Two the original King of Fighters was original based on characters from Fatal fury (Guess no one remembers that one). They made so many after the first one. I lost count (witch was base on 3 vs. 3 characters, not like one on one you have today in the KOF games). Second. SNK had allot great fighting games besides King of Fighters. World Heroes 1&2, Fatal fury 1&2. Samurai Showdown 1&2. Now I'm happy to see Samurai Showdown being coming back that was a cool fighting game and the first one was cool. So I'm going buy the part V (where did 3&4 go? anyone know). When it comes out this month. But what makes me sad is snk (neogeo) is own by capcon who wont release games like Worlds Heroes or Ghost Ryder airplane shooter based on ww2. These would be great for xbox and alot of fun. Guess I'm writing cause never like KOF. But must say Street fighter 2 was the best came game that ever came out of capcon. I wish SNK would come out with some old classics like Capcon just did. And if anyone from Capcon reads this you need to come out with a version of Dark Stalkers 1 or 2 for Xbox your Capcon Fighting Evolutions doesn't cut it. The game offers a remarkable assortment of fighters, fighting styles, and variety of play. Forty characters--each with their own special powers, attacks, timing issues, personalities, and sound bites--get magnified three-fold by three separate "-isms" which alter their powers, and three "grooves," which mix them up yet again. There’s a lot to learn and it ensures that playing a foe of equal skill is never dull because you can never be sure what character he’s going to pick and how that character will fight.
The graphics are generally decent, though some of these fighters look like they haven’t been spiffed up for today’s console systems. The older Street Fighter guys look just plain bad next to newly added characters from the SNK stable. But the animation is smooth, the backgrounds have been significantly redone and feature new, often startling animations, and the special effects are just plain awesome. The audio is pretty much the same old themes that Capcom has been using for the better part of a decade now.
All told there’s very little reason for PS2 or GameCube gamers to own this game, other than the SNK characters. The Xbox version is playable over Xbox Live (sold separately), which is a big advantage--everyone knows that these games, born of arcade coin-ops, are meant to be played competitively. The service does nothing to match players of equal skill, but that’s pretty similar to the experience in an arcade. The ability to start up a relatively lag free game at a moment’s notice and trade trash talk with another gamer from around the world is just priceless, and a welcome addition to the series.--Andrew S. The first two titles in the series by EA Games are The Sims and The Sims Bustin' Out, but make way for number three, The Urbz: Sims in the city.
In The Urbz, you guide your Sim through life in nine very diverse culturally different districts, where you have to walk the walk and talk the talk. As in its two predecesors, in The Urbz, you have goals to achieve, bills to pay and promotions to obtain. The differences you'll find in this game are in the jobs you work and clothes you buy, which are district specific, and the other Sims you meet and interact with.
Another difference is that you have to build up your reputation. This is achieved by meeting and befriending as many different Sims as you can and learning their specific social interactions. At the start of the game, you must choose what district to start out in. By completing your goals and building your rep, you unlock other districts to visit and work in.
The main goal is to build yourself up to have the highest rep in the city, so that everyone wants to be your friend. This game is fun and simplistic without being too easy. Plus, after you beat it the first time, you can always go back and play as someone different, giving this game replay potential.
On a scale on 1-10, I give this game an 8.5. Sim-fans should not miss out on The Urbz!』

