(SUSAN'S THE BEST AND YOU CAN'T DENY IT!)
(The best game for handheld systems)
(Good Game)
(Narnia for DS) I didn't really like this game because it had bad graphics and it didn't really relate to the story. If you really want to buy thisfor someone make sure they are old enough to know what to do because I'm 11 and I'm really good at video games and I thought it was pretty hard. This game is wonderful. Plenty of rewarding side quests. Say you are assigned the task of rescuing a unicorn from a dungeon, and you're soooo not strong enough. Well, that's fine, cause you can just mosey over to the eagle and he'll tell ya to climb to her nest. That way you can get more ice shards (money) and be able to buy more. The only thing annoying about this game is two of the side quests. First, the nest climb. For ever I couldn't find the vines to climb up on. They are by the beaver's house where Mrs. Beaver is standing outside. Second, the pheonix's second quest. The pheonix is at the top of the mountain, near the Stone Table. He tells you to kill six giants, thankfully individually. The giants are on the path leading back to the rest of the world. If you're not strong enough to take on the giants, tough. You can't get past them unless you run like crap and die with two ogres, five wolves, six giants, four boggles, and a hag following you. I did make it out once first, though. if you're fighting a giant and you're Susan, which is best. You must shoot from far away. If all three of you faint with no health left, you all die, which happens alot. I usually have to wait for Peter and Lucy to get off their fat butts to help me. I'm the last line of defense if they faint. And an animal companion won't even continue to fight if you all die. Say if I want to be the strongest one, Peter to fight the giants. Susan, the last line of defense will automaticially stand right next to the giant, and I usually have to run screaming. Anyway, don't worry about the Witch battle at the end. She's the easiest on the battlefield. I recommend getting the best weapons for it, though, since two cyclops and an ogre at once is not unheard of. The best weapons for them are: The Hallowed Bow for Susan, 14 damage, The Curative Dagger for Lucy, 15 damage, The Carpenter's Blade for Edmund, 24 damage, and The Narnian Mastersword for Peter, 22 damage.
This game is the best, you can save up your ice shards and buy better swords for Peter, bows for Susan, greatswords for Edmund, and daggers for Lucy. You can engage dwarfs ,wolves, rats, ankleslicers, boggles, goblins, hags, wraiths, werewolves, ogres, cyclopses, minotaurs, minoboars, giants, and finally the White Witch in grueling combat. Your siblings aid you as well. I beat it, but I'm going to erase my file and play again, it's so fun. The con is that your sibs share your health meter. This is a great game to add to your growing collection of DS games. I Think That This is a good Game. You can buy new bows and sowrds and better armor. But it takes a long time to get around A very fun game. The funnest game ever created? No. But still very fun. You get to fight, explore (which can sometimes be annoying when you're looking for the same place for hours)and be the four Pevensies in a switching mode ( which is very similar to Harry potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban for those of you who play Gamecube). Something that is pretty coolin this game are all of the side quests and missions, which normally I hate in most games, but I liked in this one. So Borrow, Rent or Buy this game, because I think that for this game they are all good descisions. And if anyone knows how to get to the Final Battle please tell me. Peace. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe definitive action adventure, based on the renowned and beloved book series and Disney film. You'll enter the world of Narnia, a magical land frozen in eternal winter by the evil powers of the White Witch. Four young siblings from our world -- Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie -- travel through an enchanted wardrobe into Narnia, where they'll use their unique abilities to defeat the Witch and her armies and save Narnia. customer 's review (Best game EVER!)
(tactical crack)
((Almost) Perfect!)
(HaHaHa;Victory strikes again!)
(One the best strategy games for Gameboy) Okay, maybe not. But pretty freaking close. It's definitely the best DS game out there.
Dual Strike improves every aspect of the previous versions ten fold. It's the perfect sequel game: Take Advance Wars 2 and add a bunch more COs, units, maps, better graphics, etc., and you have this game.
