customer 's review (interesting twist to the time travel scene)
(This is Absolutely the Best time travel I have EVER READ!!!)
(Spellbound)
(second worse book I read this year)
(SIMPLY FANTASTIC!! WAITING BREATHLESSLY FOR THE SEQUEL!!) This is the first book I've read by this author and it won't be the last. Marian Edwards brings to life two wonderful characters. She doesn't pull any punches about how life could be harsh in 1067 in Wales but still she shows that love can conquer all. This story actually begins in modern day with Regan, a handicapped woman and Drew her polital opponent die tragically in a plane crash. They die before thier time so they are put into the first two bodies that become available. that of Bronwyn, a beautiful Welsh rebel who has just murdered her new Norman husband Christophe. Christophe makes Bronwyn drink the same poisen and they both die only to be made whole again by the souls of Drew and Regan. Both remeber their former lives but don't realize who the other really is. They now must adjust to this harsh life and find what happiness they can. Everytime they seem to be getting closer to love something always drives them apart. I was on the edge of my seat with this book wondering what was going to happen next. There is some humor and a lot of tenderness in this book. I enjoyed the secondary characters for they made the story whole. I can't wait to read the sequel. Heaven's Return. Bronwyn of Lllangandfan is about to be married to the enemy, the Norman Lord Christophe Montgomery. Her father and brother convinces her to go through the ceremony, and after, to put poison in the wedding wine. They will provide her will an antedote to drink before hand. So terrified of this Norman and frightened by her abusive father and brother, she makes a mistake in the dosages and ends up killing the Norman as well as herself.Regan Carmicheal and Drew Daniels, are political opponets. But that doesn't stop them from remaining friends. On a flight to the next campaign stop, they both think to themselves that they are attracted to each other, respect each other, but have never found the time to really explore anything past their friendship. Suddenly their plane drops and crashes. Drew is able to get to his free, but Regan is held secure by her seat belt. No matter what they do, they cannot free her as the flames begins to engulf the plane. Regan pleads with Drew to leave her, thinking she would die at least know he lived on. Drew, regretting all their missed past chances, stays with her. He is not going to let this valiant woman die alone. After the plane explodes, Regan later awakes to find she is in strange place and dressed in a strange medieval costume. Worse, she is wife to a man who thinks she tried to poison him. What Regan does not know is as the life force of Bronwyn and Christophe blinked out, the Fates so touched by Regan's and Drew's self sacrifice, took pity on them and gave them another chance at finding love - as Bronwyn and Christopher!!!! WISE Writers and Readers TIME TRAVEL Book of the Year 2000 After reading Heaven Sent , I could hardly wait for Heavens Reward. Both books kept me reading until the late hours of the night after work. I was not disappointed and I have sense read more books by Marian Edwards. All I can say is Marian keep it up. I got intrigued by the cover summary (two people that knew each other in our time are sent back into the bodies of a medieval couple fighting each other due to the historical circumstances), but the book was poorly written. There is no real character development, no real character attributes (besides statements like "cared for others") that would make the couple recognize each other. It is only about the sex between a lovely woman and a brute of a man and about the mistrust between them. This has got to be one of the best books I have ever read. To think when I first read the synopsis I wasn't interested. I finished the book in one sitting. It was simply fantastic, I'm waiting breathlessly for the sequel. This is my first time reading a Marian Edwards book, but it won't be my last! Rerations < Heaven Sent (Zebra Splendor Historical Romances) >

(Leslie LaFoy is My FAVORITE author!!!)
