(Great alternative to high priced guitar)
(now we can battle!) Nyko stuff for wii is not as expensive but not as good as Official NINTENDO prducts but for the price , I think the product is good This Wireless Guitar is great. It's offered at a great price and is comparable to the name brand guitar. Both work well for me, and I would buy another Frontman Wireless Guitar next time, since its a great product and you save a lot of $$$! This is a very good replacement or second guitar for Guitar Hero. It worked flawlessly out of the box with sharp buttons and strum. I'm not overly keen on the yellow color, but that nonwithstanding it is an excellent guitar. I got this for a great price through Amazon. It works just like my Guitar Hero guitar in every way. It is a little shorter which may be a bonus for you and does not effect game play at all. Nice option of being able to change form black to white face too! My kids LOVE their guitar hero but sadly it is basically a one player game - this allows you to battle each other and added a lot to the fun level. This guitar works every bit as good as the one that came with it only it has an extra face plate so they can change it out. I recommend this to anyone who loves guitar hero and wants a chance to go against someone else (aka do battle) Quantity: 1 Nyko wii Frontman guitar

(Finally A Hockey Game for the Wii)
(Mediocre, but I love it)
(fun game)
(Disappointing NHL debut on the Wii) the graphics for this game are ridiculously horrible...if i were 2K i would just not release the game then send out this embarrassment. all i can say is DONT BUY IT If you are a hockey fanatic and you have always enjoyed hockey games, then you will find this game enjoyable. This game is not without it's flaws, but for a first crack at a hockey game for the Wii it's not all that bad. The point and click passing makes the game play come to life, and is a crucial part to what makes this game great. Another great factor is being able to swing your Wii remote and actually feel like your taking a slap shot on net. It's an awesome feeling to be able to blast a puck in the top corner. The graphics are lacking to say the least, but I don't feel that makes the game a total waste. I thought the game speed was good. A lot of people said that the game not having a better instruction book caused some frustration; however, I thought the in-game tutorials the game offered were very useful and helped my game play level. I also like that they have some dynasty teams. For instance you could be the 1999 Stanley Cup Winning Dallas Stars, which allows you that opportunity to go back to your teams (if they had one) memorable season and play as them once again. It was a good surprise. The other options the game offer aren't super fantastic, but I thought were good enough to be satisfying.
The big picture here is if you are a hockey fan and you own a Wii, you will want to pick this game up. You have to give 2K many props for at least providing a hockey game for the Wii, which some of us have been anxiously waiting on. I am sure they will make some corrections and make the game better the next time around, but for now I can say as a Wii owner, it is good to play a hockey game again!!!! I've purchased hockey games annually since the Nintendo 64 came out. This is the most notable of all I've played. While this game is graphically less than glorious, the gameplay on the wii is innovative and fun.
Definitely recommend it to a hockey fan with a Wii. If you're not a fan of hockey, you won't like this. My son and daughter put together their "Christmas" present to buy this game. My daughter is a "travel" hockey player and her brother plays "house" but they are both big fans of both the "real" game and this video game. Every day my son tells me who he has "signed". Keeps them sharp in between practices and ice games! It's about time that we got an NHL game on the Wii, and NHL 2K9 is here to be just that. Boasting controls that take advantage of the Wii-mote, NHL 2K9 sounds promising, but sadly it doesn't quite deliver the way that it should. The Wii's nunchuk controls provide some brilliant skating controls that nicely simulate real skating, but passing and shooting the puck with the Wii-mote is a different story. Passing and shooting end up being more awkward than anything else, which is sad considering hockey on the Wii could otherwise be a match made in heaven if done right. Where the Wii-mote controls really shine are during fights however, where the nunchuk comes into play as well. There's also the option of racing the zamboni around in between periods, but there's hardly anything compelling or fun about it. The biggest flaws of NHL 2K9 is that there isn't much that has changed from the previous versions of the game. Considering this is the series' debut on the Wii, this may not be so bad, but the game is definitely showing it's age thanks to the dated graphics engine and recycled commentary. Not to mention that the series' biggest claim to fame, it's realisticness, is slowly fading away. Compared to EA's NHL 09, NHL 2K9 doesn't measure up in terms of simulation, which is a shocker considering the 2K series has come out on top for the past few years plus. Flaws aside though, there's still some fun to be had with NHL 2K9 on the Wii, and one can only hope that next year the flaws will be addressed and the Wii will get an NHL game that takes advantage of what the console can do. 2K Sports has brought the fun back to hockey video games with an intuitive control scheme and hard-hitting action. NHL 2K9 brings a totally rebuilt NHL experience to life with a brand-new in-game presentation system, as well as fresh player animations and controls that you will enjoy from the moment you play your first game, until well after you become a seasoned veteran. Further adding to an unmatched level of fun and celebrating the NHL's uniqueness are an all-new Zamboni mini-game, playoff beards, a new fighting engine and more. Complete with new commentary, a user-friendly franchise mode and upgraded online features, NHL 2K9 brings the fun back to game consoles. Play like the pros using the Wii Remote controller as a hockey stick and experience the sport in a new, entertaining and wholly unique manner.

