I’ve been a fight fan ever since, and my wife’s become an even more rabid aficionado than I; she’ll tell anyone who’ll listen how she wangled a press conference pass and met Freddie Roach and Manny Pacquiao.

It’s a tough sport to love. You have to watch twenty lousy fights to see one good one, and I think you get better odds kissing frogs. The judges miss half of what you see on TV, and screw up their cards accordingly.

And the sport’s brutal, and takes its toll. . .

Aakar couldn’t manage a reply as his windpipe was still being crushed by Harry’s hand.
Harry dragged Aakar to the roof edge and forced him to look down twelve stories.
Michael spoke to Aakar.
‘This is not a discussion, I will ask two questions, you will answer anything else and you take up flying for the rest of your life.’ He looked over the edge, looked back to Aakar and said. ‘about 30 seconds I should think.’
Michael continued.‘My two questions are. What is the target? and what is the date?’
The huge black man relaxed his grip on Aakar’s throat to give him a chance to answer.
‘I don’t know what you are talking about.’ he choked out.
‘Wrong answer.’ Came the reply as Harry threw him over the edge of the roof top.
Harry and Michael watched Aakar’s flailing body fall and smash onto the concrete below. The body exploded on impact as if full of red paint.
‘I guess he couldn’t fly.’ said Harry as they retraced their steps.
