(Great Variety!)
(Decent games, poor design)
(Club House Games is worth having)
(Welcome to hours of fun) Games are quick, cleanly presented, and fun. Only 5 games have to be unlocked, but it is easy to do so. The share feature is nice because you can send any game to another DS as a present, that way they can play it without being connected to yours (stays on their system until they turn it off). Just beware, there is no way to play games with another person using only one DS. This game would be perfect if you could pass around the DS and take turns bowling, but you can't! Still a great game to add to your collection and have with you at all times. I think this game is by far the best card/board game out there on Nintedo DS. Alot of fun and a large variety of games that you won't get bored after a week. I prefer it much better to Touchmaster. If you're into card games, board games, bowling, so on, this is a great game to get to entertain you for hours. Some of these games are a good deal of fun, there are simple bowling, darts, and other games, and a good number of card games. Forty games will give you some things you like. Clubhouse Games will definitely kill many hours for you. However, the AI for the card games is nothing to write home about, and some games cannot be played at all until you get to them in "Stamp" mode.
Ah, Stamp Mode. Stamp is a sort of career mode, in which you must play pre-selected games in order. Winning gets you past a game, lose and you have to play two or three times. You start with games you played as a three year old, and move on to the ones which can kill hours for you all by yourself. Old Maid is merely pointless, the skill in real life of deducing where your friend is holding the Maid can't be recreated on a DS. But these can be got through if you just play for a while. Then there is "I Doubt It". The game is not only pointless, it goes on forever. It's like War, only more annoying. Plus, eventually, War ends! I Doubt It isn't the War and Peace of card games, it's the In Search of the Remembrance of Lost Time of card games.
So odds are you won't be playing the games you access through Stamp Mode. Career mode is is usually a good game extender, here it's pointless. A Pogo-like career (with game choices) would have made the lesser games interesting. Maybe you will enjoy "Stamp".
I Doubt It. This is a nice easy game to have, and especially nice to play games with others without getting out all the cards and boards. Think of the storage space you can free up! I agree with all the other reviews, and do wonder why some games are locked. It is forcing me to play them all, but then again, why?
Club House games is a great little DS game. In the one game there are plenty of games to keep you occupied and playing for hours. Play locally with one game card or go online and play with friends or strangers. Really the single player experience here will work whether you're commuting on the bus or just lying on your couch at home bored. There are 42 games in this purchase, you can't go wrong and you'll be playing it over and over with plenty of replay value. Great for those nights that you can't sleep! Clubhouse Games is a great new collection of casual entertainment titles for the DS. Challenge up to seven friends with one game card via Multi-Card Play or DS Download Play. Can't play checkers without shouting "KING ME!" across the table? The in-game (PictoChat-like) feature takes table talk to a new level. Games include: Pig Hearts President Rummy Seven Bridge Black Jack Five Card Draw Texas Hold 'Em Nap Spades Contract Bridge Solitaire Mahjong Solitaire Escape Grid Attack Hasami Shogi Connect Five Dots and Boxes Turncoat Checkers Chinese Checkers Backgammon Chess Shogi Field Tactics Ludo Dominoes Word Balloon Soda Shake Koi-Koi Bowling Darts Billiards Balance Takeover Rerations < Clubhouse Games >

(Great Game) This game is very fun. It has good mini-games, tons of characters and great levels. Highly recommend. fun to play good: play as darth vader , luke , anakin , darth maul , count dukoo , obi wan jedi master , obi wan episode 3 and obi wan episode 1 and alot more guys I ordered this for my 8 year old sons' Nintendo DS. Here is the review in his words: It's freakin' amazing! Everyone in the whole entire world should have this game!! It is SWEET and my favorite level is Jabba's Palace. this was an easy game to get in to and very fun to play for hours! Lego Star Wars: The Complete SagaI bought this game for my grandson and it is now one of his favorites! Building on the success of both Lego Star Wars videogames, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga enables families to play through the events of all six Star Wars movies in one videogame for the first time ever. Developer Traveller's Tales has created an entirely new Nintendo DS version, developed brick by brick from the ground up, while also adding new characters, new levels and new features. The upgraded Character Customizer includes all Prequel Trilogy characters for the first time, while also expanding its customization options well beyond those in Lego Star Wars II, for millions more possibilities. Create cross-Trilogy mash-up characters like Han Windu and Lando Amidala. New game features include enhanced Force powers, new power-ups, and a new Challenge Mode. Levels from the original Lego Star Wars are revamped to meet the gameplay evolutions of Lego Star Wars II. ESRB Rated E10 for gamers aged 10 and up. Rerations < Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga >

