I swear, I'm still a kid at heart I'm 43yrs. I have my Nintendo Ds because I asked for one for x-mas. I know,but but every niece in my family asked for one why not me too. So on the 12-26-08 I got this game so I can play it on my nieces Ds's only with there permission&a promise to re-charge it when I'm done. And on my birthday this year. On Feb I got a crimson red one I wanted the silver. But it was the best gift ever. I now own 9 games, so far. I love puzzles which I'm doing the reviews on this site. 『Let's give a clap to Nintendo! Finally, I think, a DS that has better sound and you can take pictures with and record your voice with. And before I do the real reveiw, this is great for children that have a DS and liked it but wanted more. Also, if your child wants a DS and/or a camera/recorder then this is great. FIRST, I have a DS Lite and I can compare.

I don't have a DSi, BUT my friends do and I have have played it a lot. Don't think that I have not even played a DSi, I HAVE.

If you are a fan of Nintendo and have a DS or DS lite, you may have had troubles or complients. The DSi is a new better, DS with all of the problems removed. There for, you will have less or no problems at all. And if you do, this is normal and not every product is perfect. The DSi is very fun, as I know of. But I do think Nintendo over prices the toy...! After playing this at my friends, I wanted it for Christmas. Here's a tip, you should play the DSi to see if it's worth the money and if you like it.

Any way, it's a good product over all. Thank you.

(Bowser's chance to shine)

『Not much more to say that hasn't already been said. Easily one of, if not the, best games for the DS. Fun, very playable, good story. Worth every penny paid, even at "just came out" prices.

My only gripes are minor: It felt a tad short, though maybe I was just hungry for more. Some people feel that maybe Bower's gone a bit soft, and doesn't hold much clout as a bad guy. Then again, the Mushroom Kingdom isn't exactly a dismal wasteland with heinous villains, so it's really not so bad.

How can you go wrong in a game where you get to command a giant dragon turtle as he fights buildings? You can't. Must-buy.』

(Best darn DS title in years...or less)

『when I got this game I was thinking of it being like Partners In Time, but man, was I wrong. the level of storyline, gameplay, style motions, well...just about everything has made this game so awesome!the only complant I have is not about the game but my DSi. I would call my self a butter fingers, i tend to drop mostly everything I have in my hands, and more recently video game consoles, namely, the DS, after one-two drops the L button just quit then few more drops and the R button cant work now and agian, so, heh bad on my part. the most surprising thig for me was the cameo's of the shroobs! the one shroob in Faful theat-er, i mean Bowser's castle thats in a chair and if you talk to it all it says is '...' i was surprised! and the fight between the shroobs with M&L was cool, although i died institly, ah Luigi had the right idea to run from those evil mushrooms from outer space. The replay value was amazing I accidently deleted my first file and unlke most games for me, it was fun to replay the game, then losing my DSi WITH the game in it, was a loss, but christmas is around the corner so im getting my hopes up

(Bowser in the spot light)

『Since Mario and Luigi Super Star Saga came out for the game boy advance, this series has continued to keep me coming back for more. And this time we get to play as Bowser, which was enough to get me interested. So what keeps this game going?

It isn't like Final Fantasy where you have epic plots and huge soundtracks to go with it. What makes this game one of the best games ever is that its fun. It has charming stylized graphics, fun little voice overs, puzzles that don't bore you to death, a fun and rather challenging battle system which, though is turned based, keeps the player on his toes by allowing to counter when enemy attacks and making all the special moves unique in design and execution.

This installment even takes the extra mile and adds loads of fun mini games and my personal favorite part, the Mega Bowser boss battles, where you hold your DS vertically and execute all moves on the touch screen.

I found this game to be a little easier than the pervious title, Partners in Time, but that is OK to me because there were moments in Partners in TIme where I thought the difficulty was just too much.

Bowser's inside Story is about 24 hours of game play, but I wouldn't mind revisiting it in the near future. It offers plenty of secrets and special moves and there is even a optional hidden boss. Fans of Partners in Time will be pleased with the optional boss as I was.

All in all this game is constantly mixing it up, keeping it interesting. The battles are fast paced and exciting. The graphics are nice and charming. And beating the sense out of enemies with Bowser has never been so much fun. I give this game five stars out of five. I finished it just in time for the New Super Mario Bros Wii game. Let's hope that game is just as good as Bower's Inside Story.』

Story
The story ofMario&Luigi: Bowser's Inside Storyis an atypical one in the world of Mario and Luigi in that the two plumbers team up with Bowser for the good of the Mushroom Kingdom, even if Bowser is totally unaware of it. As the game opens the Mushroom Kingdom is seen to have been struck by a sort of infection known as "The Blorbs," and exposure to it has caused out of control physical ballooning of the Toads. A council of the who's who in the Kingdom, including Mario and Peach, is assembled to try and figure out what to do about it, when right on queue, in barges Bowser, intent on dragging away Peach. He is stopped and shown the door by Mario, but later is tricked by the villain Fawful to eat a "Lucky Mushroom." Brainwashed by this, he returns to the council where the mushroom causes all the council to shrink to a tiny size and Bowser to literally inhale them. Fawful and his henchmen then set about taking over all of the Mushroom Kingdom, even the parts that Bowser has staked a claim to. Nobody, except maybe Mario, takes what is Bowser's, so there is going to be trouble. Although now very small, Mario realizes a few things. Peach, as usual, has gone missing, Bowser and he are on the same side in this fight and that Bowser will need help. How will Mario save the day this time? That's up to you.

