(Simple and Awesome.)

(Solid DS RPG)

(A good remake)

(Greater than FF)

(Fun remake that is fast paced)
First off, the two 'books' are fairly short games overall. Don't expect some epic 20+ hour adventures. That's a good thing though, because seriously, who has time for that? This is just some great old-school action-RPG gameplay updated for the DS both graphically as well as musically.

Perhaps the best part is the value. You get two classic action-RPGs, plus a soundtrack CD with a ton of music from the games. If you're into that stuff, that's sorta a big deal too.

The gameplay is very, very simplistic. You have a sword, shield and armour and you mow down the enemies. In Book 2, you get some magic as well, but nothing on the level of a more modern RPG, and even less complicated than early Zelda games which is awesome. This of course means it's probably not for everyone, but it's certainly awesome to see one of the best series' ever being kept alive.

This game is going to appeal mainly to fans of oldschool RPG's, and I might add that this game is a little bit of an oddball for a couple of reasons.

First of all, even though the DS has several RPG's available for it, I found that a lot of DS RPG's tend to be lacking in content and substance. While this game is old fashioned (don't expect an overly complex plot), I already found it to be relatively meaty. The game does ask you to explore and find things out on your own, which should really give you a sense of accomplishment when you actually to find stuff. Fighting and leveling seems a little bit too easy, but the game makes up for it in other ways, such as by providing large, maze-like dungeons to bug the heck out of you (a delight for true dungeon crawlers). What you get with this game is a genuine and sincere RPG without any gimmicks and with enough varied content to keep you entertained.

Another thing about this game that is unusual is the graphics, which are both good and bad. This game is a remake of an old 2D game, and at some point I have to question the decision to make the game "3D." First of all, the game isn't fully 3D; it's one of those hokey pseudo-3D games that reeks of the infatuation with superficial 3D prevalent in the 1990's--even in games where 3D doesn't belong, complete with the poor execution. What you get are fairly crude and ugly 3D renderings of the environments (like something I designed in my middle school CAD class) with little 2D sprites pasted over it, all drawn from the same perspective. As a result, the game is uglier than it actually needs to be--they should have either kept it 2D or worked harder to make the 3D more lovely, which we know is possible because of the beautiful Final Fantasy remakes present on the DS (even simple, old-school games such as FF3). If you're nostalgic for hideous PS1 games, this game is definitely for you! That being said, most of the 2D graphics are great, such as the beautiful character portraits for several NPC's that are sure to warm the hearts of any JRPG fan.

Overall I highly recommend this game. It stands out from the rest, and if you like RPG's a lot and have a DS, you really need to have this game as part of your collection.

This package is a good buy for people who enjoy old school RPG gameplay. If you're into fancy sphere grids and dialogue that's voiced... then this game isn't for you. The graphics are a little on the basic side (ie 16-bit character sprites traveling around PS1 style landscapes). The music has been remixed, however that's kind of a mixed bag. On one hand YES it sounds aesthetically better and yet it lacks that catchy feeling the original music had. The gameplay itself isn't really changed to much from the original aside from a few minor additions in terms of items you can collect (oh! and you get to actually slash with your sword to kill enemies instead of just running into them like you could in the TurboGrafix original).

Long story short, if you missed out on Ys I and II and you don't mind old school gameplay then pick this game up. If you don't care for anything that could be labeled "old school," then steer clear. I happen to love it.

I love the DS and I've had my share of typical RPG's (Final fantasy) but the best thing I love about this game is the "no-holds-barred" action. No fight sequences or turn by turn battling, all you do is experience the joy of immediate run and slash gaming. I felt typical RPG's took too long and felt too formulaic. This game is along the lines of Zelda which is a King in the gaming families.
I've played earlier versions, both on original systems and emulators, and I never get very far because of the odd fighting system. Basically in earlier versions you just run into enemies to harm them, and you have to run into them perfectly or they hurt you. This remake fixes that, you actually bush a button to swing your sword. I died two times figuring that out. After that it was great.

I really like the music, it's true to the original, kinda rock music.

The map graphics are well done, they are normal 3D graphics for the DS, not great but get the job done. The characters and monsters are also well done, in fact I really like the monsters. It was fun entering a new area to see the monsters. When the monsters are larger than normal and get along a wall half of them tend to be cut off, but there aren't that many larger than normal monsters anyway.

