He loves it - the moves are very intuitive. I'm not much of a gamer and I can do it. The "Join In" feature is great. His dad or I can ply for a few minutes, then jump out again. The graphics and sound are good, and the play is interesting. The only complaint I have is that you can't skip the cut away scenes. All in all this game is great for the whole family! I'm a big Spidey game fan so I thought I'd give this a shot. It is terrible. First of all, it's Spidey so you'd expect to be able to do a lot of web swinging. Wrong. You can swing, but the web line just goes straight up, you swing about 6 inches off the ground and 5 feet forward, and drop down. And, you can run just as fast as swinging so what's the point? Spidey's attacks are limited and do very little damage. The gameplay itself is so repetitive. All you do is walk, beat up a few bad guys, walk, beat up the same exact bad guys, walk some more, and beat up the same bad guys. It's easy, but every time you encounter some bad guys, you're forced to wait 5 seconds so you can watch them appear. Trust me, that gets old fast. The bosses are all Spidey's enemies that are possesed by shards of the symbiote and after he beats them they become his allies and you can use them as your partner. The only thing that actually changes in the game is the scenery. Even the game Spider-man 3 was more interesting, and that doesn't say much. Don't waste your money on this game. Totally fun. Nice graphics, the voicework/dialogue is unexpectedly funny. The action is not too intense for kids and the play-control is not hard for kids to understand. I have fun playing it, but more importantly, my 5-yr-old has a blast. The game is not so difficult to be frustrating, but not so easy to be boring. Each area has levels, bonus points, game structure is logical and accessible. It's a 2-player game that allows for special team moves and finishes, and it rewards teamwork. Playing with/against villains from Spidey's world is a thrill for the kids. I have had the game for about two months and just finished it. It was a lot of fun. I have been getting games for my two young girls and wanted something for me this time, and I was not disappointed. Even my 6 year old had fun playing. It could have been a little harder and yet I am not complaining. Go buy and enjoy. This is a fun and exciting game. My son thinks this is a lot of fun and loves moving up the levels and switching characters. Great pad for the money... when compared with the cheap third-party mat I already own, the Konami pad is much better quality, and slightly larger too. The non-skid bottom means the mat doesn't bunch up- even on carpet. For the average DDR player, this pad will hold up fine. Just do yourself a favor and buy some extension cables so you can put some space between yourself and your Wii console! This dance mat for DDR is exactly the same as the one that comes with the game! This game is low quality from start to finish. The options, graphics, playability, everything is poor. DO NOT buy it. This game is very realistic. nothing like old duck hunt. you actually train your dog, make duck calls and sit in a blind. ducks come close only once in a while and then when you get one, you have to make your dog go get it. very very real sounds you feel like you are in the duck blind I got this along with Big Game Hunter and thought the movements and controls would be about the same as Big Game Hunter, but it is, to me, a little less fun. You can't "look around" with just a simple movement of the remote, you have to use the nunchuck control to do so. I'm not a big video game player, so for me, there was just too much going on with both hands just to look around and see where the ducks are coming from. But that is just my opinion. I just might not be coordinated enough. I had high hopes for this game, but it was not what I had hoped. As with one other reviewer, I was hoping for something more along the lines of the original duck hunting game featuring clays etc. I like the fact that is teaches good hunting etiquette in that you need to train your dog before you go hunging etc, but it was low on action. If you want a slow paced and patience teaching game, this is pretty good. If you want action, keep looking, that's what I am doing now. I am not one for hunting games. But playing this can actually be really fun once you know what your doing. Patients is a key to hunting in general so just as much as it is in real life it is imposed in the game as well. It's actually fun training your dog which helps because once you are hunting it makes the task easy. I never expected this to be like duck hunt from the orginal 1980's nintendo because that game was good for it's time we are in a new era of gaming and the way they make games goes along with the kind of system it works with. This game does do justice for the wii. If your into hunting and have patients this game is great for you but I do not recommend it for people who want it fast and want it now.
