(I'm Awake) 『One of the best books I have ever read. Take your time with it. It is well worth it and I can't wait to read it again. Nearly have to dip it in highlighter as it is so enlightening and noteworthy. If you can't get into it, you are not ready for the changes you need to make to yourself. Try again later.』
(Peace of Presence) 『This book does not "preach" or hand out a series of self-help remedies for daily woes. It functions to instill a language for the reader that enables clear articulation of what we all know inside to be the truth--the reality of Being and its applicable value. This language is accompanied with a profound sense of inner peace, which has also helped me dissolve conflicts among my friends and loved ones. In fact, the depth of understanding to be gained is invaluable, especially when compared to the minute price tag. This manifesto of the present moment is so moving that I have actually bought multiple copies because I keep lending out/ giving away my own.』
(More like 3.5 stars) 『I wish you could give 1/2 stars - this book is really a three and a half star rating for me.
Although Tolle says he's not affiliated with any religion, this book is really "Buddhism lite". The concepts in this book weren't new to me but I thought that Tolle had an engaging style of explaining them that kept me interested. It was repetitive at times but I think someone who was learning about enlightenment and the principles of consciousness for the first time might need that repetition to reinforce them. Most of the book was theoretical - I would have like more concrete examples of how to implement the concepts in my own life. I did not do Oprah's online classes, perhaps those would have some.』
(Deep but powerful) 『I read this book at a perfect time in my life when I was open to the message. Honestly, it is hard to get into in the first four or five chapters. Suddenly though, if you keep at it, the ideas start clicking and making complete sense.
This is a great book for people seeking to change the way they view life, becoming more connected, and finding true happiness.』 『A spiritual classic. A number-oneNew York Timesbestseller. (Saved A Trip To The Mall) 『The Calendars arrived in a timely manner and the was just what had I expected, both good quality and good service. I was saved a trip to the shopping mall by making this purchase online.』
(Great buy) 『Great calendar. Each year I am amazed at the gorgeous black and white photos.』 『The latest edition of the Ansel Adams wall calendar reproduces 13 classic images by the master photographer, chosen to reflect the changing seasons. Well-known and less familiar photographs are included, depicting grand vistas of the American West as well as intimate studies of plant life, among other favorite subjects. The 2010 calendar is an elegant addition to any home or office, as well as an attractive gift. This is an annual bestseller, with more than 150,000 copies sold each year.』

While I am not the Queen of Punctuation, I still found myself chuckling throughout the book. But on top of the chuckling, and perhaps even more importantly, I learned things about punctuation that either I hadn't known before or had forgotten!
So now I will try to live up to the expectations of Lynne Truss and put my new found punctuation and grammer knowledge to use. Ms. Ambrose, my favorite teacher in elementary school, would be so proud!』
(The desktop calendar was not what I expected after reading the back of its box.) 『I saw the "Eats, Shoots, and Leaves..." desktop calendar in one of my local large booksellers, and remember distinctly laughing out loud after reading the blurb on the back of the box. I ended up picking up a copy of the desktop calendar, eagerly anticipating more clever and witty comments on the proper and improper use of the English language.
Boy, was I unpleasantly surprised. It almost seemed to me as if the best of the witticisms had been placed on the back of the box in an effort to get the reader to pick a copy up, as I had. The rest of the content seemed like either thinly veiled attempts to sing the book's praises, or cajoling commentary trying to encourage the reader to run out, right now, and grab a copy of the book for the improvement of your use of the English language and, overall, yourself. I felt entirely duped, and completely disenchanted. So much for my eager anticipation to find a daily witty and clever comment on the English language; there would be no daily clever, intellingent, but still laugh-out-loud funny comments or jokes about English usage. It'd all been saved up for the back of the box.