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (One of the best action games on X-Box peeople have never seen) 『Three decades ago a little movie was made in a cabin about one man's survival against his demonically posessed friends. Then there was a sequil and a third movie where he went back in time. This game branches off in a tangeant between Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness. Half the focus of the movies were horror, the other half was enjoyable comedy that was sometimes cartoonish, and full of one liners from actor Bruce Campbell.
Bruce is back for the roll, but don't worry, you don't need to see any of the movies to know that you are Ash, a man with a chainsaw for a right hand that carries a "boomstick" shotgun to kick some demon tail. The game gives you a quick tutorial on your easy to understand controls. Hold the R trigger to atutomatically lock onto a target enemy, and press the X button to shoot it. Press the B button for the chainsaw. Its really simple. White button to switch guns, black button to switch between arm gadgets (chainsaw, flame thrower, hook shot). A to jump. Its very easy and very enjoyable combat.
The story isn't all that important, but basically a book called the Necromonicon has been stolen by Ash's psychiatric doctor that intends to do evil things with it. He also kidnaps Bruce's beautiful laywer (the princess to rescue). Basically, the plot has been done before, so has the game.
The game itself seems very much like a 3D Castlevania. As Ash, you will break boxes for health (instead of candles), find secret unlockables (like behind the scenes videos), secret health upgrades, get new weapons, new abilities like the ability to go berserk, all while facing undead enemies and posessed people. There is a nice puzzle element to the game too that will have you using your smarts to figure out things.
It has a very nice flow to it and there is a good dynamic with Ash's sidekick Sam that he finds along the way. Sam (voiced by Ted Rami) is an undead little person, and because of this, he dies in several hilarious ways only to respawn. Ash can boot him flying, Ash can posess him for a change of pace and a different dynamic (along with some cool music), but most importantly the two will banter back and forth. This is where the game shines, the comedy both of these two ooze between the two of them and even alone.
Many might critisize the game for using Sam to pad play time of the game. Such as Ash will posess Sam, who will then crawl through an area only he can get to, battle enemies, solve a puzzle, flip a switch, then Ash will have to go into the area to do something else. Ash will then need to defend Sam as they go back to a previous area. Even though there is plenty of that, it never seems tedious or monotonous, because Sam and Ash play completely different.
In all, this is a really enjoyable game! Plenty of secret unlockables, differing gameplay, puzzles, great quirky comedy, and some very fun combat that includes some brutal fatalities. Rent this game, buy this game, you will find something to love about it.』
(GOOD GORY FUN LIKE THE MOVIES 8.5 OUT OF 10) 『I love the Evil Dead movies, and I even like the games, something that can rarely be said about licensed games. This is another one of those licensed games that didn't get as much attention as it truly deserved. WHAT THE GAME IS: The protagonist Ash finds himself in a mental hospital still ranting and raving about the Book of the Dead and the evils within, and once again someone has read from the book and legions of demons/zombies called Deadites have been set free to roam the Earth. So Ash and his half Deadite sidekick Sam must stop this evil force, save the world, and uncover the secrets behind this outbreak in this really gory and really fun game. GRAPHICS: Textures are sloppy but the environments and character and creature designs look good. The gore could have been better, but what's here is pretty good. MUSIC: The music is pretty good, but it could have better. It knows how to set the mood, but it's nothing spectacular. SOUND: Shooting, chainsaws, voice-actors like Bruce Campbell (The protagonist from the movies and games who plays Ash), Sam Raimi's brother Ted Raimi stars in this game as your ally Sam, and the other actors are pretty good. GAMEPLAY: I'll get the bad parts out of the way, this game can get repetitive at times and save points shouldn't be spread out that far. Now the good parts. In this game you only start out with a revolver in the beginning, then you get your trademark shotgun and chainsaw which adds more fun and gore, then eventually you get a device that shoots out a cable that pulls an enemy to you so you can shoot them as they are impaled on the cable. Chopping and shooting the Deadites is good gory fun that's difficult to put down. This game also perhaps contains one of the best allies you'll have in a game, Sam. He maybe annoying as hell sometimes, but he can get killed numerous times and he'll just respawn. You won't fail at all, he just gets killed and comes back in hilarious ways. You can kick him onto an enemy, and he'll pull off their head or keep them distracted while shoot them because some enemies can't get killed without Sam attacking them. You can also possess Sam so he can help you open certain doors and other obstacles. Puzzles are also interesting and can be difficult to solve at times. Boss battles are nothing special though. OVERALL: This game is definitely worth a look, especially if you're a fan of the movies. This is the ultimate Evil Dead game and it plays great. THE GOOD: Funny characters, good graphics, decent music, lots of gore, interesting weapons, unlimited ammo, and an interesting storyline. THE BAD: Gameplay can be a bit repetitive, save points are sometimes too far apart, sometimes characters are annoying. 』

The story is better, Ted Raimi co-stars as Sam, and the problems that Fistful had are fixed in this game. It makes for a great action title, and a real fun treat for fans of the series. Ted and Bruce are great, and the dialogue they exchange is priceless! One of the better things about this game is that Ash actually looks like Bruce Campbell, and he didn't really have that look on the previous game. The extras that are unlockable are also worth seeing, even though you have to find them throughout the game. Overall, this is a game you must play if you are a fan, because it is the best and it gives me hope for the next one.』

