(slow loading screens and goths)
『I am a 43 yr old mom and i purchased this for something to do whilst recovering from surgery. It did the job and i made it to the 5 stars, however, i am now very bored. I don't know the point in continuing to play. I have played several Harvest Moon games and like to play them even after the game is "conquered" because there is still something to do.

I was also surprised to see several "goth" type characters in this game. There are essences you need to collect to make items for people. Some of those essences are ghosts, scary faces, black apples, bloody eyeballs, jack-o-lantern, just to name a few. It sorta harshed my buzz on the cuteness factor and was unnecessary, in my opinion.

I probably would not recommend this game to anyone, sadly.』

(Adorable and Fun)
『I had never played other Sims games before so I can't compare it to others. But, this game is so cute and absolutely adorable. You make friends, build houses, and undo tasks in order to expand your town. The point is to make the town more appealing so "people" will want to move back to town. The voices creep me out a little. After a while you feel like there is some kind of subliminal messaging. It would be cool if you could actually understand what the people are saying, but you have to read what they say as they babble. It's fun and you can exercise your creative juices.』

(Fun if you are a child?? Maybe??)
『Prior to purchasing My Sims I had received My Sims Kingdom which I really enjoyed playing. I was highly disappointed in My Sims when I began playing it. The game seems to be really amateurish and not nearly as developed as My Sims Kingdom which has come a long way since My Sims. The game takes an incredible time to load which it does frequently, including every time you go in or out of a building. It is a very time consuming game because everything takes a loooong time to do, and it really shouldn't be such a long process.

I do not recommend this game. If you like the Sims, buy Sims My Kingdom!』

(Lots of fun)
『This a a great game for small kids. Very fun. The loading time is a bit aggravating though.』

(It's addicting)
『I totally agree with the "loading" part of this game. It does take a lot of the times from when you are actually playing the game. All else is fun fun fun!!! I get so addicted with wanting to create new furnitures and move in everyone to town. I love building houses for other sims. You first move in town and then depending on how you create your town, other sims want to move in too. I get excited when there are sims in the hotel. You then ask them to move in and you do jobs for them and get upgraded to a higher star level. The more stars you have, the more access you have through town. Then you get more essences needed to complete jobs for people. It's a fun game for kids and adults. This game created a lot of laughter in my house.』
『Explore a whole new world with MySims—it’s your world to transform! Move to a town that has been struggling lately. With a little creativity and some help from the locals, you can make this place thrive. Improve the town to attract new characters, from the Italian Chef and Florist to the Kickboxing Instructor and DJ. Discover whatthe residents want and need so that you can help them enjoy life in their town. Design a hot tub or a jukebox from scratch, build homes and businesses from the roof to the front door. Uncover special decorations and patterns as you explore the growing town. From the furniture and objects to the buildings to the town as a whole, each of your creations is unique. In MySims, what you make … makes all the difference! Nintendo DS Feature: A Whole World to Explore—Move to a resort town and discover areas like the mountain, forest, port, entertainment district, and more. Unlock more of the worldas new characters visit and move in. You can also create your own original patterns to make inspired clothing and furniture items.』

(Why would anyone know this stuff?)
『It's not that the questions are difficult its just they're mostly about information no one would care to retain. Its almost like they went out of thier way to make questions like that. One question for example asked about a movie poster in someones bedroom in the movie the butterfly effect. The map questions are hard becuase unless you can mentally draw the lines out for states and be accurate you miss questions you know the answers too becuase you can't tell where new york is on a US map when two of the choices are close to the area you'd think. I like trivia but wouldn't recomend this game to anyone. I would be suprised to see someone answer 50 percent of the questions right as for the font. I have my wii hooked up to an old 27 inch and dont have to much of a problem reading it and my eyes are bad.』

(Trivial Pursuit)
『Good Game. Hard questions - aimed at adults. At least you learn something every game! The only bad part is the font size is very small and there is no way to increase it.

