(Cooking with Mama)

(Don't buy this item)

(not easy to use with the game)

(Don't Buy Cooking Mama Accessories!)

(My girls ended prefering playing the game with the regular controls)
The game can be played without the kit. It's a great game, but the kit tends to be cumbersome.
the game is ok but the cooking kit sucks. i thought it might be easier to use those than the remote. I was wrong. i couldnt even get the remote to work when i put it in the cradle i wanted to use. it is horrible do not recommend this item.
Would not buy for a friend. I bought this for my 8 yr old and she found it difficult to use. She plays the game with the remote instead of the cooking tools
I love the Cooking Mama game but when I bought the accessories, thinking it would be more fun, it was horrible. The untensils do not stay put during your chopping, cutting, peeling, etc. They swivel back and forth while you are playing and actually just get in the way. If it was made much better, then it would be worth it. I may have to consider using tape or something to keep it from swiveling as I play. What a shame and a sham!
I thought that having this kit with kitchen accesories will make the cooking mama game funnier but it didn't. The "knife" bends when they start simulating and they ended prefering playing the game without this accesories.
This dual set of controller holders is a virtual chef's dream. One holder is shaped in the mold of a frying pan while the other is a combination of a spatula, a knife and tongs, so you can fry, flip, cut and stab any one of your favorite dishes. For the handle with the multiple utensils, just keep the one that you wish to use erect while sliding the others to the side of the handle and you are ready to go. In the handle a cut-out mold that cradles your Wii remote so that you are ready to point and cook.

(Near perfect design flawed by user interface)

(Great Product!)

(Positive Review- In Charge Dual Charge Station *****)

(Nearly perfect; Easily upgraded to perfect)

(great charge and battery)
A half dozen or so cradle chargers on the market. Wii controllers have skins--but available chargers won't charge with skins on. Skins are a PITA to remove. Removing skins hard on the skins. Enter the InCharge. Charges with or without skins and charges inductively (think of a Sonicare toothbrush). InCharge feels solid, takes controllers with or without skins, and is tolerant of how the controllers are positioned within the cradle.

Perfect design, but enter the nitwit design decision: entire civilized world uses a flashing indicator for charging, and a solid indicator for charged. Done this way since the dawn of time. People are used to it. Millions of products work this way. Sony, Nikon, Fujitsu, HP, Panasonic, etc. do it this way. So of course the InCharge engineering team decides to do the opposite. Their engineering management, product management and UI people don't stop this trainwreck. This may sound like an overblown rant, but a lot of folks, including me, are becoming intolerant of this type of bad engineering. From the flashing 12 of the early VCRs to my wireless headphones that beep 6 times, loudly and slowly everytime the audio stops for more than 10 seconds, these crappy decisions can turn a well-designed product like the InCharge into an annoyance. It works, but it irritates me everytime I see it flashing. What were they thinking.

/rant

That said, another reviewer mentioned the solution--mask out the lights. Would have been nice to know, say, when the batteries were fully charged, and would have been nice not to have to kludge the product in order to use it, but it was apparently more important for the InCharge engineers to exercise their creativity.

This is really a great product. Nice to keep silicon skins on. Easy for the kids to use. Just put in the charging cradles.

However, with the silicon skins on it will take much longer for the remotes to fully charge (12+ hours). It is a bit annoying that the lights keep flashing when the remotes are fully charged. Like another reviewer said, it would be nice if the color just changed from blue to red.

We have not had a chance to see how long the charges will last, but I think this product is very environmentally friendly.

Great for any family that owns a Wii!

I am very pleased with this product!! I've had it for a month now. I don't have to remove the silicon jacket to charge my wiimotes. You just place it in the cradle, the magnetic charging is similar to that of a Sonicare toothbrush charger. They are no contacts to wear down, rust, or corrode. I researched this pretty hard and this was the only solution that I would accept. Worth every single penny...BELIEVE ME!!

There is no better alternative.

I bought two of these units two months ago and absolutely love them. The ability for kids to just set the controller down in roughly the right place and still have it charge is fantastic.

I have had NO issues with charge life. I've seen the kids play for many hours with hardly any loss of charge.

I have had NO issues with the reset button, even when using the Mario Kart wheel.

