It was the end of the day and it was getting dark out!!! This POS!!! gps had us going in the wrong direction!!! My adult son was arguing with me insisting the gps was correct, it was NOT!!! Like I said Thank "God" I'm an old-timer with a good backwoods sense of direction and got us both out of a potentially dangerous situation!!! DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT IT WILL GET YOU LOST!!! 』
(Great!) 『I use this GPS for hunting... I expected something to guide me on the woods and mark spots and this little cheap GPS works incredible well for what I needed. However, it is true that patient will you need when working with it. Very confusing sometimes navegating through the menus. Other than that... great It really does its work. Happy with it.』
(Good GPS) 『This GPS is cheap a decent. very accurate. HOWEVER is doesn't come with links cable, that another $25.00 and god forbid you have a new computer without 9 pin serial port watch out the USB converter costs 55.00, so might as well buy upgraded version.』
(Perfect for price! Mac users will also be happy!) 『I had spent weeks researching what type of GPS I was going to get. I was new to Geocaching but wanted something that would help teach me the simplicities and ease me into it. I have been pleasantly surprised! I had read so many reviews on this GPS that I pretty much new the little tricks since the manual is totally worthless. There is a multitude of info on the web since this Garmin has been around for so long. Here are some helpful items (free or cheap) to help any Mac users out there...
-Purchase USB&PC data Cable for Garmin Etrex H GPS from KAWA on ebay. It was $[...] for shipping. Had it here in a flash and have been really happy with it. So if anyone tells you that you can't use a USB, they're full of it.... - Next go to [...] and download their manager. Neat little application.
The only thing to note is that you will need to download this: [...] driver in order for it to work with MacCaching as they provided a different driver that didn't work. The one on apple's website does work though.
Again, I have been really happy with this little device. I like that it doesn't show you all the maps because then it makes it that much more fun and teaches you the fundamentals of navigation!』
(Simple...but, that's the point.) 『Context:
This is my first GPS. I am no luddite, I have built my own PC more than once, and am generally excited by technology -- when it works (don't get me started on the awful disappointment that is every mobile phone and mobile phone network on the planet). I am an avid mostly car camper/day hiker, though I have aspirations of weekend-long hikes (crowds do tend to chafe). In the Marine Corps, I was trained to actually use a map and compass (as in, "find the tree with an orange spot on it in the dense forests of North Carolina"). Though I'm a little rusty, I do exercise that skill once in a while, and philosophically, I prefer it. I'm a bargain-hunter. I hope to use this on hiking trails or in wilderness as a tool to keep me from becoming hopelessly lost, and I don't geocache.
The Pros:
1) Ease of Use. I've never had a GPS before, but it only took the short walk from the parking lot at Disneyland to the front gate to figure out how to mark waypoints, use GOTO and Trackback without the benefit of the manual or any quickstart guide. Button purpose was easy to intuit. Poking around randomly is an effective learning tool (the same can't be said for my mobile phone).
2) Accuracy. On said initial use, the device told me that I had returned to the front gate of Disneyland (waypoint #2), and when I had returned to my car (waypoint #1). In "Normal" mode, the "Skyview" screen normally displays an accuracy of between 14' - 20' indoors or in a car. I have yet to try to hide myself from the Sattelites in dense jungle (maybe a later review).
3) Ease of Use. Worth saying twice.
4) Durability. It appears that it will take a short drop or two, though I prefer not to test this personally, and there's no official statement of it's comparison to known standards (i.e., IEC 2060529). Garmin's website does state that the eTrex H is waterproof to IPX7 (within the aforementioned IEC 2060529), which means it is protected against temporary immersion in up to 1 meter of water.
The Cons:
1) There are no maps, though this could be said to be a "pro". I anticipate having a physical (most likely paper) map (as I usually do for use with a compass), so this isn't a big deal to me. If you expect a map you would be in for an awful surprise. Having no maps, however, isn't a torturous idea; you can successfully use waypoints, routes, and trackbacks to prevent you from getting lost, and your indicated lat/long (or grid coord.s) to let someone else know where you were if you needed to.
2) The screen is a little difficult to read without the backlight indoors or under cloudy conditions. There is a contrast adjustment, but there is apparently no adjustment for brightness. The resolution is fine (text and numbers are clear enough), but could be better given the small screen (some lines are too pixelated to be clear).
