(*BUY IT ALL FUN AND RELAXING PEOPLE!!!!!!*)
(Horrible game!!)
(Hefty mortgage.....but)
(Animal Crossing Wild World) My friend had the GameCube version when I was little ( I was like 4 now I am 9 and a half) I bought a DS (old version) and this was the first game I bought for my DS (It came with 2 games) I was thrilled to have this. You get to do a job for a guy named Tom Nook and you have to pay mortgage. He kind of owns the town because the money you pay goes to HIM and he own a shop that gets bigger each time you buy a lot. after you do the job it starts to get good you can wander around town and go to other towns (WI-FI connection) explore the town and dig stuff up, and look through a telescope and so much more.... Then it can get boring. You have done everything but it is still a DS classic and one of my favorite games ever. WOW. WHEN I FIRST GOT THIS I WAS AMAZED AT HOW MUCH FUN I HAD IN THIS SIMPLE LITTLE WRLD..... EACH ONE OF YOUR NEIGHBORS ARE EITHER COOL, FUNNY, WEIRD, RUDE, FREAKY, AND PATHETIC!!!!!( TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, THEY EACH HAVE THEIR OWN PERSONALITY!) THEY GOSSIP ABOUT EACH OTHER, HATE EACH OTHER AND SOMETIMES EVEN LIKE EACH OTHER...( ! ) YOU WRITE LETTERS TO THEM AND THEY WRITE BACK. IT'S SOOOOO CALM .... IT'S LIKE YOU'RE ACTUALLY THERE!!!!!!! OVERALL, I THINK IT'S A REALLY GREAT GAME. YOU WILL TOO!!! I got this game because lots of people say its fun.But its REALLY boring.I played it for 20 min. and i wanted a new game. I tryed to like it too! And also if you dont save it this mole thing comes up and starts calling you a loser and other mean things. I took it back and got My Baby Girl and i liked it ALOT better. a great game overall. Sometimes I will sit down and think..."I need to work on that mortgage." ahh.. so much like real life.
It's a really fun game with more complexities than I knew when I ordered it. I love it and do not regret ordering it one bit. It's become one of, if not the most, played of all my ds lite games.
I really recommend ..at some point consulting a guide so that you don't miss some of the neat things about it or how to make money...
It's a good and pretty open ended game. It's like visiting another place that you can just stay for a while and get your mind off of things. This would also be good for just about all ages. It's worth the money because it can be played year round and...as far as I have heard and can tell..it just goes on and on ...
Try it...I had tried Sims but didn't like it because I felt all I was doing was cleaning up messes, but this one is a lot more breezy and entertaining. Though I should probably try some of the new Sims to see what they are like. I should have explored it a little bit more before buying it. I have animal crossing city folk and did not realize that wild world was practically identical. Animal Crossing: Wild World takes you into a real-time virtual world where an entire village is waiting to be explored. Whether you want to decorate your home, catch bugs or fish, or just chat with the characters in your village, there's always something to do. Days and seasons pass in real time, and you can visit the villages of online players -- even if they're a thousand miles away. Rerations < Animal Crossing: Wild World >

(Good for Star Wars fans)
(what's the point if the stylus doesn't fit?)
(Fun for a Star Wars fan)
(non-stick stylus) "HEY!! LOOK! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!" I wish I had seen these negative reviews before I bought these. They're neat to look @&all, but my five year old son is 100x more likely to loose them considering how they don't even fit into the stylus slot on the DS Lite. LAME! This is a good product for Star Wars fans. However, the stylus does NOT fit in the stylus holder in the DS unit. I'm kicking myself - because there it is - on Amazon's page - these won't fit into the Nintendo DS stylus slot on the back. Wish I would have noticed that sooner - as cool looking as they are - I probably wouldn't have bought them.
I'm also a little miffed that the packaging says it's specifically made for the DS Lite - which clearly it is not.
What's the point of making a stylus like this if it doesn't fit? I can understand making a big "hard to loose" stylus - but it's like they got almost everything they needed to do to make it the right size - and then just cheaped out at the end (handle). They even went so far as to make a little nub that sticks up like a regular stylus - but it's not even close to where it needs to be to fit.
Perhaps they couldn't offer the level of detail they wanted if they made it fit into the stylus slot. However, I would have been happy if the stylus fit snugly into the opening - and then had a portion sticking out - that would have been fine.
