Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (All you need is a breeze.) 『I purchased this game for my nieces who are 5&7. They first played it at a friends house and loved it, loved it, loved it. This really has a fun factor: all you need is a breeze to feel you're really riding.』
(Not that Good.) 『I LOVE horses and I just bought this game. I thought that it would be easy to control, because I ride horses. but the controls are REALLY sensitive, so if you bring your hand up a little bit higher than the other one when you want to go straight, it will take you in another direction. If you want to go to the right or left, it doesn't let you. I only play because I have the smallest chance of getting better. I like dressing and grooming the horses and people, but riding is too hard and frustrating. I quit a lot because of how frustrating it is. If you want to get a horse game, get something else.』
(Not that much fun!) 『Very restricted, not that much fun. Maybe for someone who doesn't have a horse or never been around horses. Very dissapointing!』
(OK game...) 『I got this game as a gift and well, I was pretty lost with the whole concept... at first. Once the training games were over and I got through the "beginners" stage (the five stages are: beginner, ametur, semi- pro, professinal, elite) I was ready for the next level. The whole idea of this nunchuk remote thing wasn't ABC easy. Actually it was pretty difficult. However, once you've competed in 2 or 3 races it isn't so hard. After you've done one profile don't try another one. It's sorta a repeat of many things. Defintally parents don't make this the first game your child gets for the Wii. Overall this game is maybe for 8-12 year olds.』
(Not worth it) 『This game is ok, if you enjoy being talked to like a five year old. I found the controls very confusing and hard. it is not very realistic. For me it wasn't worth it. If you have patience, unlike me, then you might like this game. But I really don't think very highly of it』 『Delivering the equestrian life, from sports and leisure riding to horse care, My Horse and Me is a unique gaming experience for anyone with an interest or passion for horses. I am not really sure what the whole concept of the game is except to win at bull riding or be the bull. But, it is a fun game to play and it would be great for playing with guests.』
(Great fun for PBR fans!) 『My youngest kids really enjoy "being" the bull. They also enjoy pretending to be a professional bullrider.』
(Have they even seen bullriding before?) 『Oh come on! This could have been a great game. The problem with this is that it's obviously been created by someone who has only heard of bullriding through rough description. I've actually riden a few bulls myself, and will have to say that this is the laziest result that they could have produced! First, all the riders are right-handed riders. In reality, most riders are left-handed riders because you balance with your non-riding hand. Anyway, letting you select which hand to ride with, like in reality, would have been a simple step, and quite do-able, but the pure laziness of the game developers played a part here. Next, it's virtually impossible to get thrown off! Maybe if you're five and don't like loosing, this game may be for you. But if you've already started to develop fine motor skills, you'll find this game to be quite boring. I actually didn't touch the controller for one of my rides, to see what would happen, and my character stayed on!!! Next, since bull-riding is about balance, this would have been a perfect game for the Wii. Hand movements should be used to constantly reposition yourself on the bull, like in real life. However, again, lazy programmers just have you moving a joystick around. This game is probably the greatest game that could have been, but never was. Thanks Crave Entertainment, for screwing up a game that should have been a no-brainer.