Overall, I'm very happy with it and I look forward to trying to get lost. I, unlike some others who've reviewed here, did not see the hours-long delay in acquiring an initial sattelite array; I was up and running in about ten minutes. I will not be transferring data to or from my PC, nor will I be geocaching, so the lack of a data cable or maps is in no way disappointing. I need it to work simply (which it does) and accurately (which it also does) in potentially adverse conditions (which I believe it will do).』 『Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts on a budget, the Garmin eTrex H GPS navigator helps you navigate your way through the toughest terrain. The unit is equipped with a high-sensitivity, WAAS-enabled GPS receiver, which locates your position quickly and precisely and maintains its GPS location even in heavy cover and deep canyons. The advantage is clear: whether you're traipsing through thick woods or strolling near tall buildings and trees, you can count on the eTrex H to help you find your way when you need it the most. And just like the original eTrex, this little yellow wonder is intuitive and rugged, with a lightweight housing that fits comfortably in the palm of your hand.
The eTrex H is a breeze to use, with five buttons on either side of the navigator facilitating one-handed operation. The four-level gray LCD display, meanwhile, is easy to read in a shade or daylight. And you needn't fret should the weather turn, as the eTrex H is IPX7 waterproof, so it can withstand an accidental splash or dunk in the water and still continue to perform.
Functionally, the navigator stores up to 500 waypoints in its memory for easy retrieval, with names and graphic symbols to highlight the selections. Users will also appreciate Garmin's exclusive TrackBack feature, which lets you reverse your track (up to 20 reversible routes) and navigate back to your starting point. And the automatic track log offers 10 saved tracks (with 10,000 points), along with the ability to retrace your path in both directions. Other details include a hunting and fishing calculator, sun and moon information, and a serial PC interface.
The eTrex H, which runs for up to 17 hours on a pair of AA batteries (not included), measures 2.0 by 4.4 by 1.2 inches (W x H x D) and is backed by a one-year warranty.

(Swim Meet Headsets) 『I bought it because I am an official with United States Swimming and need a two-way radio to transmit disqualifications to other officials at a swim meet. The radio works great when it is kept dry but if it gets splashed too much during a swim meet (since we are standing on the edge of a pool it happens a lot) the push to talk button shorts out and the radio goes into VOX. When it dries out the VOX problem goes away until the next splash.』
(Not a bargain) 『My husband and I are both intelligent adults who should easily be able to figure out how to work a simple two way radio. As boaters, we use single side band and marine vhf regularly. We purchased the motorola hands free voice activated unit to use when anchoring and docking. The voice activation does not work 90 percent of the time, even utilizing a head phone. The units get great reception for weather updates, however, we use our vessel's vhf for that. For our purpose, the units were virtually useless. Buyer beware, you get what you pay for. So if you are on the Chesapeake Bay, Eastern Seaboard or in the Bahamas and notice two boaters shouting back and forth when anchoring or docking on a windy day, you will understand that their motorola hands free voice activated unit is not working again.』
(Motorola EM1000R 20-Mile) 『I have purchased a total of 5 sets (10 individuals). My daughter and I take my grandkids camping each year and these are so handy. Each person gets their own and they (the walkie talkies) all communicate with each other, as long as their are all on the same channel. My grandkids, ages 16 months, 9, 11 and 13 yrs can all use them. Yes, even the 16 month old can push the button, we just don't know what he's saying, although this is not the fault of the walkie talkie. They allowed the kids more freedom since the cell phones didn't work but the walkie talkie's did, the kids could go exploring and still check-in without having to run all the way back to camp. They were turned on for approximately 6 hours a day for 3-1/2 days. The little flash light is great, we dont have to pack as many individual flash lights for each kid. At no time during our trip did they not work for us. So far I have found the distance limits to be correct as listed on the packaging. In the city has been about 2-1/2 to 3 miles. As far as the seller, I flet the price was reasonable, I received my order on time with no problems. I would order from this seller again.』
(Works as an intercom for a 2-story house) 『Just used these for a few days and they work fine. Now using them as an intercom so I want to have them ON all of the time. The charger base allows you to keep the radio ON. The second radio downstairs can be charged through the mini USB connector, but the radio goes OFF when attached. You'll need a USB cable and mini-USB adaptor to charge from a PC port, or charge from USB charger for my cell phone. It recharges in 2 - 3 hrs from the low battery level. You will know it's low when it starts the repeated audio low battery "alert" (static burst).
