(Queen's........Of The Beach Towel) 『This game, if you really want to call it that, is really quite bad. When I think of a good volleyball game I think of "Kings Of The Beach" for NES. It's really quite sad that a game from 20 years ago on a 8 bit system blows away this 128 bit pile. The game play is so inconsistent you'll be lucky if you can even serve the ball over the net let alone spike the ball without it hitting the net. If you have to dive for the ball chances are that you'll still be getting up when it's hit back to you, and trying to get your partner to actually show some teamwork with you is nearly impossible. The scoring is not done right and you don't really have time to form relationships with your partner to get them to work better with you. I actually had the most fun playing the "Hopping" mini game, not because it was so fun, but more because I could actually win while playing. I also thought the casino part sucked but I don't really like gambling anyway. I'm not sure it's fair to classifyDoA:XBVas a volleyball game. Sure, you'll spend a bit of time playing volleyball, but the gameplay is so basic that there are literally only two buttons: one to pass to your teammate and another to send the ball to the opposing side of the net. It's probably more accurate to labelDoA:XBVas an unusual "relationship" game, with volleyball just one of several ways to earn money to spend on gifts for girls. Each girl has a set of items that they like; the actual object of the game is to figure out what those items are, where to buy them, and how to present them to each girl. Well-wooed girls will partner up with you for volleyball matches, or allow themselves to be convinced to try on slinkier and more exotic swimwear. For example: if you want Kasumi to try on the barely-there "Venus" swimsuit, you're going to have to shower her with gifts of strawberries, balloons, and origami.
What the game lacks in depth, volleyball gameplay, or features it makes up for in eye candy. The well-modeled, bouncy characters attract the most attention, but the island’s beaches and jungles are also universally gorgeous--and most of the volleyball courts can be played at different times of the day. (my favorite drifting game for any console) 『This has to be the end all, be all of the drifting games out there. I know what some may say about it, that the drifting game play is nothing like what a real car does. What I'm really trying to convey here is that its a video game, and the drifting simulation for the original nfs underground is sick fun. It always has me trying to push the car a little harder, and a little faster into the corners. If your looking to kill some time, and like the the nfs series, look no farther than the original nfs underground for drifting.
I also recommend rally sport 1, and 2. It's some intense driving fun as well.』
(Inexperienced drivers need not apply) 『First of all, here are the good points for this game:a very nice selection of cars, from a Ford Focus and Mitsubishi Eclipse to a Nissan Skyline GT-R. All are quite customizable, with special hoods, roof scoops, wheel rims, and side skirts. Special decals broadcasting who modified your car can be placed on the doors and windshield. Add your own decals like stripes, flames, etc. on your car as well. Some in my own opinion make the car look worse, not better, but like I said, that's a matter of opinion. Performance modifications like turbos and nitro can be added as well. I got my own car to around 206 mph from these upgrades. If you do well enough, some of the characters in the game will challenge you to a time trial. Win and you get a free body or engine upgrade; lose and you get nothing.
The tracks themselves are a bit interesting as well. There are circuit, point-to-point races, as well as drag and drift events. In the circuit and point-to-point races,you should notice shortcuts along the way. Take them for extra points. Some are simple,like cutting corners, others involve flying (literally) through parking garages under construction. Note: if you use an automatic transmission, practice with a manual before you try this game. The drag races are manual transmission only.
The bad parts are as follows: I know it is called Underground for a reason, but I would like to see some daytime racing instead of only night time. Also, quite often the gap between me and the guy in 2nd was between 0.03 to 0.94 seconds or so, hence the title for this review. That was with the easy level too. Hard can be won, it just takes a few more restarts. One other thing is that the opponents in this game are not afraid of contact with you or the wall, so long as they go faster.
So, this is not a bad game, just be ready to take a few hits and provide some yourself in the later parts of the game, but don't worry, there is no damage in this game.』

Easily the best part is modding the cars. There's a pretty big selection of cars, at least big enough for me.
The lack of tracks though kind of irritates me. There's about 5 tracks total for circuit mode, but usually you have to run them in reverse or "mirrored" so it seems like there are tons of tracks. Some tracks are hard though.
