Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Sims 2 Bustin Out) 『I was wary about how fun the video game version of Sims would be, since I've been a PC user for a long time, but the game is just as fun and the graphics are impressive. They had a lot of fun things you could do and it is very enjoyable to play.』
(Not my favorite) 『I love the Sims, it is a nice break from reality. But this one, I do not like the way you move them. There is a cursor like thing that you move then you push a button to move them to where the cursor is. A real pain. You cannot move the character as you can in some of the other games. Graphics are good, I just wish I was in more direct control of my person.』
(bought for grandson) 『I bought this for my 8 year old grandson. He really enjoyed it. He loved the fact he could leave the house in a sports car. He already has the original Sims Game but he wanted the Bustin Out because he said they get to go more places away from the house. It was easy for him to play.』
(Addictive, addictive, addictive) 『I think this is an awesome game! This was actually the first Sims game I have ever played, and from the moment I turned it on I was hooked. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical about playing a game where all you do is eat, sleep, talk, go to work, etc, but as soon as I started playing I couldn't manage to tear myself away. The graphics are well done, you get to visit many different places, and there are many interesting characters to interact with. I do wish that they had bigger outfit selections, and more options and ways to "detail" or "create" your sim, though. And for some reason, right when I was about to beat the game there was some sort of glitch that wouldn't let me finish it, but other than those two things I had a lot of fun playing, and have played it more than once. Great fun!』
(Awesome!) 『This game is great! There are so many options to customize your home and items to buy for it. I love being able to add swimming pools, hot tubs, and game tables. I also like the fact that you can create a whole family including children sims unlike Sims 2 where you cannot create children sims therefore no complete family. It's so cool though to create and build your own home and furnish it like your fantasy home. My wife loves to design homes so she created one and as best as possible created herself and me in the game as sim characters as well as created a little girl of which we one day hope to have for real. It's just plain ol good fun. And very addicting. It's so very easy to lose track of time while playing. I highly recommend this title.』 『MODEL- 14724 VENDOR- ELECTRONIC ARTS FEATURES- The Sims: Bustin Out Much like the original game The Sims The Sims: Bustin Out lets you create one sim or an entire family of sims and move them into a house you build and design. (Best Comic Book Game!!!) 『This game is the best comic to video game I've ever played. There's so much you can do and it stays true to the character. For fans of the punisher the story is a cross between welcome back frank and a little bit of the movie. Aside from story mode there is plenty to do at the punishers HQ, which will very satisfy anyone whether your a fan of the character or not. To end this I say anyone whose looking for a fun and violent game, this is the right place.』
(GLEEFULLY VIOLENT AND ENTERTAINING 8.25 OUT OF 10) 『The Punisher feels really quite fresh in comparison to what I've played lately when it comes to shooters. The game is basically about a guy named Frank Castle who basically goes about the streets getting rid of crime by means of guns and torture. This game is a third-person action title, and it has a wonderful Manhunt-style when it comes to gruesome killing methods during interrogations for enemies you capture. Here's some examples of what I did in the game; held a guy's head under a drill press and killed him with it when he couldn't give me any useful info, pushed a guy over railing, to the ground below, and then he got crushed in a hydraulic press, kidnapped an enemy in the bathroom, slammed his head against the toilet and drowned him it, held a guy over a pyranha tank and fed him to them, and fed a guy to a wood chipper. That is only some of the things you get to do in this gleefully violent and disturbing game. Some things plague this game from reaching further heights however. An antsy camera during some sequences and enemy AI needs work. It's really no surprise this game is fun considering Volition made Saint's Row, another really fun game. If you're tired of Halo and whatever else you've got when it comes to shooters, The Punisher is the perfect refreshing game for you.』
