(Amazing Game)
『This game rules. The game is just awesome. Intense fight scenes. Tons and tons of action. Lot of different weapons. I just finished it and I'm going to go play it again.』

(OMG Epic Solo Gaming on Wii!)
『This game is some of the most exciting gaming I've had on Wii outside of the standard party games that make Wii great.

I absolutely love the first person shooter experience using the Wii remote + Nunchuck, and COD: Modern Warfare is a superb implementation of FPS!

- Graphics are amazing (for Wii or not, it's easy to get immersed)
- Controls are fully customizable (and extremely slick! I love Wii for FPS)
- Wide variety of missions. Gunning off the side of a helicopter, stealth missions, rescue, night missions, sniper, infiltration..!
- Epic scenarios (sinking tanker in the middle of the ocean? Awesome)
- Large numbers of enemies (and helicopters) on screen at a time
- No noticeable lag or frame rate dropping, even in intense fire battles. These people know how to program on Wii
- Great Story
- Polish all over the place
- FUN

I was looking for a mature, fun Wii game that makes me gasp "Whoa!" and this is IT!

Highly Recommended!

(BEST WII GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!)
『This is a lot better than world at war. The language isn't as bad as it is in World at War. I recommend this game for all first shooter players. They include everything from Call of Duty 4 for PS3, Xbox360, and the PC on this. Everything but the kill cam and the graphics. I guarantee this game to get game of the year for Wii!』

(An New Look- My first FPS since Counterstrike)
『The last time I played a first person shooter I was a sophomore in college. I enjoyed the games back then, but they fell off the radar as I graduated. I purchased a Wii a year ago in an attempt to get back into gaming, but trying not to take it too serious (the reason for the Wii). My games to this point were SSB, Mario Kart, and Golf.

Anyways, the reason is to set this review up from a non FSP experienced person.

This game is so much fun! The controls take about 2 hours to get used to, and as the missions get harder you learn to use them more efficiently. I have only played the 1 player game at this point. Understand, the only thing you do in this game is shoot people and all you hear are guns shooting. But each mission introduces something new and you have to figure out how to beat the enemy. I only have a tube TV but the graphics look great. I am sure its worse than HD, but most of the time I don't have time to sit and stare at the graphics. I think surround sound and a wide screen would greatly enhance the experience.

This is game is a ton of fun, and I can see that it may become addicting.

(Surprisingly good)
『When Call of Duty: Modern Warfare first hit the PS3 and XBox 360, gamers were simply stunned. One of the best FPS' to come along in some time (and definitely the highlight of the Call of Duty franchise) and a smash hit upon release, the idea of porting Modern Warfare to the Wii seemed to be something that, if possible, would result in an ultra-stripped down experience that couldn't hold a candle to the game found on said higher powered consoles. Fast forward to 2009, and here we are with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex for the Wii, which boasts just about all of the features and great gameplay found in the original version of the game. Also featuring some great customization options for the game's controls and making great use of the Wii Zapper, Modern Warfare: Reflex is a pure blast. The biggest flaw of the game however, and this shouldn't come as much of a surprise, is the game's graphics engine. The environments are pixelated and at some spots just plain ugly to look at, but the shooting action of the original game is wonderfully retained here nevertheless. On that merit alone, if the Wii is your only console destination, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex is a more than worthy endeavor to sate your FPS thirst, and despite its graphical flaws, the game remains a blast to play.』
『The best selling shooter of all time Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is coming to Wii. Ported to the Wii by Treyarch, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex brings to Nintendo fans the intense and cinematic experience of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, winner of 50 combined Editors Choice and Game of the Year awards. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex for Wii arms you with an arsenal of advanced and powerful weaponry and transports you to the most dangerous hotspots around the globe to take on a rogue enemy threatening the world. As both a U.S. Marine and British S.A.S. soldier fighting through an unfolding story full of twists and turns, use sophisticated technology, superior firepower, and coordinated land and air strikes on a battlefield where speed, accuracy, and communication are essential to victory. Continue the fight online over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection for unrivaled multiplayer gameplay.』

(A lot of Fun for adults&Kids)
『after trying to find the wii fit board and could not find it anywhere without paying more than what the stores were selling it for I decided to purchase this.
This is a lot of fun to play. In free play mode you can play all these games and more.
Junping from rock to rock. paddle down the river, skate to the finish line, paddle on an intertube for max. speed.Other activities as well - all were fun and easy to play. even a balancing game were you pump the remote up and down wile you ride on a coal car if you step off or fall off while standing on one leg the car falls off or you have to be foot cordinated to make sure you shift you feet to make the cart stay on the track it is fun when you get the hang of it.
We found that we get a pretty good work out with this but it's still fun.
You can also play different modes if you want more of a cardio challange as well.
highly recommended.』

(Outdoor Challenge - Fun)
『What I like most about Active Life Outdoor challenge is that more than one person can play at a time. You definitely get your heart rate up and the sweat starts to pour. I can't spend as much time playing as my daughter, but she loves it too and it's a very good slim-down program that doesn't feel like you're exercising.』

(Who knew exercise could be fun?!?!)
『I hate to exercise. It's too much like work. This isn't work. It's a blast!!! I spent over 2 hours playing it by myself the first night we had it, then I got my husband and my dad playing it, too. Our only problem was trying to keep our 2 year old DS off the mat while we were playing.
Highly recommend this game to anyone who wants to get more active, but also wants to have fun while doing it. Not to mention, it's just plain fun to play. You don't really even know you're exercising until you wake up the next day really sore. :-)』