As it is now, it's just waiting to get lost. And I definitely won't be buying this product again. My son loves Star Wars, and these were perfect for his DS. The only drawback is that they don't fit into the stylus slot on the DS, so they have to be stored separately. awesome idea....but the stylus DOES NOT STAY IN THE NINTENDO DS for storage when you're finished playing the game ? so after you're done...you have to try to keep track of the stylus !!! This pack includes 3 replica lightsaber stylus: 1 green Yoda, 1 red Darth Vader and 1 blue Jedi Knight, each with authentic detailing. Nintendo compliant for optimal game play. (Neat bundle!)
(Horrible)
(Assessories for Nintendo DS)
(Excellent and funtional product) Traveling to FL by car and needed a way to keep the DS charged and games in one place. This does it all and also includes a nice docking station for when we get home. Love the ear buds so instead of having competitions of whose DS can be louder, the adults can have peace on the road trip. For this price, more than a bargain. I really liked this bundle. I ordered it from amazon as I compared prices and found the same bundle more expensive at walmart (sorry walmart). I like the way the table-top charger illuminates when plugged in (you'll need an actual DS AC charger to do this; it's not included)! The screen protectors are always a nice save! As for the case itself, it's quite snug which I suppose isn't suppose to be a bad thing, but I would think I'm not supposed to struggle zipping the case closed with the DS inside. If it wasn't for the "tight" case, I would've given the bundle 5-stars! But if you're searching for a deal, this one is the way to go! The Nintendo DSI does not fit inside the case. The case broke the same day I got it. The desk charger doesn't come with a power adaptor. The screen protectors cover part of the screen so my daughter couldn't see parts of the game. DO NOT buy this product unless you don't mind wasting your hard earned money. I like having the charger 'stand', it even doubles as a night light;. The other items in the bundle will be good to use when going places. And I have already used the screen savers. Good buy Hi, I am from Venezuela, the product is excellent and very funtional,My daughter was very satisfied with the gift. In the shop amazon are very reliable, and the product Dreamgear is of very good quality,

Usually ships in 24 hours customer 's review (Not too bad at all!)
(Very good, solid game card game, with good racing!)
(Confusing and slightly insulting)
(Great game but lacking in spots.) Overall I thought the game was pretty good. I used to play actively about 4-5 years ago and figured I'd pick it up to see what's all changed in the over all metagame. I've got to say the structure of the game itself hasn't changed much but all of these new cards make yu-gi-oh a whole new battle field. I was surprised when a duelist whipped out a syncro monster on me since I had never seen it before, but being a quick learner like I am - it took some time (going from graveyard to graveyard reading what this card does and what that card does) to get back into it and become average at the game again.
It's just as the guy said a couple reviews below, the deck you start out with is pretty weak. The opponents you play have pretty much themed decks (be it one deck based off of umi, another deck based off of zombies, etc). I think I'd win 2 or 3 rounds of of 6 duels.
It's fairly easy to rake in DP (Duel-Points) when you first start out, because your winning new bonuses and getting 100 DP alone for that new bonus. The bonuses are obtained after a battle and could be anything from: -Decking your opponent out -Max Attack Bonus (Getting A Monsters Attack High by Effect/Equip Cards, Etc) -Exodia Finish Bonus -FINAL Finish Bonus -Etc...
My main advice for obtaining new cards is duel as much as possible and save up your DP, then go purchase all the packs in that specific set. There's 50 packs per set&your spending 150 DP, so you'll need 7500 DP per card pack (box per say). I started doing it this way because one guy had mentioned below that you get a lot of repeats on cards (which is true). If you buy the packs 50 at a time per set (Set being like Beginner Pack #1, Beginner Pack #2 respectively, etc), you'll obtain 90%+ of that specific set and you could move on to buying new sets of cards while getting your deck a lot better. Near the end of the game my deck mainly consisted of throw back cards (1900 4 Star Attackers like Spear Dragon, Archfiend Soldier, Mad Dog of Darkness, etc), these were obtained within the first set of packs offered in the game.