(Best Comic Based Videogame Ever!) 『This isn't justice; this is punishment, and quite possibly the best videogame based on a comic book made to date. I've played a lot of great super-hero games but this is the king of the mountain. This isn't a game for children, adult's only please, becasue anyone familiar with Marvels line of Punisher MAX comic books will understand why. The badguys in this game drop more F-bombs than Tony Soprano, and there is at least as much blood spilled as in any Mortal Kombat title. The game has a great storyline because it's partially based on the MAX comics, and it also contains appearances by Nick Fury, Matt Murdock (Daredevil), Black Widow, Kingpin, Jigsaw, Bushwacker, Iron Man, and Bullseye. The enemies you encounter range from crack dealers to Russian mercenaries, and the surroundings differ from a funeral parlor to Rykers Island Prison. This is basically, at it's core, your typical shoot-em up, take no prisoners game; however, it's a whole lot more. The interogations of enemies is the real gem in this title and make agent Jack Bauer look like a boyscout. When pumping enemies for information you can pull them torward special skull icons to initiate special interrogations. These are my personal fave: sticking a dude in a woodchipper, sticking a dude in a crematory and cranking the heat, and holding a guy against a rhinosaures's cage so he can get the point. I can't wait for the sequal to this game (I hope there is a sequal), because this is the most played game in my stack. "Every muzzle flash is another monster gone."-Frank Castle aka Punisher』
(A Game Based on Inflicting Pain) 『Based on a classic comic book anti-hero, The Punisher is a decidedly mature title in which a vigilante takes on most of New York City. Be prepared for lots of torture and swearing.
If you know the Punisher comic book series, you know what you're in for. This guy loves to hurt "bad guys" - and anybody he considers a bad guy is fair game. The number of ways in which you can kill your enemies is astounding. You run through a crack house and shoot people in the crotch, in the head, all the while saying "It sucks to be them". The women are trying to sleep with you while you save them. The druggies are claiming you're a mirage.
Every new level offers roaches scuttling across the floor, innocents who you bypass as relatively meaningless, and bad guys who you kill with cold detachment in extremely gruesome ways. You roast them in the fire. You boil them in oil. You slash them with glass. It's all in the name of "progress" - you supposedly are getting information out of them. However, there is no empathy at all. Because your family died, you now are able to kill every other human you run across without much feeling.
There's some wry humor in here, as in when people call out "Hey, it's that finisher dude". There's also incredibly nasty violence if you choose to push someone past their limit. I suppose it's all in your hands - but it's really nasty that they have some options in here.
The graphics are good in a comic booky way. There is a good balance between realistic movements and a smooth animated flow. I do have to comment that his normal "walk" is a bit slow and melodramatic. The audio is well done, with a deadpan main actor and the usual collection of druggies, hookers and other sleazes as people to talk to. There usually isn't much 'background noise' - the screams and pleas of your victims are the soundtrack here.
While this is in general a well done shooter, I admit that I'm not very comfortable with a vigilante running around deliberately causing as much pain as he can to people. If anybody knows what great pain can drive someone to do, it would be him. If someone happens to fall into drugs, I'm not sure that they deserve a window pane to the neck as a "punishment" for that, or that millions of game players out for rest and relaxation should find enjoyment in repeatedly performing that pain-inflicting action.』 『The Punisher Xbox』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Good For Some,But Not For Others) 『This 'Xbox L' controller,or as its better known 'The Duke' is the perfect controller if you have large sized hands,I myself have medium sized hands and I feel that the Duke doesn't feel comfortable in my hands (it doesn't set right,if you know what I mean?) And my hands feel really stressed as well (esp. my right hand)
I spent a fair amount of money on the controller ($20) But it will make a good 2nd player controller :P
Overall I'd have to recommend the 'S' controller as its geared more towards smaller-medium sized hands.』
(Great Controller) 『I love these original controllers although some people do not like them because the controller is large. I have large hands so this controller rocks. Ordered a used one and it works perfectly.』
(Sticky Fingers) 『Shipping and such went without any problems. Upon opening the box, I found the controller to have an unidentifiable sticky substance on the buttons. Also, the trigger buttons suffered from some serious 'act-wildly-unpredictable-and-oftentimes-unresponsive' syndrome. It was admittedly a cheap used controller. The lesson being, you get what you pay for.』
(got it in time) 『controller didnt work, but didnt get a chance to return since item got thrown away before i could return it.』
(Beware of used products....) 『I'm a big sports games fan, but I haven't upgraded to the Xbox 360... the thing is that I feel more comfortable with this old bulky controller than the standard version so I decided to go for a "previously owned" item due to the impossible mission of getting a new one. Everything went ok (price, delivery, item looks, etc.), until I tried to play with it !, the directional pad simply goes mad and there's no way you can have any control of the game...So please, make sure that any used item you wish to buy not only looks good but also WORKS fine!.