(The best romance I've read in quite some time)
(This one goes on the keeper shelf!) My first Leslie Lafoy, and I loved it very much! Now she became my favorite author. This is must-read for any time-travel reader. I highly recommend this book! My first Leslie Lafoy, and I loved it very much! Now she became my favorite author. This is must-read for any time-travel reader. I highly recommend this book! I have read both of the books Leslie LaFoy wrote and I absolutely love them. She has fantastic characters. The women are strong, self reliant, but still hold on to their feminity. The men are strong and with great personality. I love her writing style....I am dying to read the next book she wrote. Leslie LaFoy...don't you ever stop writing, you are talented, clever, and have definitly found your calling! Mindy When the bus pulled into the depot from my commute to work I was terribly dissappointed. I wish I had hit 2 hours of traffic becuase I did not want to put this book down. The story of Carrick and Glynnis was a delight to read. The fast paced, witty conversation, easy quips and light banter had me laughing with the characters. I had some idea how Ms. LaFoy was going to end this one, but I didn't care. I now have to go out and buy the previous book - the story of Carrick's parents, something tells me it will be worth it!!! What a fabulous read! Once I started reading, there was no putting it down. Fast paced action, compelling characters, and a wonderfully intricate plot. And suspense up until the very last page!! It just doesn't get any better than this. Congratulations, Ms. LaFoy! I'm your reader for life. Please give me more! With her remarkable flair for storytelling, Leslie LaFoy is back with another irresistible romance, as a spirited cowgirl with a sure aim is hurtled back through time into passion and peril....Riding hard against a Kansas prairie storm, rancher Glynis Muldoon makes a sudden leap--and lands in the year 1832 in the forest hideaway of a rogue Irishman with a bounty on his head. Stranded in time, Glynis wages her own battle against a hunger she cannot deny for a man she cannot afford to love, a man whose destiny was decided long before. Carrick des Marceaux, "the Dragon," is an outlaw indifferent to death--for, in the ruby of the Dragon's Heart, he has foreseen his own. Now, in the shadow of the hangman's noose, Carrick lives only for his cause. And Glynis must gamble with fate and death itself--to win a once-in-a-lifetime love. Rerations < Lady Reckless >

(Fun time travel romance) Yesteryear's Love Janet Quinn Amber Quill Press, http://www.AmberQuill.com [...] Reviewed by: Lynn-3-5-09 [...] Rated 4 stars
Sarah Martin is still upset after being attacked and almost killed by a stalker that is infatuated with her. Her best friend, Lee Ann, took her out for an evening of dancing. Sarah knows she needs to return home, as she has been staying with her friend. Well, it was just a one-time thing. He wouldn't bother her again--or would he? The police must have locked him up--or did they? She needed to get back to her job.
Out for the evening, she meets Josh. Who should appear in the night club--the Stalker. This time, will he finish what he tried before? Josh to the rescue. Can she ever get away from him?
Sarah flees to Moose Creek, Wyoming, where her Great Grandmother lived. Reading the diary of her great grandmother, she enters the church that is still there. Staring up at the stained glass window, Sarah is transported back to 1870. Suddenly, Sarah has to adjust to living the frontier life. She meets her Ancestors and Joshua, who were looking for his mail order bride.
Sarah is falling in love with Joshua, but knows she can never marry him even though he keeps trying over and over to get her to marry .After all, her life is 130 years ahead of what he is living in. Can there love to test the time, can she interfere with the past? Can she have a future with a secret that she has hidden in her heart?
Janet Quinn has written an interesting novel of time travel and takes the readers back to the old west and frontier times. The story line is quite enjoyable. This was a book that was hard to put down. Sarah Martin remains jumpy after being assaulted with fists and a knife by a lunatic named Jack. Her best friend LeeAnn takes her to a singles bar where she meets a seemingly nice fellow Josh. However, Jack arrives, grabs Sarah and tries to kill her for the second time. Sarah presses charges, with plenty of witnesses able to testify. That night, Jack makes bail and is released. Sarah flees Los Angeles heading to her great-grandmother's home in Wyoming.Sarah arrives in Moose Creek where she enters a church and stares at a stained glass window. The next Sarah knows is she has awakened in 1870 where she meets Joshua Campbell, who insists she is his mail order bride. Sarah meets her ancestors, who like everyone else cannot understand Sarah's ways. However, that does not stop Joshua from falling in love with her. She reciprocates his feelings, but rejects his consistent marriage proposals because her time is one-hundred thirty years in the future. YESTERYEAR'S LOVE is an interesting time travel romance that takes a modern person back to the wild west. The opening chapter in LA adds nothing to the tale. However, once Sarah lands in the nineteenth century, the story line turns enjoyable. Most charming is Sarah's actions and words causing much consternation among the Moose Creek residents. However, Sarah's own reactions seem off-kilter for someone who showed six years of interest in the era starting with her great grandmother's diary. Still Janet Quinn paints a warm tale that leaves readers thoroughly entertained. Harriet Klausner In a century-old diary, Sarah found a glimpse of 1870s Wyoming... and the man of her dreams.
Following the clues of her great-grandmother's diary, Sarah Martin went to Moose Creek, Wyoming. In the town church, she's strangely drawn to a stained glass window. She turns away--and finds herself over a hundred years in the past! It's 1870, and suddenly Sarah must adjust to frontier life and meet her great-grandparents. Then handsome Joshua Campbell arrives--and Sarah falls in love. But she can't interfere with the workings of the past--can she?