The layout of the Dungeons and Towns is also true to the original, I've been watching IPAT: Ys Book I&II on youtube when I get stuck and I can follow him exactly, every door, every turn, every treasure is the same. Some of the overworld maps are different though, not a big deal, town A is in a general north direction and Dungeon B in a general west direction. They had to do this because they made the overworld maps a lot larger. Warning on IPAT though, he swears, not as bad as some youtube, but pretty bad.

Ah, another thing, they use the swear word for Dang in this translation. Video games that swear bug me, why do they need to swear? I see no reason for swearing, especially for a game like this that younger players are going to be playing. I used to think if the game was for a Nintendo system then it would be safe, but this word slipped in somehow. I took off two stars on 'overall' because of swearing.

Fun I put 5 however, as it is very fun, and I recommend it. If you can get past the odd fighting system of the originals I would play them also. Originals is to remakes as books is to movies, the book is usually better.

Wow, long review, hope it helps.

(Metroid Man???)

(A great addition to the Mega Man franchise)

(Best Action game ever, yes it is)

(Not for the Faint of Heart)

(A 13-year-old's review from Washington State)
Let me preface this by stating that I missed out on the Megaman X and Megaman Zero games...by choice. Megaman was one of the first video games I played as a youngster, and I felt a great sense of accomplishment when I beat it. When the games in this series started shifting away from the original formula, I refused to play them because I'm a stubborn old gamer...but I decided that it had been way too long since I had a good Megaman adventure so I picked this one up at the urging of a friend of mine. This game is far different from the Megaman that I grew up with, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. The old-school Megaman games just gave you the option to select a stage with a certain boss that gave you a certain ability if you were able to win. I must say that the open-ended set-up for this game is great, Megaman finally gets the treatment it always deserved...this is an excellent game. The graphics are fantastic for this kind of game, I'm glad to see that more and more 2D side-scrollers keep coming out, this is one of the best that the DS has to offer. The voice acting is a nice touch and the anime cutscenes are well done. It's a fairly lenghty adventure for a Megaman game, it took me about 10 hours to get through it. The controls are great and the music is what you would expect from a Megaman game. I will say that this game is very similar to the 2D Metroid games (and Castlevania games from Symphony of the Night and beyond...which also borrowed heavily from Metroid) as far as save points and the overall layout of the game...not to mention the fact that Grey winds up being a bounty hunter. I give this game an overall rating of 4 stars, 5 stars for the fun factor but I had to take a star away for borrowing so heavily from Metroid (even though that's part of why I like it so much).
I have to admit I am unfortunatly a little out of touch with the Mega Man series. I have not played since the first four or so of the Mega Man X series. I loved the Mega Man X 1-3 games I thought they were great steps in the gameplay and world of Mega Man. Mega Man ZX Advent is basically the same in story as all other Mega Man games a big bad guy has plans for the world and you the player must stop them. I have only beaten the game on Beginner as Normal and Expert are much more difficult (probably my one caveat with the game) but found picking back up in gameplay intuitive and fun. The newish biometal system is cool, switching between different Mega Man styles is cool. Overall while the story is familiar the game is quite enjoyable and the visuals are great I highly recommend this game to anyone.

A

This is possibly the best action game currently on ds next to ninja gaiden dragon sword. I've been a megaman fan for 6 years when i was 9 And i have to say this is the best action game. many forms for you to get including upgraded sprites of the former models. voice acting for every cutscene and enough action to last you a month. even includes easy mode for those who are new to the series, and normal for those who are accustomed to the series. This game features a new model A which can copy enemies like Axl from mega man X7and X8. Through it you copy forms such as the models from ZX and the boss which will help you progress through the game. This game has a great story line. Those who are new to the series should try this title before the first one. This game is for kids young to old, as well as for adults and megaman fans.Mega Man ZX: Advent
This game is more directed towards those gamers who have played Mega Man Zero 1-4 and the original Mega Man ZX. This game is difficult from the get-go, and it gets harder from there. Even then, it's actually EASIER than the aformentioned games.

Normal mode isn't as hard as it's cracked up to be, but it is difficult. Here's the clincher; this game was meant and directed towards HARDCORE gamers; I truly do not recommend this game to anyone under the age of 15. This game is "nintendo hard."

