(Very enjoyable)
(Steamy fun, a triple love story and a decided lack of mope.)
(WOW, WOW, WOW)
(Harmless sexy fun.) This is my second Emma Holly book. I liked it, a lot. Other reviewers have mentioned the lack of plot and that's true, but it's still a good read. The thing is,I didn't really care one way or the other about the female character. The love stories involving her were shallow at best. The two male characters, however, had a really sweet love story. That one I believed with no problem and I really liked them both. Bottom line, the book is worth buying and reading. I might not re-read it, but I did enjoy it. I love the fact that Emma Holly always comes up with something fresh and she's not afraid to tread new territory in an entertaining way. A sexy, sexy book involving m/f, m/m, and menage. The premise is somewhat slight but not annoyingly so, and the relationships are believable and so is the sex. Enjoyed it and will read it again.
If you like this one, I also highly recommend her book, Menage. Most of the previous reviewers have gone into aspects of the plot and I won't retread what has already been well stated. One thing that has to be brought up is that Emma Holly can write characters. People have traumas; they make mistakes and those mistakes mark their future actions and interaction with people. What Emma doesn't write is moping.
Charity's made a lot of mistakes in her life, but when she accepts Eric's offer and goes to B.G.'s manor, she charms her way into becoming more than another guest. Her sense of humor and no-nonsense approach make her irresistible to a pair of men who've, by no coincidence, isolated themselves from the world. She is inspired by Eric and B.G. to look beyond those mistakes in the past and see herself as the intelligent, perspicacious woman both feel Charity wants and needs to become. She however, invokes a change in the lives of the men by bringing some much needed humor, kindness and warmth into their everyday existence.
It's wonderful to see the threesome falling for each other and even better to see a woman having fun with her sexuality, learning that smart girls can overcome bad beginnings and that there is a place for quantum physics in an adult story with plenty of steam. Charity/Eric/B.G. will heat up your libido and make you want to read more about paradoxical thought experiment known as Schrodinger's cat. I don't even know where to start...I'll just say this. I had never read this kind of book and what a great way to start. I was surprised by how erotic the writing was! Even the um...guy/guy stuff was really, really hot! (and I never thought I'd enjoy that part of it) Written more like a porno movie than romance novel but still a fun read! Not enough story for my tastes. Mostly sex scenes. Well written however. If you're looking for a bit of naughty self comfort, this will appeal. A young woman goes to a manision where she has plenty of sex, small amount of self discovery, and eventually finds love. Like I said, not much story but some harmless well written sex scenes. From "one of the best writers of erotic fiction around" (Susan Johnson) comes the hot novel of a young woman's sensual education at the hands of a reclusive professor who's adept at erotic mind games. " Determined not to repeat her mother's mistakes, high school dropout and unrepentant heartbreaker Charity Wills jumps at the chance to attend college for free. There's just one little catch... She must travel to the estate of reclusive physicist B.G. Grantham, who likes to play sex games as exotic as the particles he studies-and is obsessed with the thrill of being refused the one thing he craves. But Charity is more than up to the challenge-especially when Eric Berne, her sexy ""keeper,"" lends a hand. Behind the locked doors of Grantham's isolated mansion, the games begin. So does the education of Charity Wills-who's about to discover that the possibilities for sensual indulgence are beyond anything her wildest dreams ever allowed..." (Excellent Read)
(A great, sexy romance)
(A WIld WINSTON)
(4th book in Winston Brother Series) I titeled this my almost favorive because this only comes in second to her Buckhorn Brothers series. But other than those fabulous brothers this is Foster's best. Very sexy! Another excellent read by Lori Foster. You should read the Winston Brothers first - will give you a run down on the Winston Brothers and their wives. You won't be disappointed in this book if you are a fan of Lori Foster's books. A good beach book!! I've read a few books by Foster now, and I have to say this is the best of those I've read. Great characters, great romance, a nice minor suspense storyline. Just an all-around enjoyable romance read.
The romance was by far the biggest aspect of the book. Zane and Tamara are a great couple. And their scenes together are very, very hot. This is definitely one of the better erotic romances that I've read. It's sexy and sensual without being crass or just about sex. It's about the characters connecting and being drawn helplessly to each other. True, Foster doesn't quite do justice to the emotional bond, but I don't think the story suffers all that much.
I loved the side characters of Luna, Joe and Tamara's family. They were great, and I enjoyed the cameo's from the other 3 Winston brothers. Also, the small suspense angle gave the story some nice added depth, making the book more well-rounded.
