(Well....It's Bejeweled!)
『If you like Bejeweled...then you will love this game....it's FUN! This game is the one you reach for when you just need something to keep you busy...then you find yourself playing for hours! Simple to learn, fun to play...every DS owner should have this game. And they probably do!』

(Love, love, love it)
『I purchased this game as it was the closest to the computer game Bejeweled. Since I am addicted to Bejeweled, I have also become addicted to this game. Love the sounds and graphics. Kind of wish they had more levels&variety of scenes, but other than that, it is great.』

(7 wonders of the Ancient World.)
『This is a fun game, but I did find it a little on the easy side to complete.』

(An addictive game)
『I love this type of game because I don't have to do any thinking to complete the game. I can play this game for hours without realizing how long I have been playing it. The only thing I don't like about this game is that when all of my lives ran out I had to restart from the beginning which can be aggravating because I almost completed the challenge. I highly recommend this game for those who just want to do something mind numbing.』

(Fun puzzle game.)
『This is a bit like bejeweled. It is fairly easy but for people who like puzzle games it's worth the buy. Here's a cheat for you. You only have about 7 lives to get through the whole thing so if you see your running out of time and know you're going to loose that puzzle just shut the game off before the timer runs out. The game saves after each puzzle you beat so you just keep redoing the one puzzle you may be stuck on. Good Luck!』

(Pokemon Mysteries have Never Been so Appealing! (by Laura))
『This game, along with its counterpart game, is actually much better than the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games of the past (Blue/Red Rescue Team; which were really good in their own right). I'll grade all of the awesomeness, and what they could work on, with a grading system (A+ being the best, F- being the worst):

Storyline (A-): A VERY engaging storyline! Though it shares many of the same premises as previous games (e.g. you're a human who turned into a Pokemon), you realize how much deeper the storyline goes after you play for a while: "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness" really live up to the "Mystery" reputation this time, as you have a lot more mysteries to solve. In the previous games, the only things you tried to find out are: A. Why did you become a Pokemon, and B. Why are nature and Pokemon going out of whack? The same mysteries stand here, but with a LOT more added: you're partner pokemon (picked by how you respond to the questionaire) has a mysterious treasure, and you try to solve the mystery of that, as well. Other mysteries, including why a Grovyle is stealing time gears, and why certain other characters behave the way they do, are also intertwined; but, those are only the MAIN mysteries! Many other smaller mysteries like: is there really a cave behind the waterfall, or does a mysterious lake really exist, also present themselves! The mysteries are endless! The only real gripe I have with the storyline is the fact that they have so much story that they fail to tie some things up. An example is with Grovyle: what happens to him after all is said and done? What happens to his friends? It fails to wrap that up properly. Another somewhat gripe is that this story is of a slightly darker and more serious nature at some points: nothing to really be worried about, but it does get intense. Also, the ending makes you cry; of course, that's not really any different from the last games.

Gameplay (B+): You have basically the same solid gameplay from the last games, but it seems harder in the dungeons. It's pretty easy to get your butt kicked in about the third dungeon you visit (which is not far off from the game's start!). However, few elements besides difficulty have been added to change up what the gameplay is from the previous games, which makes it seem like "same old, same old," at times. If not for the story, and how it affects the times in between the dungeons, this game would hardly be any different from the previous ones. That's not necessarily a bad thing, though: veterans will know what to expect. Though this RPG seems like it's live action at times, it is indeed turn-based in the dungeons (where you will spend most of your time). You wander around the floors trying to find the quickest way out of the dungeon, usually; though there are missions that other Pokemon will give you to ask to do other things (like take down a criminal). Dungeons are roughly designed like the last game: there are items scattered around, which you will try to collect, and stairs lead to the next floor and eventually out of the dungeon. Nothing wrong with all of that: it's fun, just not fresh. The VERY beginning of the game is also old-hat, as your starter and partner is chosen by how you answer questions to a quiz. Now, where gameplay REALLY shines in difference is with the new addition of Wigglytuff's guild, which is also where the story shines. You basically train in the guild, like a student would train at a school; a Loudred is your alarm clock every morning, for the most of the game, your characters eat dinner before the night is through, and there is a lot of fun interaction. There is also a "sentry duty" mini game, that requires your stylus; other than that mini game, however, control with the stylus is optional (which is a good thing). You can also read a couple of diaries from other guild members, getting their thoughts on the situation, and interact a lot with the townsfolk; the most fun comes out of learning how everything works. You can see where creativity went into it, as they left no questions unanswered this time. You can also hatch Pokemon eggs in the game this time, though the process is kind of boring until you get the new Pokemon. Overall, the gameplay is great; it's just not very new in the dungeons, which isn't too bad, but kind of repetitious.