I myself loved this game due to it's balance of difficulty and the many different aspects of gameplay, but I give it a 3 rating because of the fact that not ALL gamers are HARDCORE gamers. I could have been biased and put a 5 because I myself loved it to death, but I gave it a 3 because it's not geared to the majority of gamers out there.

I got this game with my birthday money and it's a good game. I had never played the first Megaman ZX game and I'm glad I chose ZX Advent because if I had started with megaman ZX I probably wouldn't have chosen this game. It took me around 3 hours to beat this game not, counting the time it took when I had to restart due to losing lives. However, on my beginner mode, my gametime says around a few hours and I still haven't completed all the quests.

Megaman ZX Advent has 3 modes, Beginner, Normal, and Expert. Beginner is for those who are playing ZX games for the first time. Normal is for those are used to it and even after I beat beginner mode a few times normal mode is still sometimes a pain even after beating it. While Expert Mode lives up to it's name. You only get 1 subtank throughout the game, and you don't get any health upgrades. Advent also has over 10 bosses you can play as using "A-Trans" to morph into them after you defeat them in battle, and it has one secret character you can play as. It also gives you five minigames. The first one, Gem Buster, is for ad-hoc people only. The second one, Survival mode, has you play against ALL the bosses with your health and BM gauge set to default and only two subtanks. The third one, Boss Mode, lets you play against your favorite bosses to see how quickly and effectively you can destroy them. It also had Quiz Advent where you try to successfully answer 20 question based off of the bosses you fight. It's divided into three parts: gap, silhouette, and zoom quiz. Finally, the final unlockable minigame is megaman, a game where you get to play as the original megaman and it's actually pretty fun. Advent also has voice acting, not the best but something new from all those other action games. It's hard to rate this game' difficulty due to being in the gray area of being to difficult and being just difficult enough. All in all it's a great game that,if you're new to the Megaman series, it's a game you should definitely try out.

Iconic video game hero jumps into high-intensity platform action with new expanded gameplay set in a world of future technology. High-intensity action and bold, new and evolved gameplay featuring elements never-before-seen in the series make Mega Man ZX Advent the definitive Mega Man experience.

(Nice Case For The Price - Holds Everything (almost!))

(HORI Luxury DSi Case Review)

(Dsi's Softest Security)
Just a quick note here about this case. It is a soft case with zipper and it has decent padding all around. The interior is very soft and easy on the finish for your DSi.

When I initially got this case I thought to myself after opening it that I'd be replacing it "when something better came along" (thinking about the DS case I had, simple, with zippered "netting" pouch on the back of it). Well, I've got to say that I don't have any intention of replacing this case and have grown to love it. Why? Here's why:

- Fits DSi nicely and padding protects nicely
- 3 padded slots inside case for extra games
- 1 padded/covered pouch just for an extra stylus

** Bonus Features (in my mind, anyhow)

- Enough room INSIDE to fit headphones (i use iPod headphones), be a bit clever with 'em and the earpieces and plug fit nicely along the backside of the DSi without having to "jam" them in or worry about it scratching the finish of your DSi, while the coil of wire lays on top, no damage to your earbuds or your DSi!

- ALSO enough room to lay a full-sized (pen sized) stylus (the one that comes with the protector screens) on the same space as I put the earbud headphones, which is along the "hinge" of the case.

These two "bonus" features along with the rest of the features keep me sold on this case, the price is VERY right, and it offers great protection as well as a way to carry my extra games, full-sized stylus, and iPod earbuds - without damaging/forcing any of it into the case.

If you're looking for a good quality padded case for your DSi, without breaking the bank, and especially if you're looking for a case that will also allow carry of earbud headphones without damaging them or creating a "bump point" that would damage your DSi if you happened to drop it on that point, THIS IS THE CASE FOR YOU!!

Hope this review helps someone decide on a good case. I love mine and haven't found anything that works any better at any price!

