(Weak)
『Like the other poster here, I too like to play live poker in the casino or with a group of friends. That isn't always feasible however and I agree that "virtual poker" can be a nice alternative. Unfortunately, this game doesn't deliver. The only reason the game received 2 stars from me is for the online play, which is almost impossible to come by. Typically on a weeknight, you might see somewhere between 4-10 players online. That's it. The career mode is a joke. There are various tourneys to enter each week as you simulate the life of a poker pro. That alone isn't bad, but the play is horrendous. The first major problem is the strength of hands (as mentioned before). After a couple of hours of frustrating play (getting busted out by an endless run of quads, boats, and trips), I decided to enter a tourney and fold the majority of the time to get a feel for what it takes to win in this game. Only 14 of the 102 hands I saw were laid down before the river. Here's the crazy part though (again, I only saw 102 hands)...22 trips, 18 boats, 14 straights, 11 flushes, 10 two pair, 7 quads, 4 pairs, and 2 high card. Almost 25% of the time (only the hands I saw...there may have been a few in the aforementioned 14 laydowns) a quad or boat comes up...insane. 72 of the 102 hands are considered premium...there's no way that it should take a straight or better to win 70% of the time. The second major flaw is the amount of time one of the computer players goes "all in." For as much as poker pros complain about amateurs going all in, you'd think that they'd make it a rare occurance in this game. The luck on the computer's side is ridiculous as well. I can't tell you how many times I've called an all in bet holding AK or a pair of 10's or better and ended up against something like Q5 off suit. Almost every time I've been all in pre-flop and have been close to a 2-1 favorite, I lose. The computer will end up catching 4 on the board for a flush or a straight, trip up, quad up, or somehow make a boat. The frustrating thing is that they have no business being in the hand in the first place! So, in the end, it's virtually impossible to win a tourney (or even place in the money) as they typically begin with somewhere between 150-200 players.

To sum it up...don't even think about wasting your money buying this game. You shouldn't even waste $4/$5 renting it.』

(Rather Disappointing.)
『Some very good players have lent their names to this game, and I am disappointed they did, because I might not have bought it otherwise.

The 2D graphics between games are rather ugly, and the 3D graphics move very stiffly, and seeing we are only playing poker, its not like a superhuman range of movement needs be programed into the game.

But my biggest disappointment was with the play, and thats the heart of any game no? In a 90 minute 5 card draw session, I lost at least 4 times, and observed two other computer players loosing too "Aces Full" Perhaps the program was simulating someone cheating. Certainly by the 3rd Appearance I would have walked away from any real table. Statistically the odds of Aces Full comig up legitimately 3 times in a 90 minute session have to be in the Millions to one. So I cant help but wonder if the program is not tweaked to up the number of premium hands, and that is a huge turn off for me as a player. I enjoy playing in a Casino (small stakes.) and when I cant play there, cyber poker is a nice alternative, but not if the game is not absolutely straight up, and I cant help but wonder if this program is absolutely straight up after a few sessions with it. Im not saying its cheating, but I am saying, I cant say for sure that its not.』

(elegant destruction of all who oppose you)
『elegant destruction of all who oppose you, that is what the gameplay appears to be, great for bloodthirsty gamers』

(Pretty fun game)
『Okay, I must admit that I made the mistake of seeing the movie first. In retrospect of how they had the movie tie in with the video game, I simply don't get it. Okay okay, let me explain. BloodRayne the video game is hugely better than the movie, so those movie goers who saw that first, don't let they shirk you from playing this game. That being said, I was very pleasantly surprised at how fun this game was to play!

Naturally you're playing as BloodRayne and she's more than just your average vampiric character. She's what they call a Dhampir, half human, half vampire. Naturally her character concept is incredibly alluring. Anyway the game starts with a video sequence of her being watched by the Brimstone society and her essentially getting recruited. Now this is all taking place a little before World War II era. Which obviously doesn't mesh with the movie, because in the movie she got involved with Brimstone in the Middle Ages, how you screw that one up is beyond me? Anyway, the game starts you off in Louisiana hunting down some anomalies. This is basically a training level so you can get used to using BloodRayne and your mentor Mynce is there to help you out. After you complete this section of the game your real mission begins, but five years has passed. The Nazis, on their rise to power, made a group called the Gegengheist Gruppe (Anti-Ghost Group) or GGG and Rayne's mission is to essentially bring this group to their knees. You get a list of targets to assassinate and you are sent through a large amount of harrowing missions!

I should forewarn any parents of how violent this game is, sorry just a good thing to throw out in a review. You do dismember limbs and heads from enemies. I was even surprised at all the harsh language in the script. To be honest the swearing seemed out of place and forced, so it had a fairly goofy quality, but that's from an adult perspective. So parents might want to know about these specifics because the target audience for this game is most certainly not young children, you've been forewarned.

I thought this was going to be a fairly quick game originally and I was pleasantly surprised it took me a lot more than six hours to beat, which is kind of what I was expecting. Unfortunately the story and missions get a little monotonous towards the end, because basically you have to assassinate the people on your target list. The only variation is the location you're in. Some of the areas are hard to navigate and you can get lost kind of easily because the way through isn't very obvious all the time. The worst part was jumping up to a certain level in the middle section of the game. Basically you had to jump upon a series of small ledges to a very high location in order to get out, which was a horrible area to play, but I will admit it was very different.

In terms of game controls, it does take some getting used to. Rayne can jump really high, which is a boon when you want to get somewhere tough! However, sometimes this can prove detrimental when you want to land someplace very specific, in flight she is sort of hard to control and you don't get much say. Rayne also has the ability to walk on something as thin as power lines (which is necessary in the Louisiana chapter). Like I mentioned above it's a boon, but it's not always easy to land on those power lines. Other than this general movement controls are fine and smooth. The camera can be rotated, which is a must for any newer game as far as I'm concerned!