(Castlevania: Curse of Darkness(Who needs Belmont?)) 『Castlevania as a whole started with one thing in mind. . . kill the vampire plaquing the land. The same can be said about Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. You play as Hector, a devilforge master. What's a Devil Forge master you ask? A person with the ablity to create monsters/and or weapons. Devil forge masters in this game have the same amount of power as Dracula's right hand man, Death. Huge 3D like invorments(like from LOI), wild monsters, gorgeous graphics, and a suporior sound track help Hector along the way to get revenge for the love of his life Rosaly. As far as story line time, this happens a little after Castlevania 3: Dracula's curse. So in other words, you old school guys(like me) will enjoy seeing what happeded after Castlevania 3. Pick it up today, you will NOT BE SORRY. Oh yea did I mention, that you get to play as Trevor Belmont? Oh I didn't, good luck, and make Dracula pay!!!』

(True To Your Dreams) 『Castlevania Curse of Darkness is a true gem, among xbox games. I think, it was more designed to be a bridge for a game that's coming out in the future, that be two player (Probably xbox360 or Play station 3). So they have get you (the gamers) used to someone other Trevor Belmont. One Dracula Is NOT DEAD. He get's reborn, he needs one of the devil forger masters to get reborn. So its either Hector or Isaac who has to die to bring forth Dracula. So since your Hector and that leaves only Isaac who becomes Dracula. (Dracula is mad at Hector for running off during the big battle, thus blaming him for his down fall to Trevor Belmont.) But here only point in the whole game that gets me Hector is way up in the army of evil and he has a change of heart just because Dracula wants to kill every human who wants them destroyed. That part brothers me but who cares its fun game anyway hacking and slashing all the creatures of the dark. So its like a complexed stories line. But along the way you don't know what's what's. It come to you in the movies and not all what you see is what is. Like in the beginning you meet Zead and Saint Germain. Now Zead wants to help you on your quest and Saint Germain wants to try and stop you. They both hate each other, Zead seems so nice and Germain like a total pain. Why not any help that helps you average the death of your wife to the town people who bur her as a witch sounds good. You have to fight Saint Germain latter, and to tell you the truth he is hard, he pulls out a gun try's to shoot you, when he near death. Latter you find out Zead is Death "the Grimm Reaper"., after you fight Isaac and Zead takes Isaac and turns him into Lord Dracula, for the final fight. When you beat Dracula you seen the ending. Now everyone says this game is to short. When actual its two games you can play as Trevor Belmont and its totally different then playing as Hector, as game play is concern more classical Castlevania from the NES and SNES days. So if you don't like the devils and want a more classical game try beating it once and play as Trevor. But you also find out in the ending from Saint Germain there will be another finial battle (hint another game of Castlevania in the works). So honestly the game play is cool, the battles are fun and if you play long enough you can truly enjoy this game and its plot twists. It took me 30 hours to beat it, with hector and I'm finish play it with Trevor Belmont, but can say its good. I cant campare this to the play station games my last Castlevania was Castlevania X for SNES. It reminds me a lot of that game the stages do, but these are more in detail and more fun 3d. One more then there is a love stories at the end, yes I know not what you where expecting, between Hector and Julia Laforeze. Doesn't it melt your heart. Yes Isaac sister and the hero. How ironic. There hidden stages more bosses after you beat it and its truly a gem among xbox games. Some will be mad cause I wrote this but the cheesy plot line about Dracula being death and fighting for so long to beat this game figure ill just go ahead and tell it. Its great game.』
(One of the best Xbox games) 『As someone who enjoyed previous Castleavania games going back to the early Nintendo systems, I did find this new incarnation to be somewhat different than the 2D games of old. But I still liked it a lot. Basically this game has been my main preoccupation for the last 2 weeks or so. I'd rank it as one of the top 5 Xbox games I've ever played (out of 50 or so) in terms of sheer fun level. Primarily I liked the fact that as you gain new items&skills, you can go back to previously explored areas and new areas will open up. This "expanding universe" aspect makes it similar to the Super Metroid games and a little like some of the Zelda titles for Gamecube. I also found the "Combine" system (of seeking out materials to create new weapons and armor) to be very engrossing, and I liked the various ways to obtain those materials - steal from monsters, seek out hidden rooms, etc.
The graphics and sound FX are well below the "all-time great" level of games like Halo 1 or 2, but they're perfectly servicable, ranging from very good to excellent. I thought the spooky ambiance of the various castle hallways, dungeons, etc., was actually captured rather well.
Although I did completely get into the process of exploring the various worlds of this game (especially with the help of some online FAQ references!), I will concede a few drawbacks. The currency's uses are fairly limited. There's only one shop, and the things you most want or need cannot be bought there. And in the later stages of the game, you accumulate a lot of excess cash that can't be used for anything. Also, the process of levelling-up your character and his "I.D." (innocent devil) companions definitely got rather repetitive and a little boring after awhile. Those are minor drawbacks, however. Overall, this is a great game!』 『Castlevania: Curse of Darkness delivers an entirely new storyline and main character - Hector, a Devil Forgemaster who had once refined his skills under Dracula. (With games like these...) 『Who needs another game! The Grand Theft Auto series has taken to heart one important concept that has been lost by the majority of game designers. Replayability. While most will toss in a few difficulty levels or character classes in the name of replayabillity, they really give you the exact content with minor tweaks. I promise you this game really gives you hours quite literally hours of replayabillity. With San Andreas alone, I played about 100 hours before beating the game and this wasn't with 100% completion.
Not only can your roam around and do things on your terms, but you can find side games, missions and quests. There are races, missions that will reward you with properties or abillities and even some games like pool or arcade games in your first house!
There is almost no end to the amount of things you can do in this game. The great thing is your not required to do any of it and you can pick and choose the ones you find enjoyable and skip those that are not.
A must have for anyone who owns a PS2 or Xbox... You can't go wrong with any of the GTA series and this gives you the last 3!』