Overall, a good read if you want a sexy romance. There was just something about her that drew him in. Of course she was making passes at him and saying things like "I want you" but she had a wacky family and a ridiculous costume that she wore to work. But there was that passion and that fire that seemed to come to surface everytime those two were within a few feet of each other. It was na great read just like all of Lori Foster's books. This is the Zane and Tamara story. Tamara works as a psychic and decided that before she leaves town she has to have one night with the hottest Winston Brother Zane. Zane has been having erotic dreams on the dark haired Tamara and can't pass up her offer... Check out all the Winston Brother stories and Say to No to Joe? (cousin the Winston brothers and being of the Visitation NC series).
In her deliciously steamy novellas, Lori Foster introduced the sinfully attractive Winston brothers. Now, in Wild, she continues their story-as sexy Zane Winston falls for an exotic lady who may not be at all what she seems.

(MARY'S "INNER" WOMAN)
(SCANDALOUS)
(Spicy!)
(sexual taboo)
As a huge fan of Mary Morrison I can only say how sorely disappointed I was by this pathetic attempt at a novel. Although I am aware that Ms. Morrison is all about female empowerment and sexuality, I think this book took her "message" to a really low down level. While erotica is fine in novels, I thought this book lacked heart, soul and even a decent, coherent plot. A male boss raping his employee? That is absolutely sick and disgusting. Partner swapping, rape, sexual favors...and then we're supposed to believe that Nick and Natalia are soulmates? Gimme a break. I seriously question the author and the publisher who published this book. Sadly, I fear that publishers now believe black readers will read anything if you feature a sexually graphic cover. This book is the pits! REVIEW by Kola Boof SEXCAPADES 5 Stars
I love Mary B. Morrison (aka Honey Bee).
I recently got to meet her in person and she's even better looking than her photos/videos--not to mention just as wild, provocative and viviciously down to earth as the fabulous books she writes.
She has an energy and a "truth" that makes it impossible not to like her.
"SEXCAPADES" is hotter than july, but for us Mary B. Morrison fans it's winner due to the fact that there's actually a story and Mary doesn't skimp on the quality simply because she's exploring erotica with this new line.
I liked it because it's like a Mary B. pop novel but with super HEIGHTENED pheramones---plus, as you know, Mary tries to be outrageous, but God has touched her with an "INNER CLASS" that makes her so charismatic while doing it.
SEXY, sexy, sexy book.
GO HONEY B.!

Sexcapades by Honey B is hot off the presses and in the wrong hands can turn an unsuspecting person into a NYMPO. This book is not only filled with great detailed sex scenes; you have a combination of how-tos, self-gratification, tips on threesomes and a look at voyeurism through the eyes of the professionals.
Nick and Natalie are extremely competitive, not only in the work place but in the bedroom as well. What started out as a friendship with perks has turned into a love affair, but can Nick convince Natalie that he wants more than sex? Natalie is an amazing woman with a take charge attitude and turning men out is her thing. While working on a million dollar deal, she realizes that she might want more than sex from Nick. Is it possible to take their swinging relationship down the aisle? Can these swingers become monogamous?
Justin is overworked and unappreciated by everyone in his life or so it seems. Married under pressure, hating his wife, his life and his job, Justin has a dark secret that will cause major disaster if it hits the light of day. Lola and Devaughn are the married couple that Nick and Natalie swing with from time-to-time, but when Devaughn catches feelings for Natalie can he separate love and lust? Lola is a work-a-holic but loves to live in the fast lane so playing with Nick and Natalie gives her a breath of fresh air in her stale marriage. Devaughn is a kept man, who when propositioned with a deal of a lifetime, has to decide if he should throw caution to the wind and lose himself in the game called life.
This book explores sexuality, competitiveness, creativity and is well-written. The storyline is a definite page-turner along with the vivid descriptions and colorful characters is a must read. So get your body lotion and your boo and get ready for a smooth ride. I recommend this book to all erotica lovers.

Nick and Natalie are two ambitious professionals that are competing for the same CEO position in firm that they work for. They also share an explosive sexual relationship outside of the workplace. But Nick and Natalie are now having feelings for each other that go way beyond sex. Justin Flint, Nick and Natalie's boss, has the power to influence the board of directors on who would be best suited for the job. Justin is bisexual and is so attracted to Natalie and Nick that he comes up with some sinister ideas to get them to compete for this CEO position. But when Justin's painful childhood secret comes to light, it may destroy everything that he's worked so hard for.
