There are other versions that include an actual ink pen, but that would be trouble in the hands of a 2 yr old. >price: HORI Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Buy it for the stylus) ![]() ![]() 『I have used many good screen protectors. These are not good. The major problem is that once you stick them on, they are a huge pain to lift. Scotch tape does NOTHING. I had to use packaging tape to lift the protectors, which is a headache since the tape is really too strong for this purpose. A good screen protector, like the one I use on my iPhone, lifts up with ease using just plain scotch tape. After trying to clean the top screen off for about 10 minutes without success, I just tossed it in the trash. It wasn't worth the hassle. The touch screen protector applied fairly decently, so I've left that on there for now. I gave it 2 stars for the stylus, which is a nice product. Way better than the cramp-inducing standard stylus. It alone is worth the price, but it's a shame that the protectors are so chintzy.』 (Screen Protection and a longer Stylus!) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 『Applying the screen protection can be tricky as far as keeping out the air bubbles and making sure it is straight, but overall its work very nicely. You can always push the air bubbles out with your fingers but it is a slow process. I was really impressed with this new stylus though, its much longer than the small DS stylus, it feels more like a regular pen. Even though it doesn't slide into the DS i still like it better, its just more comfortable in your hand. This combo package is a steal, i would have payed this amount for the pen alone.』 (Great product) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 『I had never applied a protective filter before, but I got this on without much trouble. Protects my DSi screen and the extra stylus are great.』 (Great stylus) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 『I bought this primarily for the stylus. And the stylus is great, it fits my hand well and feels more natural and comfortable than the one that is included with the DSi. The screen protector is exactly every other screen protector I have ever seen. It was impossible to put on without getting dust between it and the screen. I properly cleaned the screen ahead of time and was in a relatively dust free environment, however the static charge on this was very high and it attracted 3 large pieces of debris. I think anyone who says they don't have these problems either applies them in a clean lab or just can't see the bubbles (every product I have ever seen in real life like this has always had bubbles from dust, no matter what the owner said). So in short, buy it for the stylus but don't expect anything from the screen protector.』 『Officially licensed by Nintendo. 2 item set includes screen protective filter and touch pen』 『 DSi Screen Protective Filter&Stylus Kit > 『 DSi Screen Protective Filter&Stylus Kit > 『 DSi Protector for Nintendo - Clear > 『 DSi Protector for Nintendo - Clear > 『 DSi Compact Case - Black > 『 DSi Compact Case - Black > 『 DSi Compact Case (Luxury Style) - Black > 『 DSi Compact Case (Luxury Style) - Black > 『 Nintendo DSi Matte - Black > 『 Nintendo DSi Matte - Black > I wanted to buy It↑ タイトル『 Hotel Dusk: Room 215 > 『 Hotel Dusk: Room 215 > 『 Unsolved Crimes > 『 Unsolved Crimes > 『 Cate West The Vanishing Files > 『 Cate West The Vanishing Files > 『 Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 > 『 Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 > 『 Mystery P.I. >price: Nintendo Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review ("And here? Inside this hotel? Am I going to find something I don't want to see?"--Kyle Hyde) ![]() ![]() ![]() 『This "mystery novel" puts you in the character of Kyle Hyde. Hyde is a tough, no-nonsense, surly former New York detective turned salesman for Red Crown. His boss, Ed, also uses Hyde for side jobs "finding things that don't wanna be found." Hyde is also looking for something that doesn't want to be found. He turned in his badge three years before after shooting his partner Bradley who had turned on him. He watched Bradley fall into the Hudson but, for some reason, believes his partner is still alive. He wants to track him down not to finish him off but to ask him why he had turned traitor. His business and quest takes him to a dingy hotel in Los Angeles called Hotel Dusk. The story takes place in one day: December 28, 1979. I was persuaded to buy this game because of the time period in which the story takes place. As a child of the '80s, it is pretty cool to see things like cassette tapes, beepers, and landline phones. Hyde runs into all sorts of characters who work for or are guests in the hotel. Louie DeNonno, a hippie slacker who does lots of jobs for the hotel, is someone from Bradley's law enforcement past (the other side of the law) who becomes a big help to Hyde getting him into staff-only areas. Other characters he meets have back stories that often intertwine with each other. It actually is a challenge to keep all the stories strait. Another reviewer compared the graphics of the characters to the sketches in the A-Ha "Take On Me" video. That is a pretty accurate description. Their different expressions that correspond to the moment (albeit repeated) give them personality and believability (i.e. Rosa, the cleaning lady/cook and Martin Summer, the snobby novelist) although the fact that their stories all seem to connect is a bit far fetched. I used a walkthrough to complete the game. I don't think I would have been able to without it as some of the tasks proved difficult even with the walkthrough. The flour on the pen and the bookmark in the box scenes I had to repeat over and over as I couldn't trigger it. I can't imagine sticking to something like that while wondering if I was even on the right track. I think I might just give up and try something else. In another task, you need to close the DS and open it back up. Now, I don't know how anyone would just