Music (A): The music in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series are often a lot better than traditional Pokemon Game music. This game is no exception, as there are some FABULOUS musical scores here! Each melody fits the mood of the dungeon, and is immersive, practically inviting the player to exploring the world to the fullest! There are a couple of tunes that are repetitious (Treasure Town's song comes to mind), but most of the music is pretty solid as far as games go. Veterans will even recognize one song as a creative remix and combination of many songs from the last game (which sounds pretty good)!

Graphics (B): When I played this game, I often felt that most of the graphics screamed, "Been there, done that!" It's kind of hard to top variety in area graphics, considering that the first set of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games were all over the place (volcanic areas, snowy mountains, etcetera); but most of the graphics screamed, "rehash" from the last games. There's nothing wrong with the graphics, as they are pretty enough (though boring in longer dungeons, at it usually only differs from dungeon to dungeon), but veteran Pokemon Mystery Dungeon gamers might find most of them uninspired. Even the town looks pretty much the same, save for the addition of a few new shops and stuff (some of which, I never even use). This game's saving grace in graphics are that a few fresh ideas were thrown in (the Crystal Cave level, Nightmare levels, and Grim Future levels), which does add a hint of unpredictability; very fun! However, original level designs were far and few between this time. A shame, really.

Characters (A+): Character design was great! A lot more characters were mixed in here, and with greater importance: just about every character had an interesting role! Wigglytuff makes for a humorous guild master, yet he's smarter than he appears; Chatot, Wigglytuff's assistant, usually stands as your real boss, as he's pretty bossy, but he's also funny at times; Sunflora plays one of those "omigosh" girls, who use valley expressions and stuff; Bidoof is like an easily-excited sympathizer, as he was the newest member before you came along; and there many others! Sometimes, other characters will even tag along with your own in the dungeons: a refreshing experience! All of the characters will capture your interest, and make the gameplay FAR more interesting this time around.

Replayability (D): As far as replay values go, this game doesn't have much to offer; one of its biggest mistakes is having you move out of the guild after you "graduate," which immediately saps away most of the charm of the game. Once you truly complete the story, the most you can do is go after legendary Pokemon; a good challenge, I suppose, but just not as exciting. You can also continue to accept missions from the boards, but what's the point once you reach the highest rank? I think the programmers suspected that replay values wouldn't be too good, which is why they made the length of the game so long. Sadly, the best replay value you will find is restarting the game from scratch; and that's not even as fun, since the story becomes predictable at that point.

Overall (A-): Though this Pokemon game isn't a hundred percent ground-breaking, it's still great as games come. You'll be entertained for hours, solving mysteries and finding treasure; 'cause, let's face it, when is hunting for treasure NOT fun? Very creative, with inspired characters! I recommend this game to Pokemon fans and non-Pokemon fans alike, as this is a fun way to spend a boring afternoon.』

(A great break from the general Pokemon games)
『Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time excels in both fun and challenge. It certainly is much improved from the previous Mystery Dungeon games, Red and Blue. The storyline is beyond impressive, and Treasure Town has been amplified beautifully and gives the player so much to do. It also adds a really addicting and useful minigame where you identify the footprints of Pokemon. (This gives the player "Poke", the game's currency of money. So it's not only fun and gives you a break from dungeons, but it's useful and you can play it anytime.) The previous games in this series lacked that and more, making the game annoying.
There is almost no downside to this game unless you are too used to the usual Pokemon game that revolves around battling. While there is combat in Mystery Dungeon, it is brought down to a different level and is revamped entirely. The game gives you a much needed break from the stresses on constant battling in games such as Pokemon Diamond. A lot of reviews complain about the reading level and quantity. Albeit, the quantity is rough, but you should really be buying less intense games for your kids anyway. I'd recommend this game for kids ages 8 and up.
There is little difference between Time and Darkness except the availability in Pokemon throughout the game. Time has a huge advantage over Darkness because it gives the player access to the Pokemon Lucario, which is extremely popular because it was featured in a Pokemon movie and it is highly loved by the younger audience of Pokemon (especially boys.) Darkness has access to much weaker and less exciting Pokemon, such as Lopunny and Rotom, which is why Time is favored.
The storyline is very involved and really pulls the player in, while still keeping it kid friendly and thought provoking. The game is challenging, and at times can really work your brain muscles, because no two dungeons are ever the same.
The graphics done in classic sprite style are adorable and innovative, giving this game a look of its own that seperates it from other games.

