(Sad.)

(Loads of fun for all ages!)

(One of Nintendo's best ideas yet)

(Great Fun for the Whole Family)

(lots of fun!)
Really,it is sad.Ok first off the game is way to hard. You can be in 1st and then the COM will hit you with a red shell and you will be in 7th,literlay.Next theres no free for all battle, why the heck couldnt NINTENDO put that in its stupid. After that the Wii wheel is not easy to use,its not stable.I used my classic controller and the game itself is frustrating.I dont know, thats just my opinion. If you want a raceing game for Wii then get it.But if you want a mario kart game and you have a DS mario kart ds is a much better choice {unless you already have it}.If your looking for good Wii games in general theres lots of choices other than this.My favorites are Smash Bros Brawl,Zelda, and Warioware.Anyhow hope you find what your looking for.
While not the best thing to look at in the graphics department (especially during multiplayer races), this game manages to be extremely fun. The control scheme(s) are great, and while I am better when using the Wiimote/nunchuch scheme, I find myself wanting to use the Wii Wheel most often because it adds to the fun. The bottom line here is that everyone can enjoy this game, and the multiplayer never gets old. The best thing I can say about this game is that I will be playing it for as long as I own a Wii. A definite must buy for the Wii.
First of all, I give this game 5 stars because of the overall fun and playability level. You can play other people around the world in battles and races. We have probably spent more time playing this game than any other Nintendo game with the exception of Mario Kart for the N64. I love the "wheel" concept although you don't need a wheel to play. I have a couple complaints: the power ups are kind of lame compared to all of the other Mario Kart games. They are also harder to get it seems. My other complaint is that you can be in first place and end up in near-to-last place in about 3 seconds, it seems you have little control of this. It is almost a fluke if you win, whereas in other Mario Karts it was more directly tied to your skill level. Overall, it is so fun to battle and race people from other countries that I love this game. Sometimes you will be racing people from the UK, the US, France, Japan, and Australia all at once. SO fun! I hope Nintendo comes out with more games like this!
Simply put, my wife and I get a kick out of the game, and our 3.5 year old son loves it. We don't really play for points, or winning anything, just mainly to have fun. And this game comes through in spades in that department. The controls are easy, which makes the game playable and fun even for younger kids. It is a must-own for the Wii in my opinion.
This game was a lot of fun and easy to figure out. I love that you can play on your own, or with up to four people and all four people are playing at the same time, as opposed to taking turns. Your characters are interactive with each other if you want them to be. So my opponent gets ahead of me, I can fling a turtle at him and temporarily wipe him out ... if I am armed at the time. Lots of fun.
Start your engines and race with Mario and his friends with their finely tuned racing machines in Mario Kart Wii. Use 3 different control styles with the Wii Wheel included in the box. The worldwide race is on with a whole new set of tricks, tracks, and ways to play. Mario Kart Wii draws on courses and battle arenas from every game in the series - not to mention tons of new ones. The true king of the Mushroom Kingdom racing circuits will finally be crowned. Experience new tracks, enhanced Wii graphics, extraordinary gameplay and much more. Place first in Grand Prix circuits or clear skill-based missions to open up increasingly difficult and thrilling circuits. You can have multiplayer races on any open courses or battle in arenas. Now you can feel like you are Mario and steering to avoid obstacles and doing incredible stunts.

Special Powers/Weapons/Moves/Features - Shake the Wii Remote to pull off a trick that will temporarily boost your speed. When riding a bike, gain additional speed by flicking the Wii Remote up and popping a wheelie Up to 12 people via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection or up to 10 people via Wi-Fi Connection with 2 people playing locally

(Wii remote, good choice)

(The Wii Remote Controller - wireless technology at its best)

(WII for Adults)

(Control)

(Somewhat Useful)
ENG: Original accesories, the best quality.

SPA: Accesorio original, la mejor calidad.

I love my Wii remote controllers. I have three of them. The first two came with my Wii, and the third came with my Wii Play.

As far as batteries are concerned, rechargeable batteries are good. The charge station from Nyko is better.

Have a look at the photo of the product on this page. See the clear plastic case the remote is in? That's known as a remote jacket. You can order those, as well as replacement straps, on the nintendo website. Both can be had for free.

On a whole, the Wii remote controller outranks the controllers from Nintendo Entertainment System and Super Nintendo Entertainment System many times over.

The additional wand works great. You must syncronize the wand to the controller before you can use it. I finally had to read the instructions. After this it worked just fine!
I think these things are way to expensive, but they sure are worth it. I love sitting back on my butt where ever and having a fun time without any restrictions.
The Wiimote is somewhat useful, except for Smash Brothers. Then it is a suitable handicap for professional and semi-pro players vs. casual players.
The Wii Remote Controller makes gaming as accessible to people of all ages and all abilities. Nintendo fused the familiarity of a remote control with the sophistication of motion-sensing technology -- creating a multifunctional device limited only by the imagination. In a tennis game, it serves as your racket you swing with your arm. In a driving game, it serves as your steering wheel. For first-person shooters, the remote acts as your weapon that you point at an enemy. The list of potential uses goes on and on.