The Hori Luxury case for DSi is a good quality product that meets the standards of other Hori products. I have always trusted Hori when buying gaming peripherals. I bought this case to keep my DSi safe and that's what it does. The case is a bit bulky and the design on the top is a bit ugly. I only intend to use this case to keep my DSi safe until a better looking case comes along.
When it has came down to Nintendo, they definitely have shown the best in the way of video games on the go. That has been shown so well with the Game Boy series of games for nearly 20 years, and again with the DS for the past 5 years. With the newest incarnation for the DS, DSi which came out just this month, many gamers have been looking for the best in securing their DSi needs. While many have seeked the more popular silcone skins, they just haven't kept with all the gameing needs. Fortunately, there are better options, like this DSi Carrying Case. This is a simple and convient way of storing all your DSi needs, from carrying your favorite DS games past and present like Brain Age, as well as the convience of spare DSi stylus pens, which is simple and easy to store away. While it might cost a couple of dollars more than the silcone skin for the DSi, it definitely is worth it. I absolutely recommend this as a better bet for the DSi. Not only that, but if still also have the DS Lite, you can also use this too to secure the system from any damage as well. So, if you want a more stable case for the DSi, you're better off with the DSi Carrying Case.

(Great virtualon style combat, good customization.)

(10 y.o. son and his friends enjoy this game)

(Incredibly Great)

(Fun, but Shallow)

(Solid 4/5 title worth trying)
Custom Robo Arena is good game for fans of the mecha combat theme. With hundreds of parts and thousands of combinations you can honestly make your robo as unique as you yourself are. The combat is fast paced, requiring much attention, while the non-combat portions are mostly walking and reading plot. Like many JRPG before it, Custom Robo Arena offers alot to the person who feels like ignoring adults and walking into random peoples houses. The non-combat can begin to feel long, but the fact that there are almost always people to challenge repeatedly for money and EXP in the meantime is a good release for people who suffer from TLDRitis. My only issues with the game are that it fools you into thinking you have won several times only to find that there is more plot ahead of you, and that once you find a decent combination you can work with you almost never have to change your robo around. This last one is a real issue if you enjoy wireless play, because once your opponant pins down your strategem... You. Are. Hosed. The AI is not brilliant enough to really counter the effecent use of parts known to the player, so you almost never have to use an alternate build (especially if you are a speed/knockdown artist like myself).

Overall I recommend Custom Robo Arena mostly to JRPG/Mecha combat fans, and encourage those who want to play to find someone to play with wirelessly. I'm not saying the casual gamer or DS fan wont enjoy this game, but to get the full experience you can't walk into blindly, or you will find yoruself either owned by the AI or numbed by the dialog.

I bought this game to keep my 10 y.o. son occupied while we traveled and it totally did the trick! This game kept him entertained for many, many hours (in the airport and on the plane and during down times in between).
In this game, the fun goes on and on and on! With cool graphics, a superb story line, and great weapons, I was blown away by how fun this game was! You can customize your robot with unique (and sometimes illegal) weapons, and battle your way through work on the police force, during your studies at school, and even during a tournament! Even after you beat the game, there are so many things to do, like battle, play games at the arcade, and earn cash to buy new equipment. Two thumbs up!!!
This game was a lot better than I'd expected it to be. The combat is very simple, fun, and fast-paced, reminiscent of the old arcade game Virtual On. The customization of the game is a little bit like a simplified version of the popular Armored Core series. The story looks and feels just like the Mega Man Battle Network series.

The customization is fun, and the battles are a blast, but that's all you're going to enjoy the game for. The game's story mode is bad, especially when plagued by lame dialogue that can't be skipped. But you have to cringe your way through the story mode in order to collect enough of the many various parts to customize your robo.

The exploration in story mode is very bare. It looks just like Pokemon or the Mega Man Battle Network games, but closer to the latter in which you'll be given simple tasks like "go to point B and talk to person A, return to point A and battle person B, go home". Your home is where you go every night, have a dinner conversation with your family, and go to sleep. Then you wake up, have a breakfast conversation with your family, and go to school.

It's after school that things start to get interesting. You can go to the various parts shops for your robo, buy dioramas to pose your robo in (A time-consuming but addictive affair that is purely cosmetic and doesn't have any affect on gameplay), and visit the local Robo Center where you can battle various AI characters for fun. It all gets old very fast, but you're getting parts and money while you do it, so that should be enough incentive to keep going.