The farther you progress in Underground mode, the harder it gets. It's more of an arcade style racing game. I like it better than Project Gotham Racing 2. Probably because PGR2 is very realistic and you have to really get on the brakes in the corners. In NFSU, you can take turns at higher speeds and it's more fun than hitting the breaks all the time.
It's a very deep game and I've probably played it about 20 hours so far and I havent beaten it yet. I would definitely recommend it.』

The free throw shooting is also slightly more confusing than it needs to be. Other than that, it rocks. The graphics are EXCELLENT! The playmakers freestyle thing is excellent - LeBron rocks! The dunk contest is the same as '06, which is fine because it was good then too! It is a little too hard to modify your dunks because the buttons must be pushed at exactly the right moment.

(Very Bad Game) 『This game is extremely bad. The graphics are bad and after you beat it once you don't want to ever beat it again. You are in 2nd person shooter which is bad and your enemys dissapear after they die which is unrealistic. The multiplayer is the only thing that saved this game from getting a 1 star. (5 years later and I still play it the best bond game from EA) 『After this game EA simply could not live up to the Bond title following Everything or Nothing, Goldeneye RA(worst bond game ever), and then the mediocre From Russia With Love. This is my favorite post-GoldenEye Bond game. Thankfully EA will not be developing more Bond games in the near future or if there will be any Bond games in the near future. At the time I remember saying the graphics can't get any better than this, 5 years later the graphics are still stunning(yes its outdated but still enjoyable). However this game isn't perfect. It is missing 2 very important factors, 1 no system link capabilities, 2 no xbox live to be found at all. I understand they released this game a little before xbox live was first released but maybe they could have put it on hold and added an xbox live option. There is one more problem I have with the game and that is like many others have said its to short if it were longer it would of been better than GoldenEye in my eyes. You will not find a better bond game on next-gen consoles then this one its as close to GoldenEye as your ever gonna get.』
(Great Fun!!) 『This is probably the best Bond FPS since Goldeneye, but it has one flaw, Pierce Brosnan doesn't talk for himself and the actor sounds nothing like Pierce! That's not a big deal when you read it, but it is kind of weird to hear a voice that sounds more like Sean Connery coming out of Pierce's mouth. The action and story, however, are really exciting and fun to play. It's not only FPS, but you are also driving levels as well. My favorite part is that you actually get to drive in a submarine car like what was in the movie "The Spy Who Loved Me". Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (I feel the hate growing within me) 『Obi Wan is a real embarrassment for LucasArts, similar to Bounty Hunter for the PS2 and Gamecube. How a major publisher could put out such a sloppy, buggy game with so little unique content is pretty shameful. Those condemnations aside, it has its genuinely fun moments.
The hallmark of George Lucas's career may end up not being the Star Wars series itself (he's tarnished that a bit with the prequels), but the creation of the lightsaber. This singular weapon is what makes Obi-Wan the game shine, and rescues it from total failure. The sound and visuals of the sabre ripping through droids and zinging scenery is just a joy from start to finish. Using the right analog stick to swing the lightsaber was one of the few sparks of creative brilliance by the developers. Obi's sabre is the essence of fun from start to finish. Every repetitive battle, mowing down wave after wave of Tusken Raiders and deflecting blaster shots back into droids, never ceased to amuse me. It's a testament to the brilliance of this mechanic that I trudged through the entire game.
As far as level design, the Naboo palace is the only bright spot in the game. It's colorful and fun to explore, unlike the rest of the drab uninspired game. Anything the developers created out of their own imagination, in other words outside of Naboo, is dull and lifeless. I could spend a page lowlighting all the various failures of the game, like the forgettable story, occasionally awful graphics, abrupt and unsatisfying endgame, choppy and sloppy environmental interaction, on and on. But there are 119 other reviews that have already done that well.