I was surprised when I was reading through the game and saw that there were 3 dueling styles : Normal, Speed Duel&Tag Duel. Being out of the game so long, I thought, "Oh crap - what's a speed duel?". To sum this up to any of the new comers, a speed duel is supposedly done on your motorcycle in the game (Your not operating the bike and dueling at the same time, your just dueling with a different background, seek youtube for example speed duels). Your given these things called speed counters, which are basically obtained each turn (they're incremented by 1). In order to use magic cards (spell cards, which they call "Speed Spell Cards"), they cost a specific amount of Speed Counters. I thought this was pretty interesting because each player wasn't able to use good spell cards until around the 8th or 10th turn, which if you had a deck of decent trap cards, could put you ahead of your opponent. Overall thought what I liked about Speed Duels were that it didn't have a limit on what speed spells could be use. For example Raigeki is banned from standard play, but in a Speed Duel you could use it at the cost of 12 Speed Counters - you can also have 3 Raigeki's in your deck - this is however the same with your opponent. What I found lame about Speed Duels were that you had a whole new different deck, along with a whole new different pack set for specific speed spells.
Initially, you have your stand alone spell cards such as heavy storm. The normal heavy storm card isn't allowed in a speed duel, if you want to use it you'll need the card "Speed Spell - Heavy Storm", which has to be obtained by purchasing the booster pack of Speed Spells. I didn't like the fact that your speed deck had to be a whole new different deck, this made me make use of the read recipe, delete recipe feature offered in this game, so whenever I was normal dueling or speed dueling, I could just use the same cards from my initial deck, in my speed deck (and then would just have to take out my normal spell cards). Overall though, I found the Speed Duels highly overrated and the decks of the players who you fight in Speed Duels pretty weak. Your actually at an advantage here because it costs to play spell cards, so take advantage of that!
The other two dueling styles are of course your normal and tag duels. My favorite was the tag duel offered in this game. You basically get to team up with a player in the game and go against 2 other players. This was interesting to me because when I played the game physically and we used to tag duel, we'd have our own monster, magic / trap fields and would have to wait til everyone made their first move (around the table), then we could start attacking, etc. In this game, you share the field with your partner so if your opponent starts out first and doesn't set a monster&it's your turn, you can attack directly. Being able to team up with a person from the game let me learn the strategy of that persons deck&have fun at the same time.
I had read a comment about how does the motorcycle have an affect on this game. Its basically for show, you have a motorcycle&have to get away from the police a few times, so they put you on a race track and you have to complete it in a given amount of time to get away successfully. It's pretty stand alone driving. Press A to Accelerate, Press B to slow down, use your D-Pad to navigate. The motorcycle doesn't play a huge part in the game it adds in for extra fun when your tired of dueling and want to race with it or something though. I went through the whole game without even upgrading parts so I wouldn't suggest you event waste your DP on it.
Overall though, I'd give this game an 8.5 out of 10. I appreciated the fact that it brought me back to the times when I used to play&introduced me to new styles of playing (the syncro scene&all). I picked up on alot. The -1.5 on the score I give it was because the overall campaign mode was way too short, lucky they give you a world championship mode where you can continue dueling and upgrading your deck though, so you'll have that to do after you beat the main mode. This is a solid Yu-Gi-Oh game, which sticks with the real cards, unlike many other games.
STORY: The beginning is standard...amnesia. You end up in the slums awoken by Rally. Rally helps you and eventually helps get a Duel Runner for you. That's the basic beginning, without many spoilers.
GAMEPLAY: The environment is 3D, which looks well on the DS. The character is controlled with the D-Pad and you can run by holding B. The options, including working on your Deck, are accessed by pushing X, which brings up a few choices: Deck Const., Options, and Exit, with Duel Runner appearing later. The Duel Runner works with the D-Pad, with A for gas and B for Brake. I usually let off of A to slow down, but maintain speed. The duels are a standard affair, comparable to playing the real card game. Only a few cards have 3D effects, and so far for me, they have all been high level monsters, which appear 3D when summoned.
DECK: The deck can be modified to suit your needs, with over 2,800 official cards (I don't have near that yet). You can have 40-60 cards within your main deck, which is plenty, since all of the people I have dueled have only had 40 cards exactly. The starter deck is pretty good, if you have enough patience to get the flow of it. I probably have a 75-85% win against the AI, which may make it seem easy, but it's definitely not. The AI makes good moves most of the time and it may seem you are about to lose, but you may just draw the card you need. I enjoy setting 1 of my 3 Mecha Bunnies (came with the starter deck) and allowing my enemy to flip it, revealing 500 points of damage for him/her and if sent to the Graveyard, the ability to search my deck for another Mecha Bunny and place it face down, defense position. This allows me to tribute summon later, even if the original is sitting in the Graveyard. You win DP (Duel Points = Money) by winning or losing duels. Winning nets much more DP. You can buy Booster Packs with the DP for 150 DP each, and I usually win 300-450 DP per duel that I win. Losing nets around 20 DP. Almost all of the 45-50 Booster Packs I have purchased have come with new cards, although repeats do come and probably will occur more often the more cards you have, which is just like real life. I endorse buying 1-5 Booster Packs at a time, so you can remember which ones you want to add to your deck (just bought 20 at one time...bad idea). Booster Packs contain 5 cards each.
