I finally got one of these after spending a bit of time playing with my sister's model. This is what sold me on it! The downside of online shopping is not being able to see the real item. I like this Nintendo DS a lot! I mostly enjoy puzzle type games, having never got Mario through the first stage even once, but finding Tetris to be a severe addiction... I was looking for a device on which to play it as I can't seem to find the original Game Boy. I do have the DS Tetris version and am getting the hang of it. I find the DS to be engaging and easy to use. I got screen savers as I do have one game that requires a good bit of aggression on my part to make things happen [Rhythm Nation], but for most of the time a saver doesn't seem to be needed. Battery life is adequate, screens are superior to the original Game Boy. Haven't tried wi fi yet. And I love this color!! The gismo has substance and seems like it has good quality to its construction, but I also got it a case so it will stay nice no matter where I go with it.
I found the "brain" games interesting and challenging. I haven't seen a great improvement on the games that I don't do well in but perhaps that comes after a while.
Buying the DS Lite was such a good choice--especially when you find yourself waiting to see the physician and/or waiting for a train or bus. I am quite pleased with it and the ability to play Gameboy games even though the new DSi has come out.
It is a fun little gadget to play games on. I thought that it would be more technologically advanced though. It's heavier and bigger than I thought as well. Overall though it's nice. I really like the silver.

I have played THE original version of Super Mario 64 (ok, not mine, a friend's copy) and I don't remember if the control was any better, but I remember it wasn't so hard to ground pound a frickin stake.

What's new
-A slightly altered intro, and you start off as Yoshi, and unlock Mario, and optionally Luigi and Wario, with each having a special ability after gaining the power flower.
-Improved Visuals
-30 new stars
-Mini Games (not to mention a bunch of rabbits holding keys which allow you to unlock more)
-New multiplayer "battle mode"

So the new stars add some value and a few minutes for grabbing rabbits.
So far I have logged around 23 hours and have 71 stars. The bad thing is that there are only 15 courses, but there are so many secret levels, stars, and areas, (infact in one case there is a whole NEW part to the level!) and the non-linearity give a great sense of freedom and the cart is loaded with secrets. Sometimes, the control can be a hassle, but Overall, a classic made portable, with 4 unique characters, amazingly clever puzzles, and being the best looking and LONGEST DS game yet, this is truly A MUST have version to get, whether you have the original or not.
If you enjoyed the original, you'll enjoy this version. You get to use other characters with different abilities. It takes a little while to get used to the handling, but then so did the original. I guess I just expected really different levels as well...
I didn't read much about this game, but I remember really liking the orginal Super Mario 64. When I started I was a little surprised to be playing Yoshi, but I've played through and I have to say, the changes are definitely good changes that make the game more fun and interesting. Having the different characters to play adds a new dynamic. Really enjoyed playing. Overall, great game!

Mama is back! And this time she has traded in her whisk for a shovel! That's right..Mama gardens now!

The setup is virtually the same as in Cooking Mama. You garden things and then you get a grade for it. There are a couple changes that are worth noting however:
One bonus is that the game is in bird's eye view; you get to roam the garden and select what you want to grow. More options become available as you progress and your garden expands into new areas. You also get more plants to grow as you go along.
Another nice thing is that you can change Mama's outfits and even decorate your garden with the bonus prizes you earn. This is fun when you want to take a break from gardening.

The major difference with Gardening Mama from Cooking Mama is that instead of just cooking a dish and being done you have to allow your plants to grow. So when you garden something you are not done for a while. There are many steps to garden until you get a finished product. Sometimes you can even make food from a plant. It can get kind of annoying waiting for plants to grow because you have to watch them. If you forget about one Mama will come on the screen and alert you, which gets tedious. But other than that waiting for plants isn't too bad.

I would recommend this game for any Cooking Mama fan or anyone wanting to try out the series. It is very fun alone or in single-card download mode. The developers have been consistent with the look and gameplay of the series, which keeps it familiar yet still refreshing. A must for all Mama fans!
I like most others that have reviewed this item, loved the Cooking Mama games. I figured since I liked those then I would definitely like this game, boy was I right. This game is very fun, and addictive. I have to say that I like it better than the cooking mama games. It is set up alittle different than the cooking mama games but nothing major to make it difficult to play.
In this game you will grow different kinds of flowers, vegetables, and fruit. You receive gifts as you do things to get your plants to grow. It's a really nice addictive game. I have had this game for about a month now, and still have not completed the game, and I play it every night for at least 1/2 hour before I go to bed. If you liked the cooking mama games, and enjoy action/arcade/time management games you will really enjoy this game and will not be disappointed!!