So, out the window this desktop calendar went. Knock Knock Publications, I'm ready for a sequel to 2010 Daily Calendar: 365 Excuses for All Occasions. Now THAT calendar is sheer genius and clever hilarity all in one! Thank God I ordered that calendar when I'd ordered this one, because that one at least delivers admirably and generously on its promise on a day-to-day basis!』
(Eats shoots -&leaves!) 『Great condition - surprised how good it was considering the price tag. Looks barely read.』
(Who knew?) 『I never knew that punctuation rules could be so effectively combined with humor! In addition to learning about British usage and some of the common problems they are seeing on the other side of the big puddle, I found this book highly edifying. I was sad when I finished reading it, and plan to read it again and again.』
(Thought provoking and HILARIOUS) 『This book has made me 100% self conscious of my writing and embarrassed about every mark I incorrectly make, don't make, or misplace. I highly recommend it albeit it will make you ashamed of every attempt you've made at writing and failed miserably at; I, personally, will be throwing in the towel on writing shortly after this review is completed.』 『A panda walks into a cafe. He orders a sandwich, eats it, then draws a gun and fires two shots in the air. "Why?" asks the confused waiter, as the panda makes towards the exit. The panda produces a badly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder. "I'm a panda," he says, at the door. "Look it up." The waiter turns to the relevant entry and, sure enough, finds an explanation. "Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves." So punctuation really does matter, even if it is only occasionally a matter of life and death. This is the zero tolerance guide.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (We use it every day) 『My wife selected this calendar for our weekly planing of activities. And we all like it, and using it for three years now. It helps us plan our busy lives. But you have to try it and see if it works for you.』
(Best Idea for Moms) 『I've bought this over the past few years for my oldest daughter. Last year when one of my other daughters was pregnant at Christmas she was diappointed she didn't get one like her sister. This year I had one for her "it's my calendar!!" she exclaimed. She is thrilled to death. Her other sister wouldn't live without it either. Wish I had this when I was raising my 4 kids!!』
(perfect family calendar) 『My wife was panicking when she noticed we had forgotten to order a new calendar for 2010. After a bit of research we found this still in stock on Amazon and we are really happy with it. The kids enjoy putting stickers and writing their notes in their columns and my wife is happy keeping track of everything. A perfect choice!』
(big help for our B&B) 『We've used this calendar for years. We have no kids at this point, and we run a 3-guest room B&B. We schedule the reservations in the three spaces that would be for our kids' dancing lessons, etc. The calendar is just great for us.』
(Best calendar ever!) 『This is my 4th year using this calendar for my family. I'm afraid I would freak-out if I was unable to find a new one for the next year (at the end of the year). The good news is that I've found these calendars at Costco, through Scholastic and here on Amazon, so I guess odds are good that other moms like them and I'll be able to replace it every year! Why do I love it so much? The layout of it is great, and we have 5 people in our family so all of our names can fit on the grid. I can tell from a glance if any one of us, all of us or none of us have something going on any given day. It's wonderful! Also, my kids love the stickers that come with it. There are stickers for doctor appointments, dentist appointments, sleep-overs, birthdays, hair-cuts, the list goes on. I'm afraid i would have a really hard time going back to a "regular" calendar.』 『Now in its 12th super selling year, it's the overachieving calendar that makes Mom's life easier. Don't let the cuteness--Sandra Boynton's lovably goofy pigs, dogs, hippos, cows, chickens, and cats--fool you. Underneath the adorable illustrations is a smartly designed calendar with the organizing mettle of a planner. Running 17 months, from August 2009 through December 2010, MOM'S has an oversize, vertical grid with five columns across the top (one for each family member) and the days of the month running down the left side. There's plenty of space for everyone's activities, and Mom and Dad can see who's doing what with just a glance,. Includes a drop-down storage pocket, 500 stickers, and write-on, wipe-off magnetic phone list for the fridge.』

Pearl Harbor Rememberance Day doesn't exist with this calendar. That's right, Dec 7th, when our families fought for this country, nah, that's not important anymore. Now we get to celebrate "Muharram - Islamic New Year 1432" on Dec 7th. After all, the Islamics did blow up Americans on American soil, so why not rewrite our holidays too.』
(Not what i expected) 『I didn't feel this was what i ordered in some way. The pictures I didn't find that interesting, I wished I could have viewed more than just the cover before I purchased it. Made on recycled paper - I'm giving it to a friend that may enjoy it more than me.』