(Best Pokemon Game Ever!)
(zz)
(Pokemon Rules) I got this game a year ago. While it only took me about a week to beat the Elite Four and become the champion of Sinnoh, I continued to play the game for months afterward.
A high school senior at the time, I played my cartridge of Pokemon Pearl for (according to the game log) almost 400 hours. There's a TON to do in this game and it kept me busy and interested for all the 380+ hours I spent playing it.
There are many, many different aspects to this game. As your ambitious pokemon trainer travels and trains their pokemon to be strong, they also meet and battle new and different trainers whose pokemon get stronger and harder to battle. All while challenging gym leaders, participating in super contests and thwarting the evil plans of Team Galactic.
The game play seldom gets stale and there's always more pokemon to find and capture. One of the most rewarding aspects of the game is filling up your pokedex with all the species of pokemon you've caught.
Pokemon games were fun for me when I started to play them when I was 8 and they're still fun for me at 18. I bought my daughter the nintendo ds lite with the pokemon diamond version, unfortunately, not to many people in our country share the pasion for potable video games, so i bought a nintendo ds lite and pokemon pearl for me, now we sare at least 2 hours a day of game play, and she has never been so happy. I recommend parents to do the same, let your child take you to their world and learn about pokemon, you wont regret it. Now, I know what you will be thinking, I am thinking like Hannah Montana is better than Even Stevens, Kim Possible, and Rugrats. And that I don't understand "traditional" games like Ocarina of Time and Pokemon Red. I'm 18, I was in that generation. However, I can't help but say that this game is truly amazing.
The graphics are amazingly intense. I couldn't think you could make a better game than Pokemon Red/Blue/Gold/Silver. However the additional features, including the Global Trading, are what makes this game amazing! I like the Team Galactic story doesn't focus on Team Rocket or anything too unoriginal.
Then when I'm done, I can go to the other games, with the same DS with the GBA Slot, and expand on my 450 pokemon national dex. There was also the extra features after you beat the game to continue the story and then get even more legendary pokemon, that was amazing.
Overall, I hate to say it, but this game is the best generation game. 5 out of 5. Please be careful with this seller. My credit account was charged the day I put the order in. Now it has already been a month and my game have never come. I love this game. You get to battle a ton of pokemon and fill your pokedex. The hardest part was beating the snowpoint gym leader. This game has kept me busy for over a 1 month and I have not even beat all the gym leaders. I recommend buying the guide book to help you navigate through the Sinnoh region. I think this game is good for ages 4 to 10. Pokémon Pearl takes you into the new Sinnoh region, where two unique Pokemon are symbols. The Dialga and Palkia appear in myths and old folklore; legends say they can control space and time. The sinister organization called Team Galaxy is trying to rule the region by capturing and training thes Pokemon. During your adventure to complete your Pokedex and become Champion, these Pokemon&Team Galaxy will intertwine into the story and lead you on a fantastic journey across the Sinnoh region. Pokemon Pearlis a traditional Pokemon RPG that takes place in a region called Sinnoh.
In the Sinnoh region, there are two Pokemon that symbolize the region. They appear in the Sinnoh reigon's myths and old folklore. One is called Dialga, and is said to have the power to control time. The other is called Palkia, who is said to have the ability to distort space. The sinister organization called Team Galaxy is trying to rule the region by utilizing these two Pokemon's power. During your adventure to complete your Pokedex and become the Champion, these two Pokemon, and Team Galaxy, will intertwine into the story and lead you on a fantastic journey across the Sinnoh region.
When you set off on your travels, you'll be able to play as either a boy or girl Trainer. You will also utilize the DS's dual slots to transfer Pokemon from the GBA Pokemon games and be able to link up withPokemon Rangerto access more special content. Pokemon fans have caught glimpses of Mime Jr., Lucario, Munchlax and Weavile in Pokemon movies, and these Pokemon will be debuting in this adventure. Rerations < Pokemon Pearl >