(Great game)
『Just as good as the original if not better. Enjoyed playing it with friends and it goes much quicker.』

(The most fun Wii game yet!)
『We had no idea what to expect with this game... and it turned out to be the best game we've bought yet (out of sports, game shows, etc.). We literally play this 3-4 nights a week, either just two people or as teams with friends. It's truly addictive! The best part: we've been playing it for 4 months and still rarely get the same questions - and all of the questions are current - not like the old Trivial Pursuit board games that use questions from ancient times. If you enjoy trivia, this is a must!』

(Good, not quite great)
『The game is very good and challenging but there are a few annoyances: The announcer is terrible (just turn off his audio) and the type face is hard to read. Other than that it is a great game for the family.』
『The "Trivial Pursuit" video game builds on the original gameplay with stunning visual presentation, new question types and all-new questions, and the innovative Facts&Friends game mode. The quick-playing Facts&Friends mode adds a whole new social dynamic to the game that keeps everyone involved by encouraging players to guess whether their opponents will answer their questions correctly.』
TheTrivial Pursuitvideo game from EA builds on the original gameplay with stunning visual presentation, new categories of questions, all-new never before seen questions, and the innovative Facts&Friends game mode. The quick-playing Facts&Friends mode adds a whole new social dynamic to the game that keeps everyone involved by encouraging players to guess whether their opponents will answer their questions correctly. (For the love of art...)
『The reason I bought this game was because I was really amazed at the background art when I saw the trailers. Instead, I got a very entertaining 2d action game and a plethora of art to have my eyes absorb for minutes.
Delicious art for the brain, incredible game.』

(Honest review of one of the most interesting Wii titles so far.)
『This is a great game, but it have a few flaws.

Pros:
Interesting storyline.
Great sprite, hand-drawn animation. (Best feature in the game)
Excellent music.
Entertaining gameplay.
Multiple endings.
Some interesting boss fights.

Cons:
Character development seems sloppy
VERY repetitive gameplay.
Just two weapons, (short blade and long blade) being the latter useless in battle situations.
Two characters that plays the same.
Meaning just one character, with one useful weapon type.
Easy, even in harder difficulties, including bosses.
Frivolous leveling / weapon creation / cooking system.
Pointless side quests.
Very linear game.
Repetitive overall style, (backgrounds music and animation).
Little replay value.

Bottom line:
This game is entertaining, and I do recommend it (buy it used, rent it or wait for a rice drop, that is). Expect more of a beautiful mindless hack and slash, with pointless RPG leveling up / upgrade system, than a next gen gorgeous Metroidvania. This game is not really original in terms of gameplay. The fights resemble other games (Viewtiful Joe comes to mind) but are intuitive and engaging, which can get dull really fast because you battle the same enemies all over again. The first 15 hours were great, the last 15 hours of gameplay felt like a chore.』

(BEWARE: Only buy this game if YOU DON'T MIND LOSING ABOUT 20 HOURS OF YOUR LIFE...)
『Just to start things off, I completely mean it when I said you'll waste a lot of your time if you intend to purchase and play this game. Just thought I might forewarn everyone since it is just that damn addictive. But down to business.

What I really liked about the game:

*The freaking beautiful (albeit slightly perverse at times) artwork and graphics.
If your a guy intending to play this game (and likes girls) get it simply for the fact that you'll be oogling the girl character in the game for hours... esp. during the hot springs/spa portion of the game. Don't worry, I won't tell if you do. xP

*Did I mention how great the graphics are? Oh, I did? Well I thought it deserved another mention (It really is just that good).

*Gameplay wise, its as simple and as intuitive as a game can be. It's a side-scrolling 2d action adventure, and after five minutes of tutorials you'll be a ninja master in no time. You'll create so much onscreen mayhem of carnage and combos, its sometimes hard to tell who is killing who. But it looks so good, you probably won't care.

If I have to fault the game at something:

*The first one would have to go to repetition. I understand that to remove some of the repetitive and mindless button smashing, the game implemented hundreds of different swords + magic that you can obtain and use in the game on the fly with the push of a button (three swords maximum can be equipped and switched up at any given time during the game). Of course it is by no means a "God of War" type of game in terms of variety and EXTENSIVE combo + move list, I really wished for it to be a least somewhat close to that sort of level. Considering how much better games are getting nowadays, adding more available moves to remove sort of the repetitive button smashing is an absolute must for games released these days. Based on that alone, I would have given my rating at a 4. I said 5 since I was on the fence between a 4 and a 4 and a half. The thing for me that tipped the scale to a five for me was it's beautiful artwork (much like the "Okami" series, which is also just as gorgeous in terms of visuals).