My ONLY complaint is with the very bright flashing lights. With the new battery pack, each remote gains a blue LED which flashes whenever it is "docked" in the induction field. In addition, the base has two bright blue LEDs that glow steady when each remote is charging and flashes whenever each is charged. Who thought of that backwards logic???

I took some well-cut electric tape and completely covered the front panel lights. Then I used some thin strips of electric tape and covered 80% of the LED on each remote. This allows me to (barely) confirm the remote is "docked", and I don't care to see the charge indicator.

Overall, I *highly* recommend this product.

Disposable batteries do not last very long in Wii bluetooth controllers. The batteries and charger in the In-charge solve the problem. Only con is the flashing blue light when charging which is very annoying at night.
The InCharge for Wii is an inductive charging station. The InCharge charging station is the only solution that works with the Nintendo Wii with the silicon skins on the remote.

customer 's review
(A really great game with friends)

(Absolutely terrible)
This is my first review so bear with me...

Objective
I have been playing this game for several weeks now and I find it incredibly fun. You start off playing the game by choosing your gender then choosing one of the three starting job classes; warrior, thief, or mage. Then you begin to progress through the story line, fighting monsters and players, rescuing towns, and performing random tasks for the king. The whole point of the game is to have the highest net worth by the end of it, which is a combination of the amount of towns you control, you end amount of pocket change, and how much the king gives you for giving him gifts. It's a fairly simple idea for a party game, and it is very similar to Mario Party's collection of stars in order to determine a winner. At the end of a week, seven rounds of turns, it gives a summary of who is winning, so there is no guess work to see how you are standing up to the competition.

Game play
The biggest part of this game is the fighting. You can fight monster, bosses and even players if you land on their space. The fights are tremendously fun and are simple of enough to pick up immediately yet have enough depth in order to not become boring as the game progresses. This game also displays both characters stats right next to each other so complete disclosure is possible. This helps the player to try and predict their opponent's reaction, as well as to find their greatest weakness.

Audio/Visual
Nothing spectacular, all of it pretty forgettable. The models aren't the greatest; the sound is tolerable but definitely not inspiring. For me, the thing that sold me was the game play, a combination of rpg/party action.

To sum it all up, this game is really fun if you like rpgs and party games. Another person who reviewed this game complained that nothing was random and that it was all mapped out. However, unless you are trying to cheat by restarting enough times so that you can get your intended result, then this fact will have bearing on you whatsoever. The only other thing that I should mention is that this game is better played with other people (I think that this is true with most games :-)). There is no deep story line to speak of and the computer can be hard, but when you beat you friend in a fight and take all their money, it can be very satisfying.

Whatever else the game is, the simple fact that all you really do is choose where to move completely destroys it.

By that I mean, if you save a game, play through the board then reload the previous save you were at and play the board again, you will get the EXACT same die results, the EXACT same "random" treasure results, the EXACT SAME monsters and the monsters themselevs will use the same moves. Why bother, then, to make the player push a button to spin the movement spinners or stop the treasure roulette? Why bother to have save points? You have to START A NEW GAME everytime you lose a board otherwise the results will be exactly the same.

A complete joke.

The King of Dokapon has offered you his throne; all he asks for in return is that you dispose of an invading horde of thieving monsters. Trouble is - you're not the only one he asked. Contend with up to three friends as you navigate playfields littered with challenges, monsters to defeat, and rare secrets to unlock.

(great game)

(Worst Football Game Ever!)

(Don't give up on this one.)

(NCAA Football 09)

(WHAT THE $%#^@&!!!!!!!!)
Great game. i dont know why people have to say this is a bad game...
the graphics are pretty good and i dont think theres anything wrong about it.

I have been playing various versions of the EA Football games for it seems like ever and this is by far the worst game I have ever played. The controls are horrible, the game play stinks, and the rest, wow!

This game has nothing to it. 10 years of simulation? Huh. No game has less than 25 years. No create anything? Wow, again, it is part of the fun.

Take your money and buy something else, not this.

