(Nintendogs is fun) (Great game!) (fun game!!) (GF loves it) I saw this game at Zellers and decited to buy it. I am not alowed to get my own puppy so I thought this would e a good game. I am glad I bought it! This game is Awsome! You can feed, water, dress, play,and walk your dog! Taking your dog for a walk is fun. You can meet other puppies and get presents and the ones you get and you already have you can sell them at the secondhand shop. Your puppy's stanima grows by the distance you take your puppy for. There is trainer points. If you get a surten number of points then you can buy a new breed of dog or get a new decoration for your room. In bark mode you can pick a dog and pick an item to give to a trainer you meet. If you don't have that breed of dog in the kennel that the trainer has afterwards you can get them. At the pet supply you can buy things for your pup(s) like food, water, and toys. If you want another puppy but don't have room for one you can take one dog to the dog hotel or if there are already five dogs there you can donate a puppy. You can take your puppies to contests. There are three different contests to choose from. The disc competition is where you throw a disc and your puppy trys to catch it. The longer you throw and your pup catches the more points you get. A jump catch gives you more points. The agility trial is when your puppy jumps of hurdles, goes through tunnels, goes on seasaws, and goes through poles ( you have to go to the practise training arena first before entering that contest by walking your puppy). The obedience trial is when the ds tells you certain tricks and you have to make your puppy do them ( the books tell you the tricks your puppy needs to know before entering the contest. While you are at the go out menu you can see your friend list, trainer accommplishments, trainer info, and change system setting by clicking on info. In the bottom left corner you can see how much money you have. There are lots of different tricks but your puppy can only know fourteen. Otherwise you have make your puppy forget a trick before teaching he/her another trick. Hope this review helped make you desion. Here is a review from my 10 year-old daughter: What I like about Nintendogs is that you get your own dog and you are responsible for it. You have to feed it, take it for walks, and bath it. The dogs are really cute. With trainer points you can get more types of dogs. The competitions allow you to earn more money for your pups. My dislikes are that you can't have more than 3 puppies in your house but you can have more at the dog hotel. Also I wish that you could do competitions more than 3 times a day and you could go on walks more often. Some tips I have is when you are talking to your dog, talk loud and don't put the microphone too close to your mouth or you will sound fuzzy and the dog won't understand you. Before you get a new dog always read its description first. Overall I think this is a very cool, exciting, and fun game. So if you like dogs this video game is for you. PS: When you take your dog for a walk, make sure you click on its poop to clean it up. I love this game! I got it for my first game and I believe that it made other games less complecated for me. My friend has the same game and she loves it too! I'm 10 and I believe i could play my heart out to this game. If you have douts I would just take them away. Any dog lover would just love this game, even if your not a dog lover I would STILL recomend this game to you! I paid $10 for this masterful game at a local pawn shop and I don't loath buying it for these good reasons.... 1) it doesn't run on real-time(thank you EA!!!),the reason this is good is unlike most kids I don't get to play my DS lite every day(I only on the weekends)so i don't have to worry about missing anything in the game during the weekdays. 2) the world in mysims is allot bigger the in AC:WW which makes it allot to explore and discover(side note; with WI-FI AC:WW is allot bigger,maybe, I don't have a WI-FI usb connector,a wireless-G router,or even a computer with internet access of my own)(i'm using my moms/the stores computer to write reviews). 3)And finally mysims has a generous amount of mini-games(like a tennis type game,paragliding (my personal favorite),and a couple other fun mini games . When MySims DS was released, I was attracted to the cute graphics. I now prefer MySims to AC:WW. The gameplay is deceptively simple in the beginning, but as the game advances, the tasks become more complex. Your task is to restore a vacation spot to its former glory. To that end, you will meet and assist : the mayor, her son, a police officer, several shop keepers (florist, general store manager, tailor, baker, furniture maker), a fisherman, a ship captain, three park rangers, casino workers, a pilot, and an aristocrat. As you meet and assist these residents, mini games are unlocked (racketball, 3 locations; paragliding, 2 locations; making leis, casino games, fishing, 4 locations; scuba diving, and skydiving. These mini games are fun, but Scuba Diving (Star Level 4) and Sky Diving (Star Level 5) take a great deal of time to unlock. I found the graphics, the mini games, and the evolving character storylines to be captivating. I also found the tasks (like filling the fish book) to be somewhat challenging. This game seems simple, but the first impression is deceptive. There is more to MySims DS than meets the eye. Explore a new world with MySims?it's your world to transform! Move to a town that has been struggling lately. With a little creativity and some help from the locals, you can make this place thrive. (Noun, verb, adjective?) (fun game, not well edited) I bought this game for my 7 year old son only to find out its fun for every one. It has 100 levels of spelling challenges. There are also challenges on what is a noun, adjective, verb etc. Its a great game. When I bought this game, it's intended for my child but when I started to play with it, come to find out, it's intended for an older kid. I think it's too advanced for the age of my child but it is worth the challenge! My 7 year old isn't much into this game. I love it and I'm 45! I think this game is perfect for 12 and up, particularly for anyone who loves to spell and be challenged. The spelling is not challenging for me but there is an area for parts of speech that one must achieve in order to advance in level. I've only played this game for an hour or so and am at level 57. I like the game but I am not totally challenged by it. It's been a long time since I took grammar in school. Some of the games here are definitely more fun than others, but as a whole it is entertaining. I don't particularly like the spelling bee portion, it is strange that it pops up the correct spelling and you just parrot it back. I prefer the spelling bee in Word Coach, where the game speaks the word and you have to spell it. I would also prefer if definitions were provided, particularly for words that you get wrong. I could also do without the scoring being transferred to a monetary prize. Negatives aside. this is a perfect game if you have short periods of time to kill. This is a fun game that my kids enjoy playing. There are a variety of games and 100 levels. Unfortunately, I have found that there are some words misspelled. One example is a middle eastern bread that the game spells "pitta." I looked it up in a dictionary at home and on line, and a "pitta" is a bird, but "pita" is a middle eastern bread.
