(Pleasantly Surprised!!!)

(More fun than the first My Sims for DS)
I know I'm in the minority, but I hated Animal Crossing. It was so boring to me...I know this game is suppose to be similar but its a completly different experience. I've never played the first My Sims so I can't really compare the two, but believe me when I say this game is hard to put down. There is so much to do! The town people are hilarious, the mini games are so much fun (and there is quite a variety), and this game offers so much customization (did I spell that right?) I highly recommend this game. The replay value is high. You run errands, fish, search for essence to either build or make items, play mini games to make your money so you can buy furniture for your house (or you can sell the fish you catch)...the list goes on. My only complaint is that this game is way too short!! They could of been more creative with the storyline. But even after beating the game there is still stuff to do. I was on the fence about this game after all the mixed reviews concerning the first one but I must say this is 30 dollars well spent!
I just got this game a couple weeks ago. It took me a little bit to get into kind of a slow start), but now I am hooked. There are a lot more areas to open up, lots of characters to meet and lots of mini games. I really love the zoo and helping round up the critters (you take pictures of the animals you find and give them to the zookeeper, then he rounds up the animal and puts it back into the zoo). I'm not sure what percentage I am at right now (maybe about 38%), but I still have lots to do and discover with this game.

Wish it was a bit more like the My Sims for Wii where you actually get to design the houses, but as a DS game it is very entertaining.

If you liked the first My Sims DS and even some of the DS Harvest Moon games, I think you will like this game.

Prepare to embark on a journey of discovery to explore and customize theMySims Kingdom.

MySims Kingdomsets you on a storytelling journey of discovery and exploration to help King Roland and his subjects revitalize the Kingdom. Throughout this epic quest you will hear new stories from old and new friends alike, discover fascinating new lands and build to the limit of your imagination. YourMySims Kingdomexperience for the DS begins in The Capital, the land at the center of your storytelling After you have met King Roland you can venture off into the vast lands beyond. Newly-added building options will help you accomplish your tasks. And in true MySims fashion, everything is customizable, allowing every creation within your world to have a signature look.MySims Kingdom…embark on your own journey of discovery and exploration.

(Animal Crossing Raises The Roof!)

(Yay)

(Good Game!)

(I love it! Awsome game!)

(Wow-Animal Crossing Back in Action!)
I think that animal crossing is the most best game around! You can find fossils, cath bugs , fish, and chat whith all the animals. When you first arrive your in a cab and you have to tell an animal your name and your birthday ( it doesnt have to be your real name and birthday) then you go to your house and look around and then you go outside and there comes nook. He says that you have to pay about 18,000 bells on your house! So then you have to work for him. After awhile he fires you and you have to make a living out of fossils bugs furniture etc.

Overall I woulde recamend this to anyone.

This game is amazing. YUou play and unlock more and make friends. The Ds to Ds is fun and I haven't tried the Wi-Fi. Buy this!!
This is an amazing game, though slightly repetitive after a while.
The graphics are good, as well as the controls. It is a great game for almost all ages. I would strongly recomend buyying this game