The owners manual is in very small print. A free PDF copy can be downloaded from their Web site.
Great range and sound quality!』 『The Motorola Talkabout EM1000R is the ideal emergency preparedness communication tool for outdoor enthusiasts and active families. With a range of up to 20 miles, an emergency alert feature and flashlight, the EM1000 radio proves a convenient total emergency preparedness communication device. The emergency alert feature allows you to enjoy your escape to the great outdoors with confidence that others can be informed of any dangers that may come your way. When the alert button is activated, the radio transmits an alert siren followed by transmission of spoken or incidental sounds. This allows you to send the signal to other radios and warn of impending danger. It also features NOAA weather alert channel which provides your group with warning of incoming storms or dangerous conditions. Perfect for active outdoor excursions or lifeâ¿¿s everyday adventures. Take a pair on your next trip to the mountains and stay connected without missing important emergency or weather alerts.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (safety leash) 『My father was given the safety leash for his pedometer but he lost his pedometer in time even with the leash.』
(Has saved my pedometer many times.) 『I bought this leash to replace the original one that came with my pedometer after the plastic clip broke. The metal clip on this one is exactly what I wanted. It's sturdy, clamps on just fine to my clothing&has not failed me once since I started using it in June. I can't count the number of times my pedometer would have fallen to the floor if it wasn't attached to this leash!』
(Great pedometer saver) 『The leash worked great. Can't tell you how many times it saved me from losing my pedometer (during a workplace walking challenge).』
(Use with pedometer) 『This is a great little clip that is easy to use and works great. It never falls off my cloths no matter what I am doing. I wear it every day. I have lost several pedometers and this clip has saved my newest one several times! Highly recommend it.』
(it does the job) 『I have an Omron Pedometer that works beautifully....the only design fault is that the the security clasp is made of plastic which eventually broke......I replaced the clasp with the safety leash which works very well. It is a very simple metal device (think the clasp on a pair of suspenders with a 10" connecting strap) which takes the worry out of losing the pedometer. The cost of shipping was more than the leash but it was/is a good purchase...... a wise move if you're concerned about the possible loss of your Pedometer』 『Although your pedometer has a belt clip, add a pedometer leash for extra insurance that your pedometer does not hit the ground if it somehow falls off your waistband. The leash attaches to your pedometer at one end, and a metal clip to your waistband ensuring that you never lose your pedometer.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Converse and comfortability) 『most comfortable sneakers out there - try them for yourself and you will buy a pair in every color』
(OK) 『Having a wide foot they fit a little on the narrow side - I kept them knowing that canvas will probably stretch without to much problem. Also my shoes make a slight hollow sound from one of the baby toe tips; I'm assuming with time that too will abate.』
(K-State purple) 『My daughter is thrilled w/ her purple Converse. We are big KSU fans and they are super close to the "Royal Purple" that we know and love. Thanks!!!』
(love my cons) 『My cons were cheaper than getting them in the store and are my first pair. I love them they won't be my last. The people I ordered from through amazon sent me a shipping confirmation and on the confirmation it said it was a different shoe, but when I got them they were the ones I ordered from amazon so no harm done.』
(Love them so much) 『I had been looking for Purple Chuck Taylor Converse shoes for over 30 years and of course I finally found them on Amazon. Do not expect them to have ANY arch support. They are not high tech in any way, but they look very cool. I recommend getting insoles to make them comfortable. 』 『An undisputed classic, first in sports, first in fashion. Valeo
Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Valeo 10 LB adjustable weights) 『Bought these to do my physical therapy exercises. Work fine and I like that they are adjustable. They are just annoying to take weights out of and put back in. They are also annoying to put on and get a strong grip if you have small ankles.』
(Love them!) 『I love these weights. I read some reviews saying that they are not good for small people, but I am 5'3" and 110lb and I can wear them on both my ankles or wrists just fine (it all depends which loop you put the strap through. The weights stay in place, and the velcro is strong enough to withstand quick movements. I would definitely recommend these!』
(Ankle / Wrist? I don't think so) 『I am a cross country runner. In the midst of the season, I decided to get into 5:30 min a mile speed.
In order to do so, I decided on an ankle weight purchase that could help build both strength and stamina.
For my ankle, these are very nice.
---Comfort---
I do not know why people are saying that this is uncomfortable.
