(Bolt DS game)

(false expectations)

(Disney's Bolt for Nintendo DS)

(Bolt)

(Quite difficult for the younger gamer (7 year old).)
I bought this game because it looked like it would be fun for my six year old. He really enjoyed the game at first until he got about half way through. The game uses a "sonic bark", to use it the player is supposed to blow or bark into the microphone. It does not work for us. We tried any which way. Unfortunately, there is a part in the game where the only way to move forward is to use the sonic bark. This is a great disappointment, since my son is now unable to finish the game. I hate to pay $30 for a game that is impossible to finish, because either the game has a glitch or the microphone on our DS does not work properly. There does not seem to be another way to get around this and that is why I gave this game a lower score. Would I have known about this problem ahead of time, I would not have bought this game.
I bought this game for my 5 and 9 year old girls. I was horrified to discover that most of the game was about shooting bad guys. There was nothing cute, or sweet, or about the story line of the movie. I returned it.
I bought this game for my 8 yrs old grandson for his birthday he loves it and has really enjoyed playing it the graphics are great also

My 5 year old son got this for Christmas and found it too frustrating. He enjoys watching me play. I personally find it a little too violent, but now I am hooked and want to finish it. I am stuck on the mini-game after Bolt gets put into the cage. I can't find any support online. I have been working on that part a little here and there for about a week and can't seem to get past it. Any help posted here is welcome! wink wink
All in all, I find it fun. The Wii is my first game system since the Atari I had as a kid, so I don't have much gaming experience to compare it too. We also have a blast with Mario Cart!!!

I thought this game would be a great buy because it was the one thing my 7 year old asked for for Christmas/Birthday. He got very frustrated with it because he said it was too hard.
I feel all is not lost because he has older brother who can get some use out of it, and also, maybe it could be a game that he could pick up some time in the future.
Bottom line; not a total waste of money, but will frustrate younger gamers and be pushed aside.

(fun game which gets challenging after first few levels)

(Sonic's 2D Debut on the DS)

(Pretty good game)

(Fun, but a little challenging)

(hack link)
I just finished this game and overall, I found it fun and satisfying. If you don't like platformers but like pinball games, you might still like this. There are many reviews here which state that the game is too easy, but it is likely that those reviewers were commenting on the first few levels of the game--even profesional reviewers (such as IGN) found the game tough. The game eventually becomes very challenging, almost to the point of frustration. Unlike the Mario games, where it is possible to finish levels on a first attempt, there are many blind jumps and unknowns which do require several passes and some memorization to pass through successfully. The first two levels can be finished by pressing a single run button but that is certainly not true for the later levels, where you'll need to remember when to boost through enemies or slow down to make it through a series of tough jumps. If you can tolerate the inevitable frustration, you'll probably enjoy the game--it might be a good tool to teach kids to observe and remember details (but it's probably too hard for very young children).

Aside from the "unfair" nature of the levels (blind jumps, sudden enemies, etc.), some other things you might find annoying:
--when doing loops and running upside-down, it's not always intuitive which button (left or right) keeps you going in the correct direction. There is probably some consistency to it, but it's not very obvious (like right-button for right when Sonic is right-side up but left-button for him to go right when he's upside down)
--boss levels are repetitive and less fun than the normal levels
--poor directions on some specific gimmicks--a D-pad button icon will flash and it's not clear if you hold on or press repeatedly (you just have to find out by trial and error)
--you can't quit a level until you've finished the entire game; this is annoying because if you are stuck in a region and don't have enough tension/energy levels to boost out, you can't just quit. As far as I can tell, you have to turn off the DS. That changes after you've won the game, but why not make it an option from the beginning?

Overall, a very good game for the price.

This game belongs in the same category as New Super Mario Bros and Diddy Kong Racing: one of the best DS games in my collection. I wish they would make 2D Sonic games like this for platforms that aren't handheld (PS2, PS3, XBox 360, Gamecube, Wii) other than keeping it on the DS. I played Sonic Rivals on my PSP, and it is WAY too easy. I beat everybody's stories in a zip, and the storyline was pretty boring, too. But Blaze is awesome, and it's about time they made a female with a super form. Blaze>Silver
This game is fun and challenging, and I would recommend it to anybody that owns a DS. This game proves that Sonic games don't need amazing graphics to be way-past-cool!