This game is my very favorite out of all the others that I have. I play it almost every day! I love this game so much, I want to share some fun tips with you:
FIRST...
When you first start playing, you'll make a character, name your character and town, and meet Tom Nook. You'll work for him and when you're done, you get to do whatever you want. You can buy tools at his store to fish and catch bugs. You can shake trees and sell fruit, or just be lazy and talk to your neighbors all day.
UPS AND DOWNS
In Animal Crossing: Wild World, you'll have ups and downs. Some ups are:
When you're done paying ALL of your mortgage to Nook, you have a house with 5 rooms. All of your friends want to come over and see! Another thing is that you can meet tons of neighbors, send letters to them, and visit their houses when they're sick. But meeting new friends can lead to some downs...
Sometimes even your best friends want to move away. If you really want them to stay, go in their house while they have boxes out and tell them you don't want him or her to leave. You might have to keep doing this a few times before they are persuaded enough to stay. I have done that many times and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Just be prepared for them to suddenly move.
MAGIC ROCK MONEY
If you are in need of money, here are some tips to get it fast: First, you'll need a shovel, gold or regular (I'll tell you about the gold in a minute), and a rock.( The rocks can be anywhere in your town. Maybe even by the Museum, your house, Town Hall or the Main Gate.) Then, make sure there is nothing around the rock. Get in front of it and look left or right. Them make a hole, but not on both sides. When you made one hole, look behide you, or turn around. Make another hole. Then face forward, (and I prefer to do this with the pen, not with the controls) and hit the rock. If money comes out, keep hitting it. Whatever you do, don't stop because if you slow down you won't get it all! If the rock you were at doesn't have money, find another and repeat the process. When you find the right rock, you should end up with 8,5oo bells. Was that helpful? Everyday I do that and I get rich at the end of the month!
GOLDEN THINGS
To get a Golden Shovel you need 2 shovels. Take the first and bury the second in a spot somewhere by your house. The next day, go out and dig it back up again. If you wait too long it won't work or it will disappear. To get a Golden Net or Fishing Rod, catch all the bugs and fish and it's yours! The Golden Slingshot is another thing. Shoot down ~15 presents that float in the air and on the next one, it's a slingshot! (The regular slingshot will shoot 1 rock, and the other shoots 3 at different directions.) Hope you get them all!
RARE FRUIT
You get letters from your friends/neighbors, occasionaly Tom Nook or the mayor and your mom and dad. (I got one on Father's Day from my dad.)
Sometime in Animal Crossing, you'll get one from your mom that has a fruit. It will always be a rare one. To make sure it grows, chop down an existing tree, dig up the stump, and plant your new fruit. In a little less than a week, you'll have that kind of tree. Shake the tree and do the same thing with that fruit. When you have enough trees, fill your pockets with it and sell it to Tom Nook. (I've been doing this for quite a while and I have almost 10,000,000 bells saved up in my account at Town Hall. That's right almost 10 million bells!) Anyways, I can't really think of any thing else to say except go to their website www.animalcrossing.com or www.gamespy.com! Hope you like Animal Crossing!! ;)

I could fit many, many pages with what makes Animal Crossing: Wild World the best, funnest, and most creative gaming experience I've ever known. But I'll manage to fit everything in a paragraph or two.

Animal Crossing: Wild World urges the creativity and problem-solving skills out of anyone. The basic gameplay is you must pay off debts to a cheap racoon named Tom Nook. As your house expands more and more, the debt acumulates. You can decorate your house with furniture you get from neighbours (did I mention them yet?), from Tom Nook's store, or from shaking some trees that will (hopefully) prove fruitful and give you a piece of furniture.

You can decorate your house with any number of exotic and wild themes. My favorite are the Western Series, Mario Set, and the Classic set. Of course, there are many, many more.

Time passes like it would on Earth, but when you're playing Animal Crossing: Wild World, there isn't enough time in the world to get what you want done! You can talk to neighbours (you can get eight of them at a time) and hope they give you a favour, you can also check out their houses!

And did I mention the birthday perks? On your birthday, one of the VERY kind residents decides to give you a birthday cake. On the residents' birthday, you can go over to their house for some PAR-TAY!

This game is so good-there is so much I want to explain, but I'm afraid I'd bore you to death. This game is so amazing-it challengs both the creative and intellectual sides of you. Kids will find this game very fun, and even adults get hooked. If you have a Nintendo-Wifi connection, you can get someone's friend code and see their town! You can also do it locally.

And with the start of Animal Crossing: City Folk, Animal Crossing will never be the same again! I've played Animal Crossing: Game Cube, Animal Crossing: Wild World, and I plan to be a proud owner of Animal Crossing: City Folk, released on November 16, 2008.

Animal Crossing: Wild World takes you into a real-time virtual world where an entire village is waiting to be explored. Whether you want to decorate your home, catch bugs or fish, or just chat with the characters in your village, there's always something to do. Days and seasons pass in real time, and you can visit the vilages of online players -- even if they're a thousand miles away.

(love lego and batman)

(Grandson age 9 yrs.)

(awsome lego game)

(9 yr. old loves it!)