stumble upon that trick without a walkthrough. As other reviewers have noted, there is a lot of dialogue in this game. Well, it is, after all, a "mystery novel." I don't mind the dialogue for the most part; however, some of it does seem unnecessarily long and pointless. One dialogue scene near the end of the game I thought would never end. There are cases where you can say or do the wrong thing and be kicked out of the hotel. Thankfully, you can re-start where you left off and correct your mistake. I enjoyed the game but I am giving it a critical score because I was disappointed in the ending. I don't want to give anything away, but my brain was so cluttered with the different stories of the characters that, when it finally reached the end, I just did not have closure. Loose ends of some of the stories are tied up maybe not completely but neatly enough but, the main story, I just don't think Hyde would be satisfied. There are too many things left open. And the room that grants wishes? Whatever. In sum, it was an interesting idea with intriguing game play and stories, but was too complicated and, in the end, remained in the dusk. 』 (i really like the game) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 『This game kept my attention for the most part the only thing i do not like is all the damn talking. alot of it was uncall for but other then that i really like the mystery behind it.』 (It's ok) ![]() ![]() 『I didn't care to much for this game it's boring not enough action too much talking』 (Disappointing game) ![]() ![]() 『The game plays like an old 1960's film, slow moving, and way more dialog than necessary. The animation style is irritating to watch and I just couldn't get into the game. In its defense, I stopped 2 hours in, I just couldn't stay interested any further than that.』 (Hotel Dusk) ![]() 『Hated It. Was looking for hidden object game, which this was advertised as. I got to 8:40 anyway, but say or do the wrong thing or wrong answer to a person, END GAME. I am done. I am in pain 24/7 and find games that hold my concentration will keep that at a tolerable level for sometimes a very long time. The Forgotten Ruins is a perfect example. I can't wait for DS to come out with more. I ruined my computer filling it with downloads. Don't like most arcade games, but Mahjong and Jewelquest work for me. Any old games or similar ones especially by Spintop would be much appreciated advice from anyone from you or your reviewers. Sincerely, E. Zaharopoulos』 『 Part hard-boiled detective story, and part interactive mystery,Hotel Dusk: Room 215is an intriguingly addictive yarn that takes place over the course of one night; December 24, 1979. Game Storyline
But who is Kyle Hyde? Why does his past haunt him? And what happened in Room 215? Only by taking a stylus in hand and navigating through the story's twists and turns can you learn the answers. Gameplay Hotel Dusk uses branching storylines to tell its tale, giving you many options for how to go about solving the mystery. Should you strong-arm a suspicious stranger in the hallway? Be friendly to the hotel maid? Pretend to be interested in the manager's rambling stories? It's all up to you, but choose wisely. One false step could get you thrown out of the hotel and forever seal the mystery of what happened on that dark Christmas eve so many years ago. 『 Hotel Dusk: Room 215 > 『 Hotel Dusk: Room 215 > 『 Unsolved Crimes > 『 Unsolved Crimes > 『 Cate West The Vanishing Files > 『 Cate West The Vanishing Files > 『 Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 > 『 Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 > 『 Mystery P.I. >price: Nintendo Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Great game with a irritating flaw) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 『First of all, this is an amazing game. Being a hobbyist drummer, I love rhythms and music and this game got me addicted. Initially, it seems not that difficult a game to play. You start with the easier level of difficulty, playing the easiest stages, and, one by one, stage by stage, you start practicing, and practicing, and beating the stages and the first difficulty level. When you get to the second difficulty level, things start to get a little more difficult, specially in the latest and more difficult stages, but, after trying it some times, you will manage to beat them all. Then comes the real challenge, the hard mode (called Sweatin'). That's when you feel the thrill! The most advanced stages are really demanding but, again, you will eventually beat them all and advance to the next and last level, the Hard Rock level (that I'd call insane! :-)). History repeats itself and will probably manage to beat again the 19 available stages. So, what is it that I want to tell you? What I want to tell you is that if you are happy with just beating each stage at each level, the game is not THAT difficult, BUT, if you plan on getting to 80 million points so to unlock all the unlockables, then you will need persistence and practicing a lot. THEN, after you get there, you will start looking at that score and you will start thinking why the heck there are NINE digits for the total score and not eitht, after all, 80,000,000 uses eight digits! The thing is that you can get past the 100,000,000 points! How to? THAT is when you will need more then ever too much patience and too much training, practicing, and going back to previously beaten stages to beat them again but now that you are used to it, without missing ANY hit and trying as hard as you can to not miss ANY 300-point hit. The way points are counted and accumulated in this game, if you miss ONE SINGLE hit, during a stage, your total points for that stage will EXTREMELY decrease; you need to start it over and try again until you miss NONE during the whole music. That is the only way to make points enough to get you to the 80 million mark. BUT, if you want the 100 million mark (which doesn't bring you any more bonuses at all, just the beauty of having an "1" in that ninth digit