Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (the best dvd player) 『this is one of the best items I ever brought from amazon. It arrived in good time and the product was bandnew. I recomend this product to all xbox game system owners.』
(Excellent Remote) 『Although you cannot turn the xbox off, which is the only con, it is otherwise very useful and just amazing. A MUST BUY!』
(XBOX remote) 『Product is very easy to use, just plug the reciever into the machine instead of a game controller and the remote operates the machine as any other dvd player would. I recommend plugging the reciever into one you don't normally use, that way you wont take it out regularly and get it lost.』
(GO AMAZON!) 『Dude i am happy with the movie playback kit, i will keep buying stuff trough this site』
(Doubles your xbox as a DVD Player, but lots of cons) 『PROS - works fine. No IR connection problems. - great for people that don't already have a DVD player. CONS - doesn't play DVDs in progressive scan. Why not? They can make games in 480p (old HD) for the xbox. - takes up a controller port slot. Not a big deal, but if you often have 4 friends playing, you won't be able to leave it in all the time. - no backlit or glow - no eject button - no power button. What? Never seen a remote without a power button. Thus you CANNOT turn your xbox on/off with this remote. - cannot learn - not universal. If you have lots of remotes, you're better off learning this one into a universal remote. - many people already own a DVD player, many with progressive scan. 』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (pretty much the same as GR2) 『Summit Strike is to Ghost Recon 2 as Island Thumder is to Ghost Recon 1. There all about the same...The main thing I like about the Ghost Recon games are the "save anywhere" ability (and it saves instantly). The pacing moved up a bit from the GR1 games to GR2 games and up again in GRAW...』
(GR2 Freak) 『I have been playing Ghost Recon since the 1st one came out, they have gotten better every time, up until the Advanced warfighter game for the original Xbox. Summit Strike is awesome, it's the best game that there is for Xbox, if you like first shooter military style games』
(Good Sequel) 『I have played Ghost Recon since the beginning and they keep getting better&better. As far as new features, this game doesn't have a whole lot, but the gameplay is the same great shooter as the previous games. This game is quite a bit harder than the previous Ghost Recon 2, but with strategy it is beat-able. A must have for the Ghost Recon fan.』
(EXCELLENT GAME) 『Ok, first off let me get one thing straight: I am not a kid. I am 15 years old. Ok, this game is one of my all time favorite games. It has outstanding graphics, music, and gameplay. The single player campaign is fun and challenging, and allows you to go back and play a level that you have already beaten a second time on a different mode besides Campaign. The game features OVER 60 different weapons (such as the SCAR-L carbine, SCAR-H rifle, AK-47 assault rifle, MSG-90 sniper rifle, M-16, etc). The gameplay is really realistic in it's "one shot kill". This means that you are capable of taking out an opponent with a single shot to the head. However, this works both ways, meaning that if your opponent is able to get a head shot on you, you are dead regardless of how much health you have left over. I found this made the game very fun, and required you to use your mind just as much as your gun. However, more straightfoward gamers may find themselves frustrated with this aspect of the game, especially Halo or Battlefront gamers who love dual wielding SMGs. The game requires just as much stealth as it does any other aspect. The Multiplayer is fun, especially on Cooperative, which is EXTREMELY hard. The fun thing on co-op is that it allows four players to work as a team to complete campaign missions. The Versus isn't that great if you have less than four people, because of the massive size of most of the maps (you spend most of your time looking for each other on the map), though on Xbox Live with 16 players i'm sure it is quite fun.
The game is in Third and (optionally) First Person (except on multiplayer, where it is always on First Person). One fun thing is the realism of how the weapons work. In GR2:SS, most of the weapons have various different modes of fire (single, burst, and auto, although burst is rare on most weapons), which allows the player to be able to shoot accurately on single shot or to lay down a hail of bullet on auto (it should be noted that full automatic fire drains you magazine in a matter of seconds).
