『Hello I'm an autistic adult gamer.

This is my review on Hello Kitty: Big City Dream's for the Nintendo DS.

I just bought this game today at Best Buy&am really enjoying it. The graphic's are great. I'm not a real big Hello Kitty fan But I do like Hello Kitty as far as the games&the show's go. Once you start playing the game your very indepent in the game&you'll get to help other character's in the game. Which is something I like doing. I like helping out. Over all this is fun game. I would recommend this game to anyone except for my guy friend's because I don't think they would play hello kitty. Over all this is a really great game. I was really suprised at the price that I bought this game for [...] because once you start to play this game you would really think it would be worth [...] but that's just me.

Try this Hello Kitty DS game you'll really love it. I know I do.

(Perfect for all girls still into Hello Kitty)

『I bought this game for my daughter's 6th birthday. She has played it almost every day since (I don't let my kids play games all the time) and she truly loves all the options available to her within the game. She has yet to be bored from it. The price is inexpensive as DS games go....so it was a win-win for both her and I. For hours of entertainment and great for trips, this Hello Kitty game is a hit!』

(Stylus recognition is poor)

『I was really excited to get this game at first but the slowness and difficulty of the stylus recognition started to get annoying. The characters are really cute and I enjoyed looking at them being animated, but the game itself felt underdeveloped. It seemed like the developers rushed it and did not fully make sure the stylus recognition worked. As a few previous reviewers mentioned, it is hard to select certain things in the game such as when Kitty was taking customer's menu orders in Tuxedo Sam's Diner. I was literally poking my DS screen really hard and maneuvering Kitty around to get the game to recognize my stylus pressing. I don't have this problem with any of my other DS games. For the price, I would expect better functionality. I bought a My Melody game from Japan and I don't have any stylus recognition problems at all.

I also agree with one reviewer about My Melody's mini game. Melody tells you to fetch her items from her store but sometimes the items either aren't there or when I bring her something that looks like it, she says it is incorrect so it is almost impossible to get points in that game. And when I do something wrong in Melody's mini game, she deducts points from me!

Another annoying thing is that much of the scenery is non-functional or blocks Kitty from walking. There is a section of a playground where Kitty cannot use any of the swings or see-saw. Kitty cannot even sit on a park bench! After a while, they start to be obstacles in your way of moving through the game. Very annoying.

The train ride and bus ride also take very long and you cannot "skip" them. Kitty's room is cute but once again, non-functional. You cannot use or sit on any of the objects in the room. It would be nice if she could at least climb into her bed.

The game feels underdeveloped and not very functional. It feels like they rushed it to make sales. I will give this stars for the cuteness but the functionality is not great at all. Many flaws. If you're an adult Sanrio lover like me, I think you will get bored of this quickly. I beat the game in 3 days and now I don't want to look at it. I would suggest only buying this if you can find it on sale or used. Don't pay retail.』

Hello Kitty Big City Dreams is a mini-game based adventure where Kitty meets up with her old Sanrio pals like Badtz-Maru, Pochacco and My Melody and even make some new friends. Choose between two distinct modes - exploration and mini-game. In the exploration mode, Kitty moves around her apartment, explores the Big City and interacts with inhabitants and items she comes across. In the mini-game mode, Kitty will play through a variety of mini-games and earn friendship points that will allow her to purchase costumes, ride the bus or train, and of course customize her apartment. Kitty will be very busy helping and playing with her friends, from trying to beat Kerropi's Arcade Hero score, to lending Tuxedosam a hand serving customers in Restaurant Rush. Every girl knows something about fashion and when My Melody is in trouble, Kitty is more than willing to become an impromptu fashion assistant at her clothing store. After a long day out and about assisting friends in need, Kitty needs a stress-free night out on the town, only to find her crush Daniel Star, at Destination: Dance.

(DS games are SUPPOSED to work on DSi's!!!!)