DUELS: Straight forward. Main Phase 1 = Set/Play/Activate cards (Monster, Spell, Trap), Battle Phase = BATTLE!!!, Main Phase 2 = Same as #1, unless you already Normal Summoned a Monster (can't do that again...you silly), End Phase = End Turn. They range in difficulty depending on how your deck is setup, just like real life.
DUEL RUNNER: You can race it, buy parts for it, and duel on it. (Haven't done one yet...may get back to this section later)
UNLOCKABLES: You can unlock things (New costumes, Booster Packs, etc.) by defeating opponents a certain number of times, 5 I believe.
WI-FI: Yes, you can duel over the internet. (I need to try this myself...to engrossed in getting cards for my real life deck, ZOMBIES!!!)
This is an excellent edition to any game library, especially a Yu-Gi-Oh fan. Edit: I really wish Amazon would let us change the star ratings. After struggling with this for a few more days, I hate it even more, and I stand by my review below. Here are some additional things I hate.
1. You start out with a pretty lame starter deck, and everybody else has what I consider a reasonable deck (not too killer). So you're at a disadvantage right from the start.
2. By dueling, you earn Duel Points (like money you can use to buy new card packs). Losing a duel only earns you one DP for every turn that passed during the duel. Winning a duel has won me anywhere from 150-300 DP. But because the starter deck is weak, I lose A LOT. I've only won about 7 duels out of 30 or so.
3. If you want to add more cards to your deck, you go to the shop and spend the DP. A pack of 5 cards is 150 DP. Most of the time I get one or maybe 2 new cards in every pack of 5; the rest are repeats. I've bought about 16 new packs so far. In fact, I spent 600 DP of hard-earned cash on cards yesterday, so, 20 cards, and I got only one new one in that whole bunch. 19 repeats. A total waste of the DP.
4. If you have physical cards in your possession, you can key in the 8-digit code on the bottom left of the card in a special shopping area. We thought we'd be able to key in the codes from the decks we use at home and get those cards. Nope. Out of the first 12 cards I tried to do this way, I got a message saying "This card is not in the database." I finally found one that worked, and it said that it would cost me 600 DP(!!!!!) to buy this ONE CARD.
So, I really hate this game! It's TOO frustrating. Read below for my original review.
**
My son and I duel with Yu-Gi-Oh cards so I basically know what I'm doing, though we are not cutthroat and we play mostly for amusement. We decided to get the DS games so we could duel each other wirelessly, which sounded like fun but in practice it's really stupid compared to dueling in person (with cards) at the table. We pay much more attention to each other when we duel with cards.
Anyway, I have a minor problem with this game which is that all the non-friend characters are REALLY insulting! You ask them for a duel, and most of them brag about how you're going down (or whatever), but during the duel and afterward (if you lose) you get an eyeful of text about "You're so lame!" and similar things like that. I don't think people (kids OR adults) need to have that kind of commentary!
And then I have a major problem which is twofold. Some cards that I have are on the "Forbidden Cards" list. I try to add them to my deck and get an error. Fair enough, but then, why do so many of my opponents have these cards in their decks? The other prong of this complaint is that spell and trap cards have effects on them which sometimes don't work. A card that is supposed to put your cards into a "not affected by spell&trap cards" zone fails to do so, and the opponent's spell&trap cards continue to work.
Last issue is that the story mode duel play progresses VERY quickly. Let's say your opponent's up, and his play progression is draw - summon a monster - activate a spell card - attack you - your monster takes damage&goes to the graveyard - opponent ends his turn. This entire process (including the graphics of cards flipping, card effects taking place, attacks, and cards moving to graveyard) could be over in as few as 6 seconds. It progresses so quickly that I have no idea what some of his moves were, or the effects of his monsters or spells or traps. He draws, there's a flurry of screen activity, and then it's his End Phase. Sometimes my monsters vanish and I have no idea why; clearly as the effect of a spell or trap that I wasn't quick enough to read. I wish they could go more slowly.