All being said, this game deserves no less than 5 stars.』

(not lovin it.)
『I have a 6 year old who kept asking for Pokemon and I did'nt know which one to pick. Well as odds would have it I picked the wrong one. There was too much story and reading. Although my son can read, this was over the top. Would not recommend it until about age 8 or so.』

(This was a gift)
『This was a gift and don't see them playing it very often so I really don't know about it.』

(looks kiddish, but hard for a kid to understand)
『For this to be a Pokemon game it really incorporates an advanced RPG story. If you're into mystery dungeon type game play this could be one of the best games for you. I won't echo whats already been said in other reviews, but I will talk about something rarely brought up.

What makes this game stand out from any other DS game is its wifi feature. I was defeated in a dungeon and instead of given a game over screen I was presented with the option to be rescued via wifi. I selected that option and someone, somewhere rescued me and I was notfied of the rescue via a text message (which can be an e-mail also).

This feature adds total replay value to the game, being able to rescue not just NCPs, but real players. There's a big joy that comes with knowing you rescued a real gamer.』

(Pokemon Pearl - 5 Stars)
『As a fan of the Pokemon game series, and of the DS Lite, I am glad to say that I gave Pearl five out of five stars. The gmaeplay includes features from older games, but updates on FR/LG like a new look (and much easier controls!) for the battle system, a much better user interface, excellent use of the doublescreen, loads of "applications" include a clock, pokemon mood tracker, step counter, etc., and battle-sprite animations. Not only is the look nicer, but there are plenty of new pokemon- most of which are also in Platinum- and longer gameplay after the Elite Four. The Champion is more challenging, and there are more interesting, long sidequests.

If you have been playing since Gold, get Pearl. If you have never played Pokemon, you should still get Pearl.』

(A kid's review)
『This is a cool game. Training pokemon is my favorite part. I enjoyed the new pokemon like garchomp or arceus, but the rest of the game is boring. I still like pearl version and it would be worth to buy it.』

(Pokemon Pearl)
『I love pokemon. Great game. Alot of fun and very addicting. I just wish they would make a game like this for the bigger systems. One that you can actually go and catch pokemon like on the TV show. Until they get smart enough to do that, I will continue to have fun with what they have out.』

(Cool Game)
『I like this game because of all of the special additions to it. it has time (night+day) certain pokemon appear at certain times and you get to go more places than the previous games.the only bad part is that the Elite Four are almost impossible!』

(A Great Pokemon Game!)
『This game is really fun, even if you know next to nothing about Pokemon! I started the game only knowing about a few Pokemon. Now, I have memorized all 493! In conclusion, this game is one of the best I have ever played!

『Three all-new Pokmon are yours to choose from - Fire-type Chimchar, Water-type Piplup, and Grass-type Turtwig. You won't be able to catch these Pokmon in the wild. To catch every Pokmon, you'll have to trade with other Trainers to get the two Pokmon you didn't select.Once you connect with friends over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, you'll be able to use the Nintendo DS microphone to speak to them directly! You may also use the voice chat during trades and battles if the host of the session enables that option. When Pokmon Gold and Silver introduced a real-time clock, Pokmon fans absolutely loved it. It seemed destined to become a staple of Pokmon games, but when Ruby and Sapphire came around, the feature disappeared. Pokmon Diamond and Pokmon Pearl reintroduce this system in a major way. There are still some Pokmon that look the same in both genders, some that can only be male or female, and some (particularly the Legendaries) that don't have a gender at all.』
Pokemon Pearlis a traditional Pokemon RPG that takes place in a region called Sinnoh.

In the Sinnoh region, there are two Pokemon that symbolize the region. They appear in the Sinnoh reigon's myths and old folklore. One is called Dialga, and is said to have the power to control time. The other is called Palkia, who is said to have the ability to distort space. The sinister organization called Team Galaxy is trying to rule the region by utilizing these two Pokemon's power. During your adventure to complete your Pokedex and become the Champion, these two Pokemon, and Team Galaxy, will intertwine into the story and lead you on a fantastic journey across the Sinnoh region.

When you set off on your travels, you'll be able to play as either a boy or girl Trainer. You will also utilize the DS's dual slots to transfer Pokemon from the GBA Pokemon games and be able to link up withPokemon Rangerto access more special content. Pokemon fans have caught glimpses of Mime Jr., Lucario, Munchlax and Weavile in Pokemon movies, and these Pokemon will be debuting in this adventure.』

『I bought this game for my 8 year old daughter at her request. She loves the gameshow on TV and has been asking for this game for a few months. She was so excited to get it!