『We bought the DSi only a week before we got the game because my son wanted it so badly. The Guitar Hero was the only game he really wanted so we bought it for his birthday. Well--no where on Amazon did they say it wouldn't work on DSi's&ALL other games do so we didn't know. We bought it&my son opened it&we couldn't even hook it up. Now we have a game that was expensive&can only get 50% if we return it. Used games stores will only give us like $6 for it... This is rediculous as it's never been played&in it's original box (only thing missing is the plastic wrap!). Very disappointed that it is not on the box anywhere or even on the Amazon website that it is not compatible for any other system than the DS.

Instead of smiles for my sons b-day--he was in tears!!!

Not sure I would trust Amazon to order DS games again!!! At least if I had bought it in the store I could have returned it for a FULL refund!』

『i bought this for one of my daughters. she is 10 years old and she just loves this game. it teaches her about what good music is and she hears so much more in the songs playing this. its great. she has mastered about half the songs and its been about 2 weeks since she's had it. it keeps her occupied for hours!』

(Most entertaining game for DS)

『I recently received a DS as a birthday present and needed some games to play on it, so I searched online for all the possible DS games and tried finding ones that looked interesting to me. My search didn't go well. I ended up going to the store and buying four DS games that I became bored with not long after playing them.

Obviously I needed another game that could keep me occupied for a while, but did a game like that exist for the DS? I found out the answer is YES! I came across this GHoT:Decades Bundle at a store in the mall and bought it, despite the price which was a bit high. All I have to say is, it was definitely worth it.

Since I bought the game I've been playing it practically non-stop--- and even got my sister addicted. The Decades has twenty-eight songs for you to play, three of which you need to unlock. You can play the songs on different difficulty levels which is definitely challenging if you want to try and beat all the songs on the highest difficulty. Expert is INSANE. There are also three modes, Lead Guitar, I think Bass Guitar(?), and Guitar Duel.

You can Guitar Duel against the computer OR against a friend, provided your friend has a GH game. In Guitar Duel you have to try and get a better score than your opponent, but that's not all! You can get powerups in the game that you can use against your opponent---or they can use against you. These powerups can distract you, protect you from enemy powerups, speed up your game, and more.

The one and only problem with this game is, after playing for a LONG time your hand/wrist might start to hurt, especially on the more difficult levels. It is recommended you take long breaks from playing.

This game is a whole lot of fun and pretty easy to play---if you're playing it on one of the easier modes.

Need a new, FUN DS game? GET THIS!!

『I got this game expecting to be able to run around performing tasks and playing games around the little Sim Kingdom, but it's paced a lot slower than I was expecting and it isn't a whole lot of run. I don't really play it anymore, I was easily bored with it. Overall, it's only OK.』

『My Sims Kingdom is similar to the original My Sims game for the Nintendo DS. You have to help a king with his kingdom.
The tasks in this game are pretty good, if you get stuck it can be frustrating though. After a few hours of playing you might get bored because you basically do the same things over and over again. There are mini games which you can always replay, but they're just OK.
The characters in the game are funny and the locations are pretty cool, too. This game just lacks replay value. If you liked the original My Sims, then I'd recommend this game for you, if you haven't then I don't think you need to buy this game. It is not a must have.』

Style Lab: Makeoveris a single player fashion simulation game for Nintendo DSi and DS that allows tweens and teens to create their own virtual styles whenever they want. Packed with mini-game challenges designed to hone players' skills at creating different looks, and able to utilize imported images for use in virtual makeovers (this functionality only available through the DSi), it places players literally and figuratively at the center of the game, where the only limit is the player's imagination.

Style Lab: Makeover, along with its sister title for DS and DSi,Style Lab: Jewelry Design, are Ubisoft's initial releases in the newStyle Labgame franchise. Gameplay consists of a variety of beauty challenges which test the player's ability to do everything from recreating specific looks on in-game characters from memory and using a model, to developing more subtle skills like applying makeup and hair techniques to create specific overall effects. Alternately players also let their creativity run wild in Free Mode, where they practice what they have learned on a variety of representations of women with different physical attributes.
