Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Couldn't Be Happier) 『I was thrilled that not only could I find this game in Amazon but when I ordered it it came very quickly and was in execellant condition. I could not be happier, I could not ask for more. I'm a member for life!!!』
(A LICENSED GAME THAT'S ONE HELLUVA RIDE 8.5 OUT OF 10) 『As most gamers know, licensed games have a tendency to be craptacular failures that should have never been created, hell, the worst game I ever played is a licensed game (Casper: Spirit Dimensions for PS2... Ugh). Since most of these games are complete garbage, gamers don't buy them, but unfortunately because of such fears of playing crappy games, a lot of times the good licensed games get ignored by gamers and not a whole lot of people get to experience them as they should. Luckily, this game not only garnered critical success, but also had moderate commercial success. I never watched the show, but I heard this game was pretty good, so I picked up and it was a lot of fun. WHAT THE GAME IS: It's basically a brawler with some nifty weapons and hordes of the supernatural. A girl named Buffy has the powers of the slayer, which is only given to one girl in all the world to stop the forces of darkness. Buffy is a teenager in Sunnydale, California who is gifted in slaying the supernatural. A supernatural force threatens to plague humanity with vampires, demons, and zombies and Buffy most stop this force from destroying humanity. GRAPHICS: The character models look great for a game from 2002, but the rest of the game isn't going to blow you away. The environments sometimes are boring to look at, and there are texture problems. The lip-synching is pretty good. MUSIC: This game really knows how to set the creepy mood and despair, another highlight in this highly polished licensed game. SOUND: Punching, kicking, stabbing, dying screams, good voice acting from the lead actress of the show and the rest of the characters. GAMEPLAY: The developers really focused on the gameplay. This is one of those games that really gives you a sense of what it's like to punch and kick and enemy brutally. You can also use weapons like stakes, rakes, shovels, holy water, a crossbow that fires regular and holy water bolts, and a gun that fires Hellfire and Holy Water. Simple puzzles are also part of the game and aren't really very difficult to figure out. You can also upgrade your health and slayer power with special crystals you find in the game. OVERALL: This game has highly polished gameplay, an interesting story and great music. It's definitely worth an investment if you have an old Xbox around. This is indeed one of the best licensed games out there and few can be superior. This game was made by the same folks behind the upcoming Silent Hill: Homecoming (360, PS3) so that game will end up being really good. THE GOOD: Brilliant hand-to-hand combat, lots of weapons, lots of enemies to kill, not very difficult, great music, good voice-acting, simple puzzles, and decent environment designs. THE BAD: Graphics have not aged very well, sometimes you'll be wandering for long periods of time trying to find out where to go.』
(Not Quite A Gamer) 『I'm not a gamer. Other than dabbling with the occasional "Crash Bandicoot" and "Dead or Alive", I haven't really played that many games. But, being a Buffy fanatic, I had to scoop up this game when I saw it at Game Stop for a mere five dollars.
The controls are exceptional and the story line is pretty interesting. The voices are good (I love the fact that most of the Buffy actors voice their characters here) and each level definitely brings on the fun. Killing vampires is easily the best part--the dusting effect is nicely done--and the parts where you can interact with Buffy's friends will make any fan of the show squee with glee. Overall, the game is very playable and the good graphics make it easy on the eyes. The only real complaint that I have is that there is one particularly hard part where you simply wander through a maze and try to navigate with a very misleading light. That part was overly hard, I thought. But other than that, I really have no qualms at all about this game.
So, I say this to Buffy fans who aren't really big on games: Get this game. If you like the show, this will surely keep you entertained, if not enthralled. Perhaps I'm biased. Hell, I'm sure there are games out there 100 times better than this. But, this is for the Buffy fans, and they'll enjoy it. I know I did.