*Another fault would have to go to the initiation of enemy fights. Okay I understand it might have been an artistic style of choice to do it they way they did in the game, but it loses its sense of dynamic type of gameplay for me whenever game makers decide to make enemy encounters sort of "scripted" for a lack of a better word. You'll encounter A LOT of exactly the same enemy encounters throughout the course of game... again, variety in this would have been phenomenal. To better grasp what I mean, take a game like Metroid Corruption on the Wii. Sure there might be the same enemies from time to time, but the way you encounter them is dynamic, and really varied. I know some of you might think of this as a completely irrelevant analogy since Metroid on the Wii is a 3D game, but I can't think of another example to explain this at the moment.

Overall:
I recommend someone buying this game highly. It's a great game with lots of fun things to discover. And its also a plus if your a guy, since I'm probably sure the art director/game director was a guy since there is a lot of content with lots of umm... stuff that guys like scattered throughout the game... haha. If you need a game that you'll for sure get your money's worth, this is one of them. Just take into consideration though that gameplay will get tedious, and repetitive a lot of the bulk of gameplaying. But I overlooked all of it, and simply decided to take it for what it truly is: a beautiful work of art implemented into game form. Thanks for reading my long winded nonsense. :-D

(A Great Wii Game)
『No contest that this game does almost everything right. The controls are spot-on, the art style compliments the atmosphere, and boss battles are challenging, but not overly difficult. The only real problem I have is with the repetitive waves of enemies. It was really cool fighting the ninjas the first few times. but after a while, you end up hating them every time you meet them afterwords. The story was a little too short in my opinion and it took me only a few days to complete the first story mode. After that, the game is either really fun or really boring. The game becomes a scavenger hunt for more swords to see more endings, which is okay if you're a perfectionist. Otherwise, you'll just end up leaving the game alone after completing both character's first endings. Overall, if you like Odin Sphere, this is pretty much the same, but with a different setting. I definitely suggest this to people who are willing to complete the game 100%, but only if.』

(Best side-scroller platform for the Wii)
『Muramasa: The Demon Blade is a beautifully crafted side-scrolling platform action RPG. The art and style of the graphics is superb and really makes the game stand out. Even though the Wii is not HD, this game looks excellent in a large, hi-res screen.

The music and sound is also great. It suits the atmosphere perfectly. Very subtle and relaxing while traversing the country side. Aggresive during the battle scenes.

The gameplay offers 2 different play styles. One is streamlined and easy to learn and use. The other one is more advance and will suit veteran action gamers. It has RPG elements like gathering gold and experience. The item system revolves around forging swords using souls you obtain from fighting enemies and spirit which you gain by eating meals. You can also gather recipes and ingredients to cook. Higher-level dishes yield more spirit.

The boss battles are what really make the game shine. Large, multi-screen bosses that are challenging and original. Large dragons and huge demons are well drawn and animated.

The random encounters are somewhat repetitive. I found it sometimes too frequent and wanted to get through with them so that I could progress the story and get to the next boss.

I found the story to be decent, but nothing that really captivated me. The game has 2 main characters, which are played separately, but eventually their paths cross. This is a neat feature and makes you want to play both characters to see what happens next. It also extends the length of the game, which is not very long if you just play one character one time. You will want to play each character more than once to unlock all the swords in the game and see different endings. There are 3 ending per character.

Overall, Muramasa will please action RPG fans. If you happen to play old 2D side-scrolling games, then you are in for a treat as this game modernizes a great formula and add a nice coat of 2D art to dress it up into a next-gen game.』

『A number of cursed blades exist throughout the world. Blades that thirst for blood the moment they’re drawn. Even those blades thought to be holy slowly become corrupted over time as they are used in hatred and drenched in blood. Those who wield these blades slowly become homicidal. The curses laid on these blades are said to condemn those who use them to tragic and untimely deaths. It is in the Genroki era, a period of time in which the shogun Tsumayoshi Tokogawa reigned, that the force of the damned began to emerge, threatening the peace and prosperity that had long existed in the world. The cursed blades became the focus of the greed, self-righteousness, and arrogance of those who’dgain possession of them, and inevitably it was these conflicting desires that led to war. As the flames of chaos and disaster spread, denizens from the netherworld were dragged into the confusion as not only the evil spirits were summoned by the swords, but the Dragon and Demon Gods as well. How will the destinies of those drawn to these cursed blades unfold?』

Playable character Kisuke from 'Muramasa: The Demon Blade'Kisuke
A ninja with no memory and hounded by a dark unknown past, Kisuke inexplicably finds himself a fugitive, chased for a crime he doesn't remember. He only knows that he must find a certain "katana" and that despite his best intentions, battle seems to follow wherever he goes.
Playable character Momohime from 'Muramasa: The Demon Blade'Momohime
Described by her subjects as "beautiful as a flower and pure as snow," Momohime is a princess of Narukami. But when a dark spirit visits her castle Momohime's idyllic life is changed forever. Forced against her will, she leaves behind everything she knows in a quest for the cursed demon swords.

