(Completely Broken Combat)

(Unimpressive Piggy-Back Title for the DS)

(Quite fun)

(High Expectations)

(Snoozefest)
I have to say that I only got a few hours into this game, and that the gameplay may improve later on, but the basic fundamentals are clumsy, unintuitive, childish, and, above all, lacking in any kind of strategy. It's like an RTS for 6 year olds; all you do is pump out disposable monster units, select your mob, and tap a spot near the enemy. If you want a real RPG get final fantasy III or IV; if you want a good strategy rpg get tactics ogre advance or FF tactics. Stay away from this, please.
I'll admit it, Square has an interesting idea here, brining a Real-Time Strategy title into The FF series. However, original ideas take time and money to develop fully, and it is obvious from this outing that Square has cut all the corners it could in this title, and again fails to take the DS seriously as a platform.

I have a deep love for all things Tactics on any platform, finding the character crafting and battle system to be deeply engrossing, allowing an excellent level of control and customization. I was excited to try out a Final Fantasy title that owes so much to tactics and even includes a crafting system for custom weapons! Boy was I in for a surprise...

The critical flaw with this game is that Square hasn't taken the time to fine-tune the RTS system. In an RTS game, the player needs to feel like a commander - the more accurately commands can be given, the better the game feels. RTS games have come a long way from the days of Warcraft I, but FF12RW is a serious step back. Nothing can turn you off a game like poor character AI, and nothing is more frustrating than watching your most powerful units (which are also the largest and most cumbersome), get stuck behind a couple of grunts, or watching your healer wander off to heal someone on the other side of the map - right into a group of enemies. I'd say about 90% of the time I found assigning units to separate tasks far too unwieldy and just used the all powerful 'X' (select all) button to get things moving.

I will admit that the crafting system is fun the first couple of times you make an item - and the 'questions' involved are downright hilarious. However, the only real choice for crafting items is in using low/medium/high quality ingredients - this determines the amount of stat bonus - and nearly all the items crafted are also readily available for good 'ol gil at the store. There's nothing about this system exciting enough to get you out hunting for ingredients most of which you just happen to come upon in the course of completing missions.

If this were the only obvious place I could see square taking shortcuts, I might be able to forgive a poor RTS system - so much of a FF game is in the graphic and storytelling. However, these also fall far short of Square's usual standards. The video is beautiful, of course, but I began to realise about halfway through the game that there is no video at all of either the "judge of wings" - the main bad guy, or the aegyl, the new race that story revolves around. Of course, there is plenty of stock footage of the characters out of FF12, but the only new model Square's team has put together for this is the titular airship, which is of course featured heavily in much of the promotional material. The rest of the game smacks heavily of repetition as well. You will find yourself fighting the same boss (under different names) half a dozen times at least, and the sprites for most of the enemies look like they were pulled directly from FF Tactics Advance.

There are some cool fearures to the game, and it is definitely fun to see all the references to Final Fantasy 12 thrown in there, but in the end, this game feels like Square trying to squeeze a little more mileage out of Vaan, Balthier, and the rest, rather than the broad epics they usually produce. If you're looking for a DS game that lives up to the usual standard of Square quality without relying on their past successes, check out "The World Ends With You." It's clearly designed from the ground up for the DS and has a great story that will keep you guessing!