Some touch-screen features are tacked on, like posing your robo in various dioramas, and the need to polish your Custom Robo to keep it clean, because a dirty robo is impaired in battle and nets you less money after a win. Later in the game you unlock a power-up which requires pressing a button on the touch screen, but that could have easily been mapped to a button on the DS, because one button is left unused.

The game's fun really opens up when in battle, where the story mode's AI opponents range from "stand there and do nothing" to "destroy you in seconds". The game's difficulty is unbalanced and occasionally frustrating, but if you fail repeatedly you can retry as many times as you need; the game even offers you handicaps with enough consecutive losses.

Taking the game online is the funnest feature, but you have to make it through the story mode first to really enjoy it.

Here are my overall ratings (1 to 5):

Gameplay: 5
Story: 2
Multiplayer: 5
Graphics and Sound: 4
Value: 5

This is a game that requires a little work on the gamer's part to enjoy, but once you collect enough parts for your robo and you're ready to take on online multiplayer, you have a fun online multiplayer battle game that you'll be playing for a long time.

Just like the other reviewers, my son enjoyed this game a lot, but it doesn't have the long-term oomph of other top-rated titles. For the price, this is a good value and most kids will enjoy it, including the multiplay, but eventually grow tired of it and resell it for something else. My son (9) liked it quite a bit, so give it a try.
Custom Robo Arena takes place in the not-too-distant future, mankind relies on tiny, telepathically controlled robots to perform dangerous tasks. Deep-sea research, disaster relief and interplanetary exploration are all done by Robos -- popular and easily customized machines. Robos also form the favorite sport of tomorrow: battling in the holographic arenas called "holosseums." Now that criminals have taken to using these mighty miniature machines as weapons, the Custom Robo phenomenon has grown into a problem for the whole of society. Competitors battle customized robot warriors in holographic battle arenas. Victory is determined not only by fighting skill but also by how well Robo Commanders design their robot gladiators, so players need both brawn and brains to survive.

(Nice Case with a Bite)

(Protect your DS Lite)

(Shoddy clsoure tabs mar an otherwise good product)

(Perfect DS case)

(Perfect Case)
My sister has this case and I really liked hers, so I bought one for myself. It keeps a few games and an extra stylus, plus can accept a strap. The one downside is that it delivers a serious pinch to ones fingers if not careful. It took me a few pinches to get a healthy respect for the closure. Otherwise this is a great accessory for the price.
I bought one of these for my son after his last DS broke. It's a very nice case for the price. The inside is lined with a rubber cushion that grips the DS Lite snugly. I placed the DS inside and turned it upside down to see if I could shake it out. It stayed put until I pried the DS out. Same with the little games. They don't budge until I take them out. Everything holds securely.

The outside is tough plastic. We got black and it is shiny, a real fingerprint magnet. It is bulky, but that's the price we pay for the extra cushioning. Still, I find it attractive.

The button that opens the case needs a bit of pressure to work. Younger kids might have trouble with that. On the other hand, if you drop the DS in this case, it won't open up and your DS won't fly out.

My son did get pinched in the back of the case where it opens up. Be careful there. I can see how that happens when I tried it myself.

One improvement I think would be nice is if they had placed a hole where the power button is. That way, my son could play the DS without removing it. The bulk may prevent him from wanting to play like that, but at least it should be an option.

Overall, a great buy. My son can keep his DS Lite and games stored together when he lugs it around with him and his DS is protected from falls.

Was optimistic when we rec'd this - but within 1 day of my 7 year old using it the small, brittle closure tab which holds the case shut - and not because my daughter was rough with it - she was so excited about her new "pink case" she was very gentle. Considering this is a case designed to protect a DS - I was shocked at how flimsy the construction was on this critical piece. We returned it.
My three kids all have these cases for their DS systems, and they are the best around. The interior is well padded, and despite being dropped, neither the case or the DS inside sustained any damage. The case also stores a spare stylus and six games but is still pretty compact. Available in the same colors as the DS line, so you can get one to match your system's color.
The case for the Nintendo DS game that I purchased for my grandaughter was perfect for her to store her game in. Just the right size. Very durable.
This hard polycarbonate case holds your DS Lite plus six (6) extra games and an extra stylus pen. Snap your DS Lite into place and it'll feel like it just checked into a 5-star hotel. So grab a couple of your favorite games, load it up and go about your day knowing that your DS Lite is protected. Open the pressure locking system and you're ready to game.

