Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (worth bying) 『Its a great game. It really is. And the nice thing if you beat the game and get tired of the missions you can play them again with bonus craft or with a friend. You could also play bonus missions or chalenge somebody in a game or duel. If you like this game you should also try "starwars starfighter."
P.S. When you play two player the person playing with you will side with you and also have a different craft. On some levels you can even get crafts that you couldn't get even as a bonus craft. So here's my suggestoin to you. Get your little sister or cousin to play with you and take the cool car.』
(Innovative and Fun At First, Tiresome After a Couple Hours) 『It's always been extremely "hit-or-miss" with LucasArts Entertainment's long running series of games based off of the Star Wars universe. On one hand, they've brought to life several extremely successful arcade-style flight simulators, but on the other they've stumbled and bumbled their way through countless platformers and shoot-em-ups. In more recent years, even their greatest strength, the flight sims, have taken a nosedive with poor showings on the PSX, N64, PS2, GameCube and Xbox. So when I finally sat down to have a go at this one, it was with a fleeting hope to see more of what once was and less of what's most recently been. I remember when things were good, and it's very hard to forget when they were bad.
The basic premise of this one is quite simple; you alternate playing the roles of Adi Gallia, a young Jedi Master and Nym, a typical gung-ho, brightly colored alien pirate, as they battle to save the republic from the looming threat of the Trade Federation. Both fly easily recognizable ships, and each come fully equipped with their own set of unique special weapons and secondary firepower. While Adi can use the force to aid her in the battle by slowing down time, reinforcing shields or striking enemy ships with force lightning, Nym's vehicle carries a heavy load of blunt firepower. Adi's ship is faster and more maneuverable, but Nym's packs a much stronger punch.
The entirety of the controls themselves are very easy to learn and deceptively simple to master. It's nowhere near as complex and customizable as the keyboard-based system introduced by X-Wing and Tie Fighter, but it still accomplishes many of the same tasks without the necessity of another sixty buttons. The left analog stick controls the direction of your ship, and the right analog handles the roll, which is more of a luxury feature than anything else. In space you won't need to put this to use at all, except perhaps to dodge enemy fire, but when you're battling near the surface of a planet it's easy to get disoriented by your surroundings if everything isn't level. The left and right triggers handle the speed of your craft, with the left your brake and the right your speed boost. I miss the ability to set my thrust to 40% or 60%, or to match the speed of my target and ride his tail until he's dead, but the lack of so many confusing buttons here is a trade-off I can live with.
The story, unfortunately, isn't nearly as inventive nor as easy to follow as the weapons or control systems. What story there is shoots by at such a blazing pace, it's nearly impossible to comprehend what's just happened before you're right in the thick of another fight. At one point, I didn't understand that I was dogfighting with Jango Fett himself until the second or third time he killed me. Efforts were made to tie this title in with the events going on during Episode II, but you could blink and miss the connections. Samuel L. Jackson's character, Mace Windu, is directly involved with everything you do, but it's hard to tell when that's his voice you're hearing over the comm-link, because the voice actor they cast for his role sounds NOTHING like his movie counterpart.
Another thing that bothered me about the way this game played was its straightforward series of goals. While one of the coolest things about Tie Fighter was its variety, Jedi Starfighter puts you in a new location, shakes up your odds a little bit, and tells you to do one of two things; protect something or kill something. Gone are the reconnaissance missions that made the pace of the PC flight sims so strong. You'll never be asked to retreat from a battle after holding off enemy fighters long enough for backup to arrive. It's kill or be killed, every single time.
While the gameplay itself is quite realistic in appearance, with tightly-rendered ships, daunting scale and believable obstacles such as asteroids and hidden enemy bases on small moons, the characters in the important scenes are flamboyantly cartoony and unrealistic. The regal, pompous air exuded by the tall, green members of the Trade Federation in Episode I is rendered null and void when they flail their arms around, swivel their hips or throw their heads around in strange ways during casual dialog. It seems like the animators grew bored with what they were being asked to render and overcompensated on the body language.