To make gaming as accessible to people of all ages and all abilities, Nintendo wanted to create a controller that was as inviting as it was sophisticated- the result is the Wii Remote. Nintendo fused the global familiarity of a remote control with the sophistication of motion-sensing technology to come up with an input device that differentiates the Wii from any other console that has come before it.

Revolutionary control
Sporting the dimensions of a small traditional remote control, the wireless Wii Remote is a multifunctional device that is limited only by the game designer's imagination. The magic of the Wii Remote's design lies within; acellerometers inside the controller body measure movement in all directions and at all speeds. In a tennis game, it serves as your racket as you swing your arm for a long forehand or a quick and hard backhand. In a 4x4 driving game it serves as a steering wheel, allowing you to swerve to avoid obstacles or pickup power-ups. In first-person shooters, the Wii Remote acts as a firearm that you can point directly at an on-screen enemy. The list of potential uses is enormous, and the light weight of the Wii Remote allows gamers to play for hours without feeling fatigued.

The Wii Remote boasts impressive technology for such a compact package.

The motion sensing technology is neatly tucked away within the Wii Remote body.View larger.

The remote feels comfortable in both right and left hands. View larger.

As comfortable as it is functional

The Wii Remote is equally comfortable in right and left hands and houses just the right number of buttons for gaming- not so many that new players will get confused, but enough so that Wii games don't feel constrained. On the face of the remote are the D (or "plus") pad, a large "A" button which is used for major on-screen actions, and two small options buttons. Between the game buttons are a plus and minus buttons (which often act as "forwards" and "back"), as well as a "Home" button to engage the Wii home screen to change settings or check remote battery levels. On the back side of the controller is a trigger-like "B" button, perfect for timing releases of a bowling roll inWii Sports.

Thankfully, battery life is excellent with the two included AA batteries, just as with the previous generation of Nintendo wireless controllers.

Immersive intelligence

Along the bottom of the Wii Remote, four blue LED lights indicate which player position the remote is currently set to. The controller automatically connects to the Wii console via Bluetooth wireless technology. Below the LEDs, an expansion port lets you connect a number of devices including the Nunchuck and Classic controllers for Virtual Console gaming (Virtual Console games and controller accessories sold separately). Other features of the Wii Remote include adjustable rumble force-feedback and a reinforced wrist strap to ensure safe use. A speaker inside the remote gives the player feedback about the strength of swings or the accuracy of their moves- such as realistic tennis noises as the "racket" connects with the ball inWii Sports. Overall, the physical design of the remote is extremely sturdy and of very high quality, ensuring countless hours of Wii gaming fun!

(Good quality)

(A good controller for two handed games)

(Hum)

(Excellent product!)

("Industry Standard"; ignore at your peril.)
SPA: Buena calidad, buen embalaje, buen nunchuck.

ENG: Good quality, good package, good nunchuck.

The nunchuck is easy to set up. Simply plug it into the base of the Wii remote and you're ready to go.
The nunchuck is used in games where you'll find yourself having to move your character around. The nunchuck has a control stick, It also has a C button and Z button that can be used in many games.
The nunchuck doesn't take batteries. However, it should be noted that the nunchuck attachment will drain the batteries in your wii remote faster.

I would rather have wireless everything but when its wireless it is more expensive and harder to take care of. Very important to play many of my games.
Excellent product. Maybe because it's wired it can turn a little bit uncomfortable, but it's always a good idea to have 2 or 3 of these, so you can play certain multiplayer games.
Boring it may be, but to have this standard Nunchuck means that you and your friends can enjoy the games without being distracted by different locations of buttons, etc.
So, the wire can be a problem; but it does stop the Nunchuck from being lost/separated, and saves on another set of batteries.
And, being the standard item, you can get all sorts of cool skins for it.

Just wonder why the Wiimote requires a big rubber protective buffer, and this has nothing?

Contoured to perfectly fit a player's hand, the Nunchuk controller builds on the simplicity of the Wii Remote controller and goes an extra step to meet the needs of gamers. The Nunchuk controller connects to the Wii Remote controller at its expansion port and is used in conjunction with the Wii Remote controller. The Nunchuk controller contains the same motion-sensing technology enabled in the Wii Remote controller but also includes an analog stick to assist in character movement. In several games, players will use the analog stick of the Nunchuk controller to move their characters and the Wii Remote controller to perform a specific action, whether that's throwing a pass in football or aiming a ranged weapon in an action game.Along with the analog stick, the motion-sensing Nunchuk controller also contains two buttons positioned for quick access. Because the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers are only relatively dependent on each other, players are free to hold them in whichever hand is most comfortable. The ambidextrous nature of the Wii controllers grants accessibility seldom seen in game controllers.
The Wii Nunchuk controller is a secondary controller that adds even more innovation to the next generation of gaming, and does it all with less physical movement.