customer 's review (Awesome)
(Oh please! The characters aren't likable and the plot is overwrought)
(Typical romance readers)
(A very balanced, symetrical time-travel read)
(WOW) I loved this book. Time travel is one of my favorite genres, but this puts a new twist on it by switching two distant relatives 140 years apart. What makes it work, is although the characters initially seem unlikable, when they are switched it brings new life to their personalities and they are more fitting with the switch. The men Fabian and Jeff are fabulous mates for the switched girls Missy and Melissa. I was thoroughly entertained by this one. At first, I was quite captivated. Great concept.
But it suffers from a few problems: Lack of interesting characters, implausibility even when you accept time travel, and over-stretching to keep the stories parallel. But worst of all was the total lack of humor in this book.
Melissa was such a weak character, and she and Jeff are so darn earnest they're boring. And Missy had her moments, but after a while it was just sex between her and Fabian, and that got old too.
I'll accept time travel. I'll even accept a 25-year-old was the general manager of a manufacturing plant. I'll swallow that the families accpepted the knock on the head as the reason for the complete reversal of personalities. But is it even SLIGHTLY plausible that the slavery issue and women's rights would have really gone the way it did? Too bad she couldn't just concentrate on the romance, made it 100 pages shorter, and left out the political claptrap. And I can't resist commenting that after their daughter was knocked unconscious, not only did the 1992 family get her undressed and into a nightgown upstairs in her own bed (closest couch, or dare I say "ambulance," anyone??), but then they have her put on pantyhose and a slip to go to the ER? Yeah. I think we could have saved her wonder for mondern fibers until a bit later.
The parallels are too contrived. Must they really have exactly the same conversations with their "parents" on the same day? I ended up skipping the second descriptions - heard it already. Must they really have 3 friends and convert each set to their "new" way of thinking? Must they have family dinners and parties on the same day? It's too bad she couldn't let each simply develop their respective romances at their own pace.
But the real problem is that not once did I laugh. No witty dialogue - just a lot of name calling by Missy and nauseating ernestness by Melissa.
For a time-travel book that leaves you breathless with the romance and also makes you laugh out loud, read A Knigth in Shining Armor. The other reviewers complain about how mean Missy is gush about wet bread Melissa. My only complaint was that Missy was too much of a weeny too with a lot of name calling but no real spine. But I suppose a lack of backbone is a requirement for a romance heroine. I loved this book. My favorite characters were Jeff&Melissa, and I did not find Jeff to be a wimp. He was very much male. He was incredibly protective of Melissa, and the things he said about Fabian really put that guy in his place! I do think, though, the book should have been called something like "Misadventures with Missy" or "Missy Makes Things Miserable". She was very dominating, however, both her&Melissa made changes for the better through their personal growth in different time periods. Missy became less selfish&Melissa became more self-assured. One reviewer said this book had a sad ending, but I didn't find a sad ending. I think it ended on a very happy tone. I had a lot of favorite parts. One was when Jeff took Melissa to dinner, only to have the waiter hit on her, not once, but twice ... another was when Missy discovered she loved the taste of cigars&brandy on Fabian's mouth ... another was when George told Melissa he knew she was not Missy. I definitely recommend this book and I will read another book by Eugenina Riley again. I was CAPTIVATED by the content of this book. I could not put it down. I find it funny that the families couldn't tell that it was two different people. I gave it 4 because the ending could have been a lot better, on the real though this book was the $h!t! customer 's review (Definitely enchanting!)
(Great Time-Travel)
(Great Time Travel!)
