(As fun as PC game)
(FAVORITE NDS GAME SO FAR!!!) Best game ever my little girl got it and plays non-stop some times I take away so I can play we love it! If you like fashion you will love it! Crazy about the PC game, yet this DS version still carry the same fun that found in PC game. Can't stop playing it. I wish they have the Jojo Fashion show 2 in DS game also. My daughter and I have played this game on the pc before but it takes way too long - it's easy to lose interest. This version; however, IS SOOOO COOL! I bought this for myself (I'm 30 something). It is so addicting and so much fun! Best designer game yet!!! Following a meteoric ascent hot fashion designer Jojo Cruz suddenly disappeared from the runway. She retreated from the public eye to raise her daughter while running her own small boutique. At same time her former assistant, the ruthlessly ambitious Claudio Maximiro rocketed to international fame. Now 20 years later Jojo's daughter Rosalind has convinced her mom to make a comeback. With Rosalind as her new assistant, Jojo is ready to show the fashion world she's still got style. Does she still have the impeccable sense of mixing and matching that earned her the nickname, Mistress of Mix? Help Jojo storm back onto the runway as she stages fabulous fashion shows from New York to Paris to Milan. Make stylish outfits from cute tops, elegant dresses and stunning heels as you showcase your fashion sense on runways around the world. And don't forget the right accessory can absolutely make the outfit! Rerations < Jojo's Fashion Show >

(Neat bundle!)
(Horrible)
(Assessories for Nintendo DS)
(Excellent and funtional product) Traveling to FL by car and needed a way to keep the DS charged and games in one place. This does it all and also includes a nice docking station for when we get home. Love the ear buds so instead of having competitions of whose DS can be louder, the adults can have peace on the road trip. For this price, more than a bargain. I really liked this bundle. I ordered it from amazon as I compared prices and found the same bundle more expensive at walmart (sorry walmart). I like the way the table-top charger illuminates when plugged in (you'll need an actual DS AC charger to do this; it's not included)! The screen protectors are always a nice save! As for the case itself, it's quite snug which I suppose isn't suppose to be a bad thing, but I would think I'm not supposed to struggle zipping the case closed with the DS inside. If it wasn't for the "tight" case, I would've given the bundle 5-stars! But if you're searching for a deal, this one is the way to go! The Nintendo DSI does not fit inside the case. The case broke the same day I got it. The desk charger doesn't come with a power adaptor. The screen protectors cover part of the screen so my daughter couldn't see parts of the game. DO NOT buy this product unless you don't mind wasting your hard earned money. I like having the charger 'stand', it even doubles as a night light;. The other items in the bundle will be good to use when going places. And I have already used the screen savers. Good buy Hi, I am from Venezuela, the product is excellent and very funtional,My daughter was very satisfied with the gift. In the shop amazon are very reliable, and the product Dreamgear is of very good quality,

(Great nifty case)
(Intec version of Game Traveler purse)
('S Okay)
(Great buy!!!) This purse is smaller than I expected, but it holds everything my niece needs to carry her DS gear. She loves it [she is 10]. This is a great case to store your DS lite in. It has soft cushions on the inside to protect it, as well as two pockets inside with enough room for the charger and games. There's an outside zipper great for storing quite a few games. It's an attractive case and is great to take everything you need along with you. It's exactly the same as the Game Traveler purse except it's by Intec. It is slightly bigger but it's unnoticeable and there's nothing you can fit in this one that you can't fit in the Game Traveler purse so in the end it's how important it is to have official stuff because on the Game Traveler purse there is a silver DS logo and zippers on the Game Traveler purse. It's a little purse for a DS. Kinda cute. Another gift purchase. Receiver was so excited to get it. This purse holds my Nintendo DS, two of those plastic cases that hold 4 games, charger, a GBA game, and my 4 extra styluses comfortably. It is practical as well as fashionable. When I carry it around, people wonder why I have 2 purses and have no idea that I'm a giant DS nerd!!! You DS Lite is like a permanent extension of your hand, so protect it in style with this fashion forward mini purse. This convenient and stylish carry case protects your DS from minor bumps and scratches and contains extra specialized storage that securely holds your DS games and accessories. customer 's review (Mom likes the hamsters, too)
(love it)
(Great Game for the Young Gamer!!)