』 『Originally the normal Xbox controller for all territories except Japan, this has since been quietly discontinued and replaced in Xbox packs by the Controller S. The black and white buttons are located above the ABXY buttons, and the Back/Start buttons are located between and below the d-pad and right thumbstick. Also, the standard face buttons (ABXY) were oriented in an oblong parallelogram.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (It's the worst LOTR game ever.) 『The only thing I hate about it is the most basic thing in the game,Fighting. You have to go and take turns and theres no action at all.』
(The Lord of the Rings- The Third Age) 『I got this game in a timely manner. I received it before the day it was to be shipped. Good game if you are into RPG's.』
(The Victor of the LOTR series of Games) 『This game is pretty solid over all,(for a game based on a movie, and one as epic as LOTR).However, the fact of random enemy encounters. The way they are handled in the game reminds me of the Dragon Warrior and early FF(Final Fantasy) days, where you do not see it coming so much :).This game is almost just like the movie trilogy(almost picture perfect). That is if you consider the very great graphics, voice acting, scenery, just like in the movies.I appricate that this game was,and IS worlds better then the other EA Games releases. The other LOTR games by EA Games and that pathetic lil' attempt at doing the job with those that this one does,VERY movie like. Some replay value to be had, some quirk things in the game. However, that dos not take away the fact that this game is a gem of sorts considering the other titles out there today. This game is the best if not THE best of all the LOTR games. If you are an RPG/strategy gamer like myself, and a LOTR fan this game is a MUST.You can also play good or evil sides of The One Ring, but not like a full game, just in mini games?!Which is a BIG down side to the game.Only to play as Sauron's forces.Just takes patients to max out the characters in the game to really experiance this games beauty and splender as a great attempt at duplicating an epic film to make the best game of this franchise.Until next review!!! ~Dlwynndnn』
(a pretty cool rpg) 『this lord of the rings based game touches on some ideas from the films but ultimately mixes them all up.there are a number of friendly faces on your team.such as 1-a bo wielding ranger,2-a magic chick,3-a knight,4-a dwarf,5-an axe weilding chick and some more ive misplaced in my mind.they go through thier missions d and d style.the battles are d and like also.that is one person goes then someone else then......you can switch up when characters get thrashed.there are like 9 million upgrades.in nearly every battle there is some new necklace or battle armor piece.the monsters are basicly goblins, orcs and the like.you also have to work with stats.that is,you get points for defeating evil and spend them to make your characters more fast or healthy or whatever like that.this game requires a bit of strategy.its a good rpg.its no "knights of the old republic" or "fable",but its in the top ten.』
(Best Roll Playing Game Ever!) 『In this game you can have up to 5 characters. They can be armed with equipment as you find chess through the game. You can fight orcs,goblins,trolls,uruk-hia,and many more. When you are in battle you can choose what type of attack you want. This game can be very addicting.』 『Electronic Arts Lord of the Rings Third Age Xbox Lord of the Rings, The Third Age videogame allows players to adventure through Middle-earth, building a party of heroes as they journey. Players battle on the side of the Fellowship, but can unlock additional encounters where they fight on the side of Sauron as they progress. In the game, players will interact with the characters of the Fellowship in a unique structure, taking on individual quests while intersecting the major events of the film trilogy that drive the story forward. Parties will traverse through both familiar and seldom-glimpsed locations, using an innovative turn-based battle system as they fight, encountering the demonic Balrog in the Mines of Moria, defending the fallen city of Osgiliath, or trying to destroy Helm's Deep.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Not much of a game.) 『The three campaigns in this real-time strategy game are set on similar-looking maps, the objectives (even the discover-able optional ones) are predictable, the actual strategies are basic, the AI mediocre (pathfinding in particular is a significant issue), there's very little in the way of presentational touches (not even cinematics at the end of each campaign) and the play, while outwardly difficult at medium level, becomes far easier once you discover the upgrades ... at which time your over-powered crew can take on pretty much all comers. I enjoyed the Alien campaign best -- there's something corruptly fun about running a hive -- but the elaborate alien-creation process aside, it's cut from the same cheap cloth as its Marine and Predator counterparts. Try Goblin Commander instead. :)』