Pros: + Many more COs than the previous version + More units + New Tag power + Ability to use 2 COs at the same time + Keeping of old COs and units + Better graphics + Nice campaign/plot + Endless replay value (if you have friends, that is)
Cons: - Well, the only thing that ISN'T good about this game is if you're an idiot and can't figure out how to use strategies. I'll admit, if you're new to Advance Wars, it WILL take a little while to figure everything out, but that's to be expected. As long as your smarter than a rock, figuring out a good strategy isn't hard.
I'd recommend this game to anyone. That is, unless you suck at strategy; in which case, you might want to think twice about it. Even if you suck at strategy, this game shouldn't take too long to get used to. Just don't get it if you HATE strategy.
Once I got into Dual Strike, I realized that it was the only DS game I'd ever need; until, of course, Advance Wars: Days of Ruin came out (which I have also reviewed). =)
I first discovered the advance wars series on the gba....and have been playing each game in the series ever since. All the old favorites have returned, including Andy and Sami, and also some new faces. added highlights include dual screen battles (sometimes you don't actually control the top screen's troops) and more CO's, double CO powers, and more maps and vehicles types.
Even with all these added improvements....the gameplay itself is very balanced. There are times though, where the enemy will use a double CO power to totally turn the tide against you, but you are also free to do the same.
After beating the campaign mode, you can play battle mode, make your own maps, unlock Hard Campaign, and trade maps with other players. the DS version also includes the ability to play multiplayer with one DS and one cartridge, just as the gba versions allowed.
This is one of my favorite games, and has sucked more free time from my bones than any other game in recent memory.
A beautiful strategy game for DS players who like to think! One of the best games to come out for the system. I only wish it used WI-Fi... Finally... For the ds.... One of the best new series nintendo has... ADVANCE WARS DUAL STRIKE!!! NEW CO's! Better Graphics, more units, new campaign, new modes, better music....hey new everything.I am an advance wars fan since i heard it came out in 2001;and now it gets even better.Personally i have let my family and friends borrow my advance wars(Advance wars,Advance wars 2 and Advance Wars Dual Strike) and they all tell me the same thing "This game is Great!",hell;some even say if they can borrow it longer. So i hope that u(the reader is helped by my review if u will buy this great game) will hear my review and put it to good use by buying this game.U WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!And plus there are other great people here that have rated this game 5-stars.I know this game is good;imagine when Advance Wars:Days of Ruin comes out on January 21 2008.I already pre-ordered it soooo,if u need help on your decision or wanna know anything about Advance Wars;DO NOT HESITATE TO REPLY TO THIS REVIEW IF U NEED HELP. Advance Wars - Dual Strike is the 3rd Advance Wars title available and the first on the Nintendo DS platform. Advance Wars is a turn-based strategy war game. Each player takes turns moving and attacking with their game pieces, which could be soldiers, anti-air, tanks, planes, and ships. Advance Wars is very fun in a sense that it plays similar to a game of chess. You must strategize what your oppenent might do next. The campaign mode is very long and very challenging. One thing I didn't like about the game is how fast it ramps up the difficulty. The beginning levels are very easy but it quickly becomes very hard and you'll find yourself wanting to quit playing on many tough fights. I also really enjoyed the multiplayer aspect - if you know someone with a DS you can play against them with just 1 cart. This added alot of replay value for me. Overall I found Advance Wars - Dual Strike to be a very fun turn based strategy game and if you enjoy them you should pick it up. Advance Wars: Dual Strike is the latest in the hit tactical series. Enjoy an incredible new battle system that takes full advantage of the Nintendo DS system's two screens. New missions will have you commanding air forces on the top screen and ground forces below on the touch screen. Besides leading your army to victory with a slew of original COs, you can also clash with your friends over wireless connections. Easy-to-use map editor Rerations < Advance Wars: Dual Strike >

(More fun than I expected)