The audio, to its credit, is very well done from start to finish. Though the voice acting is pretty much universally terrible, the sound effects and music more than make up for it and then some. Laser fire is easy to trace, each different ship sounds crisp and distinct, and the original John Williams score works every bit as well here as it does on screen.
This is a title that had all the elements of a great game, in the same vein as its vaunted predecessors. It was overflowing with ingenuity, featuring unique new elements that made even the harshest battles exciting and entertaining, an enormous stage upon which to play, a steadily rising level of difficulty and several well-developed unlockable features. The gameplay is most certainly spot-on but the story, mood and motivations have got it all wrong. It's hard to get into a game like this, no matter how original the weaponry, if the story feels like an afterthought and each stage is just a new skin wrapped around the same old set of goals. Extra features help add a little spice to it, but on the large it's a perfect example of what could have been. I wish they'd taken another couple months on this, finished it properly and concentrated more on adding some peaks and valleys to the missions themselves.』
(one of the worst games I have ever played) 『This game was terrible my dog can make a more fun game than this. It's not worth looking at. I look wide eyed when people buy it.』
(Not my idea of a spacebattle game) 『Being an avid fan of Star Fox from Nintendo 64, I was hoping to find something similar on xbox. The only similarity Jedi Starfighter offers is the incessant whining and stupid chatter you get on the radio from your annoying allies. They make you want to desert and join the enemy. Besides that, this game is nothing but aim and shoot. That's it. In Star Fox you had to learn trick flying so you could fly between buildings and under bridges, maneuver around obstacles and outfox your attackers. You were looping and dodging the whole time while you shot at bogies, like an old-fashioned fighter plane dogfight. In Jedi Starfighter you don't even get the feeling your ship is in motion. It's like you're almost stationary, turning around in circles looking for stuff to shoot at, which to me gets really boring in a short amount of time. Reminds me of 1980's technology. Lame, lame, lame.』

This game is good, but there are a few weak points. The voice dialogue, while well-scripted, never shuts up and may drive you batty. The AI is downright dumb early in the game: for example, you can blast away at an enemy troop carrier, and it keeps going on its merry way until it's destroyed (the drones are somewhat trickier, but soon become predictable). The AI does improve later on, but some may not feel challenged even then. Lastly, the button placement on the already cumbersome Xbox controller is difficult--the zoom button is right next to the shoot button, making it pretty much impossible to do both at the same time.
Bottom line:Star Wars Jedi Starfighteris a fun space shooter--especially for two-player gaming--that shows off your Xbox.--Bryan Karsh
Pros:
Good training missions
Two-player cooperative and combative modes
Sharper, smoother graphics than PS2 version
Cons:
Too much dialogue
Difficult button placement
Dumb AI

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (AWESOME!) 『I am so hooked on this game!! If you like the sims..buy this and forget about the sims you have played cause this game blows the sims OUT of the water!!!』
(Very adicting and fun.) 『This game is one of the most addictive games I have ever played. It captures all the things of the real Playboy empire. Throwing parties, making issues of magazines, shooting photos yourself, women wearing sexy cloths, fake boobs, and a wee bit of sex.
You can play missions or just free play. Pick women to put on the cover, and like I said take the cover photos yourself, get into relationships, shoot photos of celebrities, and choose the cloths they wear for it.
One part I liked about this game is you don't need to unlock to ability for your playmates or girls to go topless, you get the ability right off the bat. But, the boobs are just a tad pixily, and just look fake, but thats how playboy is right? You can engage in sex with any girl in the game, but, like The Sims, you have to build a good relationship with them. But that takes about 2 minutes, LITERALLY! When you do engage in sex, if they aren't your girlfriend, you do it on the couch. If they are, then you can do it on the couch, AND the bed. But, only the boobs are reviled. They both wear a bottom. So sorry for you hard core porn lovers out there.
The only downsides is it would be cool if you could somehow make your own playmate. Choose all the physical characteristics, profession, and everything. The other downside is the camera is can just get annoying.