(Fun the first time through) 『Well, first off, let me say the game can be fun if you're into creating armies of Aliens, Predators and Marines, pitting them against your enemies and spending an hour on dragging around bodies, picking up trophies and fixing Atmospheric Processors. I like that kind of stuff, so it was fun for me. But too short. There are many levels in the game that the second time through can be beaten in fifteen minutes. The graphics are okay, control scheme simple to learn, and overall gameplay addicting. But the major flaw is in the fact it's too simple and repetitive. The environments stick close to same for each playable races, aliens are usually in a dank cave or jungle, humans in a building or mine, and Predators in a jungle or Alien hive. The races don't stick to close to the films they appear in, most of the 'new' species of Aliens are infact non-canon, meaning they aren't officially real in the films, but most don't car about that. Another thing is on going back through, there should be some sort of upgrade or cheat allowing you for a more free-play like game. That's not there, which I was a bit disappointed in. But overall, it was fun the first time through, replay value is slim and it was good while it lasted.』
(Not what I was expecting....) 『Fans of the classic AVP, and AVP 2 put crafted by Rebellion Studios and Sierra respectively will be scratching their heads when they pop this game into their xbox. This is not a FPS, or a FP squad based game. Why they would create an AVP game so completely divorced from the interactive experience found on the PC versions that developed a global audience is baffling.』
(ok game) 『First of all id like to say that this game is pretty fun, but it doesnt compare to other rts games like say starcraft, but it is creative. Also that kid who says he is a marine "genaral" is wrong about the alien battle system. It can get frustrating when you suddenly get attacked and you dont have enough aliens for a strong defence, but you dont have to chase a potential host into your nest area, unless you are using a certain type of alien, attacking someone wont kill them, it puts them in a coma and you can assign a drone or something to drag them back to your nest where a facehugger will do the rest. So, I dont believe the aliens are that bad, i think the predators are the least fun. if your interested, rent the game first.』
(Rating from marine genaral) 『Okay overall this game is pretty good. Yeah you may think aliens or predators should be picked but don't underestimate the marines. So they have low health yeah and when tou are fighting against an alien hive or predator clan things can and only have three man left things can get pretty ugly. But the aliens hive system stinks first you have to hatch a egg then you have to chase the hosts to the egg area with a regular alien and if you get the wrong host you were loking for to make a certain alien you have to do it over again. And of course the predators cloaking does absoulutily nothing to help you.Marines have an advanatage over all the other race and that is heavy firepower. Sureyou may be fithing a huge 10 foot tall Alien queen but with even five infantry units have enough fire power to kill 5 alien hives oor predator clans. Lets face it if you have two marine exosuits with twin torrent cannos against a 10 foot alien queen anyone would know whos gonna win. They may die easily but marines are the dominant species. Coming in second would probably would be the predators flying edged discs through the head would kill anybody right? THe reason aliens come in third is their hive system say on mission one you go through all the trouble to make a queen you lead her into combat with the marines thinking it will give you an edge wrong! ten marines lay heavy firepower on your queen and you have to reatreat and do the process all over again that is if you were smart enough to lay a Praetorian egg before leaving. So this game is great still feel weird about buying it then rent it. But trust me stick with the marines!』 『Aliens Vs. Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Nothing special) 『Nothing special about this game. It's another first person shooter but with monsters, creepy backgrounds, and creepy cut scenes. Okay if you like those type of games.』