(Monster Slam Dunks) 『NBA Jam has been a long running series, dating back to the haydays of the Nintendo system. It is an NBA basketball game with no rules, you can knock other players down, do monster slam dunks! It is very arcade-like and moves at a frantic pace there is nothing real about the gameplay, everything in the game is exaggerated and funny at the same time. This time NBA Jam makes a very cool transition to the XBOX. The graphics are nicely colored and the basketball players although odd and lanky
looking were animated smoothly. It's so much fun to see them make signature slam dunks, but it gets better. When you're player shoots 3 baskets in a row, he will litteraly catch fire and have higher stats making his shots to the basket more accurate. For every cool move you will also earn "Jam Points" and start filling up your "Jam Meter". Once your meter is filled you can activate a "Hot Spot" . and this is the real fun of the game, when you shoot from the hot spot, your player will fly really high into the air, perform a silly move in midair and make a monster slam dunk, which will knock down the other players. It's so cool and funny. The music is good and upbeat, the crowd cheers sound realistic and the commentator is very good, though he will repeat certain things. NBA Jam for the XBOX is the most fun I've had playing an arcadey basketball game. It also features tons of unlockable bonus items, co-op gameplay, create your own player and create your own teams!

IT features everything, over 200 different dunks, and over 500 different moves and motions.I mean what more could you want. Superstars flying 50 ft. into the air. Its awesome! Its got all the correct rosters, and you whats even better! Their are some realistic moves, like dribbling behind your back and just running. THats pretty realistic, is it not. Everyone complains about how hard the CPU is, their not hard. SUre, if you want a game thats going to take you now more then 2-3 days, this games not the game for you, but if you want a game in reward for your money, its going to take you about 2-3 months. And its not like you cant figure out where to go or anything, and you get all stressed out. If you know the moves and practice them over and over and over and over again in exhibition mode, it'll be a piece of Boomshakalaka in the NBA Jam tournement. One word to sum it all up.

I'm the same person that would win regularly on NHL 2002 with the diffuculty all the way up, it's okay for you to cheat and find secrets but for the computer to do it, that's not fair to the player, of the 20 or so games I've played on this over the weekend I've lost all of them, I've never lost an NHL game before. I play it way more than ony other game by far and that's because anytime we have any friends over, we play it.