(enjoyable book 1st in a series)
(A Fun Romance) This is the first book in the Hope Chest series and I found it fun, with a realistic heroine, not like the "Walk on me, it's okay!" wimps in the books that came out in the 70s or 80s. Brains are sexy and Gina Charles is definitely smart, smart-alecky and resourceful as well as adaptable when she finds herself thrown back in time.Drake Manton is equally as sexy as a mesmerist who knows his talents are far more useful as theraputic methods than parlor tricks. The characters were true to their individual times (21st century woman and ninetheenth century man) and the hotel was a wonderful main setting as well as a neat time travel element. Don't look for an old-fashioned romance here--it's fresh, new, and entertaining! Drake and Gina's story is a really fun time travel, and part of a great series. Gina is, thank heavens, a modern woman who doesn't get stuck in some of the more tired cliches of the past, and Drake isn't one of those alpha heroes that you want to bop over the head. I love how it's his ghost that draws Gina back into the past, too. Why can't *I* check into hotel rooms like that? I highly recommend ENCHANTMENT, and the whole Hope Chest series. I really enjoyed the quirky, liberated, modern, intelligent heroine in this novel. The hero is a nice contrast to her upbeat personality, and together they make a great romantic couple. More, please! This is the first book in the Hope Chest series. I had read the 3rd book, "Grand Design" first before I found out it was a series. I really enjoy these books. They have excitment, mystery, passion and humor. All the must have ingredients for a great book. The other books in the series are "Fire With Fire" and "Stolen Hearts" There is a fifth book but I don't have that title as of yet. This story starts off in modern day with our heroine, Gina running away to nurse her wounds after she discovers her fiance making love to her best friend on the eve of her wedding. She ends up in a town called Hope Springs. There she meets our hero or at least his ghost. Drake Manton died in 1885 but is somehow haunting the small hotel she's in. She is the only person who can see him. He has no idea how he died and asks for her help. When they discover that he died in a fire at the historic Chesterfield Hotel they go to the ruins only to find a chest filled with several items. When gina picks up the melted gun she is transported back to 1885. She has to make a living in the past and unlock the mystery of Drakes death and keep him from dying and she can go back to her own time. The thing is that she really falls for Drake and he for her so the questing is will she go if she gets the chance? I really enjoyed the suspence of finding out. I look forward to other books in this series and other by this author. After finding her finance with her best friend Gina runs away and ends up at the Chesterfield Hotel. She sees a ghost in her room who asks for her help. And there is where the fun begins. After finding a hope chest she is sent back in time. Trying to fit in and change Drake's fate is only part of the fun of this book. I am looking forward to the rest of the Series there are five books in all. customer 's review (A heart warming story)
(Good Story)
(A book worth reading)
(Fabulous!)
(This story deals with love and how it heals people.) Ever get a warm fuzzy glow after reading a special romance story? That's me right now. Although this story has some tough elements in it, child abuse being the most prominent, the way Ms. Plunkett handles these issues are wonderful. Melissa, the tough-no-emotions-military captain, fears nothing, not even death. Being hurled through time gives her another chance to live life. She is a very complex character, whose past has strictly shaped her. This is why (ironically) being thrown into the past without a memory, forces her to grow and love in a way she never could have if she had retained her memories.Rory is a little too perfect for my tastes, and is almost too good to be true. He is a great mind reader (knowing what is going on in Melissa's head even before she does), a gentle friend, ideal lover, and a compassionate person. I wonder why he did not chose the church instead of architecture. For the purposes of this story, Melissa needed such a paragon, but I might have given him a few flaws (besides his few bouts of self doubt). Such tender moments with Rory and the children really make the story complete. There is so much depth and interest generated in this story, that I was sorry to see it end. This is a good story with an ingenious plot. Major Melissa Fuller becomes one of the shooting stars she so loves when she is caught in a meteorite shower while repairing a satellite in space. When Rory McCullough finds her in a wilderness lake in Northwest Washington Territory, it's 1887, and Melissa's memory banks have been fried. The story unfolds as Melissa regains memories of her past life and struggles to reconcile the woman she was, with the woman she is becoming now in the past (a nice literary contradiction!). A tragic turn of events brings the story to a climax, with Melissa forced to choose between the present/past, and her future. The author does a nice job of illustrating how Melissa's character undergoes a transformation and begins to open up to Rory's love. The only reason I didn't give this book 5 stars, lies in the character of Rory. He is a good man, but his personality is portrayed as fairly one-dimensional, even though there are plenty of hints in his personal history that would give