In terms of combat this game can handle itself pretty well. I was surprised at the assortment of weapons I could choose from. Naturally Rayne has her arm blades (my preferred weapon in this game), but she can also pick up guns and you can use stuff ranging from pistols to rocket launchers. I wasn't expecting this, but I thought it was awesome. So if you have an enemy standing in water and you don't want to cross or get close you can shoot them from a distance. Rayne also executes automatic combos, which I suppose takes away from some of the challenging factor a game like this could use (however, I think it's challenging enough as is). However, your bloodlust can rise, in which case Rayne goes into a sort of berserker mode and she's nigh unstoppable! As you go further in the game she also levels up a bit and her attacks become stronger, but you have no control over that so it's not like a role playing game by any stretch of the imagination. I also like the way they handled the health/damage issue. If you get damaged all you need to do is suck some enemy's blood and your health meter will go up.

Added into this game is a whole series of different cheats you can enter to either help beat the game or make interesting things happen. Like you can get god mode or you can get one that adds extra dismemberment. I don't really like the way they made the interface for the cheat code section because it's fairly cumbersome to use and if you turn one on then have to stop playing the game, when you start your game up the next day you need to re-input all the cheat codes.

Ultimately I thought this game was a lot of fun. I have to take off a star because after a while the Nazi story-line, regardless of how interesting, does get rather mundane. I think the writers should've made a series of missions of the length of the Louisiana game, but with slightly different objectives each time. Rather than having a short introductory section with Louisiana and then having an incredibly lengthy assassin mission with the same objectives/concepts for the rest of the game. I think this would have split the game up a bit more and gave it a less monotonous feel. The writers did try to break it up fairly well, especially when you ended up going to the castle stronghold, that part was actually really fun, but again, the mission objectives were the same as the prior level. The game is definitely challenging and I will admit I had to turn on god mode a few times to get through certain sections because I simply couldn't find my way out! If you can beat this game with ease not on god mode, you are a better gamer than I and I salute you.』

(A FUN, SIMPLE, ACTION GAME THAT'S VERY BLOODY 8 OUT OF 10)
『I usually hate vampires in games, especially after playing Castlevania and Buffy the Vampire Slayer in which they're pretty big d***s to kill, but Bloodrayne is a surprisingly cool action game that at the same time is gleefully blood and gore saturated with its constant bullet-spraying and slicing and dicing gameplay, and you're a vampire!. Bloodrayne may be a bit undercooked around the edges but it's a game that is well worth an investment and of your time.
WHAT THE GAME IS: You are a half human, half vampire girl named Rayne. The time is the 1930's and you are a part of a secret organization called the Brimstone Society; an organization that hunts the supernatural. You must stop the Nazis from releasing horrific creatures using a powerful relic. So you kill ugly insect creatures, Nazis, and other abominations while hunting for Rayne's biological father who was a vampire. You must you various guns and the blades on your arms to accomplish your goals.
GRAPHICS: Its age shows. Lip movements are off, animations are stiff, and the textures and environments are dated, but still work.
MUSIC: Sets the mood, but feels a bit too quiet.
SOUND: Bullet-spraying, slicing and dicing, screams of enemies, and fairly good voice-acting.
GAMEPLAY: The gameplay is quite simple, yet quite fun. I love all the guns I can get, and I love blood rage mode when everything goes slow-motion and slicing Nazis to pieces and hearing them scream while I do it. The puzzles are interesting, but what damages this game in particular is the fact you will wander for long periods of time figuring out what to do next. This problem is a minor flaw to this wonderful gory experience. The controls work great, though there are minor camera problems. Beware of water, it will hurt you. And here's a tip so you don't get stuck at the beginning of the game: power lines are basically a walkway to the next location at the beginning of the game.
OVERALL: A fun, yet surprisingly simple action game that is very gory and very entertaining, it's an adventure that's difficult to put down the controller for.
THE GOOD: Very bloody gameplay, cool female protagonist, lots of weapons, interesting puzzles, okay graphics, interesting story.
THE BAD: You will wander for long periods of time figuring out what to do next, music and graphics are a bit dated.』

(Very enjoyable game. Recommended!)
『The graphics are nice. Not spectacular though, as some say it is. But they are adequate, at least indoor environments are. Outdoors aren't that good due to the dullness of everything.

The control system.... must heavily recommend using the "1st person" controls. You get different moves as you progress in the game, but you aren't much in control of them... they execute as the computer sees fit in the moment.

The game is fast paced and there's a lot of freedom of movement... although you don't progress unless you complete certain checkpoints, and exploring isn't very rewarding.

You get weapons, but IMHO they are not very useful. Sure they do quite a bit of damage, but what's a machine gun good for if you only get 15 rounds along with it? A grenade launcher with only 2 grenades? A 3 bullet loaded pistol?

The music isn't very varied, but it works well jumping up the pace of the game. Sound effects are ok..

All in all, it's an entertaining game indeed.』

(blood rayne)
『thank you for speedy shipment and great service. oh also thank you for helping me recover my refund for the xbox game grand theft auto (san andreas) which i never recieved.』
『As the half-vampire BloodRayne, you have sworn your life to protect humanity from the supernatural. Your latest assignment— seekand destroy the nefarious vampire Jurgen Wolf before he can use powerful occult relics to unleash untold horror upon the world. Slaughter, dismember and behead devious enemies that seek reinforcements and plan ambushes. Acquire supernatural skills and master brutal weaponry as you progress. BloodRayne is a pulse-pounding thrill ride that grabs you by the jugular and won't let go until it's over.』

(Hilarious romp, but not the old Larry)
『Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude is a sequel to Larry's dos-based adventure games from the 80s. Now you play as Larry's nephew (also named Larry) and must work through a bunch of hot, single co-eds to earn the right to star on a reality dating show.

This is a hilarious game, but its obviously geared towards a certain demographic. If you're a fan of gross-out teen/college comedies like American Pie, Van Wilder and Old School, you'll dig what's here. The presentation is polished, backing strong voice-acting with great dialogue and cartoon-like characters and environments. Yes there's upper nudity, but lower nudity has been censored (if you absolutely want it all, buy the uncut PC-only version).

Where the game fails is that it's based solely around mini-games, and these get repetitive. There's only a handful of variations, from your basic "whack a mole" to the button-pressing equivalent of DDR, to one that makes you guide a sperm down the right path to hit the best dialogue choices. You have to play a series of these to win the girls over, and they just get repetitive after awhile. What happened to the good old selectable dialogue choices of old adventure games? There are also no puzzle elements to figure out, disappointing as they were a huge part of the old Larry games.