I only want to emphasize that as bad as the game is, and as disappointingly as it ends, the meat of the saber-swinging gameplay is such a pleasure that it makes Obi-Wan a worthwhile task.』
(Pretty good) 『This game is pretty good. It has many good things about it, but also many flaws. It is very cool how you fight. You dont press a button and it does the moves for you like in most games, but you actually choose the way youre going to hit with the analog stick. It has a pretty good plot line. Probably the worst part of it is its graphics. These are not the graphics you can expect from an Xbox game. Its more like computer graphics. Also, it gets a little old playing with the same person. I mean I know the game is about Obi-Wan, but it just gets a little boring. Most games like this let you pick a different jedi once in a while or any time you want. (Hey,..... Could Have Been Better !!!!!) 『Obi Wan is a great hack n' slash game like "Jedi Power Battles" (PsOne) or the adventure/ puzzle feel of The Tomb Raider games (PsOne)!!! Don't get me wrong good game but, PsOne type graphics!!! How the Xbox can produce graphics this bad, just amazes me when I see games like Halo 2 or The Cronicles of Riddick!!! Hey, now their selling it for only $19.99 since it was a Platinum Hit, if a game is at that status it's usually a good sign!!! Well, Knights of the Old Republic is the same price though,.... really if you had a choice between the two which one would you pick!!! This isn't the best game out their and is now forgotten by many, but is a good piece of hidden treasure!!!
Well, their may be some bad graphics and some chessy voice overs, but it is still a solid game filled with some fun gameplay!!! It may not look like much when you first see it but, once you start playing through the game it kind of get addictied!!! The game is a little too easy, and could have been worked out better!!! Gosh I thought the battle with Darth Maul on the last level was going to actually be hard and well it ends up being the easiest one to me!!! It didn't take much time to beat it, I say just rent it, beat it and move on!!! Well, the only multiplayer thing is the arena!!! Which was kind of neat but, after about 3 times of playing that I was bored!!!
Anyways, I liked the variety of puzzles, hack n' slash action, along with some sweet force powers!!! You go from fighting gangs, to miner, to sand people, to droids, ..... you see their is alot of depth and detail in level design!!! If this was released on the PsOne this would have been awesome!!! As you look at other games, you see their really isn't much that boosts the gameplay up, it's nothing special!!! It is fun though, I'll give it that, but this isn't an Xbox quality game!!!
If you can get this game cheap, be free to buy it, but this is not worth $50, not by a long shot!!! So if you've tried out every other Star Wars game and are looking for something different you should probably rent it!!! This game is for hardcore Star Wars or hack n' slash laid back adventure fans!!!

I really can't comprehend why a game made for the X-Box would look this bad. These are the kind of graphics that are found on a Nintendo 64. The actual sound effects themselves aren't really all that bad, but don't stand out either. The voice acting is almost painful to listen to. Every time I heard Obi-Wan say a line, I cringed. He sounds almost as bad as I do trying to fake a Scottish accent. The story is pretty forgetful. Often I would even forget about why I was in a situation slicing everything to bits with my lightsaber.
Overall this game isn't too bad and I think a lot of people would enjoy it. Just don't go in with your expectations set too high.』

Since you play as Obi-Wan, the primary weapon in your arsenal is the lightsaber. Using a third-person view, you use the left thumbstick to control Obi-Wan and the right thumbstick to control the lightsaber. In principle this sounds fantastic, but in practice it's a mess--the camera constantly shifts angles, making it hard to see certain enemies, and planning a coordinated attack with the lightsaber is unnecessarily difficult, especially when multiple enemies are swarming in from all sides.
Graphically,Obi-Wanis lifeless. It fails to take advantage of the Xbox's fancy graphics hardware, and the environments are empty and plain.The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, a game released for the obsolete Nintendo 64 system, features much more beautiful graphics. And playingObi-Wanafter playingHaloorMunch's Oddyseewill make aStar Warsfan weep at the thought of how goodObi-Wanshould have looked. Compounding the ugly graphics problem is the fact that the game will slow to a crawl at certain points, making jumping or fighting practically impossible. Almost as bad as the poor graphics is the horrid voice acting (Obi-Wan sounds like Mike Myers doing a bad Scottish accent), and the all-too-frequent cinematic cutscenes look like they were slapped together in five minutes.