Let's just hope that PBR gives their license to a different company in the future, and they can actually put a bit of effort into this. This could be a great game. This should be a great game. But, for all intents and purposes, it just isn't.』
(Out of the Chutes) 『This game was very interesting to my whole family. It is very hard to play. There is no member of our family that has been able to play this game well at all. It is very difficult to play. Wish it had better instruction on how to play.』
(PBR: Out of the Chute) 『The game wasn't what my son thought it would be. I thought there would be more action/moving around to the game. But it is fun to play as the bull and try to knock off your opponent. It is fun to play as some of the famous riders and bulls. It just wasn't what we had expected that it would be. I was very pleased with the drum set and how sturdy it was and how sturdy the cymbals were. I quickly assembled the set while following the directions and began playing. To my great dismay, the cymbals on the right (which are on one single support) were not able to stay in place and fell while I was playing due to the weight of the cymbals, which was exacerbated by my playing. I put it back in place and the process repeated. The quickest solution I found (though unattractive) was to use a small bit of tape around the base of the cymbal "tree" to keep in in place. I did that to both cymbal "trees" for good measure. Other than that problem, I have no complaints about the cymbal expansion. They are very responsive and provide an excellent alternative to the drum heads for the creative type. One issue that many complain about is the noise of the drum heads. What they should complain about is the noise of the cymbals, which, when struck, can be quite loud and/or very annoying (especially to a college roommate...). Unfortunately, there are no mutes that I am aware of. Maybe problem solving will fix this too. Though they definitely add to the fun factor, I recommend them more to the people who wouldn't mind thinking outside of the box with regards to the issue of the cymbals falling and the noise.』
(More realisim, More playability) 『The Rock Band drum set is about what you would expect for $75. It allows you to play the game, and with practice, you can get pretty good at it. But real drum sets have CYMBALS. Not only are they more realistic, but they are easier to play, since the target is the edge, not the center.
I upgraded to the cymbals as quickly as I could. The cymbals are very nice, looking and working well, without too much stick noise. The mounts are good at holding the cymbals in the selected position, but are not very flexible in placement. Pretty much the only adjustment you have is height, and not much of that on 2 of the cymbals. Also, there is no capability for tilt.
Once installed, I noticed a significant improvement in my drum scores. It is just easier to hit the cymbals than the drum pads, particularly if you are looking at the screen and not at the drum set.
Plus, it just looks cooler.
I would say that if you have Rock Band, you need to get this kit. The cymbals are as good as the game deserves, and the mounts are adequate. Better mounts, if they ever offer them or you can make them, would be suggested』
(You NEED the cymbals) 『The cymbal extension is must have for Rock Band. After getting the cymbals my scores went up at least 20%. It adds a touch of reality to a already kickin' game.』
(Great addition but not flawless) 『I really like these cymbals, but I have 2 issues with them. One, they are noisy. I play an electronic drum kit at church and the cymbals are much quieter when I hit them. Secondly, the additional weight made the whole kit slowly slip down until they were too low to play. I ended up drilling the support poles and putting cotter pins in them to keep the kit from slipping. Overall, though I think these are great.』
(great expansion) 『I haven't quite got used to the cymbols but it does make the drum set feel realitic, shipping was fast and the quality was new just as advertised. I am enjoying the addition to the rock band2 drum set very well couldn't be happier』 『Mad Catz¿ Rock Band 2 Double Cymbal Expansion Kit provides the means for you to drum like the pros do with velocity- sensitive Crash, Ride, and Hi-Hat cymbals. I found that Mind over Mutant is just about right for me. It is neither too easy nor too hard, and I cannot wait to get to each level to see what is going on next. So while this game may not be for everyone, it is a good match for me.』
(Crash) 『I have purchased the Crash Bandicoots for my Gamecube, and now have the Crash for my Wii. I really like this game, and find myself entertained for hours. I would recommend this game to anyone who wants to have fun !!』
(Perfect for some fun) 『My roommate and I picked this game up as a rental remembering how much fun the original was. I was thrilled to see that this version is just as much fun!
Yes, some of the cartoons are a little cheesy, but after you get past the first bit, they don't show up so frequently. I was a little dismayed that they "force" you to watch through the animated bits - until I figured out that it's a two button combination to skip. (Plus sign, then A).
No, it's not a game set up for the serious, hardcore gamer - but if you're like us and are just looking for something you can play for fun for a few hours, then it works great. You don't lose your place, and it's easy to pick up again later.』
(A great one!) 『Excellent for 9 to 11 year old boys. My kids and their friends love it.』
(A good game, but very short) 『I got Crash; Mind over Mutants for Christmas and found it to be a very fun game. The controls are easy, with decent graphics and a good storyline. There were a variety of lands, although for the most part your kept on a path that takes to to and from places allowing little exploration.