Summing it up, you get the freedom of The Sims (if not more) If you can do it in The Sims, you can do it here, except going into detail of creating a character, or even creating a character at all. You also have missions too. It's not like The Sims where its basiacally just build a house, but real missions that require some thinking.
Very bottom line: If you want to play a sexier, funner, more adicting game than The Sims, pick this up. You will NOT regret it.』
(Good Game, Quite the Novelty!) 『Purchased this game on a whim/dare. Found that it's not that bad of a game. Good fun game play, very much resembling The Sims, except with a twist that only Playboy could bring to the gaming world. Overall a fun, entertaining and good game.』

This also has a great cast of celebrities, cool story and a catchy theme song. It's just something that will overall please Bond fans everywhere. (Solid James Bond Game) 『While I like the first person James Bond games better, this game still earns 5 stars in my book. The gameplay is fun, and the replay value is great. If you're looking for a solid, fun, James Bond game, well here it is.』
(A solid Bond game) 『As far as not just being another action game, this game satisfy the expectations. While playing, you feel like being in a James Bond mission. Locations, situations, gadgets, cutscenes, all contribute well to the results. Too bad they couldn't achieve the same in the following "From Russia with Love", despite Connery's involvement. If you are a Bond's fan, this game is worth it.』
(Best Bond Game) 『Everything Or Nothing is by far the best james bond game available. The controls are very good, graphics are amazing and the storyline is up to par with a real 007 movie. The voice acting is a nice bonus as well. This game involves everything from stealthy fighting, flying helicopters, driving cool cars, motorcycles, jumping off cliffs. The array of bond gear is also very cool. The repel is a great feature that gives the game a very non-linear approach. The Q spider is also a very handy and useful addition to the 007 franchise as well. Everything or Nothing can be very difficult at times especially on the default agent setting, I will admit I played through most of this game on operative. With more experience however I could probably make through on agent just fine after completeing the game. This game is far better than the new From Russia With Love.』 『James Bond 007 Everything or Nothing for XBOX Returning as James Bond is Pierce Brosnan, who will lend his cyberscanned likeness and voice to the character. Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (A surprisingly good game...) 『I read alot of poor reviews about this game on other sites and I disagree. The graphics are good and the framerate is very smooth...hardly any slowdown at all during the race. It is about having fun racing Fords against Chevys (both classic and modern ones). You can choose to view from third-person to the behind-the-hood view (my favorite). You also have a button for turbo boost, similar to the Burnout series. Handling is very tight and as you go faster...there is a slight blur effect around the edge of your screen for that extra speed feeling. You can upgrade your parts and race against a friend in split-screen or online. This game even has voice commentary with a little touch of humor. The only thing that dissappointed me was the fact that there was no custom soundtrack option. Other than that this game is fun and worth buying.』 『Ford Vs. Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (headset breaks very easily) 『After one month the headset broke at the earpiece. Used scotch tape to accomplish a quick repair, will try superglue next. This is clearly a manufacturing/design/material defect. Other than that it works fine.』
(Solid headset, and quite comfortable) 『I'm usually skeptic about voice accessories for game consoles. They have a reputation of being overly styled, cumbersome and just uncomfortable. Several products--including the original Xbox Headset with Communicator--lived up to these expectations with depressing regularity.
Even the so-called "elite" headsets, like Xbox Plantronics Gamecon Halo 2 Headset Communicator, don't really do it for me. I don't know about you, but I can't really stand anything that goes into the ear. (ick!)
I had given up on mainstream voice hardware, but then I saw this model Xbox Headset with Communicator and decided to give it a try. The price is reasonable enough to justify a trial use.
To my amazement, it's incredibly comfortable. The microphone is actually shrouded in foam (to muffle those staccato P's and T's when speaking in the heat of battle) and the behind-the-neck design is no more uncomfortable than a heavy-duty pair of sunglasses. (just don't try to lean back in your chair)
As an insightful bit of design, the neck-piece is a masterpiece. Each side has a soft-rubber strip that gently rests on the backs of the ears. The neck-band is rigid and comfortably grasps the sides of the head. These two features combined make this headgear on-par with my studio-quality stereo headphones in terms of comfort.