customer 's review (I Enjoy It)
(Deca Sports badminton)
(Played it twice - collecting dust)
(If you love Badminton, you will love this game.)
(Deca Sports) I think this is a good "expansion" to the games that come with Wii Sports. Theres some fun new sports to try. And you can definately play them for a while. Each of them take some time to understand and the directions take a while to master but once you get the hang of it its alot of fun! I wouldn't recommend to young kids who can't grasp directions well, it even took me a while to learn how to do somethings correctly :-). I gave five stars based on the certain awesome aspects of a badminton gameplay.
Pros. 1. In tournament mode, the game is getting harder and harder with the more time you spend playing the game. The computer A.I. can play like a real Olympic player. 2. A practice mode is good enough for a quick learning. 3. Here is why I gave it 5 stars. It is possible to 3.1 fake drop shot 3.2 dive in every directions to receive a smash 3.3 Drop return a thunder smash and win the point 3.4 Smash hard onto the fallen opponent 3.5 Loft a birdie far from the fallen opponent 3.6 Jump smash a high serve
Cons. 1. Swing time in the gameplay lag quite a bit behind that of wii-remote 2. The direction of shots is not 95% controllable depending on the position of the player and a swing time. It requires some practices to master a swing time and a direction control. If one gets used to it, the game will get very intense and incredibly fun when you play with an intermediate to excellent skill-level A.I.
3. A.I. at its excellent performance level is almost impossible to beat but it is still fun to play with it
4. Drop shot does not work all the time if the wii mote is not moved hard enough. 5. The position of the player should be able to be slightly adjusted. This game is a waste. I was expecting a lot more along the lines of wii sports. Man was I disappointed. The controls are horrible and the games lack everything that makes wii sports great. If I had to do over again I wouldn't have purchased this game. It collects dust now. I first played this game at my brother's place and I couldn't wait to get my own. I am a big fan of Badminton, and actually I am a semi-pro badminton player myself. What do I have to say is that the badminton game feels like a REAL game, and the controls feels like you are swinging a real racket. Since you are not controlling the movements of the player, you will need to be patient not to swing too early, i.e., wait till the player closer to the birdie to smash or drop. What is really satisfying is that you can even deliver a faked smash, jumping high in the air to fake the smash, but drop the birdie. While receiving the drop, you may drop back or return it far to the back court, just like play a REAL game!!! This is so fun and both my brother and I got sore arms after playing a very tense game.
All in all, I love BADMINTON and the Deca Sports simulates it VERY well, and I really enjoyed it. Deca Sports
I bought this game for my grandchildren, who enjoyed it very much. The variety of sports is wonderful. I have to say that I have enjoyed playing the game myself. Great for all ages. Rerations < Deca Sports >

(ONLINE Multiplayer Makes the Game!)
(The names.. Bond.. James Bond.)
(waste of money)
(Not a Goldeneye Replacement) wow just wow this game is both fun and challenging at points........
the graphics are a small step up from orginal wii games but yet they still suck and the single campain is fun but not good but the online is amazing...
i thought this game would be crap after playing 2 levels of the campain but i decided to go aganist some people and it was fun 2 vs 2 which may sound bad but it gets pretty intense after a bit .
although your hands look like 1998 legned of zelda oot (links hands) which can be kind of annoying .