(Loveed the game! Soo fun!)
(Awful)
(Yes, I know I'm better than Mama, you don't need to tell me so often) You have to pick from a choice of about 20 recipes at first, then after you beat a recipe you unlock another one. My 11 year old loved it! I even played once in a while with her. Something about it that isn't very good, is that you beat the whole game in about a few months. And it kind of gets boring after you make the same recipe over and over again. But overall this game was pretty good well worth it... It lets you cook, chop, stir, knead. It teaches you everything about cooking and its fun preparing stuff. You can also get help when you do not do something right. This game is really fun for all ages. I enjoy it very much and it's fun to challenge people and play it whenever! If you enjoy real games, don't waste your time with this shuvelware. This is a game for"Casual Gamers" or children. I literally did all I could the first couple of days after getting this game. I overplayed it. And now I'm running the risk of doing it again with the second one.
I must admit I'm not much of a cook in real life, but this was actually quite fun. I liked chopping, but I find peeling so much easier in real life. And I didn't cry whenever I cut the onions. There are some aspects of the game I struggled with. It's very repetitive. I hated doing the boiling/frying/grilling segments of the game. And I mostly got bronze or silver for the dishes I managed to do. I got a couple of golds (sandwich and something else!) which I was proud of. And I did tend to swear at it quite a lot, which was funny to everyone else sitting around me at times, when I didn't realise I was doing it. And I got some strange looks blowing into the microphone on the bus.
If you're mostly rubbish at some of the dishes (understatement), you will find you can't really advance to bigger dishes, and it does get frustrating making the same dish over and over. So I eventually gave up. The practising bit was useless, I never really bothered with it, but I did like the skills section, where you could practise your skills - only to find out you were really hopeless.
I have started playing Cooking Mama 2 and have found some differences. But then I did complete about 8 dishes in half an hour - so I wonder how much longer it will last? Cooking Mama makes you into a budding chef seeking out new recipes. Prepare foods then combine raw ingredients together as you cook them on the stove. Follow real recipes or experiment with your own combinations to create a culinary masterpiece with your stylus. Let's get cooking, mama! Earn bronze, silver and gold medals based on the quality of your cooking Practice mode lets you finetune your cooking skills without being judged Share recipes with up to 4 other people or transfer a saved game to a friend via the DS wireless link Rerations < Cooking Mama >

customer 's review (Use The Force Nintendo DS) All in all, the Nintendo DS has definitely been the most definitive handheld video game system we've seen on the market in years, and still is selling even stronger than ever. But, one thing that keeps delivering, is that Nintendo knows how to make the system custom-made for the hard core fans. But that also is shown for Star Wars fans too, with the new Star Wars Lightsaber stylus pens. These unique stylus pens appeal well for hard core Star Wars buffs, but also to celebrate the release of Star Wars: The Clone Wars for the Nintendo DS. Sadly, there is one unfortunate dissapointment. I was dissapointed that you can't put these lightsaber pens into your DS Lite holder, whenever you bring you Nintendo DS or DS Lite on the go. Instead, you'd have to bring these Star Wars delights in a DS carrying case with you. Still, they are a fantastic buy for Nintendo DS fans that still say, may the force be with you.

(All the classics in one!!)
(Great for the kids in a long car ride) I had a lot of fun playing this game. It is excellent for young children as well. Games are alot of fun. My nephew plays them all the time, he can't put them down This game is another 4 ib 1 DS game of the 3 I already own,I would say that it is very good for a traveling game because you don't have the mess that comes along w/ board games, also it is in a compact lil disc so it isn't bulky and a room hogger like 4 board games would be,I like battle ship and connect 4 but found Sorry and Trouble to last way to long,I mean ubless I'm traveling in a car from Maine to Florida this wouldn't be my game choice, but then again it is good to have 4 games for the price of 1 I am a HUGE board game fan!!! I'm always begging people to play with me. NO MORE... I can now play the classics by myself! Great for on the go... or in the car! Worth the $20!!
The only down side is the computer keeps winning!! To the point I'm wondering if its slightly rigged! But I still have a blast playing. Maybe when I ever win it will be that much more exciting! As opposed to always beating my kids at home! hahaha
My kids spent a good solid hour in the car playing these games. Well worth the $$. Sorry!:It's been supercharged to take advantage of its power! The goal is the same: Be the first player to move all four pawns around the game board.Trouble:The classic race-and-chase game where you get out your aggression - without shin guards and helmets! Hop your pegs around the track, landing on your opponent's peg and bumping it back home. Keep hoppin' and poppin' to get all your pegs to the finish line first.Connect 4:The original four-in-a-row checkers game. Get four in a row while dropping checkers into place, while blocking your opponent's attempts to do the same. Horizontal, vertical, diagonal -- it's up to you!Battleship:First there was a pencil and Paper game. Then came the board game version. Now the fun of Battleship has been brought to the GBA! Be the first to sink all 5 of your opponents' ships before they sink yours. One-player and Two-player modes. Rerations < Battleship/Connect 4/Sorry/Trouble >
