Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (wow !) 『whatelse can you say about this game.you get to race around in the general lee and not have to worry about paying for gas or damages. when you play this if you turn around and go in the opposite direction you can just drive all day long,it's great !!!』
(IS THIS ANYTHING LIKE DRIVER ?) 『I am a fan of driving(not racing, street driving) on the PS1 though i have got PS2-but i like PS1 games from time to time. I collect all thse run-away-from-cop driving games or even the other way round so far i have had: DRIVER DRIVER 2 THE ITALIAN JOB THE WORLDS SCARIEST POLICE CHASES
I am wonderin if the DOH games are worhy..』
(Just a good ol' game) 『This game has all of the stuff seen in the Dukes of Hazzard episodes. It's got the General Lee, it's got the voices of Bo Luke and Daisy Duke! It also has one fast paced original Duke a adventure.』
(The Dukes of Hazzard: Racing For Home) 『This game is fun. The car handling isn't the greatest, but the game makes up for it with how much fun it is. It's not your modern day awesome graphics strategy game, but it's still cool to be able to drive the General Lee at 90 mph down a dirt road while running from sheriff Roscoe. If you're into classic games, and are looking for something to do, you should definately play this one.』
(awesome!) 『well, even though i'm a girl, i've always loved dukes of hazzard. i've always wanted to be in the general lee with bo and luke and daisy. that's why i like this game. you can drive the general lee, and other cars, and pretend to be bo or luke or whoever your favourite character is. anyway, this is my favourite playstation game and i really encourage you to buy it. it's great.』 『VIDEO GAME VERSION.
On paper it sounds like the easiest game to make in the whole world. Take everybody's favorite hicks-n'- car-chases TV show, the Dukes of Hazzard, and turn it into a mission-based driving game. There'd be all sorts of things you could do like running from the law, racing, wrecking cop cars... uh... running from the law some more... the list goes on and on.The game's story is told through pre-rendered cutscenes, which use some of the real voices from the old TV show. The renders of the characters look downright frightening sometimes by the resemblance. The story moves along from plot point to plot point very quickly. At the beginning you'll just be doing things like stopping carjackers and getting money to the bank before it closes. But the game eventually leads up to a big race and takes a sharp left turn into flashback territory after that, where you'll actually play as a young Uncle Jesse as he tells the story of Black Jack Perril, the game's resident villain.』 『It looks like them Duke boys are in a heap o' trouble, and it's up to you to lend 'em a neighborly hand. Based on the long-running television series, this game is a stunt-driving bonanza featuring all your favorite characters, including Bo, Luke, and Daisy Duke, Uncle Jesse, Boss Hog, Cooter, Enos, and the memorable sheriff, Roscoe P. Coltrane. Most of the original cast members have lent their voice-acting talents to the game, including the narrator, Waylon Jennings.
The opening sequence and cutscenes between each level are 3-D-rendered dead ringers for the television show, making it worthy of consideration for collectors. Driving missions are simple and fun, with high-flying ravine jumps and dirt-road power-slides. Get behind the wheel of the General Lee (yes, it has the customized horn), Daisy's Jeep, Cooter's tow truck, and Uncle Jesse's infamous moonshine-runner, Black Tillie.
Control is not as exacting as it should be, but the CB radio banter and the silliness of it all carry the game far beyond its gameplay.--Jeff Young
Pros:
Good re-creation of the television series
Missions ripped straight from the show such as "get the mortgage to Boss Hog before the bank closes"
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Great game for years to come.) 『This game, along with the 2 EA patches make the game worth getting. You can also download ALMS and CART mods for the game as well as dozens of new tracks to add to it. Don't listen to the bad reviews, its well worth [the money]. F1 2002 has better graphics and multiplayer, but this game has tons of add-ons. Buy Both!』
(F1 2001 - Really worth it?) 『I haven't even been able to play F1 2001 becuase of everything that needs to be turned off in order to play it. We have to MANUALLY turn off all background operations, which takes 5 minutes - at least. Then you have to reboot the computer and reset everything. I got it as a birthday gift, but I don't think it's worth all the trouble to play it. I gave it 1-star rating because right now, I don't think very much of it, and I don't think I will. If I could give it less, I would. As for Amazon.com, who don't say ANYTHING about everything you have to do, I give them 1/2 a star - if even that.』
(Worst force feedback implementation ever) 『Just a few things that one should know about this game before buying it.
If one is used to calibrating one's controllers for the best possible feel and use, with this game you cannot. This game inexplicably does not give one any calibration options. At what ever level the game deems to be the maximum braking effort, that is what you get. I can literally stand on my brakes on not get them to lock up. At the three tracks that I tried I had to consistently begin breaking at the first brake marker. In other Formula One sims that I have played, I can brake very late and still make the corners.
The implementation of force feedback is probably the worst thing about this game. It feels as though the car was straddling two ditches. It pulls (hard) and steers to the right, then when you adjust the wheel slightly it pulls (hard) and steers to the left. One ends up on the straights darting left and right trying to control the wheels. The cars are absolutely uncontrollable using force feedback!