But on the other hand it's very addicting. We started on the same day and of course my son is light years ahead of me. I don't know how he does it with the fairly lame cards in the starter deck. I keep finessing my deck and still am not able to beat half the people I meet. Oh well. I'll keep dueling. The major problem with making video games from a standing franchise or series is how to make it fresh and new. In the past Konami has put a good games year after year for the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise, but usually they were the same thing over and over again just with different sets of cards. This time around as usual, the game is pretty solid.
First off, it has the most extensive card database of any game in the past, which is a good thing. However, I'm still waiting on every card to be in a game. I know that sounds ridiculous at first but it really isn't something unimaginable.
Second, the game incorporates turbo dueling and flat out racing. To those unfamiliar with the new series, turbo dueling works slightly different than normal dueling. It incorporates speed counters and speed spells. Some are just rehashed versions of old spells and some are entirely new. It really does tend to change the game around, because spells tend to be less common and more of a big hit. I'm not going to any further details about turbo dueling but needless to say, its new and a refreshing change.
Third, the card pack system is almost, if not entirely, identical to the real life versions. In previous versions of the games, packs were usually devoted to a specific type or attribute. Now the cards are given in the way they are in real life, with a theme but not necessarily all the same suit so to speak.
Now for the bad. There are really only a couple things to complain about. First, its the same thing I mentioned previously, the lack of all the cards. It's pretty close if I'm not mistaken. I cannot find an exact number but I estimated myself and It was well over 3000. Second, the story mode is pretty short unlike previous iterations.
Overall its a good game and worth picking up, especially if you haven't gotten a Yu-Gi-Oh DS game or you are a diehard fan like me. (waste of my money)
(the movie "up")
(Absolutely wonderful game!)
(Very disappointed) My 7 yr old saved his allowance and decided on this game on a recommendation from the salesman at the video store. He loved it! He has already beat it, but said he would play it all over again. I wish some of these games would last a bit longer, especially for the money they cost! But all-in-all a good game for kids. This game is very disappointing, I never could get past the first section, my daughter and son in law both tried it ( they are game experts!) and finally gave up. I guess I will try it again sometime, but it is not fun and not user friendly, it doesn't do what it should and the characters response to commands is unreliable. I bought it for two grandchildren - 10 and 9 years old- they like it but said it was very difficult at first... I purchased this game for my 10 year old son (as well as my 11 year old daughter and myself, though so far my son is the only one to have played it); the game arrived several hours ago and my son not only had no problem beating the first level, he has already beaten the entire game, including the bonus level. By beating the bonus level he also gained the "Ultimate Cheat."
For anyone considering the purchase of this game I would strongly recommend it - my son had such a good time with it that I can't wait for my daughter to play it so I can have a crack at it! I was VERY disappointed in this game. I bought it for my 7 year old son because he loved the movie. We have spent several hours over the course of several days trying to get past the very beginning of level one and have never made it. He has finally just given up. Do not buy unless you are very patient or extraordinarily talented at video games! Journey through the undiscovered jungles of South America, in Up the video game. You can control Russell, Carl, Dug the talking dog and a female bird named Kevin, or you can play with a friend through the entire game. Aided by Russell¿s wilderness knowledge, the four characters must work together to navigate treacherous jungle terrain, combat exotic animals and avoid being captured. Each character has special abilities that help in their journey. During the game, you will explore exciting environments, overcome obstacles and battle beasts in an effort to stop Muntz from capturing Kevin.

