customer 's review (Order Brand NEW Replacement Disk direct from Nintendo!)
(Fun Fun Fun)
(THIS IS THE ONE THAT GOT ME HOOKED)
(Fun to be had)
(Great for beginners) First of all this is the best game I have played on Nintendo Wii! The main reason I am leaving a review is for those who are looking for a replacement or to just get the game. As stated above by Amazon, you can order replacement disks directly from Nintendo Support by calling 1-800-255-3700. The cost of the game is $15 + $5 for shipping. So you can get a brand new game for $20. I am glad that Amazon listed that information, because I received a brand new copy for less than I could get a used version.
Advice: Get a BRAND NEW Wii Sports directly from Nintendo for $20.
Thanks, Amazon! Another example of why you the best online retailer. I think this game "usually" comes with your Wii console! However, for those of you that perhaps bought your game system 2nd hand and it did not come with this game - Buy It!! It is so far the best interactive fun game I have played on the Wii! I cannot bowl at a "real" bowling alley, in fact I played on a league once for their handicap, and I threw the ball backwards more than a few times, and I was best at gutter balls! On the Wii the first time I bowled I got like a 68! I can now officially say that I bowled a "Perfect Game" - a big 300!! WOO HOO!! I have never tried "real" golf, but since playing it on the Wii, I actually have the desire to test a real green now!! I am not a tennis player, and I don't really want to play tennis (bad knees, ex-smoker lungs), but it's still a fun game!! Baseball is my least favorite of the games, but I still enjoy trying to hit the balls out of the park!! Boxing is something I have always enjoyed watching - I used to watch Ali fight when I was a kid!! This game will get your heart rate up in a hurry!!! All of the games on here are fun!! The extra bonus is the "fitness" section!! I will admit that when I first tried this - my Wii age was 80! How sad is that??? I am getting younger, but I am not young enough for my satisfaction - I am now 42 in Wii age (sigh, but older in real age)!! LOL What is fun about this little section is that you are not allowed to do it over and over again to try to get younger, you have to wait until the next day, so this keeps you coming back for more!! This game is so worth buying if it did not come with your system!! I bought my Wii due this game. Played it a friends house and had to have it. Found a used Wii and bought it but did not have this basic game purchase here and have been enjoying since. I purchased the WII Sports Pak. I paid extra to receive this item quickly for my grandson's birthday. I did get it in time, and my grandson loved the gift. So I am very pleased with my purchase and would do it again in the future. My family loves this game. It is a great way to get familiar with the controllers. Every time we have people over they grab this game and challenge one another to bowling, boxing, tennis or baseball. We like the bowling and boxing the best. Wii Sports Rerations < Wii Sports >

customer 's review (Good, challenging game for a novice)
(Playing golf? Me?)
(tiger woods pga tour 08 for Wii)
(good solid game)
(Fun Game) The game is challenging for any competitor that doesn't play games very often. Amazon shipped the game in a timely manner and the price was perfect. I bought this game for my adult son who is really enjoying it. He says he gets some exercise just swinging that rod, he loves it. It is not for me to use, I am a working mother who does not like golf. I would NOT recommend this game to anyone, at least anyone with Wii. The game is for other types of players not Wii. First, it has no instruction, second, you go on line to ask a question, nobody will answer. You cannot get assistance. Gameface is lousy. Anyway for me the program stinks. I am not going to send back. Not going through the trouble will end up in garbage. I sold my Tiger Woods 08 and bought 09 then had to sell 09 and get 08 back because of so many glitches in 09. Really like the 08 it extremely good....not great but good solid and dependable. Fun for all ages and you are able to work up a sweat and actually get some physical exertion but only if you want to. I like the game and consider it a good value. I've been using this game for a while and have enjoyed it very much. Creating your own character is fun but hard to make it look like myself. It is much more realistic the the one that came with WII sports. Take on the world in Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08. For the first time ever, every portion of your game is recorded?from the first tee box in Play Now mode to your final putt in a FedExCup tournament. Post your most amazing?and unthinkable?performances on EA SPORTS GamerNet, a revolutionary interactive gaming hub that hosts user-created content online. (A Must Have!)
(Fun as a two person or one person game.)