Sexcapades is a wickedly erotic novel by Mary "Honey B" Morrison. Honey B masterfully penned a tale that shows just how far a person can go in order to further their career. All of the characters in this story are raw and complex, but the one that stands out the most is Natalie. Natalie is a woman that exudes confidence and sexiness. She knows what she wants and will not compromise herself in order to get what she needs. But you will also see that Natalie still wants a long-term relationshipâ¦just like Nick does. This novel would not be complete without some wild, over-the-top sex. Honey B even gives readers a few tips and tricks at the end of the book for them to use in their own repertoire. Sexcapades is a spicy and tantalizing novel that will leave you highly anticipating anotherbook in this erotica series.

sexcpades has a great storyline however, the instructions and the overly descriptive sex acts were a bit much. don't get me wrong i love erotica and i'm an author of it and i'm even featured in Zane's "Succulent" Chocolate flava II so it get's no naughtier than that; but i didn't need a how to manual in a novel. I believe Mary should write a how to sex book because she has a lot of useful informaton to share.
Now back to the story devaughn was a opportunist, Natalie was although trying to appear strong really was weak to allow the men in her circle to treat her like a piece of meat. Devaughn and his wife also played roles that were out of the norm. I never met black folks like the ones in this book. who in their right mind would use their retirement money for a job they may/or may not get? No one i know. What man wouldn't kick the dog mess out of another man for raping him no matter if he was his boss or whomever. no one i know.
Justin was manipulator and a big child at the same time. All he did is whine along with the other men in this book about getting head. i don't know if men (maybe lil boys but not men) go around whinning like this all the time. although, i do know sex is defintely on their minds 24/7.
the story line was excellent and could've been more in your face but the sex scenes overpower the storyline which i felt had a lot to offer if explored more especially justin's.
mary is one of my favorite authors and will always be but the with the next honey B book can we get a some of the high end drama you normally bring to the storyline, still make it sexually charged minus the how to segments? Otherwise keep em coming Mary...ahem...i mean Honey B!!! Nick and Natalie are two lovers whose sexual lives are more than above average, but they are both competing for the same CEO position in the firm that they work for.
Justin Flint has the power to persuade the Board of Directors. He is bisexual and attracted to both Nick and Natalie, but he doesn't know that they are lovers. After secretly sleeping with both of them, Justin announces his decision. Natalie has gotten the position in Paris. Nick is furious because he has sacrificed his sexuality and his manhood for this position. Natalie is now torn between the love of her life and her dream job. She chooses to move to Paris. Although she is in Paris, she is miserable without Nick, so she creates a position for an assistant so that he will come to Paris also. Will Nick follow her? (my review)
(*TRIAD*) Witches Knot: Triad is a decent sample of paranormal erotica. Others have reviewed the storyline pretty well, so all I'll add is that for long-time and/or prolific readers of "menage" erotica (paranormal or otherwise), this book doesn't offer anything new. I had the feeling throughout the book of "been there, done that." It's a decent book for someone trying out the genre, but not my recommendation for avid readers of such. This book was a great read!!! There are some instances where you know that the plot can't occur naturally in real life and the dynamics between the two men sharing a women are fictious. But I loved the book and look forward to reading the rest in the series. This book was a lot of fun. Of course you have to suspend disbelief to accept the situation but that's why it's called fiction. The New Orleans setting gives it the proper atmosphere to carry the story along. I do think that one reviewer who panned it, should look to their own mispellings and grammatical errors before they point a finger at an author. i enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next in the series. This book was okay. NOT true to life in just about every sense. I kept thinking "yeah right". Which is unfortunate but come on...guys just aren't that accomodating and more power to you if you've found one! Nice story but way to slow. I kept waiting for the third character to enter into action. Well it takes forever! To many details in the story and not enough "get on with it". (Floating through words)
(Eloquent and erotic.)
