(Is it really all that BIG?)

(Cool game)

(A Home Run you'll Never Forget)

(DO NOT GET THIS GAME!)

(Best Wii Game Yet!)
If you are looking for a great baseball franchise game or just a good baseball game, you shouldn't buy this game. As advertised on the back of the game case, it is a arcade game version of baseball. Just a warning, be prepared for cheap homeruns and pitches.
This game is a very good video game. The pitches are very relistic beacause when you snapp your wrist and press different buttons, it does pitches like a splitter or meatball. The hitting is also very realistic. But one thing i dont like about this game is that almost everytime u hit, u hit a single strait down the middle.
The BIGS is really a great game. It's a bit more complicated than the baseball game in Wii Sports. OK, a lot more complicated. It takes a little while to get used to the many pitches, swings, and field plays you can do, but once you've got it all down it's a ton of fun.

HITTING: Hitting is very simple. You swing the wiimote like you would if you normally would if you were playing baseball. You can aim your hit left, right, up, or down, and you can even bunt. Also, you can hold down 'A' for a power shot. Your player's statistics will tell you how they're strength in POWER and CONTACT so you can adjust your swing accordingly.

PITCHING: Pitching is a bit more complicated and can make your arm/shoulder a little sore after a while. Basically, you aim your shot in the box over home plate using the nunchuck. You can hold 'Z' to throw a ball outside of the square. Then, you use a meter to try to throw one of NINE pitches in the green or white area on the meter. You swing your wiimote down, downleft, or downright while holding 'A', 'B', or both. If you throw it to far away, it's a ball, but if it's just right and if you throw with the right amount of power it's a perfect pitch, almost impossible to hit. Your player's pitching stats tell you their best pitches and how well they are at each.

RUNNING BASES: Running is automatically done for you, but if you want you can manually control it by using 'Z' to select one of the runners and drum the remote up and down really quickly to make them run faster. You can round bases and advance runners if you feel they don't automatically go far enough, and you can hold 'A' and swing to slide into a base.

FIELDING: When a ball from the opposing team is hit, you have to use the nunchuck and the drumming motion of the wiimote to run to the outlined spot on the field and catch the ball. You can hold 'A' and swing the wiimote to do a diving catch (specifically helpfull in the outfield when the ball is about to be a home run and your player jumps 15 ft into the air to catch the ball!). Fielding is more difficult because your view is looking onto the field as if you were in the stands. You can use 'Z' to switch fielders and once you have the ball, you hold 'A' and swing left, right, up, or down depending on which base you want to throw to to get the runner out.

Most other things will be done automatically such as catching throws from other players and tagging runners at the base. However, it always seems like the opposing computer team always does better at fielding. The game is unfortunately a bit unrealistic because I pratically get a hit with every batter and I've gotten up to 12 runs before in one game. It's still really fun though, especially in Rookie mode where you can create your own player and do whatever it takes to make them the star of the game.

The other really important part is the Power Play Meter which builds up depending on moves you make in the game such as strikeouts, hits, runs, etc. Once this builds up to 10,000 you can perform a Power Play or Dead Heat where for a hitter you get an automatic home run if you make contact with the ball, or for a pitcher automatic strikeouts.

Overall, The BIGS isn't exactly as realistic as I'd hoped, but you can choose from any team in the MLB and play games and do the Rookie Challenge or Home Run Derby. After a little bit of practice you'll understand it all, but it does take some work to figure out all the options and button combinations. It's a lot of fun and keeps you going for hours. If you like baseball, it's great, and gamers looking to take advantage of the Wii are in for great fun.

If you are a hardcore baseball fan, little kid, or anybody else, DO NOT GET THIS GAME! I like Wii Sports Baseball better than this. 1st of all, the hitting. Everytime you hit the ball, it goes to center field and you get a single. You can't hit a stinkin' homerun unless you have enough points. The graphics are terrible. Everybody looks the exact same. With the Wii remote, you have to flick the ball to the base you want it to go to. How can you get it to go to 2nd, and not home? YOU CAN'T!!!!! If you purchase this game, you will be dissapointed. Get MLB Power Pros instead. It's easier and much cooler than The Bigs or should I say The Worst Baseball Game EVER!
I loved this game and am very disappointed I had to rent it and can't find it anywhere. It is great and fun to play, it takes a while to understand it all but after you get the hand of it is very fun. You can even trade players to make the teams as they are now.
The Bigs elevates America's favorite pastime to new heights with the larger-than-life ballparks, heroic gameplay, and incredible player models. Setting this MLB experience aside from anything you've ever seen before are spectacular power-ups, stunning special effects, and a totally unique career mode. Featuring fantastic pitching, batting and fielding animations, The Bigs brings new meaning to the term highlight reel. Jump into the game yourself with create-a-player mode Multiplayer online support for up to four people Pinball-inspired action mode lets you mix things up a little

(Their only selling point WAS they beat Mario Kart Wii to market...terrible game!)