(3 Generations Love This!)
『We love the Outdoor Challenge! Any game that my daughters, son-in-law, 2 yr old granddaughter&I all enjoy has to be great. I love the exercise I get from it and my granddaughter loves stompin' those moles.』

(Best Wii game purchase to date!!)
『I'm a 26 year old female with an 8 year old son. We've had a Wii for about 2 years now and I'd have to say that this has been our favorite game by far. There are various levels of difficulty making this a great gaming choice for all ages and skill levels as well as a great exercise tool. Your kids (or even you and your friends) will have so much fun that you'll completely forget this is actually GOOD for you! Makes a great party game, too. And something to keep in mind if you're looking for a get-up-and-move type game is that you don't need to buy a second mat for this game to play with two players, unlike the DDR series. You should DEFINITELY add this game to your collection!』
『"The first in the Active Life series, Outdoor Challenge offers a variety of fast-paced games that engages your whole body for a fun and challenging experience. Using the specially-designed mat and the Wii Remote™, players compete in over a dozen single and multi-player events like river rafting, mine-cart adventure, log jumping, and more. "』
『Jump into the fun withActive Life Outdoor Challenge. The first of many planned titles in the new Active Life series,Outdoor Challengeoffers a variety of fast-paced, heart-pumping games that will engage your whole body for a fun and challenging experience.

(In-Depth, Addictive and fun game play)
『The original Pikmin was an underrated game on The Gamecube Console back in 2001. Now it seems to be suffering the same fate. The title and cover suggest a cutesy and shallow game experience for the very young ones only. However this is an in-depth real time strategy game that is a lot of fun and I'm a big fan of games like StarCraft and even Warcraft III! It is certainly far from shallow! The Wii controls on this game work perfectly and complement the game well. Overall If you missed it on Gamecube (or finished it back in 2001 like me) this is your chance to enjoy an amazing game experience and at this price, it's a steal!

Actually when I passed this version a couple weeks ago I immediately started playing it again from the beginning, no breaks with other games, and then I passed it and immediately started playing it again, each time passing it at a better time. You won't want to put it down! I know I sure didn't. Now I can't wait until they release Pikmin 2 for the "New Play Control" series!』

(As much fun as the one on the Gamecube)
『I've been a huge fan of the "Pikmin" and "Pikmin 2" games ever since they came out for the "Gamecube"; I have both of them and I have this one for the Wii too. The gameplay hasn't changed much at all: you play as Captain Olimar, an astronaut from the planet Hocotate, who, while on vacation, going somewhere in space, accidently has an asteroid crash into his ship, the S.S. Dolphin, which makes him crash onto the Pikmin Planet and scatters his thirty rocket parts all throughout it. He befriends the Pikmin, part-plant, part-animal friendly aliens, that you use to help you get all of your rocket parts back in the thirty day time limit, so that he can get off of the planet before his life-support systems fail and he dies due to the poisonous oxygen on the Pikmin Planet. The only changes to the game are the Wii controls and some sound effects. The controls are, mostly, very easy to use and they feel more natural when you play. Instead of having the cursor a few feet away from Olimar, you now can point at the screen with the Wii Remote to move the cursor to where you want it to go, so throwing Pikmin and calling them to you with your whistle is much easier than in the original game. The only control that I had trouble using is the bottom button on the control pad that you use to swarm/march your Pikmin, that replaces the C-Stick; you press it and your Pikmin will march in the direction where your cursor is, so you have to point the cursor to where you want them to go and hold down the bottom control pad button, and sometimes, all of your Pikmin won't go to where the cursor is, so you have to move Olimar with the control stick on the Nunchuk controller while doing all of those things, if you want all of your Pikmin to go to where the cursor is, so that takes some getting used to. Some of the sound effects are different too: some of the Bulborb sound effects are a little bit squeakier than in the original and some of the sounds from Olimar's ship, the S.S. Dolphin, are a little squeaky, too. It's still as much fun as the original on the "Gamecube", though! You still collect rocket parts, battle enemies, grow more Pikmin, tear down wooden and stone gates, use bomb rocks, and everything else that you did in the original game. The Challenge Mode is still there, too. It's an incredibly fun and addictive game and I love it as much as the original on the Gamecube, so the only reason that I'm giving it a four out of five stars is that, since Nintendo remade this game and is remaking "Pikmin 2", I wish they could have added a few things to it, such as, maybe some unlockable "Pikmin 3" concept art and photos, or some previews of new Pikmin in "Pikmin 3", or an extra level or two and some more stuff to collect, or at least a trailer for the "New Play Control! Pikmin 2" game that is supposed to be released sometime this year. I love this remake of "Pikmin" for the Wii and I hope that "New Play Control! Pikmin 2" and "Pikmin 3" are released very soon!』

(Pikmin is still the fun and innovative game it was way back when, but is this rehash with new controls worth a purchase?)
『Pikmin was among the earlier GameCube titles, among others such as Super Smash Bros. Melee and Metroid Prime. Pikmin was very fresh and innovative, though, because the concept was different than your usual game, causing it to stand out a bit. Commanding an army of little creatures called Pikmin to help a very small man when he crash lands on a strange planet just hadn't really been done in games before. Pikmin sure got it right the first time, though, in a great, creative game that earned a pretty strong fan base. Now, with Nintendo's New Play Control, Pikmin has come to Wii with new controls and... new controls. Is this Wii rendition still a great game or just a tired concept?