(DS Hamsterz instead of a real hamster)
(my childs favorite game) I purchased this DS game for my 8 year old daughter. She loves it, and so do I. It is a very light-hearted depiction of hamsters. Our favorite part of the game is the way that the hamsters talk to you. They say really cute, engaging statements, out of the blue, like, "What you do when you see a cat and your heart almost stops?" My daughter thinks the hamsters are really funny, and she enjoys teaching them and buying them enriching items for their cages. One of our favorites is a roller coaster where the hamsters get a little dizzy. For a lot of fun, I would recommend this game to other lower elementary age children. this is a great game for any girl or boy and teaches responsiblity about caring for a pet Great game for the young gamer in your family! My 3 year old LOVES this game!!! She wanted something that she could play since generally speaking her older sister (and dad) hogs the Nintendo DS system. This game is great for her!!! She can't read yet, and has no problems. She could play this game for HOURS!!! Very simple, perfect for the young kids! WHO CARES about Hampsterville or whatever everyone is complaining about.... your kids will have a blast simply playing with their hampsters!!
Side Note: DO NOT get this confused with Hampsterz 2!!!!! I made this mistake and found out the hard way. My daughter originally played Hampsterz because a friend owned it. So I went to the store and got it. Well I got Hampsterz2. The guy at the store said its the same thing, just more features. WRONG!!!!!! Its is COMPLETELY a different game!!!!! and hard too!!! My 7 year old cant stand it!!! There is very little hampster play. You spend most of the game talking to the computer in imaginary friend sequences. After reading information online I discovered my mistake and have since returned the game for the REAL Hampsterz game!!! I bought this for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas. She asked Santa for NDS and a hamster. There was no way I was going to buy a real hamster for her, so I thought that this was a good alternative. She loved it and has figured out most of the features of the game on her own. FYI, the game requires some reading but she figured it out what to do after I read the bits once/twice. My 11 year old daughter loves this game. She says it is the most fun game she has ever played. She gets on it every day to check on her hamster. She love the fact that she can pick and name her own hamster. my daughter named hers Trixie. I would definitly recomend this game for any child that loves animals. In Hamsterz Life, you adopt a cute hamster from different breeds, raise and train him. As your hamster grows stronger, he can build his own Ham-country with its own bakery, school and bookstore and invite other hamsters. Rerations < Hamsterz Life >

customer 's review (B-O-R-I-N-G.... very dissappointing.)
(a little hard)
(Granddaughter loves it)
(Good concept, but...)
(Horse brushing is confusing and diffuicult to understand) If you are over six years old, do NOT buy this game. I'm 14 and found this extremely boring. I finished the story in a day, and had done all there was to do on the game after three days. The graphics were TERRIBLE! The foals looked more like giraffe weevils with really long legs and hair. They have this kink in their neck where it's at an odd angle, and the legs don't bend right at all... it's actually bordering on creepy. After the story line is over (which is very quickly), you just keep getting the same messages from the other characters. The washing your horse activity was like a terrible, cheapy imitation of Nintendogs. The weird thing is that it's for kids less than seven, but some of the activities are complicated (brush for a certain time with the red brush... don't brush too long! Brush a certain time with the blue brush... don't brush too short!) Ugh. Also cleaning the stables is so tedious... first you have to pick up every piece of waste. Then you have to lay down new straw. about (no joke) 40 times, each pitchforkful having to go back to the original bale of hay. This is a waste of your money. There are dramatic happenings within the storyline, which keep it interesting for a little bit, like the barn burning... you have to put the fire out so your horses don't get hurt. It's almost impossible NOT to put the fire out. Also, (I do understand this is *only* a ds) when you breed your horses it isn't a thing like the PC Dogz and Catz. It gives you a screen with three horses that tells you to pick a mare for your horse to pair off with. Then: *TADA!* You instantly have a foal. And no exciting random color combinations... it's one of the colors you can buy at the store. In my case, I got the same color foal I already had in my stables. The foals also get sick ever other second, and they say you can cure the foal yourself, or send it to the Imagine animal doctor. (you have to buy this game if you want to send your foal there).
So over all I'd say:
Pros: Are there any? lol. The pros are:
-Fun game for a very young person -requires hand-eye co-ordination -You can change the outfits of the character you are controlling
Cons:
-Junky, corny dramatic music (forgot to mention that didn't I) -Terrible graphics -Short storyline -No color variations in the horses when you breed them -Your foals get sick almost every time you visit them. -Activities get very tedious.