If all the low reviews are from people who were expecting a traditional final fantasy game then they are irrelevant, no? It's not good to review a game based on what you wanted it to be. I am prepared to give you an unbiased review. Do you like real time strategy, do you like final fantasy? If yes yes than this game is for you. if you played heroes of mana and are scared of the idea of another real time RPG from Square-Enix, don't worry they got it right this time. The game offers a continuation of the story form Final fantasy 12. Once you get used to the game mechanics and understand them you will enjoy this game. The game has a leveling system and skills. You learn enw skills as you go and you find new equipment etc. you can play the same level more than once in order to level some more which is helpful and usefull. The game can be quite difficult. Careful planning of how to use your units is required, so if you are a strategy buff you will like that part of the game. Look it's good ok. Play it.
After purchasing and beating Final Fantasy III, I was excited to finally buy this one. I figured the storyline would be along the same line as Final Fantasy III, but it was confusing and totally different. They constantly introduced new parts of the story, and even at the end of chapter 9, I have no idea why I'm still battling. The graphics are crap compared to Final Fantasy III. Square Enix should stick to designing the characters as 3-d chibis, not pixeley squares designed to look like characters. Also, the controls are whacked and the things ment to help you don't make sense at all. Overall, super research the next final fantasy game you plan on buying, because you never know what you're gonna get.
I am a devout Final Fantasy fan, and I loved XII, so this games was a HUGE disappointment for me. The plot and character motivations are flimsy, so I'm not really sure why I'm fighting in the first place. But even worse, the combat style is terribly boring! You spend lots of time and energy putting together your own personal army of summoned creatures, but if you think you'll be able to keep them alive, think again. The battles become these big lumps of chaos, and it's difficult to precisely target characters, so healing is a pain. Even your main characters are almost impossible to keep alive for long. And everyone moves soooo slooooowlyyyyyy. This game put me to sleep. Square Enix, you can do better!
Vaan and Penelo from the original Final Fantasy XII are back in a whole new adventure! Vaan has now officially made it to being a full-fledged air pirate, and together they travel around Ivalice searching for adventure. When they discover the floating continant of Lemures, home to a magical Sacred Crystal, destiny calls! Developed exclusively for the Nintendo DS, Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings is an all-new experience that makes full use of the Nintendo DS's unique features. Featuring full Touch Screen functionality, Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings allows players to control massive armies, unleash special moves and activate Gambits, all with the use of the stylus. The world of Ivalice comes alive through the respected musical stylings of Hitoshi Sakimoto and the direction of Motomu Toriyama, the director of Final Fantasy X-2 and the upcoming Final Fantasy XIII. Familiar monsters from across the spectrum of Final Fantasy games, including perennial favorites like Chocobos and Tonberries. ESRB Rated E10 for gamers aged 10 and up.

(you get annoyed pretty quickly)

(Too Much Trouble)

(My brain hurts)

(Uneventful But Could Be Helpful)

(FUN FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY)
I was excited about this game but I got dissapointed just as fast. It is all about training your left side of the brain (for right handed people...for left handed the other way around) by letting you you use your "bad" hand.
I got annnoyed very quickly. I love all the other brain games but this one is too tedious.

I thought this game would be good because I enjoy Brain Age 2 and other learning games. This one though requires you to turn the nintendo ds around over and over again during a game. It is not worth the trouble.
I would give my right arm to be ambidextrous. At least they are doing something that can actually improve themselves . We have most of the educational games and this is one of the most useful. If only you could get an attachment to allow you to drive a monitor or a TV from the card, then your eyes would be allowed to focus at different lengths.
I got this game to, like everyone else, help balance out the usefulness of each of my hands. I was disappointed that after the initial evaluation exam, the game considered me almost 100% ambidextrous (I think I got 98%). It was disappointing because there is a noticeable difference in my writing between my right (dominate) and my left hand.

After the first exam I kept at it. I went through a couple of the different activities. I now know why I was considered almost 100% from the start. After working to get better scores on each of the activities, there was no noticeable increase in the usefulness of my left hand.

Some of the activities were enjoyable while others lacked any thrill what so ever.

I recommend borrowing this game and seeing if this is for you. If you get almost a perfect score from the first exam, pass over this game because it will not help.

I highly recommend this game for any age! It tests your left and right side (brain) utilizing various exercises-games and then grades your efficiency. It then continues to provide a variety of games utilized to improve your deficiencies. As I said it is for ALL AGES - I initially purchased this for my 8 year old autistic son and soon we all became addicted to it - my 14 year old likes it, my 10 year old, my 42 year old sister and it was one of the first games that I have ever played belonging to the kids. It is a game for the entire family. Easy to follow screen. Very user friendly.
Are you a ?righty" or a ?lefty"? What if you could be both? With Left Brain Right Brain, you can hone your mental skills to become truly ambidextrous. While training your hands with speed based DS mini-games, you'll also be training the left and right hemispheres of your brain. It's like two games in one! Use the Touch Screen in 15 different mini-games based on speed, accuracy, association, recognition, memory and strategy. Games include: Connect the Dots, Pop the Balloons, Feel the Music, Hit the Monsters, Touch the Green Square, Save the World, Open the Safe, Trace the Shape, Navigate the Maze and many more.
Monitor personal progress and assess improvement with development percentages for each hand that appear after play. ESRB Rated E for Everyone

(very dull)

(DolphinZ for DS)

(really good!)