(SLAYER TIME) 『This game is awesome. I am a Buffy Fanatic. It is alot of fun to play and the graphics are cool. Even the voices are of the real people from the show. It isn't easy and it isn't hard. It is right in the middle. I have reached the end of the game and I still play it on a regular basis. Have alot of fun when and if you get this game.』 『Buffy the Vampire Slayeris the first third-person action-adventure game based on the international hit TV series. Players take on the role of Buffy Summers, a 17-year-old high-school student who must balance adolescent growing pains with the responsibility of being the Chosen One. As the slayer, Buffy eliminates vampires and other demonic creatures that threaten the world's existence. It's up to you to save the human race from being "drained" during this devilish time.
Fortunately, Buffy is not alone. Her friends help her solve mysteries and watch her back. Fans of the series will recognize the voices of favorite characters including Angel, Xander, Willow, Cordelia, Spike, the Master, and Giles.
Players fight a range of enemies including Spike, the Master, Drusilla, demons, zombies, and other supernatural creatures that threaten mankind. All of Buffy's favorite haunts are richly detailed: Sunnydale High School, the cemetery, the Bronze nightclub, and the library, which is the portal that sits atop the Hellmouth. Special supernatural effects such as morphing creatures, eldritch explosions, dynamic fogging, and arcane spell casting enhance the dark, mythical setting of the game. An intelligent combat system allows enemies to perform counterattacks and learn from character's fighting techniques.』

(Crappy game) 『The physics of this game is very unrealistic but it is quite entertaining to see the takedowns that you had done. This game is very unrealistic. If you want something that is realistic, try Forza or Burnout Paradise since the physics are much more realistic and much more realism in it.』
(Must Have for Xbox Owners..) 『i played this game on xbox 360 and liked it...but for some reason, i LOVE it on the original xbox. its fast...fun...the areas you race in are beautiful and long..the graphics are excellent for the xbox...this is THEE racing game for the xbox, hands down, no other racing game can stack up, not even Burnout Paradise. nothing else i can say really, you just need to own this now..

(Better than it's predecessor?) 『Burnout: Revenge is the fourth [4th] Burnout game that has been released [not counting the ones on handheld portable gaming consoles], and is also the first one to be released on a "next-gen" console [the Xbox360]. In Revenge, the Burnout series takes a small step away from it's bright colors and light-hearted theme towards a more mature, grittier one [see: the darker/edgier soundtrack, as compared with the ones in previous Burnouts], and also adds new types of takedowns [for instance, the Vertical Takedown, accomplished when the player lands his car on top of a rival's] along with new racing modes [i.e.: Traffic Attack, where your objective is to keep the clock running by smashing ["checking"] traffic on the road, until you reach a specified dollar amount in damages to get a bronze, silver, or gold medal]. Obviously, new cars, along with new tracks are added. I don't recommend this game [or any of the Burnout series] to beginning gamers, as the sheer speed of the cars racing along tracks along with you, combined with the amount of mayhem that goes on around you, can be overwhelming. The Xbox [original, not the 360] version I bought looks absolutely stunning, and I'm frankly surprised the machine can handle so many things going on at once.

The mountains are unique and fun, the challenges (gaps, tricks, snowmen) are cool, and the overall look and feel of the game is excellent. My one complaint is that the manual (and the game itself) use lots of terms - for tricks, especially - that a person unfamiliar with snowboarding can have trouble understanding. For example, what kind of trick is an "impossible"? At first I thought that was a description of the trick, but then I realized that was the actual trick name. But aside from that, this game is tons of fun. Highly recommended.』