 | Carl Carl Fredricksen is not your average hero. He's a retired balloon salesman, who is forced to leave the house he and his wife built together. But instead of moving into an old folks home, Carl takes action. He ties thousands of balloons to the roof, lifts the house into the air and sets off for South America, fulfilling the promise he made to his wife years before. However, Carl's plan is challenged by the discovery of a stowaway, the optimistic, overly eager Russell. Carl's journey tests more than his patience when the duo must survive the extreme weather, treacherous terrain, and strange inhabitants of a lost world - as well as each other. | | Russell Russell is an enthusiastic and persistent 8-year-old Junior Wilderness Explorer. Armed with a backpack laden with gear, he is ready for the wilderness. The problem is that he's never actually left the city. All his knowledge of the outdoors comes from books, and his sole camping experience was in his own living room. He's just one "Assisting the Elderly" badge shy of achieving his lifetime goal: Senior Wilderness Explorer. When he targets Carl Fredricksen as the elder he will assist, Russell ends up as an unwitting stowaway on Carl's porch when the house takes flight and finds himself on the true outdoor adventure he's been dreaming about. | | Kevin Named "Kevin" by Russell, this extremely rare, 13-foot-tall flightless bird is hidden from the world in its remote Paradise Falls habitat. Kevin is exceptionally fast and nimble despite its size. In fact, the massive bird often gets into some very curious and seemingly impossible positions. Very few know that this scientifically valuable creature exists, but Carl and Russell stumble upon the bird, which Russell names Kevin after he discovers they share a sweet tooth. Kevin and Russell bond instantly, and despite the bird's propensity to swallow Carl's walker, Kevin joins the jungle's most unlikely pack, along with Carl, Russell and Dug. | | Dug Dug is a lovable golden mutt living in the wilds of Paradise Falls as part of the dog pack searching for the rare, flightless bird. Like the rest of his pack, Dug is outfitted with a remarkable high-tech collar that translates his thoughts into speech. But Dug is mocked as the nerd of the pack. Sent into the jungle on a "special" mission, Dug accidentally succeeds when he discovers the bird following Carl and Russell. As they're pursued through the jungle by his own pack, the sweet, but simple-minded Dug must decide to which pack he actually belongs. |

(Perfect Gift!)
(My 4 year old plays non-stop.) Lego Batman is fun because the levels are tricky. When you beat all of the levels you can get Nightwing. My favorite levels are villain levels. The villain levels are really tricky. When you beat certain levels you get people for free!
Written by my 7 year old son. My son loved playing this game. He even let me try and I passed the first level! I made this purchase for my 6 year old son. He seems to really enjoy the game. I'm assuming there are a few difficult sections for he would get frustrated and quit playing. However he'd always go back to it in a day a two and seemed to get along further in the game. He's really enjoying it. The purchase was easy and the seller shipped quickly. Delivery was on time&the game is amazing! My 6 year old loves it! Thank you, Amazon! I bought this for my 4-year-old after he begged me for it. He plays for hours at a time. I have watched him over his shoulder and am amazed at how good he is at navigating through the game. Very good purchase. Holy Batman! All the villains from Arkham Asylum have escaped and it's up to Batman and Robin to stop them!! (Must have!!) What more can I say, bought 2 and they work just fine. Cheaper than OEM even w/ shipping. This is the same charger that came with the DS Lite originally. Ours was broken by our chihuahuas and we needed the same one again and this is it. I dont know how to review a charger but its a charger. Original from Nintendo and does what its meant to do....charge my DS Lite. This product works as advertised. The foldable AC prongs are great for packaging and transportability. (Very good starter kit)
(Not Perfect, But Worth It)
(DSI starter kit)
(Kit for DSi) If you travel a lot, the hard case feels very trustworthy. I like the headphones, the extra styluses, and it's nice to have the option of putting a game in a smaller plastic case to bring with you. Although it's likely you won't actually use most of the stuff in the kit. You will get all the necessary accessories in this kit for your DSi.. Good quality product overall.. Same price as I found at Fry's Electronic, but saved tax by purchased thru Amazon.. This is a 22 item set of 12 different products.
THE GOOD
- Screen Protectors (x2) - 5 Stars - The main reason why I bought the kit. The material is sturdy, and were sized nicely for each screen.
I however did not get a chance to really use them, because I wasn't careful enough in keeping dust and lint away while applying the bottom screen. Twice.
If I were to do it again, I would have made the attempt in the bathroom with the door and window shut (Away from pets, drafts, carpet, and dust). It's nice that they supply two sets for people who will actually learn from the first mistake.
- Lens Protector (x2) - 5 Stars - The package says it comes with one, but mine came with two. Made from the same material as the screen protectors. The first fit perfectly, but I managed to scratch it with my nails when trying to get out drop of water. The second one was slightly too large. But despite that, it's still very nice to have something protecting the lens.
- Earphones - 4 Stars - I don't expect much when it comes to headphones that come packaged in something like this. But not only did these work, they were very comfortable. More comfortable than some earphones I've purchased in the past.
- Docking Station - 5 Stars - Very elegantly designed. The DS stands straight up, hinge side down, conveniently leaving the headphone jack exposed if you want to listen to music while it's in the stand.
A centered, blue LED indicates if it's plugged in. (Adapter not included, so you'll most likely be use that came with the DSi). There is also a clear eject button on the right, which is rather unnecessary as it is easier to just pull it out.