So it's three stars, but that's a very strong three stars for the overall humour and presentation. If you can get past the repetitive mini-game mashing, give this one a try.

(Innapropriate and not worth it)
『This game Is NOT for kids. This is not for girls either.
This is just a game about trying to attract "Hot Babes"』

(Toh-dally worth it.)
『WARNING - item reviewed is PAL/European Uncensored version.

This game is worth playing through at least a couple of times. The minigames at first seem facile and repetitive, but once you get used to it you can concentrate on the humour going on in the background - the different conversations you can have, or, say, the reactions of a girl being heartily spanked!

If this was a typical Noughties college fratboy comedy movie, it would actually be a pretty good one. There are all sorts of little references and in-jokes that I for one found quite cute. There are also film references for the kind of geeks like me (I'm 40) who would buy a game like this : for example the sex toy factory in the game is called "Schwanstucker". This is a reference to a single one-liner gag in the movie Young Frankenstein. And the "brain exchange machine" that forms part of one of the more surreal parts of the plot is in fact the famed Interrossiter from schlock sci-fi flick This Island Earth, popularised by MST3000. Larry also makes reference to the fact that he's actually a character in a video game, so that if, like me, you like examining every object in sight (for each of which Larry provides a pithy comment), on something particularly boring like an ATM, Larry will say, "Listen, I'm tired of making this stuff up, let's go look at some boobies!" And during one dance game, Larry said, "You suck! Why don't you hand the controller to somebody who has some rhythm?" Finally, in the help for the "Everybody Naked!" option, the text reads "You've tried it in every other game, this is the one that actually works." Classic.

And boy! Does it work! It's a strange thing, but for all the inevitable polygon-ness of the bodies, the team at Vivendi/Sierra/whoever (I've never played a game with more logos displayed on start-up) have really worked to make these the most convincing naked game characters ever. And when re-playing through many of the scenarios, having the girl(s) involved appearing naked, actually gives it a lift and makes it *that* more enjoyable! No generic "skins" here, either - each girl's body has been designed to fit her character. S&M-crazy girl Suzi, for example, has rings in a Janet Jackson area; and both the eco-freak save-the-whales girl and the girl whom Larry succeeded by his ministrations in turning into a Lesbian, are notably, well, less "trim", shall we say? . This reviewer's overall opinion of the whole game of was raised considerably upon obtaining the last secret, simply because of the level of effort and attention to detail put in to the bonus aspect of the game, just to make sure the player wasn't disappointed.

This game contains, of course, every sexist stereotype there is, but just like the Benny Hill show (whose theme music is used for certain events and minigames, incidentally), the sexism absolutely cuts both ways.

Be warned! During the Chat scenes, where you have to keep the cursor on the right track to impress the girl, it's more than obvious the effect that drink has on the character's co-ordination. In the timed-button-press minigames, however, this was not nearly as obvious. In fact it looked like bad controller programming for one type of minigame, and ludicrously optimistic reaction-time expectations in another. I had played through the game once and almost an entire second run-through before I realised that it was Larry's drunken state that made those games so hard to play. So use that X button!

This is light, fluffy (fluffer?) entertainment that takes a little effort to get the most out of, but is absolutely worth it. Each mini-game, incidentally, has a way of completing it as "Perfect!", which gives you the tokens for unlocking secrets and bonuses. And for storyline games that you've already passed, they can all be replayed for you to get that Perfect! score, so the replay value is moderately high. I certainly found the game totally worth the money.』

(An enjoyable sexual escapade&1 of the best games of 2004!!)
『"Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude" is the first LSL game in about 8 years, and also the first to cross over from the personal computer to home video game platforms on the Playstation 2&XBox. As a fan of old Sierra games (even though I was too young to have played the early LSL games), I was incredibly pleased to see the series resurrected and brought to new heights!

Important note: "Magna Cum Laude: Uncut&Uncensored" has now been released for the PC, and it features full frontal nudity and none of the pesky "censorship bars" that are present in this version.

Obviously, nudity is the main selling point of this game. Anyone who says otherwise is trying too hard to justify his or her purchase. The college co-eds are voluptuous, they are animated in a sexy, often provocative, ways, and the main quest of the game is to get Larry laid. Because of the time and attention put into creating realistic (though cute in an almost-anime way), this game is more titilating than any of the "Dead or Alive" series of fighting games, more fun than any of the WWE wrestling video games that feature the strip matches, and the females are more desirable than Lara Croft ever has been.

The women are mostly stereotypical "college girls" -- we have the head cheerleader Barbara Jo Bimbo (B.J. for short), the Italian castoff from "The Sopranos" Analisa, the Russian exchange student Zanna, the hot but nerdy college professor Beatrice, and so on. Chasing after each woman requires different approaches, and the result is never the same twice. And no, Larry *does not* get with all these babes. I hate to spoil it for you, but he only has actual intercourse a few times during the entire game. But every encounter is sexy, funny, and most importantly, packed full of eye candy!

The gameplay is fun. It is not very involving and has been criticized for being mostly a string of "mini-games." That is true; however, the variety of the games keeps it interesting as you progress through the storyline. The script is absolutely hilarious, and the comedy is equal to the nudity as a selling point for this game. If you are a guy, or even a gal who likes to laugh at guys, you will laugh at Larry and the things coming out of his mouth. He rambles on a lot, gets off-topic, tries horrible pickup lines, lies constantly, and even staggers around drunk and farts. If you've ever known a man who made you laugh simply because he was, to quote Steve Martin, "a wild and crazy guy," then you will enjoy the story of Magna Cum Laude. And the voice acting is wonderful; there is not a bad actor or actress in this entire game.