Ok, but seems rather redundant--just push the "run" button to the right, and Sonic runs to the end of the level. Not as great as other games I've played, but it's ok.
This is a great Sonic game, and the speed is incredible! The graphics are quite nice, though I have had some problems in the way of jumping high enough to clear certain barriers. Overall I would consider it money well spent if you spent it on this game, great fun and moderately easy.
Well, the Advance games remedied that, but they didn't quite have the scope and balance of the original sonic games. Yes, they were fast, but they were also ... kind of small feeling. They felt like portable versions of sonic games. They were good, but I always preferred the old-school Sonic games as the real achievements.
Sonic Rush brings back your favorite blue suse with an attitude. This time, Sonic pairs up with royalty - Queen Blaze the Cat - from another dimension to save the universe from utter destruction. Sonic Rush takes full advantage of the dual screens on the Nintendo DS system to deliver a frenetic adventure with dizzying dives, near vertical curves, extreme jumps, brain-twisting loops and more!

(This is a Good Brain Challenge.)

(Brain CHallenge)

(really testy and challenging)

(I just love this game)

(good challenging game)
This is a great way to test yourself daily. It isn't quite Brain Age or Brain Age 2, but it is fun and worth trying.
THis was ok.......somewhat complicated as to what score you get with each session. I dont like it nearly as well as Brain Age. Perhaps I need to give it more time but the dissatifation isnt worth the patience.
WOW, this game keeps you on your toes and gets a little difficult on some things..your hand eye skills really matter.Theres a couple things i have a difficult time with.As you get thru a test it applies new things..
It saves and records your progress .But only saves it for that days results.ya i'd recommend it for the challenges it will keep your brain waves working "ha..Like it way way better then the first one i got Brain Age". so ya want a challenge then get this one..

I have this game on my ipod for traveling and when I saw it for my dsi, I had to have it.

I have really enjoyed this game. Bought it b/c of reviews on amazon. I think the stress training part is very entertaining. Hope I get to 100% someday.
An entertaining brain training program, Brain Challenge" boosts brain activity and helps players develop stress-management skills thanks to a wide variety of games. (It gets the job done.)

(Not exactly what was pictured)

(Product worked fine)

(Not sure of what all to say but...)

(Dissapointment...)
I am glad I found this product because I did not want to buy a whole new DS. I lost my old adaptor for the chunkier DS while moving.

It works just like the real thing.

Product was a GBA charger, not a DS charger. The GBA charger works for the DS, but is considerably bulkier.
I ordered the a/c and the car charger for the Nintendo DS and they were shipped promptly and they work fine.
This thing is an official Nintendo product so I know it's going to last me more than a few years unlike the competition. These things cost $12 in stores but are very cheap on Amazon.

Note: It costs less than $2 to ship so, let the buyer beware.

This product is not what I expected. The quality is poor and it's not even worth the 2 dollars I paid for it. There is not much to say about this product but a simply DON'T BUY IT!!
Plug in the Nintendo DS AC Adapter into any wall outlet to recharge your battery pack. The small, lightweight design allows you to pack the AC adapter with your handheld system for a convenient back-up power source.

(GREAT)

(shields)

(Pretty decent for the price)

(reliable screen protector)

(What a RIPOFF)
AM SO GLAD I GOT THESE SHIELDS..GOT ENOUGH TO HAVE ON HAND..
MY SCREEN WAS SHOWING SOME SIGNS OF HAZING IN THE CENTER FROM USE....NOW I HAVE A SHIELD ON THE BOTTOM SCREEN AND IT'S GREAT..DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT REPLACING THE SCREEN OR THE GAME...
I RECOMMEND YOU GET EM WHEN YOU BUY YOUR GAME WILL SAVE YOU IN THE LONG RUN...