Gameplay
InMuramasa: The Demon Bladeplayers are given the choice to take on the role of either Kisuke or Momohime as they set off in different directions with the goal of collecting as many katana (swords) as possible. Swords are categorized in groupings defined by the weapon's levels of power and agility. Each Katana also is imbued with a specific attack technique that players will utilize in the different, progessively more difficult game modes. Modes include: Unmatched Mode, designed for character leveling; Carnage Mode, an advanced action mode; and Insane Death Mode, which as its name implies is a very advanced mode and is only available to players who have cleared Carnage Mode.

(Definitely an Improvement)
『While Nintendo has yet to make the leap into the modern HD market, they are at least taking steps in the right direction. The cable performs well and there is a notable increase in clarity and sharpness of image. However, I myself had a bit of an ordeal in the set-up and use of this product. The problem was that you have to manually switch from 480i to 480p in the Wii menu; the console will not automatically switch from one to the other if you simply change the cord. The problem with this is you can't make the switch while still using the composite cable, you have to be using the component. As such, if you have to switch it manually... when you boot up the console while using the the component cable for the first time, there is no image on the screen. I found myself switching back and forth between cables trying to memorized the process to make the manual switch, no easy task I assure you, especially with motion sensitive controls. After roughly 20 minutes of blind pointing and clicking, I finally managed to make the switch. As previously stated, the difference is clearly noticeable. Hopefully I'm one of few who have had this problem, and I wouldn't be surprised to learn that there was an obvious detour that I somehow managed to overlook. On the other hand... quite a design flaw if that happens to be the case for all.』

(Got rid of one AV)
『These cables do there job. I have have noticed some improvement in color, I have only played a few games some of the games look much better while others only have slight improvement. The best thing is that I have one less AV to plug in. Most new TV's, typically have one AV and one component, and of course some HDMI's so I am happy I dont have to switch as many cables.』

(fantastic cables)
『These cables doing wonder! It will generate more vibrant colors and better picture when using these component cables. Doing fantastic so far.

(Makes a big difference.)
『I really like these cables. They make the Wii look much better on my 1080p HDTV.』

(Wii Component Cable - J. Escobar)
『Even if the Wii console is the weakest of the actual generation of consoles, 480p mode makes a very noticeable difference. This cable is very well made and is the best of the available options for this console.

If you didn't know, this cable is the only way to activate 480 Progressive Scan Mode or 480P. For large CRT or LCD sets this mode is a MUST BUY. This cable outputs a much cleaner signal that results in less artifact and more accurate color, also increases the scan lines of the signal, doubling the quality of the signal.

Anybody will notice the improvement, even on GAMECUBE software the improvement is massive. 100% recommended.』

『The Wii Component Cable links your Wii console to your TV, allowing you to view and enjoy your games with the best possible image display. Component video splits the signal into three separate channels of video information for the ultimate connection quality. The cable includes five connectors - three for video, and two for left and right stereo audio.』

(Smash Up WII game)
『Bought this for my Grandson and he is thoroughly enjoying it. My one and only problem?? For some unknown reason on standard delivery it took 12 days to get here? Come on!』

(Turtles Going what they love kicking butt)
『This is the really second great beating up game on the Wii. Their are good one. But for the 8 to 13 years ols this one and Super Smash Bros. Braw are great for them. This takes a little from Super Smark. But leaves a little out. The replay value is great and will keep the kids glue to the console for hours. But these two on your holiday list and set a time limit or you never see your kids again for hours.』

(Not Smash, but surprisingly fun)
『A lot of reviewers have compared Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash Up to Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and I think the comparison is pretty good. The gameplay feels a lot like Super Smash Bros. Brawl, even going so far as incorporating strong "A button" moves. I think if you like Smash and want more, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash Up would be a good addition.

A lot of reviewers have criticized this game for not having a lot of characters. I think there's some truth to that, but not a whole lot. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash Up does have fewer characters initially, but there are at least 10 secret characters. Some of these have been revealed online, but a few haven't (if you look at the game website, you'll see at least 6 question marks for additional secret characters). I have no idea if these secret characters are going to be exciting additions, like Leatherhead but it's too early to tell.