(One of my Favorites) 『The game itself hasn't gotten the positive reviews it's deserved over the years.. It absolutely ROCKS! You are Torque, a man convicted for slaughtering his wife and children where, in prison, he discovers that things aren't quite what they appeared to be. The controls (XBOX) are a bit tricky getting fluent with at first, but, when they become your second gaming nature (which doesn't take too long), watch out... hours of creepy fun. And, one of the best qualities that The Suffering offers is that you can choose to be good or evil with your gameplay, what you choose will effect the conclusion, and, the side you chose to be on in The Suffering part 1 can be automatically read and transfered over into the Suffering part 2- Ties That Bind (being if you kept the saved data from The Suffering part 1 in your counsel). This is a staple for Horror/Survival genre gamers and a good ol' scary time for everyone. Now, buy the game, load it up, turn the lights off and prepare for something your won't forget anytime soon.』
(Very Mediocre) 『I bought a used copy of this game after it was touted by Game Informer as having one of the top ten scariest game moments. How can you go wrong with a horror game set in a prison?
Loveless execution, that's how. This game feels like a simple mod of a generic third-person shooter with some prison uniform skins slapped into place. The playability is uninteresting and loose -- the characters sort of slide across the ground while scissoring their legs instead of looking like they're actually making contact with the ground while running, and so on.
Torque's lack of reaction to anything around him consistently bothered me. An iron door would slam right behind him, or a guard would be torn in half immediately before him, and he would have NO REACTION AT ALL (in contrast, think about Resident Evil 4 -- Leon would crouch slightly in reaction to nearby explosions). This could probably be passed of as trying to cast Torque as stony and cold, but in reality I'm sure it was that the dev shop management didn't budget for those little extras that really breathe life into the game.
The attempted 'gritty' language is just egregious. Combined with the stupid AI, it leads to some real annoyances -- for example, I was following an NPC, and I stopped to look at something and apparently wasn't following quickly enough for his satisfaction. He starts hollering the same "come on, m*** f***r!" audio clip over and over at ten-second intervals, drawing my wife into the living room so she can scold me for the game's pointless, naughty language.
The fact that the game is older really isn't an excuse for its high degree of crappitude -- there are some truly hair-raising, beautifully crafted horror games that are 4+ years old -- Eternal Darkness and the 'Haunted Asylum/Orphanage' level in Thief: Deadly Shadows come to mind.
Life's just too short to play mediocre games. Stick with solid action games like RE4 or Riddick, or lovingly crafted horror titles like the ones mentioned above. Strongly suggest you skip this game.』
(Not really scary, but still pretty fun) 『Good atmosphere and game design make this better than average. I wouldn't say that I was ever really scared by it, but then it is just a game. There is an interesting collection of enemies and some decent, but basic, weapons. The story itself has some thought put into it and although it uses checkpoints, it also allows you to save whenever you want.』
(The most terrifying game since Fatal Frame II) 『Imagine a game that is a cross between "Max Payne" and "Silent Hill." That is just what you will get in this extremely unnerving and disturbingly scary game, "The Suffering."
You play a character by the name of Torque, and you have been framed for the murder of your family. As punishment, you are sent to Carnate Island, and put on death row for 8 years until you are executed.
WARNING: SOME SPOILERS AHEAD
Then, an "earthquake" happens, and bizarre creatures, shaped by the horrific executions they endured, begin to kill the inmates, and guards in many gruesome ways.