Pikmin's story involves Captain Olimar crash landing on a strange planet on a trip of some sort. His ship is in shambles, and he is able to locate 30 parts from the ship that he needs to get home. His life support will only last him for 30 days, though, because a toxic substance called 'oxygen' exists in the air. He quickly encounters a small creature which he names Pikmin, and this interesting species of little beings help him find the 30 parts of his ship and return home, and along the way the Pikmin learn independence and gain the ability to survive on their dangerous home planet. The story is very unique and that's what makes it great. The game is all centered on these concepts and they work extremely well in every aspect of the game.

Commanding Pikmin is easy enough. Simply press A to throw one or pick one out of the ground, press B to call them to you, C to sort them, and down on the control pad to direct them. The Wii's unique controls come into play with the pointer; you point at the screen to direct your throwing and where your Pikmin will go. All of these functions work almost perfectly; all potential frustrations are very few and far between. The Wii's small additions to the controls are quite good too, and the game fits perfectly with the new control scheme.

The gameplay is all about getting the Pikmin to carry parts back to your ship and create even more Pikmin (they carry things back to their 'Onion' which spits out new ones). Getting your Pikmin to do what you want them to is the key to your success, and there are many strategies involved with that. Strategy comes in especially with the three types of Pikmin: the reds (resistant to fire), yellows (can be thrown higher and can also use bombs), and blues (weaker but able to go in water). There are many challenges involved with using the different types of Pikmin, which at least keeps the game from being a walk in the park the first time through.

Once you've beaten the game, though, it truly is a walk in the park to beat it again. This is where all the replay value lies: seeing how fast you can beat the game and how many Pikmin you can produce within the 30 in-game days. Aside from the main story there is a challenge mode, in which you see how many Pikmin you can get in one day, but that feels like a waste of time when the real game is so much more fun. Overall Pikmin suffers from a lack of content, even if the bulk of what it has is simply fantastic.

Pikmin looked pretty good on the GameCube as a launch title; the difference between it and games from the generation before is pretty drastic. Nowadays the graphics still look passable and sometimes pretty nice (especially the water) but there isn't any improvement from the game that came out so many years ago. With the New Play Control version there are supposedly HD graphics, but HD always makes even the sharpest of Wii games look like a mess.

Pikmin still sounds great, though. Everything from the gut-wrenching death sounds the Pikmin make to the sounds they make when they triumph are just great. All the effects fit very well with what they go to and sound great all the time. The music is also awesome, especially the unforgettable theme from the Impact Site.

Being a total rehash with updated controls, New Play Control Pikmin has its ups and downs. The bad part is just that: it's simply a rehash of a 7-or 8-year-old game with new controls. The good part comes to the people who don't already own the game, though: they get to experience a fantastic game in a new way, and those are the people who should buy this Wii version. If you own the GameCube game then don't bother with this, just play through that version again. But if you don't own the original game, I highly recommend you give New Play Control Pikmin a shot, because you don't want to miss out on this fun, innovative, and high quality game a second time.

Positive:
+ solid, fun gameplay
+ commanding 100 little Pikmin is pretty awesome
+ new Wii controls suit the game nicely
+ great replay value
+ plenty of challenges along the way

Negative:
- no graphical improvements from GameCube game
- very little content』

(Tiny Minions)
『I played this game once at a friend's house on Game Cube. It was a lot of fun! I love having the little Pikmin do my bidding and whatnot. So, I was very excited that Pikmin was coming to Wii! It's EXACTLY like it was on Game Cube, no graphic changes, nothing. The only difference is the controller you're holding; it is a little annoying to me. I am sadly already bored with this game, because I've played it so much.』

(My 9 yr old daughter loves this game!)
『This is another game that has been approved by my 9 year old daughter. She loves this game&will play it for hours.』

(12 yr old son loves game)
『Great game for strategic minded individual. 12 yr old sons does get stuck on some puzzles but always figures them out after time. Great game, he doesn't just fly through it like some other games. More challenging.』

(Fun for the whole family)
『My son loves playing on the Wii. I love point-and-click adventures and mysteries. This game combines both of our preferences in a cute, entertaining way. I'd worried at first that the mysteries and "dispatch missions" would be too difficult for my 9 y/o, but he picked up on the clues easily. Interestingly, I've seen his inductive and deductive logic improve in the process. Me? I just think the Sim Agents are adorable, yet I find the play is interesting enough to keep me entertained, too.』

(Too fun Too fast)
『My 7 year old and I really loved this game. THe characters are cute, the tasks are easy, but still fun. The graphics were great. THe only problem was, the game only lasted 10 hours for me and 12 for my daughter. The cases were cute, but too easy, and there were only maybe 10 major cases (that's a guess), lasting about 5-10 minutes each. The other "dispatch missions" were only where you sent other sims to do it and you would get annoying texts. Another reviewer said you had to do all the dipatch missions to beat the game, but that's not true. I breat the game and hadn't even done half the dispatch ones. All they do is give you outfits, trophy's, or decorations for the office. BUt i only did maybe 12 of those and got annoyed with the constant texts everytime i was trying to solve a puzzle., Overall it's cute and fun, but I would rent instead of buying, you can beat in 3 days flat, 2 if you're a stay at home mom!』

(15 hours)
『15 hours. I know that I can blow through puzzle solvers very quickly, but ... /sigh.

You run around talking to people for the most part. There are actual puzzles to solve, but once you get the hang of the drag and drop system they're pretty easy.