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (It's dated, but that doesn't stop it from being fun.) 『Counter Strike is not for everyone. If you want a shooter with loads of content and features, this game falls somewhat short.
But don't let that deter you from giving it a shot. Though the game has aged, its fun factor has not.
For those that don't know the history, Counter Strike is a user-made mod from Half Life. It garnered so much popularity that the creator was actually hired by Valve Software. People still play Counter Strike and the Source update to this day, and for a very good reason.
Many shooters today fall into a trap where instead of fleshing out the FPS aspect to the game, they add tons of useless gimmicks and features. Counter Strike, however, is built solely to make the FPS aspect fun.
Games are divided into separate matches where each player has one life, encouraging tactics and planning. More kills and match wins give money to the player to buy weapons, armor, ammunition, and equipment. The game plays like a typical team deathmatch title, but once a bomb is planted, the entire game changes. One team has to disarm the bomb before it goes off, while the other has to defend it. Even if the counter-terrorist team beats the enemy, they still have to reach the bomb before it goes off and gives the match point to that team. If a player survives a match, they keep their current equipment. Otherwise, they need to restock from scratch.
Counter Strike is a simple, yet somewhat deep game in its fun factor. Though some games like Call of Duty may have topped Counter Strike in some aspects, Counter Strike still stands strong in its own way. It's hard to continue describing what makes this game so fun. Even playing with and against bots has its own charm.
I will say this, though: be wary about the online component. I don't have a Live subscription and haven't had the chance to check, but I'm willing to bet that the online community is gone. Most gamers moved onto the 360, and plenty of online titles came out for that. Good luck finding a match or friends to play with.』
(It could have been nice...) 『It could have been a great game, maybe it is. But I never received it therefore I have not played it.』
(Atleast it ACTUALLY works) 『This is probably the first time i got a used game with very few scratches like this, this one doesn't have any scratches at all. It's great!!!!』
(CounterSUCK) 『I think I waited too long to buy this game. A non-Halo playing fan of CounterStrike said I should play it. Man.....it ain't Halo. It was a lame time killer. I guess once you have played such as Halo 2 and 3, Gods of War, Crackdown you really can't expect to a game made that long ago to compare. Dissappointed but, at the time maybe this game was cutting edge.』

PRO-You get to shoot terrorists.
CONS-horrid grafics(guys get stuck in mid air, guns look fake, blood cornily flies everywere especialy w. a handgun.) -There is no storymode(you just go to places and try to beat the terorists the best of five times) -just overall stupid.

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (IM THE JUGGERNAUT) 『i love the fact that u can be the juggernaut in this game. as well as venom, wolverine, ryu, megaman among others. and have up to three on your team at the same time. i remember playing this at arcades at certain places and loved it to death. found on the xbox and bought it immediately. the only thing that sucks is the price. but at this point it time it should be less than 50. u have to get this game but you have to play foreeeever to get all the characters and u have to use certain characters to beat the main boss but if you stick to it youll get the secret ones like juggernaut and others. but dont worry you still get a pretty good amount of characters from the start...i usually alwasy choose ryu venom and hulk. until i unlock the secret ones. the characters u choose work as a tag team which u can switch out or have all three come out at the same time for a second to attack your opponent...its pretty amazing, the only thing i dont like about this game is that silly song that plays as youre selecting your characters. "I wanna take you foor a riide" and that one line plays over and over again...we used to stay up till 3 in the morning playing this game and when wed go to sleep that damn song would keep playing in our heads...drove me crazy. but other than that, and the fact that it takes so long to unlock the hidden characters (at least put different bosses or something) this is a great game, get it and impress your friends and have fun』