(Artsy! Creative!) 『 I just got this calendar for my classroom and the students and I both love it. It's a very cool calendar with unique pictures. It looks way better in person than in the pictures shown here. And now that it's ridiculously low-priced since we're well into the new year, this is a great buy and a great choice.』
(Awesome Calendar) 『This calendar is full of beautiful pictures one might not see otherwise. A wise choice, this calendar is appropriate for home or office. You should buy it.』 『As one of the most exciting art movements of our time, environmental art celebrates our connection to the natural world through beauty, science, metaphor and ecological restoration. It encompasses a surprising landscape of approaches, from ephemeral art in nature sculpture designed to last only a few hours before returning to the earth, to community-based eco- installations which clean up polluted watersheds and promote public understanding of local and global environmental issues. The Environmental Art 2010 wall calendar features fifteen projects drawn from the global archives of greenmuseum(dot)org, a not-for-profit online museum of environmental art. They provide a sampling of some of the latest developments in this field to stimulate the imagination and promote the role of art in the creation of a more sustainable world culture.』

(Great for "the office") 『This is the second time I bought a desk calendar from The Office for my husband. We both love the show and the calendar features humorous daily quotes. He reads it first thing every morning and it always makes him laugh. It's awesome and just the right size. THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!』
(As unfunny as your real job) 『A co-worker bought this for me as a Christmas present. It's just terrible. I went through three months of it and there was one slightly funny thing. Plus they are printed on Post-It Note style sticky paper so you can post all the unfunny, small-type messages outside your office for other people to dislike.
This product has nothing to do with the comedy show "The Office" which is pretty obvious when you read the dull content.
This was given to me as a gift and I still want my money back. Don't buy this product. The publishers should be ashamed of themselves.』
(Not very funny.) 『It's not that great. Basically, it looks like some people watched the last couple of seasons on DVD and transcribed the entire season word for word a line at a time and then randomly assigned a quote to a day. I was hoping there would be a little more thought put into it. You know- like maybe just put the funny quotes in it... just an idea.』
(Funny calendar with info from a funny show.) 『I needed a new calendar for my desk at work, I was happy to see that amazon had a calendar for the office still available. All of the stores that sold this item locally were sold out.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Sierra Club Planner book) 『I love the Sierra Club Planner that I ordered. The pictures in it are fantastic. Also, it took only a couple of days to get here.』
(Beautiful pictures) 『I love the quality of photography in this calendar, and as always the layout is easy to use for planning your week! Only one downside, they've gone with cheaper paper this year, and the pages are a little lightweight for a calendar - can stick together, and may tend to curl a bit. But It's still overall a great calendar.』
(Great weekly planner) 『I love this calendar. The photos are gorgeous and the overall design is very tasteful. The weekly format is excellent and there is plenty of space to add events/activities. The last couple of years I had been buying the Audubon calender which is very similiar. I noticed that Audubon and others were printed in China. I would love to find one of this quality printed in the USA. This one is printed in Italy.
』
(I'm Addicted!) 『Every December I get another one. I can't change because the Sierra Club calender starts with Monday and goes to Sunday. If I switch to the traditional kind that starts on Sunday, I write my appointments on the wrong days out of habit! That gets me in soooo much trouble! It's the nicest one anyway and the perfect size so I don't mind. The Amazon price is half what it is at the bookstore.』
(Buy one (or more) every year!) 『My family has been purchasing these calendars yearly for our own use for at least ten years (probably as long as they have been published); and we give them as gifts at Christmas, too. Pros: Stunning photography (one glass-blower friend used a photo from the calendar as inspiration on one of his most incredible creations!), plenty of space for daily notes, and a binding that doesn't self-destruct halfway through the year. Cons: Can't think of any! A truly terrific calendar!』 『The most popular nature calendar ever published, this Sierra Club classic features“wire-o” binding, a week-by-week format, and 55 full-color images by some of America’s leading nature photographers. It’s perfect for holiday giving!』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Great Buy) 『It is easiest to get from here. It is well worth the small amount of money for it. It came with in two days of me ordering it. You can spend more on other calanders but this one has so much more info on it.』