(So do you feel like driving 350 mph? Look no further....)

(Very much fun!)

(GO SPEED RACER GO!)

(great game!)

(Speed Racer good for kids...)
I was looking for a racing game on the Nintendo DS platform and this game is very exciting. Graphics are very good, and you get the effect of actually driving at super high speeds. I actually had the sensation like I was driving faster in this game than the F-Zero on Nintendo 64 and SNES. You drive through tunnels, jump ramps and do various stunts while racing. The sound effects are very good even though the music is not too exciting.

There are only up to 5 competitors which is a little disappointing since I like more 'traffic' on the road. The speed bursts are fun and the special effects add more of a thrill to gameplay.

Gameplay is entirely through the buttons and keypad. You don't use the touch screen for gameplay. Controls are simple to learn although there is a slight learning curve "Car-Fu". The physics are realistic (you can even 'drift'), despite the fact that you don't sustain damage to your vehicle. You have the option of competing on 3 levels of difficulty, and playing by a race or 'career' mode. As you advance, you unlock more drivers and courses. The artificial intelligence of your competition is quite challenging.

This is a very entertaining game and it satisfies my 'need for speed'.

I still can't believe I'm playing this game! It's very fun and you can do really nice triks with the cars!
Go Speed Racer Go! Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know I'm a copier! I had ordered this game on AMAZON and got it for 20 bucks, and I'm glad it was only 20! It is well worth the money, if it was 28 or more I would've questioned the AMAZON Sellers, but they did a great job grouping the price together and it paid off. OK, enough of that junk! Now onto the game. As another reviewere mentioned The music and the menu aren't spectacular but aren't to annoying or hard to hear\listen to. The graphics are unbeleivable and give great credit to the makers of SPEED RACER THE VIDEOGAME. If only they spent a couple more days on making it, it would've been perfect. You can play multiplayer(I don't do that, and as the same reviewer said you have to have multiple catrs, and the back of the game case says that it can be played from 1-6 players), arcade(Single race, Battle(Trying to complete certain tricks and events in a limited time), and a few others.) Also you can play WRL(WORLD RACING LEAGUE) in which you play at 3 different tracks, and by doing tricks, jumps, and stunts, you can gain more fans(With how many jumps, tricks, and stunts you do you gain more and more fans, and the more and more fans you get, you get to unlock different racers, tracks, events, and paint jobs) with it(You can't get fans to unlock things when you play single player quick race)and also you can read tutorials if you are lost(or look at the instruction booklet) and it will tell you how do do things. Here are the pros and cons:

Cons: Tracks look simlair(as another had said) and the music\menu aren't wow-outta-your-seats-like but they aren't horrid.

Pros: Great Graphics
Lots of racers and at least 3 paint jobs for each racer
Lots of fun tricks, and stunts as well as jumps( in which you do flips, etc while in the air) and are really addictive.

Also you can do CAR-FU In which you when you are close enogh behind you will press the B button(which is also displayed when you are close wnough to your opponent and you will see a white circle with a B in it telling what button to press) and you play a so called "MiniGame" in which if you press X or Y depending on the top screen what it says and if you get better than your opponent or get into the middle or very vclose to it you will hit the X or Y button and if you are successful you will send your opponent flying an you will gain a fan in WRL mode or in single player you just move ahead of your opponent and gain a position(no matter what mode you're in). If you aren't successful you will be in the dust and will be a deads ducky.

Conclusion: Great game for all ages

My 7 year old son got this for Christmas along with a few other DS games. This was by far his favorite. He's played it constantly since receiving it!
This is one video game that is child friendly or for those tech game challenged. My 5 yr old loves it. No matter what he does he doesnt die, the game just keeps him playing.
Get behind the driver's seat with this Speed Racer based on the Wachowski Brothers film with its garage of combat-ready rides and see how you fare in "car-fu style" action. Take on the role of the characters from the film, getting behind the wheels of each character's signature vehicles to experience firsthand the film's high adrenaline, combative racing style. The film itself is based on the classic series created by anime pioneer Tatsuo Yoshida. A live-action family adventure, Speed Racer follows the young racecar driver Speed in his quest for glory on and off the track in his thundering Mach 5. Choose between three different variations of the Mach 5, each one equipped with several gadgets that are unique to the car like grip tires, rotary saws, a periscope, a deflector, and auto jacks. All of the gadgets have a specific purpose. The rotary saws are used to cut down any trees that get in the way. By activating the auto jacks, the Mach 5 can jump over obstacles to discover shortcuts. Discovering the shortcuts is the key to getting the fastest times on all three tracks and mastering the Normal and Endurance modes. If you play the game well enough, you will be able to unlock new vehicles, including Racer X. Get behind the wheel and go, SPEED RACER, go!