Now a few words on the Mature Audiences rating: This game is about sex, breasts, drinking, jokes, and other things guys find enjoyable. For some people, this is disturbing. Those people need to get a life. I can play Grand Theft Auto, in which my character is able to walk down any street and at any moment cut off the head of a pedestrian with a sword. Or gun down dozens of policemen, only to enter a cheat code and get away with it all at the last possible minute. Yet somehow, the ESRB (game ratings board) finds Larry's girlfriends more offensive when they drop their shorts. Give us a break! Violence is much more detrimental to society&to teenagers than sex is, and yet we still can't get over our fear of pixelated private parts. It's ridiculous!

All in all, I give "LSL: Magna Cum Laude" a totally positive recommendation to anyone old enough to purchase it. It was definitely one of the best games of 2004 simply because it is like nothing else on the market today: a fun, sexy romp through college life. 5 stars! 2 thumbs up! Just buy it!』

(Not like Mario kart like they say)
『I was told by reviews that it was like a mario kart version for the Xbox, but it doesnt relate. It's slow moving and not that exciting. It would be a blast I'm sure to a kid, but not for a teenager』

(Looks better then the gameplay)
『Unfortunately, this sequel to the Playstation's Crash Team Racing was a flop.

You play as Team Bandicoot (The Good Guys) or Team Cortex (The Bad Guys)in this very poor excuse for a racing game. Come on, everyone knows that when you think of kart racing your thinking of Mario Kart; so did the people at Vicarius Visions, Universal Interactive, and Vivendi Universal.(Those dudes who made that terrible Buffy game)

Audio- Nice,in game Dolby Digital A+

Visuals- Very sleek and and cartoony, perfect for a game like this. A+

Gameplay- Well, from the images and the and the great audio you would think this game would have great gameplay, well I'm sorry to dissapoint you but you WON'T be impressed. First there's the one player mode, which is an "Adventure" where you'll have to complete tedious challenges and race the AI. You have the choice to choose which character to use in each challenge or race, but they all prety much drive the same no matter what the manual says. Racing the AI players is just to easy, mainly because they don't really give up much of a fight. Then all of a sudden it's like the game kicked in to EXTRA HARD mode and the AI players are just zipping by. Very annoying. You do have a choice of of weapons, but they don't really seem to prevent you from winning. Or if your not into the "Adventure" (Wouldn't Blame You) then theres the multiplayer. There you can chosse between battle or racing other players. The battles are fun, buttle get boring FAST. The Multipalyer racing can be entertaining if your NOT racing. F

(Super Mario 64 Meets Nascar)
『I'm a big fan of racing games, and got this one for my birthday (which, as I've said before, is a GREAT value).

This game has a storyline, but here you go--If you don't care about the storyline, it doesn't really matter that much. Just go racing!

If you do care about the storyline, you are supposed to try and escape from the evil alien (close enough) To do this, you need to win enough races to qualify to race his champions. This is where you meet Super Mario 64. In simplest terms there is a world that you drive around in which connects all of the race tracks together. You have to win at certain ranking levels before you can progress on to new tracks. There are also challenging, hard-to-get-to areas that require you to learn the car's special moves.
This pays off though, because then you know how to use them in the races, and you win more often. In the races, you get better at the moves, which in turn helps you get to more hard spots in the world map.

*****Final Thoughts*****
This is a fun game for up to four players. The basic controls are easy to learn, and the advanced controls are relatively easy to learn, but take longer to master. If you like storylines, you'll love this game. If you don't, you'll enjoy the game, but may get frustrated trying to unlock extra tracks and vehicles.』

(best crash game ever)
『do you like crash, well if you do you should read about this game and see if you like it.My favorite part is that you start off with 8 cars and unlock seven. This game got realistic graphics and if you like cartoon racing games for example Mario Kart Double Dash crash nitro kart might be the game you want but I am not forcing you to get it I am just giving you information about this game, well hope you get a game that you like.』

(Fun Game But Graphic Issues)
『This game is alot of fun. It is based on the excellent concept of the racing game Re-Volt.

On major problem is that the game is supposed to be in 720i format, which my X-Box and HDTV will support, but when I set my box to that format the game won't even load. This is a glitch, or the game is just 480i resolution. The graphics are good, but they aren't in 720i.』

(Kung Fu Chaos)
『My babies had to have this game after playing with another child's game. The thrill went away fast for them. So many new games and online gaming. A silly game overall - in a good way.』

(Better than Bruce Lee)
『This game is better than Bruce Lees jumping death kills. Sound rocks, graphics are fresh and clean, its as funny as a dubed jackie chan movie, and the gameplay is great. Even me, a really big fighting game fan enjoyed this sort of simple mechanics type game. Levels are great, just wish there were a few more. Overall this is so additive and as fun as Kung Fu Hustle. So if your into a great new party game for the xbox then go and get this now!!!』

(This Game Never Should Have Sold)
『I am serious. This game never should have sold. Not because its a bad game; far from it, this game is just about the ultimate ideal in video gaming history. Create your own martial arts flick while playing a video game. Nay good sir, the reason this game should never have sold is because it seems as if it was created specifically for me.

I mean, this is the game that I have been waiting my whole life for. A game where I am more than just a ninja on the screen, I'm an actor/ninja movie star! Okay, that sounds really stupid. And yet its true. And this is more than a ninja game alone. Want to be an aging but still lethal martial arts master? Done. Want to play as a "Lone Wolf and Cub" inspired samurai, also done. Want to play as a deity from Chinese myth, fairy tale and feature film? Equally done. Should you desire to be a gaseous Mexican wrestler, well, that comes later in the game. I was, of course, Ninja Fu Hiya, star of such films as "Did Somebody Order a Ninja," and "Ninja Cry Too."

The point of this game is to create a martial arts masterpiece called, Kung Fu Chaos: Face Full of Fists. You first play through the long movie production in order to unlock characters and sets and such, then you can use these to create your own kung fu films. The problems on set range from members of a clan of bloodthirsty ninjas trying to kill you, to difficulties trying to extend your bathroom/coffee breaks. This is, oddly enough, classified as a "party game."

I say that this game is almost catered to my interests and mine alone (which I know isn't true, but poetic license and all that allows me to continue) because there are many things which will ultimately turn many others off. The controls are overly simple. I found this somewhat refreshing from all the complicated combos out there, but that's me.