About the only thing good about the game is the accuracy of the tracks. They seem to match yard for yard the tracks as shown on television.
So as other reviewers have said, save your money for GP 4 or just about any other driving simulation.』
(Save your bucks for GrandPrix 4) 『The 3 stars are only for the GRAPHICS.
I earlier reviewed this game after two weeks of its purchase, may that`s the reason i was so exxagerated in judging the game, but when we go deep into the game, one will definitely asuure that this game only a Graphics oriented game and not a true F1 sim. GrandPrix 3 is far more superior in the Physics section and a quarter behind in graphics, but for a true F1 simulator, this isn`t an issue, he looks only for the game play rather than keeping on looking how the car ahead of you looks. Is the rear wing blue in colour or is the wheel having the correct 4 strands as a standard F1 car`s or are the sponsorers` stickers correctly placed in the right place. These are some sticking points which force the buyer to buy this fade-away game. I first got irritated by seeing all the cars pass by in the 4th and 5th turns in the AUSTRIAN grandPrix where as they can`t come closer to me in the left over turns that are the 1st 2nd 3rd 6th and 7th turns. This is real annoying to F1 gamers. The same AUSTRIAN grandprix with updated textures is very challenging to drive in GP3 in the same 4th and 5th turns. But even though i try my balls out to drive in the turns in F1`2001 I can`t maintain speed even in the ROOKIE level.
So, finally i pledge to all my Co-F1 hardcore gamers to save their money and wait for Granprix 4 to be released in April - May. Gp4 is said to be having all the ingredients of F1`2002 except the 2002 drivers, but anyhow you can download patches that keep the game updated.
So look for the best perform-er and not the best Show-er.』
(My review of F1 2001) 『F1 2001 is simply one of the best racing sims on the market, the other two being , Official one racing by eidos interactive, and the other being F1 2000,predecessor to F1 2001. Grandprix 3 is a fake, because cars get hit so hard until their axle come off, but the racer that hit you just keep right on going, like nother never happened. All you formula one gamers, need to wait until, formla one racing is shown on T V, sit back and take a long hard look, at how these cars are driven, and how they handle, with the real drivers sitting in the cockpit, then and only then will you see the reality of Official formula one racing at its best, thank you; PEACE: P.S. Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Dont waste your money) 『Very hard to keep the car in a straight line and unless you're in first place the game ends before the checkered flag. I'm going to check the ...return policy when I finish this ...』
(Terrible) 『we all loved the previous Eidos F1 game, Official Formula 1, and played it online at MPlayer ( you still can) but they really dropped the ball on this one, I retuned it after playing it for a couple of hours.』 タイトル『 F1 2001 >

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (one of the best) 『F1 2000 is one of the best formula one racing sim on the market, trust me; PEACE:』
(Very realistic game.) 『Great fun for a F1 fanatic. Graphics are great if you have the power. Audio is wonderfull also. It shows how much talent a F1 driver has, I cant keep up with the leaders. Bus as stated else wear it is great to race a track on the PC them watch the actual 2001 race.
A must have for the well equiped PC owner who loves F1』
(I thought EA products were suppose to be good!!) 『I got the game started. Some adverts during the installation told me that ALL the games apart from F1 2000 were excellent. Anyway, the video was absolutely bad. I have played FIFA 2001 and Rugby 2001. The video in those games were exciting and good. But in F1 2000 it just shows a bit of pit stops by the Benetton crews and it showed no F1 action at all!! That gave me a really bad impression. Then I go to quick race in Indianapolis because I never raced in that track before. The graphic and sounds were terrible. There are no sound at you shift down (unlike GP3 when you have a sound and the flame from the exhaust) and when you get in to the grass, it's a good idea to have the mrak in the grass but the graphic was too poor. There are some good stuff too, but not many. First of all, the voice of Jim Rosenthile and pit crews are excellent. You could also knock down the board showing you the distance from the corner. I havn't had a wet race yet in F1 2000 so I can't rate on that but it seems almost impossible to finish the race. GP3 is simply way better.』
(For all of you Formula One fanatics) 『If you're one of those closet F1 racers, come on out! F1 Championship Season is as good as it gets. Although it takes a lot of PC horsepower to get the best performance out of it (I had to upgrade my video card to 64mb), it's worth every dollar. The graphics are stunning, but the best part is how realistic the car's dynamics are. Be prepared to look stupid the first time you drive it. If you don't use things like traction control, anti-lock brakes, and the other driver "help" goodies, you'll find out how hard driving a real F1 car is. Get used to spins, sliding through turns and crashes. And that's on dry roads...don't even think of turning on the rain. I have perhaps 5 other driving simulators, like the Need for Speed series, Sports Car GT and several Nascar ones, but nothing even comes close. Use it with a force feedback wheel and you'll see what I mean. It's as real as you can get without putting your life in danger!
Try it, then watch the 2001 F1 races on Speedvision. It'll give you a whole new perspective on Formula One racing. The tracks in the simulator (I can't in good concience call it a game) are so real, when you watch the actual races on TV, you'll feel like you've already been there.
It's the best of the best.』
