customer 's review (Had to recharge my DS twice in one weekend....)
(Very addictive.) A.D.D.I.C.T.I.V.E. PERIOD. Those little sparkling gems entrance you. There are three different games, and I think, intertwining story lines. But the story line really doesn't matter. (its kind of lame anyway and the main character annoys me because the only thing he does is whine. Who doesn't get enough of that at work?)
So ignore the whining guy the weak story and the game is fun. The only other downside is the tiny designs on the majong tiles. They are a bit tricky until your eyes get use to it and figure out the different tiles.
I've paid more for less, this rating is based on the price I paid and the overall experience. The game is very good and addictive. With all three games you can go from game to game. I've had this game for a day still like it. The variety is good. If you like puzzle games, this is for you. The solitaire is similiar to tri-peaks solitaire. This is good for all those addicted to mahjong. I like being able to use the touch screen for games like this. It makes it a little easier than with a mouse like the online games. You can make quicker matches. Set out on three times the fun with The Quest Trio. It features the exciting gameplay of Jewel Quest Expeditions, MahJong Quest and Jewel Quest Solitaire. You'll match jewels, move tiles and play cards in exciting and fun-filled settings. Jewel Quest Expeditions challenges you to match jewels of red, green, purple, orange or zebra through 180 unique jewel boards. MahJong Quest takes you through an amazing story of balance and trust involving 32 classic MahJong layouts and 32 additional puzzle layouts. Jewel Quest Solitaire gives you the chance to play Tri-peaks solitaire in a fresh way utilizing jewel-themed card decks.

(Lots of talking)
(More Summon Night fun!)
(Nothing special, but not a bad RPG either) I just can't deny Summon Night: Twin Age's charm. The game is easy to grasp and, although, it might not be the most innovative storyline, there's no denying it's fun filled.
Summon Night: Twin Age features two main characters Reiha and Aldo, who you choose to play is entirely up to you. Reiha is a summoner and Aldo is a summon beast. The two came into each other's lives years ago after an unfortunate accident happened during a summoning experiment. Reiha managed to survive, as did Aldo, who was pulled into her world. Reiha and Aldo are all each other have and very much have a brother/sister relationship. When the game begins the spirits are going out of control and from that point on you are on a quest to stop the madness.
Summon Night: Twin Age does a good job at incorporating the stylus into gameplay. It's an action based RPG, and you use the stylus to move, use magic, and attack enemies. The battle field can seem a little overwhelming at times, as there is a lot going on at once, but the game does a good job at keeping you on your toes. The mechanics are relatively simple and easy to pick up as well. Your supporting characters also have the ability to come back to life after a certain period of time elapses in battle. This is nice as there is no need to perform revival spells, but it's still not easy to completely survive without them. The only other difficult part is that your AI characters aren't exactly the sharpest. They will attack when they have a sliver of life left and most of the time you have to baby sit them. You can't entirely depend on them, which is another hardship to overcome. However, I feel Summon Night: Twin Age offers just the right amount of challenge without becoming too frustrating.
I'll give this game credit as you could definitely replay it. After each chapter you are able to speak with different characters and discover their perspective on the situation at hand. These conversations also will determine the ending. There are also multiple endings to discover depending on who you get to know.
Now there is a lot of good and enjoyment to be had with Summon Night Twin Age, however, the game does have some areas it could have improved on. The biggest downfalls are the lack of an entirely engaging story and it can be repetitive and particularly linear. There are little side quests to do, but they seemed tacked on rather than adding anything significant to the story. But, I'd like to note that for all these shortcomings, the characters more than make up for it. They will instantly charm you and provide the motivation needed to complete this game to the end.
This game has a lot of talking. To me this game is more complicated than the normal rpg game. I don't think it was worth the money I paid for it. I loved this game. It may not reach the heights of Summon Night Swordcraft Story 2 on GBA, but it is still really fun. The stylus control works amazingly well. The story is delightful. The weapons crafting and skill trees add depth. Combat has been changed to overhead Diablo-style battles, a lot like Children of Mana.
The only thing I found a bit annoying was the fact that many of the dungeons and dead ends. Going through them for added leveling means backtracking all the way back to the beginning through empty corridors.
All in all, it is a very fun game that you won't regret playing. Coming over from the GBA, Atlus' Summon Night series comes to the DS with Summon Night: Twin Age. At it's core, Summon Night: Twin Age is a tried and true RPG/dungeon crawler that will feel instantly familiar to those who have played their share of old school RPG's, even so to those who haven't played the past Summon Night games for the GBA. Nearly everything about the game. from the storyline, characters, and environments are far from being anything new, but what helps make the game work is it's charming look and art style, along with the use of skill trees which add a bit of depth to the overall gameplay. Where Summon Night: Twin Age fails however is that the graphics haven't changed much (if at all) in the transition from GBA to DS. Despite the charming look, the game just looks dated. Not to mention that the constant exploration and backtracking can get really, really annoying. Still, the game ends up being fun for a while, even though it isn't all that hard to get through. All in all, Summon Night: Twin Age isn't a bad RPG at all, and while you'll certainly play better ones on the DS, it is still worth a look for fans of the series or RPG fans in general. Call forth the powers of the Spirits in Summon Night Twin Age for Nintendo DS. This is called Summoning and it also brings creatures from other worlds into this one. The stylus is your key to the world of Clardona, whether as your swinging sword or your shimmering wall of fire. From a very young age, the human girl Reiha displayed great aptitude for the magical art of Summoning. While still a child, her powers caused a terrible accident during a major Summoning experiment. It was reported that Reiha had died as a result, but she survived along with a young Summon Beast named Aldo that had been pulled into her world. One day, the Spirits began to go wild for no apparent reason, causing the seas to become unpredictable, the plants to wither, and the animals to become violent, threatening the Kascuza on the island. The two decided to return to the human lands to try to find the cause of the Spirits' behavior, and to bring peace back to their once-happy lives.