So, I understand I just let loose a big long complaint, and thanks for reading it... but I just thought I'd put what I found out there, to let you guys know before you buy. :) This game is fun. I got it for my 7 year old daughter and I'm 32 and we cant seem to figure out how to take care of the foal so it won't get sick. the directions are not very helpful and telling you how to get the baby horse to eat. Other than that the rest is fun. My granddaughter loved this game. She received the DS and the game for her birthday and played with it for hours. This was a good choice for an eight year old. My daughter just got this game for her 7th birthday and we are already frustrated with it! It is difficult to figure out the brushing (use brushes in order and push buttons on top of DS to turn horse around and get other side!) and it seems virtually impossible to keep the foal from getting sick! I am a vet who rode real horses for years and it is ridiculous that we can't keep this virtual creature happy! It's a good idea for horse-loving girls, but a little too complex and somewhat sad when your kid can't keep her foal from getting sick. The first time you wash your horse they show which order to go with the brushes. I do the orders but it won't let me finish brushing. I have to do each brush a certain amount by not getting all the dirt off, which is confusing. You also don't know when to switch brushes. The game is fun but the brushing is so difficult that I try to avoid it. Overall it a pretty fun game. Congratulations! You have been selected to join a prestigious academy where you learn to train horses to make them into champions! You get to take care of an adorable foal. You will experience a thrilling adventure together with students that are just as passionate about horse riding as you are. During the game you will have the chance to take trails and to take part in prestigious competitions. To be able to do this you must show that you have perfect control of your horse and that you have a thorough knowledge of the horse world. Surrounded by other pupils who will be both your friends and competitors you will have the privilege of being taught by talented teachers. Between lessons, in your free time and at competitions, you will soon realize that being a champion is not an easy life. Rerations < Petz Horsez 2 >

Atlus Video Games(2008-11-18)
Usually ships in 24 hours customer 's review (good game)
(Reluctant 3 Stars)
(Hilarious and Addicting--with a not overly complex system and fun tactical gameplay!)
(Another good game from atlus)
(A fun strategy RPG) This is a good tactical RPG. Not quite the level of Tactics Ogre or Final Fantasy tactics, but well worth the purchase. It seems simple at first but the difficulty does ramp up after a bit, so be prepared. This game is very difficult to review. I picked up the original Luminous Arc a couple years ago at an electronics store thinking it looked interesting and different enough to buy, and hoping on the off chance it was good; I was eager to get a strategy RPG for the DS at that time. Needless to say, I was unexpectedly surprised and thoroughly pleased by it. The English voice acting was some of the best I had ever seen in any game or anime.
Luminous Arc 2 continues in this vein. The characters are lovable, lively, and the voice acting is great, maintaining a sense of humor and parody that make Luminous Arc delightful, entertaining, and unique. I appreciated the fact that this game came with a soundtrack CD, which is short, but the tunes are respectable.
As a sequel, there are ups and downs. The gameplay is definitely better; I would call it a huge improvement. In terms of playability this game hits the nail on its head and refines the first game to an appreciably better system. Neither game is particularly challenging (more like SRPG-lite), but they are still fun, and this game even does a good job at tackling the rigid linearity of its predecessor. If you thought the first game was fun to play, you have to get this one.
While the gameplay is essentially better, the story line suffers a lot. The characters are little more than lame clones of those in the first game, except the characters in the first game were more lovable and charming. Both games are driven by the plot--actually playing the game is secondary to acting out the story and enjoying the characters and dialog. In this way, the first game was much better than the second hands down. If Luminous Arc had a great, unique story and cast, Luminous Arc 2 plays off as hacked and cheesy with more cliches and stereotypes thrown in (because the writers were incompetent or lazy), like a Disney straight-to-video, low budget sequel. One bad thing is that this game has too many characters, and they have awful dating-sim type personalities, not to mention their names are stupid. In sight of these blunders, the game still has that sense of humor I mentioned earlier as a saving grace.
If you had to pick between this game and the original, then get the original. Even though this one is the better -game-, neither manage to top their genre in gameplay and need to rely on their story value; the original Luminous Arc is the real masterpiece. If you're a strategy RPG gameplay junkie you'll want to get Fire Emblem anyway.
The final issue with this game is hypersexualization of the female characters. This was present in the first game but to a much lesser degree; this game unfortunately tips the scale too far, venturing into the realm of misogyny with its constant objectification of the female body. The biggest problem with this game is that the villain at the outset of this game is named Fatima and is dressed as a whore, which is an insult to the family of the Holy Prophet of Islam. If you can somehow manage to forgive these things, which were probably only done out of ignorance and naivety, the characters still have their nuances and personalities.
This is a game that deserves and wants to have 5 stars but just can't quite make it. There are too many things holding this game back, but I would sincerely look forward to a Luminous Arc 3. If you're a niche fan then you should definitely get it, but if you're a casual gamer then by all means skip it. I give it 3 stars because it's a worthy but flawed effort... it earns about as many stars as it loses. Perspective: I am a 40+ year old mom. I play video games to relax. Generally I prefer RPG and puzzle games. I do like tactical or strategy RPG if the pacing is good.