(great family fun)
(Great for kids, dull for adults) Cant play this game on my wii but amazon was really helpful with replacements and returns. But mote if you are an australian buyer dont get a wii game unless it has 'PAL' on the front or you have a chip in your wii!! I thought this game was so fun! There are many mini games to choose from, and you can either play alone and roam around the playground opening new games and prizes or play the multiplayer mode with others. The games are really easy, but still fun so it is a good game to have for all ages. This is a really fun game if you like competition. The tetherball is great as well as several of the other games. There are a lot of games to choose from and they vary in different areas, so I think everyone could find something they like. Great for pre-teens and teens too. This is a one person game that everyone in the family can enjoy. My five year old loves this game, and jumps around like a rabbit on uppers while he plays it! My 3 year old likes it also, but isn't adept enough with the controller to play any of the games well. I think it is directed more for children 5-10, but call us kids at heart, both my husband and I enjoy playing the games. If it was just us, I doubt I would have gotten it, but with kids, it is a great choice. Everything so far in the game is non-violent and based around things you might play on a playground. The ideas are there, the backgrounds done well, the idea of marbles that you have to collect forces you to explore&the types of games are original. The nerf darts shooting (at cans, targets&other kids), stock car racing&paper air plane racing are first person view or the camera is right behind the car/plane to keep it exciting. All the other games (dogeball, handball, tetherball, volleyball/soccer combo game) have the camera view in the audience, which to me makes it more dull in my opinion. You can do story mode single player to unlock different backgrounds/game tracks. For the beginning, you only have playground&when playing it's always the same track. You can also do quick races as single or multi player&choose any game, your own rules: goals needed, level of difficulty, length of game, track (if unlocked), etc. Rain or shine, the fun doesn't have to stop! EA Playground captures the exuberance and nostalgia of your neighborhood playground, turning your gaming space into an arena of interactive fun with immersive activities designed for kids. EA Playground smartly delivers all your playground favorites on the Nintendo Wii. Every game is easy to pick-up-and-play and uniquely capitalizes on the control mechanics of the Nintendo Wii. Swing the Wii remote to excel in tetherball or battle your friends and family in dodgeball. Every game brings its own twist to the controls for the ultimate party game. Explore the world and meet some wacky in-game characters that will challenge you to playground activities. Take them on and beat them at their own game. Play hard and prove you have what it takes to rule the playground. Rerations < Playground >

(Marble Madness For A New Generation)
(Fun for All)
(Not for the color blind)
(pretty fun, worth $20) For the price, the game is good. The controls are responsive, the graphics decent, and the puzzles fun. I've had my eye on this game for quite some time. Finally decided to pull the trigger when Amazon had it on sale during the Gold Box sale. I'm not disappointed to say the least!
This game is fantastic! It brings back memories of playing Marble Madness on the NES only with some new twists! The first great thing about this game is the controls. It's fairly simple and straight forward. Tilt your Wii-mote in the direction you want your blob to go. Tilt it in the opposite direction to get it to slow down. They've also tossed in color change stations to add some strategy to it. Some stages require you to be a certain color to get through a door or to exit the stage. The coolest thing about all of this is that your blob can be split into separate sections. Smaller pieces are faster, larger are slower. This can add much frustration as you're trying to get your blob back together but is also a very fun part of the game!
If you like Marble Madness or other fun skill games like that, I think you'd really like this game. Hours of fun for this 26 year old! I find this game fun and challenging for those of us over 45. Kids will enjoy the challenge too. Not the action, kill games we don't our children participating in. This is a fun game. I love mind puzzler type games and this was recomended to me.
I got through the tutorial fine and it was fun. But once I started playing the game I started having trouble. You have to get the blob certain colors and I am color blind and it was too difficult.
If you are color blind or have trouble matching colors this game isn't for you. However, if you don't have that problem, this game should be a blast. i've played this game for a couple hours now and it is pretty fun. reminds me of the old "marble madness" game, but with an updated feel and technology. it gets pretty difficult, so it isn't a super easy game that you'll blow thru in minutes. it's a good level of challenge. Mercury Meltdown Revolution lets you guide a mercury "blob" trough dangerous obstacle courses with your Wii Remote. Take control of a liquid mercury blob, guiding it around traps, door switches, spikes, moving floors and other hazardous elements in order to complete the level. Use your Wiimote to explore 150 levels and hidden labs, as you get used to the state of the art blob physics. Rerations < Mercury Meltdown: Revolution >

(I love this game)
(Very fun)
(Harvest Moon:Tree Of Tranquility)