There are also "Dispatch Missions." *You are not directly involved in the Dispatch Missions.* You assign NPCs to solve the mission for you. Each takes a certain amount of time, and every few minutes you get a text message from the people you assigned to a mission. I'll not go into detail, but you do have to have all of them solved for you to finish the game.

The last thing you do in the game is wait for the last dispatch mission to be solved. You can run around and look for "easter eggs" while you wait. Nuthin' like not being directly involved in the climax of a game to give you that disappointed feeling.』

(Over too soon)
『This game was great fun for my 9yo son.

The only problem was the disappointment once the case was solved. It happened much more quickly than we had anticipated. As another reviewer said, it was about 3 days.』

(Great Game - Needed More Content)
『I really liked this game, I just wish they had added more content. 30+ recipes is a bit deceiving, as they count all the parts of one meal as separate recipes. For instance, pancakes with bacon counts as two recipes and Cheese Quesadillas with Tomato Salsa and Guacamole counts as three. As you can imagine it doesn't take long to work through all the recipes in the game.

Other than how short it was I had no other complaints and still think it was worth purchasing. The game play is fun and I actually picked up quite a few good tips! I liked that the recipes were real and would actually work in my own kitchen. I recreated the pancakes with nutmeg in real life and they were delicious! Hope they make a sequel - just with way more content.』

(Is your information correct?)
『Your info list 1-2 MONTHS to receive this product! I don't think anyone will wait that long to receive this game. Is this a misprint?』

(not enough recipes)
『This game would be really fun except it is a rip of. It tricks you to say it has '30+ Recipes', but they count each meal as about 3 or 4 recipes. There is only 12 Meals! what a rip off! But for the gameplay it is fun. I am used to Cooking Mama, but this is ment for an older audience than Cooking Mama. Basically, you pay about 3.50 per meal on this game. Fun but a big waste. I wanted to LOVE this game. Too bad. Could've been great, if they included more recipes.』

(Made me sweat&kept me challenged)
『I've been wanting a DDR for years, but didn't own a gaming system! Just recently god a Wii and yesterday I bought this newest bundle of DDR. I never played the old ones, so I can't compare, but this one is AWESOME! The songs are the real thing, and most of them have the music videos too. I started playing this morning and played for over an hour without wanting to quit. I broke a sweat and had a ton of fun. I am not in shape at all (215 lbs, short), but after this first contact with DDR, I know I'm setting my self up for a more active life-style.
Highly recommend for those who get easily bored with exercise, and who enjoy puzzles.

(Great Fun!)
『I am 51 years old, and like to work out with the Wii for my exercise. I have arthritis in my right hip and knee, and find the steps in this game to be doable. I even have 'jumps' turned on. I also find the step patterns easier than DDR1 to keep up with.

I love the fact that the music is the actual artists singing, and the original music videos are in the game. Such as "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley. I highly recommend this product.』

(It's a great game, even for a stiff like me.)
『bought this game to use with my kids.

i' m no dancer by any means but it's fun and everyone gets a laugh by playing it.』

(Great game. 3rd version evolutionary.)
『Hottest Party 3 is the second DDR game I own for the Wii--the first one being Hottest Party 2. The game is fun, uses both feet and hands for dance moves, but the hands may be disabled. The game offers several modes of play for single and multiple players including a workout mode that is very effective.

Pros
* Large initial song selection list; larger than version 2
* Large selection of original songs with video
* Easy list interface; much easier than version 2 hierarchies
* Option to unlock all songs in Hottest Party 2, if you own it
* Good variety of song genre; note it favors Pop

Cons
* Songs and videos are trimmed versions of the original
* Video resolution is standard definition, and does not offer an option to "zoom" and fit to screen
* Video box smaller than the actual game screen; compressed resolution makes videos look washed out
* Interface is not point-and-click requiring navigation using the cross-arrow pad on the controller
* Interface inferior to the polish of the Wii or other games such as Wii Sports

I believe this is a missed opportunity for Konami. I expected Konami to set the standard for DDR games in the new generation of consoles, but it seems Konami is waiting for one of its competitors to enter the dancing game category in full force. One only has to play RockBand, Guitar Hero, or Singstar to notice the complacency that Konami has fallen into in regards to music games.

Overall, this is still the best dancing game of this generation of consoles.』

(Great game but has some hands-on control issue)
『The game is great. You can watch the real videoclips from the featured artists while you dance. It has new modes that will let you use it even during parties. The only problem I've found (and others have published on many forums) is that the hands-on feature has some flaws. Now it requires you to move the nunchuk to the left and downwards, and the wiimote upwards and to the right. This new feature is a really cool idea and it would've been awesome if it worked well. Just as DDR 1 had issues picking up your hands-on movement (and later fixed on DDR2), DDR 3 has this new addition that (probably because it's new) has recognition issues and it really destroys all your combos.

The good thing is you can choose the other modes and not use the wii controls at all. This lets you enjoy the game perfectly. I just wish they had tested it better before launching the game.

I still love it anyways!!』

『Taking the revolution to another level! DanceDanceRevolution enhances the entire series' across all platforms! DanceDanceRevolution is sure to be the life of the party and get you into shape with outrageous multiplayer fun, huge smash hit soundtrack, entirely new modes and more! There is now a DanceDanceRevolution for everyone!』
DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 3is a dance/party game for Wii that takes the long-runningDDRparty to the next level. Bundled with the game's iconic floor peripheral, and including controller support for the Wii Remote/nunchuck controller configuration, and for the first time the Wii Balance Board, it is sure to be the life of the party and get you into shape. Game also include local 2-4 player multiplayer support, a diverse 60-song soundtrack, entirely new modes and more.