Also, let's remember that Super Smash Bros. Brawl had more characters, but less than half were even decent and most were lousy. Whenever I played with my friends, we tended to only use about 3 characters each. Frankly, adding a bunch of Jigglypuffs to the character roster did not really do much for me. By contrast, with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash Up, I get the sense that most of the characters are roughly equivalent and good to play with.

This game also has a few innovations not seen in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I like the stages a lot better. More room to fight, as well as more interaction between the stage and the characters. In one stage, a giant alligator will eat your character if you're not careful. Also, the characters can hang onto walls.

At the end of the day, is this game as good as Super Smash Bros. Brawl? Probably not. Smash was a unique game. However, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash Up is fun in its own right and worth trying if you want more Smash-style playing or different characters.』

(Very disappointing)
『I was extremely excited when I heard this game was coming out, and better yet, was being made by the same people that created Smash Bros.! I'm a huge fan of TMNT so I eagerly awaited it to come to stores, and when I got off work the day it was released I went straight to the store to buy it. Well I was in for a surprise. NO fighting style like super smash bros, the items you use are crappy, character movement is slow, and the comic-strip/movie style instead of decent animation is not fun, or cool. This was originally a good idea to start with.. TMNT fighting game created by the people that made the legendary Super Smash Bros, but.. they failed. It's a fun game if your looking for one to rent or borrow from a friend. But I would not recommend buying this. Stick with smash brothers on this one.』

(Like the old times)
『I played this video game with may little brother, and it's like de old times, when we played the TMNT for nintendo. It is a good video game, a little more complicate than the others, but you will have a good time.』
『This four-player fighting game features the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as their enemies and friends, in melee battles. Choose from a wide variety of classic TMNT heroes and villains, each with unique acrobatic moves, weapons and combat skills that will come in handy during the free-for-all brawls. Not only can you immerse yourself in the world of TMNT through the story mode, you can also challenge your friends at home or online in a variety of multiplayer modes including tournament, battle royal, and more!』
『The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back, and they're ready to deliver a smashing good time. In celebration of the 25th anniversary of these heroes in a half-shell, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash-Up brings the Turtles swinging back into action for a thrilling new original adventure. Get ready to shout "Cowabunga!" as you brawl your way across a series of environments, dispatching enemies with true TMNT flair.

(Takes a while to get used to)
『I must admit, I am not that good a player of the NFS. With that, this game takes awhile to get used to. Add to it the slow responsiveness of the game to the Wii remote, and sometimes you are puzzled what's happening on the screen. Unless you're pretty well experienced with NFS, don't go for the Wii version, would be my take.』

(Good Game)
『This was a gift for my husband, he has all the need for speed games for PS2. He played this for awhile but then got bored with it. I'm not sure why. It seems like a really fun game and my friends 5 year old likes to play it for fun.』

(NO WHEEL, HOW LAME)
『It's a pretty cool game, but not being able to use the wheel pretty much ruins it for me. If I had known that, I wouldn't have bought it.』

(Why so dark and gloomy??)
『I'll admit for the first month I was hooked. But that was because of the races, nothing else. I hated the fact that it was never daylight. It was also always raining. Also, if you met one cop, then more were on you in a flash. Plus, in real you can't knock down ater towers w/ your car, especially without getting scratched. I just hope nfs nitro's graphics are better.』

(Don't get it for the Wii wheel)
『One of the reasons I picked up this game is that I was looking for something else to make use of the Nerf Wii Wheel peripheral that so far I've only been using with Speed Racer. Now, I've only played it for two days, but in that time I have learned two things. One is that the game is generally pretty fun and the other is that the default "steering wheel" style control scheme is an unmitigated disaster. It is possible to control the car only in the loosest sense of the word, in the same way that if you shake a box with a cat inside you could be said to be "controlling" the cat. Yes, your actions affect its movement, but not in any kind of predictable or repeatable way. It's not a matter of the tilt being too sensitive or not sensitive enough; somehow it is both. Your car won't turn enough, until after the turn is over, at which point it will curve straight into a wall even though you have straightened the wheel. I've seen it said that there is a learning curve here, and maybe if I could figure out exactly when in the turn I ought to stop turning my car even though the turn is not done yet, there would some way to do it. But I suspect that by the time I mastered such a thing, the experience would bear little resemblance to operating a steering wheel anyway. Furthermore, I believe a simple thing like maneuvering a virtual car around a corner while not even at top speed should not require a learning curve tantamount to landing the space shuttle. Call me crazy, but that is just how I was raised.