Product works great. Be careful to make sure you have it lined up exactly.
This is a decent product. The application is very easy if you know how to put a sticker on a flat surface.
My only complaint is that it's not as durable as I thought it would be. I had the touch surface shield scratched within two hours after I applied it to the screen. It's lasted since the scratch, and I've only managed to put a few more on the shield (at least it wasn't directly on the DS!) but overall, for the price I paid for it, I got a decent product.

Very nice screen protector, and fairly easy to install, there might be micro bubbles the first day but they'll be gone the next day, so don't worry about it. Very useful.
This was the best deal I could find, at the current prices this flimsy piece of plastic must be worth $100,000,000 a pound.

These screen protectors are the biggest ripoff I have ever seen in my life if I didn't like my DS so much I would probably throw it away.

You can take your screen protectors and shove them where the sun don't shine.

The Invisi Shields for Nintendo DS allow you to use the stylus day in and day out while protecting the DS touch pad screen. Includes two interchangeable, durable screen guards and a screen polish cloth.

(My Grandkids Love It!)

(Disappointed? Yep.)

(Mom of 1)

(Fun to play)

(best game)
My grandsons are 6 and 3. I bought the game for them and they really enjoy it! Even my granddaughter who is 7 likes the game. In part because the characters in the game are the same as the Clones Wars TV show they watch.

I think the graphics and sounds are excellent and it is a an easy game to learn. If you or your kids like Star Wars Clone Wars they will like this game!

I have to say this game is one of the most tedious games I have ever played. The gameplay is insanely awkward and the controls are a joke. I cannot see how this thing made it into production. One neat thing about the game however, is the amount of really decent cutscenes - I have not seen such lengthy animated sequences on the DS thus far. One totally irritating thing about this game is that you cannot "start" button through these animated cutscenes so you will be forced to watch them repeatedly. The gameplay consists basically of you awkwardly moving around activating various machines by tapping glowing lights, anti-climactic lightsaber fights and mimicking patterns to advance through the stage. I had to put this one down and go away. Games are supposed to be fun - I walk around activating things all day in real life. Boo.
It did offer him a challenge and he did enjoy playing the game.
He is 6 with a short attention span. Too many toys to little time.

My 9 year old son seems to enjoy the game a lot - as much as, if not more than, the other Star Wars DS games he has.
This game is awesome. I am able to play for a long time and be challenged. Never boring.

Not new to the overallStar Warsuniverse, the Nightsisters have been alluded to in many of the pastStar Warsnovels and a few of the games, butJedi Alliancegives fans and players alike their best view of them to date.

The Nightsisters are a coven of 'Force witches' aligned with the Dark Side, but not owing allegiance to the Emperor. Legend has it that they were taught the ways of the Force in the ancient past by a renegade Jedi. An outcast and thus unhampered by the decisions of the Jedi council, this Jedi created an Amazon-like society which ruled its far away homeworld with an iron fist in isolation. Although their close contact with the Dark Side gives the Nightsisters an appearance very similar to the Sith, they are not part of the same sect. In fact, as the events ofJedi Allianceunravel, it becomes clear that although they are a danger to the Jedi they may pose just as much of a threat to the growing power if the Emperor.

(Ben 10)

(my son love it!)

(BEN 10 FANS love it)

(ben 10 ds game)

(Totally Awesome!)
My 5 year old son loves Ben 10 so I just had to get him the game. He loves it. He has a hard time getting through some of the levels but when he does, he is very excited.
My 6 year old son just love it,. he is fighting those bad outer space aliens,.. :) on earth!!.
Rated given by kids... they love it... as an adult, i like that its not necessarily violent... its basic good kid fighting bad guys with basic superhero type powers... no guns, etc.
i looked for an easy game that my son could do on his ds. he has watched the cartoon on tv several times so i thot this one would be perfect for him. he likes it alot and gives him a mental challenge when he needs it.
This game is pretty awesome! It has great replay value, and you can master so many moves its unbelievable. I gave it a five star rating, but I do have one small itsy bitsy problem with it: You can only have five characters. But on the bright side, you can do so much with the five given it makes up for it! I definitely recommend this for fans of the show, or even those new to the Ben Ten world.
An inter-dimensional crisis threatens Earth and Ben Tennyson has had his alien powers stolen. As Ben and his family set out to recapture the source of his abilities, they encounter otherworldly armies and uncover plans to suck Earth into the Null Void. Join the Tennyson's adventure across the United States to recover the lost pieces of the Omnitrix.

