First, several reviews have complained about it being difficult to put together. I assembled it while watching a movie (so it doesn't take a lot of concentration) and I had no difficulties. If you follow the directions about the order to put the bolts in, its straight forward. Second, the workouts are amazing. I did not realize how many muscles it takes to stay balanced but the workout is great. I really like the workout DVDs that are included. I used them a couple of times and then ad lib while watching TV. But the exercises not only give you a good work out and help with your balance, but they also help stretch your muscles - I come away from a workout on this much looser than any other workout.』
(Quality control a little off) 『I have put together more than a fair share of "assembly required" items and this one is worse than most. They are all maddening, but this is just plain poor quality control. Several of the parts did not align correctly...making the bolts difficult or impossible to tighten. And two of the allen bolts wouldn't go in at all and three would not tighten completely...All on the supports.
The BOSU itself seems pretty solid, the videos give some good workout ideas and fortunately I am not big or big on leaning on the supports.
I purchased the set mainly for the BOSU and the video's, so I guess I got my money's worth. But if you need the support, I'd skip this product or be prepared to do a little tinkering. I'd also skip it if you have no patience for things that don't fit right the first time.』
(Love it) 『It's a great package. Assembly wasn't hard at all, and there are a lot of workout DVDs included. It's surprising how intense the workout is - I did the first cardio workout today and my heart was pounding after 15 minutes (in a good way). Perfect for anyone who wants to work out but isn't a fan of gyms, especially in the winter when it's no fun to jog or bike outside.
One drawback - it's not all that easy to store. I had hoped the 3D system would fold down or something similar to store away quickly, but that's not the case. You can take off the top handles easily, but you'd still need a relatively large space to store the entire thing in. So, you may end up just leaving it fully assembled wherever you put it together. It's not an eyesore exactly, but it'd be nice to have it disassemble a bit so it could fit under a bed or in a small space.
Overall, though, it's a very good product and I think I'll get more than my money's worth out of it in exercise.』

We got this from Amazon today and after about an hour cursing at the stupid screws, we finally got it all assembled except for one of the screws that cross-threaded and simply wouldn't work. Also, there doesn't appear to be a plug for the air valve in the ball thing. So, we picked up the base to move it from the living room to the family room, where I wanted to keep it, and the handles are wobbling all over the place. I stood in the center of the base (without the ball thing on it) and held on and the handles rattled and felt like they are going to fall off. We are going to send this back.』

Everything was fine until the base assembly wherein the base holes(pre drilled)were off a fraction of an inch in relation to the ball platform holes making it impossible to align the supplied nuts and bolts without some extra drilling and "gerry rigging" to join the two pieces together. (Insanity Workout - unable to "really" rate this product) 『I haven't been able to use the workout. While it plays on my computer here at work, it won't play on my DVD player at home. I emailed Lorraine Sperrazza twice, heard back from her once but haven't heard back from her with an answer to my second email. My first email stated that I could not play the Fitness DVD, that was before I found out that the entire set doesn't play on my DVD player at home. It's insane for them to think that I can do the work out at work!
I also do not want a refund, I really want this program. Any suggestions? Can you guys help me instead? I don't know where to return this so that I can get a replacement. They obviously have my money... HELP!!!

(PRETTY GOOD PRODUCT) 『The workouts are good and fairly intense. If you have not trained regularly in an interval style format then you will find these workouts way too much to handle. If you have trained with Kettle bells or done some other sort of interval training then you will find them with some decent exercise variations and challenging routines.
If you are someone who dislikes doing the same thing repeatedly, then avoid this DVD series. If you want to get some great workouts in for total body conditioning, then give it a try.
I do have to note one of the reasons I have this set 4 stars. I received the set in the mail and all the DVD's are out of order. In other words the plyometric cardio workout was actually the cardio abs workout. Every disk had the wrong label on it and the actual workouts once playing on the screen were not the workouts labeled on the DVD. It was very odd. Everything works and everything was there but the labels were all on the wrong disks.』

I have done many cardio dvds before and never had to keep stopping to catch my breath. I even saw some of his people in the video stopping and half doing it. You will have to be in perfect shape for this. I had about 14 minutes left in the video so I stopped. My pulse was beating so fast,and I got worried. Now it's a good video if you have the stamia to keep up. The video does tell you to go your own pace, but oh my, you will still pass out. I call it a quick, fast, stop for 30 seconds and back at it again cardio. They named this dvd with the right title. I probably won't be doing this workout video. I buy a pair every few years and wear them until they are literally falling apart around my feet.
As much as I love the look of a brand new clean pair of chucks, I also have a special place in my heart for a beaten, battered, torn up, scribbled on, dirty, scuffed up pair. It's all part of the life cycle of a pair of Chuck Taylors.
The basic colors also hold a special place in my heart. I can't walk into journey's anymore because all the shoes in there look like a clown took acid and threw up all over the place. Who can sell me shoes that don't make me look an a-hole? I'll stick to the classics.

