『I primarily got this bc i sit at a desk all day and dont' get to exercise as frequently as I would like. It has been awesome. I use it when I'm on the phone, when I'm not actively typing, and when I'm just thinking. I often use it a lot when I'm watching tv. I also use it when I come back from the gym to see if I am gaining in strength(i.e. being able to do more reps). It's a great tool.』

『I got this idea from my son for whom I purchased a 9-lb per finger Gripmaser almost 2 years ago. Some of my fingers are getting numb when I wake up in the morning and I feel they are getting weak. So I got these to strengthen my fingers. I do it while working in front of my laptop and while driving (one hand at a time). I've noticed I am stronger and am able to open bottle caps and jars that I needed my son's help before. I recommend this product. Amazon.com always has fast and good service.』

『I got this to strengthen my fingers for guitar playing. I have to say it definitely takes some serious grip to use. I strongly considered getting the yellow model with lighter tension (3 lbs), but after a little research opted for the blue model with five pounds per finger. I'm okay with it, but I do think the lighter tension model would have been easier for my two smallest fingers. My two smallest fingers are the weakest and can only slightly move this 5 lbs of tension. That's why I think for my purposes, I would have preferred being able to move and strengthen all the fingers. I would suggest researching the models on the internet and reading about them before you buy. Also if you are like I was with doubt about your hand/finger strength you should probably go with the lighter tension model. Overall the Gripmaster is made very nice and serves the purpose. I have no complaints with the product. Just know your abilities.』

『My husband absolutely loves these pants. Like others have said they are thin but my husband was looking for loungewear and these are perfect! They wouldn't be warm enough or actually nice enough to go out in but perfect for lounging in the house. I am going to see how they wash and order more.』

『I like these type of pants because I have a very short inseam and with the ankle elastic (which is NOT constricting in any way) I don't have to worry about how long they'll be. I found the sizing to run large, so in the future I will order one size smaller. I previously bought Champion brand and they are a thicker material and seem a little more substancial. The Russell brand are of a thinner jersey knit which is better suited to summer wear. I wear this type of pant year around for the comfort. They are roomy, have side pockets and elastic at the waist and ankles, and look neat if you have to run an errand or go to the doctor's office.』

We wanted them to be more visible to cars while biking after dark, and since front and back lights on bicycles are required by law in NYC (which most people here probably don't realize). 『Great weekend shoe or anytime! I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 shoe size. I bought the 8 thinking that I would be wearing them more in the colder months with socks. However, I find it more comfortable if I wear thicker socks so the 7.5 size might have worked. They seem to run true to size. Overall I'm happy with the look&style.』

(Walking is More Fun and Easier)

『Skechers Women's Shape Ups-Metabolize Fitness Walking Shoe

I really like theses walking shoes. They are unique.

I usually wear walking or running shoes for the treadmill and/or outdoor walking. These Skechers Shape Ups seem to make walking easier. I like the angle of the shoe sole -- it feels totally different from other walking shoes. It feels right. That is, it feels natural. The feet are positioned as they should be.

I did notice a difference in my posture immediately. My shoulders were back more and my chest was out more, as they both should be. The first time, my back was a little uncomfortable just for the first few minutes. After that, I was fine.

I usually walk for about 30 minutes, and usually I have to MAKE myself do the entire 30 minutes. With the Skechers Shape Ups, walking is not a chore any more. I actually wanted to walk more, and I did.』

『I bought these shoes will little expectations. WRONG! I am a large woman with bad knees and back. I put these on in the mornings and wear them all day. They're wonderful when shopping. My knees still get stiff by they don't hurt and to me that's the biggest and best thing. When I don't wear the Skechers I can really tell in my feet and knees. Make sure you buy a little larger. I wear a 10 and bought a 11 because I can't stand my toes to hit the ends of my shoes, and they fit perfectly. Thank you Skechers!』

『The product meets expectations and easy to put together. I can hop on the bike if I need a workout going outside of my home what is a plus especially in winter time. The seat is not comfortable though and worth upgrade to the recommended Schwinn unit. Bike is being powered by 4 C-size batteries which lasted for a week or so. So I bought a AC/DC 6V adapter in RadioShack and wired the bike.』

The only other exercise equipment I have added to my routine is my husbands dumbbells, and I am satisfied with the results. I definitely recommend this bike to anybody who wants to exercise to stay fit or stay in shape.

『I'm a runner, but a pinched nerve in my neck had me unable to run for awhile. So, in order to stay active I decided to purchase a stationary bike. I've never owned a stationary bike and after reading previous reviews I decided upon purchasing this one.

And I couldn't be happier!!

Excellent price and free shipping were an added bonus.

The seat comfort is pretty decent for me, though I did read that others purchased a different seat. I usually ride for about an hour a day and it's perfect in that time frame. Though, maybe if you ride longer than that, buy a different seat.

-There are six programs or you can select the manual program.
-The bike is pretty lightweight and easily movable, as it has front wheels.
-It is very quiet.
-Within the six different programs one can still adjust the level of difficulty, which is a good thing if you want to climb steeper hills.
-The one minor detail that I would like to see added to the control panel is a way one can enter their weight so as to get a more accurate reading of calories burned. (though, there are fitness websites out there where you can retrieve that information.)

I ride the bike 4-5 times per week and never get bored or tired of it. It really is an excellent bike.

『This bike is an excellent value. I particularly like the electronic tension adjustment. Delivery was quick and assembly was easy using only the tools provided. One problem: Other reviewers who mentioned the loose handlebar were right. I found that vibration from normal use loosens the two screws, and the bar flops down. The solution is simple: Place a lock-washer under each screw-head. The lock-washers apply tension to the screws and keeps them from vibrating loose. For good measure I also applied liquid threadlocker to the screws before reassembly. I've had no problems since. I'm surprised that Schwinn did not supply lock-washers, especially since they are provided for the frame assembly.』

(Great bike, good price, not so good seat)

『I'll get right to the key points. The bike is very sturdy, whisper quiet, was easy to put together, has pretty smooth rotation, and is very easy to move around. The downside....the seat is unbearably hard. Sure the seat feels soft when you put your hand on it, but don't let that fool you. It's almost like the seat was made for church. Of course this is easily remedied by buying an alternate seat. Other than that this is a great bike to pick up.』

Due to this unconventional manner of walking, we suggest you moderate your walking routine in Shape Ups for the first week or two (25 to 45 minutes per day), depending on your level of fitness. Get in the Routine

1. Kick Back: Stand upright and place feet parallel and hip distance apart, balance centered. Roll your weight onto the back of the soft foam heel– hold for a count of five and then back to the center. Do not lock knees or tip backward. Stretches calf and hamstrings. Repeat 5 to 10 times.

2. Rock and Roll:Stand upright and place feet parallel and hip distance apart, balance centered. Roll your weight forward so you are balancing on the underside of your toes– hold for a count of two, then slowly rock back to the soft heel – hold for a count of two, and then back to your center of balance. Do not lock knees or tip backward. Stretches calf and hamstrings, warms up Achilles and ankles. Repeat 5 to 10 times.

3. Roll and Rock and Roll:Follow the Rock and Roll stretch, but alternate feet so one is rolling to the toes and one is rocking back. Repeat 5 to 6 times.

4. The Lean:Place your hands on a wall, parallel and slightly above your head. With one leg in front of the other and your arms forward, press with your palms as if you were leaning on the wall. Keep your back leg straight and your front foot on the floor, then bend the front leg and lean forward by moving your hips toward the wall. Hold for a count of five, then repeat on the other side. Stretches calf and Achilles. Repeat 5 to 6 times.