At first I feared the game, though graphically gorgeous (for the Wii anyway) would be completely unplayable. There is no excuse for control this disastrous (especially when the Wii's other racers prove it's possible), and I can only conclude that the guys at EA simply failed to crack the problem. Maybe there is some specific issue with their physics model, which was designed to be controlled by an analog stick, that cannot be ported over to a tilting controller without destroying the fabric of the game. I don't know.

Happily, there are 5 control schemes here to choose from. One of them involves tilting the nunchuck, which works marginally better than the Wiimote (imagine an angry cat on a leash instead of in a box), but twisting a nunchuck is nothing like using a steering wheel anyway, so why bother? The last two options involve steering with the analog stick, which is an absolute delight, especially after an hour of slamming your unruly car into walls with your Wii wheel. The analog stick steering is, in fact, especially good, and furthermore, the Wiimote throttle control, in which you tilt the controller like a gas pedal, works like a charm. Yes, it sounds counterintuitive and completely stupid, but in fact it triggered an epiphany -- the key to racing, especially in these games, is actually not steering at all. After all, any idiot can steer (once he is using a sensible control scheme and not one that is fundamentally broken); one usually blows a race by trying to take a turn too fast. This is because mastering finesse with the gas, brake and handbrake are the key to success. Once I tried control scheme 5 (4 is nice too, as it tethers the Wiimote to brake/reverse as well as gas, but unfortunately the handbrake is operated by jerking back on the nunchuck, which doesn't seem to do anything), I found myself commanding the throttle and handbrake with an assurance and precision I had never experienced playing NFS with a conventional controller. In fact, it works so well, I wondered if EA's programmers had consciously not bothered to perfect steering wheel controls, so certain were they that the weird nunchuck-analog/Wiimote gas pedal scheme was superior.

So yes, the game is playable and so far, a lot of fun on the Wii -- not just in spite of, but even due to, the Wii's unique controls. But not the ones you expect. And if you're interested in getting more use out of your Wii Wheel here, forget it.』

A streamlined focus on game physics has resulted in a truly authentic racing experience, as each of the game's three distinct car classes have been designed to maximize differentiation and enhance performance.

Over 50 rides to drive and customize
Carbon offers more than 50 custom rides in three distinct classes: Tuner, Exotic, and Muscle -- each with unique attributes. Muscle are best on straightaways, of which there are precious few in Palmont.Need for Speed: Carbongives you the power to design and tweak your car in every way - including over 300 different parts - using the ground-breaking new Autosculpt technology. As with other racing games you hold either end of the Wii Controller and tilt it to steer your car. If you'd rather not take the motion-control plunge EA thoughtfully provides five different steering configurations, including using the Nunchuk's analog stick. Our advice is to forget about old school -- the Wii Remote is the way to go. How did we ever enjoy racing games before it was invented?

    Birds of a fuel-injected feather
New to Need for Speed in this generation are the three kinds of wingmen (and yes, that's what the game calls them). Scouts search for shortcuts. Blockers create distractions and slow rivals. Drafters give you a second of speed boost for every second you can stay behind them. All three also give you moral support via wireless communications. Scouts are most useful the first few times you run a course. Drafters are of limited use on Palmont's twisting thoroughfares. Practically indespensible are Blockers, who are always willing to lay their precious paint jobs on the line so you can cross the finish line first. Now that's true friendship.

In total,Need for Speed: Carbontakes racing on the Wii to the next generation, and never looks back. With extensive customization, multiplayer options, revolutionary control, and an intriguing story, owners of the Wii may not be able to put this title down for a long, long time.

    (Great Solution!)
『I bought Rock Band 2 when it first came out and within a month, they had to send me new drum pads because the red and yellow ones bubbled to the point where they didn't register the hits anymore. I got the new drum pads installed and about 6 months later, they started doing the same thing. Since I was out of warranty, I picked up these, hoping they would mask the bubbling. They have exceeded above and beyond my expectations! Not only have they stopped the bubbling, but you can't even tell the drum pads below them have bubbled. They've also been excellent in reducing the noise as the foam absorbs the shock. These silencers "elevate" the pad a bit so it reduces accidental hits on the plastic as well. Definitely worth the money!』

    (Works as expected)
『Purchased these drum silencers back in 2008. They work as expected and were installed without any modifications. The sound of the drumming is reduced and they do not seem to have affected the game play (Wii). I recommend this product.』

    (Silence is relative)
『These pads aren't magic. They won't silence your drum hits, and they won't give you the bounce of a real drum head. However, they're definitely an improvement over the stock drums, and their price is good.