She played it three times and discovered that the $1,000,000 is always hidden behind Case #24 and hasn't played it since....who would? What is the fun in that?

I had read reviews on this game before I got it for her and although other reviews reflected this same problem, it appeared that they had older versions and that the bug was fixed. How can something like this still be on the market?

With over 850 other games available for the DS, buy any one of those but certainly not this one.』

(TV game comes home!)
『Just as the TV versions for day and night time, this game keeps you on edge until you decide 'deal or no deal!'』

(Boring game)
『The game is kind of boring, too much talking in between rounds. Graphics are horrible. Even my daughter, who is freak about the show, only playeded the game once since we got it.』
『The hit TV show is coming to your favorite video game system! Open each case one by one, and try to find the briefcase with the biggest amount of money. Deal or No Deal?』

(Beautiful, Lighthearted, Fresh RPG for Newbies&Veterans)
『The Wizard of Oz is a beautiful, lighthearted, and fresh RPG for the DS--and it's a game that I believe both RPG newbies and veterans can enjoy. The game starts much like the original book/movie. Dorothy and Toto have been sucked up into a tornado and dumped in a new land. They travel the Yellow Brick Road, picking up the Strawman, the Cowardly Lion, and the Tin Man along the way, as they travel toward Oz. Once they get to Oz, the premise diverges from the original tale, as Dorothy and the gang are entreated to travel the land and gather all of the magical eggs in various witches' kingdoms, so that Oz can be the ruler of the kingdom. And so a series of quests begins and the real story of this game begins to unfold...

The gameplay in Oz is quite straightforward overall. You use a trackball system on the touchscreen to control Dorothy as she makes her way down various paths. You can control her speed and direction, just in case you want to avoid a particular enemy at a particular time, and being able to affect her speed is important for making necessary backtracking quick and painless. As Dorothy and the gang travel down these paths, they'll encounter many enemies, which you will need to battle to proceed and to level up your team. You use the touch screen to interact with objects, select battle commands, and even teach Toto a few new tricks. The entire game is touchscreen controlled, which makes for a smooth and seamless experience. It feels very natural, once you get used to it.

The battle system is simple but works well. Certain characters have certain affinities, so they do better battling certain types of enemies. For instance, Dorothy is best against ghosts, Strawman is best against aquatic enemies, the Lion is best against shell-based enemies, and the Tin Man is best against plant-based enemies. The game also uses a ratio system, so that the more powerful a character, the fewer times they can be used in battle per turn. It makes a lot of sense and makes battles more interesting--which is good, since you'll have many, many short battles and some lengthier boss battles throughout this game.

The most complex part of the game is navigational, as there are many paths to take (and you'll want to keep track of which paths you've taken and what's there). The game provides signposts, which you can mark with your own system of symbols using icons that are provided (whatever makes sense to you), so that you can keep track of such things, but I wound up making a few maps/notes on my own as well. You'll often encounter gates or obstructions that can only be cleared through the use of various switches, and most of these switches can be triggered only with the appropriate elemental (little spirits of fire, earth, water, and wind that you'll pick up along the way). You'll sometimes have to do some backtracking to open gates after you've gotten the appropriate elemental. But again, because you can move quickly, as long as you keep track of where you're going, backtracking is relatively painless--and often quite fun, actually.

Finally, as I mentioned in the first paragraph, this game is beautiful. The environments are vibrant and lush, and all of the characters and enemies are colorful as well. This is probably the most graphically gorgeous DS game I've ever played. The soundtrack is very fitting as well, and it's not annoying, which is important since you'll be hearing a lot of it. I easily sank 20-25 hours into it before beating the game, and this one's a keeper as I expect to come back to it and tie up a few loose ends.

Overall, this is a fun RPG that is accessible to beginners but also interesting enough for experienced gamers.

(An interesting take on The Wizard of Oz)
『I bought this game on a whim and I must say I'm not disappointed with my choice. The game is surprisingly entertaining and overall charming.

The graphics are on the high standards for the DS. The charcters are colorful and wacky as you'd expect from a fantasy story. The battle system is done in first person and you can switch out party members as you please though it's a bit more complicated as a member of your party takes up a certain amount of battle slots and you have 4 battle slots in total. ie: Dorothy and Scarecrow: 1; Lion: 2 and Tinman: 3. So you can have lets say Dorothy attack twice and Lion attack once.