This game is really, in my opinion, an A rated game, masked by an M rating. The violence is very disturbing, and extremely scary. There is alot of Strong Language, and some drug references. Also, the thematic material may be too intense for some people.(I forgot to mention there is an extremely high blood and gore factor in this game.) Good luck............ ;)』 『The Suffering - a terrible evil was unleashed in a maximum security prison. A violent environment has been unspeakably brutal, and a young felon named Torque will have to survive&find answers in this dirty, gritty world. Explore the deepest recesses of the most horrible prison environment Dynamic lighting and shadowing effects, combined with frantic combat sequences, sure to shock&disturb players Multiple endings depending on how you play the game』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Jet Jaguar! Friend to all children (&adults)) 『I got this game, rather than the previous version, because you get Jet Jaguar here. He's the coolest one. Someone reviewed him as being a stupid monster in this game with a pointless ability to change his size. Actually the size shifting is functional in battle. I just wish Giant Robot or Ultraman were included as well. Anyways, this is a good, fun Xbox game. Your can fight a 4-way melee with the monsters of your choice (go online and get the master-unlock-everything cheat), set difficult on "hard" and watch those things go off on each other, throwing buildings and ships and whatnot. I really like and recommend "Godzilla save the Earth". It's just semi-mindless, action-packed fun.』
(Good, Especially If You Don't Own Melee) 『For what it is, an update of Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee, it is really good. You have more monsters and even some mini games during gameplay and you can play games seperately. When it comes to the overall gameplay, monster selection and minigames, this game has Melee beat.
The monsters that were on Melee are here along with a host of others that weren't. Baragon, Space Godzilla, and Jet Jaguar among others have been added to this game and it is great. The minigames are also fun. From destroying cities to saving buildings from invading aliens, the game offers a lot in the fun area.
The only real bad thing about this game is that it is basically a rehash of the story that was in Melee. This is the sequel. Overall, this game is really worth getting, especially if you don't have the Gamecube game. The sad thing is that this was originally supposed to have a deep story, but it was cut due to time restraints. Oh well, I guess a sequel to Melee is better than nothing at all.』

(More like "Orga Rules!") 『Here is a little bit about some of the monsters in this game... 1.Godzilla 2000 7/8 Godzilla 2000 is a powerful opponent, but of course he is no match for Orga. 2.Space Godzilla 7/8 Space Godzilla would score higher if only it did not take him so long to recharge his energy attacks (and wasn`t so slow). 3.Mecha King Ghidorah 7/8 Mecha King Ghidorah is so fast using one attack after another, he sometimes gets annoying to play as. 4.Mothra 7/8 Mothra is unfortunetely a rather weak monster as an adult but as a larva she can just fight the opponent until she gets low health, then turn into an adult and usually she can easily defeat the already-damaged opponent. 5.King Ghidorah 6/8 King Ghidorah has good air and energy attacks, but if he is still recharging while on the ground, he is easy to defeat. 6.Mechagodzilla 3 6/8 Mechagodzilla 3 has great energy attacks, but lacks the power of using them enough. 7.Jet Jaguar Jet Jaguar stinks with energy attacks, but his normal attacks are suprisingly good... Anyway, as my title says Orga rules in this game and the other kaiju include Destroyah, Gigan, Megalon, Rodan, Anguirus, Megaguirus, Mechagodzilla 2, Moguera 2 and Baragon.』
(The Best Godzilla Game for the Best Game System) 『Action mode in this game rocks! You use your monster to beat the crud out of other monsters and you get money for each win which you then use to buy more powerful monsters with. Godzilla 90`s is easily the best in the game. Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Fun to play, But alot better with multi player) 『With out a doubt, this is a great x-box game. I know that a lot of people say it's "boring" or "to easy", And yea i agree it is a little easy, but why don't you just turn the difficulty on hard in the pause menu. Second, This is a very loooooonnnnnngggggg game. But when you think about it. Those are the games you like. i don't know about everybody else, but for me, as soon as you beat it, you don't feel like playing it anymore. This game for some reason i don't mind playing over. And when you play with four people you get almost three times the amount of gold out of chests than just one.