I went ahead and popped off the drum heads and unscrewed the rims, and I'd recommend that for anyone else considering these. Other reviews can give you better instructions on that.』

(they do what they're meant to)
『The drum silencers work great. They drastically reduce the noise while playing Rock Band, making it an even more enjoyable experience.』

    (Not thrilling but good)
『Yes it dose reduce the noise, it gives a good feeling when you hit the
drum, but sometimes it makes you skip a beat!』

『The easy and effective way to eliminate excess impact noise. Cut-to-fit the RockBand drum. Silencers can be removed without causing damage to the drum.』

    (Not much of a party)
『Well, this game is great to try out only because the games used are fun games in real life, and the use of the WII remote is somewhat interesting, but I would rent it at most. I'm 27 and I doubt inviting friends over to play this would spark any interest even accompanied with consumption of alcoholic beverages. Honestly, if I invited my 10 year old neighbors over I would probably have to further entice them with juice boxes, candy and possibly even cash to play this game. I was intrigued at the store, decided to try it for the money. It was fun to try and see how they used the WII controller to play the various games, but multiplayer at the competition level, this game is undeniably a waste. You can master any of the games in a matter of 30 minutes, or faster, controls are so weirdly insensitive. Younger children may find this game more amusing than me but I could still imagine myself 10 years ago saying how ridiculous this bundle of games is and probably end up chucking it out the window in hopes that maybe my dog will enjoy playing with the disc. All in all, rent it before buying.』

(The worst wii game I have played.)
『The method of play is repetitive in that you play every game exactly the same with the exception of slight arm variation. The games themselves are far more boring than wii play and certainly wii resort or like-minded party games. On top of this, the game has glitches that prevents players from consistent play on timed games. Overall, just really subpar.』

    (Fun, But Really Repetitive)
『This game should be banned by the AMA due to causing the proliferation of carpal tunnel. Although fun, every single one of the games has almost the identical hand movement - whether underhand or overhand, you are always moving the Wii remote with the same motion. After playing with my son for about 30 min, I had to take a break and my wrist still aches tonight.

The games are pretty good - although some of them are pretty finicky with a fine line between throwing too hard and too soft. Lawn darts (and I assume horse shoes, which we haven't tried yet) is hard to judge as the dart goes up off the screen and then hits - you just have to guess how hard to throw until you get it right. Skiball seems almost too easy - I just threw the ball as often as I could with a nice, straight motion and I could regularly score above 1000 (which I can't do in real life). The football, toss on the other hand, was almost impossible - at least the first time around.

So for $20, this is probably a good value. Lots of different games, multi-player tournament mode, and the ability to play for tickets to buy more characterization tools are all bonuses. Just be careful how much you play. In my opinion, no matter how touchey the controls or how difficult the game at the onset, it isn't anything that you can't improve on to the point that the game can be quite enjoyable. Just know going into it that you aren't getting some polished $49.99 game and you won't be disappointed.』

(Fussy to set up but a good variety of games)
『After playing the original games the Wii came with, this was a little fussier to set up. We also had to break some habits and develop new skills. There are enough games to not get bored quickly, and they are different from the original CD. Overall, it's a good game with which to whet the electronic gaming appetite.』

    (A Good Variety of Games)
『I got this because I was looking for something that had all your typical amusement games, or, what I call bar games. It has darts, shuffleboard, skiball, lawn darts and more. It is a great little collection of games for the price. It does take a few times to understand the rules and scoring (how I learned to play was different that in the game). The only down side is that you can't use your own Miis and the characters in the game have annoyingly repetitive movements. Otherwise, this is a great game for a small gathering.』
『Game Party 2 is the ultimate Wii party game for players of all ages and skill levels. Game Party 2 features new games like Bean Bag Toss and Horseshoes, as well as classics like Shuffleboard and Hoop Shoot. Every game has exciting new features like four player mode, customizable characters and tournament play, making Game Party 2 the family favorite party game.』