If I would have trusted my first impressions of this game I would have stopped playing after the first game, but over time it has grown on me. This is certainly not the best EA football game out there, and I would agree that any of the NCAA games for the GameCube are fundamentally better, but NCAA 09 has its place. Once I figured out how to change the camera views I became much more satisfied with the game. The controls were easy to learn and being able to adjust the AI made the learning curve fun. I was disappointed to find out that the voice clips from the announcers were not any different from the previous NCAA versions, but I purchased and play the game for the interactive nature of the Wii controls. Those who have problems with the game should be looking to the Xbox or PS3 for satisfaction. Games for the Wii are for interacting and having fun, not for spending 100 hours to complete a game or mind-bending graphics.
Game is fun, I wish they had the mini games that the other NCAA's have for training. Also, during game play the score board blocks upfield vision. For some reason about 1/3rd of the time I will try and pass to one reciver and it goes to a totally differet one.
I bought this game cause everybody in the office are college football fans. I dont care much about the grapics. What is with it not reading your actions? The game often will throw to the wrong person. Whats with not being able to get yards on the ground? Im sticking with my PSP for this game.
Brings college pigskin action back with a new break away animation mechanic that will allow increased maneuverability on the field / ESRB E for Everyone

This makes running video to your TV and audio below to a receiver impossible w/o having to buy coax audio extender cables. Just plain dumb. The standard cords that come w/the Wii allow you to split the wires as much as needed.
I wouldn't use my Wii without this. The image quality in 480p is crisp and clear. If you own a television capable of 480p, you owe it to yourself to pick these up. This product works as it should and I have not had any problems with it yet.
I have a 37 LCD TV and what a difference!!! With the component cable I get a crisp, vivid image as opposed to blurry and washed out with the standard RCA cable. Do remember that you have to manually switch the resolution of the Wii to 480p, otherwise you won't notice any difference. You don't need to get an expensive cable (e.g. no need to get the official cable), any Wii component cable will do.

Highly recommended.

These allow you to bump up the resolution of the Wii a little which is nice. It makes a small difference which I appreciated but it certainly isn't a must buy.
I decided to purchase the official cable after trying a cheaper $10 cable that, while it worked fine, didn't provide the best picture quality (that's what I get for not buying first-party to begin with). This official cable definately had a better picture quality and while the difference wasn't amazing, it was noticeable and to me, worth the extra price. I have a budget LCD, so the difference betweent the lower- and higher- quality cables might be more noticeable. In short, these work great and I am much happier with the way my Wii looks now on an HDTV. I will not be hooking this up to my speaker system until August, so the length of the audio cables has not yet been a problem for me.

While I'm happy with these cables, I took one star off for the price. I know I'm paying for the Nintendo name and the "official" seal, which I am always happy to do with Nintendo products, but I think $30 is a little steep.

As a side note, the plugs didn't seem too snug or loose when I plugged them in and they are nicely sized - even if your inputs are crammed close together you won't have a problem fitting these in there.

The Wii Component Cable links your Wii console to your TV, allowing you to view and enjoy your games with the best possible image display. Component video splits the signal into three separate channels of video information for the ultimate connection quality. The cable includes five connectors - three for video, and two for left and right stereo audio.

(So optimistic....sigh.)

(A big disappointment)

(most stupid wii game ever)

(Bring outdoor beach volleyball to your living room!)

(A good party or 'motion' game.)
I got this game as a present for my husband because he is really into disc golf. This game is really clunky. You get to personalize your character which is fun and all but I found that the character I spent the time "personalizing" kept changing just within one tournament never mind between the different activities. Overall frustrating game play from the so simple instructions. It would be nice to know a little more about how you get a full throw with the meter level. We played this game for a couple of hours and I am not sure we will pick it up again.
These games do not interact with your current MII. The response timing is way off. In comparion to WII Sports this is 1970s pong.
The volleyball is totally counter-intuitive, a lame game indeed!
Can't believe THQ has released another pieced of junk like this.

There are many different games but our favorite has been the outdoor beach volleyball. This is totally fun and great, especially if you have a team going and you're challenging another team. Great to play w/family and friends.
Creating players is not very intuitive (Mii's are not used for whatever reason), but the games themselves are not bad.

The games don't offer the most control over how you throw or swing...but playing bocce ball with a group is a lot of fun. Disc Golf is the same

The rest of the games are just ok though, as the interface is not exactly accurate.

Big Beach Sports drops players into a seaside resort setting where up to four players can compete in sports including volleyball, soccer, American football, bocce, disc golf and cricket. The additional single player tournament structure encourages players to master each sport through the use of creative control combinations and real-life sport motions.