The controller adapter is standard Microsoft specifications and features a 'mute' button right on the front, so you can easily talk to someone in the room as you would to someone online. Volume control is on the top and just as accessible.
Add to these the ability to switch the earpiece and boom (detachable) to the left or the right of the neck-band, and you have a solid performer. Looks cool, too... it has the 'old-school' charm of the original Xbox, but in a headset that's also compatible with the Xbox 360; A good find!』
(Xbox Headset) 『This product is good for a while until the connecter breaks and then some people go out and buy another headset and other people use glue and tape, but all i do is take the communicater part that broke off and slide it under the left ear (the actual thing that goes around your head) and then snap it back in place. Yea, it doesn't stay on your head great, but it does work and thats the way I use it. The only thing that I found that I dont like is that the communicater goes bad after a while. First I have to adjust the cord just right and then after a month of that, it doesn't work anymore. This is a good headset for about 6 months till the connection finally breaks』
(Breaks easily) 『The headset broke in the same day my son received it. So I remember reading on here, that this may happen and to just purchase a good headset to go with the communicator, so we did. Bought a headset at Radio Shack, put them together and he was in business. So, half the product is great, the other half breaks like glass. Purchase only for the communicator.』
(have to buy a new mic tommorrow) 『ok...i have had this mic for 1 and a half years....after about 6 months the part that holds the mic and headset detached....yes it was an easy fix with cement glue and tape but still....ok and now you cant hear out of the earpiece so i have to keep it speakers but my mic still works....i dont highly reccommend it but its ok...just be careful with it』 『You may have played online before, but until you've communicated in real time with teammates and opponents, you haven't lived!』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Too old for a decent grade) 『Theres not a large group of flying games that get a good rating, and this game is one. Back in its day, it might have been all the rave, but now its just cheesey. Graphics are outdated. The overall gameplay aint bad, theres lots to do. Theres many more games out there with much better graphics and are much more fun. But, if you've tried all the others and want more, get it, [...]』
(WW I Flying Fun) 『For the most part, the World War I scenario is well put together and is a fairly challenging game. One moves their way up the ranks as skill and daringness prevail. The graphics do not do Xbox justice, but are okay. My only real gripe is that there is only one view as you fly the airplane (as if you are just behind the plane, or as the game says, "flying machine"). I would rather have a cockpit view while flying... Incidentally, a realistic perspective is offered while manning various machine-guns - go figure. Overall the game deserves a chance to match skill and wits with the enemy!』
(Cool) 『This is a very good game. The graphics are great, the simulation is great, the action is great, and it's fun to play. Since I'm only 11, this game gets frustrating, and there's cusswords in it. Other than that, this is a great game for people who like the historic airplanes.』
(Wing of War-average at best) 『I have played the pal european version of this game which was released earlier. There are 2 modes this game has-the campaign mode and instant action. The campaign mode is the main mode here.It starts off with a tutorial explaining you the basic flight controls after which you are thrown into the missions.Your objectives include not only taking down enemy planes but shooting balloons, taking photographs of targets etc.The binoculars come in handy in spotting ground targets. The game boasts some nice effects like solid explosions ,leaving a trail of smoke behind. The voice overs during the missions are actually good .As for the graphics,i didn't like them that much.Yes,the backgrounds have detail, but the textures lack polish. They don't look xbox quality. For a 'next generation' xbox game,i expected the graphics to be better. The missions got boring aftr a certain point of time. The game failed to 'draw' me in and give me the impetus to continue it further. Wings of war is basically your average air combat game with a World War 1 kind of atmosphere thrown in.Die hard fans of air combat games may want to have a look in here.Other gamers will be better off staying away from this...