I loved this game! I thought the story was interesting. True it was kind of the same old-same old but that's o.k. as I like it! The characters are funny and sometimes over the top hilarious. Seriously. I laugh as much at some of the Luminous Arc games than I did when watching Friends and I love that TV show!
The gameplay is not overly complicated. This is not Final Fantasy Tactics--the level of customization and item availability does not match something at that level. I found the visual's to be very good. I like anime and I thought the battlefield, for the most part, was clear and you could see all your units well. You might be surprised that some tacticals just get a too jumbled view going and it makes it hard to position your people. The menu system is also excellent.
The game is not too short--clocking in at over 50 hours for completion including most of the side quests I made to stay at a good level. It has two save files but it can be hard to tell which one you are on when you go to save if you are not careful since it is color based and the palette just doesn't lend to distinction well (or didn't for us..my daughter actually overwrote my file when I was 50% in and she was just starting--that was pretty tough! The deal was she would get me back to the chapter I was on by double saving her game..so it all worked out in the end!)
If you like tacticals OR you want a tactical/strategy game that is turn and grid based to try I highly recomment this one. I think it provides a good starting point for the newcomer to the genre. I will grant it is a little on the teen humor side but even at 40 I still find that funny. I think the value on this for your dollar is very high and certainly worth a purchase! This is one of the better rpgs ive played for the ds, good story fair amount of voice acting and a good combat system and charater design I found this title has all the little fun and addictive traits of any good strategy role playing game, though it isn't as deep and involving as something like Final Fantasy Tactics or the uber-complex Disgaea games. The storyline is pretty average for a JRPG game, but it has enough going on to keep you interested and have a laugh or two. I had fun with this game, and it's a must have for any SRPG/anime fans out there. For most of the past four millennia, peace has reigned over the Kingdom of Carnava. The Magic Kingdom has flourished due to its close cooperation with the Witches of the Rev Magic Association and the ever-present usage of magic. Unfortunately, the era of peace has come to an end. Fatima, the Shadow Frost Witch, broke from the Magic Association three years ago and has attacked magic facilities across the kingdom ever since. This infighting, dubbed the Witch Conflict, has pushed Carnava to the brink of chaos. (Best???)
(Not worth your money)
(not what I thought)
(Another good brain twist) if you love I.Q. tests, training your brain and mental challenges these are the games for you This game for Nintendeo DS is by far the WORST. Do not waste you money on this one. It will get you attention for about 30 seconds at most. There are far better ones for the DS system, so go right by this one! Picked it up on a whim since I enjoy puzzles&brainteasers. However, certain things quickly became annoying:
-If you are incorrect, you are not told the right answer. -Many questions are repeated identically, particularly those involving patterns. This quickly grows dull. -The difficulty levels are inconsistant. Some "difficult" questions will be as simple as the "easy" level (if not the very same questions), others progress too quickly. Math questions rapidly become very difficult. -Variety was slim. Questions become more difficult with levels, but the question types don't change. Patterns for example involve cards, the alphabet, and a concentric circle shape. That's it.
The memory tests were the most interesting, although they also became repetitive. Plus since the questions rarely varied ("What order were these in?) it was easy to predict what to memorize for the picture.
If you are looking for challenging brainteasers, you will probably read too much into a lot of puzzle. For example, the 3x3 grid on the box cover. The answer is the red square, simply because the other two shapes have three pieces. It's disappointingly that simple.
I found very little fun with this game. Not thought provoking or intriguing, I recommend it if you find yourself stuck in a airport or extremely bored. There are far better memory/brainteaser/IQ games available. This game is good for kids or for right before bed when your brain is shot because it is so easy. Only one person can use it, and it doesn't give any kind of score. Don't buy it if you seriously want to know anything about your real IQ, but it's ok to just have some mindless fun. You got to love Nintendo for continuing to find ways to tests you're levels of frustration in a game. Hours of good mind frustrating fun. Logic, observation, memory, speed of perception and analysis: these are the qualities that define the famous Intelligence Quotient and the ones that Best of Tests DS will enable you to test, according to renowned scientific protocols. It will also allow you to improve them! Through the very many tests and using all of the functionalities specific to the Nintendo DS which are found in the three gaming modes: Training, Memory and Tests. (Wow, unexpected greatness!)
(Phenomenal - really fun -) NOTE: I downloaded this game from the Nintendo DSi store. The game is the same version, as the cartridge, in everything except for the number of leagues and number of teams.