(Awwwwwwwww...) This is the best game ever! I play it all the time. I have three cats, Belle, Blackie and Lola. This game rocks. If your a cat lover, take my advice and get the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Purr Pals is the perfect game for the people who aren't fond of the Nintendo dogs DS game. The cats are very realistic, but it is almost impossible to earn money. Also, the cats have endless needs and it takes forever to keep them well fed and happy. Overall, it becomes very repetitive, the cats are the only bonus to the game. i got this game for my birthday, i had to buy 2 of them because i think it's defected, my other one i got was still defected but i kept it because i thought i couldnt keep taking them back to the store PLEASE I RECOMMMEND DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you're just wasting your money. I bought this game for my 4 year old. She really enjoys it and is able to operate all but the "games" section. Those are a bit more challenging, but could probably be handled by a 7-8 year old. The games area is where you are able to make money so you can be accessories for your kitty. For my daugher, she enjoys cleaning the litter box, feeding it, brushing the kitty, petting it, playing games with it and finding accessories in the shopping area. All in all it was a good purchase and makes excellent use of the touch pad and the mircrophone (you blow into it to make a butterfly fly for the kitten to chase.) I love Purr Pals. You get to choose from many cute kitties, and you get to feed, groom, pet, and play with your kitten. I named my kitten Sirius. You can also play in four fun minigames with your cat. This game is great! I<3 Sirius! This is a big 5 star! Purr Pals lets you bring the fun and sweetness of cute little kitten with you everywhere! Use the game controls and DS touchscreen to raise, train and care for your kitten. Modify your kittens' behavior and teach them voice commands -- then win a set of mini-games with them. You'll have a purr-fect time! Purr Pals, a full-featured pet simulator for Nintendo DS that lets players adopt, care for, and raise adorable kitten playmates. Choose your favorite breed of kitten, give it a name, feed it and play with it, all through the easy-to-use Nintendo DS interface. (Not bad, but not much to hold your interest) Do you have young children who love superheroes?
The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man and The Dark Knight (Batman) are all PG-13 rated movies. Of course, all of the merchandising (lunch boxes, PJs and toys) is aimed at young children. So, what's your options?
This Nintendo DS game is a perfect way to satisfy your child's hunger to be the Hulk without all of the inappropriate 'stuff' you'd find in a PG-13 movie.
The game stages are easy to explore and there are plenty of secret items to uncover, which makes additional trips through the game fun. The audio is great and varied enough not to annoying. This is a perfect adventure for a young child.
My only complaint is that the two-player mode (again!) requires two cartridges. At $30 each, I don't imagine too many parents are going to buy two Nintendo DS games just for two-player mode. So far, we've only found "Spider-Man: Friend or Foe" to be worthy of a second purchase for two-player mode. The movie tie-in to the Incredible Hulk arrives on the DS with some decent results, and while it ends up being the best version of the Incredible Hulk game from Sega, that isn't really saying all that much. Playing as Marvel's jade giant, you traverse 30 levels in this 2-D platformer, while smashing what you can get your hands on in sight and taking down baddies. The gameplay itself is pretty self-explanatory, and the game is also even pretty fun for a while as well. The game doesn't last too long though, but while it does, is a decently fun diversion. The graphics don't look too bad, and the game is easy to get the hang of too. However, the boss battles are lame, and overall the game is pretty easy to breeze through as well. There is a bit of replay value to be had though, as you can unlock extra skins, and there's a two-player mode to see who can cause the most damage as well. All in all, the DS version of The Incredible Hulk isn't bad and can hold your interest while it lasts, and is worth a rental at least for DS owning Hulk fans. Immerse yourself once again in the world of The Incredible Hulk, one of Marvel's most powerful Super Heroes. This fury-fueled video game features intensely realistic third person action. It includes key moments from the film as well as additional plotlines and characters from The Incredible Hulk universe. You crash through New York City battling gigantic enemies amidst soaring skyscrapers in a massive open world. Unleashing the Hulk's anger generates Rage points that increase his incredible power. Everything in the environment can be used as a weapon.