Also, the director of the movie you're starring in, a little fat man named Shao Ting, is constantly assaulting you with a barrage of insults. Some people, amazingly enough, find being insulting, um, insulting.

But these aside, this is just about as neat as it gets. I do wish you had a little more control over how your finished movie products look, but this game can be the first step in a new kind of ninja movie making. This is best summed up in the immortal words of Ninja Fu Hiya: "No! Ninja taste bad!"』

(It's all right, for a while)
『Kung Fu Chaos is the game where there are really weird characters fighting each other. I got bored of it in just a few months. Basically, the game is about when you are trying to get a position of a fighting actor or actress by the director who has been a complete failure.

The GOOD THINGS about Kung Fu Chaos:

The selection of things to do- Instead of just fighting, you have adventure mode, and also a fighting time where you fight about 15 minutes and see how many people you have killed for the last 15-30 minutes.

The creativity- The creators did a great job of making up places where they would have auditions. Falling down a escalator then explodes and all of that kind of stuff. It is very cool what they did with that.

The BAD THINGS about Kung Fu Chaos:

Replay value- Basically, replay value means how long you will be willing to play it. This game has a bad replay value. I stopped playing it in a few months. I found another game and started playing that instead.

The controls- When you first play, it should be a little bit diffucult about how this game is supposed to be played. Instead, there are so many controls that you don't know what to do. It took me a good week to understand the controls.

This game is alright for the price. So if you like to play a good fighting game for a few months, go right ahead a buy it.』

(Rubbish all the WAY)
『Kung-Fu Chaos has you fighting in arenas where you can ring out, or use objects like tables, chairs and even people to toss at your opponent. Up to four people can play simultaneously or you can play by yourself one-on-one. You can also team up with BOTS to fight against the cpu. The game has very cartoonish looking graphics, the sound effects and dialog are corny like an old Kung-Fu movie. In fact, you are playing inside a kung-fu movie. You'll hear the director telling you what to do and making snide remarks when you make a mistake. The whole game is silly and feels very childish. Not my cup of tea! I'm shocked that it got lots of good reviews here.

Pros:
+funny
+instant replay
+up to four players
+play with BOTS
+okay for kids

Cons:
-unresponsive controls
-cheap sound effects
-thinks it's funny
-BOTS are stupid
-nobody ever dies
-limited attack moves
-gets old fast
-stupid music
-retarded and pointless gameplay
-small fighting space

『Do you want to party like it’s 1979? Well pull up a seat grasshopper, and get ready forKung Fu Chaos, a silly but fun party game that's basically a kung fu movie simulator. You pick one of eight fighters to "act" in various fighting scenes interspersed with party games--thinkPowerstonemeetsFusion Frenzy. After a scene is finished, you can replay the level as a 1970’s kung fu movie, complete with commentary from fictional movie director Shao Ting.

Kung Fu Chaoshas solid single and multiplayer play. In single player mode, you can play the Ninja challenge, which pits you against a clan of mysterious evil Ninjas. If you unlock enough areas in the Ninja Challenge, you can choose a character and jump into the single player Miniseries challenge, which has unique tasks for each character. If you opt for multiplayer, you’ve got the 12 level Championship game, where up to four human players can duke it out. There are also Battle Game, Freestyle, and Rehearsal modes, which can be played in either single or multiplayer.

The graphics and music are decent, not extraordinary. The game has a fun deformed-cartoon style, and the music includes both the theme fromEnter the DragonandKung Fu Fighting. The voice acting is good too, especially during cut scenes and when characters taunt each other. The frame right stays smooth no matter how many characters are on the screen, which is good, but sometimes there is so much fast action on the screen (especially during multiplayer play), that you can easily lose track of your character.

Those who approach this game as a pure fighting game will be disappointed. The moves are fairly simple, and all of the players only have one special attack. It's meant to be played with pals: get a few friends together and it becomes a terrific kung-fu romp. Fight in Chinese restaurants, ancient temples, and spooky graveyards. Duke it out on a raft in the rapids while a T-Rex is chasing you. Save a princess, and just for laughs, hurl said princess at your enemies. Beat up ninjas in one scene, and throw life rafts to them in another. Power-up by successfully taunting your foes, and hear the baying donkey when you fail. This game is made for a party, and it's undeniably fun.--Bryan Karsh

Pros:

  • Cheesy kung-fu movie style, complete with taunts
  • Strong multiplayer and single player games
  • Funny as a poorly written fortune cookie
Cons:
  • Simple moves will disappoint fans of fighting games.

『[...]. This game is actually really fun to play. I am a big Aliens and Predator fan and this game is right up anyones alley who enjoys a good, brutal action. It does have its flaws though. Some of the AI isnt very smart, making some portions easy. Other than the Predator itself, the graphics are ho-hum ( even for xbox standards). Overall, incredibly fun game. Replay value is a little low, not much to do after you finish it. You can go back and play the levels again with what equipment you've upgraded (keep in mind, you only get the weapons the level will allow you to have). Good game, good buy.』

『Reviewed for Big Boss Games by: JLR

Who hasn't seen Predator? And for those who have, we all wonder why there hasn't been a great game made by now.

He's the ultimate hunter, able in both action and stealth. I mean let's face it, Dante would get waxed like a floor, and Sam Fisher would never see it coming.

So it is with great pleasure that there is FINALLY a game at least worthy of this character's truly game ready abilities. I'm not saying this game is better than the games hinted at above, but it does what it is meant to do very well. And that is, allow the player to be the hunter, and really feel like you are playing as the Predator.

To keep it short and sweet, if you ever wanted to be the Predator, buy this game, period.

A big 8.5 of 10.』

『The only reason why im not giving this game a five star rating is because of the free roam ability. your only aloud about a ten block radius to complete ur mission which kinda sucked. anyway its really fun, you are aloud all the predators weapon which is really cool, you get all the different visions as the predator. plus its a challenge, so its not like you'll waist money. Its well thought out and louds of fun. It has a great story line about a predator thats on a mission to win his honor back.