As for the story. There are a few complaints that this game is nothing like Wizard of Oz and that it is crappy because of that. I'll say this: yes it isn't like the original story in any sense. You aren't going to get a carbon copy of the book or film. It is BASED on The Wizard of Oz. I use the term 'based' loosely. The beginning is close to the story as you play Dorothy following the yellow brick road towards the Castle of OZ, meeting up with Scarecrow, Lion and Tinman on the way (you have to battle and win against them before they join your party). Once you get to the castle is where the story sort of deviates quite a bit. There are four witches that you must defeat in order to help the Wiz and in return he will grant your wishes and thus you are sent out in OZ to defeat the four witches (The mother South and her three daughters: North, East and West. All follows a specific season theme too which I though was cute.)

Overall it is a fun game to play if you are looking for something simple and easy. I recommend it for the younger players.』

(Technically best DS graphics overall.)
『Very beautiful game for DS, and pretty fun too. I very much enjoy this game, there is a lot of emphasis put on the graphics and animation!

The battle system is decent...although not great, you can only see your enemies during battle.

But the story is pretty light hearted and fun overall. :D

Fun game.』

『Dorothy, together with her dog, Toto, has been swept away from her home in Kansas by a tornado, only to realize that she has touched ground in an unfamiliar new land. A voice calls out to her to follow the Yellow Brick Road if she wishes to return home, but that path is an arduous one with multiple obstacles and foes. Three of the foes bested by Dorothy on this path; Scarecrow, Lion, and Tin Man, offer to join Dorothy on her journey. As the four new friends complete the journey to the end of the Yellow Brick Road, they encounter the larger than life Wizard of Oz within his magical castle. Despite his almost limitless power, there are four witches running amuck within his land that he just can’t control. Dorothy and her friends are tasked with defeating the witches with a return trip to Kansas as the reward, but is this new mission beyond the Yellow Brick Road everything it appears to be? (Great Armor)
『Got one of these for my sons DS and it is great. It looks cool, he keeps it on and it doesn't hamper his playing at all and it seems to protect the DS very well - 5 stars.』

(Excellent case for child)
『My son has probably dropped his DS Lite over 100 times. This case has protected it completely. I can't recommend it highly enough. My daughter who is more responsible dropped her DS Lite one time without a nerf case. She ended up having to get a new DS! You'd better believe that she now has a nerf armor case also. As others have noted, you will have chunks start coming off with lots of use by children. I had to replace the first one after 9 months. I love this product.』

(Offers great protection for the DS)
『I bought the Nerf Armor for my 7-yr old's DS after I saw how much it was being dropped and nicked. The armor offers great protection from dropping and scratches. It is rather bulky, but payoff is worth it.』

(Nerf Armor)
『We own both the DS and PSP Nerf Armor. It was well worth our investment! Our son dropped his PSP out a 2nd story hotel window and landed on the parking lot. To our surprise, the PSP was very much intact and the Armor had only a small piece torn off. What a product!』

(Could be better, but kids love it)
『My 9-year-old begged for this "armor" instead of a case. He likes the look of it, and it does offer a great deal of soft cushiony protection around the top, bottom and front of his game. My preference would be for a better design in the back along the hinges, because there are only two pieces of foam about the size of a dime along the back, and they tear off very easily. I also can't fathom why they didn't design it in such a way that there is a small pocket or slot of some sort along the top or side edge for an extra stylus and/or game. That would make it much more usable and versatile. For what it is, though, it's a good product. :)』
『The official NERF DS Lite Armor protects your valuable Nintendo DS Lite system from bumps and bruises. Authentic, soft, NERF material on the Armor gives you additional grip and comfort while playing.』

(Entertaining minus the Quidditch)
『The Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince game was fun to play on the DS, except when you got to quidditch. It was really difficult to play on the small screens and you couldn't not play. Once you get passed the few places you were required to win the quidditch match, running around the castle trying to complete your tasks and playing the mini games was a lot of fun. The only downside was that it was over so quickly.』

(9 year old Grandson loved it!)
『As this review is really from a 9 year old grandson who would love to board the train to Hogwart's to become a wizard and best buds with Harry Potter it got "2 Thumbs Up" for action, fun and ability to play without holding a PHD in IT. If you have young, imaginative someone who would love to say "send me an owl" and reluctantly continues to live among us mere "muggles" this would make an excellent present.』

(You have to be smarter than the game, lol)
『This looks like it will be fun, but right now I am having trouble playing it, and I feel it is my fault for not really understanding the Nintendo DS (it is new) So if your good at reading directions and understanding them or if you have children in your home (they can probably take one look and know what to do) it is another Wonderful Harry Potter product.』