There are some tiny diamonds in the vast rough, such as the ability to use Force powers to throw objects at enemies or pull weapons out of their hands. A feature sure to please fans of the dramatic saber fights inEpisode Iis the multiplayer Jedi Battles mode. This mode lets you and a buddy engage in fierce Jedi duels, using characters from the movie and game. Unfortunately, these few nice touches aren't enough to overcomeObi-Wan's bland setting and lame execution.--William Harms

(Good while it lasts.) 『Justice League Heroes plays a lot like X-Men Legends and I think thats what Snowblind was going for when they developed the game. The game is not long by Action/Rpg standards but its still long enough to be entertaining. Level design is mediocre for the most part but at least looks decent, there's just nothing that really stands out. Character models look like there respective characters. Overall the graphics are above average in most departments. Music is about average and the voice acting is surprisingly done half way decent. The CGI scenes is pretty much the highlight of the game and will keep you playing just so you can see the next cut scene. Gameplay like I said is a lot like X-Men Legends which is a good thing because its a fun formula. Enhancing your powers is not too in depth here but is still fun because you can make your characters stronger in certain areas. Also there are some unlockables as in you can buy new costumes and some new characters with shields you pick up. Overall I highly recommend this game since you can get it at a fair price. Replay value is up to the individual person. I enjoyed the game from start to finish so I will be playing again at least one more time through.』

(Time to save the world) 『Justice League Heroes is an action RPG game in the same vein as Marvel Ultimate Alliance and X-Men Legends. You take control of heroes like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern to save the world from Brainiac, Grodd, and other DC villains.
I had a lot of fun with this game, though it's not a perfect adventure. True to genre conventions, you roam around maps from an overhead perspective, beating up enemies and slowly leveling up your characters. Each character has 5 special powers you can use, from Zatanna's polymorph ability (turn enemies into rabbits!) to Wonder Woman's lasso and Superman's heat vision. Your mileage will vary with each character - Superman and Wonder Woman are the powerhouses (just like in the comics), and with some leveling up I found Batman to be pretty useful. I never got the hang of Flash, and Green Lantern felt more like a defensive character with his energy shields and cages. The game contains a 'Boost System' that lets you mix and match collected power-ups to create stronger ones to help augment your powers. It adds a bit of depth to what is otherwise a fairly straightforward setup. Early on you'll find you're fairly weak and resort to hit-and-run tactics against enemies. While this never really goes away (your health regenerates over time, so you'll be resting quite a bit), eventually you'll be able to take quite a bit of punishment and give back even more. This is when Justice League Heroes comes to life, and you really feel like you're Superman and Batman.
The game is 2-players only, and half the time restricts you to specific characters each level to further the story (which is written by Justice League Unlimited producer Dwayne McDuffie and is quite good). This wouldn't be so bad except that you also get to unlock additional heroes like Green Arrow and Aquaman, and can use them in select missions. The problem comes in that if you choose to use the bonus heroes and neglect to level-up the original 7, you'll find yourself screwed later on when you're forced to play as Flash and Martian Manhunter again. It's a glaring flaw and takes away from the fun of unlocking and using more DC characters. Otherwise there's the usual AI issues, such as having your partner blunder into a fight and die rather than retreat when their health is low. And the gameplay itself can get a bit repetitive, but that's par for the genre.
If you can overlook the imbalances, this is still a really fun game for fans of DC's heroes. The writing is sharp and the characters look and act exactly like you'd want them to. Definitely worth a try, especially now that the price has dropped.』
(DC's Ultimate Alliance) 『Ever since the big switch to next gen games gem's like this game are being found in the used bin more and more, I've been buying a lot of games for my last-gen systems ever since all the games that used to retail for $40-$50 have dropped dramatically. I purchased this game for $7.99 which in my humble opinion was a steal it was used and had no packaging but it's not like you actually use any of those things anyways (it did come with a blank case, of course) and for the drastic price reduction it was worth forgoing the instructions.