I found GR2:SS to be an extremely fun and very challenging game, but I would not reccommend it to people who prefer a more Halo, Doom, or Grand Theft Auto style of play.』
(It's no Island Thunder) 『Again, just like GR2, this game did not thrill me. I must admit that it was better than the plain old GR2, but it still (in my opinion) wasn't the best. It didn't give me that great "ghost recon" type of feel that I was really looking forward to. I played Ghost Recon and Island Thunder so much and I guess I was just let down with this game. I mostly played the multiplayer portion and got bored very quickly with the single player game.
Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike is a military based First Person shooter available for the Xbox. Although Ghost Recon games have been solely First Person view in the past, this game also has an over the shoulder (3rd person) view available. This is the first thing that really discouraged me about the game. I for one love the first person view and when playing over xbox live, the OTS view gives opponents a very big advantage over someone like myself who plays using the FP view. In my opinion, there should have only been one view available so that this advantage never came into play. The graphics in the game are very good for their time. They were like a polished version of what GR2 had to offer, so nothing that new in this department.
The single player game, to me, felt very slow and boring. I know it is a tactical shooter, but it still felt overly slow. The game also felt repetitive to me, but this was mostly due to the gameplay. I would not suggest this game to anyone looking for a fun single player experience. The multiplayer game, on the other hand, is in my opinion the only reason to purchase this game. It was an "ok" experience to me, only because I found it far different from Ghost Recon Island Thunder - the ghost recon I was used to playing. For most people, however, the multiplayer experience was a lot of fun. There are about 20 or so maps available and 24 (I think) gametypes to choose from.』 『Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike is a fantastic new peek into the world of the Ghosts, offering new levels and new gameplay for fans of military and shooter action. Travel to Kazakhstan, a Central Asian republic on the brink of chaos. When the Kazakh President is murdered by a Pakistani warlord trying to conquer the country, the Ghosts team up with UN forces and head in for the hunt.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Way Better Than Halo!) 『This is the best FPS Shooter I have played. Although it took a while to get used to the controls, eventually I was able to figure everything out. Before Sniper Elite, I only played Halo a lot. Sniper Elite is an excellent game. The game requires a lot of stalking, and observing before taking any shots. Ammo is sometimes sparse so the motto in this game is one shot, one kill. I love the way the game designers put in the slow motion bullet point of view camera angles whenever a spectacular kill shot is achieved. This game is NOT for kids. The kill shots have blood, bone, and brain material. I think I even saw teeth once.
The story line is excellent! You are an American Spy inserted into war torn Germany at the end of World War 2. The game has a very Saving Private Ryan/Enemy At The Gates feeling to it. The soundtrack is excellent, not annoying. The Russian troops are everywhere, so are Germans. Sometimes you work with the Germans, but sometimes you try to evade both German and Russian troops alike. Your mission to stop the Russians from acquiring atomic bomb making information.
Along the way, you acquire 3 different sniper rifles, German MP40's, MG42's, grenades, bazookas for tanks, trip wire grenades, and other weapons. I like using the tripwires. I found it useful to plant these at the entrance of a buildings where I may be sniping from. When they detonate, it is a signal that enemy troops are coming towards my position. Taking higher ground is very effective when taking out targets. You can see through building peepholes and snipe unsuspecting enemies down the street sometimes to distances of 300 meters or greater. You also have an awesome silenced P38 pistol which you use on some missions to avoid detection.
You may also play in co-op mode with a buddy for twice the fun. This game is such a gem. You also have binoculars that you will find very useful in finding targets, spotting enemy troops guarding buildings, or even locating other snipers. Be on the lookout! The harder the play level, the more cunning the enemy snipers are. This game is a must for any gamer that is into WW2, or any FPS fan. The game is a keeper. I would not sell it back or trade it.
』
(cool game) 『This game is a very fun game to play. There are a few things that I would change if it was up to me. Those things would be update the graphics and the area available to go for a snipe you would find high points and there are alot of dead ends. But the overall experience in the game is well put together. I wish there were more games with this type of play. Great work. Be looking for the next one.』
(Gotta love this game!) 『My dad and brother got me hooked on this game one day when I went over to their house. I ended up buying it and have been addicted ever since. It gets frustrating sometimes, especially during the cathedral level (as some have already mentioned) but the realism is outstanding. It makes you plan and think in order to survive. It's a little bit funny when your character is crawling around and 4 different weapons are strung across his back. I still think the level of detail is outstanding, especially when you're peering through your binocs.