(Here we go again...)
Since my boys both love legos and batman, it's a great combo to keep them entertained. They love all the characters and being able to actually be batman!!
I got this for my grandson for his birthday. He was so excited he wanted to play with it right away and not open the rest of his gifts.
cool game fun in a way hard but all in all it is a really fun but short game
This was a gift for my grandson. He has other Lego games for his Nintendo DS. He loves all of them.
The Lego series of games have struck yet again, only this time around they've joined up with none other than the Batman license. Lego Batman for the DS is undoubtedly the best Lego-based video game to hit the DS yet, as you play as The Dark Knight himself along with his trusty sidekick Robin in tow, and take on some familiar faces from Batman's classic rogues gallery. If you've played any of the other Lego videogames, you'll feel right at home here, and as you'd come to expect, there are hordes of unlockables and bonuses to find that will keep your interest. The only downsides of Lego Batman are the same flaws that plagued the previous Lego-based games: the game itself is short and quite easy to get through, and gameplay-wise nothing has changed from previous outings. Still, Lego Batman looks good with larger environments, and Danny Elfman's classic Batman film score is put to good use as well. Plus, with all the unlockables, you'll be busy for a while. All in all, if you dug the previous Lego games, Lego Batman is definitely right up your alley.
LEGO Batman: The Videogamefor Nintendo DS is the latest video game release from the award-winning team behind theLEGO Star Warsseries. With famous LEGO fun and charm, the game takes you into the world of Gotham City's ultimate crime-fighting hero. Here the one-and-only Caped Crusader comes to life in a completely original storyline that draws its frame of reference from everything from everything Batman from the classic DC comics to cartoons, the TV series, and the current blockbuster movie franchise.

(This is not a game, it is better than a game)

(The best program for the DS, hands down!)

(A reason to buy a DS, if you don't already have one)

(What can you say....awesome!!!)

(Outstanding, and then some)
I've owned the Korg DS-10 for two days, and it is the best instrument I have ever bought. I bought my first synth in 1975 a Korg MS-10 which I still own by the way, has never broken and still plays like it did when I bought itKORG DS-10 Synthesizer. Most of my equipment is Korg."Korg you kick *#s, I love your company, I love your synths".
I didn't even bother with the manual, I was creating the mos def Hip-hop- and electronica in 1o minutes. I'm ready to take this thing out and play a club. Welcome to 21st century everybody.
You know, How I know how good this little instrument is. I showed it to some other musicians and they were so jealous I could see them turning green before my eyes.
If your a DJ or electronic musician you gotta get this. You can rock on the fly intuitively, make changes instantly. It's like two synths, two Kaos pads, a drum machine and an effects rack all in the size of a digital camera.
Buy it now before I steal all your gig's. And it will be a shame that someone old enough to be your dad stole your gigs, and maybe your groupies too!! ha ha

Notice I said program, not game. That's because this isn't a game, but rather a music creation tool. It looks a bit like Fruity Loops mixed with an old tracker like FT2 graphically, but functionally it's closest analogue is Propellerhead's Reason, as you get some synths and a drum machine, and that's it. No plugins, no sample imports. Just two 2-oscillator virtual analog monosynths, an analog drum machine and a piano roll a.k.a. "grid" sequencer, along with a emulation of the KORG KAOSS Pad DJ tool.

But you don't really need more than this, simplicity is key. And when the components sound this good, you could have only ONE oscillator and it would still rock. Plus, you have an awesome effects engine which butters it all up.

The level of depth is amazing. I'm used to virtual analogs, so editing sounds is easy, just like on a PC, but there's all these little things I'm finding out you can do that turn this from just a musical idea sketchpad into a full-fledged micro studio.

This is a purchase that I have not regretted in the LEAST, I would have paid $70 for it. If the lack of tracks bother you, record a session into your PC and make a new one on the DS, and just multitrack. Simply amazing, I might make all my future tracks on just this and MilkyTracker alone.

KORG and AQ Software have saved the DS, people. You owe them your money.

The interface works amazingly well, considering the small screen size of the DS. Being able to twiddle knobs on a portable touchscreen for about $40 is amazing. I'm so happy this came out in the U.S. Being able to write tunes and play with synths (without opening my laptop on the subway) is something I've dreamed of for some time. And that the synth is modeled on such a great analog classic makes it all the more fun.

The sounds are solid, and you can do a lot with the effects and the synths if you know what you're doing. I sometimes wish that you could layer more than 2 synths and a drum machine, but what do you want for $40?

The good news is you can wirelessly sync two Korg DS-10s for performances. I am seriously considering ordering a second one, while they are still being made. As this product is pretty niche, I have a feeling that this is the kind of thing that will go out of print and become sought after on eBay.

If you are new to music making on a computer or to analog synthesis, this may take some time to learn how to use. It's not dumbed-down at all - so if you aren't comfortable making songs in Reason or Logic, this won't be any easier. For the musicians, you will be glad they shrunk a complete music making package onto the Nintendo DS. Well done, Korg!