Overall, i think this is going to be a classic game, especially to play with your friends, and i would recommend it to anybody who like these type of games.』
(a good team-playing game) 『If you've played Baldur's Gate before, then *Dungeons&Dragons: Heroes* will be a piece of cake for you. In fact, I found it to be a bit too easy, especially when battling the "bosses" for each level.
Nonetheless, team-playing is always fun with destroying the enemies, collecting coins, weapons and rewards, discussing strategies with your teammates and the like. The best part is solving the riddle or looking for sacred items in order to advance to the other side or the next level.
I was the rogue which I accidently chose because I wanted to be the wizard. So, that meant I had to battle with a bow and arrows and an array of swords (cutlass, kris, etc.) My teammate was a fighter that has this awesome "war cry" that, when used, paralyzes enemies in their place for a few seconds. This gave us the opportunity to destroy them before the spell fades away.
Overall, it was a fun game! Now, I just need to go to the bathroom and put on a band-aid on my raw thumbs. Played this game over the weekend until we finished it!』
(Nothing Special,.......Believe Me !!!!!!!!!!!) 『Hey, if you love Dungeons and Dragons or classic Gaunlet/Diablo RPG styled games and such,.... but overall this game is very bland and somewhat boring!!! There is no innovation or nothing special that will have you saying hey this game is freaken' awesome man.... yeah!!! "Dungeons and Dragons: Heroes" is a complete clone of "Balder's Gate" similar in so many ways,.... it's actually kind of scary!!!
Yes, it was fun for a little while playing around with the 4 player co-op, which was a blast and even along withthe vast weapon and magic combos.... which gave you and your character a lot of options, when leveling up and such,..... beyond that there isn't much else to say. The level design is bland; the combat get's repetive, the graphics are choppy, and the game is overall a breeze; with maybe the exception of finding all 20 soul shards that will power up your weapons and abilites and such. The most annoying thing of all being the classic barrel/box smashing,.... hello were in the 21th century,.... be free to be more creative!!!
Besides, the flaws though the game can be fun, like the boss battles are farily fun, but it was a game I played for awhile,.... left sitting there for about a year and a half and ended up really getting into it, though the game was barely a challenge to a gamer of my level easily beating the game less than 15 hours flat, combinding all the time I actually put into the game. It is a very solid game,.... but the camera pissed me off zooming in and out at will give me a break. You do though get a bunch of Character options throughout the game. You get to choose between:
-a Fighter(Human): Built on strength/brute force and along with deffense, many physical attack combos: sweet finishing moves: ~ Assec. Weapon Sword
-a Cleric(Dwarf): Built on Wisdom and Charma, vast spell and weapon combos make this character interesting ~ Assec Weapon: Hammer
-a Wizard(Elf) Based around Intellegence and Magicial spells, and some other neat tricks ~ Assec. Weapon: Staff;
-a Rogue(Half link/ hobbit like creature) Based around Dexlerity and Technique, very small with a nice seat of daggers for serious death dealing ~ Assec Weapon (s): Daggers
Each character is unique, with customizeable inventories attack combos, spell, magic, weapons armor, and anything that you would typically find in any basic RPG or Dungeons and Dragons board game!!! Best played together: it's painfully boring at times playing alone. The only thing that makes this game shine is the 4 player co-op and the D&D liscence, .... people give this game too much credit!!! Hey, in my opinion the orginal Dungeons and Dragons game blows this out of the water,.... and hey what's even the point of buying this with the new Dungeons and Dragons: Online game coming out for the PC, along with other games like Warcraft which are 100 times better than this. You also have new RPG's out like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Fable, and so many others which are way better than this!!!
I mean heck, if you want to blow $50 hard earned on medicore material while, you could get Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic for about $20 bucks be free to it's a free country. Hey, I guess if you love RPG's or D&D you might find a lot of enjoyment,.... but this game is par in my opinion, no more....no less!!! I do think they could have had better quests as well,... for example the side quests were all stupid... and frankly pointless!!! Along with barrel/box smashing action and open treasure chest opening hunting for gold!!! It gets old after awhile,.... game developers try something new!!!