(THE FIRST WWE DS GAME)
(I've played better wrestling games)
(Decent but stylus ruins the game) My son is into playing wrestling games and stuff like this game so he was glad when he recieved it today. He has had a good time with it. THIS IS THE FIRST GAME FOR WWE ON THE DS . IT IS ALSOTHE FIRST WWE GAME TO USE THE TOUCH SCREEN.. WHO EVER THOUGHT OF THIS IDEA IS A GENIUS It's not like the Smackdown games of old on your PS2 because you don't use buttons at all except for start when you want to either start the game or pause it.
PROS: - Upgrade your wrestler's skills and moves in career mode using the mini-games like jumping rope, kicking/punching the body bag, or weight lifting, all of which are done with the stylus. You can also upgrade by completing various tasks in the matches during season mode like "Irish whip," "perform a submission hold," or "Perform a finisher." These are harder than they sound. - You don't have to memorize any moves because the moves pop up on the screen for you. - Graphics are good - Music is right on point and Tony Chimel does the ring announcing (I'd rather have Lilian, but he's still good).
CONS: - Not a huge variety of wrestlers. They'll put in Mr. Kennedy, but no Matt Hardy? Only 2 ECW stars? - With the stylus pausing and giving you options of which move to execute, the matches aren't very fluid. That's probably it's biggest flaw. It boggles me that Nintendo creates a portable gaming system with 6 buttons and produces games that makes them useless. Zelda's Phantom Hourglass is another one, but it's pretty entertaining - if you're a Zelda fan. - No tag team matches - No ladder matches. - No table matches. - No cage or cell matches. - No create-a-wrestler. - I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure there's no blood. - They should've renamed "3 Stages of H***," "Best 2-0ut-of-3 falls" because that's exactly what it is. - Your opponents can and will pin you without using their finisher. I personally think it should be a requirement. I've had the game for 24 hours and still haven't gotten the icon for a finisher. You only have to have orange body damage for them to effectively pin you, unless you're good a tapping the stylus super fast to counter the gauge.
If I knew yesterday what I know now, I probably would've bought something else. This game has good graphics, a good story mode, but the wrestling sucks. I picked a wrestler and I cant tell if who im suppose to be. You cannot really wreslte a full match without being asked which move to pick. It gets annoying after awhile and really brings the game down. Also, all the moves seem to be the same for all the wrestlers. ECW only has two wrestlers (go figure) and I really wanted more ECW stars. I got a dvd for the game and it showed Sandman getting his butt handed to him in the promos and its funny because now he is released. I know the date of the game was pushed back, probably to delete departed stars. If thats the case they could have renamed Johnny Nitro- John Morrison. Decent game but really frustrating. From the most successful wrestling game series of all time comes the next phenom in sports entertainment, WWE Smackdown! vs. Raw. Two worlds will collide as the most elite Superstars square off on the Nintendo DS. WWE programming comes to life with authentic Superstar Voice Over and commentary throughout the season mode An abundance of new gameplay mechanics give full control over all aspects of the game including new chop battles, submission reversals, match tactics and upgraded Royal Rumble controls. The Divas are hotter than ever with an enhanced Bra and Panties Match, and to polish off the robust roster, from the halls of immortality, come a handful of the most celebrated legens ever to lace up their boots. The influential Smackdown! Series has evolved into one single definitive experience that is WWE Smackdown! vs. Raw. Smackdown! vs. Raw will have all new gameplay mechanics including a chop battle, pre-match stare down, new grappling position, test of strength and submission reversal system. Make HBK tap out in the Sharp shoot, vanquish HHH in a cage match, defeat six legends with the legend-killer Randy Orton - these are just a few of the 60 challenges that await!