Used in conjunction with the standard Wii remote, certain games need the Nunchuk controller for additional control options. Contoured perfectly to fit a player's hand,

The Wii Nunchuk (left) connects directly to the Wii remote. View larger.
the Nunchuk controller builds on the simplicity of the Wii Remote controller. The Nunchuk contains the same three-axis motion sensor found in the Wii Remote, but also includes an analog stick, and two buttons to help assist in character movement.

Many games will allow you to control your character's movement with the Nunchuk in your left hand, while your right hand is free to execute the action movements with the Wii Remote. For example, the Nunchuk is particularly useful for games like Wii Boxing. You can use the Nunchuk to punch with your weaker hand, while you use the Wii remote to punch and jab with your predominant hand.

Take the fun to the next level with two-handed control of your games. View larger.
In first-person shooters, the Nunchuk controller carries the burden of movement, freeing you to aim and fire using a more natural motion with the Wii Remote. In a football game, you can make your quarterback elusive with the Nunchuk controller while you search for an open receiver to throw to using the Wii Remote. Serious gamers may even want to use two Nunchuk controllers to gain a fierce competitive edge.

Because the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers are only relatively dependent on each other, players are free to hold them in whichever hand is most comfortable. Perfectly suitable for either right or left-hand use, the Wii Nunchuk controller grants accessibility not often seen in previous game controllers.

Also, the Nunchuk controller doesn't need its own power--it plugs into the Wii Remote controller when it's in use. So there's no need to worry about charging or replacing expensive batteries.

Adding a Nunchuk to your Wii system will definitely help you open the doors to the next level of gaming, and seriously step up performance. Just be careful not to knock out your significant other, or bruise the dog, severely, while using one, or two Nunchuk controllers.

(Wii Wheel)

(Not as great as you'd think)

(My kids absolutely love this game)

(Sweet)

(WII wheel is a blast)
It's so much easier to just use the other devices. Or if the wheel had support on the bottom.
I bought 2 steering wheels for my son's game Mario Cart Wii. He said it was too hard to use. He started using the controller in his left hand (to control speed) and the nunchuk in his right for the motion etc...I'm like that's crazy..how hard can a steering wheel be?
well..I found it to be too hard to steer. Its very touch sensitive and not as easy as I thought. I have since bought another nunchuk and the 2 wheels are packed away. Oh Well!

My kids absolutely love this game, and I found it at an excellent price on Amazon.com. Thanks for the great deal.
Really if you have Mario Cart and you don't have the wheel you are missing out on complete and enjoyable fun. You know you have always laughed at your friend that looked so stupid leaning the controller when he was turning on the original N64 now who's laughing. I love it it makes it funner for everyone! BYE THEM.
THe WII wheel is a great accessory to have to make playing Mariocart more arcade-like and interactive. I love it!

(Wii Sport is more fun)

(Wii Play: Great Combo Deal)

(Best (and last) Really Good Deal)

(It's Okay!)

(Wii Play)
I like the games that it comes with for the price. BUT, I think that Wii Sport's games are more fun.
What's nice about Wii Play is that it's a combo package: one Wii Remote and the actual Wii Play game.

The game is intended for practice to get used to the Wiimote. Although some games don't make sense (Pose Mii game, in which you have to line up your Mii in falling bubbles), most are very fun. In my opinion, the Shooting Range and Tanks are the best of the mini games.

If you're going to buy another Wiimote anyway, pick up the Wii Play package; it'll add a little more fun to your console.

The games that come bundled with the remote are fun and really help with your control of the remote. That aside, the fact that the game comes bundled with a remote for just $10 more makes it the best deal I have seen for ANYTHING with the Wii.
I will say this, the game is worth purchasing to get the other controller for about $10.00. Other than that, the games are Okay! I'm sure the games are great for small children, but for us old grown-ups, the games are quite boring! I like these games better than the ones on Game Party, but cannot say too much more! Again, for the controller and to have another game for your Wii, just in case young children come to your house, it's worth the purchase.
The truth is its fun. The only bad thing is you can only play with 2 people, I mean come on its suppose to be a party game.

*The guitar is wireless, giving you more room to "rock"
*The instruments are very durable
*The guitar's strumming bar is smoother and makes much less noise than the Guitar Hero guitar.

CONS:
*The game is very hard to calibrate with your TV, so the picture is usually very delayed which can be very annoying
*The tour (campaign) mode is very dull, unlike the other console releases where you choose your venue and tour the world.
*You cannot buy gu