The only downfall that I found was the fact that Namco/Rebellion didn't include System Link play in the software. This game is one of the best, if not the best, sniper games I have played, and it would have been even better if you didn't have to pay and sign up for Xbox live to play against someone on 2 different screens. It was funny that they still printed the availability of an option for System Link play in the game manual. All in all, I can see why this game still has such a high resell value, despite being released a few years ago. I would still buy it if they made a remake or a sequel for the 360. This game (along with Splinter Cell- Chaos Theory) are the reasons I still have my old Xbox!』
(Sniper Elite not backwards compatible) 『I bought sniper elite off amazon and the games looks like it could be a blast, but not on xbox 360. The game is 100% NOT backwards compatible and will not play on the xbox 360.』
(The Perfect Sniper Game) 『This is a superb game, I have played the PC version through once and I really enjoyed the game. I am currently playing through the game again just because it is that enjoyable. It is not a true first person shooter, while moving you are in third person view, which is really a good thing because it gives you the ability to peak around corners without revealing yourself. This however isn't a big advantage because the enemy snipers will use a mirror to look around the corner to find you. This is the most incredible game dynamic I have ever run across and was shocked when I saw a guy do it. This game is as near perfect, for a sniper based game as I have ever seen. This puts other sniper games to shame, with ease.』 『The time is Spring of 1945. The second World War is drawing to a close and the Russians and Germans are locked in furious conflict for war-torn Berlin. There are reports that the Russian secret service (NKVD) are in Berlin to steal atomic bomb technology from the German Army. Control the fate of an American soldier, use your OSS sniper training. I purchased this for my young teen and it wasn't until viewing several disturbing and graphic scenes of violence and hearing some very inappropriate language that I peeled off the sticker covering the rating on the box and found an "M" instead of "T!" So parents beware: This might be a great game and lots of fun for older players, but it is NOT for young / teenage audiences!!!』
(One of the great games available on XBOX) 『Recently I've been going back through and playing some of the games I've never finished in my library (such as this title). And realizing I've never given a review on some... So here goes...
This is a great game, EGM said it "could be your second halo" but I believe this is what halo was meant to be. It's a fast paced first person shooter, but with more 'meat' to it than halo. The visuals are what you would expect from all the original Xbox hype. They are sharp and clean. With an HDTV (which I didn't have when I played it before) you can really see how sharp the graphics are. It's a harder game than halo, and even halo 2, so it provides plenty of challenge for the hardcore and casual gamer alike. This one is online enabled, but like many gamers, I've never bothered with paying MS to use their service, so I have no idea how the multi-player is. But the single player game is definitely worth the money.』
(Fun!!) 『this game is rly fun and it has a few humorous parts... for example, if u scan the people in the first area with the shooting range with your scanner... they have some unusual items... but w/e.
This game is addicting. It has a great multiplayer mode, unfortunalty no co-op, but that can't be helped.
You wont be finishing this game in under 2 days straight, unlike some people did with Halo, because let me tell you, this game is LONG.
And another thing, this game is VERY hard, but the joy of finally blowing that one annoying alien's head off is the fun part.
The graphics in this game are pretty good, but its not exactly halo 2.
One last thing....
I hope you like puzzles, because there are at least 2 or 3 hard ones. Well, not really. There arent any puzzles actually. Except maybe trying to figure out how to get to the roof of some control booth.
One more last thing....
The scanner is pretty cool. You can scan a lot of things. Allies, bonus things, secret documents, dead bodies, you can get an air sample, and yes, you can even scan the living breathing aliens trying to gouge your eyes out!!