(Two boys' review: Teamwork makes this a classic for young Spider-Man fans)
(GEORGE AND THE DRAGON)
(Good game)
(Disappointing) Fun game. My 7 year old daughter loves it. I purchased the xbox 360 controller to use on my PC so we can play it together. Wireless DS multi-card play is what makes this game a huge hit in our family. Our two sons -- ages 5 and 4 -- are entertained by the teamwork option, playing as two superheroes or one as Spider-Man and the other as a villian -- the Green Goblin or Sandman or, their favorite villian, Venom.
No doubt older kids will tire of the repetition, but I don't expect most teenagers will buy a superhero title, choosing instead an RPG or simulation.
For little superheroes, this is a great little adventure and worth purchasing the extra copy so they can play together. This was a delightfull childrens Movie with likable cast such as Piper Perabo as the rebellious Princess looking out for the dragon and George Purefuoy as the reluctant hero. The special effects were cheesy but Patric Swayze made a good villian. Not too bad. the caracters have great abilities. kind of short. nice villans. could use more detailing in the backrounds. its cool that you can play as the villans, not just the good guys. it could have been better in a few areas, like more interactivity with stuff in the levels. i say buy it!! Spider-Man has had a pretty good track record when it comes to the DS, which is part of what makes Spider-Man: Friend or Foe so disappointing. The game's premise is quite interesting though: to stop a massive, mystery threat, Spidey must team up with a laundry list of his rogues gallery (Green Goblin and Doc Ock among others) and take down hordes of other baddies. While Friend or Foe starts out fun, the repetitive beat downs quickly degenerate into sheer boredom. The game looks decent enough, and the characters are well animated, and the moments of voice work are a nice touch too, but there's simply not enough here to warrant more than a rental at best, and that may be too generous. There's some fun moments here and there, but in the end, Spider-Man: Friend or Foe ends up being another quickly assembled, rushed out, licensed game that could have been better than it is. Inspired by the Spider-Man film trilogy and the classic Spider-Man comics, Spider-Man: Friend or Foe challenges players to defeat and then join forces with notorious movie nemeses including Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Venom and Sandman, and embark on an epic quest to overcome a worldwide evil threat. Throughout the game's original story and thrilling battles, fans control Spider-Man and one of numerous Super Hero or Super Villain sidekicks and master unique fighting moves and styles while switching between characters to execute team combos and defeat foes. For the first time ever in a Spider-Man game, Spider-Man: Friend or Foe features a unique co-op mode in which a friend can join the game at any time and take control of Spider-Man's sidekick as they battle through the game side-by-side and replay favorite levels. Uncover a variety of hidden items scattered throughout the game which unlock collectables, powers and mini-games. ESRB Rated E10 for players aged 10 and up Rerations < Spiderman: Friend or Foe >

(lovely pony game)
(Great fun for my daughters) I got this game for my 6 year-old daughter and she just loves it! There's not a whole lot of reading, so she can do most of it by herself. She loves the make-up and tattoo games the most. this game is pretty much only mini games.plus dha mini games sumtimes repeat and it's not challenging and very boring after a while.but it's kinda a good game if your lik,10 years old.but not for sumone lik me. This game is a snorefest. I got this for a 7 year old girl who likes Bratz and ponies. I played it for a little bit and the little games/missions are so infantile and uninteresting. It makes use of the stylus, e.g. using a needle to string up beads, using the stylus to clean up the horses. It lacks adventure and a general sense of purpose. The music makes me want to go to sleep too. I should've just gotten any of the mario games or even pokemon. My daughter received this for her 7th b-day very cute music is lovely use of stylist is nice. Very much a girl game bratz ponyz fans a must. This is a really great game. My two daughters (7 and 5 years old) love it. In particular they like the games' mini-games such as coloring, tattooing or making necklaces. This is a game appropriate for all ages and obviously more aimed towards girls than boys. Bratz Ponyz DS Rerations < Bratz Ponyz >