This is actually one of the better looking games I've played on X Box and it's also a very nice sounding game as well. A point of interest is that Michael Jai White who played Spawn in the Spawn movie plays the John Stewart Green Lantern and Ron Perlman who plays Hellboy provides the voice for Batman, I had no prior knowledge to this until I started playing the game and it was just added coolness. The game has really immersive sound on *certain levels*, that my 5.1 sound system really brought out. The chirping birds in the Gorilla City level wrap the whole room and will even play tricks on you in that you'll be looking out your window wondering where the birds are in December. I've noticed a few glitches in the sound most namely the character voices will say things quite late and if the two characters are having dialogue during game play one will say something and about two minutes later the other will respond. However this may be due to my X Box being nearly 5 years old and starting to break down. I've not tried this game on anyone elses console.
The combat is pretty simple, maybe even a little *TOO simple. You have three or four basic combos that all characters perform the same way but with different animations. But really, no one would be playing a JL game to run around punching people anyways, it's the superpowers that are important and this game delivers on that end. All of your starting characters have five different attacks which can be augmented by and interesting alchemy of boosts, Batman's batarangs for instance. He starts out throwing one that does very minimal damage but as your experience grows and the levels increase he ends up throwing six that do massive damage and usually stun or in the case of robots maim their target. Add to this certain boosts that increase damage, range, chance of stunning or duration of stun this becomes on of the favorite attacks when using Batman. Supermans heat vision is devastating just as it should be. Superman also has a wonderful attack called the Superpunch which I now call the "retcon punch" most comic geeks will know what that's a reference to and when said geeks play the game they'll know why I call it that, just apply five level seven damage boosts and you'll kill anything and everything in your immediate vicinity. Zatanna is one of my favorites as she has an attack that will turn every nearby enemy into lovable cut little bunnies, which you then proceed to pulverize. This of course doesn't work on bosses but could you imagine Doomsday turned into a cut rabbit and getting stomped by Aquaman? In that respect I suppose some gameplay limitations are necessary.
Ok, the leveling up system is nothing we haven't seen in the X Men Legends or Ultimate Alliance games however this is a much simplified system. Leveling up translates to more HP, more EP, and usually a new skill point added to one of your powers. The problem with the leveling of characters is that most levels do not allow you to chose which characters you include in your roster as they're presets and integral to the story of the game that those characters be performing that particular mission. This makes for lopsided leveling where in one play through my Superman was at level 19 my flash was only a level 15. Which made progression and replay on harder skill levels very difficult as some characters will be ready to roll in the higher difficulty setting where others will just get their you-know-whats handed to them and you'll have to play over again in a difficulty over and over again just to get some of the less used characters to the right level to play on the next rung. This is something that bothers me about this game, they could have at least included a more M:UA styled set up for replaying the game which would have helped the level of enjoyment considerably. That's what made M:UA so fun was that you could play through over and over again with different characters and build their stats along the way. And while I'm on the subject of cons to the game I need to mention a FATAL flaw in this game and the reason I gave it three stars, overall. Your characters max out at level 20 and they grow no more after that. This is pretty ridiculous to me since one play through will get Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman almost to level 20. Where the real problem lies is that "Superhero Difficulty" mode is ridiculously hard even if all of your characters are leveled up to 20 and have max boosts in all of their power slots. I've suped up my characters in every way I can possibly think of and I can still barely make it to J'onn and Zatanna's boss.
The unlockables are pretty cool, I think. You can get Superman in the black recovery suit with the SUPER MULLET he was sporting at the same time, there's also the Earth-2 (Golden Age) Superman which is just the exact same skin you start out with, with added gray sideburns. The coolest bit is the "Kandor" costume which I think is just rad. It also changes some of Supermans movements example: instead of putting his hands on his hips and sticking his chest out to block now he holds his arms out in a "na-naaa I'm invincible and you can't hurt me" fashion. All the starting characters have at least two alternate costumes and the highlights are Batman in Golden Age (blue and gray with yellow ellipsed bat symbol) and pretty cool version of the Batman Beyond costume only with a full cape. Which is something I thought Batman Beyond was always missing. Flash, Golden Age (with that silly silver helmet) and another costume that I've never seen and it simply titled "Modern". Wonder Woman as a ridiculously sexy biker chick and John Stewart in a goofy looking classic GL costume (complete with afro!).