the weapons are noting super special but the awsome at the same time . the best thing about this game would have to be the wifi here is a run through
there are 4 different things you can choose conflict single or team and rush single or team
RUSH is a objective thing were you run to a golden gun or somehting and you have to be the very first person there collect all the parts you get points and so on and so on conflict is basically deathmatch which is my favorite
there are 8 classes bomber, vetern, assiasan, mercernary, hench men,00 agent, and a couple more they all have there ups and downs my favrite is vetern just because good health and a good weapon but it all depands on what your best at
POINTS you start out with 5000 points and every match you get first place in you get 100 poinits and if you lose (get in second place) then you lose so many points depanding on how many players there are max number of points is 9999 which is hard to get but i have got 9999 points before so its not that hard
THIS GAME IS NOT FOR JUSY HARDCORE GAMERS ITS FOR CASUAL TO
PROS: onine multiplayer weapons char. there are alot more i mean alot morebut i cant think f them right now CONS:graphics are moderate n cars the single campain could have bee better only like 3 levls from quantum of solace all the rest are casnio royal
thast my reveiw this game gets a 4 out of 5 but i gave it a 5 because its a good fps For me, the Single player mode is a waste of time, I've played about an hour of single player mode, maybe 4 levels in...
The Online multiplayer is awesome! I've played about 25 hours online since I got the game last week. Its that addicting and well made. Its clear to me that they spent more time developing the multiplayer than the single player mode, and that was the RIGHT move! I've never had to wait more than a minute to get a match, you don't need friend codes to play. You can choose "play anyone" and pick right up with 3 other online players. Yes, its only 4 players in a match, there were rumors that it was going to be 12, but I've played non-stop, and never been in a match with more than 4 people. But, 4 people seems to be perfect, not too much, and not too little. You can play teams as well, 2 on 2 or 3 vs. 1, you can switch teams at any point in the match, which depending on how you feel, is a good or bad thing. Online matches last 15 minutes, the levels are very cool and they also put in the Facility from Goldeneye, with an updated and expanded look.
I just got CoD: WaW the other day, and while its amazing, I honestly think QoS online is a slightly bit better. I say this because I love the "A" button duck and cover move with QoS, its a great tactic to use while playing others in multiplayer. And QoS uses the same engine as CoD, so switching classes in a match, etc all are in QoS.
Its no Goldeneye of course, I don't think anything will ever compare to it. But I think its as good as Nightfire and TWINE in the multiplayer department and takes the cake for #2 all-time Bond game, just because of the multiplayer! Get this game for the Wii!!!!
Quantum of Solace is one of the best bond games. It is first person/third person shooter, When you crouch behind a wall or an object, it switches into third person and you can see bond. Quantum of Solace consists of Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace which you can play through both movies!. The missions are interesting and very fun to play. The multiplayer is very fun when you have four friends.Playing online mode using Nintendo WFC you can connect online and play for free and is one of the best parts of the game. The Graphics and voice acting is really good and the music is great making you feel like you are playing bond. The controls are really simple and fun to play. Overall Quantum of Solace is in my opinion is one of best bond games and overall I'd give it a 9.0/10 buy this game! to put it bluntly this game is pathetic. its full of glitches and one so bad that it will not let you finish the train mission. im on my third copy and best buy wont give me my money back because its opened, but if you cant finish a game because of glitches wouldn't that be considered broken? but i digress let me move on to game play. the auto aim is horrible and will get you killed way more than it ever helps you. its a rectangle box that you cant move from target to target during a shootout w/out letting off the z button and turning bonds whole body toward where you want to re target. so it many times targets a guy behind a crate who you cant shoot until he pops up anyway, but then theres a guy to the left or right shooting at you from out in the open and many times killing you because you cant move the target over quickly like in EON. it also targets propane tanks and such all the time instead of actual enemies. which is ok if its done only in a bond sence type thing like EON, that way you can chose. next is the health meter, its brought over from COD unfortunately. this heath meter shouldn't be in any game unless your wolverine or some other character w/ a healing factor. bond is not 1 nor are COD marines. having to find cover every 2 seconds is so annoying, just have a regular heath meter and some body armor scattered around missions. and once your dead your dead! then you have the ai for the enemies which after the first mission just get repetitive and boring. after you just run through mission after mission killing a small army worth of guys who btw act like soldiers from COD not thugs. and as such it seems most of the time like your just clearing out bunkers from a COD knockoff w/ different graphics. i know this was built off a COD platform but i think 007 is a big enough title to have its own platform and maybe have other games designed off it. also when you use 1 platform for many games the player shouldn't be able to detect it so easily. the hand to hand is basically 1 button push, w/ very little imput from you. and theres no combinations or different ways to take out enemies like in EON. the missions themselves have the occasional cool part but those are few and far between. and overall this is the most restrictive 007 ever, its go here/ do this/ kill this/ etc. w/ very little imput from the game player. theres no 2 ways of doing something and therefore very boring and easily forgettable. theres more but i think ill leave it at that for a store web page. i never thought id long for the days of EA making bond again. they had more misses that hits but they did have EON. if QOS is the future of this series this just might kill it. oh and on a side note for bond fans this has almost nothing to do w/ QOS, it should be called casino royale if anything. First I'd like to say that if you're looking for a good first person shooter game, this one is one of the best I've played on the Wii; go ahead and get this one. If you're a fan of Goldeneye or Perfect Dark, and thinking this will be equal to those games as far as fun factor and multi-player variety goes, you will be disappointed, and read further as to why.