(Objectification as Art)
(A Thrill and a Seduction) Dean is an American college dropout visiting France and who meets the narrator through a social dinner. The story focuses on Dean's relationship with a young French woman and on the narrator, who remains quite an outsider but totally in awe of Dean. This book is atmospheric and haunting. Salter beautifully describes the France of small towns through the eyes of a foreigner and the whole atmosphere just adds to the desperation and loneliness of the narrator. I read this book a few years ago as a young, wide-eyed college student. Recently, with more experience (both literary and in life) I've come to it again and I'm still amazed by Salter's ability to put me into a trance. I can see a little bit of the Hemingway influence that people have pointed out (and I believe Salter himself has listed E.H. as an influence), but more than anything else, I see this novel as owing a debt to "The Great Gatsby," with it's unreliabilty and dazzling lights.
Salter's language is not perfect throughout, his style falters for brief moments, but for most of the novel it is nearly impeccable. The unnammed narrator is one of the greatest (and maybe the most) unreliable narrator of all time, starting in the second chapter with the words "None of this is true. I've said Autun, but it could easily have been Auxerre. I'm sure you'll come to realize that. I am only putting down details which entered me, fragments that were able to part my flesh. It's a story of things that never existed although even the faintest doubt of that, the smallest possibility, plunges everything into darkness. I only want whoever reads this to be as resigned as I am. There's enough passion in the world already. Everything trembles with it. Not that I believe it shouldn't exist, no, no, but this is only a thin, relfecting sliver which somehow keeps catching the light."
One of the most common criticisms of the book is its erotic, nearly pornographic, content. To some I would say that it's worth the possiblity of being offended (or merely shocked or even aroused) just to experience the pure beauty of Salter's prose. To others I would point out the historical context of the novel. After Grove Press won the right to import and sell D.H. Lawerence's "Lady Chatterly's Lover" American novels across the spectrum were, and many still are, saturated with sexual content. Salter, more than any other writer I've read (and I've read a a lot) deals with sex in a manner that is almost too poetic to be real but too grounded to be surreal.
In the introduction to this particular edition (Farrar, Straus and Giroux 2006), Duke University Professor and acclaimed novelist Reynolds Price argues that this novel "is as nearly perfect a narrative as I've encountered in English-language letters, a more brilliant and heartbreaking portrayal of young sexual intoxication than I've found elsewhere, and an unbroken exercise of prose that leaves me proud of my native language and of a fearless man who labored to lay it out with such useful opulence." I can't help but agree. The writing is lovely. Salter strings together words in a refreshing and clean style. The story itself didn't grab me the way I had hoped it would after reading previous reviews. It's not so much a love story as it is a lust story and as such it never quite gets off the ground. Perhaps because it was written 40 years ago and nowadays we are so inundated with graphic sex scenes that those in the book failed to titillate as no doubt they were intended, although I still found them somewhat alluring. The two lovers (Dean and Anne-Marie) characters are never fully realized so I didn't feel any emotional connection to them (and I'm unsure if they felt any emotional connection to each other). I enjoyed the vagueness of the narrator. Everything is described by him, as though he were imagining what the young lovers were doing, so the line between reality and fantasy was so blurred that the reader is left unsure as to what actually transpired behind closed doors, which is perhaps the point. Absolutely worth reading thanks to the languorous language. Salter has an incredible sensuous style, so I'm giving this three stars because I just like how he puts the words together on the page. But for me this books feels utterly dated. It was apparently written in the 1960's and it shows -- disaffected American (Dean) hangs out in France, has lots of erotic yet completely emotionally unfulfilling sex. No one communicates very deeply with anyone, nothing seems to have a point and of course it all ends badly. I suspect it seems much more meaningful if you are a certain sex (not mine) and beyond a certain age.
The sex (did I mention there's lots of it?) is vividly described yet weirdly depressing. Why? Maybe it's because I'm a woman and the woman in this story is treated as an absolute object. There is no real effort made to get into her head, and she appears to exist solely to be a docile receptacle for Dean's sperm. For all the emotional involvement our hero feels for her, he might as well have just bought an inflatable doll. So yeah, I find that kind of depressing. This book set me spinning in dilemna trying to decide whether to devour or to savor each of leaf of this luscious novel. It's so delicious it drove me crazy wondering if I should have taken it all at once or milked it nice and slow to last me forever. James Salter can do this to a girl. Seductive and poetic prose fills the lines with the most evocative imagery I've seen in a long, long time. Just be ready for that cold shower, if you know what I mean. It's subtly spicy from the start, with language so intriguing it's impossible not to fall in love -- unless you are totally out of touch with your own sensuality -- or unless you hate the French, which is of course a common sentiment in many political climates. But the novel is not about the French, only the language of love that the French so enjoy.