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Best WW2 game of all time) 『I played this game over and over for about 3 months after it first came out. I loved the different missions and the various medals I could earn by completing various objectives. The enemy AI is fairly intelligent, although not always perfect by any means. This game has very high replayability and is definately worth picking up. It is too bad that the newer WW2 games are not as well done as this one.
Overall = Superb 』
(Disappointing for WWII fans) 『This is MOH's first major debut on the XBOX, and apparently, many faults are taken into consideration.
First of all, the World War II gaming industry has always been popular. MOH: Frontline, needless to say, arrived with great anticipation. EA promised an accurate, intense, experience, describing it with the motto "You don't play; you volunteer." Here is what they delivered:
The game overall is accurate, with real historical figures and real events, seen through the eyes of Lt. Jimmy Patterson, who were in such operations as D-Day, Market Garden, and Nimjigen Bridge. EA even gave feelings to the weapons, making them as authentic as possible.
But what this game lacked was gameplay. Many times, objectives are just to shoot blindly at some fixed target, with no real goal. Marksmanship is rarely taken into consideration in this game. XBOX was designed to deliver the best graphic quality of any video game console. The graphics in MOH: Frontline are a joke. It looks like something from PS1 or the Nintendo 64. Movement is choppy, the scenery and backgrounds look blurred and the software bugs are just too annoying. It is very hard to distinguish items from another in this game.
The overall idea of a franchise where centered in World War II is a great concept, but MOH just continues to disappoint with each game, with poor gameplay and just terrible graphic quality.』
(While it can't compete with games like Brothers in Arms or Call of Duty, it's still a fun Xbox classic that's worth a try.) 『This game truly brings back old memories. But by todays video game standards, Medal of Honor Frontline has definitely seen it's day and you get kind of a been there, done that, feeling while you play it. Frontline's simple run and gun concept gives it more of an arcade-like experience, which definitely turns most gamers away, especially with games turning towards more of a realistic combat experience (Brothers in Arms, Ghost Recon, etc.) But the pure fun of running through it's linear levels blasting Germans away is what keeps it alive, making Frontline worth playing.
The reason why my gameplay rating is low is because of Frontline's linear levels and simple game concept. In the game, you play as Lieutenant Jimmy Patterson, who is basically a one-man super soldier. Therefore, you pretty much go through missions alone and without allies, and when you do have fellow soldiers, you are still doing all the work. You can get shot hundreds of times and not be phased. This makes the game incredibly unrealistic. But on the plus side, the weapons, locations, and soldier uniforms are all fairly accurate at representing their real-life counterparts, which helps to add a much more realistic feel to the game. But still, for gamer's looking for a simple arcade-style shooter, look no further. But for those looking for more of a realistic simulation of WWII combat, I'd definitely recommend looking else-where, with my personal recommendation being either the Brothers in Arms or Call of Duty series.
The graphics are actually not that bad, considering their age. While some landscapes and character models&animations may look ugly at times, they certainly get the job done. Weapon models look and feel surprisingly good and will show some resemblance to their real-life counterparts. Overall, the graphics look pretty good.
The sound is one of the better portions of the game. All the weapons sound very good and help enhance the lacking gameplay. The voice-overs could use some work, but they at least help put some life to the characters. The music is great and fits the era and game perfectly.
The bargain price of $10-$15 is probably worth the money to add this classic to your collection. The single-player isn't incredibly long, but the multi-player is pretty fun and should keep you busy for a while. The game doesn't have a whole lot to offer, so it might be better as a rental.
The storyline isn't incredibly strong and could have been a lot better, but their is something about Frontline that makes it highly addicting. I don't know what it is about it, but it has an incredibly high tilt level and it is extremely fun to play, even if you are a one-man show.
Medal of Honor Frontline used to be a great game in it's day. But like I said, with game's turning towards incredible realism and more life-like, non-linear, open-ended gameplay, Frontline definitely does not deliver. With it's linear, been there, done that, gameplay, Frontline doesn't appeal to most gamers. Despite these problems, the pure-fun of Frontline definitely makes it worth playing. This makes me believe that Medal of Honor Frontline will remain being an Xbox classic.』
(Loved the game despite some drawbacks) 『This is the first FPS game I've ever played, and I really enjoyed playing it. The storyline and missions are engaging, level of difficulty is good (sometimes too difficult), and the weapons are very realistic. Since I have never played MOH on a PC, I can't really comment on some of the complaints other reviewers here seem to have, but I have had no problem taking aim and shooting down the bad guys. Most of all, I think I liked the human/realistic aspect of this game particularly coz I'm not a big fan of the sci-fi FPS games where you're shooting down demons (can't stand the gore in those games...but that's just me). As for the drawbacks, well there are some major ones: (i) no save points during a mission which becomes very frustrating as you progress to increased levels of difficulty, (ii) very lengthy game, which can be good or bad depending on your preference, but at some points in the game, all I cared about was completing a mission rather than trying to get a gold. One positive of the length is that once you complete the game, you can play it again and you'll still enjoy it...it retains its "newness" factor moreso than other shorter games.
All said, the game is a LOT OF FUN!!』
(Not so hot) 『I got this game for Xbox a little while ago and at first liked it, but now I realize that it's a piece of junk. It's like one man(you) versus the entire nazi army. you barely ever get help from your men, except in a few missions. I highly reccomend Call of Duty instead of this』 『In Medal of Honor: Frontline you go back behind enemy lines as war hero Lt. Jimmy Patterson! (Great cheap alternative to the 360 controller if you use the XBCD drivers and an adapter.) 『I used this for all my PC gaming needs due to the fact that it has two extra buttons at the bottom and I find it unfitting to use a 360 controller and I don't have the console for it which I will not be getting for a some years now. All I did was get a generic Xbox to PC usb adaper, installed the XBCD drivers, and it works on all games that support it. For 100% compatibility, I use Xpadder for games that have poor or no support for controllers. Good example is Half-Life 2. (To much expectations) 『You guys I'm not saying this game is horible but I bought it the day it came out. The problem was I expecteid to see these steriod buff Ray Lewis football players breaking tackles all day long. Instead you get these smaller (Thank God) football players that play more realistic. This was a very positive and very frustating at the same time.
Now this is were all the extras come in handy. All the etras are really fun and addictive but you must hove friends to realy enjoy the mini games. So basiclly you hawve Nfl Street with mini games, a couple of story modes (sort of), an incredable customization system, Xzibt, and new wall moves and you have NFL Street 2.
So this game is pretty sweet with lots of replay value. But I feel EA games is getting sloppy and is doing exactly what Lucisarts did with Star Wars. Over all 4.5 out of 5.0』
(For Kids or NOt?) 『NFL blitz is alive and well on the PSP. Only this time it is called NFL Street 2, and it is a little fancier. First the ugly: this game takes 15 hours to load each game. Not really, but that is what it feels like when you just want to play a quick game. The other ugly thing is that it seems a bit difficult to remember what all of the buttons do. So, though it is fun to do a crazy pitch to the running back or a behind the back throw to a receiver 50 yards away, you can never remember that you now have to control the running back or the receiver with a whole new set of controls. This is seen as a positive thing by many that believe the more complex the game, the more shelf life it will have in a collection. Now, the ugly said, this game is fun enough to last forever in your game collection. Does football ever get old? Then a game that is football on steroids done pretty darn well should not either. Finally, the mini-games are worth mentioning with games of smear the queer and 500 that are just loads of fun. There are a couple of others, but the two mentioned are the only games worth much.
Bottom Line: Is it fun? Get this fun football game. Will I keep it? yep. Is it for kids? Too many buttons.』