us an opportunity to see a few human flaws. It would have been nice to see a little more of the story through his eyes, without so much idealism. However, overall, he's probably the perfect contrast to the jaded Melissa. Shelan is really well-done and the reader gets just enough of her backround to tantalize. Overall, I recommend this book - it has a fairy tale quality that can make you feel good! I enjoyed reading this book, and would suggest it to others looking for a good romantic novel . . .If you want to read a book that goes straight to your heart, read Stolen Moments by Barbara Jeanne Fisher. . .It is a beautiful story of unrequited love. . .for certain the love story of the nineties. I intended to give the book a quick read, but I got so caught up in the story that I couldn't put the book down. From the very beginning, I was fully caught up in the heart-wrenching account of Julie Hunter's battle with lupus and her growing love for Don Lipton. This love, in the face of Julie's impending death, makes for a story that covers the range of human emotions. The touches of humor are great, too, they add some nice contrast and lighten things a bit when emotions are running high. I've never read a book more deserving of being published. It has rare depth. Julie's story will remind your readers that life and love are precious and not to be taken for granted. It has had an impact on me, and for that I'm grateful. Stolen Moments is written with so much sensitivity that it made me want to cry. It is a spellbinder. What terrific writing. Barbara does have an exceptional gift! This book was edited by Lupus specialist Dr. Matt Morrow too, and has the latest information on that disease. ..A perfect gift for someone who started college late in life, fell in love too late in life, is living with any illness, or trying to understand a loved one who is. . .A gift to be cherished forever It's easy to see why Heaven's Time has been nominated for a RITA. The compelling characters and enthralling story make for page-turning romance. I admired Melissa's strength and courage to face her weaknesses. But Rory. Ah, now there is a hero any woman could fall in love with. This book is a real keeper! I loved this story. The Hero was so compassionate and wonderful. I hope the character of "Shelan" has a book of her own. All I can say that this book is "one in a million!" Melissa Fuller thought she could get closer to heaven by being an astronaut. What she got instead was a deadly meteorite shower. Washington Territory, 1887. Rory McCullough saw the falling star before it splashed into the lake beside his mountain home. From those waters he rescued a woman of ethereal beauty. She could not speak and did not yet understand how certain death had transformed into a new life--and a promise of love. customer 's review (Quick and easy read, entertaining and thought-provoking story)
(oh my goodness!)
(Loved it!)
(Read her other ones instead)
(Time After Time) I was actually surprised by this book, in that I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I love time-travel novels and a friend gave me this one to read ... now I'm going to find more by the author!
I will say it was a very quick and easy read, with some depth and some very comical scenes. Some of the central themes about love and death made me think. I do think Kelly assimilated into 19th century life a little too easily. And that the 19th century people she interacted with seemed to take her bold and unorthodox ways a little too smoothly. However these issues didn't detract from my enjoyment of the story.
I especially loved Mammy Clara and Miss O'Days character portrayal of her ...what a rich and rewarding character. All in all, I'm gladI read it.
P.S. The story would make for a fabulous movie! I picked up this book for a hopeful quick read at the beach and was not disappointed! First time reading this author and I am now searching for her other books! Highly recommended! I loved this book. I felt like the characters were really developed, and you could truly understand the progression of the romantic relationship. I enjoy lots of romance novels, but many develop into love out of the blue! One minute their fighting but lusting and the next they're declaring undying love. This author took me with the characters through their feelings;it felt real. I can't wait to read more of her novels. I've been reading Constance O'Day-Flannery's books for a while now, and I always pick up every new one. But this one is a major disappointment! The characters are flat, too nicey-nice, and it's just really boring. I used to believe in the romance in her novels, but, in her last three or four, she's gotten too New Agey (and I say this as a native Californian) and has forgotten the basic principles of romance. Try her earlier ones instead, especially "Once in a Lifetime," which is really good. An interesting attempt at looking at how a modern woman may (or may NOT) adjust to being thrown back in time 100 years. The main character spends a great deal of time railing against the concept of time travel and saying it isn't possible. A majority of the book is spent with the main character coming to "acceptance" of the situation and building relationships with other women in the time. The actual romance is a secondary and minor plot. The male lead is not the focus of the character development and seems pretty flat. If you are looking for a story with a woman having trouble accepting her situation, this book is for you. If you're looking for a in-depth romance, this book misses the mark.