(An ok game)

(Petz Wild Animals Dolphinz)
Dolphinz is a very dull game. You do nothing but feed and take care of them. Also, it's extremely hard to do. Any one who buys it wil probably end up selling it. That's what happened with me!
It was what I expected having purchased other games by Petz. This is just another one that my daughter had asked for from this company. It was not a disappointment.
This game was really fun! My daughter got it. SHE LOVES DOLPHINS!!!!!!!!!!!
She says this game was awesome. She said you become a dolphin trainer and help other endangred animals. This is totally worth your money. This game is also educational. My daughter also wants to be a dolphin trainer.
We recently visited the zoo. She got to talk to a dolphin trainer. The trainer showed her some hand signals. Then, this ds game showed her more!
My daughter and MY SON WHO IS 6 recomends it! WORTH YOUR MONEY!!!
Trust me, this is a game for your dolphin girl!

This game is, i beleive, origionally a asian gsme because the charictures are drawn in anime. The game is fun for awhile but then gets as little duller. You rescue animals with either a teen boy or girl and help feed, treat, trqain and clean up after them. I am on the eighteenth "level" and am getting a little bored just feeding anf treating. you get new animal alot but don't do anything different with them. it's ok.
Again, I got this for my 9 year old daughter for Christmas, She asked for it. She was extremely excited when she got it but only played the game maybe 30 minutes. She says game a little boring.
As a young boy or girl, you're sent to work into your uncle's Marine Zoo as a summer job. The park is located on a tropical island but the place is in danger, as a multi-national real estate company plans to wipe the park out of the map to construct a luxury hotel. To save the park, the player will have to take care of the animals, tame them for the entertaining shows and manage the whole park. He will learn mission per mission to love, tame, respect and understand the animals as well as better know the local ecosystem to save it. ESRB Rated E for Everyone

(Another good brain twist)

(??? ( 'o' ) Hmm ...)

(Just OK)

(Boring...)

(Best of DS tests)
You got to love Nintendo for continuing to find ways to tests you're levels of frustration in a game. Hours of good mind frustrating fun.
I picked up this game yesterday and I really like it. I'm glad there isn't a timer to each question cuz some I am really slow on like Math. *I'm terrible in Math*. I find this game not so challenging except for the Dominoes and Math. The rest is quite easy but I enjoy it and think it's a good DS game.
OK, this isn't a BAD game, it's just average. Yes, in the spirit of games like Brain Age, it does force you to think a bit, but Brain Age is actually stimulating. This is just sort of blah. Having said that, if you are looking for a break from Brain Age, this might not be too bad a choice to break up the monotony. Not saying there are worse or better games out there tho.
What a boring game! After all the other brain games my family tried, I thought this would give us a new challenge, but it's just boring to play, and we all lost interest after the first day. The questions are not even all that challenging, and I'm missing some of the fun features that other brain games have, such as fun graphics and sounds. If you've already played other brain games, this is likely to be a disappointment.
I really found this game, not that great, compared to Big Brain Academy .and Brain Challenge. When you have those games this one just doesn't quite make the grade.Actually 3 stars is being nice
I really don't think these are the best of the DS tests.

Find out how smart you are with Best of Tests DS. Test your logic, observation, memory, speed of perception and analysis. Calculate your IQ, based on renowned scientific protocols that define the famous Intelligence Quotient test. Make yourself smarter through the very many tests in this game. It adapts to your level to offer you a new test every time. Each test has varied rules and different ways to answer the questions, so you'll always be interested.

Incremental difficulty levels with tests that are increasingly more difficult! Serious results, presented in a humorous manner.

(Review for Nintendo DS Game Card Case)

(Good for travel!)

(Great Buy!)

(Perfect little cases!!!)
Whats to say? I ordered them. In less than a week they were in my hands. I'm happy, especially since looked everywhere for this particulat type of case. Amzon.com Rocks!
If your looking for cases for your DS on amazon, go for these ones, they store the games perfectly and not too tight. I think its the best ones available on amazon.
I love these cases!! They are perfect for traveling and keep everything organized. I like that they are see through and they are the perfect size!
Product is great!! You can clearly see the games in each of the cases. I thought they were soft cases when I bought them but was pleasantly surprised to see that they were hard cases.

Only con is that you have to be careful when opening case because the games could fall out.

Otherwise this is a great game case, slim and comfortable to carry.

I absolutely adore these cases. So much in fact, that i already own 5 of them! They do a good job keeping and protecting the cartridges, without adding bulk to your storage. Each case fits 3 DS cartridges, bringing the total storage of 9 for each purchase!.

(Great fun)

(Drawn to Boredom)

(THIS GAME WAS AWESOME!)