Crash was also dissapointingly easy and short. I beat the game after only five hours of gameplay, during which I don't think that my character died in combat once (save for the times I accidently fell off the side). On a simliar note to its difficulty, there are no 'lives' in this game. If you die, you appear where you died again. No getting sent back to start, not penalities, nothing. To some this may be a good thing, but it was a dissapointment to me.
I would recommend renting this game. Younger children will enjoy it, but teens and adults will probably grow bored with its easy gameplay.』 『Crash is back! (Not a child friendly game.) 『Don't buy this game unless you have tons of time to beat the system. If you can't beat the system then you only have 15 games to play not 30. This is not recommended for children. Really too hard. Company should allow you to get to the other games even if you can't beat the first ones.』

Work Your Way Through Loads of Fun Gamers should start off with the single-player Challenge mode. There are also five themes that gamers will need to master, including: shooting, muscle, castle, athletic, and variety. And while some mini-games use the same controls, there is a wide enough selection of random challenges to keep gamers working on their skills to gain mastery.

There's not too much to the game besides a dozen or so 'pages' where you find Waldo and his friends, special objects, and enemies. There is also compare games (what's different between two pictures) and identify where a small picture clip is on the mural.
This game does not have too many scenes / levels and though it offers a few different types of puzzles there are not enough of them to keep you playing the game beyond the first few uses. As noted, it's a bit annoying that you play a puzzle fairly quickly and then have to wait and wait for the game to load this and that.
I jumped on this game because I got bored of Mii Matching on Play - probably will research more before spending nearly $30 on a game next time!』
(Not bad, but wait for a big price drop!) 『I think this should cost $15 or less. At almost $30, it's way overpriced! This review is specifically for the wii version.
There are only 12 scenes and they're taken from the books. Since it's subtitled "The fantastic Journey", I believe the scenes are all from "The Fantastic Journey" book--but I'm not sure on that. Yes, there is some animation and the game does speak most things so it works for kids who can't read. Yes, they did move where people are hidden so it's not a complete waste if you have the book (but the book is totally better!). The book is $8 on amazon (the paperback reissue). Your kids will get a lot more entertainment from the book and you won't have to worry about them scratching a disk!
Pros: --You can do split screen 2 player. --Very well animated. Not everything is animated, but there's always something moving on screen. Great voices. --They do mix up the gameplay with a few ideas like some "what's different in these two pictures" mini games.
Cons: --short game, only 12 scenes --Another draw of the books is that the whole map is spread out in front of you. Here you see a small part of the scene and scroll around. I think the game knows this is a pain because there are many scenes where you can't scroll around (or can only scroll a small area of the whole map). --Oh and finally there are 15 second load screens! You choose your save game, and there's a 15 second load. You the choose your level, and there's a 15 second load. Then there's a lot of game play without load, but when you're comparing to a book--long load time is certainly a strike against the game.
The game is fun and it plays well. I'm sure they spent a lot of money animating it and doing the voice work. But for $30, it's totally not worth it. You can get the complete waldo for $30! Where's Waldo? The Complete Collection Six books for the same price as one short game! This really should have either been a $10 wiiware game with less animation/voice or it should have included at least 3 books worth of stuff!
If you like the search and find puzzle and want a good game for the wii: I suggest "Ultimate I spy" because it takes the I spy books to the next level. Ultimate I Spy The game lasts a bit longer, uses the I spy gameplay but in 3-d, and plays really well.
If I hadn't played the I spy game first, I might have liked the Waldo game better. As far as the Waldo game goes, you can't just take a book and use the same format in a game. You'll just want the book instead. Imagine a movie based on a book that just read every page of the book--totally wouldn't work! I Spy Wii is a game. If you don't have friends that own Wii systems, don't buy Wii speak or its useless to you.
Adults should have the option to speak with everyone, or friends only in M-Rated games. They are for adults after all as rated by the ESRB, so Nintendo should give us the choice to enjoy speaking with multiple people or just simply changing the option to friends only when we feel like it.