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Truth about Winning Eleven) 『My review is simple, the game is awesome. The graphics are great and the gameplay is great. The only draw back is that every time you play this game, every foul is against you. The referee is always against you and never gives cards to the computer.』
(Wow they always get better) 『wow. the gameplay is a bit different from winning eleven 8, but that only makes it funner. dont be like fifa. fifa is always the same it seems like, but with a more updated roster. (Fantastic Game) 『I was excited when I finally got my copy of the new Winning Eleven series. I owned WE8 for the last couple of months and immensely enjoyed it. WE9 is no different. There seems to be some difference in game controls but the game play stays the same. I think they followed the "if ain't broke do not fix it" which works with WE series. I noticed that the shots became a bit more sensitive to the touch and more powerful. Not to mention there are more licensed teams, especially Arsenal and Chelsea. However, with this franchise you don't notice what the team or player names are since you loose yourself in the game.
The biggest sell for WE9 over WE8 is the addition of XBOX Live support for me. I was used to online play from FIFA 2005 and it was the only thing that I missed after I ditched FIFA franchise. I played some online games with WE9 immediately and they were flawless. It was nothing short than playing with the computer. Of course this depends on the network connection and mine is good. I don't know yet how big the online community is though. This is something I will know after a while, I guess. If you want to play online, I am BlackEagleT on XBL.
I didn't have a chance to test drive the Master League yet but I am sure it is still much fun.
On a final note, I felt like the graphics were a little better than the previous series but it may just be my excited eyes:)
Bottomline is that if you are a real soccer fan you can never go wrong with WE9.』 『The most anticipated soccer franchise in the world comes out with its best game ever. Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Hilarious and fun to play) 『This is a well-made and funny game. You play as one of a team of four Shrek characters, each with their own speciality. The key to the game is switching between characters to accomplish tasks. It's especially fun for two players, and a good way to practice teamwork!
I reccomend this game for children (and children-at-heart) over the age of six; some of the moves may be frustrating for younger children.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 for Xbox) 『The program is nice and graphics are good except the golf ball is too big. The extensive ability to customize your player is a bit long and over done. The game play is easy and the putting is way too easy, you almost have to try to miss to screw up a put. I rate this program *** out of 5 for that reason. I have another golf program called Links for the Xbox that I like better. It plays much more like real golf and is much more of a challenge so I rate it **** and believe me putting with that program takes some skill. Others have rated Tiger Woods programs with disappointment because they say there aren't that much difference between some of them but since this is the only version I have, I can't respond to that comment and can't down rate the program for that. All in all, it's a good game if you don't have Links to compare it to.』
(Golf - For Everyone Else) 『I hate golf. I don't like to watch it, I don't like to play it, I don't even like to hear about it. But from the first time I played a Tiger Woods PGA Tour game I've been hooked. It's game that's fun whether you're playing alone or with your 3 best friends. There are several modes of play, all of which can be played with or without friends. This includes season mode, allowing everyone to earn skill tokens and build up their character. There aren't many ways to earn skill tokens outside of season mode, but there are a couple of modes that allow you to work on your swing and personal (i.e. you as a person, not as a game character) accuracy. Overall, this is a highly addictive game, but with the multiplayer options, it can be one for the whole family.』
(Fun) 『This game is fun and challenging. You are able to tweak the UI and make it harder to beat the players if you are playing against the computer. Tons of courses and golfers. The trees could be a little taller, because you can drive over almost all of them along the fairways.』
(Near Perfect!!) 『I've played all the TW games, and I feel that this game has a strong lead over the others. Team tour is awesome, and the game face is improved and cool. I bought the game a week ago and haven't been able to stop playing it. I recommend this game to any golf enthusiast!!』
(love it!) 『Love Tiger Woods - I played non-stop for a while when I got it. It is not quite what it is on PlayStation with some of the graphics and extras, but its a fantastic game!! I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good game.』 『Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007 takes golf gaming to new level of realism. Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (I Love This Game) 『This game brings back such fun memories. It is a challenging and very funny game, different from others. I get great enjoyment playing it. I still am a kid at heart. Recommended for those wanting something different.』
(fun fun fun) 『fans of the original sega classic, this will blow you away. love it. so fun .』
(A Platform Game Outside the Mario/Sonic Mold) 『I really enjoyed this game despite being completely unfamiliar with the previous two games. Like most other platformers it has all the worlds you've come to expect such as desert, ice, forest, and water. But what most sets it apart from the pack is the sense of humor; both in the cutscenes and in the wisecracks you will hear from the various characters ( crazed dentists, bratty kids, inquisitive nerds, and mischievous elves ). Unlike Ratchet + Clank and the Jak and Daxter series, the comedy here actually works since it is more mature and doesn't ape the Disney model ( goody two-shoes hero with a goofy/irritating tag-along sidekick ). And, if you're a child of the 80's, you'll get a kick out of the vinyl sleeves of the records you collect, which parody landmark hip-hop, r&b, and funk albums. The game is a respectable length and sells for reasonable price; the only knock against it is the level of challenge. It can't be adjusted, and is just a bit too easy to slide through ( although, some of the timed bonus challenges can be tricky ) once you get the hang of it. But this is somewhat alleviated by the abundance of unfunky earthlings ( midwestern 50's housewives with beehives? Hilarious! ) chasing you around the rather narrow dimensions of most worlds. All in all, this a game you should certainly pick up, since I haven't played any other that made me laugh more and few others that were quite as much fun.』
(Just a platformer with a theme) 『ToeJam&Earl III is a standard platform game (think mario).