(good game, good graphics)

(My daughter loves this game.)
I personally enjoy drawing and designing things. so i bought this game for my younger brother. i also played on it and found it quite interesting. not only the drawing, but the story was also quite adventurous.
What "draw" me to this game (no pun intended), was the fact that you could create your own character and other elements in the game. Sounds fun, no?

That is not as fun as it should be, mainly because you are limited to the space, proportions and templates that the game gives you. There's not that much depth in it, and after an hour or two of playing you'll just be doing things just to get them over with.

Gameplay wise is boring, jump here, shoot there, and backtrack if you forgot something. This is the most annoying aspect of the gameplay. In each level you must rescue three "raposas" and collect 4 torn pieces of a template. If you skipped one, you won't be able to move on, but the game doesn't even remotely tells you what section you may or may not have missed. Making backtraging tedious and a constant.

The game difficulty is very easy, but in some stages is easy to die while jumping or flying, mainly because when you jump or "take-off" you won't be able to see the enemies coming right at you making you lose health or die.

Story wise, you play as the creator (you know God), who must help a village to defeat darkness. This is how the game goes:

1-Talk to mayor
2-Talk to some other raposa
3-Talk to mayor
4-Tap on the flame of life
5-Remove darkness from one section
6-Talk to previous raposa
7-Return to talk to the mayor
7.5 You may need to talk to another raposa again
8-Go through a gate and start "playing."

Is really annoying, the characters are dumb, there's really no meat to the story. You never feel bad for them, at a point I saw why the "creator" forgot about them, they' boring, annoying and demanding.

After reaching the "beach area" they say,: oh thank you the beach is great, but we're bored, can you draw some toys for us to enjoy." Hello, the creator doesn't do that you do dumb citizen!

This is the only game I've ever wanted to grab and throw out of the window, smash it with a hammer and burn it. It is that bad.

I think this game was awesome for kids and adults. It was sooooo addicting, i could not put it down. The drawing was a lot of fun too. Also the graphics were great!
this is a good game compared to some I've played. you get to draw one the main page and that's really cool. you get to draw your "hero" and get to play him through levels. you get to destroy the bad guy, but slowly. the graphics are good, the story is good and easy to follow and you get to interact with the characters. it is a little difficult but thats all that's bad with the game.
My daughter is an avid video gamer and she loves this game. Not only does she enjoy the actual game itself, she just loves drawing the pictures to go along with the game. The drawings can be as simple or as complex as you want to make them and then are incorporated into the game. She often returns to previous drawings and tries to outdo her last one. Her six year old brother sometimes plays the game and draws pictures. He's not interested in the actual playing of the game at all but is content to just make up characters. I think this would be a great game for all levels of gamers.

(It's Great! Oh, About That "Glow")

(Love this recharging glow dock)

(recharge my nintendo ds)

(good)
I thought I was purchasing this as a second charger for the Nintendo DS. This is not the case. The unit does not include its own plug, and requires the use of the AC adapter charger cord that came with the game. Also, if you have any kind of acrylic case or skin on your game, it has to be removed in order to fit into the dock. Item is overall a disappointment.
This charges. Plug it in, it charges! Alright! It's a great dock! It does exactly what I wanted it to do and what I payed for.

However, the glowing light can be a little annoying, but after a while i've gotten used to it. I hope it doesnt drain the electricity bill (Like $1 a month or more but probably not) so that's why I'm giving this a 4 out of 5. Mind the glow and you'll like it.

I love this recharging dock .The light can be used as a night light when charging your nintendo love the brightness love the color
I got this for my mom because I saw how she was trying to be so careful of the cord. We got it hooked up and she loves it for three reasons. 1. it glows blue her favorite color. 2. she loves that she doesn't have to sit a certain way because of the cord. And last she says it makes for a great nightlight. She has done so much for me I try to do whatever I can for her.
nice but buying it is a waste of money. cable doesn't come with it. i think it really doesn't matter if you plug it in directly your usb cable or plug your usb to this dock and then try to position your nintendo into the dock so it fits right into the usb hookup.
it glows. that's all. there is nothing so exceptional about it.

The ultimate charging station for your DS Lite has arrived! Intec's Recharging Glow Dock is the choice option for displaying and charging your DS Lite game console. Just simply snap the DS Lite onto the stable charging cradle, plug in your A/C adapter (sold separately) and your DS Lite is displayed and charged while keeping it safe from bumps and scratches. The angled cradle also displays your new DS Lite in great fashion! The transparent protective shield glows when unit is being charged.