Well, i hope u buy this cuz it PWNS U ALL!』
(XBox's Failure for multiple players) 『It's a great game....If you want to play alone.Ever since Microsoft Xbox has been pushing their "Online Cyber Friend Players" You find more and more that you cant play at home With your REAL FREINDS, using split screen or otherwise. This is microsofts biggest folly. I want to play with my friends in the room...not some"unknown" a thousand miles away. Take a hint microsoft.............We're not nearly as dumb as you think we are.READY TO PITCH XBOX FOR A PLAYSTATION!』
(Not Great) 『I am a big fan of video games. I own over forty XBox games, most of which are the First Person Shooter type. This game is very good, but you had better take the time to study the book and have the time to play the game, it is not easy by any stretch. I know everyone reading this is saying " Well, do you really want a game to be easy enough to beat the first day?". Of course not, but a game should be easy/hard enough to be enjoyable and not nearly impossible』 『Area 51 is a great aracde shooter that's bringing its action and challenge home to you. You'll lead a special unit into the famous Area 51 and discover just what's really lurking in that mytserious, classified desert base. An infectious mutagen has given players alien-enhanced physical abilities but is slowly transforming them into an alien. They must find the cure before it's too late and their humanity is lost. Face off against a horde of horrific creatures - and secure Area 51!』 『After the smash success of the arcade version of Area-51, Midway Entertainment has answered the calls for a console version of the game. With a cool, sci-fi storyline that includes terrifying aliens and mutants, and the sickest arsenal of human and alien weaponry imaginable, Area-51 is a gory, first-person shooter loaded with action.
Area-51, also known as Groom Lake, is a secret military facility about 90 miles north of Las Vegas. The name refers to a large, six-by-ten mile block of land that contains a covert, U.S.-military air base. The government refuses to comment on the nature of this air base, and since the 1950s, Area-51 has been a hotbed of UFO conspiracies and rumors of governmental cover-up. Now, because of a catastrophic viral outbreak, all the secrets are about to be blown wide open and only you -- Ethan Cole, HAZMAT Specialist -- can control the chaos, contain the outbreak, and save planet earth.
The research facility at Area-51 has been shut down because of a viral outbreak. The distress signal received by the U.S. Army has activated the automatic quarantine procedures, locking all scientific and military personnel inside. It will be your mission to dive into five massive levels within the secret confines of the mysterious Area-51 to try to keep the virus contained.
Stacked with an arsenal of human and alien weapons, you will battle scientists and military personnel who have been infected by the outbreak, as well as an ancient colony of aliens buried deep beneath the facility. Along the way, you will also unearth chilling conspiracies, such as the infamous extraterrestrial crash at Roswell and the faked lunar landing.
Once you've mastered the weaponry and completed your mission, you can take your skills to the global level and compete with others HAZMAT Specialists on Xbox Live. With cool guns, fast-paced action, and fun gameplay modes, Area-51 delivers awesome single-player and multi-player action.』

(Spider-Man 2 for kidz!) 『Seeing the screenshots, videos, and general art direction of this game got me quite excited. What I was expecting was an update to Spider-Man 2 with cel shaded graphics and new moves/secrets/characters/etc.
What it boils down to is a very short and repetitive experience with little to no replay value unless you like looking for little tokens in a huge, ugly city. If you're expecting the fine tuned controls and moves from Spider-Man 2, you'll be disappointed. You can do anything from the very start of the game, and it's very little.
I wouldn't even recommend this as a time waster, it's just an excuse for Activision to rake in some cash.』
(Great game!) 『I got this game as a gift for my nephew who is a big gamer and he loves it. Says it is full of action and strategy.』
(swinging) 『It is a super fun game especially swinging around! There is this super high building it kinda looks like a fork you climb to the very top and run off don't jump, run then you will skydive and at the last second you jump or use your web so I reckon it's super fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!』

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Fun game) 『This is a fun game when you need to take a break from first person shooters or stupid Mario type coin collecting games. I love the sound track also.』
(Best Surfing Game) 『This is the best surfing game ever. Which, we all have to admit, is not the greatest accomplishment and and of itself. It is, however, still a fun game. There are around a dozen real-world waves, each modeled to look like the real thing. There are scores of moves for each surfer, and a fair amount of unlockables - outfits, boards, beaches.