On any given level you accomplish a set of tasks that include collecting things (keys, presents, food), convert humans to the funk, and delivering something from A to B. You can play as any of the 3 characters and switch mid-game.
Along the way you can find power-ups, replenish your health, jump, run...all the standard stuff.
The focus on the funk is all about old-school hip-hop. ToeJam, Earl, and Latisha are all sterotypical hip-hop characters. Mini-level cut-scenes include sweet-honey-in-the-rock style vocals. The focus on the funk is different although taken somewhat overboard. That's ok though. This is a platformer.
This is as much of a kids game as any platformer (crash bandicoot, spongebob) although there isn't really any violence (unlike flying body parts in crash). Humans will come up and kick you but when you blast your funk-fu at them they become nice and stop hitting.
More like Spongebob, this is more tongue-in-cheek and not serious like Mario.
All in all this is a decent platformer that is a little different and somewhat amusing.
I purchased mine from an alternate seller (used&new) which offered a reasonable price.』
(An Amazing Game!) 『I am quite suprised by the people who gave this game such low scores. Toejam and Earl III is one of the funnest games I have played in a real long time.
I've been a TJ&E fan since the begining back on Sega Genesis and I've been looking foward to this since they announced it would be released on Dreamcast. Unfortunatly, the game never made it to Dreamcast and ended up being released only on X-Box. Being a loyal sega fan and old schooler gamer, there's no way I'm going to buy an X-box. Toejam&Earl 3 is the only game on the whole system that I am even impressed with.
I am now in pain because this game is only released on one system. I dont want to buy an X-Box for just this game, and I dont feel its right for Sega to ask us too. I hope they port this game to the PC or create a new version for GBA or something.
Here's an idea: why not port the original 2 games onto the Game Boy Advance? I'm still holding my breath.
Until then, Jam out to the funky music of TJ&E III and have yourselves a blast!』 『The Toe Jam&Earl franchise is an anomaly to the trend of hyper-realism and violence in video games, and this latest addition to the series excels at creating another gloriously fun and wacky cartoon experience. The goal ofToe Jam&Earl III: Mission to Earthis to recover the stolen Twelve Sacred Albums of Funk by exploring various levels on Earth, befriending Earthlings, and finding keys and presents to aid in the journey. The real fun of the game, however, is its funk theme. You can convert unfunky Earthlings to the ways of funk, and there are inspired funky touches throughout the game, including a gospel vocal trio that sings whenever a new level loads. The game doesn't take itself seriously, and to enjoy it, a competitive gaming mindset should be set aside. In two-player mode, the game promotes teamwork by allowing players to share health (just high-five each other) and immunity to attacks. The game's combination of 80s funk and overall goofiness won't appeal to everyone, but it's an ideal mix for parents in search of a game that they can enjoy with their kids (the game is rated Teen for animated blood and violence, but the gore is all cartoonish) and anyone else with an offbeat sense of humor.--Sung Nicholas Kim