Material feels like that of a North Face vest. It feels nice and I feel great jogging with them although
I had to get used to the feeling of extra weight.
---Weight Adjustment---
Adjusting weight is little bit tedious but not as bad as some review points out.
Only thing that bothered me was the strong stickyness of the wrapping belt? which I had a hard time trying to open.
Weights were consisted of sand material, thus, pulling it out and putting it back wasn't that difficult to do.
HOWEVER, I must point out that when you are adjusting weight to 2~4 pounds, you must make sure you positioned it on your ankle so that
it feels balanced. Otherwise, it will feel unbalanced and will move during running in terrains.
---Wrist...---
This is not a wrist weight. You must buy a wrist weight if you want to use it for your wrist.
You could wrap around your wrist, but it will feel awkward.
Also, you cannot have five pound on your wrist because unless your arm is big as body builders, it will not fit in your wrist.
I have a decent sized forearm and four lbs was the maximum weight I was able to tightly fit on my wrist section of forearm.
---Overall Conclusion---
This is a good buy and probably one of the best bang for the buck weights.
Quality feels durable and I felt like I would purchase this product again.
However, I gave it a four star due to poor description (each weight is 5lbs/pair not 10lbs/pair)
and poor usability as a wrist weight.
For ankle weights, this is perfect for any type of trainers, athlete, or regular exercising.』
(Not comfortable at all) 『The velcro on them is good and they stay securely on your wrists or ankles BUT they are very uncomfortable to wear, and even when fastened as tight as possible, they still slip off of my wrists.
I read the other reviews before buying this product and saw that many people said they were too large but I figured it wouldn't apply to me since i have fairly large hands, for a woman. sadly, i too, am affected.
Bottom line is that I would not have bought these if i had the chance to try them on first.』
(Just what I wanted) 『The weights arrived quickly. It would be helpful if the description said each weight is 5 lbs to eliminate any confusion about whether each weight is 10 lbs for those of us who don't shop for this type of item often. Very useful and easy to use.』 『Valeo's 10 pound adjustable ankle/wrist weights have removable weight packs for adjustment from 2-10 pounds. Adjustable metal d-ring closure system allows weights to be worn on either ankles or wrists. Soft padding provides extra comfort. Double strap closure allows for a secure fit. Packaged in pairs.』

This bike is an essential in our family since a tired little toddler is always needing a little extra help on the way home. My little boy loves putting little treasures in the yellow container.』
(Super dupper AWESOME Tricycle) 『I actually bought 2 of these bikes for my 3 3/4 son (now he's 4) I knew I only have about 1 year left to use this bike...I love this thing. Its relatively easy to put together, I love the long handle(I'm tall 5'7") My son absolutely loves this thing. I have taken it every where. We take the handle off, pack it in the truck adn take it to Target, Grocery shopping everywhere, he loves it』
(generally, it looks good) 『It looks good. But it makes a lot of noise when I push the trike.』
(love it...) 『Bought this for my sister's daughter. She loved it. even tho her legs didn't quite reach the pedals, she lovedlovedloved to ride on it. My sister loved that she could help steer and push, if necessary. I love the bright colors. It looks like childhood. The seat is adjustable, so you can move it back as the legs get longer. It does take a little time to put it together, but nothing too hard...』
(Big hit at the party) 『We bought this trike for our 2 yr. old grandson. He really loves it! It makes him feel like a "big" boy. He's a little short yet to peddle, but it's a great introduction to doing it on his own. It's great on the one that is doing the training as there is no bending at your back. The little bell on it is a cute little added feature as well as the the little storage unit in the back. We bought one for our other grandson a year ago and he loves it as well. Big hit at the Birthday Party! 』 『Perfect for the young trike-rider, this innovative model from Radio Flyer offers some remarkable features that both children and adults are sure to love. The removable, 4-position push handle on the steering wheel enables you to turn the front wheel while your child rides. When she's old enough to steer on her own, you can remove it. The freewheeling pedals allow your child to coast while you push, and the sturdy, tubular steel frame has flip-down foot rests. (harder than I thought) 『I enjoy the workout the wave gives. It is harder than I expected, have not had it long enough to notice huge results, but I feel it will be a nice addition to my running.』
(Expected more) 『I am a 1980s Firm beleiver but I was disappointed in the wave. Maybe if the wave didn't squeak and the disk was a better quality I could have appreciated the product more. I am using the disk though I like Susan Harris better』
(The Wave) 『I was very disappointed in my latest purchase. It came wtih DVDs that freeze up, then get all blurry, and then skip to a different section. It is very difficult to follow an exercise program like this. I have ordered many things from Amazon so I trusted that I would have no troubles with my purchase. I am very disappointed.』
(What a way to workout!) 『I was reading all the other reviews and am amazed that they are not all 5 stars. I've been working out for years and am in good shape. My muscles are strong but since my last baby they have several layers of fat over them. I have to workout at home because I have 6 children. I have gotten so bored with the traditional workouts. Slim in 6 has been my favorite and produced the most results but I am just so bored with it!