This game has 4 game modes: Cup (competition for various trophies), League (season play), Exhibition, Penalty Kicks, and Training module.
The training module is an essential part of this game which gives you the skills to learn basic and advanced moves. You can even train your team without competitors.
A nice addition is the Custom Photo mode which can allow you to personalize your ball, flag, and face in the game.
Graphics and sound are very good for a handheld game. You hear the crowd cheer and sing, in addition to the sound effects of the officials.
Gameplay is robust with the ability to make substitutions, change formations, change the offensive and defensive levels of your team, match tactics and with the touch screen, you can tune up your formation in real time. Game control has a high learning curve and controls incorporate the directional pad, X, Y, A, B, L, R buttons and the touch screen.
There are many different leagues with over 100 teams. Each player has an in depth profile with every attribute rated on a 1-100 numerical score with his greatest strength highlighted in yellow.
This game would suit any soccer enthusiast. It is one of the most detailed soccer games that I have every played. Wow, I didn't expect this soccer game to be as good as it is! I've played EA's soccer game and I'm surprised to say that Real Soccer 2009 beats it in quite a few categories. Check this game out! Don't pass it up. Great gameplay - passing, shooting, crossing are all very smooth. Very good graphics. Realistic ball physics. And nice to have all the real teams, players, etc. Really fun to play. Feel as close as possible to being a real professional soccer player. Real Soccer 2009 is the definitive soccer title designed specifically for the Nintendo DS and its unique capabilities. The game offers a never-before-seen soccer experience with revolutionary yet accessible Touch Screen controls (e.g. fake opponents by drawing a circle to perform a roulette). It includes 198 teams using real players' names, dynamic AI opponents and 3D graphics that push the DS to the max. Real Soccer 2009 is the true benchmark that this platform deserves for soccer games. Take your best shot on the DS.

(Screen saver)
(I love this!!!)
(nice case, make sure to inspect yours for molding defects)
(perfectly adequate!) It's not a game it's a hard plastic protector to put your DS Lite in. Though it's nice we had thought it was supposed to be a clear vinyl protector but it stil works to keep my daughter from damaging her DS LIte when she accidentally drops it. This is a great item to help save the Nintendo DS Lite screen from getting full of scratches. It is really convenient that it comes in a multiple package as that helps to save money. Great product, reasonably priced. I had put really cool stickers on my DS, but they were falling off. Then I saw this clear protector. It's not even what I wanted, I thought it was silicon, not plastic. But my stickers stay on and I love them. Am satisfied with the design and protection of this case, but mine had a molding defect and will need to exchange it. The hinge area is a bit suspect but again, would buy this again. while this won't protect against a huge bang or fall, this case is durable enough to not change the size of the overall player and protect it from spills and light drops. Officially licensed by Nintendo. Protector for Nintendo DS Lite. Deatachable 1 piece easy attachment protective case that covers whole part of the system. Usually ships in 24 hours customer 's review (Lot's of fun mini games)
(Fun game) Game is really cute and fun. Easy&Medium level games. You will need to play in Storymode to unlock all the games and videos. There are approx 24 fairytale mini-games, which are totally addicting little games. After you unlock 24 games, you get an additional 4 games (there should be 28 mini games). The games are really easy, but not easy enough to get bored (there is hardly any reading involved - except just a quick note before each mini-game, explaining what you will need to do to win - the games are self explanitory). They are totally fun and this game will become a family classic (even my husband, who's a non gamer, loves this game-- my 5 year old showed him how to play it, now he wont put the game down). There are a lot of toss and throw games (the types of games that you would play at the real carnival or TownFair/StateFair, to win a big stuffed animal). Also, there are a lot of racing games too. My 5 year old and I both love this game. We have a hard time, putting down the DS once we start playing this game. A great way, just to pass time. Super awesome for kids between the ages of 5-12, if they like the carnival or fairytales (PS. We have not even seen a Shrek Movie yet, we bought the game because we wanted a ton of mini games, and the fairytales scene was a plus). Also, I wanted to point out that the visual are very nice and colorful, graphics are fun and vivid. Great Graphics, very entertaining. If you are a parent who is not big into video games, I'm sure you would like this game too. My kids and myself love this game. They have so much fun playing this game and it challenges them as well. The twisted fairytale humor of Shrek meets the fun of the renaissance midway as you play 28 hilarious carnival mini-games. Play as your favorite Shrek characters and compete to become the King or Queen of the carnival! Rerations < Shrek's Carnival Craze >