If you don't use a permanent skin or shell on the DSi, this is a very nice place store it.
- Car Charger - 5 Stars - The cord is just under five feet, and it does what you expect.
THE BAD
- Travel Case - 3 Stars - The case has a sturdy feel, with the Icon logo in the lower right corner, a zipper, and climber's clip (The clip is already fraying the backpack-like loop that it's attached to). The inside has two elastic straps to hold the DSi, and the other half has a cargo net to hold accessories (The width fits three of the included game cases).
The problem with the case is that is a bit too tight. It holds down the shoulder button when the DSi is in place. I prefer the DSi System Wallet where you can easily slip it in and out. And after testing the case with my brother's DS Lite, I think the case is an excellent case for that system, rather than the DSi.
If you're looking for a great case, this certainly isn't the one I'd recommend, but the kit comes with a lot of other good accessories that can be stored in it.
- Wrist Strap - 1 Star - It the exact same wrist strap that you can buy for the Wii, but without the slider to tighten it. It makes sense in that the strap it too short to be tightened while playing the DSi... but without tightening it, if you drop the DSi, the strap will very likely not help.
I suppose if I wanted to go jogging while listening to music on it, it would be some help, but then I would prefer to also have the slider to tighten it.
Overall, it is a failure in design because it lacks design. It was meant for a Wiimote, and not the DSi.
THE NON-ESSENTIAL
- Stylus (x3) - 5 Stars - Each stylus is slightly larger than then ones that come with the DSi, and have a clear tip, rather than black. The default stylus feels loose when put away, these fit more snugly. The clear tip makes it easier to see, as some of the color from the screen passes through.
You're probably not buying the kit for extra styluses, but you'll appreciate having them.
- Thumb Stylus (x3) - 4 Stars - A useful alternative that may be superior to the normal stylus in certain games (such as Mario 64 and Metroid Hunters).
Since these aren't the most common product, and it costs a lot to get a single, but seemingly better designed, Thylus, it's nice that you get three.
- Audio Splitter - 5 Stars - It does what it's supposed to do. Don't need it, but can't complain.
- Game Case (x4) - 3 Stars - If you have nowhere else to keep your games, I suppose these could be useful. Each case fits one game and one SD card.
- Cleaning Cloth - 4 Stars - It's a cloth. It reminds me of the one that game with one of my old glasses case. And it's black, to match the DSi.
CONCLUSION
Considering that I'd be willing to pay $8 for the screen protectors alone, this Starter kit is definitely worth the price, unless you're primary need is for a good case for the DSi.
I bought this when I was buying my new DSi, and I find it very useful. It comes with a nice cradle that lights up when you are charging the dsi, different styluses, cleaning cloth, a travel case and screen protector. It is a one in all kit and I love it.
The pieces in the kit allowed my son to share his DSi games with a friend, to play in the car, the have no exterior noise bother him and to keep his DSi safe. Designed for the new DSi. The ICON 22-In-1 Deluxe Starter Kit includes four game cases to protect your game cartridges from dust and scratches, a pair of headphones to enjoy high-quality sounds, an audio splitter so you and your best friend can listen to music together, a car adapter to give you the power you need when you are on the road, a docking station to display and charge your DSi in fashion, four screen protectors to protect both of your DSi screens, a camera lens screen protector to protect your DSi camera lens, a soft protective travel case to protect your DSi, a wrist strap to carry your DSi anywhere, three replacement styluses and three finger-tip styluses to easily manage your DSi's communication features. Plus, a cleaning cloth to ensure visual clarity when gaming. Rerations < DSi 22-In-1 Deluxe Starter Kit Black >

(Like the Wii version)
("Stylus Trauma")
(Great fun if you like surgery and long storylines)
(Magical surgery and Anime sexism) This was a pretty fun game.
It's a little stressful at times because sometimes you're working against the clock and you have to do these motions in order.
I really like how it's super easy at first, so it lets you build up skills than it goes fast. Usually these types of games just throw you in the water. I purchased this game after playing the Wii version at a friend's house. I like the Wii much better b/c you can play with a friend, but this one is great for single player fun. The story line is way too long and drawn out, but the operations are fun and challenging. Trauma Center, this game is not for the faint of heart. During the beginning of the game you are literally operating on a patient. As the storyline continues the operations become harder. The storyline is very interesting and the levels of difficulty can make the game even harder. Be prepared to operate to save lives!