Bestselling award-winning author Constance O'Day-Flannery is the one true Queen of Time Travel Romance. Join her now in a story of a disillusioned young widow who returns to the past, caught, to her horror, in an unflattering lime green bridesmaid's dress when she meets the man whose love is destined to be hers. Time After TimeAfter existing in a fog since the death of her beloved husband, Kelly Brennan is suddenly ready to take control of her life. Only she didn't expect her new life to begin in post-Civil War New Orleans. Kelly isn't sure if she's losing her mind or just enjoying a really good dream ... one chat comes complete with a man who looks strikingly similar to her late husband. Widower Daniel Gilmore is the epitome of the Southern gentleman: charming, handsome and with a devilish glint in his eye that calls to the dormant heart she's locked away. In the years since Daniel's wife passed away he has shuttered himself off from those dearest to him, and not even his precocious daughter Lizzie has been able to draw him out of his misery. But then Lizzie brings home a strange woman in a dreadful gown who speaks about odd things called "automobiles" and "telephones" -- a woman who bears a remarkable resemblance to his wife. With a daughter in need of a mother and a heart in need of love Daniel yearns to keep Kelly by his side ... provided he can let go of the past long, enough to live in the present and convince Kelly that his present is where she belongs... customer 's review (Very enjoyable read)
(At times delightful; sometimes unlikable)
(Any Time, Any Place -- very highly recommended)
(A funny, fast-paced read!!!) Thoroughly enjoyed this story&its sequel "To charm a knight". A very unusal premise in that it is a time-travel agent who is a wizard from the 19th. century, takes you to where you want to go in his shop "Any time, any place". And it only costs $1,000,000 to find your hearts desire.
Unique way to time travel; a time travel agency! I liked much of this story. It involves a very young duke, the nephew of our hero. Someone is trying to kill him and our heroine and hero become involved in trying to find out who that is.
What bothered me was that Arden (our time traveler) felt the only way to make Royce learn to have fun again was to seduce him. I found that thinking flawed and was disappointed when he finally succumbed to her - after all he was trying to be honorable and true to his betrothed. Plus Royce was worried about who was trying to do away with the duke (his 12 year old nephew William). I felt there were other ways to help remember more carefree times... Both Arden and Royce seemed a bit shallow - I found no depth to them!
Other characters in the book were interesting. Giles and the Dowager Duchess, Dora, were well fleshed out and their romance was actually better than the "main" event. Arden's Aunt Lavinia added a nice touch to the story.
All loose ends were tied up much too quickly, plus Arden was too modern throughout the book - I think she would have been rejected by everyone in society for her shocking ways --
Good for a quick read, not a keeper.
Any Time, Any Place is an agency appearing in the French quarter overnight. With its artistically aged sign and poster of the Roman Coliseum and the Acropolis, not as look now, but as they looked when new, Arden St. Clare couldn't resist investigating. The proprietor assures her the time-travel agency will only be there a week, "depending on whether the solar winds stay calm." He recommends the Regency period, a time of romantics and rebels.Arden has dreamed for years about living out just one of her fantasies. An orphan, her aunt and uncle would not like it if she takes a vacation. They only believe in the pleasure of making more money. St. Claires would never ride in Mardi Gras parades or rub elbows with movie stars. They would behave as tradition behooves. So time-travel offers the perfect solution! She can be carefree and reckless, and the St. Claires will never know. Her antics won't disrupt the New Orleans's upper crust, or her family business. Unfortunately, solar flares throw the trip off a bit, and she lands in the right time, wrong place. Dropped off, the proprietor and the time-travel shop disappear before Arden can ask any questions. She walks through the woods, pausing when she hears angry voices. Two men are leaving a young duke, dosed with laudanum to freeze to death in the woods. Rescuing the boy after they leave, Arden takes him to a nearby cottage to spend the night. The next morning, a searching uncle discovers them. Rather than a season among London's high society, Arden finds herself in the company of the young duke and his uncles. Captain Royce Warrick, a hero of the Battle of Waterloo, is terribly suspicious of Arden and how she came to be in the middle of woods. Someone has made several attempts on his nephew's life. Royce can't decide if Arden is friend or foe, yet he can't deny his attraction for this unusual woman. Arden's struggle with the language and the conventions of the time is humorous, while her cheerful attitude and flair keep the novel moving along quickly. Linda Kay does a remarkable job of making the impossible not only plausible, but also delightful in the plotting of this memorable tale. If you read only one time travel novel this year, make it TO TAME A ROGUE What a fabulous book! Linda Kay's TO TAME A ROGUE had me laughing out loud and was the perfect way to spend a lazy, rainy afternoon. I can't wait to read more by this writer. If a time travel agency appeared in your neighborhood, when would you go to? When Arden St. Clare came upon Any Time, Any Place while walking home, she arranged a trip to Regency England. "To Tame A Rogue" tells the story of Arden's voyage through time from the present to 1816. Among other things, she saves a kidnapped duke, meets one of her ancestors, and untames a tamed rake.