(Age of Empires - Mithology)

(Eh it's okay)

(Great for Mythology Lovers)

(Very fun and enjoyable strategy game for the DS)

(fairly good strategy game)
The idea behind is the same of all the "Age of Empires". Despite of this, mythology behind the game is enough accurate to tempt the player to go on in the history and try all the possible scenarios.

For my experience of medium expert player, at least 2 months of playability are granted.

This wasn't the type of play i thought it was going to be, i find it to be a very difficult game to understand.
As a great lover of Greek Mythology, I think this game really captures everything. The graphics are great, the storyline for each culture is well thought out, and the actual cultures blow me away. Each culture (Egyptian, Greek, and Norse) all include there main gods, and each come with special powers that either benefit your culture or wreck havoc on your enemies. Also, each god you choose to worship comes with a mythical beast, ranging from sphinxes to harpies, and even to ice and fire giants. In addition, the gods seem to have an odd sense of humor, making you wonder if you should laugh or cry.
Another quality of the game is that, if you don't like the story mode, you can play a game against between 1 to 4 computer players.
Buy this game, and you won't regret it!

I bought this game last week, and have been unable to put it down since, it is VERY addictive! I wasn't sure if I would like it or not, seeing as how the only other strategy game I've played was the SRPG Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings (which is also an excellent game!), but I have enjoyed every minute of it. I can't compare it to the previous Age of Empires, as this is my first one, but Mythologies more than holds it's own.

MULTIPLAYER: Age of Empires: Mythologies supports Wireless DS Single-Card Download Play (1-2 Players), as well as Wireless DS Multi-Card Play (1-4 Players) and Online Play. I have yet to play multi-card play and Online Play, but the single-card download play was a blast! The premise of the multiplayer is the same as the campaign mode, where you try to defeat each other. The multiplayer matches can be very long, my cousin and I ended up playing a single match for over an hour, but they're a lot of fun.

5/5

GRAPHICS: The graphics are some of the best I've seen on the DS. They are colorful and sharp, with no jagged edges or blurriness. The characters and maps are very well-detailed. The graphics rival those from Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings.

4.5/5

GAMEPLAY: There are quite a few modes to play in Mythologies, including Single Player Campaign, Skirmish, and Scenario, as well as the Multiplayer modes. I have yet to play the Skirmish and Scenario modes, as the Campaign mode is sucking up all my time. The story is kinda lacking, but the gameplay more than makes up for it. On each board, you (typically) start with few characters, and must train more from the buildings that you build. There are two ways to win, either by Complete Conquest, where you defeat the opponents entire army and buildings, or what is called a Temple Victory, where you win (or lose) by default after you (or your opponent) reaches a certain number of Victory Points.

4/5

All in all, you really can't go wrong with this game. At $19.99, this game is a steal, even if you play just for the multiplayer. As a newcomer to the series, I look forward to playing Age of Kings, and any other Age of Empires that may be released for the DS.

Any questions or comments? Feel free to leave a comment, and I will try to answer your question ASAP.

The graphics are sometimes great (giants), but mostly so-so.
This game is nowhere near as good as the two Advance Wars games for DS, let's get that out of the way (and nowhere near as good as the GBA Advance Wars games for that matter).
Sadly also, this game is not as good as Age of Empires: Age of Kings, which is really one of the better DS games. It's (AoK) difficulty is high but rewarding; this game just never had the special feel that AoK has.
Overall this game is ok, but is lacking something. It's a lot easier than AoK and it just doesn't have the soul&depth that AoK has.