The unlockable characters, although you won't be using them much are a pretty nice addition to an already awesome line up, including, The Huntress, Aquaman (I've never used this character once), Hawkgirl who, even at the early levels of her character, does impressive damage with her mace attack. The Green Arrow who just makes this game awesome all by himself, this guy has nothing but ranged attacks involving arrows. I played him on every level possible in "Elite" difficulty and still managed to outlive my more developed character. And there's also two more Green Lanterns, Hal Jordan and Kyle Rayner. The two extra GL's have all the same attacks and moves and are just rendered slightly different, a decent touch considering all these characters are, are different skins and voice packs. The even have the same dialogue as the John Stewart character. I would have figured since they were bringing in different voice actors they would change the lines a bit so that if you decide to make a team comprised of two Lanterns they would literally repeat the same thing at each other in different voices, but hey, at least the developers gave you the chance to team two GL's at the same time. On a side note, Black Canary and Supergirl DO NOT appear in the X Box version of this game so don't kill yourself trying to get through "Superhero" difficulty and throw your X Box out the window with rage when you get no reward. Black Canary and Supergirl are unlockable characters on the PSP and DS. Cheat code sites lie...
All in all this is a great game and easily the best game you could get to play as Superman. And just about the only game where you're gonna get to play as the rest of the League, Batman excluded. There are some pet peeves I have like the max character level of 20 and the fact that WW was three lasso based power attacks at least one of which is completely useless, but the the pros far outweigh the cons, who wouldn't want to play as GL and smash 8 foot robots with a giant green hammer? Oddly though, this game really was lacking in the villain department. I would have at least expected the Joker or Solomon Grundy to pop up at some point. Really you're mostly dealing with Superman's villains sans Lex Luthor, he's not even mentioned! The levels are beautiful things to look at, not the funky looking cardboard play house walls that you'll see in X-Men Legends or Ultimate Alliance.
So if you're looking to be entertained, are a Superman fan whose been let down by the video game industry at every turn or are just a JL fan this game is a must. I've played through many times and I think this game has a very high replay value and is only stifled by the inability to pick your characters most levels. (Great.) 『Max Payne is a phenomenal game. I got this back in 2004 when I got my XBOX and it is truly one of the best XBOX games of all time. The series was multiplatform as it was on the ps2 but was far superior on the XBOX. Controls and graphics were a lot better on the XBOX version. Gameplay ? Thats what this game is about intense fun and never a dull moment. This is the type of game when you pick it up you do not stop playing until you beat it and thats no joke.
Sound is good enough. The story is great and thats coming from someone that is turned off by video game stories. Every approach to this game is great. From the graphics to the characters there is not much here to gripe about.
If you are going to get Max Payne 3 when it comes out do yourself a favor and go back and pick this up. You will not regret it.』

Maybe this explains why Max's face is forever twisted in constipation. Max Payne is a straight up third person shooter that controls like a FPS. There are no puzzles, just the occasional key you need to open the occasional locked door. The point is to go from room to room blasting fools. The one gimmick to this game is the "bullet time". At the hit of a button the action slows down which 'The Matrix' ripped off (Max Payne was already in development when the movie came out), giving you an aiming advantage. It works pretty well, you can take a bullet time dive and shoot like 3 guys in a room before you hit the ground. Playing the game buzzed makes this even more exciting.
The story is pretty lame and completely optional when it comes to enjoying this game. The only reason to sit through the cut scenes is to experience the great writing. Max Payne talks all poetic, "There was a chilling wind and the night was laden with foreboding" which probably sounds stupid read here but in the cutscenes it's pretty funny in a cheesy wannabe epic kind of way. It's dope not because it's `great writing' literally, but because it's purposely overdramatized. A good example is the moment Max has a dream that he's in a videogame, that everything that's happening is fake.