I absolutely LOVE the wave. All my muscles burn while working out and I feel so good when I am done...like the time I spent was worth the effort! It's also different from lunges, squats, etc. My core is engaged the entire time and since my core muscles are sore I can feel what I am working and it is all over! The time goes by so fast!

Peltor
Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (So far so good.) 『This is my second pair of WorkTunes. My first lasted for a year until the apparently common problem of the wire breaking from the inevitable flexing of the unit putting it on and off my head. This is my first digital unit, and the ability to quickly find a preselected station is appreciated. AM and FM reception is good, but I do live close to the transmitters. The noise protection is really appreciated when mowing the lawn, and yet I can still listen to the radio. The earset is comfortable enough that I'll often wear these rather than a different type of radio with ear buds when I'm doing work outside that is not noisy. That's because this set doesn't easily come off when moving around.』
(This was perfect!) 『I purchased this headset radio for my husband, who spends a lot of time out in the garden, but especially mowing our lawn&running a noisy leaf pick-up wagon-&he couldn't be more pleased with it. He can now listen to his favorite radio host while working outside, with it blocking out almost all other sounds- with great sound clarity as well.』
(Pelter Headphones) 『Ass far as noise cancellation these headphones work fabulously. I work inside a government building with tons of walls and machinery and I think this is detrimental to the reception I get with these headphones. They work better in some parts of the building than others. I was hoping the reception would be better. I would buy them again tho.』
(Hearing Protector - Good - Radio - fair) 『I purchased the Peltor 90541 WorkTunes AM/FM Hearing Protector with Digital Tuning for a specific purpose. I wanted to re-transmit TV audio and be able to adjust the volume for myself and leave the main control on the TV as-is for my spouse. My plan has not worked well. Not the fault of Worktunes, though.
I must say what others have said. This is a fine product to protect your hearing while out riding the lawn tractor or using a chain saw. If you have too many strong stations closeby it may dissapoint though. The selectivity is not really great. Stations bleed over. The sensitivity IMO is OK. Can hear distant stations trying to come in... (maybe still not a really good thing). But what kind of radio do you think they are going to fit into such a small space? lol It won't be a $300.00 FM tuner, will it?』
(A little disappointed, but...) 『I bought the Peltor 90541 so that I could listen to ball games while mowing the lawn. I live in a somewhat rural area, yet it didn't occur to me that I would NOT be able to get all the stations my car radio does. Unfortunately one frequency I do not receive well is the one I listen to the Red Sox on. For the FM stations that DO come in, about 6-8 of them, it is great. The hearing protection works fine, and I enjoy listening to the music. So, they are good, but have limitations. Maybe there is a way to get a better antenna?』 『Worktunes, Digital AM/FM Stereo Hearing Protection, Stereo Input Jack For MP3 Players, LCD, Digital Tuning, Preset Stations, Low Battery Indicator.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Excellent product) 『I agree with other reviewers. A high density foam roller is the only way to go. The product arrived on time in excellent condition. It is a great adjunct to stretching especially after a workout.』
(Great product. Runner should try it out.) 『I didn't believe it at first, but after I'm in so much pain from running (new runner) I have to try it out. Go on to [...] and search for "foam roller" and they will teach you how to use it. Why pay high price for a massage therapist.』
(Superdense foam) 『I was worried the foam wouldn't be dense enough, it's almost too dense. It's working fine for massaging my legs and back. I also use it to align my spine by laying on it lengthwise with my head on the top and my butt on the end, bending my knees. I got the 36 inch and round version.』
(Best product ever!!) 『I love this foam roller! I roll out on it every morning before going to class and it has decreased my back and IT band pain tremendously! Great for anyone who has tight muscles but little time to do anything about it. Quick, easy, and high quality!』
(Does the job) 『I got my foam roller for SMFR, it does the job and has held up to daily use.』 『Geared for moderate to heavy users, the High Density Foam Rollers give all the benefits of traditional rollers without breaking down. Fitness and rehab professionals will love the durability and lasting power of this roller.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (swim cap) 『this cap was too small for my head (and no, my head isnt abnormally large) and it does little to keep my hair dry. it also pinches my ears.』
(Great swim cap -- totally happy) 『Swim cap is perfect for me -- reasonably priced, fits my head perfectly -- my hair doesn't get wet at all. Only reason I gave it a four is because I have a hard time hearing when I'm wearing it, but that'd be a problem with any cap. :-)』
(Keeps My Long Hair 90% Dry) 『I know that swim caps are more about being streamlined in the pool than keeping one's hair dry, but I hate having to wash my hair more often than is needed because it reeks of chlorine.