This is not a simulator (go do the real thing if you want to be a "surfer"). As previous reviews have stated, think Tony Hawk on the water. The waves last forever, but there are a few closeout sections that need to be navigated.
Graphics have held up pretty well since there are essentially only two objects - the surfer and the wave. Sound effects are typical for this genre: generic splashes during moves and screams of terror upon a wipeout . Music is great and I never got tired of it. Ranges from trance to reggae to rock. All very appropriate.
Very worth looking into especially given the prices of used xbox games.』
(It's Tony Hawk only surfing.) 『I like surfing better than skating and this delivers. The graphics and controls are pretty sweet and there are tons of unlockables. If you like surfing this game is awesome.』
(Good Game) 『I never thought I would buy a surfing game -- being from New York city with no access to a surfboard let alone a wave. But I thought I would give this a try and I'm glad I did. There's enough complexity that it's got staying power, while being a relaxing game to play at the same time. The graphics are great and the controlls are well designed. If you're interested in playing something that doesn't involve killing, and has a sort of zen - you and the wave kinda vibe, then get this.』
(Hands Down the BEST surfing game ever) 『I have been surfing over 15 years and have played just about every surfing game made. This one is BY FAR the best surfing game ever made. I got Transworld Surf and returned it the same day... pretty graphics... [BAD] surfing mechanics.
I went to my surf buddy's house and played Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer and it rocked! It really FEELS like you are surfing, and the waves are spectacular. Someone mentioned having to save dolphins and wait to get money? That is the wrong game. This is all about surfing... surfing... surfing. You can do all the classic surfing moves and more. I was finally glad to have a game where you can do a decent off the lip / snap.
If you're into surfing, this is THE title to pick up. Rent it... if you like it... buy it... and maybe they'll put out some more.』

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition...remix version (XBOX)) 『fun game...fast and furious with lots to do and tons of options. wish it was compatable on the xbox 360. maybe someday?』
(THIS IS A GREAT GAME!!!!!!!!!!!) 『 This game is great!!!!!!!!!!! If you are looking for a street racing game that is online for the xbox this game might be the one for you! I thought only a few people play it but a lot of peole really do play it just look at the stats. Overall this game is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!』
(Fast-paced racing and in-depth customization) 『I won't lie to you, the main reason I like Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition and its Remixed counterpart is the fact that you can heavily customize your car. Being able to take a '69 Camaro from stock to street rod, putting 21" chrome rims on a Mercedes CLK 55 AMG, and turning a Volkswagen Phaeton into an import racer is something that I could not only not afford in real life, but something that brings me great joy and satisfaction. On the other hand, the racing is sufficiently entertaining. Blasting through the city streets at night, weaving in and out of traffic, and making your opponents smash into gas stations (and subsequently blowing up) is quite enjoyable. However, I will say that this game can be very frustrating. Many a time I have lost a race by mere miliseconds because of oversteering, loss of traction, and occasionally polygon overlap in tight turns. Not to mention that the "Remix" edition adds a certain series of races in Tokyo, in which you drive on the opposite side of the road, creating a whole new level of frustration. If I were to rate this as a customization game, I would give it 5 out of 5 stars in both categories. Because it includes a sometimes frustratingly-difficult racing counterpart, I can only rate it at 4 stars in both fun and overall rating. Despite its shortcomings, I recommend it to anyone who has always wanted to know what it's like to customize some of the fastest and most expensive cars in the world.』
(Great graphics, gameplay, and value. Poor story.) 『This a very fun arcade racer with many unlockables. You can do different types of races and there is a cruise mode where you can drive around wherever you please. You can customize you vehicle(s) many ways.』
(Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix = Gold) 『Whether you are a newcomer to the series or have played all 3 so far, this one is by the far the best. The game starts you off with a limited selection of cars and about 25 grand to spend. You win a few races and begin to move up in the underground racing world. The more you progress, you unlock cars, upgrades, and special moves. The customization in this game is fairly detailed and gives you plenty of options. Each city that you drive in is vast and lets you explore a lot of places, and of course the soundtrack is nothing short of spectacular. Ranging from Marilyn Manson to Bloc Party to more obscure bands like Hundred Reasons, the music is flat out great for racing. My point is that if you enjoy racing games with a huge thrill factor and love to kick it into high gear(no pun intended), then I highly recommend Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix.』 『Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition Remix is the very newest way to get more racing action, in the original street racing hit. The original 3 cities are here, with one new challenge -- Race in Atlanta, Detroit, San Diego and nowTokyo.Unleash the garages of new vehicles included here all across Japan's capital, from Shibuya to Kabuki-Cho. And what new vehicles they are! Race in all-new models from Lamborghini, Cadillac, Dodge, Infiniti, Pagani and more. There's also new online features - more challenging maps for Tag, Paint, Ordered Race and Capture The Flag modes. There's even an expanded soundtrack, with 25 new, handpicked anthems. It's also got the very latest in aftermarket parts and full compatibility with previous game saves from the original Dub Edition.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Midtown madness 3) 『My daughter got this for her 12th birthday and loved it. She likes the game that you can just drive around and pretend you're cruising the city. She pretends she's out on a driving lesson, and hits all the other cars, and people on the sidewalks. You can set it up to have heavy, or light traffic, and whether, or not you want police patroling around. Lots of different games to play on this. Perfect for kids who love to out run the law!』
(NOT PLAYABLE ON XBOX 360) 『I love MTM3, but once I got my XBOX 360 and found it is not compatible and XBOX refuses to respond to my inquiries, I have decided to get rid of everything. EA Games should put pressure on Microsoft to get their act together. Until I can play some type of Midtown Madness on my 360, I will never buy another XBOX GAME, Accessory, or game from anyone.』
(Great Game!) 『WOW! this game is really fun, theres alot of missions and i like to do cruise where you can just go around the city, but what really makes this game worthwhile is xbox live, its very fun especially hunter, where a player is a cop and if he tags someone they become a cop until the last person is left (he also has to get caught to end the game) and if someones cussing you can mute them or if your host you can boost them :) a very fun game i recommend it to anyone with xbox live』
(Awesome! More fun than Crazy Taxi!!!) 『This game is an awesome bundle of fun! Much more fun than Crazy Taxi, by the way. I love how they chose unusual cities to drive in. Paris and Washington, DC, I believe. Now that's unique. I'm sick of San Francisco, and New York, and LA.
I would recommend this game to any X box gamer!

Finally had an opportunity to purchase an xbox and well this game is darn cheap at costco so what the heck. The game hasn't changed too much from the first version. Now teams are available which is a nice toucha nd the cars and track list is increased. The same gripe I had about the first game still applies though. When you purchase an upgrade the computer automatically gets it. If you are winning races and thus earning money, shouldn't the computer have to do the same? Essentially, the rule of thumb is only mod your truck to things you need to be a bit more competative, but not to make a monster truck. Once you have everything you'd want in a truck, the computer is sure to beat you. Where this game really shines is in two player mode. Computer can't cheat this way, and its just you and a buddy beating up a couple of trucks. Lets face it, its pretty fun to beat up your own SUV and not have to worry about repair bills. The fully open courses also make the game very fun. In free drive mode, you can practice the courses, and plan for the short cuts which are mandatory if you want to win some races. Definitely worth the price I bought it for...』
(cars or trucks?) 『4x4eveo2 is ok if you like trucks and racing. You can coustomize your car. The tracks are fun with shortcuts everywhere.』
(4X4 EVO 2) 『This game is bye far 1 of the best driving games out there with over 30 diferandt trakes and 40 differant trucks witch u can pute new parts on it and can see the differance. there are also the race tucks u an buy. overal this game is an eazy to understad and use altho i do wish they could have ford in there too.』