customer 's review (Did not disappoint!!)
(Love the series!)
(Justice for All Verdict: Absolutely Wonderful!)
(A good game, but...)
(Not as good as the original, but still fun) Oh, I don't even know where to start! This game was marvelous, or, as Max Galactica would put it, FABULOUS!! ;) Well first of all let me tell you why I even got this game. I received the first Phoenix Wirght game for my birthday from a friend who said he had enjoyed it very much. I was skeptical, as I had never played a game about law of all things, but I decided to give it a try anyway. And of course, I ended up falling in love with it, and as soon as I found out there was going to be a sequel, I knew I had to buy it! So this game once again follows the story of Phoenix, Maya, and all of your other favorite characters, including some new ones, namely Franziska the female prosecutor, who is your main rival for a good deal of the game, and Pearl, Maya's cute little cousin. There is so much intrigue and suspense in every case, and the thing that pleased me the most was the TWISTS!!! Yes, twists, the most thrilling part of it all! Of course, you'll have to play this to see what I mean, and man is it worth it! And while there are only 4 cases to solve rather than 5, each one is still satisfyingly long, and the awesomeness of the game overall makes up for it anyway! Now you're getting this from a not-so-huge gamer who has greatly enjoyed games such as Kingdom Hearts, Harvest Moon, and Final Fantasy, and this series is definitely one of my favorites! If you liked the first Phoenix Wright, you will LOVE this one! Heh, in my opinion, this one's even a little bit better than the one before it! Great game, the last case was kind of hard at least for me so I had to cheat a couple of times, the psyche lock does not bother me so much but sometimes you really have to search deep to unlock them. Great game, really recoment it for people that like to solve mysteries. I purchased this game out of curiousity; a friend of mine had previously bought one of the Ace Attorney games (and refused to let me play his), so I was very much hoping the game would be worth the money spent.
It very much is! With several different cases to think through (none of them short in the least), lovable and unforgettable characters, and occasionally the giggle-inducing comment from one forgetful judge, "Justice for All" kept me playing for hours, and even days, on end. Before you play this game, I highly recommend attempting to find a copy of the first game. This game DOES explain how the game's court system works, and you get an idea of what happened in the first game, but it's best to play the first game in order to fully appreciate it. As for the game itself, there are 4 cases instead of 5 in this game- which left me feeling a bit ripped off, as one of the 4 cases is incredibly short, and one does nothing for the story. However, the second case alone makes this game worthwhile(for this price, anyway.) Even with the lack of a case, and two.. not so good cases, this game is worthwhile to play. It is still fun, and, of course, the cases always leave you guessing until the end. I recommend it, but play the first one first. I bought this game after playing, and loving the first phoenix wright game, and I'm a little dissapointed. Where the first game was clever and required some thinking, this game is mostly just frusterating. I often find myself having no idea what to do, and just randomly presenting evidence until I find the right item. When I do find the right piece of evidence, it sometimes doesn't make any sense, and there's no way to have known the right thing to do without guessing. That issue aside, it's still a pretty fun game. The new psyche-lock feature adds a new challenge and is very entertaining. The stories are just as ridiculous as before, and I've had a good time playing it. I wouldn't reccomend this game for someone who hasn't played the original phoenix wright, but if you love the series then you'll have a good time. Phoenix Wright: Justice For All is the new game in the popular court room battle series from Japan. Phoenix Wright is a defense attorney who proves his clients' innocence against thetoughest of odds -- and the most ruthless of adversaries. Exercise your legal prowess as you collect evidence, examine witnesses, analyse testimonies and seek the truth to ensure that justice prevails. The game is characterised by its memorable characters, engaging storylines and unique gameplay format, all presented in a comical anime style. The DS touchscreen lets you navigate the game's interface and become deeply involved in court room proceedings With the DS onboard mic you can yell Objection, Take that and more Colorful cast of characters include both new and familiar faces Rerations < Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney - Justice for All >

It seems like every holiday just wouldn't be complete without a new Dragon Ball game release. Since these events seem to be occurring annually, I expected a few DB releases on pretty much every system for the 2008 holiday season. Though every release on the home console systems tend to be fighters, I was happy to see this land on the DS.
I am not going to give this game a 5 star rating. But I must admit it comes pretty close. It has its minor kinks but the positives outweigh the negatives. First of all this is an action adventure game much in the vein of the previous Dragon Ball DS game |