(oh my god!)

(monkeys R 4 luvin')

(Probably great for kids but not adults)

(Great game and fun!)

(Fun game for younger kids)
I bought this game because i loved supermonkeyball on the wii! this game is so fustrating that I wanted to kill myself, put the game on top of me, and write a note on it that says it is all your fault supermonkey ball!!! not really :) but I was reallllyyyy fustrated and on the verge of tears on the second level of this kid's game!!! my god! cant someone make these games just a little more easy?
got this for my 13 yr olddaughter, she loves it. Kept her quiet on a 725 mile drive back from grandma's.
As an adult gamer, I thought I'd try this game and see what it's about.

If you like driving or racing games, this is for you.

It reminds me of Pac n Roll DS where the pac man rolls down lanes. This game is similar. You have to roll the ball with the monkey inside it down certain paths, collect bananas along the way and race against time to the goal. That's basically it for this game.

I can see where kids would enjoy this simple&cute game. The graphics are nice and in 3D. The stylus can be used in this game but the buttons are preferred for better control.

I am not into racing or driving games so in my opinion, I gave this 2 stars.

Its a very exciting game. I like the game. Its great for the value. Its fun. Everything A+++++
I recently purchased this game for my 6 year old son. It is now his favorite DS title. Monkey Ball contains an entire collection of fun action games.

Pros:
- Contains a collection of fun action games on one "disk"
- Easy to use for younger children - no reading required
- Fun with no violence
- It seems to be challenging
- Kids up to college age borrow the game and have fun with it

Cons:
- Repetitive music could drive parents crazy during long car rides (-;

Super Monkey Ball: Touch&Roll brings back the classic action of Super Monkey Ball with even more game modes. Try your skills at navigating the monkeys in the maze, but be careful -- go too fast at the wrong spot, and you'll go over the edge.

(Granddaughter's Favorite Game)

(If you love Dogs and Cats you will love this)

(Good Game)

(Very easy...)

(Dogs and Cats Paws and Claws)
Since Granddaughter Becky received a Nitendo DS Lite for her birthday, I wanted to select the best possible game. I did an online review of several games and Dogs&Cats came in highly, plus there are several others in the same category which can be added. She loves any type of animal, so this game was the best selection. Feeding either the cat or dog, training them and playing with them. It all helps to teach responsiblity to children and would be the perfect gift before giving a child a real pet. She is so happy and loves to share this wonderful game with others.
This game is so cute and fun to play. This is a great way to teach your children how to care for a pet without the worry of the pet not being cared for. It teaches them responsibility and also offers a lot of fun they can have playing with their dog or cat. I just wish they offered more of a selection of Dogs and Cats though but the ones they have are really cute. But best of all the kids can earn coins and buy things for their pets as well. My daughter loves that feature.
This game was definitely adorable and taking care of a virtual pet was fun. Its amusing for short periods of time. However, it can get somewhat repetitive and doesnt keep my attention for long.
for my girl, this game was very easy, but she likes it very much because is about pets and she loves them.
This is a great game as I think all the pet games are by nintendo except for Nintendogs and Puppy Luv.Nintendogs is good just not great as it's made out to be.Puppy Luv is the worst
This game gives you a choice of cats or dogs to take care of and it has alot of fun features as you go along.Seeming I have just started it,I can't give it many details.
It is a definate game for people that love pet games. Not too easy like Hamsterz Life 1&2,but not as difficult as Horsez 1&2.

Dogs and cats look to you for care, guidance, and training?raise them from little puppies and kittens and watch as they grow, play, and learn together. Make sure your animal friends get plenty of healthy food, exercise, and playtime?and lots of love from you!