Inspired by the hit PC title and built on the game engine behind the critically acclaimed Age of Empires: Age of Kings, Age of Empires: Mythologies will be the ultimate portable tactical strategy game with its refined gameplay, inspired design, fantastic multiplayer, and extensive replay value. Age of Empires: Mythologies for the Nintendo DS is a compelling new turn-based strategy game that challenges players to shape the destiny of three unique cultures in a fantasy world filled with mighty heroes, legendary monsters, and powerful gods. Players will lead their Egyptian, Greek, and Norse heroes to victory by raising massive armies, waging war, exploring new frontiers, and advancing through three distinct ages that offer fantastic new units, abilities, and god powers like lighting storms, earthquakes, and devastating plagues that players can call on to smite their enemies.

(Addicted to Solitaire)

(Great Game)

(Great Solitaire Game)

(Great Relaxation Game)
I really like this game. Although it has over 100 different games I am stuck on and addicted to Russian Solitaire. Maybe some day I'll try another one.
It's an easy way to play Solitaire and I am learning other Solitaire games that is fun; too. Good buy!
I brought this game and I thought that Solitaire will be on the game and I saw that Solitaire was not on the game but I like playing FreeCell it is fun playing the game
This is a good solitaire game. It has a lot of variety and is a great time waster.
I purchased this game to relax at the end of the day. It is a great way to wind down and it is also good for your "brain" to do a little exercise too. With the 101 different Solitaire games, I have had it for weeks and still have not played them all. Just click on the "how to play" for each game and away you go. It tells you the skill level and also keeps track of when you played it and how you did previously.
Great game!!!

(Great Purchase on My Part)

(4 star)

(Awesome)

(Worth it)

(Great Game for 7 yr old)
I purchased Nintendogs Chihuahua&Friends because I absolutely love dogs, mainly chihuahuas. The graphics are life-like and they interact with you as if they were actual dogs. It teaches you what it's like to own an actual dog and is a great alternative for those who can not own a dog for whatever reason. The only problem I have with the entire Nintendogs company is that they do not have much variety in dog breeds. It is basically the same game over and over again with a different name and a breed replaced by another. I highly recommend Chihuahua&Friends if you are thinking of purchasing a Nintendogs product. Overall the game is fun and is great for all ages.
its a great game with alot of effort in it, but it lacks the pull that some games have... over time it kind of gets boring.
I got it within a week one of the fastest times ive ever gotten anything!
I got this game for Christmas. I'm not even a dog lover and I like this game! It keeps me entertained. I walk the dog in the morning and evening during my commutes on the train. Sometimes I keep it on during work to keep me company LOL. During the walks, you can meet other dogs in the neighborhood. You can train the dog, take it walking to find surprises in the street and sell the surprises for money. Use that money to buy food and supplies for the dog. You never know what kind of surprise is in the box your dog brings you! My dog finds random things -- even a meteorite! There is also different records/toys you can play to/with your dog. See how he/she reacts. You can also enter competitions for disc catching, agility, and obedience to earn extra money. There is a kennel where you can buy new puppies. The more you play, the more types of puppies become available at the kennel. You can own up to 5 dogs at a time. I have been playing this for 4 months now--a couple times a week and it is still going strong. It is definitely worth the money. You get a lot of play out of it and I don't get tired of it because it is like having a pet that I check on. I have grown attached to my puppy. She has her own identity and her own moods. She is a pet without the hassle of getting an actual dog. You can play with other DS gamers' dogs wirelessly and trade gifts with each other. Everyone at work loves it and comments on how cute my puppy is. My coworker saw mine and she bought the game too and loves it and then she got her family members into it. They all love it. In fact, I'm going to walk my dog before I go to sleep tonight.
Our 7 yr old son LOVES this game and had an easy time discovering how to maneuver around. It plays great on his Nintendo DS Lite. I like the fact that it's entertaining and educative without the need for violence or obscenities. He's looking forward to purchasing the same game though one that features different dogs.
In Nintendogs 2: Chihuahua&Friends you'll get to train and care for a a puppy, without having to clean up all those soiled newspapers. As you teach your puppy to obey, it'll start competing in dog shows. See if your dog can earn money you can use to buy new breeds!