(Don't waste your money)

(Why do they hate us so much?)

(Buy Something Else)

(Not impressed)
Brutal, absolutely brutal. Difficult to learn to play and lousy graphics and bad game once you finally get the hang of it anyway. Mario Kart for Wii (not surprisingly) is so much better I can't begin to tell you. In fact any thought of a comparison is not even fair - this game isn't close. Save your money on this one!
It was very difficult to control the kart. The design is dark and boring. There is no hint or instruction on how to advance to next level. There is no instruction on how to unlock tracks and karts. Time and money wasted totally. If you want to feel frustrated, play this game.
That's the only thing I could think of. M&Ms hates us all and never wants us to play video games again.

The controls are terrible. The tracks are a mess. You get caught on every little thing along the edges of the tracks and guess what? No reverse! You want to fling the Wii remote at the screen in rage after just a few attempts at making a circuit. The graphics are uninspired and the audio is wretched. My kids refused to put it back in after one play session.

Save your money! Save your sanity! Save yourselves! Do not buy this game!

My kids (14/9/8) received this game for our Wii at Christmas. They had a very difficult time learning how to play so they did not want to play it. I sat down with them and we picked up the hang of the game. It was very difficult for me to play because of the way the game is set up. We played on a large flat screen TV and in dual mode, I could hardly tell where I was supposed to drive. Most racing games have a map feature that tracks where you are on the track and lets you anticipate the turns. This game not only does not have this, it puts messaging across the screen disrupting your view. In addition, some of the darker areas were like driving in a tunnel and I could hardly see where I was going.

The M&M characters were cute but this is too hard for younger kids to master and poorly designed to call it a racing game. Strongly recommend a do not buy.

It's difficult to control the cars, and the many obstacles in the path of the included "courses" become frustrating very quickly. My older son who enjoys other racing games tired of this one after a few plays.

Not reccommended.

Fasten your seat belts for the exciting new action racing game, M&M's Kart Racing! M&M's Kart Racing breathes new life into the arcade racing by combining the adventure elements (collecting items on the race track) and high speed racing with the funny and parodic style of candy competition. Compete against other players on 10 different race tracks and collect unique bonus items on each level. Outrageous stunt combinations including jumps, 2 wheel rides, and turbo speeds ESRB Rated RP for Rating Pending

(great controller)

(1st class controller for the price)

(Wii 2.4 ghz wireless controler)

(Good Controller)

(Great alternative to the wavebird...)
I got this controller for my 12 year old son for his birthday. He loves it and I like the nice design. He says it has a 20-30 ft ramge so he can sit far away from the tv and game. I recommend it.

My daughter loves this controller. It feels like a sturdy well made item. She took to it right away. Nearly no learning curve. It's Being wireless, means she doesn't have to sit on the floor. It is actually smaller than it appears in the pics. A good size for small hands. It sips the batteries. It's a great controller for those of us unwilling to give up on their game-cube games.
The product works great with the Wii System. Easy to set up and use. Works with about 90% of the wii games.
Overall it is a good controller, but Megaman 9 Does not support this controller. Basically this is a GC controller with the shape of a Classic Controller.

It does what is says, except for support for all VC games.

I wanted a controller to use with the wii system for my old gamecube games. I was considering the wavebird controller (which is still around $30!), but then I saw this guy. Very comfortable to use, smaller and more stylish than the wavebird. My only issue was that the buttons aren't in the same places as on the original gamecube controller, that takes some getting used to. Battery life is around 10-11 hours, so be sure to use rechargeable AAA's. Be sure to read the manual to understand everyting this thing can do, since there are some options for customizing button functions. Overall a really great buy!
Today more and more game launches for the Wii are retro hits or golden oldies originally created for the likes of Nintendo NES, Nintendo Super NES, Nintendo, 64 and Nintendo GameCube. Thrustmaster has created a game pad that will allow gamers to use one game pad for multiple genres of games. The T-Wireless NW is the first programmable and vibrating wireless gamepad allowing users to play Virtual Console, GameCube and Wii games on the Wii! It uses 2.4GHz wireless technology which provides a very respectable 10 meters range. Wireless play is the buzz word in gaming today! The T-Wireless NW is fully programmable thanks to the "Mapping" function which allows users to reassign all buttons, mini-sticks and the D-pad to ensure a truly customized gaming experience. There are also two functions which will really help gamers maximize their gaming experience: "Slow" which allows the player to slow down action and "Turbo" which means the player only needs to press a button to get a power boost rather than making multiple and rapid thumb presses. To top it all off, this gamepad has great ergonomics with a shape that is natural to hold. The rubber coated handles and joysticks ensure superior grip and comfort too.