With a simple braid, I'm able to keep my mid-back length hair (which isn't thick) tucked inside the cap with only minimal pool-water exposure.
NOTE though that as I am currently pregnant, so I swim using a kick board and don't fully submerge my head...mostly only face in. But this cap keeps the front of my hair from getting wet.
On the occasion I submerge my head or do an extended back stroke, more water seeps in through the back, but I suppose that can't be helped.』
(It's Olympic Gold!!) 『As a lap swimmer, I consider this cap an investment item for anyone who wants a swim cap that fits well, holds water out and looks great at the same time. The cap feels silky, and goes on easily with minimal stretching or pulling over one's head. Most caps are very tight, and compress your head. This one is roomy and soft. I have shoulder length hair and it contains my hair from the chlorine and seals out water nicely. You can't go wrong with this cap! I love the gold color, it makes a nice fashion statement too! It's a swimmer's best friend and an Olympic Gold choice. 』
(Does the job - definitely recommend it) 『I've been using this cap for over a year (swimming multiple times a week over the past few months). I have long hair and putting it in a high pony tail has kept it contained under the cap. I don't wet my hair before swimming, so the cap allows a bit of water to enter and wet the hair at the lower back of my head - very minimal. It's been the best swimming cap I've owned.
I have a smaller head and somewhat fine hair. The cap stays on well.
No problems with black spots that others have mentioned. I towel dry the cap inside and outside before throwing in the gym bag.
』 『Lightweight and durable cap that is designed to hold dome shape and rounded fit with no wrinkles, which reduces drag. The silicone allows the head to breathe for a more comfortable fit and can be stretched to more than double its original size. Quick and easy to take on and off without snagging hair.』 『Keep your hair under wraps when swimming with Speedo's silicone solid-color swim cap. Silicone allows head to breathe for a more comfortable fit, and this durable, pliable cap can be stretched to more than double its original size. About Speedo In 1914, Speedo was founded in Australia by Alexander MacRae, a 22-year-old Scottish immigrant who arrived in the country in 1910. The company began when MacRae Hosiery manufacturers, established by Alexander in 1914, extended the manufacture of underwear to swimwear and became MacRae Knitting Mills. A naming competition was held by the staff in 1928 and won by a Captain Parsonson, who coined the slogan, "Speed on in your Speedos." In 1929, the first swimsuits were in production and it didn’t take long for Speedo to successfully establish itself. World War II caused the brand turn over 90% of it’s manufacturing to war production, providing the armed services with vital equipment such as mosquito nets. After the war, Speedo opened a new factory and was able to re-establish itself, due to increased demand for swimsuits. In 1951, Speedo Knitting Mills (Holdings) Ltd, was incorporated and became a publicly traded company on the Sydney Stock exchange.
Speedo hit the international stage in earnest, at the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games, and a few years later the brand grew on a more global scale. Export sales to the USA began and an international division was set up to monitor trade in New Zealand, Japan and South Africa. The expansion of the brand continued, and in 1976, Speedo was appointed as the official swimwear for the 1976 Montreal Olympics, where 52 out of 54 countries wore their swimsuits.
Speedo continues to make its mark in the pool and on the beach today. Many world class athletes who wear Speedo include U.S. phenomenon Michael Phelps, legendary Australian swimmer Grant Hackett, world record holder Kosuke Kitajima from Japan, and Holland’s Inge de Bruijn.