This game is recommended to all, especially pred lovers.

rate this plz.』

(Good but not great)
『I think that some of the people who wrote the other reviews are to hard on the game. They all seem to fucus on the graphics on the game. Well the problem with the game is that the graphics are horrible,terrible,bad... just plain bad. But hey look at resident evil 2 on playstation people play that and they would still give it 8 out of 10. The story line of the game is very good. Well first you start of in the 1930's you jump out of window all beat up(not knowing why until towrds the end of the game). You have to run to your ship and get the heck out of the city. Well you dont! You fall and try to blow up yourself and the city. Once again you fail to suceed you survive. You have showed much disrespect surviving. You are banished to a world for many years only with your glaive(spear) expected to die. And once again you do not. So they come back to give you another chance to regain your honor. These phsyco guys have taken your technolgy and know its some kind of high tech futre city. Might i add you return to the same city. There on you play and get back your stuff. The thing i liked most about the game was the costumes and that you could upgrade your weapons to be much more... powerfull and cooler looking. There are certain attacks you can do called exucutions that are absolutley fabulous. Each bloody and quick. One of them is were you stick your wrist blades in there back and pull up ripping the head and the spinal cord out of the body. That is all for now. But just two more things. If you get frustrated just think for awhile of how to beat this guy or if your stuck in a building not knowing were to go or look at the directions in the mission objectives or just get a guide on the internet. the second thing is i seriously if your not a big predator fan and you dont really like the movies or book s you will hate the game but if you love the predator like me then well you will love this game( except for the graphics) thank you for reading my review.』

(not quite, but good)
『Due to all the reviews, I got this one. Bottom line is that it does not stack up to NFS, if you are a fan of that series. The thing I love about NFS is that you can get your car to an almost unbeatable state. I like to win so that is great with me. DUB is more difficult due to the broad spectrum of cars/events to choose from. I DO like DUB but the game but if you do not want to attempt a race 50 times in order to win, this ain't the one for you.』

(Very Fun, Great Eye-Candy, Cool Looking Cities&Cars - Buy This!!!)
『Recommended. I think this is one of my favorite Xbox games. It looks great driving fast through all these city streets, the detailed eye-candy scenery zooming by... The rain looks great, the snow looks great&makes a cool vortex trail behind yours&other vehicles... Different times of day are looking good here, I feel driving at midnight is the best. A lot of fun... The sounds are real cool too (did another reviewer complain?) You don't have to be Einstein to play this, it's very arcadish in a good way, but some events are pretty challenging. You've got so many cars here, big old classics&hella new cars as well including SUV's, plus a variety of motorcycles. Each vehicle type requires a different driving style (of course)&there a speacial weapon-attacks that vary according to vehicle type that add a fun, optional dimention to gameplay. Customization is extensive&off the hook. You can get a collection of very sweet rides to race in&you can take them onto Xbox Live... I am playing this game alot&I often use a "open all maps" cheat to just go ahead&race where ever I want, no problem (all games should have cheats). This is a beautiful looking, sounding&playing game, one the programmers should be proud of&one any Xbox owner should have.』

(best racing game out)
『ok...if you love customizing your car, intense driving, and just love to customizing everything about your car, GET THIS GAME. it has a huge selection ranging from little decals to vinyls to transmissions to about 80 different rims. not to forget the fun you have racing tuners, suvs, choppers, bikes, muscles, and more. everything else is perfect. it will seem a little short - but only because you'll get hooked!!!』

(Played the game all the way through Here are my thoughts)
『This game is a great arcade racing game. Realism is not part of the game and that is fine I really didn't want that. I have seen a lot of people however comparing it to NFSU2 and saying that it blows it away. I somewhat disagree. The only things this game had an advantage on NFSU2 was the licensed vehicles and mods you were able to make. The one thing I however loved about NFSU2 was driving my car around with the engine and sound effects turned up. I loved hearing that engine and the great sound effects. It really improved the game. However Midnight Club Dub Ed seemed to take their sound effects straight from the Grand Theft Auto series. This works fine in GTA but in a cusomizing racing game it is really a let down. I mean the sounds aren't even remotely close to sounding real. I really emphasized on this because it bothered me the most.

The next thing is the graphics. Once again not as sharp as NFSU2 but still good enough to be enjoyable. The details throughout the cities are nice touches. They could have improved this a little but it is good enough where I wouldn't want it any better due to loading times.

Control of the vehicles is fine. The only thing that bothers me is when you press the accelerator button it is full throttle or none. This bothered me because I couldn't cruise around at normal speeds with the manual transmission on. Like for instance I would drive in NFSU2 down some streets at normal speeds in sixth gear like you would really drive the car in real life. In this game you either go full speed or are coasting. It just doesn't feel real.

The gameplay however I believe is where this game does shine. It is challenging and rewarding. There are some races that took me quite some time to complete. Sometimes you will just have to put the controller down and walk away before you start throwing things. I can not tell you how many times I would be a turn away from the finish line in the lead and low and behold here comes a car, bus, or something else out of nowhere and smack! You get passed race over. This game is well worth the money and despite some drawbacks I do reccomend it and hope they come out with a new one.
One more thing. This game dogs on some of the American cars again. For instance the Z06 Corvette has better real life handling and speed times than many of the other cars in the game but you wouldn't know that from the game. It controls like a classic car and doesn't have the speed it should.』

(THIS IS THE BEST GAME IN RACING HISTORY)
『This game is definitly the best, by far, racing game I have ever played! The graphics are probably the best since NFSU2 and Forza Motorsport! The only thing that I don't really like about this game is the music. It gets stuck in your head after playing a lot. The cars are totally awesome (when pimped right) and there is a lot of selection, ranging all the way from Chevy to Mercedes! This game was great for me, but if you like SUVs, this is really not the game for you. If I could have a say in what cars to include in the game, I would get rid of the Gembella, and replace it with a normal Porsche. I would also add some SUVs such as the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, and the BMW X5 4.8is. One major thing that I would change, is the music as I mentioned before. It is too annoying when playing for a long period of time.