Overall a good game. The battle system is hard to get used to at first, however, it becomes much more satisfying than a typical menu system found in other rpg's.
Would be five stars save for two small complaints:
1. The soundtrack is different and good, but some of the songs get annoying on loop the entire time.
2. Too much dialogue.
This was a very fun game from beginning to end. I like that you are ablt to buy clothes and influence the districts with the pins you have on to boost your strength in that district. Overall, very innovative, very FUN!!!
The World Ends With You has a great story plot with a lot of unexpected surprises. The way the player has to get ready for battle depends on what kind of pins best suits him/her. The battle system is somewhat of a mix between Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass' battle systems. Which in the end though is just brilliant. The music is alright that's unless you love pop music that gets repetative. Overall I'd give this game a 9.6 out of 10. This is a must own for NDS owners that are RPG fanboys!
I own over 60 Nintendo DS games that range from toddlertastic (smartboy), to childtastic (Kirby supper star), to absolutely for adults only... out of all the games I have played to date this one has exceeded all expectations in every aspect. AWESOME graphics, AWESOME plot line, AWESOME stylus action, AWESOME music, all of this all the way through the entire game.

There is a memorable cast that you will truly miss when the game is over. From the second you start the game to the end you are lead into their world. You move from screen to screen fighting for your life against the clock, building the next big fashion style, and creating powerful pins to help you fight.

Each set of players in the game has a partner, you play both of these people during every battle. If your not up to the challenge the game will play the alternate partner for you. As you unlock each challenge against the clock you obtain pins, precious items, and money in order to purchase food, clothing, special pins, misc items, and quests. None of these items are necessary to playing the game but simply add to the fullness and interaction of the role.

This game will keep you on your toes as you meet each challenge head on, the graphics will keep you coming back for more.

I played this game for over 2 months, once you complete the story you can go back for more... more fighting to power up your pins, pick your styles, and interact with others for as long as you desire.

I am still looking for the next best game and I have been disappointed at almost every turn... either the graphics were poor, interaction with the characters lacking, the story line an illusion or simply not my type of game.
At first the idea of controlling two fighters on separate screens sounds hard, but it's also allot of fun.
The story line is a bit out there with reapers and players and graffiti coming to life.
The artwork is great as well, sound fx are awesome, the music isn't all that bad for a cartridge game and the game play tho different at first, still very fun and playable.

I finally got one of these after spending a bit of time playing with my sister's model. This is what sold me on it! The downside of online shopping is not being able to see the real item. I like this Nintendo DS a lot! I mostly enjoy puzzle type games, having never got Mario through the first stage even once, but finding Tetris to be a severe addiction... I was looking for a device on which to play it as I can't seem to find the original Game Boy. I do have the DS Tetris version and am getting the hang of it. I find the DS to be engaging and easy to use. I got screen savers as I do have one game that requires a good bit of aggression on my part to make things happen [Rhythm Nation], but for most of the time a saver doesn't seem to be needed. Battery life is adequate, screens are superior to the original Game Boy. Haven't tried wi fi yet. And I love this color!! The gismo has substance and seems like it has good quality to its construction, but I also got it a case so it will stay nice no matter where I go with it.
I found the "brain" games interesting and challenging. I haven't seen a great improvement on the games that I don't do well in but perhaps that comes after a while.
Buying the DS Lite was such a good choice--especially when you find yourself waiting to see the physician and/or waiting for a train or bus. I am quite pleased with it and the ability to play Gameboy games even though the new DSi has come out.
It is a fun little gadget to play games on. I thought that it would be more technologically advanced though. It's heavier and bigger than I thought as well. Overall though it's nice. I really like the silver.

(THE Best DS Game, Hands Down)

With over FORTY games to choose from you will be sure to have some fun.
Instructions are easy and well explained. Graphics are detailed enough without being too complicated and fussy. We have really liked the linking capability. Especially when playing darts and bowling and the DS take on Battleship. There are new and unfamiliar games that are fun and challenging and have become family favorites. The standard games are there too like Mahjong and solitaire. The ages that enjoy this game in our family range from 8 to 83! I highly recommend Club House Games.
It is great value and great fun.
I mainly bought this game because I wanted a backgammon game for the DS... I was pretty impressed! I couldn't find any other info about the backgammon game before I purchased this, so I figure i'll help out my fellow players...

