex H, which runs for up to 17 hours on a pair of AA batteries (not included), measures 2.0 by 4.4 by 1.2 inches (W x H x D) and is backed by a one-year warranty.