Gameplay
As with all DanceDanceRevolution (DDR) games, gameplay inDance Dance Revolution Hottest Party 3consists of the player mimicking as closely as possible the movements flashed on the screen in the form of directional arrows and other prompts. The goal is to do this as best as possible to gain as many points as you can, maintain a healthy "dance gauge" (your life bar) and get a good grade for each dance routine. YetHottest Party 3for Wii sets itself apart from previous versions in this by including new input methods. The game bundle includes the familiarDDRfloor peripheral for registering dance steps, which make up the majority of the game actions, and like earlierDDRversions for Wii, also includes Wii Remote and nunchuck support. What is new is the game's Wii Balance board integration. The balance board is an optional accessory (sold separately), and allows for a whole new way to play in workout mode among others. The game also features 2-player local versus multiplayer support, Mii integration and new costume customization functionality and new game modes.

(Not sure of accuracy but sure is fun game to play)
『While attending Jedi Academy I was put through rigorous light saber training regimes. This simulation while fun, may not be 100% accurate to the core training I received.

All kidding aside, I bought this for my son's 6th birthday. We had a Jedi-themed party and all of the kids competed in a tournament. The game is very fun to play. All of the kids ended up just swinging their arms wildly and hoped their speed would win them the fight and I must say that was usually the case. I have tried playing it and several times the characters ignored my subtle strikes and other moves. This leaves it up to being a fantastic party game but might not be as true to the series as I would have liked. I even played it with the Wii Plus controllers on and off to see if it made a difference, I noticed nothing.

Pros:
>>Fast game play
>>Accurate Clone Wars characterizations
>>Very fun and addictive

<<
All in all a VERY fun game to add to your collection. Might be better to try before you buy though.

Thanks for reading my review.』

(Finished it in two days)
『I had seen tons of trailers for this and it really looked like it was an awsome game, until the second day i had it i was playing, finished a battle in career mode and its game over for me. i still had some fun unlocking characters but it got old after that. if you like repetitive hacking and slashing with the wiimote then this is the game for you, not me.』

(star wars wii game)
『My son got this for his birthday last January, and I think he only played it three times. I even got him the light sabers to play with the Wii to make it more like the Star Wars fights. He said this game is hard to pass levels, so he looses interest. When he does play it he has fun, but gets irritated when he can't pass a level. He likes the graphics better on this games versus the Wii Sports game. These Star Wars people actually have arms and legs, and not on the Sports game from Wii. He is 11 years old, and is a big Star Wars fan, so this game is perfect for him. He just doesn't have the patients to beat the levels!』

(Little sis loves this!)
『I bought this game for my little sister's 11th birthday and she loves it. The light sabers makes it even better!』

A Fully Integrated Storyline
Designed from the ground up as a counterpart toStar Wars: Clone Warsboth visually and narratively,Lightsaber Duelsfollows the plot line of the animated feature and series closely. Here players will encounter familiar faces representing both sides of the Force, as well as many new ones, as they take on missions on behalf of the Jedi Council, or in spite of it, during the troubling times of the Clone Wars. The highlight of these missions will be the memorable lightsaber duels and the Jedi and Sith players will battle against in them. These duels are designed to mirror as closely as possible the encounters faced in the animated adventures, to the point that they are even introduced by cinematic segments pulled right from the series and feature film. In addition, utilizing writing talent from both of these related projects, as well as a majority of the voice talent as well in a truly collaborative manner, players can expect to see things in the game that eventually make it to the TV show and vice versa.

Gameplay
One of the most anticipated uses of the Wii Remote and Nunchuck controller configuration in the history of the Wii gaming system, gameplay inLightsaber Duelsis all about introducing players into the civilized but deadly world of hand to hand Jedi combat techniques. That means no blasters here. As the game's subtitle suggests, whether playing as a servant of the will of the Jedi Council or the Dark Side of the Force, players will wield a lightsaber in one hand and the power of the force in the other. This is where the Wii Remote and Nunchuck come in.

Far from requiring players to build up their skills and knowledge of the Force, the goal of the control scheme ofLightsaber Duelsis actually designed to make even beginning gamers a force to be reckoned from the first duel they face. The Wii Remote controls your lightsaber through a series of tiered attacks. Left and right motions of the remote equate to light damage, up and down slashes represent medium damage and stabbing motions do maximum damage. The remote's trigger provides a blocking mechanism, while the Nunchuck controls your Force powers. In addition, each character possesses unique combo abilities, but keeping with the simplicity of the control scheme all players need to do is memorize these simple combos to take advantage of their power.

Key Game Features:

(Why ruin a good thing?)
『I read all the information regarding this game before I purchased it. Granted, I pre-ordered the item and there wasn't much info regarding game play and such prior to the pre-purchase. However, I would assume that the Rabbid brand would stick to what made it so good and so fun. Instead, this is completely different than any of the other previous Rabbid games. Sadly, I can't foresee myself spending hours upon hours playing a game where all you do is drive around a shopping cart being sure to run over objects with circles around them. Boring.

Every Rabbid game I own is multi-player. This game can hardly justify being a multi-player game as the second player just shoots the circled objects which the first person can also do or can simply run over the objects. So the second player is completely optional and will likely die of boredom during game play.