You can't do it in the Conduit, and I contacted the game company (High Voltage Software) wondering why they didn't give us the option, but they said that Nintendo restricts them as a third party company from giving such an option in their game.
If they allowed the release of House of the Dead Overkill, with all its curse words (and there are a lot, and they also say other things), then what else can adults here in online games?
Maybe they can give us the option to block certain voices in game options if we don't care to hear from a certain person, but "no", "no no no".
So again, if you don't have friends that own the Wii, don't buy the Wii speak, because it will not work. I haven't used mine yet for this very reason, and until I can, I can't give it any more stars above 1.』
(So much fun, but a little too much feedback) 『The Wii Speak offers a whole new level of fun for games like Animal Crossing: City Folk. However, there's a bit of feedback and a delay that can make it hard to hear the person on the other side. I'm guessing it's just the nature of the technology, but hopefully it'll get better with each new version Wii puts out.』
(Such enormous potential, BUT...) 『over NINE Months after its release, and only TWO games support it? And only another paltry three coming down the pike?*
Sorry, I would absolutely LOVE to buy this for my kids AND for their Wii-owning, same-aged cousins who live 1800 miles away, who are growing up hardly ever getting to see each other. The verbal interactivity that Wii Speak COULD provide them, while being able to Play Games "together," would be utterly fantastic. But I highly doubt that Animal Crossing: City Folk would hold their eleven-year-old interests for more than a couple sessions, as would the only other two age-appropriate titles in the works.
Yes, I suppose they could hang out on the Wii Speak channel, umm-ing and uhh-ing, or leaving infrequent voice messages for each other, but what advantage does that hold over merely burning our free long-distance minutes on the phone? The whole reason to own such a thing as Wii Speak is the interaction factor, and the Totally LAME number of games supporting a product of such astonishing potential borders on criminal.
As such, the practical usefulness and value of Wii Speak is virtually nil, and I am regrettably forced to give it two stars. I would have given it one star, but I am really hoping that Nintendo will suddenly wake up to what they've got, and not only start writing/adapting their own titles to be Wii Speak-enabled, but use their weight as licensors of the Wii technology to encourage third-party game creators to do so as well.
Better still would be if Nintendo could write the support code right into the Wii System firmware itself, making it possible to verbally interact on ANY Wi-Fi enabled title. Think of the renewed Wii sales momentum. Are you listening, Mr. Iwata?

Gameplay At heartGI Joe: The Rise of Cobrais an old-school 3D shooter with a fast-paced arcade feel. The game elaborates on the storyline that drives the major motion picture of the same name, but is not bound by it. This means that along with many of the characters that make an appearance in the movie, you can also expect to see additional faces and references from the franchise. Players choose from 12 playable Joe characters, including Snake Eyes, Duke, Gung Ho and Heavy Duty, each with his own combat specialty, weapons of choice, and special enhanced abilities. Each character falls under one of three classes: heavy, combat soldier or commando. It's the players task to pick the character with the skills that best suits the combat situation at hand. Through these characters players will also have access to a variety of vehicles, some not seen since much earlier days in the franchises history. As players battle across levels, eradicating Cobra units as they go, they will take damage as well as accumulate points. But as they pass through danger they will automatically regenerate health points, so simply staying alive pays a certain amount of dividends. With actual victory in engagements though they will also fill their "ability meter." This meter when completely full allows characters to unleash for a short time, their current character's unique special ability on an enemy. They may also bank this ability to gain access to the "Accelerator Suit," which related to the movie storyline, provides invincibility for a limited time as well as a different arsenal of weapons.Local Co-op Multiplayer Along with a robust single player campaign, players can also choose to engage Cobra with a friend in the game's local cooperative game mode. As in the single player mode, within this players battle their way across levels, clearing as many Cobra members out of their path as they go using the variety of weapons, vehicles and skills at their command.