Keep an open mind and be delightfully thrilled and seduced by the world and the characters created here.
“As nearly perfect as any American fiction I know,” is how Reynolds Price (The New York Times) described this classic that has been a favorite of readers, both here and in Europe, for almost forty years. Set in provincial France in the 1960s, it is the intensely carnal story—part shocking reality, part feverish dream—of a love affair between a footloose Yale dropout and a young French girl. There is the seen and the unseen—and pages that burn with a rare intensity. Rerations < A Sport and a Pastime: A Novel >

(Prostitution?)
(Hard core fun)
(Great graphic novel) I think that this Jill's book is the best published work of its author. Extremelly hard, well drawn and really fun, this compilation of perverted stories happening to a tremendous girl becoming a luxuous prostitute "for the fun" is a true boost for the libido. Enjoy ! Jill: The Part-time Lover marks Kevin Taylor's first full-lenght graphic novel that doesn't involve his cult character of "Girl". Jill's made appearances in past anthology issues of both his own publishing and in the Spanish adult comic series, KISS. Except for artbooks, Kevin Taylor's usually worked in just the black and white medium. Even with such simple line art Taylor's work was second to none in the adult comic industry. I would say that with his unique style when it came to drawing his female and male characters, Taylor was one of the more unique and talented artists in the comic industry as a whole. One thing that fans had been waiting for him to do was to finally make that leap into making full-color work. He showed that he could work as well with color as he does with black and white in his artbook, Foreplay. Well, fans were finally rewarded when he released Jill: The Part-Time Lover.
This graphic novel is about a certain college girl named Jill (who also happens to be very good friends with Girl and another of Taylor's characters Blue) who like all college students works alot of hours to pay the bills and rent while trying not fail her classes. Jill has also been using her substantial physical assets and charms to get herself very good grades. In a scene that seems straight out of Penthouse Forum Letters, Jill figures out that she can charge her teachers and strangers for her services. This would solve her cash problems and also allow her to quit her job at a clothing store where her female boss has a definite jealousy issue with our gal Jill. The rest of the book sees our gal pal Jill going from one sexual encounter to the next with each one trying to the top the previous scene.
Kevin Taylor doesn't skimp on details when it comes to plotting and framing the sexual sequences. With color now adding a new dimension to his previous excellent use of black and white line art, Taylor has managed to make his work on Jill: The Part-Time Lover even better than his previous ones. This book gives a tantalizing glimpse into what the graphic novels of Girl's future sexual escapades will lookl like. This book is definitely not for prudes and those easily embarrassed. There's nothing thought-provoking about the story and the book in itself. But what Taylor delivers is a down and dirty, and fun look at a girl going about her business the only way she knows how. For fans of Kevin Taylor's past work this is a definite must-buy. I'm just curious if/how the book manages to make worthwhile material with a story about a woman nudged into prostitution? I'm not saying it's not possible, but does it manage to do so? This work is by the same writer/artist who created Girl. It has hard core pornographic comic book images and story - if that is not your thing, then consider yourself warned. It tells the story of "Jill" a high-priced hooker who usually hooks up with men with large sex organs. The low point, of the last real encounter of the book, takes up too much space. However, most of the other sex scenes are good. Adult Full-Color graphic novel.
Man, Jill is sure one hot woman. Right, sorry. This book is about a young woman named Jill. Jill narrates the story through the method of an "audio" diary.
Jill just moved out of her parent's home a couple of months ago and needs some money to pay her bills but is having trouble keeping jobs. Man that girl is hot.
The story starts with Jill waking up with three men after getting drunk with them at a bar. She tries to disengage, succeeds and leaves to try to arrive at her job on time but she is already late. She slips into some skin tight clothes without adding underwear to her ensemble and heads off to her clothing store job (oh, and her tights are semi-transparent).
In her get-up, Jill makes a lot of sales at the store, but knows that she is going to get fired. While Jill is in the break room, the store owner's son enters and oops, out pops his huge johnson. While they are having some fun the manager looks in, is shocked, and leaves. After the "fun" is over, the kid gives Jill some money (oh, and that "fun" has made certain sections on the waist of Jill's tights completely transparent). Despite selling a lot of merchandise, Jill is told that she will be let go at the end of the week.
While attempting to set some sales records Jill is approached by some men that want to know how to "get" with her. She tells them to pay her. They don't want to do that and leave. Two other men overhear and wander up and ask how much and then offer $1000.