Pro's: -Dramatic/interesting storyline. -Sound effects of footsteps, gunshots, ambulance and character's reactions make this game more fun to read. -fast-forward through text -Can go back to any previous level and go straight to the operation. -Lengthy amount of episodes keeps this game from being too "short" -Use your stylus and your agility to keep under the clock! -Viruses play like Atari -Zap, stitch, drain, disinfect your way to victory.
Con's - Screen can be very sensitive to stylus input, especially when opening a patient. A line can be drawn exactly on the printed line and still count as being "off". -If you don't work quickly enough the game is prone to overload itself with "GUILT" infections. Game over! -If you loose one level you cannot advance until that level is completed. -Levels can be unforgiving and become frustrating.
This game is fast-paced action. You must keep on your toes in order to succeed to the next level. The storyline is as dramatic as the surgeries. Recommend for anyone who wants to play a more "synthetic" surgery game but with action!
I bought this game around a month ago and I have to say that it's one of the best game related purchases I've ever made. My only problem with this game is that it has such a long build up before each surgery that you're almost asleep before the action even starts. The gameplay rocks but as you probably are guessing this game is in no way an accurate simulation of real surgery by any means. So, if you love to cut people open but don't have an M.D. and you don't mind boring buildup the this is most definitely the game for you. An odd mix of surgery, anime-style drama (lots of it, and it drags on) and odd magical interventions. Some surgeries require timely drawing of a pentagram on the surgical site for success - not sure which satan-worshiper (just kidding) decided that this is how surgery works, but it is a long way from reality. Another odd and disconcerting part is the relentless sexism and fawning big-eyed and big-breasted females - not sure what they are trying to teach here, but it is not surgery. Very odd that the nurses always know what needs to be done, yet are constantly fawning and deferential - maybe that is a Japanese/anime culture thing. Mixed in with the extended slow dialogue, it got very irritating. Throw in the magical surgery, the bizarre idea that surgeons would somehow be fighting infectious diseases, and the quirky uses of antibiotics and special serum, and it does not work overall. Maybe if you really like anime style drama. Just not for me. Dramatic fast-paced medical action on the go! Guilt is no more. Dr. Derek Stiles and Nurse Angie Thompson faced humanity's greatest threat and triumphed. Now, in the aftermath, they find themselves in unknown territory, forced to deal with the disastrous consequences of the killer virus. Join them as they scramble to address questions left unanswered and put an end to the mystery behind the disease.

customer 's review (Not for young kids)
(Great game for all ages)
(Addictive)
(addicting if you like bejeweled)
(7 wounders my grandson andI play 7wounders together The matching parts help with his memorie) I bought this for my 8 year old, mistake. I tried it and it was ok but overall I was disappointed. The description makes it sound like an adventure game which it is not. I actually bought two copies of this game. One for my parents who each just got a DS this year and a copy for my kids and I to share. We all love to take turns playing 7 Wonders. The little bit of history on each of the Wonders is an added bonus. If you like Bejeweled, you will love 7 Wonders! This is the kind of game you can play for hours or simply pick up for a few min while waiting for an appointment or riding the train. The gameplay is simple and intuitive, I love the little bits of history and have not been able to put this one down for long. Liked this game and could'nt stop playing. If you liked bejewled you'll like this game.Has very cute characters on the screen graphics are good too.has 8 levels with about 5 sub levels to them.Buuut just wish it had alot more like bejewled does..But guess you can test your skills over and over..Am on a second round and it told me the levels would be a little harder so far they dont seem to be alot different on the start.. I like it altho some dont like the match 3 type games.Speed and eye sight is the key.It is timed but does'nt show you a timer so you can see what you have left."Sooo, ya gotta work as fast as you can to eliminate all the bricks..Ya i'd recommend it". I found 7 wonders a fun game I like the emotions the workers have I find the buildings fun to watch the changes as we complete the stages of the game. I can not wait till I can get the second one My grandson sits in my lap and we spend time together matching the game pieces. Winning the game gives us a seance of accomplishment . Seven Wonders lets you journey where no one alive has ever gone before. Travel to the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and trek through the Mediterranean islands to behold the glory of ancient Greece. You have to build the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. Time is short and the journey is filled with peril. You must match three same-colored magical rune coins to supply your workers with the building stones needed to create the Seven Wonders. Rerations < 7 Wonders of the Ancient World >