So what you're left with is an entertaining action game, with John Woo style shootouts. The graphics still look solid, the only obvious knock I can think of is that there's a couple of "bloodline" levels that are bound to tick you off. It's a dream sequence Max has, where he's in total darkness with nothing around him. All he has to stand on is a red line, supposedly a blood trail. This trail forks into different paths and you must jump from line to line trying to find your way out while hearing an annoyingly looped baby-cry. You will fall. You will start over. You will be pissed.
But aside from that, Max Payne is definitely worth whatever few bucks you can score a used copy for. I can't stress this enough: the shotgun blasts sound really nice and you'll have a good time with Max Payne and a 6 pack.

It may be a third-person shooter, but that doesn't mean it isn't as cool as any other shooter. WHAT THE GAME IS: You are Max Payne; a cop whose life has gone down the crapper because of the murders of his wife and baby, and now he's being accused of murder of a cop. So you must take out mafia and gang groups with a large arsenal weapons and descend into the New York underworld of crime, while solving clues and avoiding capture. GRAPHICS: Time has not been kind to this game, it was released 6-7 years ago and the graphics don't look good, but rather blocky. SOUND: Shooting, explosions, dying screams of enemies, and fairly good voice-acting. MUSIC: The music is barely present, but luckily you'll hardly ever notice this blemish because of how much adrenaline will be in your system when playing this game. GAMEPLAY: Character movement could use a little work, but the gun controls work great. Platforming is a little sticky. The gameplay is fast and feels like its on crack especially during the huge gun battles of dozens of enemies or more. This game is absolutely wonderful, though some low points are some sticky movements and the dream sequences Max Payne has are kinda difficult because they require you to go through maze-like environments. OVERALL: This game could easily be enjoyed by any fan of action titles because of the great gameplay, interesting story, comic book-style cutscenes, a great selection of weapons (molotov cocktails anyone?), and the awesome slow-motion feature which would later be used in games like F.E.A.R. THE GOOD: Fast bullet-spraying gameplay, interesting story, cool weapons, and the innovative slow-motion feature. THE BAD: Some sticky controls and platforming sequences, and ugly graphics. Though most of these problems are easily ignored.』

And speaking of aesthetics, the game is packed with exciting moments, weapons, and locations, even if the enemies get a little redundant after a while. The level design ranges from inspired (a multilevel parking garage) to humdrum (a warehouse) and several levels actually take place in the twisted wonderland of the hero's warped psyche. The introduction scenes consist of painted photos presented in graphic-novel style, which is a stylistic choice that pays dividends, even though the writing is hilariously bad and the voice acting is, if possible, even worse.

(An Amazing Fighting Game) 『The Dead or Alive series has been my favorite fighting game for over a decade. This game is a compilation of previous games from the Dead or Alive Series. What I feel makes this series unique is that it, in my opinion, tends to be less "cheap" than many other fighting games. Yes, some characters do have special, sometimes annoying, moves. Characters do not shoot lightning or throw fireballs which I appreciate as I feel it makes the game less cheap as it is focused on fighting moves and not magicians tricks. Something in this game that sets it apart from other fighting games is the fact that characters can do reversals, or counter attacks, which are a much better technique than the typical blocking. When timed correctly, you can reverse another characters punch, kick, etc. aimed at you and harm them instead. I like the variety of characters and how the different fighting styles that they each possess. If you are a Dead or Alive fan I definitely recommend the purchase of this game. However, if you are new to the series and own I 360, I would recommend the purchase of Dead or Alive 4 over this game as it is a newer edition and has better graphics.』

(Forza Motorsport vs. Project Gotham Racing 2) 『I bought this game because it was supposed to be better than Forza Motorsport, which I already played and liked, and I only had an xbox. I would have bought Forza Motorsport 2 if it were on xbox. The game has a pretty good array of cars but the game is more to complete challenges than to race. For example, the challenges that you have to complete are street race, one on one, cone challenge, hot lap,overtake, and speed camera. The races are only 5-10 minutes long if that. The goal is to get points doing different stunts like sliding. The courses are all in cities and you can't go off the road. The damage you take throughout the race does not effect your driving it only effects how many points you get. In conclusion I would rather have Forza than PGR 2.』