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Fun but not exactly "non-slip") 『The product functions properly and is fun, but it still slips around on the floor, so the marginal rating is for calling it a non-slip when it definitely still slips.』
(Functional, but annoying) 『Since this is my only DDR pad at the moment, I have for now stopped playing, though I did tolerate it for some time. First of all, the non-slip bottom is totally ineffective on carpet and hardly better on wood floor. It may not slide, but every step scoots it an inch or so in some direction. I had to resort to extensive duct-taping to keep the thing in one place. I also have problems with the inner electronics layer not staying aligned with the outer cover, meaning that striking an arrow may not actually register when it should, and standing in the middle sometimes registers when it shouldn't, which makes both dancing and menu navigation difficult.
That said, it is cheap and folds for easy storage, and if you're just a casual player it may be enough for you.』
(Gets the job done 4 the DDR game) 『When it said that it was slip resistant, I was stoked, but it isn't. It does work great, but I tend to slip and slide around the living room. If you don't mind that, it will be fine.』
(works fine but not my favorite) 『Of the two pads out there that look the same this one has the non-slip backing and because of that, is a tad bit more bulky. I don't really prefer this one as much but that not in anyway due to its performance. They are equal is terms of sensitivity and response. have had this for about a year, and it's working fine. We don't use it very heavily but occasionally we do have DDR parties and only adults have used them so far. Overall, an ok product. Moves around on carpet despite the non-slip backing, but I for one was not surprised. It's physics.』
(Good mix of price and performance) 『Have only used this a few times so far, but it was at a pretty attractive price point and allows much better flexibility than one of the standalone games (you can get multiple versions of DDR for Xbox versus only the built-in songs on a console).
One thing to note, it must be plugged into controller port 1 or it will not work.』 『Start off your Dance Dance Revolution experience with this brand new, inexpensive Dance Dance Revolution Xbox Non-Slip Dance Pad. Equipped with eight fully functional arrows and non-slip grip bottom for better stability, the Dance Dance Revolution Xbox Non-Slip Dance Pad is suitable for all groups.』