(AI opponents are invinsible - even after 100K of mods!) 『O.K. Godgames and Rockstar games did a few things right in this game - but ultimately they failed to produce a playable game. The load times are very lengthy. The menu is needlessly cluttered. In career mode there are 5 AI oppoenent vehicles. It is COMPLETELY impossible to out-accelerate the top car/truck regardless of mods - so the only way to get 1st-place is a lot of luck followed by a straightaway on the last lap - forget skills. For some reason it is TOTALLY impossible to nudge an AI oppoenent out of your way - forget everything you know about physics - going 110 mph and slam into an AI car - you lose he's fine - AI car going 40 and hits you - you are in the ditch my friend. Oh and lets talk about the shoulder of these race tracks! You can and will get STUCK on every little thing. Most games don't make you reverse from behind obstacles - they just penalize your speed - not this game. Trust me - this game deserve awards for its ability to cause needless aggravasion - shame on the Quality Assurance at Godgames and Rockstar games - this would have NEVER gotten by me!』 『Welcome to the dirt-grinding, real-world racing of4x4 Evolution 2. You will explore, rescue, and compete through three new career modes. First pick a base truck in which to compete in a series of off-road races, then win fast cash to deck out your truck with a an inventory of more than 90 real-world parts to increase your power. There are over 32 expansive, outdoor courses set in a variety of locations around the world. Trek into jaw-dropping environments and mission-based adventures, including the search and rescue of a downed plane in the Grand Canyon and the discovery of a lost Mayan city in a Central American jungle.4x4 Evolution 2is easy to learn but hard to master, allowing for satisfying, long-lasting gameplay. The AI engine is diabolical and ruthless, crushing in your passenger door while overtaking you for the lead, and the spoils. There are 70-plus masterfully detailed sport-utility vehicles (SUVs) and four-by-fours. You will be in control of a customized, high-horsepower, multi-thousand-pound beast, with such a realistic physics control system that the terrain is no longer beautiful scenery--it is the enemy.』

(Enh) 『I bought the game and played it once or twice ... I did not enjoy it at all. However, I am also not a first person shooter gamer. I gave this game away since buying it because it was just collecting dust on my shelves.』
(Morpheus was wrong) 『Shiny Games dropped the ball with Enter the Matrix back in 2003. They rushed their product to meet the release date of Matrix Reloaded, and the flaws were evident in a game riddled with bugs and an awful design. Somehow the game still sold millions of copies and drove Shiny to create another Matrix video game. Sadly, Matrix: Path of Neo isn't much better than Enter the Matrix. It isn't as loaded with bugs and glitches, but it's a game that could have been smoothened out with another few months of development.
In Path of Neo, you put your arms through the leather sleeves of Neo's trench coat and take on all of his abilities in the process. The story revolves around him, and throughout the game, it's your goal to learn new abilities and the ways of the Matrix while also doing missions from the movies. In between levels there are Matrix movie clips that help give the levels some sort of meaning, but the clips seem to have been randomized. Any Matrix fan will feel the urge to laugh at such out-of-place movie samples. The cut-scenes themselves are actually better, and are voiced well by sound-alikes of the movie's original cast. That's probably the only positive thing about the story, which I never cared about from the beginning.
The fighting in Path of Neo is difficult to appreciate, despite having a lot of potential. Neo has a lot of moves, and being able to use them all is exciting enough to make every enemy encounter a fresh one. The environments break apart, making some of the fights as epic as they were in the films. The slow-motion "Focus" mode that was made famous by the Matrix films is also a nice perk to the hand-to-hand combat. The only problem is that new moves are constantly being discovered, so for a long time, each battle will be fought with similar moves and combos that become quickly repetitive. The controls don't help much, as they simply dirty up the experience even more. At times, I'd hit more than one button at a time and Neo would just stand around being mauled from all sides by enemies. When the controls are functioning correctly, there is a little too much button-mashing for my taste. There is a single punch button, a grapple button, and a dodge button. I can promise you that you'll wear them out through a lot of time with Path of Neo.