Note to players: When playing MC3, save your money. It will help you greatly. Hey, that's how I got my Mercedes CL500! And an even better reason to save money, is that you will get your car tricked out faster.』

Urban racing got faster than ever - and it looks better, too. Midnight Club has partnered with DUB Magazine - the car publication favored by the hip-hop world. You'll make your car look great while fighting for first place.』

(One of my favorite Spyro games)
『I really enjoyed playing all the characters.
This is the last Great spyro game.
All the new games are limited, cute story lines but This game is much more open and easy to explore!』

(Spyro is Cool)
『I own this and most Spyro games. Including the first three from Playstation. I really love this little dynomite dragon. I won't stop til I beat mostof the Spyro games.』

(fun but hard and freaky characters)
『I have this game on my PS2 and it's fun and all but the pink dragon makes my spine tingle.I mean she has this hypnotic stare and she's trying to take MY spyro. and you know what else is dumb there's no life bar so you can't see if your'e dying. the boss battles are soooooooooooo stupid and sooooooooo easy and you know what the enimes get dumber and dumber by the seccond so if you played this game and if your'e on my side youre'
A. a spyro maniac B. you hate ember』

(better on playstation)
『Unfortunately I learned how to play Spyro on a Playstation, so I have had a hard time adjusting to the different set up of the X-Box controller. It is still a great game full of querky characters though.
My main problem was with the gems, the side games, and the purchasing items. In the original Spyro games, there were only a set amount of jewels you could collect from any one level. With this game, the jewels come back if you go to a different area and come back. It takes some of the search and find fun out of the game. Also, the side games are much more difficult. Beatable, but sometimes so difficult that I end up getting frustrated and chucking my controller. Moneybags comes back with a shop and to use things like fireballs you have to buy them. You have to buy keys to unlock chests, which is something I find to be a bit too much. Sometimes you are so deep in a level that when you come across a chest and don't have a key, you have to almost leave the level to go buy one. Also there are things you have to do in the first couple levels that you can't do until you have completed several others because they require powers that you don't get until later in the game. You are continually trying to go back and find where where those spots were. It is inconvienient.
Fortunately, I still love this game. The characters are hilarious, especially Sparx the dragonfly. I am hoping the new Spyro game will have some kinks worked out of it for hte X-Box system. If you have a Playstation and an X-Box, take the Playstation version. It is easier to control and figure out than the X-Box version. This makes sense considering it was originally a Playstation exclusive game.』

(Great game for a 5 year old.)
『Spyro was one of the first games my 5 year old ever played. It was challenging enough for him without being too frustrating. There are alot of Xbox games on the market that are for more mature audiences but this one was perfect for a 5 year old. This game was not meant for an adult gaming audience. I was surprised when I realized this game is no longer in production. There should be more games for the 5-10 age bracket. My son loves this game. He literally wore it out. I have to find him another copy of Hero's Tail to replace his old one.』

『Everything was just the way is supposed to be.....

no problems with anything

(Classic retro Mega Man)
『If you liked all the Mega Man's from the 80's and the 90's then get this collection. The gameplay is awesome and once you play for awhile it seems like you're playing NES or SNES. This game will keep you busy for hours and there are unseen bonuses. I've only finished Mega Man 5 so far but I opened a half hour long episode featuring the creator of Mega Man after doing so, and that alone was well worth the price.』

(just okay)
『I had high hopes for this, as a long time Megaman fan.

The games are fine, a few are completely useless (like the later arcade games) and un-interesting.

I am very, very disappointed that about 1/2 of the game music is "remixed" or "tampered with", as if I'd somehow enjoy playing the old games with crappified versions of the music. It makes playing those levels no fun for me.

The menu/title screens have a lot to be desired as well. I'm glad I got it used for cheap.』

(Megaman Classics)
『This is a great revival of all the first megaman games. I thought I had lost all the old NES ones forever, but this collection brings them back and does a great job with it. Definitely worth buying if you're a diehard Megaman fan.』

(NnyCW for Capcom City)
『Mega Man Anniversary Collection takes the original 8 Mega Man games, throws in two arcade Mega Man games (one unrealesed in the USA until now) and combine them all to form one hell of a great Mega Man package. Then Capeven added Navi mode to all eight games (something that was added later in the series, and can be turned off if you want to play them as they originally were) added re-mixed music, and added in a save feature to replace the pass codes from the old games. The XBOX version included the extras from both the PS2 and the GCN version (PS2 version included a full episode of the Mega Man cartoon and the GCN version icluded an interview with the creator of Mega Man) Because of the fact that the XBOX version includes the extras from both the others, makes this the best one to get.』
『Go back to Mega Man's beginning with these special game compliations. Save the planet from 15 years worth of evil villains! Mega fun awaits with 10 action-packed games.』

(Same old basic concept, but..)
『This game is, as you'd expect, similar to any other Yu-Gi-Oh game. You duel opponents, get cards, and build decks. That said, this is the worst Yu-Gi-Oh game I've played, and I've played seven or eight of them.

My biggest problems are with the gameplay. The primary problem is that it's incredibly incredibly slow-paced. I'm used to drawing, placing cards, attacking, and ending my turn in seconds; in Dawn of Destiny you have to wait for the auto-draw which slowly places your card in your hand then take your turn at an annoyingly slow pace as the cursor moves slowly (you'd expect the cursor to move as soon as you press left or right, but there's a slow set pace that you can't move the cursor faster than). Also, you're forced to watch a useless battle animation which further hinders the speed of the duel. One should be able to turn off these animations, but no. Options consists of exactly this: SFX Volume, BGM volume, Adjust Vertical, Adjust Horizontal, and Vibration. Absolutely useless.

Another problem is how far zoomed out the field is when dueling. I have great vision, but the cards and field are just unnecessarily small. This game not only shows the entire field during the duel, both your side and the opponent's side, but has a big empty space all around the field. Instead, the screen should show one side of the field at a time without the big empty space like many of the other Yu-Gi-Oh games I've played. This zoom problem continues in building a deck as well, as the format of everything again makes everything too small. You can easily see everything, but it's all still unnecessarily zoomed out. I don't need to see my entire deck laid out before me, lists are just fine. The deck building also feels a bit cumbersome.

Additionally, this game has no storyline, which I find to be a big flaw. All it is is selecting opponents to duel. This is fine, but should not be the only game mode.