I've used mine 3 or 4 times now (during spin class, running and on the elliptical machine so far) and I really like it! It's really cute&comfortable, has a lot of neat features (like the calorie counter) and so far the heart rate readings have been pretty accurate. I haven't had any trouble reaching my wrist like some people mentioned and haven't really had to stop or slow down what I'm doing to take a reading. I'm sure the chest strap models are more accurate and convenient as far as giving you a continuous reading, but if you're no Olympic athlete-in-training and just want something to give you a general idea of how hard you're working, this is a great watch!』

The manual is clear and concise; the heart rate function is easy to access and gives an accurate result when compared with a simple pulse count.
I've bought this for health reasons so will be wearing it all the time. The monitor is about twice as thick as a normal cheap digital watch, but it is quite attractive/comfortable and I think it will pass as a watch when I wear it around other people. I have not tested it running, but it's easy to use while walking.
I, for one, found it awkward to use two fingers to make the connection as suggested in the manual and use my thumb and index finger instead.』
(Does the job, but a little bulky) 『I just got this watch today. The heart rate monitor is definitely accurate. I tested it compared to timing my pulse with a stopwatch. While you do need to hold down the two buttons to take your heart rate, it only takes a few seconds, so it's not a big deal. It would be nice if it continuously monitored your heart rate, but I would still take this over having to wear a chest strap. One thing I wasn't thrilled with was how bulky the watch is. I was under the impression that it was a small watch that looks more like a normal digital watch, but it's a lot bigger than I thought (see the photos I posted). I do have a very small wrist, so it might not look so big on everyone though. So bottom line...it seems to serve the purpose and it's relatively inexpensive for a heart rate monitor, but if you're expecting this watch to look like a regular digital watch, you should know that it is on the bulky side. That being said, I think that's the case for all heart rate monitor watches -- at least all of the ones I read reviews for before buying this one.』

(Look good, but don't work as well as mbt's) 『These shoes look great and fit comfortably. The problem is that they are not wel balanced. When walking, the shoes lean towards the inside. Also, the back to front stepping motion is not as smooth as mbt's. I also have MBT's and in my humble opinion, the mbt's are much better balanced and designed. Considering these are half the price of mbt's and look much better than any mbt, there is value there. I would return these if I could.
In summary, these look good, but don't work as well as mbt's.

(Try before you buy! HUGE front of shoe!) 『I read the reviews for the MBTs and Reebok version before purchasing this shoe, thinking it would be the same thing at a lower price point. I buy almost all my shoes online and have never once had to return something due to fit. I wear a 9.5 - 10 shoe and purchased a 10. The length of the shoe fits fine and the width of the base is a little big, but not too much so. What's strange about the shoe, however, is the size of the foot compartment, especially in the front of the shoe. I have the laces pulled together as tightly as it can possibly go and it's still too big. I know a size ten foot is large for a woman, but that doesn't mean she has sausage feet. I'm 5'9" and a small size 8, so I'm not too thin nor overweight - just normal size with feet you'd expect on a tall woman. Seriously, I couldn't fit into any of my shoes when I was pregnant with twins, but I bet these would have been perfect. Perhaps they didn't make the mistake in the smaller sizes, but I would really recommend trying on the shoe before ordering it.
The other thing I find odd about the shoe is that there is no arch inside the shoe. I guess these would be perfect for someone with flat feet (even better fit if your feet are flat and fat). I needed to add arch supports and haven't had to do that with any other sneakers.
Aside from the fit, I do think the sneakers are doing what they promised. The roll is so far that I found my knees hyperextending a little bit, but I quickly got used to avoiding that. I think the shoe would be more effective, however, if it fit better and I didn't feel like the front of my fit could slide around so much.
Overall, the shoe probably does what it claims. The fit, however, is unlike any sneaker I've ever worn before in that the size 10 will only fit if your feet are very large in terms of height and width and also flat. I'd recommend trying a pair on at a store even if you plan to purchase online. I'm keeping mine, but will also be purchasing a pair of MBTs or Reeboks, depending on which way the reviews of the new Reeboks go.』 『Please note: This style runs 1/2 size small. Get in the Routine
1. Kick Back: Stand upright and place feet parallel and hip distance apart, balance centered. Roll your weight onto the back of the soft foam heel– hold for a count of five and then back to the center. Do not lock knees or tip backward. Stretches calf and hamstrings. Repeat 5 to 10 times.
2. Rock and Roll:Stand upright and place feet parallel and hip distance apart, balance centered. Roll your weight forward so you are balancing on the underside of your toes– hold for a count of two, then slowly rock back to the soft heel – hold for a count of two, and then back to your center of balance. Do not lock knees or tip backward. Stretches calf and hamstrings, warms up Achilles and ankles. Repeat 5 to 10 times.
3. Roll and Rock and Roll:Follow the Rock and Roll stretch, but alternate feet so one is rolling to the toes and one is rocking back. Repeat 5 to 6 times.
4. The Lean:Place your hands on a wall, parallel and slightly above your head. With one leg in front of the other and your arms forward, press with your palms as if you were leaning on the wall. Keep your back leg straight and your front foot on the floor, then bend the front leg and lean forward by moving your hips toward the wall. Hold for a count of five, then repeat on the other side. Stretches calf and Achilles. Repeat 5 to 6 times.