(Kooooooooooool) Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility has many new features that I enjoy, but I feel they aren't executed their the full potential. The festivals, though an improvement, still lack individuality. The wild animals, once obtained, do little and the only options for interacting with them are either to pet them or to walk them. The characters are new and interesting, but more could still be done with them. The storyline is not as essential to the gameplay as it could be. Tree of Tranquility is a fun game, it is an addicting game, but it feels like an unfinished game. There are few things I can actually criticize about the game, but I feel the ranching aspect of it is one. In recent games I have felt that the ranching part of HM has taken up too much time, become too complicated, and lacks the profit that would balance out the time it take to care for the animals. In Tree of Tranquility this had not improved. Also, the wiimote vibration that occurs when brushing, milking, or shearing seems incongruous with the actions that it represents. In fact, I found it so disturbing that I sold my goat. As I said, I have not enjoyed the ranching aspect of Harvest Moon in a while, so this may not bother some one else who has the desire to expand their ranch. Fortunately, there are many other profitable ways to spend ones time in the game. Overall, I think Tree of Tranquility is well worth the purchase, but having seen some videos for Harvest Moon: Exciting Animal March, I do wish that I had saved my money and waited for EAM's to-be-announced release. From what I have seen for EAM, it appears to be all the fun that ToT is but with the polish that it is lacking. A little hard to figure out at first, but once you get the hang of it you'll be playing it for long periods at a time. Compared to the other harvest moon games this one was alot easier to understand for me. The plot makes sense to the game and it is guided along as you go. This is a great game with only a few things I would change about it. It is slightly annoying that moving in and out of buildings and moving from one area to another you have to go through a loading screen. It is also very annoying that going into a building or cave does not stop time like in the other harvest moon games I have played. This makes playing the game feel slightly rushed. Other than that I have very much enjoyed this game. I love that I can play as a boy or a girl, even if I can't customize my girls hair or anything. I love that the items in the rucksack are stackable, well most of them anyway. Over all, well worth the money I spent. I can't wait for the next one. I havent played the whole game through yet,but i found it to be enjoyable, even though a few times i had to consult a walkthrough. i would reccomend this even for non-Harvest Moon fans. I could't wait for this game,Nether could my 12 year old child. This game is one of the best harvest moons ever. We play it every night. My daughter loves farm animals so this game is perfecy for her. You have moved to an island town that was once brimming with life and energy. But now, however, the island is in trouble and it's up to you to save it. The mystical Mother Tree that once watched over the island has disappeared, and the Harvest Goddess is nowhere to be found. The island has lost its connection with nature and the inhabitants don't know what to do.Till the earth, befriend and raise animals, nurture friendships, and build a family. When the giant Mother Tree is reborn, the Harvest Goddess will be able to return and bring prosperity to the island once again.Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquilityis filled with exciting features that are sure to delight both new players and longtimeHarvest Moonfans. (Great game the entire family plays.)
(Best Game)
(Thrillville game for PC)
(A pleasant surprise!) well i guess i'm the only one that was excited about this game. but do have to agree that some of the games on here are little hard to play and get through. but the rollercoaster is awesome watch from all the different angles , but a bit of a learning curve so it's not everyone's favorite in this household. This game is terrific. First my daughters (5&7) played it, then the hubby picked it up, then me. Now we have to set the timer because everyone wants to play it and its easy to lose track of time. I have always enjoyed Sims games but they start to feel like work and can be stressful. This is similar to a Sims game but the work is fun and doesnt feel like work at all. For example, you need to train an entertainer for the park, you teach her to dance by doing some DDR type moves with the wiimote and nunchuck. Same with the park cleaner, you get to run around like a ghostbuster and vacuume up vomit and trash. Ok, sounds gross I admit, but totally fun. The parks are huge and the pre-built coasters, carnival games, booths, etc are awesome. Its fun to put down a hat and balloon booth then see a few minutes later the customers wearing/holding them. The bumper cars are a blast and so are most of the other mini games. This is a must have for any Wii owner in my opinion!! This game is very fun and allows creativity. I bought this for my kids and they love it and spend hours having fun. GREAT GAME AND IT IS WORTH PURCHASING. HOURS OF THRILLING EXCITEMENT WITH VISUALS AND SOUND EFFECTS. LOTS OF FUN, IT GIVES YOU THE FEELING THAT YOU ARE AT A REAL THEME PARK. I was pleasantly surprised by this game. I found it for fairly cheap and took a chance on it. I have not been a fan of many Wii games due to broken controls and rushed games which fall sub-par, but this game is quite good and offers all kinds of different activites from managing park details to actually playing the games to obtain new features for the park. This is chock-full of unlockables and although I have just barely scratched the surface of this one I know there are many more hours of fun to be had from this title. Thrillville: Off the Rails amps up the family-friendly mix of gameplay with some of the most outlandish roller-coaster concepts ever imagined, as well as new ways to talk to park guests and a new array of carnival games. 20 death-defying rides so outrageous inspire the same word from every park visitor who sees them: "WHOA!" Build incredible "WHOA Coasters" to leap from one track to another, launch through the air like cannonballs, blast through a burning ring of fire and more. A new lighthearted story ties together more than 100 missions, complete with 34 playable multiplayer theme-park games and social interaction with park guests that's better than ever. The in-depth conversations both advance the plot and suggest better ways to manage the park but is every guest to be trusted? Attach animatronics, flowers and flaming hoops to all of your coasters and rides Smarter guests, better dialogue and more focused two-way conversation make Thrillville's socialization aspects even more amusing than before Conversation more directly impacts the story than in the original Thrillville Play 34 minigames - 14 new, 20 returning from the original Thrillville with new levels such as Robo K.O., Sparkle Quest, Bandito Chinchilla and Tank Frenzy Rerations < Thrillville: Off the Rails >