So if driving a cart around and running over objects is your thing, then this is all for you. If you want a fun driving game where you actually interact with the game, try Mario Kart. Otherwise, they missed the mark with this Rabbid game. No more pre-purchase for me. I've been burned once, won't be doing that again.』

(What can I say?)
『I agree with the person who said that the first 2 reviewers gave this a 1 because it wasn't the mini game based thing that they expected. This game should be reviewed based on what it IS, not what someone expected it to be. A bit of research to know what you were buying would have saved you the trouble and would have saved this EXCELLENT adventure game from bad scores it doesn't deserve. As an adventure game, Rabbids Go Home is completely original. I've never heard of a game where you build a huge junk pile to get to the moon and thus go home. Or anything even close to that plotline. And you get there in the most crazed, fun, weird and wonderful ways you can hope for. One similarity there IS to the previous titles is the humor. The writing is once again clever and witty, with a lot of "What the....? YES!!!!!!!!" moments. The Rabbids are manic as usual, thank goodness! I've always thought their zaniness was the best part of the mini games. The game looks great too, they are really squeezing the Wii for all the graphical juice they can get out of it. The controls are much improved over previous Rabbids games, things are very fine tuned now and feels much more natural. All in all this game was amazing, I can't think of one single reason to dock any points.』

(Great fun and deserves a look!)
『I had been reading up on this title since they first announced it so I knew that it wasnt going to be another minigame-filled waste of time (lord knows the Wii has enough of those!!) what I ended up getting was a great adventure title that I'm happy I purchased! Good graphics, catchy music, hilarious hijinks, and co-op play made this one a no-brainer for me. I hope they plan on extending this franchise. Hey, we don't even need Rayman... well, unless they plan on taking him back to his roots hehe』

(The truth about Rabbids go home... It's NOT about RAYMAN!)
『First off, if you are going into Rabbids Go Home expecting the mini-game fests of the other titles in the series, you will be disappointed. That's obviously what happened with the other reviewers did. I can honestly say that they should have read up on the title before their purchase. Rabbids never intended to be yet another sequel in the Rayman series. In fact, it doesn't even star Rayman! Ubisoft decided to take their crazy rabbit characters and move in a new direction and I feel they mostly succeeded. The graphics are detailed and stylized, the slapstick humor is nonsensical but funny as hell, and Rabbids IS a collect-a-thon, but rather than it being an excuse to extend gameplay (like with other games where you collect X amount of coins, tokens or what-have you) it actually has purpose in this title as it's the focus of the story and integral to the Rabbids goal of getting home. If you are open-minded and not expecting more of the same as before, you will really like Rabbids!!』

(Only for hardcore rabbidheadz)
『This is a huge disappointment, if you liked the other rabbid games for their "party mode" then avoid this one.
This is a "collect as much junk as you can"...level after level after level. The initial quirkiness of the characters always makes me smile..but it gets old in about 10 minutes. Ultimately there is no satisfaction upon completing a level. Why would I want to keep playing or replay? Rabbid in the remote was the only saving grace.

『Rabbids Go Home Wii』
Rabbids Go Homeis a comedy adventure like no other. Departing from the mini-game centric action of previousRabbidsgames,Rabbids Go Homefeatures open-world style mission gameplay centered around the Rabbids harebrained scheme to get to the moon. In true Rabbids form this entails over-the-top single player and multiplayer gameplay built around creating a pile made up of everyday and not so everyday items stolen from the consumer-crazed humans of planet Earth, that is literally tall enough to reach the edge of space.

Story
Rabbids Go Homeis the Rabbids first comedy-adventure, and will take them to the moon or bust. This time around, those crazy Rabbids have what they consider an infallible plan: collect all the human stuff they can find, haul away, heap it onto a giant pile and literally climb home to the moon. Crazy? yes, but that's the Rabbid's story and they are sticking to it. But not so fast! The humans revolt, unleashing the Verminators, a bumbling group of shock troops whose only objective is to exterminate the Rabbids before they haul away everything that the humans have.

Gameplay
Unlike the action of previousRabbidsgames which were made up of a compilation of mini-games,Rabbids Go Homeis more of a driving adventure/platformer game. Set in both indoor and outdoor 3D environments, action is mission-based, 40+ in all, and built around the Rabbids desire to get to the moon. Keeping with the franchises irreverent, over-the-top humor, the Rabbid's chosen means of doing this is to simply steal enough stuff from humans, pile it up and ascend that pile all the way to the moon. Since the moon is a long way away, a lot of stuff is needed to get there and this is where the player comes in.

Progressing through the open-world missions players control a team of two Rabbids, and their main tool used in collecting items, a shopping cart. Movement of all three are controlled via the Wii Remote/nunchuck controller configuration, with a speed boost available by hitting the "A" button. Items to be collected vary widely, ranging all the way from clothing literally scared off paranoid humans, to livestock, with collection areas occurring both horizontally and vertically throughout the gameplay area. Items that can be collected appear as circled in the gameplay environment, and the more mess and mayhem that your Rabbids create, the more items become available. Again, since the pile the Rabbids need to accumulate is hefty, the game features a checkpoint system where you can offload your stash and go back for more without taking the chance of losing what you have. When done collecting, items are flushed down a toilet, leading to a sewer pipe, that leads to the ever-growing pile. But gameplay is more than just a scavenger hunt. Eventually players have to deal with a mobilized resistance by humans to the Rabbids behavior made up of a combination of the anti-Rabbid Verminator corps, waves of surveillance robots and kennels full of attack dogs, all determined to exterminate the Rabbids. Players can also look forward to 2-player mission support and several online features.