(A Rechargable Solution That Works)

(Works for me)

(Reliable charger)

(It works great IMO)

(Works Perfectly)
I'm always suspicious of third party solutions for consoles... especially for Nintendo consoles. I've been burned time and again on "Company X" solutions for consoles. So, my purchase of this item (I bought two) without really knowing too much about it was extremely sketchy.

Well, I'm happy to say it really does work. Right out of the box, my wife replaced the battery covers with these and dropped the controllers into the bays and Voila, no need to keep a ridiculous amount of AA's in the house!

For the price I purchased them for, it's already paid for itself in battery savings. I've not used any other solution, but these have worked out for my family. And we play the Wii religiously. And as a Bonus, the Blue/Red LED lights on the front (the two red lightning-bolts you see in the pic) are almost hypnotizing.

If you found this item for a good price, definitely get it.

Maybe some of the confusion is coming from the fact that the Wii has to be on in order for the charger to work. That wasn't readily apparent to me, and since I got that squared away, this hasn't given me any big problems.
I have a nyko dual charger and added this one because I have three wiimotes. It seems like it holds a charge as well as the nyko charging station.

Its most significant flaw is that it plugs into the wii. It's getting a little crowded back there.

Yeah, its a little tricky getting the battery to fit for it to charge. I was pretty upset until I figured out that you have to mess with it to fit just right. But with a little jiggling the light shows red, meaning its charging. I bought one to try it out and had to buy another one a month later. That and had some friends wanting one, because the battery life of the wii remote is terrible. This product works like a charm for me. That and its a bargain. Id spend this much on two packs of batteries that would last me a little over a month. Just buy it.
I don't know what problem you're having, mine works. You just wait till the light changes from red to blue, then SECURELY put it into the Wii remote. The only problem is that it is very hard to snap the battery into place. Otherwise, I have no idea why it doesn't work for you.
ezGear powerplay Wii rechargeable battery and charger. Never let the fun stop with the ezGear rechargeable battery pack for Wii. Includes 1 rechargeable battery and charging base.

(Very Addicting)

(Sims 2 Review)

(Fun and addicting!)

(fun game)

(Great Game)
This game is very addicting!! Once you get past the controls - you use both the remote and nunchuck - it is a very fun game!! It is almost exactly like the computer game which I like. I just can't get the cheat for the money to work. I would definately suggest this game to anyone who likes the Sims.
I really like this Sims game because it makes you gain pactience. The animals are very cute, and the extras are really fun.
I find this game to be quite addicting (in a good way)! Without noticing, I can spend hours taking control of the lives of the Sims characters, while ensuring they take care of their pet and each other. Unlike some reviewers, I found the control scheme to work just fine, even better than on a PC, once you actually spend the time to LEARN them. They actually become second nature once you've actually played the game for any length of time. It's fun and challenging to keep the Sims happy and motivated, and working on the home and yard design and layout is significant!

I enjoy games with almost infinite replay value (including many sports games), and this is one of the best I've played on the Wii so far. Now that EA has announced Sims Animals for this fall, I might have to pick that up, as well as Animal Crossing: City Folk this holiday!

the game is a lot of fun and my kids love it only we were dissapointed that it is really only a one player game.
I like the game play as much as any Sims game I've played, but the controls are a bit clunky and difficult.

customer 's review
(It's Ok, but surely any pilot in WWII had to fight against too many planes at the same time)
There must be better ways in the design of this game to put it hard to play instead of puting so many planes (like flys) against one which is not very real. The battle of England was the hardest the british fought in WWII and it was one british plane against 4 germans. In this game is one plane in the middle of hundred of flys. It could be more real to fight against few very skilled pilots instead of many and many which is impossible to know who is who and where their fire comes from.
The way you handle the plane is more or less real but they should put the players to take off the planes controlling speed and aceleration like with a real plane.

Go back in time and join the pilots in WWII Aces for the Wii system. Roll, loop, dodge and shoot like an Ace with simple motion controls. Fly alone or with a friend via split-screen co-op as you join the ranks of the Royal Air Force, Soviet Air Force, or Luftwaffe. Pilot 12 authentic airplanes through multiple campaigns based on real-life events. Or, take on your friend in thrilling competitive multiplayer. Immerse yourself in the intense dogfighting and acrobatic maneuvers that's typical of the World War II years. Execute barrel rolls, loops, and last-second dodges with a flick of the Wii Remote, or attach the Nunchuck addition for a more realistic control scheme.

Real Planes - WWII Aces features the planes that turned the skies over Europe into a killing field. Get behind the guns of legendary planes such as the Spitfire, Ju-87 Stuka, Mosquito and He-11. Fly in the battles that shifted the balance of the war, including Dunkirk and the Battle of the Bulge