Overall, very disappointing game. I've beaten every other Yu-Gi-Oh game I've played, but a handful of duels in this poor game is enough for me. It's fun, as it's basically just the Yu-Gi-Oh trading card game on XBox, but the snail pace of this game especially, as well as the poor zoom and lack of a story to make it interesting make it effectively unplayable for me. If you can stand dueling at a pace that would allow you to read a book at the same time then you may enjoy this game, but to me the speed of this game is unbearable.』

(Only the hardcore need apply)
『Yu-Gi-Oh the Dawn of Destiny for the Xbox is based on the popular anime series where Yugi and his friends use their supernatural decks of cards to summon creatures for duels against other players. The game features the card-dueling aspect of the popular TV series, but turns up being a rather dull and tedious chore more than anything else. First of all, if you are new to this type of card battling game (as I am) it will take a good many games before you even remotely begin to understand the confusing and sometimes pointless rules of the game. Since I am new to this type of game I'm going to try and overlook the steep learning curve and review it based on other aspects such as playability, entertainment value and just whether it's enjoyable or not. Yu-Gi-Oh the Dawn of Destiny starts you off with a random deck of cards. You will have spell cards, monster cards, trap cards and summon cards. If your opponent plays a monster card you can counter-attack it with a monster card of your own. The spell and trap cards are used for various offensive and defensive maneuvers. There are countless combinations that you can use and hundreds of monsters to attack your opponents with. Since I'm on the subject of opponents, I need to mention that the only way to play against a friend is via system linking two Xboxes together. That's right, there is no Xbox Live support or even split-screen option. So let's say you and your brother want to have a card duel, all you will need is two Xboxes, a system link cable, two TV's and two copies of Yu-Gi-Oh. Why not just buy a deck of cards and make life a little easier? This game could've been just a bit exciting if you could have played against human opponents via Xbox Live. The visuals in Yu-Gi-Oh are based on Egyption themes, which means there's plenty of sandy browns and shadowy backgrounds to be seen. The box claims that you can "witness your favorite monsters engage in spectacular 3D battles". Well, what you get when you play a monster card is a 3D version of that monster on screen for a few seconds and a short attack animation. Not very "spectacular" in my book. Overall the visuals are bland and unimpressive. The music and sound effects are likewise very forgettable.
Unless you are Yu-Gi-Oh's biggest fan or just a total card-dueling game geek, I can't see any reason to even consider playing this game. So if you were to ask me if Yu-Gi-Oh the Dawn of Destiny is an awful game, I would have to answer yes, but it's not as bad as being poked in the eye with a sharp stick. To sum it all up, Yu-Gi-Oh just isn't very much fun to play. If there had been Xbox Live support it would have at least given you some live players to compete against, but still would be a boring card-dueling game with too many confusing rules and a bland presentation. For the hardcore Yu-Gi-Oh fans out there who need a card game fix, I would advise you to go buy the real card game and play it with a friend.

(No Story, Nothing to Unlock, No reason to keep playing)
『This game is OK if all you want is to play some duels for a few hours and then move on. But once you beat all the characters, there's nothing more to do. You're left feeling like "Okay, what? Why did I just play this game?"

There is no storyline to the game. Just a series of triple duels you can play and once you beat the 15th triple duel, nothing else happens. Sure, you can get new cards by playing people over again, but what's the point if there no one else to play.

In addition, your opponents are fairly easy and become quite predictable, so you don't even need a great deck to do very well.

You do start with fairly integrated starting decks, which is about the only strong point.

I was very dissatisfied with this game. Overall, I like Yugioh games, but this one was very simple and utilized very little strategy. I would reccommend any other Yugioh game before this one.』

(CCG Fans&Yu-Gi-Oh Fans will enjoy it)
『The plus side: This game can be quite addictive. The same formula that CCG companies use: Putting a few rare powerful card in each pack, translates well into this game, as you duel opponents and get thier cards. You end up playing over and over to see what cards you get when you win.

There are two ways to win cards:
1) Duel vs. single opponent.
Reward if win: 3 cards, and they usually are more powerful or are the rare ones.
Reward if loss: NOTHING!
2) Duel vs. Triple tier. Reward is based on how many opponents you defeat.
All 3: 5 cards
2: 4 cards
1: 3 cards
0: 1 card
The cards come from the player you lost to, or all three if you beat the tier.

The last player in the tier is then unlocked in single mode.

This makes you play over&over to unlock opponents, then duel them in single mode. Since this game is so cheap, compared to other Xbox games, it is a bargain for money vs. time played.

Now the bad news: I was really disappointed in the graphics. The attack animations are very poor, and worst of all: you cannot tell what your opponent is playing, because the cards are so small on the screen. I've wasted good cards on poor monsters since I could not tell what it was.

Next, to get cards, you pick a statue, but different cards are in different statues and there is no way to tell which cards are in which statue. The ability to pick one&get 2 random would have greatly helped.

Lastly, this game is VERY poorly designed or programmed. Limited cards (only one to a deck) are only limited for you, the computer has multiple copies. One duelist, Rare Hunter, has multiple Exodia pieces, and card drawing out the yang, he will get Exodia in about 10 turns. Also, CPU decks start out with excellent, rare cards in thier starting hands. I've had Yami Yugi bring out Magician of Black Chaos (ultra-rare, ultra powerful card, need 8 stars of tribute, a summon card&the Magician cards at the same time) on the first turn 3 times. The odds of winning $175,000 dollars on the Mega lotto are better than that.

So, in a phrase: The computer cheats. It will not attack a card if its ATK is less than the DEF of your card. It will flip summon a card, then immediately shift it to defense mode, which is illegal. If you have high ATK&DEF card face down, it will not summon face up, so you can't bluff the computer.
This means that the frustration factor is very high, so kids, (and a lot of adults) will probably turn off the game, then get turned off of the CPU tactics and stop playing.

So if you are a fan of CCG or Yu-Gi-Oh go ahead and get it, otherwise look elsewhere.』

(god card in this is fake)
『this may not be about the game but the god card is not real if it has limitted edisin on it so i say show the god card on the web site』