1. Game options - you can choose variable length matches. You can double!
2. Game play - everything uses the touch screen so you touch and drag to move pieces which is pretty cool. Even rolling the dice involves touching each die. pretty cool, although i'd rather just touch them once.
3. Difficulty - there are 3 levels of difficulty. I was impressed with the hard difficulty. It isn't as good as some of the computer games out there, but it was still fun to play against. maybe a rating in the 1600's.

4. Speed - the computer thinking time is really quick so you don't have to wait between moves.

Flaws
The only weird functionality that occurs is when you hit your opponent. The piece is placed on the the outside of the board instead of in the middle. also when you bear off, you put the pieces into a square called "goal" instead of a bin like you would in real life. This is no big deal though.

Entirely recommended!!!

I really like this game. Lots of games to choose from that are very easy to play.
I can't say enough about this game. This game taught me how to play backgammon, dominoes, bridge, chinese checkers, koi koi, about twenty other card games and many other things. And it is all great fun. And you can play via wifi against live players. You will NOT be disappointed with this one.
If you like old school games, you'll like this.

This was what I was looking for for the person who's child is always losing their stylus and was affordable to boot
I bought this product for my 10 year old daughter. It came within a week of purchasing and according to my daughter fits better into her DS than the original. She loves to change out the colors depending on her mood.
Not an orignal nintendo stylus. Its diferent, it does not says nintendo on the side, an the color is a bit diferent from the original, but it does the job.
THe product is good but the time it took to reach me is forever. I do not know why, I paid for shippinng and handling, it is not a free delivery even though it is a very delivery it should not take two weeks.I am okay with the product but I am not happy with the shipping and handling cost and the swervice.

Has a lot for my DS. I wish that it came in more colors than just a black case. Seems to work alright.
Get accessories for the DS and DSi (I had the DS first and was very happy that everything fit with the DSi so I didn't have to replace my accessory kit).

The case holds 12 games, and there is a second game holder for a single game for on the go. The game holder can hold the came console, the charger, and the headphones. I haven't figured out a day to hold both the wall charger and the car charger at the same time, so I just pick one of the two when I'm on the go.
Truly a value for the cost. The kit is completely self contained and comes with everything you could need.
It has what I needed and I'm impressed so far.
I did a lot of accessory searching for my DS Lite before buying this kit - sight unseen - because it had the kind of accessories I needed and the one and only feedback so far was very favorable. I hadn't been to fond of much of the accessories for DS Lite so far, but I took a leap of faith with this one hoping for the best.

This set has everything we needed for our overseas trip. The car charger works in any car, anywhere; so we were able to keep a charge in the UK without purchasing a separate UK charger.

My son is nearly 5 and DUE TO HIS AGE the ear buds would not stay in his ears and the screen cleaner's not much use after his grubby hands have been all over his DS.

Couldn't get the 'clings' to work, but found we didn't have much use for them anyway.

The car charger I rec'd is very short(the cord is the curly kind) not the long one you see pictured. You cant even use from back seat. It is worthless!!!

We bought both the DS Lite version and another for an older DS. This one is for the DS Lite. It also looks cheap. But it works, and it costs a buck (price I paid at that time).

We used to plug an AC adapter to a voltage converter which has a noisy fan. Our converter is also bulky and also take too much space, plus the additional cables.

Now we do not need the converter anymore. We can leave this in the car and have the DS AC adapter at home.
This DS car charger is a must when you have DS games for entertainment in the car!!!!
This DS Car charger works well, but the cord is very short (nothing like the picture.) Our power outlet in the back seat is in the rear of the center console near the floor. My son must sit in the center seat to play his DS if the charger is plugged in (which means I have to move his booster seat over), and it still tends to disconect from the DS if he lifts his DS up too high. Like I said, it charges the DS, but not as conveniently as I'd hoped/assumed.
This simple charger works great for long road trips as it keeps the DS charged while playing. No more worry about battery running low! For a little less than $4 (shipping included), it is a real bargain. I just keep it in the glove compartment at all times.