Now, moving away from hand-to-hand combat and into weapon combat, any sort of excitement goes away. Fighting becomes a disgustingly choppy experience. With melee weapons like staves and swords, Neo swings his weapon as roughly as a bumpy gravel road and hitting enemies is difficult when he turns as slowly as he does. Guns themselves just aren't fun to use and feel very weak. The auto-aim system is frustrating and broken. Oftentimes after an enemy goes down, the lock-on cursor will stay on the dead body, making Neo run around staring at a corpse. Of course, while this is going on, the camera is spinning out of control and enemies are left shooting at you. The result is nothing but confusion, cheap deaths, and frustration.
The presentation of Path of Neo is a mixed bag. The graphics are really inconsistent. Sometimes the character models and environments look fantastic. The environments are destructible and the Focus effects always look like a treat. Other times, though, the textures are ugly and broken, graphics blur together, and the animation chugs behind a frame rate that is never consistent in the first place. The music is the typical Matrix fare, and the sound effects don't sound very unique or explosive. Again, the voice acting is probably the best part of the presentation. I must say that the pause screen is really cool, as it turns everything on-screen into the neon-green Matrix coding.
I think Matrix: Path of Neo wasted a lot of potential. It was cool to punch Morpheus through the walls of a dojo in Neo's training. But struggling with the awful controls and trudging through the repetitive, boring levels brings down the experience to a level low enough that I can't recommend buying the game. After every session I had with the game, I felt myself wanting to play the game less and less. I actually think Path of Neo is better than Enter the Matrix, simply because there is potential entertainment to be found here, but I'd recommend a weekend rental at most. Morpheus was wrong, because Neo's not The One.』
(Hahahahahahahah) 『I'll try to explain everything that was wrong with this game. First off, when you are watching in game cinematic's there will be horribly long and akward pauses. At first I wasn't sure if I was supposed to press a button or what, but I soon realized that it was just bad editing. Second, when you are in hand-to-hand combat(meele) mode, and want to switch to running to some door somewhere in the level, Neo will walk with his gaurd up at about half the speed. Third, I could swear that all it ever gave me was the "Y+B"...."B"..."\/ Y" Combo. Fourth, I cannot even begin to critique the camera angles in this game, geesh... Well, I guess if you enjoy fighting giant ants with a torch and hitting the "Y" button about ten-thousand times, this is the game for you. PS: I give the W-Brothers a big "WTF?" for that last level. Ten whole minutes of ACTION PACKED, dodge, hit.... And you can't even pick where you want to hit the Smith'o bot, it's all just one boring movie... Yawn...』
(Finally! The ONE we've been waiting to play!) 『Hey, what can i say? THIS game is much more like what the first game should've been. This game is not linear as other reviewer(s) have suggested. Yes, it follows a VERY familliar story-line for fans of the series. But, this program allows you to act out some of the BEST battles that NEO had to offer within the trilogy. The way they meshed the movie bits with a new perspective was very nice. 600 DIFFERENT ATTACKS! I think that's incredible. Some are so creative you'll find yourself attached to them more than others. But, there are so darn many you may never use all of them! New characters written in by the Wachowski's , come new environments, and the original voice actors. Better graphics than the first, better action. Easier to control characters. The only complaint i have is that your friends AI is not all too smart. Once in a while they'll walk right in front of you while you're shooting and bite the big one. Or, stand too close when you detonate a bomb and (again) bite the big one. Other than that, this was as great as i expected it to be. I'm not even a die hard fan of the movie franchise. I am, however, a fan of this game. A fun program whether you're a hardcore fan or not. But, it does help to know at least a little about the movie first.』 『Atari The Matrix Path of Neo for Xbox Set in the Matrix universe, The Matrix: Path of Neo will enable players to actually play as "Neo," the central character, and relive his most important and memorable scenarios from the complete film trilogy, including the original film, The Matrix. Throughout the game, the path the player takes to resolve each scenario and the resulting consequences will be scripted and directed by the Wachowski Brothers.』