Customization
Rabbids Go Homealso contains a Wii-specific customization mode, known as "Ze Wiimote," which mimics what the inside of players' Wii remotes would look like if a Rabbid was literally inside it. Here players can can customize the look of their Rabbids with spray paint and sticker effects, and save their favorite versions for use in-game and trading with friends.

Key Game Features

  • The Rabbids First Comedy-Adventure- Control two Raving Rabbids and their shopping cart and cause mayhem in a world full of uptight humans with shopping on the brain. Collect varying sizes of human stuff to build the Rabbids sky-high pile of junk in their quest to reach the moon.
  • Make a huge mess and provoke hilarious situations in over 15 striking game environments- Scour through supermarkets, race across rooftops, jet past airports and boost through the Bayou, visiting the game’s unique take on everyday places.
  • Play over 40 missions- Race, chase, boost and generally run amok while scaring the Humans right down to their undies - literally! Ridicule reams of relentless enemies and their nasty pooches in an increasingly paranoid world of Rabbid-haters.
  • Unique Art Direction- Encounter a cast of colorful, oddball characters and explore a remarkable parody of the modern world as if you were living inside an interactive cartoon.
  • Variety of Gameplay- Soup up your shopping cart with a Jet Ski, an airplane reactor, or a hospital Bubble Bed to wreak endless havoc everywhere you turn. Learn to pilot your cart while boosting, jumping, gliding, floating and flying.

(Wow!)
『If you're looking for a workout program for the Wii, this is it!

PROS:
+ each workout is about 30 minutes, which includes 5 minutes for warm ups and 5 minutes for cool downs.
+ the workouts are more fun than the previous ones
+ you definitely feel the burn after each workouts
+ your avatar looks a lot more human than in Personal Trainer. I hated the shape of the head in the original game. This one is much nicer
+ the game uses the resistance band in different ways which helps add resistance and make the workout harder (which is good)
+ you can now weigh yourself directly through the game if you have the balance board
+ journal, trophies, and goals help you stay motivated and make better decisions throughout the day

CONS:
- the workouts that were included in the original EA Sports Active Personal Trainer are not included here
- warm ups and cool downs don't use the wii remote so it doesn't actually sense if you've started or not
- if you lose the beat (or if you made the motion and the game doesn't recognize it), it's often hard to re-gain that rhythm. Your next moves end up being opposite of what is shown on the screen (if i'm lifting my arm, it shows me as lowering my arm on the screen). This is very annoying but not a huge deal ultimately
- graphics are still not great, but let's face it - nobody buys this 'game' for the graphics :-)

With the Personal Trainer, I saw results after one month. This 'game' is even better than the previous one so I'm excited to see what this next month of training will do :)』

(Love it, but loose some instruction...)
『Alright I own many work out wii games now..

I really FELT this one.... I felt it 24 hours after, so that is a first! I'll stick with it and see what it does for the rest of my muscles :). The only thing I do not like is the constant instruction over and over again! Since I consider myself an advanced user with EA Active, I wish there was a way to click on

* More Instruction or * Less instruction

My trainer is driving me crazy, I understand, I know, I get it.... Other then that I love this and woud recommend it to anyone!』

(Better the Second Time Around)
『I was a little nervous about purchasing this game because I had become bored rather quickly with the first one. This game is a big improvment! My only disappointment is that the nunchuck still does not function as well when it is in the leg strap. Besides that issue, the exercises are a lot better and I like the fact that there are warm-up and cool down excercises. Furthermore, instead of having a 30 day challenge, there is a 60 day challenge. This is a great game to add to your video game workout collection.』

(Awesome!)
『I purchased the Wii Active More Workouts after a couple of 30 day challenges with the Wii Active. I must say the More Workouts is awesome! The repetitions are faster so unlike with the Wii Active, I don't find myself getting bored and frustrated with the speed. The activities are more fun and fast paced. Where the inline skating got boring after a while because really its just doing loooooong squats and jumps it has been replaced with a surfboard activity where you are squatting, jumping, and moving your arms. It requires serious attention and keeps your heart racing. I did increase the resistance band by replacing it with a pilates heavy resistance band which really helps take the workout to the extreme. I like this more than the Wii Active initial game which I still liked a lot but the changes in this game just make it more active and fun. Two thumbs up!』

(Thank You!)
『Thank you EA Active for finally giving me what I have been looking for: Step Aerobics!! The game comes with 3 pre-set workouts for a step aerobic routine (not just 2 or 3 mins in between other exercises but straight step aerobics). They come slow, medium and fast. I just completed the slow and burned 310 calories (I am 5'8" woman and 230 lbs). Granted its the same 10 min routine, three times but sooooo much better than any other fitness game out there (and I have them all!). I am hoping for Your Shape to maybe even improve on the step aerobics?!』

EA Sports ActiveGameplay
Designed around the standard Wii Remote/Nunchuck tethered controller configuration,EA Sports Active's interactive fitness program is more focused on physical activities than previous 'fitness' titles for the Wii, but still challenges you to have fun while developing a more healthy lifestyle. Separated into the three sections of workout, nutrition, lifestyle, and other activity, the user's experience begins with a pep talk from Bob Greene which quickly transitions into the beginnings of action as players set up profiles, choose a virtual personal trainer and enter baseline data like age, weight, gender, fitness goals, etc. Although the nutrition, lifestyle, and other activity sections add a holistic element facilitated by a mix of surveys and data input, building fitness through physical activity is the driving force behindEA Sports Active, and as such the meat of the content resides in the workout section. Here players will find dozens of themed strength training and cardio workouts which can be customized as you choose and linked into circuit training routines. These routines are introduced and monitored by your personal trainer, and allow for ongoing player motivation via real-time feedback on your workout form, an approximation of calories burned and the ability to adjust levels of exercise intensity.