and make that ninth digit worth), you will need not only not to miss ANY hit but also score 300 points in MOST of them, which means PRECISION! (you will need no more than 5% of the hits with no-300 points, as an average!). And THAT is when you find that this game CAN BE A PAIN IN THE NECK because the exact timing for some 300-point hits is just awkward, out of sync with the most obvious references, sometimes in sync with some very obscure element of the music, so obscure that you can do it sometimes, but not always, and hitting 300-point through the whole music without any mistake becomes mostly impossible! I've seen some videos on youtube of some players that do score all 300-point hit in all songs but, for me, it is just impossible. I have managed to have all-300 point hits in just some musics in the easiest level of difficulty and in just one music in the next easiest difficulty level! Anyway, I got to 101 million points being the maximum around 104 million. I got happy with my acchievement, anyway. It reached my limit of patience and skills for the game. So, I removed one star from this game because, when you reach the level where you want all 300-point hits, to get to 100+ million, it becomes, many times, frustrating and irritating because the "point of exact hit" of the markers are too much obscure, even for a hobbyist drummer that knows about rhythm very well like me.』 (Video game sleeper hit...) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 『I bought this game with hesitations, but to my suprise, it's my favorite game so far. It's quite addictive and the music is overall pretty good. Some of the title songs are not sung by the original artist, but that doesn't affect game play at all. It's harder than it seems at first and I've really struggled with a few stages, but it's so much fun, I've even gone back and replayed some stages that I really enjoyed. The comic book style story telling on the top screen can be a bit distracting, but once you've finished with the stage, you can "replay" it and then really watch the story line. Some of them are cheesy, but all of them are entertaining and one is even a bit of a tear-jerker. All in all, you should give this game a try if you enjoy rhythm based games.』 (Skeptical at first...) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 『I bought this game based on its glowing reviews but didn't play it until I had beaten a bunch of other games. I finally put it in on a whim and did the little intro. Then I played the first two songs and was wondering what all the fuss was about. It's kind of like DDR for the DS or Parappa the Rappa (does anyone remember this game for PS1??) only you tap instead of dance or hit buttons. As I continued on, I got better at the timing and before I noticed it, I was hooked! This game didn't come out of my DS for over a month; until I beat all four levels. I like that you can skip a bunch of the "junk" (although some people probably found it entertaining). You can select a song and get right to the tapping. :) You can't skip the happy ending if you pass the song but you can skip the bad ending and try again. I played this game for hours and didn't even notice how time was flying! There are bonus levels to unlock and you go up in rank as you accumulate points. I found myself going back to try to improve my grade on the songs. There is a wide variety of music in this game from Madonna to Village People to Good Charlotte. Some of the last songs of the levels are somewhat difficult and took many many trials to beat them but I never got frustrated with this game. I highly recommend this game. Perfect for those long plane rides (best to use headphones though!) because you'll be landing before you know it!』 (Good Gift for All Ages) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 『Elite Beat Agents is a really enjoyable game and perfect for anyone who likes video games that deal with music (such as Guitar Hero, Rock Band, etc). The jist of the game is this: A song starts playing on the bottom of the DS screen. Numbered bubbles start popping up. You hit the numbered bubble on the 'beat' and score points. There's more to it, but it really is almost that simple. When you complete all 15 rounds, you move up to the next 'level' and play the songs over again, only this time there more difficult. There are a total of 3 levels you can go through, making this game fun for a long time. Elite Beat Agents has many popular songs to play along to, including things from these artist: Queen, Avril, The Village People, Madonna, Hoobastank, the Rolling Stones, and many more. Songs are timed well enough for you to play this during a short train ride or a long one. With the DS, you can easily carry this game around with you to have for any moments of 'downtime' you find during the day. I, personally, brought this game to the laundry mat with me to keep me occupied while waiting for my wash! This game says 10 and up, but I think you could go a little young, depending on how good the recipient (or yourself) are good at playing rhythm games like this. A good stocking stuffer or addition for the kid who is just getting his DS. Enjoy the game!』 (Awesome!) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 『this game was really cool. it really is worth it at such low price... after your done tho, you prolly wont want to play again xcept on wifi, which is awesome because your friend(s) dont need the game to play, and up to four can go with just one card! so it is a very good multiplayer game!』 『Elite Beat Agents are a super-secret agency made up of the coolest group of guys this world has ever known. Of course, according to official records, they do not exist. Their leader, an ex-CIA agent named Commander Kahn, scans the world, seeking out cries for help. When he finds one, he dispatches the agents, who assist their targets by performing a song and dance. The hypnotic nature of their rocking revives the targets with "Groovy" energy that boosts their willpower and helps them overcome their obstacles.