I think this showes that we are on new ground for this type of technology....as the economy goes in the crapper...at least we can look forward to streamlined, affordable useful technolgy! I would recommend this for anyone. Its like having a small swiss army knife...you don't really realize how much you need it until you need it. Capice?!
Truly the greatest piece of software for the Nintendo DS, this is an amazing package. As a user of professional-grade software owner of numerous vintage synthesizers, I was actually shocked at how much they managed to cram into a DS cart, down to the clever effects routing, the fact that each of the four drum voices is completely editable using the same synthesizer engine used for the melodic parts when they could have just crammed in a few PCM samples...truly an impressive package. What's shocking is how intuitive and downright fun it is to use - I made three complete songs in about an hour and a half, including building all sounds from scratch. This is truly an exceptional release. It makes me long for touch-screen PC's with professional recording and synth software written to be this "playable!"

The one downside, as some have mentioned is the the limit of only 16 different one-bar patterns per session/song (though they can be combined, repeated, alternated, and sequenced into 100-measure songs). As the average "verse" or "chorus" of a song is likely to be at least four unique measures long before repeating, you've eaten up half of your available patterns for the song with just a verse and chorus...and the 8-bar bridge w/ kaoss pad solo will easily eat up the other 8 right there. So you have to do a bit of thinking and planning of your arrangement before you run out of patterns, but clever programmers will make it happen.

Whether you are just looking for fun on the run, or a way to work out your next hit song, the KORG DS-10 Synthesizer for Nintendo DS could be your newest best companion. The DS-10 combines the superior interface of the Nintendo DS with the design concept of the famous KORG MS-10 synthesizer to bring you portable music-creation software without rival.

KORG DS-10 Synthesizer brings portable music creation to the Nintendo DS.

Various sound textures are made possible by implementing the two VCO's, three filter types, and more.

Notes that you perform can be recorded in the sequencer, allowing for further editing.
A Professional-Grade Synthesizer in the Palm of Your Hand
The ultra high-quality sound sources for the DS-10 come from KORG, maker of some of the world's finest musical instruments. Korg spared no effort in creating this ultra-portable yet powerful and easy-to-use music software with tons of the latest features-- and all with the unique accessibility of the Nintendo DS touch screen.

The KORG DS-10 Synthesizer gives you the choice of sculpting your own unique sounds with expansive on-screen controls, or starting from a preset template. With two dual oscillator synth parts and four synth/drum parts, users can create synth and drum lines using the on-screen touch keyboard and drum pads, or engage the elegant six-track, 16-step sequencer.

With powerful features such as KORG's KAOSS technology, users can add custom modulations in real-time, tighten the mix with a full-featured mixer, polish their grooves with multiple effects, and create complete songs that they can save on the spot.

The DS-10 features a chorus, flanger, and delay parameter that can be applied individually to each synth or the drum machine, either individually or as a whole. In addition, each of the editable drum sounds can have a separate effect added to it. Various sound textures are made possible by implementing the two VCO's, three filter types, and more, while notes can be recorded in the sequencer, allowing for further editing. This broad functionality, combined with patching functionality, makes the DS-10 suited to even the most avid sound designers.

Intuitive and Easy Use
The sounds made by each of the two analogue synthesizer emulators are modified using virtual knobs, and users can patch particular parameters for further modification. The user interface is mainly through the DS's touch screen. Notes can be played using a two-octave keyboard, or through an interface that detects the X and Y position of the stylus on the touch pad, simulating a KORG KAOSS Pad.

The Nintendo DS's dual-screen touch panel is used to the fullest to provide a feel and operability that is unsurpassed. Although there are many expert-level features available with synthesizer, the DS-10 can be appreciated by the complete novice as well as the seasoned professional.

Music Without Limits
The KORG DS-10 Synthesizer offers two types of wireless play in Multi-player and Data Exchange modes. Up to eight separate Nintendo DS players can connect via a wireless link to perform as an ensemble. Each DS-10 synthesizer can be played as its own independent instrument, or they can be assigned a part to create a band, allowing for virtually limitless applications.

What's more, users who have created new riffs, tunes, or complete songs can exchange their session data with other KORG DS-10 users. It is even possible to send session data in advance to your friends, so you can all play to the same tune. Not only does the DS-10 bring stylus music to the world for the first time, but this robust connectivity allows for performances and compositions that simply aren't possible on a single Nintendo DS.

The keyboard and KAOSS pad can be played directly with a stylus.