(Excellent Flashlight) 『Excellent flashlight. It is bright and lights up a very large area. There is a dark spot when focusing the light to view a large area but it can be adjusted easily enough. The peripheral light is plenty bright enough even when focused down to a fairly small area. Don't expect to carry this flashlight around in your pocket though. Extremely useful as a primary flashlight for around the house and during power outages. I also own the MAGLITE 3-watt led 2-AA flashlight and it is excellent for a flashlight you can put in your pocket or use for the car. Both are very bright.
One thing to note: I had lithium batteries in my 3-watt led 2-AA MAGLITE and when the batteries were almost dead, the light would go out. I thought the flashlight might have been broke but once I replaced the batteries it worked perfectly. Guess I'm used to incandescent bulbs that dim when the batteries are low.』
(Better Than Expected) 『I bought this to search a treeline at 100 meters from my house at night. I was expecting to only see relections of animal eyes at that distance. However, the beam is wide enough and strong enough to identify the type of animal lurking in the treeline. Very useful to know what's out there before venturing out with my dog at night. It seems to be a very well made flashlight. I'm using Ray-O-Vac alkaline batteries and don't know if that matters for brightness.』
(Quality Product) 『Anyone whose life or safety, depends upon their ability to light up the night, will want a professional grade product. My "work-horse" is a Streamlight SL-20X, w/ a SL-35X lamp, throwing out 40,000 candle power. Exactly what I need to be able to see someone trying to run from me or hide in the shadows. For close quarters, I prefer the Streamlight Stinger w/ a Terralux LED upgrade package. To back them up, I keep a Surefire 9P modified to chamber 4 CR123 batteries and fire a 12V Xenon bulb. In my toolbox, for use when I'm crawling in sub-basements, attics,&under cars, I keep a Streamlight SL-20XP LED&Streamlight PolyStinger LED.

Now lets talk about the Maglite. Sort of like stepping down from a muscle car to a Honda, right? I've also got a set of Snap-On tools, but none-the-less still buy junk from Harbor Freight.
A couple of weeks ago, I found an old Maglite in my garage. Had it from when I was a kid. The batteries had exploded and leaking acid ruined the entire sleeve&switch assembly. Since I had a sense of humor, and an extra $4 in "forever" stamps, I wrapped this thing up in a Streamlight box and sent it back to the Maglite warranty center. Within a couple of weeks, a brand new Maglite came in the mail. Maglite stands behind their product. They are serious about that lifetime warranty. You can't beat that, period.

I've seen mine dropped from ladders, down hiking trails, off the top of a 6 foot fence....you name it, all sorts of heights. Sure, the bulb might break. You may even crack the lens. But you won't break the metal casing or the switch. Even if you drop them in water, you can dry them out, change the batteries, and still use them again.
As Hanukkah approaches, I've already decided to give all the kids Maglites this year. Just like I had when I was a kid. Back then, you were on top of the world if you had a Swiss Army Knife&a Mini-Maglite. Even as an adult, I can't go anywhere without a Leatherman Tool&Surefire G2 Nitrolon.
Not very bright. Cost of batteries will add up real fast. Starts off brighter, then dims&fades. Poor beam pattern with dark spots from filaments out of balance.
But still the best value for an all purpose light. Great to keep around in the kitchen drawer. Excellent for kids. Can't be beat for camping&fishing. (Versatile flashlight has many uses) 『This is by far the best flashlight I have ever used and I've had and still have many of assorted sizes, styles and shapes. It is also the heaviest flashlight I've ever used and that's not a bad thing. It won't fit in your pocket or lap top case but in a car or next to the bed, it can't be beat. On the other hand, should an invader move into your space, he/she can be beat-en by this hefty source of light. We've used it when the power has gone out, when searching for a diamond ring a neighbor lost when she threw a ball on the grass (we found it) and for seeing what was under a stove, sink and cable box, just to name a few instances where it's been superb. I've purchased rechargeable batteries for this and check them monthly, but also keep a supply of D Cell batteries on hand for times when it needs to be used for long periods. I'm still on the original bulb and enjoy the spare one stored in this housing. Now for additional uses -- I once was preparing a pie crust but could not find my rolling pin. Because I had used the flashlight in the kitchen the day before, I placed a clean plastic bag around the flashlight and while placing the bulb end of the flashlight over the edge of the counter top and not applying pressure near the on off button, used this as a rolling pin. It was amusing at first because the light kept going on and off with the pressure from the switch, but I corrected the pressure and was able to create a usable pie crust.』 『Great for outdoor use or in case of emergency.』