Overall, the game recieves a 3/5, no masterpiece,.... but still it does remind alot like Galunet.... and the co-op was fun as well, there is so much this game could have been better at!!!』
(Overall Great Game......Especially 4 player co-op!!!!!!!!!!) 『Dungeons and Dragons: Heroes ...... can be darn fun, the highlight being the 4 player co-op which makes this game different from most of the other games on the market!!! Well, it's the same old, same old, with the Gaunlet/ Dialbo feel and the Balder's Gate look!!!
The game isn't perfect either.....!!! Don't get me wrong it is a great game but, nothing special, well except for the 4 player co-op which keeps this game fun!!! I will admit the environmets were vast and unique, along with plot twists, nice weapon/magic combinations, side quests, and boss battles, along with the search for the for the 20 soul shards!!! The soul shards basicaly power up your weapon, for each 5 your main weapon powers up to a new level!!!
Yeah, Yeah but if you play straight through the game you could beat anywhere from 10-14 hours!!! The boss battles are fairly easy, and the game is pretty easy, the only challenging part would be finding all the soul shards... which actually wasn't hard either!!! The camera gets on my nerves at times, and the gameplay gets bland and repetive after awhile!!! Their may be vast power up options and so-on, like I said it's the same stuff from most RPG's!!! The only two things that make this game stand out from the rest is the: Dunegons and Dragons name and .... of course the co-op!!! You choose from the: Fighter/Human, Cleric/Dwarf, Wizard/Elf, and the Rogue/Halfling... all 4 heroes who defeated the evil wizard Kaiden, now 150 later they are called upon again to save Baele from the ressurected and very much still evil Kaiden!!! Nice, story.....huh!!!!
Yes,Dungeons and Dragons is fun, in fact a must have for any fan, but it could have been better!!! Just look at new next gen RPG's like: Fable, Star Wars: KOTOR, Star Wars: KOTOR 2, and Jade Empire!!! Although, D&D has the co-op and classic feel, it can't compare to the games listed above!!! Maybe back in 99' or 00' this would have been a great, and new innovative game, but being a good game, in an industry filled with awesome games it will be over looked!!!
Pro: -Great news for Dunegons and Dragons fans -4 player co-op -Nice Magic and Fighting combinations -Nice Environments -Lot's of cool enemies -A lot of player options - When Gaunlet meets Balder's Gate - Great Concept - Classic RPG feel!!!
Cons: -Nothing original -Bad camera -Not as fun in single player mode -Gets old after awhile -Falls short of expetations, graphic wise!!! -Sometimes Freezes Up!!! -Gosh, just like mostly any other RPG, not innovative!!!
As you can see this game has a lot of faults along with a lot of good features, but the 4 player co-op, game play variety, along with the vast environments make you forget about most of the faults!!! Overall, I suggest you at least rent it, if not buy it great game 4/5 stars!!!

(Great multiplayer) 『The main reason I buy console games is for the multiplayer option. If I want a single player game I buy it for my pc. This game is a fun hack&slash game. If you are looking for a complicated game with a wide variety of level ups this game isnt the game for you.
It does include the very basics for for an rpg, and an story line that you have to adhere to strictly whuch is very similiar to baldurs gate for the console. This game is worth buying because of the multiplayer option with up to 4 players co-op. This game is very addictive and found myself staying up to the late hours of night playing it with my friends.
This is a good game if your looking for something to play with your friends, but if your looking for a good multiplayer rpg your better off with the morrowind series or the baldur gate games for the computer 』 『Dungeons&Dragons: Heroes delivers the incredible gameplay you crave, in a fantasy world waiting for you to conquer it! Stunning 3D graphics, Dolby 5.1 sound, devastating secrets to uncover, and glory to earn -- it's all waiting for you in the world of Dungeons&Dragons!』