Gameplay
A single player action RPG, action inMario&Luigi: Bowser's Inside Storyis split between the player-controlled team of Mario and Luigi, trapped in Bowser's stomach, and Bowser himself. These play out as two separate paths of action, constantly overlapping, which players can toggle between and engage in. As they do so players see that Bowser's actions on the outside affect the conditions for Mario and Luigi in his stomach, and the actions of the plumbers can add or subtract from Bowser's abilities. Examples of this are the good and bad things that Bowser swallows that the Bros. must deal with, and conversely the toll an illness the Bros. can affect has on Bowser's physical abilities. Players can see this link for themselves when at times during the game Mario and Luigi are shown on the lower DS screen, while simultaneously Bowser moves in in-game real-time on the top screen. Again, these two paths lead to the same place, the defeat of Fawful. The challenges that players face in doing this is the basis for the RPG gameplay, with players gaining experience points in the challenges that they face, which can be used to level up character-specific fighting and other abilities and even buy in-game gear. Additional gameplay includes puzzle-solving, searching for hidden items, mini-games and more, engaged in as the team of Mario and Luigi, and Bowser on his own.

Key Game Features

Two Separate Storylines- One features Bowser and his efforts to stop an arch-villain from taking over his castle. Meanwhile, inside Bowser, the microbe-sized Mario and Luigi must muscle their way through challenges and keep their nerve if they want to find a way out. They take action to control Bowser from the inside– but without his knowledge.
Switch Between Storylines at Will- What happens inside Bowser affects what he’s doing on the outside. Sometimes Mario and Luigi must solve puzzles and challenges behind the scenes to help Bowser overcome various obstacles and advance the plot.
DS/DSi Integrated Gameplay- In some battles, Bowser grows so large that players must turn their Nintendo DS or Nintendo DSi system sideways, blow into the microphone or tap on the touch screen with the stylus to keep up with the action.
Distinctive Nintendo Humor- The game features the same hilarious dialogue that has been the hallmark of theMario&Luigiseries.
RPG Gameplay- A players work their way through challenges they can level characters up with experience points.

The System
The Nintendo DSi is a high-powered handheld video game system in a sleek, folding design-loaded with features designed to create a unique gaming experience. Like the DS and DS Lite before it, the DSi features Nintendo's trademark stylus-driven touchscreen technology, but determined to make portable gaming simultaneously larger and smaller in all the right places, Nintendo has also created the DSi with significantly larger screens and an even slimmer body design than its earlier cousins. Other features include the ability to snap photos with built-in cameras, edit and send them to friends, play back your music with Nintendo DSi Sound, or browse the Internet with the Nintendo DSi Browser. The DSi's Two Digital Cameras
The most noticeable feature of the slim Nintendo DSi system are its two cameras - one camera is situated on the external body pointing away from the user, and the second one points at the user when the device is flipped open. As the first truly interactive digital camera in a video game system, the DSi Cameras feature 10 different interactive "lenses" that can manipulate your photos, offering an easy way to take and share your photos with family and friends. The cameras also present people with unprecedented ways to interact with their games, and in the process provide developers with a new tool to devise creative games and experiences. If the touch screen gave Nintendo DS a sense of feel and the microphone allowed it to hear, the two cameras give Nintendo DSi the sense of sight.

DSi Sound
Another enhanced feature is the Nintendo DSi Sound application, which serves as both an interactive voice recorder and music player that allows users to play with their music while they listen to it. Users can access different audio filters or control the pitch and speed of recorded voice or music files to alter voices or change the tempo of a song. The mic is located between the two screens when the device is flipped open, and there is also a stereo headphone output that lets users listen to music saved on an SD card, even with the screen shut.

The DSiWare
In the world of software, Nintendo DSi will be the platform for the most relevant and fun on-the-go games and applications. The Nintendo DSiWare application will populate Nintendo DSi with software that can be downloaded using Nintendo DSi Points directly to the portable system, just as WiiWare has with Nintendo's Wii console. Developers big and small are invited to create software that makes use of the properties and functions of the hardware. Nintendo DSiWare games and applications will be available at a range of values, starting at 200 points.

Games and Backwards Compatibility
In addition to downloadable games, Nintendo DSi is able to play games made specifically for the system and sold at retail. The system can also play most Nintendo DS games, and will have access to a library of more than 850 titles originally made for that system. As an example of the quality of games that DSi players can expect to see both from both Nintendo and third-party game developers, at the launch of the DSi Nintendo is also releasingRhythm Heaven. A wildly popular rhythm game in Japan, where it has sold nearly 2 million copies since its release in mid 2008,Rhythm Heavenfeatures catchy tunes, charming characters, and a wide variety of rhythm games as it makes maximum use of the DSi's functionality.

Facebook
Nintendo DSi owners have even more ways to share their experiences with friends and family. Using an Internet-connected Nintendo DSi system and the Nintendo DSi Camera application, Facebook members can take pictures with either of the system's two cameras and upload their photos directly to their Facebook profile. While reviewing pictures they've stored in the Nintendo DSi Camera album, which includes photos taken by users and manipulated using the built-in interactive lenses, users can simply tap the Facebook icon on the system's touch screen to instantly transmit photos to the user's Facebook profile. The user's system must be configured to a wireless broadband Internet connection for the transmission of photos.