The Single player part of Goldeneye was so much fun! I'd play some of the levels again and again, just because you could complete them in so many different ways. Also, to unlock any of the cheats, you had to complete levels in certain times, which made me eagerly retry levels over and over. Perfect Dark was the same way, but the levels weren't nearly as fun. As far as I can tell, this game doesn't have anything like that, and I wouldn't really want to play the levels over and over anyway.
I bought a Nintendo 64 because of Goldeneye. What really sold me when playing it in the store was the realism they were able to accomplish. No, the graphics weren't that great by today's standards, but you could interact with the terrain. Shots left bullet holes, and sounded different based on what you were shooting at. You could blow up things like tables and windows and computers by shooting at them. You get none of this realism in Quantum of Solace, bullets don't leave a mark, and none of the terrain is destroyable, and I believe they really missed the mark here.
Here's the big reason: Multi-player variety. In Goldeneye, you had so many different choices for multi-player. You could have heavy weapons in the Temple, or pistols in the facility. When you added cheats into the mix, you just got even more variety. Perfect Dark was even better. You could pick each individual weapon in each game, which made the variety almost infinite. You could also change your health level, which was great to level the field, as a newbie could play a veteran and not be crushed and frustrated. In Perfect Dark they even added Simulants, computer opponents that added even more variety to the scenarios you could create. And one more thing, you actually ran around and found the different weapons, which made it fun because you could strategically place certain weapons in certain places. Again, you get none of this in Quantum of Solace. You pick your person, you get one pistol and one rifle, nothing extra to pick up, and no choice as to your health level. And there are only two choices of games to choose from, versus the many different choices in both Goldeneye and Perfect Dark.
I still have my Nintendo 64, just because it's so much fun to play Goldeneye and Perfect Dark when I have friends over. I was hoping this game would be it's modern replacement, and sadly, it's not.

(Fun for a little while)
(Fun, good game, price a little high)
(Not what we expected!) This is a great game. it is hard but easy at the same time. It is easy to find the animals and where to go, but it is hard to shoot the animal and get it down. there are so many things to hunt, and so many different places to hunt. It is a great game. This is a fun game. Even my 4 year old likes it. It is pretty easy and not much of a challenge. You're gonna dig this game for a few weeks, but it gets old shortly. Only so much you can do with hunting hooven animals. Does get fun in the higher modes when you get attacked, but otherwise not much challenge. Fun game. I give it a solid 4.5. Several people talk about how good the game is...Amazing! I like hunting and action games alot, and this definately seems like one of the better ones. Don't rent it, buy it. The only thing on the down side is the price. It was $18.05 a earlier today, so I left it in the basket. A half hour later I came back to proceed to the checkout and it had increased to $29.99. I seriously can't believe my luck today. Cabela has release a new game called "Cabela's Buck Tropheys," and has another one on the way! How can they charge $30 for the game when a new one has been released and another is in the making? You might as well shoot the bucks instead of spending them! If the price drops to $19.99, don't hesitate, buy it. Over all, pretty good game. If the price drops, I will buy it first thing tommorow. I recommend it to all gamers who like hunting, action, and outdoor games. And it definately stands by its ESRB rating. Now, go and get yourself a copy before everyone starts calling Costco expensive. We were hoping you can just pick the location you want to hunt in, but you can't. Also you can hunt just any animal. You have to hunt what the came wants you to hunt, and if you kill a different animal you get warned. We are not to impressed with the game. Hunters have always loved the best-selling Big Game Hunter series. Now Cabela's delivers the most compelling hunting game ever offered for the first time on he Nintendo WII.