(A guilty pleasure...but GREAT nonetheless!!)
『There are 2 groups of people that typically play Guitar Hero: Those who are score obsessed... they are all about mastering the most challenging of songs and having the highest scores on the leaderboards. Then there are those who love having a group of their friends over to play plastic instruments and yell at the top of their lungs for hours on end. For the most part...I fall into the second category.

I have loved every entry in the Rock Band series, and more recently fell in love with Guitar Hero 5. However, these games have failed me in one vital area: the soundtrack for these games is kinda niche. Oftentimes when friends or family would come over for a "Guitar Hero" or "Rock Band" party, it would turn into each of them taking turns scrolling through hundreds of alternative, progressive, or heavy metal songs until they find one or two that they know and KINDA LIKE... and since they don't necessarily own a Guitar Hero or Rock Band game, they aren't overly concerned about scores or anything like that...they just want to play music they know and love. That is where Band Hero swoops in to save the day (or at least save my party!!)

Rather than focusing on niche genres of music, Band Hero does the exact opposite... Band Hero's soundtrack is focused on Pop music. The very definition of POP MUSIC is music that is popular... songs that everyone knows and loves. And I have to say, Band Hero delivers. There is some great music on Band Hero. Granted, the setlist on Guitar Hero 5 was more appealing to me personally... but Band Hero's setlist will be a HUGE hit at my next party, which, thanks to Band Hero, will be more of a "Karaoke party that also features all of the cool Guitar Hero elements for those interested" than a "Guitar Hero party". Here are some of my observations about the game:

*The Music - As I mentioned, the game focuses on pop music, with artists ranging from Yellowcard to Hillary Duff to Taylor Swift to No Doubt and so on. There are several "guilty pleasures" songs that, while I wouldn't admit enjoying any other time, will be a HUGE hit when having friends over to play (especially my wife's friends)... like The Spice Girls, Taylor Swift, Joss Stone. There are even classic songs like "Rio" by Duran Duran, "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me" by Culture Club, and "Kung Fu Fighting" by Carl Douglas (right?)... and cmon...who can really claim not to love singing any of those songs? Sure, they are really easy to play on guitar/bass/drums for the most part.... but they are fun. Besides, if you want a challenge...check out the SONG IMPORT feature!

*Song Import: For a small fee, you can import 61 songs from Guitar Hero 5, and several of the songs from Guitar Hero Smash Hits and Guitar Hero World Tour. Before importing Guitar Hero 5 (and after importing smash hits and world tour), I already had a total of 140 songs available to play in Band Hero! So, in addition to the pop songs included on the disk, I am also able to include alot of the great and more challenging songs from Guitar Hero 5 (like "Smells Like Teen Spirit", "Medicate", and lots of other great stuff!!!)

*Downloadable Content: Like Guitar Hero 5 and Guitar Hero:World Tour, Band Hero includes an in-game music store that allows you to purchase additional songs. Hopefully, this means that, in addition to the more hardcore downloadable songs available for Guitar Hero 5, Band Hero will also be getting downloadable pop music! Also, most (if not all) of the dlc that you purchase for Guitar Hero 5 and Guitar Hero World Tour are AUTOMATICALLY playable in Band Hero! If, however, you want these to be excluded from Band Hero, there is a place in the Options menu that allows dlc to be disabled. With downloadable content and importing the songs from other versions of Guitar Hero, I should have a library of over 200 song available for playing in Band Hero by the end of the week!

*Band Hero = Guitar Hero 5 with more neon lights: Guitar Hero 5 for Wii is a game that any person with a Wii should own. Period. It was the first of the rhythm games to use high-capacity sd cards, effectively adding a hard drive to your Wii. It had AWESOME features like Party Play mode, drop-in and drop-out multiplayer, and the ability change difficulty on the fly. "Beginner" difficulty is also included, which will allow ANYONE to pick up this game and start playing, no matter what skill level. And then there was the AWESOME, Wii-exclusive "Roadie Battle" mode that allowed someone to sit on the sideline with a DS and sabotage other players.... PRICELESS!!! ALL of the features from Guitar Hero 5 are also implemented in Band Hero. That automatically makes Band Hero AWESOME. Period.

I really hope Band Hero sells well. Activision took a great game and made it more marketable. Between DJ Hero, Band Hero, and Guitar Hero 5, there is no longer any excuse for people not to jump in and enjoy rythym gaming. Unless you hate music and hate fun, you should own this game. =) Some parents/players were put off by some of the art style used in the Guitar Hero games (lots of skulls, demons, lightning bolts, and heavy metal)... and those people will be happy to know that the look and feel used in Band Hero is more family friendly...they've replaced those things with neon lights, starbursts, glitter, floodlights... it really feels like "Guitar Hero" meets "The MTV VMA Awards". I really enjoy the game, and hope you will too!!

My review scores:

Gameplay: 10/10
Difficulty: 8/10 (Anyone from grandma to seasoned hardcore guitar hero veterans can get loads of value out of this game)
Presentation: 9/10
Lasting Value: 9/10
Overall: 9.5/10』
